Fallon stepped into her new dorm, then dropped her baggage on the floor next to her, which was a Walmart bag with a change of clothes and her sentimentals from her long lost biological family and the one she just left inside. She did a slow 360 and took in the dorm room and all its glory, which, really, was luxury compared to the abandoned fire escape she was living in. There was a bed with a mattress AND a... a frame to go with it. When was the last time Fallon had slept on one of those things? Even though it was squeaky and in need of a good maintenance, she flopped down on it with her arms out wide. There was an antique bedside table with a flower in a vase next to the bed, and even though the flower was faded and near the point of withering, she inhaled deeply and smelled the fresh smell of roses and lilies. Since it was a few minutes after her admission, she curled up for a nap as her ears and tail poked out for warmth.

Asura..was completely and utterly exhausted. Not only had he been on the run he also had an incredibly hard time finding his way here. He happened to hear about the so called "school for gifted children" snow-fire academy while he was hiding in an ally. He figured if he could be safe anywhere It would be there. But its kinda hard to ask random people on the street for directions when your shyer than a chameleon. Not only that but when he did muster up the courage to ask someone they ran from him due to his hulking appearance and the fact that he was red and only half dressed. He meandered his way up to the room he was given and carefully opened the door as not to break it. Looking into the room it seemed so..normal"..guess its not as special as i thought?" He mumbled looking through the room. He had no luggage as he had to run in a hurry. Looking at the bed in the room he realized it looked quite like his old bed which caused him to remember the sorrowful events of the past few days. Although he was sad at the loss of his parents he knew his father, who since he was a demigod, would have his soul reincarnated sometime in the next 500 years. Although he would have no memory of his wife and son. Asura took a second to sit on the bed it creaking as he did. As He streatched his arms a distinct creeking, like that of the hull of a large ship, could be heard from them. This sound annoyed him but he could do nothing about it. He laid back on the bed deciding to take a small nap. Sleeping in dark ally ways isn't good for the back so lying in a bed felt better than anything. "Ill go exploring in a little bit." he mumbled as he dozed off.

Given Jaya's penchant for causing damage to public property and attracting attention, it was no surprise that she received an invitation to join Snow-Fire Academy for the Gifted, no surprise to anyone but her that is. Jaya recognizes the unique abilities she possesses, they had saved her from the brink of death many a time after all. Without these abilities, such as a healing factor, she probably would have given up adventuring long ago due to her tendency to lose limbs.

She had received the invitation earlier in the day. The letter was given to her by one of the school's scouts shortly after she had reduced a building to rubble in order to quell the rage of a malfunctioning Golem. She sat quietly in the local diner that evening, contemplating whether or not to accept. Jaya had let her fire sprite companion out of it's container for the time being, and moved her gaze from the letter to see it sleeping on the table. The sight of the resting creature and it's flame glowing bright with every inhale and low with every exhale brought Jaya into a trance like state for some time before she snapped out of her reverie. Turning back to the letter she thought that there couldn't be much harm in investigating. The school gives her a solid destination to travel to, and she could take her time getting there. The rest of Jaya's evening was spent talking up other customer's, and exchanging cooking tips with the employees. She was particularly interested in a recipe for the bread they used. Once the diner closed, Jaya wandered the streets of the town to find lodging for the night, and the next morning, she set out on her journey to Snow-Fire Academy.

After a good few weeks of travel, with stops to earn a fair bit of coin along the way, Jaya finally arrived at the school. She was rather taken by the grand size of the school. The thought of being able to explore such an expansive building making her twitch with excitement. She first tried to roam around the campus for a short while before being found by a member of the faculty and escorted to the main office. It was a awkward for Jaya to fill out the acceptance form. She was naturally right handed, though her right arm was torn off in a scuffle with an ogre, and she hadn't quite gotten a handle on being ambidextrous yet. The arm would grow back soon enough though, so she probably wouldn't learn to properly use her left hand properly before then.

