A very small, rather frail looking young woman, it's hard to imagine a girl like this is capable of deadly magic. Soft, delicate hands, small femmine facial features, pale skin, and despite the hourglass shape, it looks as if you could break her if your aren't careful. Valeris is very doll like in appearance, which gives a lot of people the wrong impression of her.
Typical equipment:
Old Black Leather Spellbook - A going away gift from her grandmother, it has a lot of information about Necromancy and how to practice it. The book is no bigger than a common journal, but thick. The pages have yellowed woth time, the ornate silver and emerald decorations not what they use to be, it's obvious this book had been through a lot
Brown Leather Spell Book- spell Book that acyully looks like a journal, but inside holds spells, rituals, and many other things about the other schools of magic. Valeris is actually writing this one herself.
Silver Short Sword - A silver short sword that while Valeris doesn't really need, she carries anyway. The sword is well taken care of, as its polished, cleaned, and sharpened often.
Dagger - A small hidden dagger, cause you never know when you might need one.

Personality:
Don't let her appearance fool you, Valeris is a girl you will regret underestimating. On the surface, she seems a little ditsy, a little too kind and trusting. She seems like the type of girl who would bake you cookies and braid your hair if you needed someone to be around. She seems like one of those girls, but here's the truth.
Valeris is very aware of what she's doing, why she's doing it, and will continue to do so because she is a manipulative little thing. While her intentions vary for different people, Valeris grew up in a compatible noble family, so her facade she puts on is all part of the game. She's observant, cunning, extremely intelligent, though she only let's a few people see. Those few people also see the death blunt, cold, and calculating part of her. The part that loves a challange and lives for learning everythinf she can about the world. Shes bond and determined to learn everythinf she can about magic, the past, and maybe even discover something knew. If you're her friend, stick with her. She's a bit of a handful, but worth it, I promise.

- Deathly Afraid of drowning, so she refuses to go into water any deeper than her waist, and hates boat. Absolutly hates them.
- Cannot deal with but either, they are so nasty
- Pretty much only gets about 3-4 hours of sleep a night, so she's tired all the time. Sometimes, it affects her ability to function properly
- Allergic to certain types of feathers, so she will sometimes just randomly come down with a stuffy nose, red face, and sneezing fits.
- Doesn't actually think she has any real friends because of the facade she puts on, but is also afraid to show her real self because she's afraid of looking the people she's "close" to
- Suffers from Imposter Syndrome: Valeris doubts her own accomplishments, not beleive they are truely her's or that she's worthy of them. She suffers from extreme self doubt, and has a fear of being called put as a fake, despite the fact all of her accomplishments she's done by herself, and there's overwhelming evidence supporting this. She also makes sure no one knows she thinks like this, because nobody would understand.

History:
Born to the Noble Odalor of Tiren, Valeris is the youngest child of 7. Two older sisters, and four older brother's, her household was rather competitive. She was raised by maids, nannies, and other caretakers after her mother was done breast feeding her, private schooling starting at the age of five, and combat training starting at the age of 7, she lived a very busy life, even for a young noble lady. When she wasn't training, or doing school work, her mother would teach her ettiquie, how to act like a lady. Refined and elegant, one lesson that also stuck with Valeris is to never let anyone see your true self, it can only lead to disadvantages. And she recognized this as true during the parties, and many other social gathers she was forced to attend. People were less likely to shear their secrets to someone like her, so the ditsy facade Valeris has perfected was developed at a young age.

At the age of 9, her first signs of magic began to show which was a surprise to say the least. Her sisters, and mother were all Arcane, but their inherited magic was weak, so they all were External Arcanes. Her grandmother decided to take Valeris under her wing, being another Blood arcane. While Valeris showed natural skill, it was unrefined, and so her grandmother worked to help her fine what magic she was best at. Illusion And Evocation were good picks, but just like her grandmother, Necromancy is where Valeris found her true calling. She excelled in the dark art, from what little training her grandmother could actually give, Valeris soon gained much wanted attention from her parents.

