Futuristic Space Pirates and Zombies

Status: Undead

Lord of the Frogs! RIBBIT!
Hopefully this format looks good on an iPad. I think it looks really good on my computer screen, even when I change the size of the window. It all moves correctly and is very easily readable to me. I would love your input on the formatting, i.e. the code I used and how it looks, how easy it is to read, and the like. Flowiest D Flowiest D

Keiko Farogue
Location Information A veritable space fortress, the XTY Gormorant is a massive derelict ship. The Gormorant was used in a massive battle that has long been forgotten. A shadow group has since claimed this fortress, using it for their experiments.

The ship itself is almost as large as some small moons. It's hulking exterior is covered in frost of varied layers of thickness. Underneath most of the frost, rust can also be found. The ship is longer than it is wide. While most of it may appear blue or gray, the underlying ship is mostly black and silver, although it's difficult to tell through the frost casing.

The interior of the ship is straightforward. It was built in a grid-like fashion for ease of navigation, with signs in various languages for ease of travel.

Keiko Farogue: A member of a species of humanoids that have taken on frog-like features. She's a tall 6', though she can seem small due to her slender, fragile-looking body. Were she to stand next to a human of the same height, her hips would be slightly higher than a humans. This is due to her species' long legs, allowing them to make incredible jumps. Other than this, her most obviously non-human features include her tongue, which can reach out similar to a frogs. Her tongue is much stronger than a frogs though, and it can stick to practically any surface. It is also strong enough that she can use it to pull her entire body, or even someone else, as well as using it for mid-air maneuverability.

She has three digits on each hand and foot The fingers on her hand look similar to humans, though slightly elongated. They include two fingers and a thumb. The ones on her feet are more frog-like. They are long and bulbous. The bottoms of her feet have more traction than rubber, allowing her to adhere to most surfaces, though she can't stick to surfaces like with her tongue, so she can't hang upside down or the like. She also rarely wears shoes, as is the fashion of her species.

She also has an almost human-like appearance to her skin. If you took the palest humans, her skin would be a slightly green-tinted version of that. Many members of her species can come in a variety of colors, a much wider range than humans. Keiko has a duller, more tame color than many members of her species. Her skin, if touched, would also feel almost human-like. Though it would be slicker, almost as if there were a thin layer of oil, though she leaves no residue when touched. She is, as is her entire species, capable of producing a special type of sweat from glands all over her body. This slimy substance can be used for a variety of things, from insulation to heat, and even electricity, to expelling dirt from her body, meaning no one from her species needs to bath to be clean. This material can also protect her against sharp objects, such as swords, cutting her skin.

Her last, easily visible feature is her eyes. They are almost bulging, large, and patterned. Another thing her species is known for are the variety of patterns they can have for their eyes. Their eyes have transparent eyelids, as well as night vision.

Other than this, her species is generally physically weaker than humans, though they have superior agility and reflexes. Their powerful legs and tongues can make up for the loss of direct physical strength compared to humans. While they are extremely quick thinkers, able to beat most humans in contests involving speed thinking, their species is not known for their advancements in the sciences, or any other field for that matter.

Keiko Farogue's Cell is shared with a few other prisoners. The room is crowded, and basic amenities are not provided. The iron bars are rusted from time. The floors and walls are covered in old, dried blood.

Screams can be heard from down the hall where they took the prisoners. No one ever returned, and no one was ever heard from them again. Keiko looked around her cell at her cellmates. Species from all over the universe were gathered here, though Keiko couldn't figure out why. She was simply minding her own business, frolicking around various asteroids that managed to sprout vegetation when, out of nowhere, a group of people descended upon her, knocking her out before she had a chance to defend herself, and dragged her away, leaving her to wake up here, in her new home.

Keiko was terrified. She was happy with her life, dying now would just be pathetic in her eyes. A loud noise startled Keiko out of her thoughts. Several men in airtight suits approached the cell and unlocked the door. Several of the newer prisoners attempted to fight back before the men knocked them out with advanced electrical weaponry. The older members, Keiko included, knew better, and didn't even attempt to resist. Every time these people came to the cell they took a single person. This time it was Keiko's turn.

Keiko let them pull her by the arm. It almost seemed as if they were gentle and kind, based on how they led her. They didn't pull or push her, or yell at her to move, but she still knew better than to attempt to flee. A few moments later they brought her to a mostly barren room. In the center was a chair, similar to a dentist's or barber's chair, with straps. The suited men gently guided Keiko to the chair, where she obediently sat, wondering what her fate was going to be.

The men then left the room. Keiko looked around at the dimly lit room. There was nothing else there but an old light that flickered from the ceiling. Several minutes passed before Keiko's anxiety subsided enough for her to think. It was clear they were going to do something to her. She wasn't sure what they were going to do, but she imagined the worst, as well as the best. At worst, she figured they might try to dissect her, possibly inserting a mind control device after they've studied her body. At the best, she figured she won a strange game show and they were about to give her her prize. The latter option seemed unlikely based on the screams she's been hearing ever since she arrived here.

