Artem Kessyk laid on the floor of a metallic cell. Well, he wasn't sure how metallic it was, but he could feel the cold metal floor on his back. Why was he here? How did he get there? Artem was unsure. The force-sensitive teen hadn't dared to open his eyes, fearing that there was a frightening guard watching him. But he felt like no one was there. Opening his right eye just a crack, he saw no one, so he opened his other eye and slowly got up, legs shaky a bit.

A curse escaped his lips as he looked around the cell. The security was good, he had to admit, much better than the security on Coruscant at least. Those cells were pretty easy to escape because they had a window and it was easy to slip out of them into the night. But this was different. For some strange reason, Artem knew that he wasn't on Coruscant.

There had to be some way to escape though. If there wasn't a window, there had to be some other way. Running his fingers along the wall, Artem scowled, not feeling anything particularly useful. However, when he walked towards the door/entrance of the cell, the doors opened, revealing a rather dreary-looking hallway.

Peeking outside, just to make sure no guards were present, the boy gave a sigh of relief. That was great. Fantastic, in fact. Walking down the hallway barefoot, Artem realized that he didn't recognize the facility one bit. It looked different than the typical Coruscant detention center. Suddenly, he heard a few voices from afar. Stopping in his tracks, Artem tried to eavesdrop. They were talking about Mandalorians, it seemed. Lame.

However, they gave off interesting... Artem didn't really know how to describe it... Vibes? Feelings? He swore he could've sensed some sort of power among them, as if he magically knew that they were powerful. That was rather strange. But then, Artem suddenly remembered something.

Artem wasn't exactly sure how long he had been asleep, but assumed that it had been a day or two. The last thing he could remember, was meeting a Rodian man, who had called himself Lord Urtoul. The man had claimed that he sensed power in Artem and promised a great life of power and glory, if Artem would follow him. Of course, Artem remembered being skeptical about it, but he had sensed the same powerful vibe. And also, he had a feeling that this so-called "Lord Urtoul" had a large bag of credits. He had tried to get the bag, by levitating it and removing it from the Rodian's belt, but had failed. Consequently, the Rodian had cursed at him and called him a fool. Artem couldn't really remember anything after that.

So maybe that was why he was at this rather intense prison facility? Well, the security was rather skimpy if he could literally strut right out the door. Artem frowned. Maybe this Rodian was actually some sort of lord and had convinced the guards on Coruscant to bring him to some heavy security prison. But a prison with no guards? Strange indeed.

Artem attempted to continue to listen to the conversation of the seemingly powerful group from afar, but the voices were fading away. The voices soon disappeared, and Artem assumed that the group were much further away now. Walking around a corner, he saw a large glass window.

He was in space. Probably for the first time in his life. Taking a few cautious steps towards the window, Artem was amazed by the feeling of being in outer space. The boy was fascinated by the inky void called space and the numerous twinkling lights in the distance called stars. A bit further down, Artem could see a dusty red planet with swaths of white. What planet was that? He wasn't sure, but something told him that the dusty red planet was home to power...

Rasan need only hear the confirming words of Darth Tragedis, and he did. Quickly dispatching a marauder or two, Rasan began to pool the force around into a spherical cage between his hands. A certain chill reverberated throughout the air as if Death's caress ran down their bodies. A swirling sound could be heard, emanating from Rasan's position. A floating whirlpool manifested in Rasan's hands, they trembled with pain. Then BOOM! An instantaneous wave of Force energy was sent flying from the Blank Sith. Dozens of marauders flew across the room, some dying on impact and others bruised. But the task was done, Rasan had cleared away for his fellow Sith to traverse without suffering the pests' nuisance. While Tragedis continued to garner their attention.

"And with that, we depart." Rasan gestured to his fellow Sith, his voice is ragged and strained. "Quickly, may I add." The Blank Sith had managed to gather enough of himself to begin his rush out of the study. Reaching the parlour, Rasan took a minute to find the trapdoor that Tragedis mentioned; Chagrin couldn't describe Rasan's feelings toward Tragedis and his placement of the trapdoor.

"Curse this." He muttered under his breath.

As Tragedis made his way through his chambers he fully expected to simply leap through the secret passage way and meet the others on the outside. To his infinite annoyance he found the Sith Lords fidgeting with the trap door trying to get it open. Tragedis' eyes began to glow in anger...

"Fools...if you haven't yet noticed, time is of the essence!!" he shouted as he reaches out with The Force to simply rip the trap door's lid right off it's hinges "Down the tunnel, and be quick about it!"