Having handed in the sloppily filled out form, Jaya stepped outside the office and breathed a deep sigh. She had been given a map of the school as well as a key to a dorm room, but didn't want to settle in yet. Instead, she was curious as to what the library was like. Along the way she admired the pristine architecture of the school, and marked her map with places to return to later. Entering the library filled her nostrils with the scent of old parchment and dust, bringing memories of other libraries to her mind, as well as a smile to her face. The library was a sprawling three floors tall with books both on the shelves, as well as in unsorted heaps left around. Occasionally a book from the piles would lift up and float about the library to find its shelf. Jaya stared in awe at the books as they found their homes, and followed one of them until it reached its shelf. Curious she then took the book out and looked it over, spotting an odd rune on the spine of it. Upon opening the book Jaya found it contained depictions of many plants from the Northern Kingdom, as well as how to use them in brewing. She had read many travel guides of the Eastern Kingdom and its flora, but had never seen plants like the ones in this book.

After several minutes of being enamored by the book's contents Jaya was brought back to reality by a scratching noise. The fire sprite she kept as a pet, Violet, was clawing at the sides of the insulated container it was kept in, wanting to be let out. Jaya looked around herself and spotted a lovely table for her to sit at. The tabled was positioned to look out of a window with a view of the main yard. Settling herself down she opened Violet's container, letting the creature stretch out its form out of the cramped space. Violet then turned to face Jaya, chirping a few times before opening it's mouth expectantly. The one armed adventurer chuckled, knowing precisely what her needy companion desired. Jaya removed a small bottle from a hidden pocket in her sleeve and put a small drop of it's contents on the tip of her index finger. She then slowly held out her finger in front of the spectral flame's maw. Violet slowly closed its mouth around her finger, making sure not to burn her keeper. Upon taking in the fuel a burst of flame flowed through Violet, and she grew roughly a centimeter in size. Jaya removed her finger from the flame's mouth only for it to open it again. Jaya grinned at it and shook her finger making a chiding clicking in response. Violet then closed its mouth with an aggressive glare towards Jaya before it floated closer to the window and rested next to the sill in a cat like fashion. Jaya sighed, shrugging her shoulders before returning to her book. After some time in the library Jaya eventually fell dozed off, her face buried into the book lying on the table. Noticed its sleeping owner, Violet floated over to look her over. After poking her a few times, the sprite let out a sigh and shook what could be called it's head. It took up a lovely resting spot on top of the head of the sleeping adventurer.

Smoke hugged his mother ignored the snickering and giggling. He played with the frills of her dress and felt the warmth of the fire beneath her skin. He'd miss her, but Smoke knew that he'd see her again.
"You be good, ok?" She said lifting his chin and smiling her warm and beautiful smile one last time before walking off.
Smoke immediately felt lost. He pulled out his schedule and headed towards his dorm. On the way there he was stopped by a teacher and was fussed at for not already being at his dorm. He'd get her back.... Minutes later he finally made it to his dorm. He walked in and laid down almost immediately. He fell asleep quickly ignoring his roommate.

Asura sat up in a flurry. He immediately looked around the room and realizing where he was relaxed. He had heard a noise, probably the door opening as when he looked to his side he saw a small child lying down in the bed next to his. Seeing that the child was already asleep he tried his best to be quiet as he covered his face with both hands rubbing it to wake himself. He had had a nightmare, the same one he had been seeing for the fast few days. It was the image of his mother screaming at him to go a she was impaled by a sword from behind. It was something he wanted to forget but couldn't. As he stood and stretched the bed and his arms creaked loudly.

While whistling a little tune and spinning his dorm key around his index finger Roy Langston wandered down a long hall, eyeing the numbers on the doors. "132...133... ah 134," he mumbled before turning to one of many identical doors. Inserting and turning the key Roy pushed open the door to his new home, and compared to his castle back in the Western Kingdom the small room was quaint. It wasn't grand or large, but it had everything that was needed. Nothing too fancy and Roy liked that. Sliding the duffel bag full of clothes and other knickknacks off his shoulder and throwing it onto his new bed Roy took a second to give it a good look and just like the rest of the dorm there wasn't really anything special about it. On top of that he wasn't very tired as he slept during the trip here, so the young prince was rather woke.

