//Luna interacting with kitchen peeps, Pride jump. jump. , Fennorian DovahBeat DovahBeat . Kaiya interacting with Jill Specialist Specialist , Luna.

Sensing a disturbance, Luna jerked her gaze towards the common room. She seemed to know what had happened. I shouldn't have left them alone... she thought to herself, before turning back to Pride. "Yes, that should be enough. Here are the ingredients I recommend for each individual taste, and I'll be right back..!" Placing the assorted berries on the counter, in containers labelled by flavor--sweet, dry, spicy, sour, bitter, and neutral--she rushed back to the living quarters while Bella was left to help the others.
When she entered, she saw Fennorian keeping his distance, and Pika still sparking slightly while Veena tried to calm him. "Pika!" she cried in shock, picking up the small electric mouse before he could do any more damage, and looking back at Fennorian. "Did he hurt you? Oh my Arceus, I am so, so sorry, sir!" she apologized profusely, bowing in an apologetic manner, "I should not have left him alone, or warned others not to get too close... he's not very friendly, but won't go in his Pokeball..."
Pika growled slightly, cuddling up to Luna protectively, huffing as she turned to face him. "You should know better, not to attack others, especially when I'm not here," she scolded, looking more concerned than angry. "Pika, pika pika pikachu!" Pika rebutted, shaking his head. "Pikachu!"
Luna sighed, shaking her head again. "I know, he mentioned science stuff, but... he's not gonna hurt us, Pika. He didn't know you didn't want to be touched. You need to apologize."
Giving a huff of annoyance, Pika hopped down from Luna's arms, crossing his own and facing towards the side. "Pika..." he grumbled, but complied anyway. "Pika, pikachu."

Kaiya watched the commotion as Jill re-entered the room. Turning her head to the android, she smiled and nodded slightly. "Thanks, Jill," she said, "I'm sure the others will appreciate it as well."
She looked back towards the Pokemon and Luna, sighing. "I'm glad I wasn't the first one to try and make contact with that... Pikachu, it was called?" she said, her tone full of relief, "Although, I do feel bad for Fennorian. Poor guy got zapped. I guess it's the same principle that you ask before petting someone else's dog... but these creatures--er, Pokemon-- can give the consent themselves?" That was still confusing for the ghoul... as she had never seen anything like that happen before, especially with electricity. Perhaps these creatures... weren't as similar to animals as she thought.

She smiled when Pride was attempting to thank her, but he suddenly pulled away. Head down, eyes focused on Tyler instead. She frowned and tilted her head. What was… wrong? He even started to thank her, so, what was wrong? Her touching him? First it was the smile, now it’s touch…? Okay, that’s okay. Plenty of people didn’t like being touched. He appreciated the words.

As he jerked away, she brought her hands to her chest, holding each other and pressing them against her chest, dejected…

I’m sorry, I didn’t know.” She tried to keep her tone smooth and even, it was hard. It was hard to feel emotions. In the realm outside of Heaven, she’s had to experience and deal with such negative and hurtful emotions. She was feeling some negative emotion. He didn’t have sin in his heart, but it was clearly filled with something else negative.

It was a heavy and thick emotion, whatever it was. Seeping out of him, surrounding him, clinging angrily to him. It made her feel such sadness. He wasn’t the only one though, was he? Her eyes wandered between Luna and Fennorian.

As she let Pride leave and bring the ingredients to Luna, she then eyed everyone she could. Not everyone had as extreme emotions, and those that had heavy emotions felt different. Everyone was different. She sighed in almost content, she enjoyed being around such new environments and people.

But why was it all pain? Why did they have to live through such hardships before death…? She was feeling overwhelmed. She wanted to spread kindness, but she felt…

Her cheek tickled, and she rubbed at her face, to find it wet. Tears? She was crying? She coughed and tilted her head down, how could she spread kindness if she was crying? She didn’t want anyone to know… She blinked the tears away, gently trying to wipe them with her sweater sleeve. She didn’t want to smear her face and irritate it, her skin was sensitive. Just more and more unexpected affiliations with having a real body of sorts, leaving Heaven.

She felt someone touching her too, Oh, it was Luna. She looks back and sees a Gardevoir. Speaking to her, and Luna translates for her. The pokemon… was thanking her? Pokemon didn’t seem to interact with her directly too often, if they were another person's pokemon. Luna explains how Gardevoir would protect her with her life, likely.

Her heart just swelled at this, the tears were easier to blink away with this news. “A great- blessing!” She still hiccuped, crying was… tiring? She felt slightly sleepy? Unexpected. “As long as I’m here, I’ll do my best for everyone! Okay Bella?” She Smiled at the pokemon, and rubbed her own face gently, happily.

She cleared her throat, “I’m.. more of a pacifist though. I’m afraid the only fighting I can participate in might be a pokemon battle. I am Kindness, after all. I want to make sure everyone is happy, I think we can all get along and be peaceful! No fights!

(:< That was more like it. He pulled away from Millie and looked at him instead. He smiled up at him happily, tail swaying just as happily!

Oh. But when he jerked away from Millie, that was enough of a movement to shift Tyler too.

Wahh!” He cried out as he fell past Pride instead, and landed on the floor below them. He huffed from his spot on the ground, once again not hurt from his fall. Thankfully.

