How this works:
Minor Characters can only follow the "Hero" or "Dark" storyline
Major can follow the "Hero" "Netureal" or "Dark"

Storylines:

• Hero: In this storyline the character is fully good. If both Sonic and Shadow take this storyline they both work together to take down Exe.
• Neutral: This storyline means the character will do both good and bad.
• Dark: This storyline is for "Team Shadow" and "Team Sonic.EXE" only. This story follows them as villians.
• Chaos: BOTH SONIC AND SHADOW MUST TAKE THIS ONE! Chaos Storyline is where Sonic and Shadow both suffer from amnessia. The two teams do not get along, and this results in possible manipulation from Sonic.EXE over Sonic and Shadow.
• Balance: This storyline is the same as Chaos but the two teams decide to work together to help Sonic and Shadow regain their memories.
• Demonic: In this Storyline, Sonic.EXE will end up killing both Sonic and Shadow, but for some reason is unable to demonitize them. The two teams team up to find a way to revive Sonic and Shadow (Storyline not open unless no one decides to play Sonic or Shadow.)
• God: This storyline will have elements from Hero, Chaos, and Balance storyline. Sonic and Shadow lose their memories and while the two teams are unable to find themselves coropirating, Sonic and Shadow form a two man team.

Abilities-

Genius-level intellect-To the point where, when presented with new/foreign technology, even if it is an advanced kind, Tails only needs to take a few looks to understand it. Once he develops that understanding, he'll excel at said technology, and...with his knack for building things...all that has made him a skilled inventor and natural-born mechanic. One that is as talented as Dr. Eggman.​

Flight-Tails has two, twin tails that can twirl like a helicopter's rotary blades, even spinning fast enough that they'll generate enough lift to let him fly/hover like said helicopters. His airborne movement has outstanding agility and speed, which let him somewhat keep up with Sonic for short periods. The problem is that he gets fatigued if he tries going for longer than those short periods.​

Propeller Tails-By spinning his tails behind, he can greatly increase his ground/underwater speed. They've been known to be able to spin strong and fast enough to slice through metal.​

Prehensile Tails-He has, at least, picked up a toothpick before with one of his tails.​

Speed bursts-His normal on the ground speed is fairly normal, but he's had an occasional burst of speed in the initial moments of panic, or fear, inducing moments. Such as diving for cover during thunderstorms.​

Name- Shard the Metal Sonic

Age- The oldest Metal Sonic model

Forms-

• Super Form(?): It’s entirely possible that, as with the other Metal Sonic models, Shard would be able to enter some manner of super form if exposed to the seven Chaos Emeralds or the Master Emerald. Shard has not yet attempted this feat.
• Titan Metal Sonic: In one of his previous incarnations Shard was able to use the power gem and become Titan Metal Sonic. However, it’s unlikely he’d be able to go into this form again. Still, unlikely doesn’t mean it’s entirely impossible either.

Abilities-

• Rocket powered speed: He wouldn’t be a metal Sonic if he couldn’t match the blue blur’s speed after all
• Flight: It’s a bird, it’s a plane, It’s Shard!
• Spin Dash: Shard may be a robot but he can curl into a pokey ball of pain just like any other hedgehog.
• Power Gem core: What keeps Shard ticking. Though powerful, even this gem has its limits as if he over uses it his powers will be weakened and he’ll be forced to rest in order to recover that power. Furthermore, if the gem were to somehow be broken Shard would be put down for good.
• Built in infrared vision/scanner: Shard can scan for traps, prints, and other sorts of information that may not be visible to the organic eye.
• Auto repairing abilities: Using the power gem’s strength, Shard can repair his body to a certain extent. However this is taxing on his gem’s core and thus limits him from using his other abilities
• Plasma Cannons: That arm canon isn’t just there to look pretty
• Adaptive arm: Shard can transform his cannon arm into other things such as an cord, a hammer, a drill, and other such weapons
• Literally a Robot: He’s a robot
• Stealth: Shard was apart of the Secret Freedom Fighters, a covert organization meant to protect The kingdom of Acorn from the shadows. Thus if need be he can keep quiet and hide from view.