The other Sith didn't argue and leapt into escape tunnel, followed swiftly by Tragedis. Once outside, they all take a moment to collect their bearings as the coast seems momentarily clear. Not more than a second after they begin to relax, a massive and sleek Marauder transport barrels up out of nowhere, more than a dozen Sith troopers spilling out of the transport, blasters drawn and light sabers buzzing. The main canon of the assault craft, aims a well placed sonic stun blast that sends the small group of rogue Sith flying backwards, each one landing several feet back in all directions. Tragedis himself is thrown back so violently, that he very nearly tumbles off a nearby ledge in which his villa sits atop. The Sith Lord grabs the edge of the cliff just in time to keep himself from falling to his death nearly two hundred feet below. His rage begins to boil over as he let's out a spine chilling war cry that echoes off the cliff and into the city of Talo Gravid below. Concentrating for a moment, The Grand Inquisitor uses The Force to leap high into the air, and in mid jump, retrieves and activates his light saber in one fluid motion. He lands directly on top of the hovering Marauder assault craft, his red saber impaling the vehicle's main pilot through the glass of the front cockpit. The fatal blow causes the assault craft to veer out of control and crash onto the ledge below. Through the dust and haze, Tragedis spies his fellow Sith, making short work on the remaining Marauders. The violent crash of the assault vehicle has gauged a deep cut above Tragedis' right eye, but he frees himself from underneath the wreckage and approaches the cockpit. He finds the pilot grievously injured from being impaled by his saber, but otherwise still alive. The pilot breathes hard and coughs up several streams of blood. Completely devoid of compassion or mercy, Tragedis simply reaches in, pulls the pilot out and callously throws him off the nearby cliff, the man's screams gradually fading out as he falls. Tragedis peers inside and suddenly realizes Lethalis' warning. They only had an hour to exit Korriban and get past the Sith checkpoints with the codes he had provided. They had to get moving and soon. As his fellow Sith began to gather round, Tragedis addresses them.

"We have to reach Theta Shaa within the hour, or we will be trapped on Korriban, our fates sealed. Rasan, I know you used to specialize in piloting attack craft when you were in the Sith Armaments Command. If anyone can fly this thing, you can. It won't get us anywhere near the hyperspace lanes, but it should be able to reach Theta Shaa. Do what you can, I'm going to arrange for Ravaro to meet us there. Quickly, do whatever pre checks you need to and get us off this accursed planet!"

At that, he walks a short distance away and activates his holo communications device, once again trying to dial into Rovaro's frequency. A few moments later and he does manage to raise the mercenary.

"Well, that was fast..." cackles Rovaro "Got those coordinates already?"

"Just shut up and listen. We've run into some slight complications. We need your transport ship here within the next hour. I'll send over the coordinates through holo net."

"What...the next hour? Are you out of your mind, it'll take me at least half a solar day to clear the hyper space lanes, there's no way I..."

"Idiot, who do you think your fooling? Do not forget the holo net can pinpoint your exact location! I know your on Nar Shadda, no more than a few parsecs from Korriban! We need you here now, can you do it?"

Rovaro picks his tooth with a cocky grin "Alright Darth, you got me. But I'll have to tell you, for my inconvenience, I'm gonna need up front payment. Ten Thousand Galactic Credits, plus fuel."

Tragedis grits his teeth in anger "You imbecilic, blundering pirate, I don't have that kind of currency on me! Where am I supposed to get ten thousand credits...out of thin air?!"

"Well that's a crying shame Tragedis. But if you want my ship, that's my price and these are my terms, take it or leave it." says Rovaro.

"When I get a hold of you, you bottom feeding maggot, I swear in the names of the ancient Sith Lords, I will tear your beating heart straight out of your chest!"

"Well that sounds like a no to me my Lord, I'll catch you around, that is if there's anything left of you..." the mercenary says with a laugh as his hologram begins to fizzle out.

"Ok, alright!! Ten thousand credits!" shouts Tragedis in frustration.

Rovaro smiles from ear to ear as his image reforms "Excellent doing business with you. Just send those coordinates my way and you got yourself a ship."

"When you arrive near Sith controlled space, use the arming code Zeta 1287T to get past the check points, meet us directly near hangar four. Do not delay!"

Rovaro simply winks defiantly as his image blinks out. Tragedis crushes the communication device with his bare hands in sheer frustration. He needed to evade hordes of Sith battalions, make if off the planet in a wrecked assault vehicle, and somehow get a hold of ten thousand ill begotten credits...all in one hour.

Sitting in his throne chamber, Magus suddenly senses a rumbling disturbance within The Force. He feels tendrils of psychic energy reaching out to him and immediately recognizes it as Vahdress. In a flash of images, he could see how the battle ensued, and his acolyte's battle with Tragedis. He clenched his fists when he sees that the treasonous rogue Sith have escaped.

"Find them Vahdress! I don't care if you have scour the entire galaxy, do not let them escape! Do not return without Tragedis' head, do you hear me!" Magus says through his Force Connnection with his Emperor's Hand.