He doesn’t fall very fast, it’s almost like slow motion. He felt kind of cool. Despite being embarrassed from his fall still regardless. He wraps his blanket tighter and looks at Millie.

She dared touch Pride and then look away at other people when he fell? ):<

Millie was so mean. Millie was going to get a bite if she kept this up. Tsk tsk. ):< … ): He was on the floor.

  • Aida simply nodded to Luna's explanation, not completely understanding it but being much less confused than he had been before. To the Gardevor's greeting, he gave a small nod of greeting.

Though, Luna soon had left temporarily after the ingredients were gathered, and he had missed whatever happened between Pride and Millie because the latter was crying, and the little mouse boy had fallen, though he didn't seem hurt as he looked to his...deer friend? It was probably best to ask though.

"You guys okay?" He asked, to well, most in the room. He had picked up on the slight shift in mood, and was almost concerned about the possibility of Phantoms coming about. They pretty much came from negativity, usually unseen by the living much like he himself and the gods. He didn't see any now, but the vibe he was getting was odd. It wasn't anything major, so if any phantoms were to pop up they'd likely be small enough to be considered mostly harmless.

By now, Millie had begun to stop crying, calling herself Kindness and claiming that she wanted everyone to get along and not fight. At this he tilted his head.

"Don't want to burst your bubble, but with all the people here a fight or two might happen." He countered simply. It was a fact of life, really. He's seen gods in the same room who argued like cats and dogs on the few occasions he was allowed to go to a meeting in the Heavens.

He didn't like it much, but some of the other Regalia he could tolerate and the food was alright. Some of the gods there didn't have a stick so far up their asses either, but those were few and far between.

As Jill reentered the room, she was met with a hurried apology from the man who had presumably been shocked, turning to watch as he fled the room with a slightly puzzled expression. Turning back to Kyria, she nodded with another smile. "You're very welcome, Kyria. I'm sure Fennorian will be just fine; he didn't know any better. I was unaware these.. Pokemon, appear to be elementally inclined. They seem to possess much more sentience than they are attributed. I would even go so far as to even say Humanlike. Are they native to where you are from?" Jill asked, only stepping closer so only as to leave the path to the kitchen unobstructed.

"Ah yes!" Hartmann exclaimed. "Metalbending you say? I have not heard of such but bend the metal such that the crack closes, and we can be on our way to the cabin." He told the Japanese-looking man. He then glanced back to his comrades, whom were warmed by the fire the Royal Knight created.
"Kertz! Get over here, once this casing gets repaired we're gonna have to start up Stefan!" He shouted. Kertz picked himself up and made his way over to his tank, and fellow man.

  • Yaru tilted his head at Hartmann's response, but it more or less clicked after a second. At least, he was under the impression they had two different ideas going on in their heads, so maybe he should of explained it a bit earlier.

"Metalbending is the process of bending the pieces of Earth in metals." He explained, taking a closer look at the casing, his free hand lifting, he moved to close his fingers into a fist in an attempt to close any cracks in the metal, and if needed would use the small flame in his hand to ensure the cracks were closed.

"Bending the elements is something most can do where I'm from, though it's usually one element and if someone is skilled enough, they can learn the sub skills to that element. I can bend multiple elements, as the Avatar. Metalbending is a sub skill I'm relatively new with." He added while checking over his work to make sure he didn't possibly damage anything.

"I can explain the whole Avatar thing back at the cabin." He spoke after a moment of quiet. It would be better to go more in depth once they were all in a safer and warmer environment.

What...? He startled as a soft thump sounded, pulling himself out of his thoughts and back to the present, where Tyler was now on the ground. When had that happened? Had he fallen at some point? Was he okay? He hadn't been paying attention, too wrapped up in his stupid thoughts and discomfort and-

"You okay?" He crouched down to pick Tyler back up, holding him in the air for a moment as he scanned the mouse boy's body for any sign of injury. Nothing. He was unharmed. That was good. He set Tyler down on the nearest counter, beside the ingredients he'd picked out, and a series of... Containers? He hadn't noticed them before either. Was that Luna's doing? Someone had spoken to him, but he hadn't been listening. Shit, he really needed to pay better attention to things. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to cook, if he kept getting distracted he could cause a fire, or burn something...

He sighed heavily, leaning back against the counter, letting his eyes wander around the room. A few people had disappeared, presumably to the common room, where there seemed to be some sort of commotion going on. His gaze lingered on the doorway for a moment before pulling back, eyeing Millie again.

Oh. She was wiping at her eyes. Had she been crying? Was- Was that his fault? He'd pulled away, been ungrateful... He hadn't meant to upset her. He should apologize, but she was talking to that strange creature, he didn't want to interrupt-

"...Kindness?" He spoke up suddenly, eyes widened slightly, pushing himself away from the counter. "The Kindness?" Was that why she seemed so familiar? She was an angel? A virtue? Did that mean she knew what he was? Who he was? Rubbing at his arm, he pulled his eyes away from Millie, glancing over at Aida as he spoke up, offering a sheepish nod in response to his question. He wasn't sure how to respond otherwise... The others had been more engaged than he was. It'd probably be better to let them speak instead.

