Spice and Wolf: Crossing Paths
Spice and Wolf was a tale following Lawrence, a peddler who traveled from town to town selling, buying, and trading to earn money in order to fund his dream of becoming a shop owner. During his travels through the medieval landscape, he comes to a town primarily formed around the farming lifestyle. During their festival someone stows away in his wagon, and he ends up agreeing to travel with this person as a companion. The only catch is, the stowaway is the God of Harvest from that town; Holo, the wise wolf. Thus Lawrence and Holo travel through towns, cities, and forests facing many dangers along the way, all to make it to their goals; money for Lawrence's shop and for Holo to go home. This was the story the series told, but there are always more stories than the one most often told.
In this RP multiple Gods will take their human forms, leaving their homes in order to head north to meet Holo. These Gods will seek refuge and companions, anyone willing to help them travel to their friend. They all have spent centuries in this world, watching as humanity grows; either helping or hindering in their own ways. They are wise, talented, and hold great power within them, but their relevance is diminishing with every day. Churches protesting one true God have control of the known world, and these Gods of towns are being considered pagan. If they were to find out of the existence of the Gods in their human forms, they would most certainty be locked away as witches. Thus the road will be difficult, but with the help of friends and partners alike; they must all reach their northern home.