The years go on as normal, though she's almost alienated from her siblings. Whether it's jealousy or fear, she's not sure. Being a rather notable house in Odalor, Valeris was now never out of the watchful eyes of the other nobles, many wanting her to join their family. Her parents thankfully declined all marriage offers, as most were given when she was still just a child. Anyway, at 12, her father began teaching her the ways of the court, or at least, an in-depth study about how things work, using them to your advantage, how to play the Game. He was pleased to discover she had figured about most of this already. She surprised him, and the two of them would spend an hour each day before time it her grandmother going over how nobles worked.

She enjoyed this life, unlike most of he siblings, since she could deal with the pressure. So, at 15, well technically 16 as it was her birthday, her parents decided they wanted a show of what Valeris could do. And, in true Tiren fashion, it was with a party. Most of what she showed off was illusion, exotic animals and the like. It was, of course, mostly, a showing of power to display the strength of the Tiren House. However, it didn't mean that was all she displayed. During the party, her parents once again called attention to her, and asked if anyone would like to duel. A boy from an allied house stepped forward, and the two of them fought. Or at least, he attempted to. A spell for a deadly chill, and one to induce fear was enough for the boy to forfit. This, along with her obvious skill woth Illusions, the school her parents wanted off of their childern to go to, took an interest in Valeris. Obvious, there was no turning this invitation down.​

History: Not much is known about Zenima prior to him turning 11 years old. Any memories past that point are obstructed despite Zenima’s best attempts to crack it. Growing up, he learned how to fend for himself as he had never met his parents. Joining a mercenary group referred to as the Dawn Rose, he made a name for himself until he turned 15, when his Arcane Blood power awoke. Seizing the opportunity to distinguish himself from his comrades, Zenima took to perfecting and pushing against any boundaries his new magic presented before him. Eventually this earned the attention of Headmaster Richard Ophidian who offered for him to learn about his power at the university. Naturally intrigued, Zenima accepted and made his way to the university in order to figure out how best to use his new gifts, as well as uncover his lost memories.

Rhea can be a generally very energetic girl always trying to prove herself. She always is seeking to have something to do, not being the type who enjoys just sitting around doing nothing or reading being very antsy to move around. The only times she tends to sit still is when she is distracted by food or finds herself napping. She can get a bit of a temper, often throwing a fit if she is teased making her act more brash in response often leading to her causing more trouble. She can be quite stubborn to a fault not being one to simply give up.

Rhea has a desire to fit in, being generally an outcast most of her life. While she seeks the attention and company of others, she has a tendency to be cautious harboring doubt about people's intentions with interacting with her. While she tends to act aggressive and feigns not caring about what others thing about her, the opposite is true as she tends to take reject quite personally and can get very upset about being picked on. As stubborn as she can be, it still can weigh down on her not being able to master things. While often shown as frustration it can drag her down quickly leaving her quite upset in private. She prefers to keep her feelings to herself often lying about her true feelings and finding it hard to open up to others.

Background
Rhea was adopted at a very young age by an elven wizard named Cyran Valqen after the death of her father Niko Eichenwald. Being a family friend he saw it as his responsibility to try and take care of Rhea in her parents stead and protect her given her abnormal nature. The two moved away from the city electing to make a living instead outside of civilization taking up residence in the country side a short distance from a small mostly human village of Esterook. He saw to raise Rhea in part out of a sense of guilt seeing it as a way of redeeming himself and giving the young child a chance.

Growing up, Rhea found herself the center of quite a lot of teasing and bullying. In town she often was teased about her ears by the other children while many of the adults often looked at her pessimistically. Cyran often tried to keep Rhea from town though she always wanted to visit often sneaking her way to town in his cart or pestering him to let her go. Despite all the bullying she still attempted to always play with the other children just happy to have others her age to play around with even if it meant being teased in the process. As she got older Rhea began to manifest her abilities able to elicit the dark aura unintentionally. Cyran was able to notice it and started to teach Rhea basic magic in hopes of having her learn to control it with.... often mixed results. It was clear rather early on that Rhea would have trouble learning magic though Cyran none the less continued to teach her.