"No, not native to Tokyo at all. I have no idea where that girl-Luna, I think her name is?--is from, but... definitely a strange world. I didn't know that little mouse was electric, either..." Kaiya said, eyeing the strange creatures. "Although... I do wonder how many volts went into him..." she said a little quieter, hoping no one would answer her morbid curiosity.
Her gaze also went over to the grass-type who was still trying to make sure Fennorian was alright, as well as the small Zorua playing together. "And I also wonder what exactly they can do." She turned back to Jill, "shall we try interacting? They seem... much more friendly."

Giving another apologetic bow to Fennorian, Luna looked back towards the kitchen. "I hope they’re doing alright in the kitchen… I did leave some ingredients, but Bella should be able to handle it,” she said, continuing to hold Pika before looking back to Fennorian. “Still, I should have known something might happen, and shouldn’t have left him unsupervised. Veena, can you go tell the others I’ll be in here for the time being, and if they need anything, to let me know?”
The Leafeon nodded in response before trotting off to the kitchen, but not before making sure Tricki was doing okay.
“At least Tricki seems to be having fun,” Luna mused, sitting down as she looked at the two Zorua playing. A shiny and an oddly colored one, both misfits in their own way. At least there were more people than she thought that would take care of them, and not just look for them for being different. Just like what I needed when I was a kid, and what Mewtwo and the Pokémon on Mount Quena helped me with. Lost in thought now, she gave a slightly vacant smile, while Pika still sparked slightly in annoyance.

Bella, still in the kitchen and listening to Millie, gave a soft smile and curtsied, hand on her chest again in response to her.
“Garde, gardevoir. Voir,” she spoke, happy that Millie wanted to make sure there were no fights. Of course, the situation that caused Luna to exit the room told her otherwise; that the fighting would not be completely unavoidable.
Looking over at the door when Veena entered, Bella gave another small smile when she saw her.
“Lea leaf, leafeon!” Veena barked as she entered the kitchen, looking at Millie and Bella specifically for the most part. Naturally, Bella seemed to understand, nodding back at the small doglike Pokemon. However, when she saw Tyler on the counter, she put her paws up on the handles of a drawer to be able to get taller, hopefully tall enough to check on him. “Lea lea?” she asked, as if asking if he was alright.
Bella, however, had other plans. She went over to the counter, standing slightly to the side, tapping the tops of the containers with the labels to motion for the others to read them. Many humans and other beings couldn’t understand Pokémon speak, which was a slight drawback, but she could communicate in other ways. Like motions. Hopefully they’d understand, or get Luna to help…

Hartmann listened to what this "Avatar" had to say and explained what bending of the elements was. "Amazing..." But the mention of explaining everything back at the cabin made him switch back on task. "I cannot explain my...gratitule? No, no...Gratitude! You all deserve a favor, and a favor you will get. When the time is right, that is. Sir, Would you like to ride atop the tank on the way back?"
Kertz, the driver, began screwing a hand-crank into a slot on the lower portion of the Tiger 1. "Hartmann, Ich startet den Motor." Kertz spoke, as he began to turn the crank.
There was a low whirring sound as the pole began to turn a heavy flywheel, located aftest of the engine. Hartmann quickly ushered himself over and pushed a small pin, which then connected the spinning heavy flywheel to the crankshaft. In turn this started up the pistons and then the engine came to life.
The engine roared to life before black smoke bursted from the two aft exhaust pipes. Kertz quickly put away the pole and smiled.
The rest came over, after the fire was put out. "We will go now." Hartmann spoke after Kertz placed a hand on the lad's shoulder. "Are you coming with us?"

(Even by today's standards, The HL230 engine could be started before itself even made a full rotation, which is pretty damn impressive by todays' standards."

  • "Oh, you don't have to do me any favors or anything like that. As long as everyone's safe is enough. By the way, name's Yaru." Yaru spoke up almost sheepishly, though when asked if he wanted to ride on top of the tank he blinked.

"I wouldn't mind it." He answered. He'd only been in a car a handful of times, including the two times he had tried to be behind the wheel, though he's never been in (or on) a tank; he's seen a few of them in things such as pictures and museums, mostly.

"In fact, if any snow needs to be cleared up along the road I could probably do it from up there too." He thought aloud. Hopefully it'd make it easier for the others on their modes of transportation that way. The storm hadn't let up so far, and he was more than ready to head back.

"I suppose it is just like interacting with any other animal? This should be quite interesting."

Having seen the display of quite literal power from the yellow rodent, she wouldn't want Kaiya to suffer physical harm trying to interact with the creature; electing to step over with a curt nod and move to place herself a comfortable distance from the huddled yellow ball of fur. Kneeling slowly, she relaxed her posture as much as she could with her arms down and at her sides, calling softly over to the huddled Pikachu. "Hello, Pikachu. My name is Jill, I am an RX-300 Android built by CyberLife industries. I was wondering- would you like to be friends? Can I get you anything to eat?" It was worth a shot, at least. If they did indeed communicate in their own language, perhaps there would be some way to obtain a basic understanding.

She looked over at Aida, dejected. “I believe we can survive in peace and harmony for a short while…” Why can’t they just hold faith? Why can’t they pretend and not fight? Humans were so… She sighs. “I can get between anyone who is fighting…” She can sacrifice herself, it would be okay. She couldn’t die, so if she got hurt, it would be okay.

Oh, she looks back at Pride. He didn’t seem excited to know she was kindness… Was there a problem? “Yes, that’s me! The kindest of the virtues we like saying.” She chirped, still rubbing her face and trying to smile. If he was worried about her being kindness, she would have to show him there’s nothing to be afraid of. Kill them with kindness, they say!

