Spoiler: Story

A mysterious villain has somehow turned Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends on each other, and now they're in an all out war against each other. While the former friends are waging a war against each other, the mysterious villain is awaiting their right time to strike and take over Mobius. Which side will prevail in the war? Will the two factions ever become friends again? Find out in this tale of betrayal, war, and friendship.

Over the years, Sonic the Hedgehog has made many friends, and they've been friends for a long time. However, a while ago, something happened that caused Sonic and his friends to turn on each other. The gang split into two factions, and are now at war against each other. The first side, led by Sonic, controls the west side of Green Hill Zone, while the second side, led by Knuckles, controls the east side of Green Hill Zone. Green Hill Zone, which was once a beautiful and peaceful location, was now a barren wasteland that was constantly on fire due to the gang's warfare in the place. The two sides were battling it out for more territory around the world, both trying to emerge victorious in the sudden conflict.

A bunch of Sonic's soldiers were battling it out with Knuckles' soldiers, firing guns at each other as artillery was fired across Green Hill Zone. Planes sporting the Sonic logo were flying across Green Hill Zone, as they bombed Knuckles' soldiers. Quite a number of Knuckles' soldiers were killed in the bombing, but quite a number of Knuckles' soldiers managed to survive the bombing as well by diving into the trenches to escape the bombing.

"Why did Sonic and his friends start this war anyway? It is insane!" One of Knuckles' soldiers said to a fellow soldier.

"I don't know, but I hope this war stops soon, because it is simply pointless!" The other soldier replied as he looked up to the sky, seeing more of Sonic's planes flying over them.