Outside magic Rhea learned quite a number of survival skills from Cyran. While a wizard by trade, Cyran was quite knowledgeable with hunting and using the spear, traits he learned at a young age as an elf living out in a much more secluded area, and still hunting for a good portion of the food the two ate in an effort to minimize the need to go to town. Rhea went on many trips into the woods often spending days with Cyran learning the basics of survival and how to provide for herself. It was often on those trips Cyran who also further teach Rhea magic. As the years passed Rhea managed to get a grasp on magic. While she still had issues with control she had greatly improved after so many years of training. Wanting to give Rhea a chance, Cyran managed to use his sway to get Rhea into Rodren University.

Skills
Agile: Rhea is very agile from her time living in the forest from hunting and climbing. She can be quite flexible as well, fitting into places that might normally be more difficult to get to. She is very quick on her feet when she needs to be.
Strength: Rhea has shown herself to be quite strong given her size. She is capable of carrying a good bit of weight and handling things most might have difficulty with. While she isn't going to compete with the most physically adapt person in terms of her physical prowess she can do quite good on her own.
Close Range Combat: While not one who has dealt with duels with people all that much, her experience with a spear for hunting has her quite capable of protecting herself. She knows how to throw a punch of needed to get herself out of trouble. She might not be the most refined, but something is better then nothing
Perception: While she might not like her extra set of ears, they are just one feature that lends itself to her ability to observe things. The ears on her head give her a greater scope of hearing then just her normal human ones, able to pick up more distant sounds as well as being better aquanted to telling the exact direction. She has a rather sharp vision honed in by her eyes. She is good at detecting smell, though not to the point of having a dog light sense of smell, no matter what others might tease her about it.
Survival: Living out in the woods Rhea knows how to manage to spend the night without having much to work with in the wild. She can make a fire if needed without the use of magic and knows many of the basics. She is no expert but if your not looking for a long trek in the wilds without supplies she is more then capable of knowing what to do.

Weaknesses
Rhea is quite unrefined in the way she acts not being organized in her behavior. While she can do things decently well, she tends to act much more brashly rarely planning things through and as such can encounter self created hurdles she has to deal with in the process.

While her extra features can give her some better senses, outside the social stigma they hold they also can cause drawbacks. Her extra ears in particular can be quite sensitive to touch making it quite easy to hurt them if roughly handled. The enhanced form of hearing comes at the cost of certain loud sounds being crippling to her and much more effective on her then a normal person. Having an extra set of ears makes covering her ears that much harder as well requiring more then just her hands to accomplish.

A simple spear mostly made for hunting. The spear is designed to be used either in close range or to be thrown. It can be used one handed although when used as a melee weapon it is best used with two hands.

Due to the nature of her magic, Rhea has control in both learning magic as well as being able to properly control it. Her spells have a tendency to backfire or lose control relatively easy requiring more training for her to minimize such a risk.

Dark Aura
She possess a dark aura, something that can be detected rather easily by those with the ability to do so. Due to her aura, she has a resistance to dark(negative) energy although she is more susceptible to Light(positive) energy. Certain forms of healing magic can potentially harm her rather then heal her.

Personality: Friedrich was always quite a curious fellow, always asking questions about others. Friedrich can come of as a bit rude to some as he usually doesn't sugarcoat things and gets straight to the point. He enjoys messing with others but knows when not to. His playfulness is all in good nature and can get a bit annoying at times. Friedrich rarely gets angry but when he does, it's best not to talk to him. He doesn't know what the word "quiet" means. He is a very religious person.

He was the first in his family to channel energy from this Deity and use it in the magical arts. Since Friedrich was interested in the magical arts his family recommended him go to an university to improve his skills and make use of it. Their, Friedrich hopes to learn skills that would be useful for the people of the realm.