After getting accustomed to his new surroundings Roy decided that it would be a good idea to look around the school and potentially meet new friends. His plan is too at least keep his whole "being a freaking prince" part of him a secret so that nobody is really intimidated by him. And if they weren't, then good for them. By now Roy was starring off into space thinking about his plan, which as of now he hasn't done much then turn to the door of his dorm, which was still halfway open. Shaking his head and bringing himself back to earth Roy left his dorm, making sure that the door was locked so that no thieves steal his stuff. Roy then went wandering through the school, getting a mental map of the place and hopefully meeting new students.

Asura, Seeing that the boy who apparently shared a room with him hadn't awoken. Quietly left the room. He had decided to go and explore the academy. He found the whole place interesting much more than the places he had seen in the past few days. Its castle like structure amazed him.

The search for Lucia's dormitory room had taken herself quite a bit longer than she'd wanted it to, but, finally she had found it. She grabbed the doorknob and turned it slightly. Whether it had been locked before or not, it opened without any resistance at all, as is unsurprising. She looked inside and was rather confused. There was someone else in the room. She hadn't been informed that she would have a roommate. Or, maybe she was, she may not have been paying too much attention now that she thought about it. She was entirely sure that this was the correct room at least. Luckily they seemed to be sleeping, meaning she could just sort out her stuff without being interrupted. Well...without being interrupted by anyone except for her pet Thunderbird Iria of course.

"Let me out of here already! It's too cramped in here!"
Iria whispered from inside the rather large metal birdcage that Lucia had been using to keep her from just flying around the academy and causing havoc while transporting her to her dormitory room. "I'll let you out later, Iria. I don't want to wake up the person whom I'm having to unfortunately share a room with. Plus I have unpacking to do. And either way, I know you. If I let you out, you're going to attempt to steal my head, or zap my roommate. I will not have any of that nonsense occurring at the moment." "If you don't let me out I'll zap your sleeping roommate." "...You wouldn't dare do something like that." "Want to test that theory?~" Lucia pondered this for a moment before deciding to give in to Iria's demands. After all she wanted to avoid having to interact with her roommate as much as possible for the time being. "...Fine, but don't cause any trouble...and don't wake up my roommate or I'll shove you right back into that cage." Lucia mutters, opening the cage door. It had been locked, sure, but as with any lock, it unlocked itself for Lucia. Lucia immediately ducked as Iria darted out of her cage and started flying circles around the room.

Lucia simply shook her head and quietly set Iria's cage on the floor. She carefully slid off the quite heavy travel backpack she'd packed all of her stuff into and brought with her and quietly set it on the floor before beginning to check through it to make sure nothing was broken and everything was still there. It was quite heavy, to the point where she was pretty exhausted just from carrying it around all this time. She had packed quite a bit more than she needed, or really for that matter would ever be likely to need, but, still, being prepared was always for the best. She turned around to make sure that Iria wasn't getting into any trouble and saw Iria swooping down to attempt to snatch off her head. She quickly ducked, but Iria's talons slightly poked her head, causing it to fall off of her neck and into her backpack. She quickly retrieved her head, reattaching it to her neck and glaring at Iria, who was once again simply flying around the room at random. "Crazy bird..."

After a moment or two of sorting through her backpack she simply zipped it back up and glanced over at the person whom she'd be having to share a dormitory with. It was a peculiar looking girl who had animal like ears and...a tail apparently, who was curled up on one of the beds. There really wasn't too much that she could discern about them just by looking at them, and for a moment she was tempted to attempt to search through their stuff while they were sleeping. However, since the only thing they appeared to have was a single Walmart bag, she decided it would probably be a waste of time. She moved her backpack onto her bed and waved at Iria to signal for her to come near.