The Alien knuckles colliding with his head for a third time brought Jhansi back to consciousness with a throbbing ache in the left side of his head. It didn’t take him long to remember what he was even doing here. Though the thugs holding each of his arms out to his sides was a good reminder, He had just pissed off the wrong guy…again.
~~~
Last he remembered they were playing Sabacc, both he and this pirate shlub Rovaro just so happened to drop nearly perfect hands at the same time. Which unfortunately pissed off the rest of the players at the table. Ever the quick wit Jhansi would put the whole thing on Rovaro saying he cheated as loudly as possible before shuffling away as quickly as possible. He had just turned his ticket into the exit counter to collect his blasters, when Rovaro’s large toady grunted from behind him. “Wait your turn man I’m in a ru-.” he started as he spun to face the much larger wookie looking at him. “Crap.” he said quickly as the wookie backhanded him at least halfway across the front doorway. That backhand had certainly hurt the smuggler as his cheek throbbed and the back of his head ached slightly from the hard landing. If not for him using the force to bolster his body at the last second that may have finished him off, however he didn’t want to risk doing more than that, especially not in or near Sith space.
Still he Wasn’t going to leave his blasters and so he quickly sprung to his feet about to say something totally awesome but his voice caught in his throat when the wookie reached back and grabbed both of his blasters that were set on the counter the moment he was backhanded. His curled fists opened and raised as he said “Whoaaah easy now man, I’m gonna need those back.” he was about to make an attempt to close the distance when he heard Rovaro speak from the edge of the reception area leading back to the casino. “I think you may have much bigger concerns Jhansi.” he said with a bit of a chuckle as the double doored entrance to the casino flung open and three more of Ravaro’s crew mates entered blasters at the ready. “I don’t suppose you would be willing to talk about th-“ Once more the wookie cut his sentence short this time by smacking him in the back of the head with his own blasters pommel, having crossed the distance in just a few strides while Jhansi’s attention was forced to bounce between the approaching . This time Jhansi was a little bit too slow in fortifying his body, and he was greeted for his failure by the cold black embrace of sleep.
~~~
Apparently those pirates had dragged him off behind the hotels dumpsters where he found himself kneeling in some unknown sludge with Rovaro mono laughing about how he “overplayed his hand” and “placed the wrong bet.” And other terrible gambling puns. Despite his initial lack of desire to do so, he began to ready himself in the force to launch these guys into the surrounding walls like the rotten vegetables they were, however right as Rovaro pointed his blaster at Jhansi and the smuggler prepared to strike first the Pirates holo com chided and the image of what was pretty damned obviously a man in a sticky situation began to talk with him about evacuations and credits. Jhansi glanced up at the hologram and immediately recognized the Sith that nearly killed him several months back and at once the gears in his head began turning in a different direction as his loosened his grip on the force. The man who stood behind him had been looking up Jhansi on the Holoweb and had found the bounty just in time. As Rovaro ended the transmission he once again readied himself to put a blaster shot through Jhansi’s head when his cohort showed him Jhansi’s bounty of 3,500 credits. With a smile Rovaro holstered his blaster and laughed at Jhansi, “Man oh man is your luck worse than you thought, I guess you get to live for another hour or two.”

The group made their way to the dock as rovaro turned to the man with the holoweb tablet “Pik. Is the ship refueled yet?” the mute pirate shook his head but then gestured to Jhansi and pulled up an image of his ship before inclining his head towards the opposite dock. “Well look at that Jhansi, you gave me another bonus, I almost feel bad getting so much off of your hide.” He chuckled his men joining in with him as they carted Jhansi away to the Corvid. “I don’t know dude, something tells me you might be biting off more than you can chew.” Jhansi said cryptically only to feel the wind leave him moments later as Rovaro’s wookie drove a fist into his diaphragm. “What’s that Boy? I couldn’t hear you?” The pirates began laughing again and while doubled over Jhansi would whisper into the radio built into his lapel. “BB, Get to the lab and engage observation mode…don’t move until I tell you.” None of the pirates would hear his whispered communication over their laughter and they quickly filed into his ship after a few seconds of fiddling with the keypad. Apparently that mute hacker of theirs was talented, shame he had to use it on the Corvid, Jhansi couldn’t forgive that, yet the time for that would come. At the moment Jhansi would once again feel a flood of pain as the two dragging him along would toss him into the hard metal crate in his storage bay and engage the cargo lock Sealing the lid and the crate itself in place with powerful magnets. Moments later the Corvid engines would fire up and the ship would cruise smoothly to deep orbit before he would feel the Hyperdrive begin to hum to life. Sure he was in a bit of a sticky but Jhansi was still optimistic, after all he just got about an extra hour, what came next would be something he would deal with as it arrived, who knows maybe he could get himself another hour.