Biography
Lenora was born to two mercenaries who had little qualm slitting a few throats as ling as gold was promised, and that was how Lenora was too in the beginning. The small family was a dangerous group and you Lenora was often sent in first to catch the victim off guard and cripple them so her parents could finish them off. At the time she saw no problem with it, after all her father seemed to enjoy their jobs so in her mind it wasn't anything bad. However one faithful day while the family was in Mesmal her parents were captured and sentenced to death, leaving Lenora both a criminal and an orphan. She mourned for her parents greatly but soon her own money ran out and she took another job, but this time there was no jovial laughter and joking and felt wrong somehow. As she was leaving the house the mans family returned and for the first time Lenora heard the wails of a grieving widow and child, it struck a cord in her and she ran. She ran until her feet bled and the cold air had long since become numb, as she began to falter she saw a beautiful temple nearby and felt compelled to enter. It was a temple for the Deity Sardenth, and looking up at the statue at the calm yet soroful face Lenora cried. She repented for every last one of her crimes, even the ones she could hardly remembered, she begged for forgiveness until her voice went hoarse. Finally as true exhaustion began to overtake her she saw a single blue flower at Sardenth's feet and felt at peace, a feeling she realized she had never known. The worshipers found her passed out and holding the flower not an hour later, when she came to she told everything and they agreed to let her stay and teach her Sardenth's blessings and how to repent for her crimes.

History: A man born from an unlikely union. An elven wanderer and a thief. His mother was a wanderer, having gone through adventure after adventure she was finally looking for a place to settle down. One day she came across a simple thief, handsome he was, a grin that could light up a room, his words were sweet and smooth, he convinced the elf to let him join her. What started out as a way to get some extra coin turned into something else. The two began to fall for one another, and it was soon that the elven woman found herself pregnant with a child. When the child was born, she named her Elric after her father, and Malinus after her lover's family. They settled down in Delorindo. Elric took more after his mother than his father, so he was rather feminine looking for a boy, which lead to much ridicule from the other kids. But it was in his early years that he saw his first magic user, a man came to solve a problem with the town and so Elric got to see him up close. From that day forward Elric wanted to know about the magical arts, so he began to work his way towards going to the university. Through the years he found himself interested in solving mysteries, puzzles, and whatever else he could put his mind to. His mother taught him how to read and write, while his father taught him how to use a knife, lock picking, and how to use their family's natural charm to lie his way through problems. He was also taught how to sneak through buildings without being heard. Once it came time for him to go, his father gave him his old knife from his thieving days, his mother gave him his quill, ink pot, and a journal to write things down in. And with that he was gone, heading towards his future.

-History-
Alex was born into a small household she was the only child of the house for the first few years. Her father ran off when she was relatively young leaving her and her mother alone in the house, no matter how poor the family got and how little money they had Alex always had a meal on the table she never knew how until she was older. Despite all of the hardships Alex still managed to keep a smile on her face and would try to make her mom happy whenever she could. One day when Alex was eight a group of strange men came to the house asking for her mother before she could reply they let themselves into her home Alex's mother came home a couple of minutes later and told Alex to play outside in the forest until sunset that was the last time Alex saw her mother alive when she came home at sundown she found her mothers corpse in her bedroom cut to pieces.

Alex fearing that the men would come back for her ran into the forest taking shelter in the large trees she struggles to live like that for a couple of years until one day a Fey resembling a fox showed itself to her. unknown to her the Fey had been watching over her since she arrived at the forest making sure no animals would come and eat the small girl, the Fey respected the girl for never destroying the forest despite having lived there for a long time so it offered her something a deal for power. The Fey would give her power if she vowed to protect nature wherever she traveled with her power Alex was about to accept when a thought came to her head and she told the Fey that she would agree only if the Fey agreed to never leave her side and to be her friend. The Fey laughed and agreed to give her the power she needed and wanted and over the years she would leave the forest sometimes to learn of the world around her and with the help of the Fey also teaching her things, Alex lived in the forest until the day her letter came on the back of a raven it landed near Alex's little den giving the letter to her Alex heard rumor of the magic school in the past but wondered why she was getting invited to the school. Despite her wanting to stay in the forest the Fey convinced her to go in order to better learn about her magic.