"Alright Iria, I'm going to leave the room and wander around this place a bit. You know, in order to get a good idea of the layout of this academy. Now, you have two choices. You either can stay out of the cage if you agree to behave yourself, which means no messing with my belongings or this other person's belongings, no zapping anybody, and no waking this other person up, or I can put you back in your cage. What is decision?" Lucia whispered to Iria, giving her the only two choices she was really going to offer. "Can't I come with you? I wanna come with you! I wanna explore!" "Iria, no. Maybe some other time, but not now. If I let you come with me, you're likely to cause trouble, or go flying off somewhere and force me to chase you down and cause me to get lost. I'm not going to put up with that right now, as I'm quite fatigued." "Fiiiiiiine. I promise I'll behave myself. You don't have to put me back in the cage." "Very well then. I will take my leave. I will be back shortly." Lucia replies, quickly leaving the room and leaving Iria to her own devices as she began to wander the academy.

Asura noticed as he explored the school that he felt much more at home than he thought he would. The place was relatively calm for its size but this was completely okay with Asura. Less people meant less awkward stares and gasps from the background. He quite enjoyed the free feeling. As Asura explored he noticed one other person. A girl who looked to be about his age. In his head he was having a heated debate with himself over a simple question, 'should i go say hi?'. On one side he felt that being in a new place required a social attitude to make connections. On the other she could run from him like most others did or ask the one question he hated the most, 'what's up with your skin?' Just thinking about how many times he had heard the question caused the runes on his body to glow with a bright red ever so slightly. Then he remembered where he was and mustered the courage to go say hello. As he made his way over he kept repeating the words he would say but first interactions never go as planned for Asura. As he came up to the girl the words he could muster were "Asura, my names hi..um..." He blinked stunned at his own stupidity.

Smoke was dreaming of open fields and hunting for food when he bolted awake. He looked down and saw the blue scales of his beastly dragon form. He purred and walked off the bed, stretching as he did so. Smoke nudged the dorm door open and crawled out. He tried to stay low to the ground but people definitely noticed him.
One girl screamed others simply stared.
Smoke quickly made his way out of the building and towards the woods.

However before Smoke could escape, he saw who he thought was his roommate with a well dressed girl. She was pretty but she looked rather aggressive and stoic, but it seemed...fake. Too forced. He slowly and cautiously approached them, unfortunately he knocked over a bucket with soap and water in it creating a ruckus. So much for being cautious. He looked at the mess and stuck his tail between his legs almost like a dog who was scared of something or another.

Asura turned his head half out of shock for the sudden noise behind him half not wanting to face the person he had just gave the impression of an idiot to. As he turned he spotted the source of the noise and was surprised to see a brilliantly colored blue dragon and a knocked over bucket of water. When it came to animals Asura was much more calm plus he had never seen a dragon before. His mom had told him tales of them but a real dragon is a rare sight. Casting off his shy and nervous nature he slowly approached the dragon realizing that it seemed afraid. Not wanting to scare him he stretched out an open palm as if trying to signal 'its okay, don't be afraid'

Fallon had been asleep for a long time now. She had been dreaming about apples and her family on the street. Alexa, her best friend, who Fallon called her sister, was walking on a tightrope in front of her. Fallon then looked down and got scared, then let out a burst of energy of her magic in the dream, and Alexa was startled and she fell. Fallon screamed, and woke up with a shock. A literal shock.

"Ohmygodohmygodohmygod....." Fallon gasped as she sat up on her bed. She sat for a minute or two, blinking and trying to catch her breath, and once her vision wasn't fuzzy anymore, she saw a bird on the opposite bed. It was a large, black bird, about the size of a raven. "Oh... mygod." Fallon looked at her tail, and all of the fur on it was standing up. She ran a hand through her hair to find that it was full of static. The bird squaked, and Fallon looked up at it. She stood up and stuck a clawed hand out to pet it...

Smoke looked at the hand before straightening, he was the size of a Humvee. A Humvee that had razor sharp teeth, claws, and a playful attitude. He nuzzled the hand before sniffing Asura and finally sitting down.
"Hi!" Smoke said in a happy tone. His ears perked up as he did so. Smokes attention turned toward some noise made in the room they were in front of. His head cocked to the side.