• Shard can be described as cocky, playful, and easy going. He isn’t afraid to joke and jest during important missions much to the ire of his teammates. Still, he’s rather insecure about his existence as a robot and prior enemy to Sonic. One of his biggest goals is to change the perception of what it means to be a Metal Sonic in the eyes of the public
• His overall backstory is inspired by the Sonic OVA

Spoiler: Shard’s Backstory for those unfamiliar

Shard’s had quite the past. He was one of the first Metal Sonic’s built by Doctor Robotnik, used to kidnap a certain Amy Rose, using her as bait for the real blue blur. He and Sonic raced along Stardust Speedway for the fate of Amy. As always, Sonic won the race and the Metal Sonic was left broken and defeated. This wouldn’t put him out of commission for long as in order to stop the chaotix, Robotnik repaired Metal Sonic and gave him a power gem, allowing him to transform into the monstrous Titan Metal Sonic. Nigh unstoppable, it’d only be thanks to Knuckle’s own use of the power gem that Metal Sonic would be stopped.

However, the power gem still remained inside of the Metal Sonic and thus his body would eventually be able to repair itself. Faster and stronger than ever, Metal sought to bring an end to Sonic, kidnapping Tail’s and trapping him in an active volcano. Thus Sonic had to race against the clock to save his friend before he’d be cooked by lava. All the while Sonic tried to get it through to the robot that he didn’t have to be like this, that power alone wasn’t all there was to existence. Metal wouldn’t understand until the newly freed Tails risked his own life to stay by Sonic’s side, even when he could have easily flown away and saved himself. This seemed to be what finally got through to Metal as in his first and seemingly final act of heroism he sacrificed himself by physically holding back the lava with his own body. He’d be submerged under the hot lava and buried.

That would’ve been the end for him, should’ve been the end for him. But, Metal Sonic still continued to live on through his power core which remained in tact despite all that happened. This core would be recovered and given to Uncle Chuck, who’d use its data to design a line of robotic Sonics to act as an army, though those all would eventually be destroyed after going haywire. Nevertheless the Power Gem still remained.

After some time Uncle Chuck would utilize the Power Gem once more. Collecting the parts and limbs of prior destroyed Metal Sonics, Chuck rebuilt Metal Sonic from the ground up. Thus he was given new life and a new name along with it, Shard the Metal Sonic. Soon after his creation he’d be handed off to Harvey Who in order to join the Secret Freedom Fighters, an organization formed after Naugus took over as the ruler of New Mobotropolis. While apart of the team he’d help track down Geoffrey St. John, Naugus’ apprentice, and gather information to put a stop to Naugus’ plans. In the end they did, Shard along with the rest of the team would stop Naugus from mind controlling the entire Council of Acorn.

Eventually he’d meet Sonic the Hedgehog once again, this time not fighting against him but fighting with him against the Krudzu Hybrid Hydra. It took some quick explanations and having to deal with warranted confusion and distrust from the hedgehog but eventually Shard made his case that he was an ally and genuinely wanted to help even if he couldn’t say why or who he was working for. Once he got his point across he’d help sonic defeat the weed.

After this he’d return to New Mobotropolis, he still wouldn’t show himself to the public. Instead, he began spending time with Nichole, finding solace in their mechanical similarities. He knew that normal mobians would surely be scared of him, considering the fact he was a Metal Sonic and had in the past had tried to kill the real Sonic multiple times. However as much as he longed for friends or even family, Shard was satisfied with having a friend in Nichole.

Another Metal Sonic would eventually be rebuilt by Doctor Robotnik and sent to deal with Shard. This one with another power gem core just like Shard’s own. One on one they two robots fought each other as Shard tried to appeal to Metal that he didn’t have to be this way. However, when that showed to be impossible, Shard concluded he had no choice but to take his “Brother” down. It was a heated battle but the newer Metal Sonic had the edge. Shard realized that he couldn’t win this fight and in an act of sacrifice, got the Metal Sonic to self destruct, with him being in the crossfire. Lying broken, battered, and his gem cracked, he sent an emergency message to Nichole before powering down soon after.