Arcane Contract: Alex has a Contract with a Fey of the forest the promise that she has to uphold is to protect nature with all of her power and in turn, the fey grants her the power to do so there are a few exceptions to the rule such as if nature is destroyed by nature she can't be held at fault.

Personality:
Straightforward, earnest, and wearing her heart on her sleeve, Innes isn't what one typically thinks of when they imagine the daughter of an aristocratic, especially one from as prominent a family as hers. In fact she seems almost at odds with her own social standing, having a distaste for noble entitlement, acting a little too boyish for her position, and often preferring peasant parties to fancy balls during festivals. She's no perfect angel of course, having a short temper, an almost compulsion to side with underdogs, developing crushes far to easily, and probably having some daddy issues, but you can be sure that whatever face she shows you it is her true self.

Innes is exceptionally bad at magic used to manipulate the minds of others. Not only does she have no interest in using such spells, she has no talent for it either.

Innes is terrified of dragons, though she has no good reason to be as far as shes aware of. If she sees an image or statue of one, or even a part of one she starts freaking out. She's also not too comfortable with snakes or lizards either. Anything with scales really.


History:
Innes gave her family quite a shock when she was born, having crimson hair as opposed to the Keith family's historically blonde. Her father Duke Ealdwine was convinced for a long while that she wasn't his but another man's child, and even after she showed signs of the family's arcane bloodline and he had to accept it, he never showed her or her mother the love a father should. Luckily she still had her mother Dutchess Fionnula, who never once blamed her for loosing Ealdwine's favor, her brother, and the many servants in the Keith's palace to provide the love a child needed.

From a young age Innes was schooled as any proper noble girl should be, in the arts (as anyone important in Delorindo should) and the etiquette of being a lady; lessons she cared little for and would often sneak out of to go play with the children in the city. It was on one such occasion that she witnessed a fighting competition and became enamored with swordplay. Her father of course was against her having anything to do with the blade, the Keith family being traditionally mages, as well as the fact that she was a girl. Her uncle on her mother's side caught wind of this however and secretly began teaching her not only fencing but the art of war in general.

As she got older she only continued to disappoint her father with her antics, discovering her preference for women only serving to infuriate him. The day her letter arrived from Rodren University Innes wanted nothing to do with it, eager to continue her martial lessons and fooling around with the town-girls. Her father however had other plans, much to her annoyance.

Personality: Subtle and precise, Sash tries to keep notice off of himself. If he draws attention to himself it is for a purpose. He is frienly to all and tries to take the wants and needs of others into consideration before acting. He does not like being tricked or taken advantage of, and carefully waits and watches for deceptions. He looks for opprotunities to rise in the ranks without making too much of a fuss, believing those in power are less likely to be torn down or screwed over. Well put together and confident, Sash will get what he wants, but will not rush to obtain it.

History: Sash began his life as far as he can remember in a travelling circus. He was named Sash for the ringleader Ralliwav's wife would carry the child about in the sash she wrapped around herself. A child of course can't be in a circus without being useful, so immediately Sash was learning from all the performers. Card tricks, juggling, clowning, and Trapeze were just a part of Shash's repertoire. The post important lessons that Shash felt he learnt was how to speak to others to charm them. How to discover peoples desires and play upon them to advance your own wealth and status. Ralliwav employed all of these tricks to draw people in to his fantastic scams, for on top of owning a travelling circus, Ralliwav was also a con artist. He preyed upon the rich, from the great captains of Mesmal, to the religous leaders of Xandria. As for religion in Sash's life, he learnt of many of the gods from various memberrs of the troupe, but it was the magicians god, Rithmur, who drew Sash in. He was told that luck is all well and good in a gamble, but Rithmur would have you make your own luck just to be sure. The magician taught him how to play cards the smart way, by cheating. As for the stars they were the glittering orbs of hope in the distance, a reminder of the goals in your life and the unknown variables that come up in all aspects of life.