She nods appreciatively to Bella. She didn’t know what she was saying, but she seemed happy too. No fights, kindness, everyone will be okay. Veena was approaching too. Seemingly cautious, but then checking on Tyler. What happened to Tyler?

She steps over to Bella instead, to help her with the labels. It was certainly time to start making soup! She picks and chooses containers as Aida speaks.

Oh, I might be going overboard with the kindness thing. Blessed, kindness, it’s all.. Part of my normal vocabulary. At least, it used to be. Now I can… say what I want?” She shrugs. The afterlife was different now. She wasn’t… important. Anymore. They’re all on the same level, so to speak. “Us virtues used to be close to the top. The only ones higher other than our Father were the Cherubim. So it’s quite often to get a response so strongly as-” She looks at Pride, “I’m sorry. I don’t think I caught your name…

She were explaining it’s common to have people know who she was, but it was finally now she realized he never introduced himself. Wait- that wasn't her original point. Her point was, they weren't anymore. She wanted to show that she shouldn't be imposing, if she's quite literally on the same level now. No fear, she just wanted to spread kindness.

Well, that and, the same level means free. To make her own decisions, speech, language, likes and dislikes.

Kaiya watched as Jill began to approach the electric mouse and his friend. The girl seemed friendly enough, but the rodent itself was… a bit aggressive.
Hoping Jill didn’t get shocked either, as she was electrical, Kaiya also began to approach, quickly glancing back at Fennorian. He had seemed… scared. Obviously from the shock, she reasoned. “Careful,” the ghoul warned, “he doesn’t seem to like people.”

Luna sighed at Kaiya’s statement, giving an apologetic smile. “Once you get to know him, he’s a real sweetheart. A bit protective, but that’s only because of how long we’ve been together.” Okay, maybe “a bit” was an understatement. But hopefully it was enough to ease some worries…
Pika looked at the android speaking to him. RX-300, an android… strange. He’d never seen one before. And CyberLife… it sounded like a lab…
“Chu…” He didn’t like the sound of that. He even seemed a little… less aggressive, but more scared. But, as usual, even a cornered creature could lash out. He backed towards Luna more, looking up at her but not taking his gaze completely off of Jill. “Pika, pika pikachu…” His cheeks sparked lightly, but there was no sign of another outburst yet.
“CyberLife industries…? Doesn’t sound familiar…” Luna mused, looking at the Pikachu beside her. “Don’t worry, Pika. As long as they don’t have ties with Team Rocket, they won’t hurt us.”
The young girl looked back at Kaiya and Jill. “I apologize for Pika’s behavior. It is really very nice to meet you, Jill. This is Pika, and my name is Luna,” she introduced, “and I have to admit, CyberLife and androids seem very interesting. Similar to a concept I’m… a little familiar with, but different. What is CyberLife’s goal?”

Veena smiled as Tyler’s tail came down to pat her on the head. Leaning into it, she seemed happy. She loved attention!
“Lea leaf!” she yipped, trying to bat at the tail gently as well. It looked just like the leaves on her body!
It seemed that the deer boy was… nervous? Why was he nervous? Did it have something to do with her being near his mouse friend? Well, she couldn’t have that! Picking up a Berry that had fallen from the pink container, she offered it to Tyler. “Feon, leaf!”

Bella let out a small chuckle at the Leafeon’s playful nature, before turning back to Aida and Millie. Holding up one of the containers, she pointed to the pink label that read “sweet”. The rest of the containers had labels as well, blue for dry, green for bitter, red for spicy, yellow for sour. Of course, there were no useful berries in there, only ones used strictly as ingredients. They’d need the Oran Berries and Aspear Berries later.
“Gardevoir, garde,” she spoke, despite knowing that no others aside from Veena could understand properly. However, she seemed to be trying to tell them that a balance of these ingredients could be used to make the food neutral-tasting, or more of an unbalanced amount to lean towards specific flavorings. She didn’t want her bias to take place, though, so she would leave the cooking part up to the others for the most part.

  • Brown eyes landed on Millie as she spoke, brows furrowing at her dejected look and the claim that she'd get between any fighting. For some reason, that irritated him. Like it reminded him of someone, but he couldn't remember who.

"You gonna risk hurting yourself to stop a fight?" He asked. His mood had soured a bit at the thought, if people wanted to fight, surely there was a way to stop it without needlessly putting yourself in danger too. Opening his mouth to say so, he quickly closed it when Tyler expressed that he was okay, and Millie answered his question about the kindness talk.

Letting that info sink in, along with the containers Bella was pointing out he nodded before speaking again with a soft 'thank you' to Bella and the rest of his words being directed to Millie specifically.

"Are you…like, I dunno, a deity from a…western religion or something? You kinda sound like a god but don't carry yourself like one. Well, not like the ones I've met so far." He muttered. Most he met had a certain air about them, an otherworldly type of aura, though their attitude didn't help half the time. Seiichi had been a bit of an oddball in the sense that he was rather polite in a sort of…awkward, doormat kind of way, but honestly Aida preferred that to a stuck up snob.

While he wouldn't admit it out loud, gods also had a pleasant smell, probably why Phantoms always said 'smells nice' whenever they tried to eat gods. Maybe it was simply for the gods of his world?