Hours passed by and nothing happened. It was almost on command, like they were watching, waiting. As Keiko was about to close her eyes and attempt to rest, the door burst open. A large ogre of a man barreled in. He had a massive head, making the small glasses clipped onto his nose almost laughable, even in the dire situation. The man had long, shaggy brown hair. His drab clothes matched his disheveled look. He came stomping towards Keiko with a frightful look in his eyes. As the man neared her he raised his hand, revealing a large needle filled with a purple liquid.

Keiko remembers little after the incident. She woke on the floor, laying sideways, looking at a wall. She could hear screams, though they were different from earlier. She tried to push herself to her feet, pain shooting into her arm. She looked down to see the spot where she had been stuck with the needle. Despite feeling sick, she stood up, taking in her surroundings. She noticed some lights were flickering. She could smell sulfur, as if there were a fire. Oddly enough, she didn't see anyone around, so she decided to wander around as she feebly attempted to understand what was going on.

She turned the corner. The sight was something she would have never imagined. The scene painted a decent enough picture of what was going on. Many of the suited men were dead now, chunks of flesh torn out. The culprits were easy to spot. Large groups of people, all different species, were roaming around, chasing down anyone who wasn't one of them. They didn't look like their original selves though. Other than the blood dripping from their nails and mouths, their skin was green, though a few species showed pale gray skin. Keiko noticed something odd. Non of them seemed to be speaking or communicating in any way. A few grunts and moans, but generally there was nothing to indicate any intelligence.

The mob of sickly people roamed the hall, making their way towards Keiko. Before she knew, the group was upon her. She realized a little too late that this could be the end of her. She glanced quickly to all the dead people. Non of them were green and sickly, and a quick glance confirmed that she wasn't either. Fear welled up inside of her as she began to sweat lightly. The mob grew louder as they grew near. A quick glance confirmed that Keiko had waited too long to react. She was trapped, with no way out. The mob grew louder still. Grunts and groans that lacked murderous intent and intelligence. All that could be heard in their garbled voices was hunger.

Keiko closed her eyes in preparation for her untimely death. Her body tensed, her sweating increased. The noise grew louder and louder until it was a cacophony of gurgled sound around her. She waited still for her death, but it never seemed to come. Neither did the groaning finish. Keiko risked a peek. She saw shuffling bodies all around her, but they paid her no attention. It's like they were being drawn somewhere else.

A few moments later a massive explosion could be heard in the distance followed by gunshots. This seemed to rile the sickly mob, pushing them onward with new vigor. The battle-cries grew louder, as did the variety of weaponry. She could hear shouts now, loud and angry as, she guessed, another group was doing combat with the sickly mob. Terrified, she backed out of the mob, resting her back against the wall. She could now see flashes nearby from weapons, as well as a slew of bodies dropping. Terrified, Keiko slumped to the floor, pushing herself against the wall, hoping to not be seen. As more bodies fell she couldn't help but to sob quietly to herself, wondering when it was she was going to die.

Jay had been sitting in his armour for the last half an hour waiting. The job was simple, take the drugs, and some serum. Get paid for the serum, sell off all the labs drugs and supplies.
Pilot, a grey alien, big black eyes, skinny frame no hair, big head.
His grey name is to inhuman to pronounce, instead opting to be called pilot.
He sounded off on the intercom
“We are arriving in three minutes. Is the strike team ready?”

jay laughed as didna few others. Pilot was still using military terms for some odd reason, they all just rolled with it. Jay was your typical human. Loaded up with alien technology. His friend Mark was also human, they were the captains so to speak. The leaders of this ship, sixteen strong, feared and respected. The savage gang had taken a job by chance. Sixteen men and women of different races all having one thing in common, get rich. Although some were more in it for the friendship. Pilot being one of those, very protective of his brother, Thinker. A weapons genius and the overall bullshit scientist that was exiled from his research groups for doing nothing but work on weapons. Or tools to help use weapons. Jay found a prototype of his magnetic blade and tracked him down, the two are best of friends. Although thinker demands the most money, especially when people use his equipment...

the humans Of the savage gang were loaded and ready. Growd wanted to join, but had no helmet large enough for his rock like exterior. Dinosaur lizard looking thing, not a smart race, easily conquered by humans after trade opened up. Land services and laws for human made “treasures” such as alcohol and music,
Projectile weapons.
Growd was picked up after a mission went wrong. But decided to keep said cargo as it played nice enough.

The task had gone well.
Jay mark and the four men joining them had jetted off the ship. The door was opened with a shaped plasma explosion on a timer. And the noise after was murder. However these ‘doctors’ were armed as well, and pretty soon the captains and a man named shank held the line, killing all in their way. Which seemed to be everything, and whatbhey had killed. As shank opened a door to escape a crowd and reload a fight between him and a sick or.. infected individual attempted at his life.
Jay had used all his grenades, and was now using a hand cannon of thinkers design, mark had his laser rifle out, and they were still backed into a corner.
Mark had to throw a gravity bomb to escape, resulting in a fair large section of the ship experiencing no to little gravity. The bomb went off almost in the middle of the facility.
Joe and mark took to killing and escaping.
“This shit is fucked!”