At age 14, Sash learnt an important aspect the con game, subtlety, and knowing your enemy. A high religous figure of Ragdalor who was previously swindled by Ralliwav had traced a con back to Sash and his troupe. He sent a group of Raglaorian soldiers out to slaughter the Ralliwav and any who stand in thier way. It was headed by the experienced general Korvlot who hailed from Skallan. Sash was taking lessons with Ralliwav when a soldier of Korvlot bashed in the door of the caraven, and advanced upon them. In Sash's panic, a deep swelling of power surged through him and out of his hands creating a powerful burst of starlight aimed straight at the soldier. The soldier blinded, Ralliwav had enough time top regain his wits and lash out with a knife he pulled form his coat, driving it into the gaurds head and pushing past him. He made it nearly ten paces before being cut down by a soldier on horseback. Korvlot had been watching and saw the burst of magic come from the young Sash, decided there would be no wasted potential this day, and spared the boy, taking Sash back to Skallan.

Life changed drastically for Sash. He was trained in many weapons, ways of fighting, and tactics of war. Life was now much more serious and subdued than before, and Sash found himself looking up at the stars much more often now. He had seen that Ralliwav was too bold, and it led to his downfall. He did not understand that Korvlot was a smart man, and should not have been messed with, and paid the final price for it. Sash also realized that Korvlot was a powerful ally to have. He was a respected general, and had influence in governmental issues. Korvlot didn't have to con people to make money, he had the status, power, and will to do it through other means. Eventaully it was decided that the training by the Raglorian clerics was not sufficient for further training and Sash was sent off to the Rodren University. The fees were paid in full by Korvlot, who had put his trust in Sash to become a powerful magic user to serve him. Sash did not want to become tied to the man fully, but saw no choice for the moment, and agreed to attend. Perhaps the future will provide an out. Or maybe Sash will have to make and out himself.

Personality: Laelia is friendly enough to strangers, but she will not speak unless spoken to. Similarly, if she doesn’t want to speak to someone she will tell them. Laelia is not one for sugaring up the truth.

Laelia is not the best at expressing herself and finds herself misunderstood on occasion. The same can be said when it comes to the emotions of others, she doesn’t pick up well on more discreet emotions usually. At the same time, she’s not someone who would push her views or opinions on others, often keeping quiet when others disagree with her if it is unimportant. Sometimes, those who know her will refer to her as a walking rule book. Laelia is a big fan of rules and takes even more delight in enforcing them.

In a nutshell: she is quiet but friendly.

History: Laelia grew up in Cythesia and despite some of the things that transpired in those forests it is a place that she loves. She was born to goat farmers. Their miracle child, the only one to survive years of futile attempts and miscarriages. Naturally, Laelia grew up showered with adoration by her parents.

But, as she aged her vision diminished and by the time she was 5 she was entirely blind. This didn’t hinder her much as she was never far from the eyesight of an adult and she got along well with most of the other children in the village. The problem with children is that sometimes they don’t realize the serious ramifications of their actions. Adults also can’t truly keep their eyes on them at all times. The combination left Laelia effectively stranded in the nearby mountain forests. This is how her contract began.

After extensive searching by the village on the behalf of her parents to no avail, she emerged from the forest. She was beaten and bruised from her travels back to the village. She was sickly, tired, and hungry, but also not alone. She was now the host of a being that called itself Nmeyeri. A being that had saved her life, at a cost. Life and power in exchange for shelter and sustenance. She was never the same.

She spent the next few months healing. She didn’t leave her home and one of her parents was always there with her, usually her mother. The local medicine man would come to give her treatments. One of her ears became infected from a deep gash along its length. His advice was to cut away the infection and it was done. Leaving her with one long, elven ear and one short, human-looking ear. Her appearance wasn’t the only thing to change, her vision returned. To a degree, whereas she could not see before she could now see color. Blurred color, but color nonetheless.