As Millie begins to pick containers and continues speaking, he fidgets a bit, unsure on whether he had accidentally offended another god. Even if he'd rather tell gods that weren't his how he really felt about them, the last thing he'd want is to negatively affect his own and cause him trouble. More than once ever since he was named that he said something that came off as rude towards another god, or was scolded by another Regalia for how he spoke to Seiichi. The thought brings a memory to the surface of his mind in that moment.

A gathering in the Heavens, while most of the deities were speaking amongst themselves over problems in the near shore while in the presence of Amaterasu, any Regalia they brought were set in another area to wait. Yoshida had left him to mingle, making a teasing remark about him making friends as well in reference to a comment he had made to Seiichi when they had arrived.

Apparently, some of the other Regalia must have heard his comment to Seiichi cause they wouldn't shut up about it.

"He speak as if he's the god and not the servant. Does he have no shame?" A woman scoffed, hand covering her mouth. Immediately his eyes landed on the Kanji imprinted on her wrist, the name she was given.

"Surely if he were the Regalia of any high ranking god they'd revoke his name after–" a second woman started, only to stop as he clicked his tongue and cut her off with his own words.

"If you're going to talk about me like I can't hear you, then keep your voices down. How I speak to Seiichi-Sama is none of your business and last I checked it's my job to help guide him, not yours. I'd get having a name revoked for stinging your master but if you're getting your name revoked for simply talking to them then either you're doing something wrong or your god has a stick so far up their–" He stated matter-of-factly, before being cut off as someone placed a hand on his head.

"It's okay Aida, we're leaving anyway. Got a job." Seiichi smiled down at his Regalia, who grumbled but nodded.

Yoshida gave him a light scolding as they waited for their god to finish up his goodbyes and get the Regalia that had been talking ill of him to stop apologizing.

"You know, the way you talk to me doesn't bother me, since you have an honest way of speaking, but from now on...maybe tell me how you're feeling? I could tell how agitated you were, it kinda hurt, but I'd like to avoid having us both in pain y'know?" Seiichi chuckled as they arrived at their jobs destination, rubbing the nape of his neck with a sheepish look on his face. Both Yoshida and Aida had stared at Seiichi with slightly wide eyes, before both blurted out--

    "I stung you?"
    "He stung you?!"

"It was minor, but it should be expected since you guys are human and flawed, like everything else...even us gods, y'know?" Seiichi sighed.

"Please don't get all sappy about it." Aida deadpanned.

"Seiichi-Sama out job is to guide you on the right path, but..." Yoshida trailed off at Seiichi simply smiling at them both.

"I dunno, I think you guys are doing pretty great so far." The deity replied.

While the memory wasn't recent, it was one he was a bit fond of even if at the time he had stung Seiichi by not keeping his emotions in check.

"Uh, you guys need help? With cooking? I'm not like…the best, but, I can help if I'm not in the way?" He blurted once out of his thoughts. Though, he had picked up on something, noticing the mouse boy had started hissing their way, he didn't seem to like Millie the way he was looking in her direction

He stared intently at Millie as she spoke, confirming that yes, she was in fact Kindness. That... That couldn't be a bad thing, right? She was Kindness, the name spoke for itself. She wasn't a threat. None of the virtues were, not really. They were pleasant, even towards his kind, even towards him. They weren't malicious beings. He was safe. Tyler was safe. There was no real reason to worry. And yet, an uncomfortable knot was forming in his stomach, tense and tight, making him feel slightly ill. His fingers fidgeted with one of the threads on his sweater sleeve. "Do you- You know Humility, right?" The question was tentatively, raising his eyes slightly to look in Millie's direction, hopeful.

They had to know each other. If he knew the other Sins, she had to know the other Virtues. Which meant she must know Humility. He hadn't seen her in so long, would she even remember him? Did she still think about him? He dropped his gaze to the floor, still fidgeting with his sleeves, falling quiet. One of those Pokemon beings had wandered over. It seemed to be offering Tyler a berry? Tilting his head to the side, he gently nudged Tyler with his elbow. "You should try it. I think the pink ones were sweet?" Would it taste like normal fruit? He hadn't had fruit in a long time, not since his childhood... He recalled most fruits being sweet and juicy. He'd liked... Grapes? And strawberries, strawberries dipped in chocolate...

Hmm. Maybe he should try one of those berries himself-

Oh, right. He'd been in the middle of a conversation. His head snapped back round to Millie, hands dropping to his sides to disguise his discomfort. "I'm-" Did he want to tell her? She wasn't a threat, no-one here was. There was no real reason to be afraid of revealing who he was. But he didn't want to. His name meant nothing now. He had no status, no rank. He wasn't Pride. Not anymore. But he didn't have any other name, not unless he wanted to offer his number to her, which he didn't. Sighing, he leaned back against the counter, glancing over at Tyler. "-Pride. Or used to be." There, it was done. He could breathe now.

As Aida offered up his assistance, Pride glanced over at him instead. "I don't think anyone would object to extra help?" He wouldn't. He wasn't much of a chef himself, he didn't need to eat, he'd only really cooked food for Tyler, consuming it himself purely for the taste and flavor. "I'm not much of a chef either..."

She looks at Aida, thoughtfully. “I won’t get hurt.” She settles on. It’s nothing, she can handle it. If it helps everyone and makes everyone happy, she can take a hit.

