She’s a very quiet person upon first glance, but that doesn’t mean she’s shy by any means. In her head she had a thousand things to say, and she’s said them all to anyone who will listen. She’s also an incurable romantic though only her closest friends recognize this about her. Combined with her age this makes her very naive when it comes to relationships.

She hadn’t grown up experiencing too much of the real world. For most of her life she’d grown up in a ridiculously small town, where she’d only really went out for school, and friend’s houses.

She used to be a talkative child, but she was critiqued for it by her parents who were of the opinion that “Children are to be seen and not heard.” Since then she’d always been uneasy, talking to authority figures or strangers.


She was the town darling, since she got the highest grades, and kept her mouth shut. She made the town even more proud when she got accepted into an out of state University.

Since she was on her own with no job, she decided to start working for the coffee shop, and hopes that like in the stories she’ll fall in love there.

He grew up in a rougher part of the neighborhood, where everyone was supposed to fight and be mean to one another. He always found himself inside, staring out at flowers or birds. He was never one for fighting, so that made him a target for local bullies. Sebastian never liked fighting, but despite the rumors he was not a coward. Ended up with a scar across his face while he was in high school. Moved away from his rough neighborhood as soon as he was old enough and started working at the coffee shop. He stays in the back so people don’t see him, but he likes watching their smiles when they eat the stuff he makes. Hopes maybe some day he’ll be accepted. Maybe someone won’t be scared of him.

Back in the lower grades, she would act up and hardly ever do work which got her in trouble a lot. After she failed the fifth grade and her mom said something to her, Ellet turned over a new leaf. She started working harder and staying away from people so that she didn't fall in with the wrong crowd again. After graduating from school, she started working as a freelance journalist to get the word out since her brother was never reported on.

He's a lot of fun to be around because he tries to make sure that all of his friends are enjoying themselves as much as he is. That said, he does love to be the center of attention. He's extremely comfortable in his own skin and loves to wear fairly out-there and non gender-conforming clothes. He would never try to tone himself down because he believes that everyone deserves to just be their true self and they should never feel ashamed.

Rome was born in Russia to a single mother. He has a younger sister, and they lived with their mother until Rome was 15. They were very poor but were supported by Rome's uncle, his mother's brother. However, when Rome's uncle was given the opportunity to move to the United States and to take a job earning good money, his mother insisted that his uncle take Rome and his sister with him so that they could have a better chance at living a good life. Despite how his uncle has supported them, he does not support Rome's... lifestyle, namely being gay and choosing to express himself in abnormal clothes and occasionally makeup. Throughout high school Rome was made fun of for struggling to speak English, as well as being unapologetically flamboyant. Rome never let those people get to him, and now he's fluent in English, even if he has a fairly strong accent. He works at the coffee shop both to escape from his uncle and so that he can earn enough to move away and pursue a career that he'd actually be interested in.

Sometimes she goes to different coffee shops with her guitar to sing for some money, most of her songs are inspired by emotions people have a hard time describing. Aarohi is a very emotional person, not in the cry baby sense, but in the way where she is extremely in tune with her emotions and speaks clearly about how she feels, what she wants, and why she wants/feels like this. She later then dropped out of high-school because of her skipping all the time. She found a job at a small flower shop and has moved in with a friend for the time being. To clear her head of her responsibilities and financial problems, she goes to a coffee shop nearly every day to drown herself in caffeine. She loves that stuff. Energy drinks, coffee, you name it. She considers herself a caffeine junky.