Eventually, she recovered completely from her misadventure in the mountains. She moved into adolescence. She forgave the children that had abandoned her and reconnected with the ones that had always been her friends. She experimented with her powers and did what she could for her parents. Although, most days she would be found hiking the very forest she had once been lost in or working under the wing of the local peacekeeper. The former is where she got her nickname Orion, the hunter. Not only was she surprisingly stealthy, but she was also good at tracking people down.

When Laelia received the letter from Rodren University it was her mother that had to read it out to her, a little to Laelia’s annoyance and much to her displeasure. At first, she decided to toss away the letter, ignoring the invitation completely. But, news travels fast in a small village like hers. Everyone she encountered congratulated and encouraged her to do well in her studies at school. Eventually, after a lecture from the peacekeeper, she accepted the invitation.

Personality: Phaedra resembles that of a loyal knight, having an abundance of loyalty to those who are deemed worthy as well as having courage towards dangerous encounters. She tends to have trust issues because of her past and isn't any good at socializing. She isn't one to start up a conversation unless she directly wants something from you, i.e. information. Emotions aren't her strong suit either, she tends to just hide or push down her emotions as they usually just get in the way. Occasionally, however, she can be emotionally stunned or surprised to the point where she's not sure what to do. For example, she doesn't have any experience with romance so if someone was to flirt with her she might sorely confused.
Phaedra may not talk a lot personally, but she will often give her advice on a situation if it pertains to her. She tends to like helping people in need, but if it's too much trouble she might back away in order to keep herself safe (unless someone important to her is involved).

History:
Phaedra was born of the middle class in Antum City; growing up while constantly surrounded by the great military force helped inspire the blossoming girl to be a great warrior. With the powerful presence always looming around her, Phaedra was always working towards greatness. Fighting with sticks as swords with her friends and building obstacle courses to go through were some of the many things she did as a child. However, as she grew older so did her skill and expertise. Of course, she was still that of a child but she took it very seriously, and with her determination she would eventually get into the official warrior training. Surrounded by adolescents, she was trained by professionals and learned the art of fighting and other useful techniques to increase one’s survival.

The time finally came that Phaedra, and her closest friends, would take their final trial to becoming a true warrior. In order for Phaedra to be classified as a warrior, under Antum City, she would have to go on a mission with a group. The mission’s varied since they were actual missions, but they usually were decently achievable. The group was informed to investigate a nearby town that has been having issues with some sort of creature. Supplied and ready, the small group of soon-to-be warriors headed towards the town. The group arrived on time, but, to the group’s surprise, the town was completely empty. To make matters worse, there was blood traces throughout the town but no bodies. Initially spooked, Phaedra advised the group to head back to their home and inform what they’ve seen since it seems to be worse than first predicted. However, the rest of her team was stubborn and cocky, believing they could figure out the mystery of what happened here and solve it themselves.

They headed into the forest to begin their investigation eventually finding nothing and setting up camp for the night. Later that night, the group was awoken by screams; those screams originating from Phaedra in the clutches of the beast as it tore her limb from limb. Her team managed to stop the beast from tearing everything but her arms as they started their attack, but they were quickly and easily defeated. Being killed one by one in front of the deadly wounded Phaedra. In a mere minute her entire team was brutally killed by the beast with only herself left and bleeding out. Before Phaedra could blackout from the blood loss, a figure appeared before her and asked her a question, “Do you want to be saved?” to which she responded yes.

Phaedra woke up some time after, still laying in the forest surrounded by blood, however she was no longer bleeding nor dead herself. To her confusion, the being from before appeared to finalize his agreement that he made with her. She was to harbor the being and simultaneously make him stronger by fighting, while he provided her with strength and a new set of arms. Feeling she had no other options, she agreed and made a contract with a demon. Unfortunately, the demon had to erase her memories due to the severe trauma she had experienced, reshaping her mind to think more positively of himself and their contract.