Ah right,” She returns focus, “I’m not so sure about… ‘Western religion’, I’m not even from this universe.” She chirps, “So I’m not sure if it will line up, but we have our Father, who is ‘God’. The Cherubim are his right hand men, or women. And then there’s the virtues, which are me and my siblings. I’m Kindness-

To answer both questions at once, she looks at Pride, “My sister Humility. Then there’s Chastity, Temperance, Charity, Diligence, and Patience.” She smiles, “We all have names! But, we’re not… special deity’s anymore. I hope I don’t carry myself like a God. I’m no god, I’m no better than anyone else.” She shakes her head, smiling gently.

After the Wisp had a change of heart, she- she’s a she!- decided to make some changes.” She was excited to explain it, especially when Pride had shown he may know Humility. Did he know the changes? “Tearing my world down back to the basics, and she made one world for us to share instead of the Heavens and the below.” Below being purgatory and hell. They often don’t even say the words.

It’s beautiful, and we all can live in… mostly harmony.” She sighs, of course there’s a few that still were just… Well, from Hell. They caused their own ruckus, but the ones that do harm on others were punished more harshly than just an eternal Hell.

So, no. I’m not a deity. I’m not a God. And that’s why! I can use whatever language I want. I’m just so used to saying the same phrases.” She sighs tiredly, it was hard to just always have to be perfect and play a part. “Now I’m free to be me, and not just Kindness.” She smiles. It was great, but, how could she not still spread Kindness?

She looked at Aida and Pride expectantly. It was a lot to say, she takes a deep breath. She talked too much probably, she looks shyly down this time, “Sorry… I’m easily excitable about it… Or anything. Pokemon, or my travels in general. The Wisp helps me move between Dimensions-” She cuts herself off, she didn’t need to go on another tangent…

The whole time, moving her hands in smooth motions to grab the ingredients that Bella had been pointing at in her own speeches. Seems Bella wanted a more neutral soup- but why not something sweet and salty? She doesn’t want to go overboard, but the salty might help add flavor that isn’t spice for those sensitive to it.

Her hands still when Pride mentioned his name. Pride. Pride? The Pride? She tries to keep her breath even as she turns around to look at him. Her eyes slightly wide, hands coming up to clasp each other and rest in front of her mouth. Her mouth twitches as it turns into a smile.

Is that why you asked about Lily? Goodness, Pride. Pride!” She giggles out, wrapping her arms around herself. In her excitement she named Lily instead of refering to her as Humility. She was excited- but Pride didn’t like being touched last time. And of course, of course he doesn’t. She knows him. She knows what happened to him. Her eyes well up, heart filled with the sorrow of knowing his fate, but… “You escaped! Lily was worried, she was so worried and sad when you returned home-” Home, more properly named Hell. “When you left, all of the below was in shambles at your escape!”

She was so happy for him, so happy at Lily’s relief. Her sister missed Pride so much, but how could she wish for anything other than him to stay hidden and safe after that?

Then the afterlife changed. And he never came back. But he was here, right now, and Lily didn’t even know.

I need to tell her, she’ll be so happy-” Or, did he want to stay hidden…?

Tyler huffed, Millie must be ignoring him. There’s no way. No way that she hasn’t noticed anything he’s done. He looks at Aida- Aida noticed him! How could Millie not? He scurries over to Aida’s side instead.

Digging his little thin hands into Aida’s jacket. “Everyone’s ignoring me. Tell them it hurts all my feelings. Not even just some of them.” He pleads, smirking childishly at his new plan.

  • "Mm. I guess I just like to eat more than cook." He sighed in response to Pride. Cooking was a chore sometimes.

He had frowned when Millie answered his inquiry about stopping a fight, but his brown eyes widened a bit at the info dump Millie had shared, though there was a glint of fascination in the usually dull eyes of the Regalia.

The concept of simply reshaping the world was one that he couldn't really wrap his head around, and he couldn't help but wonder how such a thing could work to be mostly harmonious.

"I…see. Where I'm from, there are hundreds…maybe thousands of gods of different things; such as rice and agriculture, war, calamity, fortune…the hierarchy is a bit…hard to really determine other than the one in charge being Amaterasu, the sun Goddess. The Heavens…" He trailed off, trying to collect his thoughts into words as his eyes dulled as he continued with another train of thought, "gods slay phantoms, beings born of negativity, and humans worship gods so they can continue to exist and grant wishes. I'm what you'd call a divine weapon, I help my god slay phantoms and grant wishes and all that…gods are like forces of nature that look human, really. Forces of nature that don't know right from wrong, and need us divine weapons to help guide them." He huffed a bit at the end.

"The way you talked gave me the impression you were tied to some form of religion, so that was my bad for assuming right off the bat you were a deity, I was partially being…cautious, I guess? I've been told I can come off rude to other gods or whatever, and the last thing I want is to cause trouble for my god, Seiichi. I mostly care about my god's opinion anyway." That last part was grumbled under his breath.

His gaze had moved to the things gathered on the counter, about to try and help with the noodles, when he felt little hands tugging at his jacket causing him to glance down to Tyler. Aida…wasn't that great with children, at least, he wasn't sure if he ever did a good job around them. He didn't have much of a filter, and came off as mean or boring most of the time when he didn't try to.

Millie was now speaking with deer boy-Pride? He said that was his name right?-and seemed...happy? They definitely knew each other to some capacity it seemed with the way they talked.

He'd humor the kid, at least, Tyler seemed like a little gremlin to Aida. He was fine with that.

"The little guy's feeling left out of the conversation, hurting all of his feelings at once." He announced, it was hard to tell if he was being serious or not. Smh, how does one ignore little mouse boy? Well, Pride didn't really, so he didn't count. Bella didn't count either, she was pretty cool so far.

Her eyes darted to every imperceptive movement the strange yellow creature made, nodding curtly in response to Kaiya's warning. Seeing further hesitance, Jill calmly and slowly rested her hand against her leg as she glanced toward the person who introduced herself. "Hello, Luna. It is a pleasure to meet with you, and... 'Pika', here. I hope he will come to accept me in due time." She paused, her LED pulsing a steady blue before swirling again. A strange, almost euphoric comfort washed over the android as she finally found a sense of direction when Luna asked about CyberLife; turning to stand up gently as she clasped her hands behind her back with a soft smile before speaking as if she'd recited this speech thousands of times in the past. "CyberLife is the world's leading Android designer founded in Detroit, Michigan in 2018. The first successful pass of the Turing Test was completed in 2022 by an RT600 'Chloe' android, and in 2024, CyberLife's commercial stores and assembly warehouses began construction in the city. Three years later, the production of several specialized models began, and more androids were developed in response to increased job sector demand in the fields of healthcare, education, industry, and domestic assistance. CyberLife's main goal was to initially achieve the impossible, to finally create true Artificial General Intelligence able to be given a 'Humanoid' platform to experience the world as they do, alongside freeing up dangerous jobs and automating other tedious tasks so that Humans experienced less overall stress and are able to live better, fuller lives. Where I'm from, the current year is 2038. Androids of all occupations and specializations now exist alongside Humans. I apologize for the long-winded explanation. Did you mention a Rocket team? I believe the military has those. I can say with certainty I'm not a service member of the United States Army- I hope that eases Pika's concerns." Jill concluded as her LED flickered yellow, brow furrowing in contemplation. Were these people on the run from the military? Were they fugitives? Regardless, she doubted they'd be able to be found out here- wherever they were.

"Ah... that's really interesting!" Luna replied with a smile. "Androids are so interesting! It's kind like Magearna from the stories I heard." When she asked about Team Rocket, and whether they were a military organization, the girl shook her head. "No, it isn't that. Although they do have many branches and capable battlers, they also have scientists. My guardian, who isn't here right now, were created as clones. Mewtwo was to be the strongest Pokemon in the world, only obeying Team Rocket's leader, while I was supposed to be a replacement for someone's lost daughter," she explained, her gaze drifting off to the side a bit. "However, some things went wrong, and... I was kicked out of my home, and Mewtwo destroyed the lab, from what I've heard. Although, all of us--meaning Mewtwo, Pika, Pixi, Veena, Sheldon and I--met on Mount Quena in the Johto region. That place was all of us, the clones', home for a while, at least until they found us again. There were a few Trainers there that time, too, some that Mewtwo recognized. I used my ability to transform into Pokemon to help those guys deal with Team Rocket. We saved our home, but we were no longer safe, so we all split up. I've already met up with two of the Trainers again, I hope I can meet the boy and his Pikachu again too." She finished her story with a smile, trying to hide the pain of what Team Rocket had done to her and her friends.
For a bit, Kaiya was speechless. That... must have been harsh. Having to live in fear for the years she had been on that mountain? Not being able to leave? That seemed scary. "Wow, I'm sorry that happened... Experiments, especially on living things, are... incredibly harsh, aren't they?" she asked, inching ever-so-slightly closer to the blunette and the Pikachu. "I can definitely vouch for that. But, while things are peaceful for us in Tokyo now that the whole split is over, it seems you have a lot more on your plate."
"Yeah," Luna nodded, "but for now, I'm just focusing on my friends. They come before anything else, even my journey, which is usually the most important part of a Pokemon Trainer's career. I have the materials I need to complete it; it just comes after the safety of all of my Pokemon friends, though many of them have split apart from me at the moment. Hopefully someday, I'll get all of us back together." Stroking Pika on the head and down the back to calm him, she had a longing look in her eyes and a soft smile on her face.

Now, Veena had climbed onto the handles of the drawers. Dropping the Mago Berry on the counter and rolling it towards Tyler again, she tried to get his attention. "Lea leaf, leafeon," she yipped, nudging him slightly with a smile and motioning to the berry with her paw. It was as if she was saying, for you. She wanted him to feel better, hopefully this might help? She gave him another soft nuzzle before sneaking over to the Berry containers and sneaking a Spelon Berry from the Spicy container--or at least attempting to, before...
Uh oh. Bella had noticed her. "Garde!" she scolded, playfully bopping Veena's nose, causing her to rear back and look at it in surprise. Shaking her head, the Leafeon sighed. It was worth a shot.
Bella tilted her head, before realizing that all Veena wanted was one berry. Supposing it would be okay, she took the berry out of the container and handed it to Veena, who barked in delight before going back over to Tyler and beginning to eat it. Even by the smell, it seemed spicy, but Veena seemed to like it anyway.
Now that the Leafeon was satisfied, she turned back to the rest of the group and looked to see if they could use any more help. Nodding in response to Aida's 'thank you', Bella once again smiled at him before turning to look at Tyler when it was mentioned that his feelings were hurt. Of course, being a Gardevoir, she was sensitive to others' feelings. Walking over to the small mouse boy, she knelt down to his level of the kitchen counter, holding her hand to her chest in her way of greeting. "Voir, gardevoir," she introduced, giving him her signature smile, and hopefully making his feelings feel better.

They had names now? All of them? Did his siblings have names too? So much time had passed, so much had changed, and yet despite all that he felt as if he'd been frozen in time, unable to change or develop with the rest of the world. Unable to move on, or move forward. Pride sighed quietly, rubbing at his face as Millie continued to speak, thumbs massaging his temples. This was a... Lot. A lot to take in. The Wisp had created a new world? One where demonkind and angelkind were living in harmony? It sounded like a lie, some kind of sick trick that his mind was playing on him, like this was all some twisted dream and he'd wake up back there-

"Why now...?" It felt unfair. That all these changes had happened after he'd escaped, after he'd been sent back to Hell for years and years and years and years, just to suffer. Why had the Wisp had a change of heart so suddenly? If she could change so much, why hadn't she done it sooner? A foreign feeling bubbled within his chest, eyebrows knitting together and jaw clenching. This was anger, wasn't it? Wrath. He balled his hands into fists, nails pressing into his palms, eyes on the ground. "What took her so long?" It wasn't fair. So many people had suffered. He had suffered. And the Wisp, despite having the power to change everything, had done nothing.

His attention was tugged away from the bubbling feeling as Millie spoke again. Lily? Was the Humility? They had names now... He swallowed, breathing heavily as he forced his jaw to relax, raising his eyes to look at her. "Yeah. We escaped." Thanks to Tyler. He hadn't even been conscious when Tyler had saved them both, hadn't even been alive to witness it. In a sense he'd been thankful for the death, and the reset. He bore no scars from his torment, his body was healthy, antlers fully grown and present atop his head. "Tyler got us out." ...Where was Tyler anyway?

"Are things- Is it really better now?" Was Lily living in that new world that had been created? Was his family? He missed them. He missed them all, but it was safe here. "Is Lily happy?" Was she safe too? He fidgeted restlessly, absently flicking at the tag on his ear, scanning the room with a lack of focus. Tyler was over with Aida, for some reason. And- Oh. Of course. He wanted attention.

"...No-one is ignoring you, Tyler." If anything, Tyler was the one ignoring people. Poor Veena...

Millie takes the time to listen to Aida’s speech of God’s. Different gods for each thing… Hm, she doesn’t know how the living plane is being handled. Maybe she could talk to the Wisp sometime…? She’s not sure if the Wisp even cares about those living. She didn’t think the Wisp cared about the dead until recently… Maybe she’s just a work in progress.

Oh, Aida is… a weapon himself? A tool for their gods to use? He doesn’t seem to be upset about that, just annoyed at having to point the Gods in the right direction. She smiled at Aida, blessed to have someone who wants to help! Well… Maybe he didn’t want to. Maybe he wanted to be free like she was now free…?

She raised her eyebrows at his last comment. Cautious? Trouble? “You won’t have to worry about causing any trouble with me. I wouldn’t want you to be worried while trapped here with me.” She tries reassuring him. “That’s very interesting though, I… I like some of your culture, I might consider bringing some of it up to the Wisp sometime. She listens more and more lately. At least when she’s in her true form. When she’s not, she’s… Scary, if I’m being honest.” She laughs and rubs her face.

Ah, right. The Wisp. Pride didn’t seem happy at the news- of course it’s good news, but… Yes. It was after Pride left. He’d been back for thousands of years before he could escape and only then did the Wisp have a change of heart. She felt great sadness in her heart, covering her chest and eyes softening at Pride.

... I think she met someone, they made her see something worth changing. It makes sense that love would be a force strong enough to change realms…?” She mentioned it once, she met someone who risked their life to help someone. She was in her true form at the time, and it touched her heart. She doesn’t think the Wisp loved that person, but the act of that person’s love changed her.

Now she’s in her true form a lot more. Millie thinks the Wisp couldn’t control the form until then…?

I honestly don’t know it all, she never told me all the details.” She smiles over at Tyler, who was… Not happy. Oh dear, what’s happening? She turns her head back to Pride as she steps closer to the little mouse boy.

Things are great, I like to think! Did I mention how those who don’t abide by the new rules… Well, their punishment is different now. They can get sent back to the living realm, given a second chance, but if they… if they can’t find the light so to speak, they get erased permanently.” Quite the harsh punishment, but… She had met those who got erased. She wants to think there’s good in everyone, but… They were the Sins, the Sins that took over when the original Sins left. There was nothing but darkness in their hearts.

It was tragic, but she knew what they’d done to Pride. How could she feel sorry for them when Pride couldn’t even handle a shoulder pat minutes earlier?

Maybe it’s not enough punishment for some.” She let out, darkly. She can think these things now. She’s free to think what she wants. And she’ll chose Pride over them. Her sister loves Pride, and now she’s found him. She’ll deliver him to her somehow, and Pride will be happy and safe, and Lily won’t have to worry anymore.

Tyler?” He was…. Hissing at her?