Asura was hit with a wave of nostalgia as his hand was Nuzzled. It reminded him of the first time he met a dire wolf in the woods and ,even though his mother told him that dire wolves were dangerous, ventured to reach out to it. Ever since then Asura has had a great interest in animals of all kind. He snapped out of this after hearing the dragon speak."...wait..you can talk..?" He spoke not knowing much about dragons"how..?". He had almost forgotten about the embarrassing moment he had just before.

Lucia was, to say the least, a bit confused. Some random person had just come up to her and introduced themselves. They looked...quite peculiar, to say the least. They definitely did not look like someone Lucia would want to get on the bad side of, that was for certain. So, she decided to do the polite and respectable thing and introduce herself. Or at least that's what she would've done if she hadn't heard an odd sound, and watched Asura walk off. She just stood there for a moment, staring in front of her at pretty much nothing, even more confused than before. After a second or two she just decided to pretend absolutely nothing had just happened and to continue exploring the academy. "Just keep walking." She mutters to herself, making a strategic retreat.

Iria was, to say the least, not exactly happy about the fact that Lucia's roommate was awake. After all, she had told Lucia that she wouldn't wake her roommate up. Granted she wasn't exactly sure if she was the one who woke her up, but, she kind of just assumed she was. She'd probably just discharged a bit of electricity and accidentally shocked the girl, or at least that's what she assumed. She was even less happy about the fact that said person seemed to be trying to touch her. She quickly darted off of the bed into a corner of the room, staring silently Lucia's roommate. Iria had promised to behave herself, so, shocking Lucia's roommate was most certainly out of the question at the moment, even if it was sort of in self defense because she was worried that this person may or may not have intent to harm her, or to pluck out one of her feathers. Either way, she decided it would probably be better for her to be cautious and remain at a distance.

Smoke peered around Asura to see the girl leaving. He snapped back to Asura before looking him over and smiling.
"Yes I can talk. Im not a troll." Smoke said before transforming back to his human state. His sky blue eyes alight, and his thin blue lips smiling up at Asura. Smoke looked feminine with his longer hair, clothing that covered him, and his young and cute face.

Asura turned back around expecting to see the person whom he failed to introduce himself to just a moment ago only to realize she was walking away. He supposed it was rude of him to just turn His back to her so suddenly. "Um..hey.." He called out to her "sorry I didn't mean to just walk away like that" as he spoke he stood beside the dragon he had just met. And as he took a second look realized he had transformed. An immediate click of recognition happened. "Oh your the kid who was sleeping In My room!..so my roommate?" Asura noted

Nearly half an hour had passed before Jaya stirred in her sleep, with the movement of her head causing the flame sprite to fall off of it. The orb of purple fire tumbled down to the table, and upon landing let out an irritable growl. Levitating itself up, Violet turned to look at her sleeping keeper. The adventurer's face was turned on it's side, her left cheek now resting against the open pages of the book she was reading.

Violet moved around from the back of Jaya's head to see her face on the other side. She was sound asleep, though Violet took notice of the fact that its owner was drooling all over the book while in her slumber. Furrowing it's brow, the sprite raised its hand to its face in embarrassment and disappointment. It then pinched Jaya's cheek, pulling it harshly. In response, her eyes shot open, and she instinctively swatted the air in front of her face, hitting Violet. The sudden contact caught the flame off guard, causing it to be sent flying off of the table as it screeched in surprise. The sound brought Jaya back to her senses as she became aware of her surroundings and looked to the floor to see her pet had recovered from the fall. The creature stared into Jaya's eyes with a burning intensity, and let out a low hiss to show it's irritation.

Jaya chuckled nervously as she scratched the back of her head. "Hah... Sorry, Vi." She then shrugged her shoulders with a look of embarrassment. "No hard feelin's, right?" The flame narrowed its eyes before turning itself around and darting off on a path out of the library. Jaya immediately took off, worried of losing track of her team mate and having it stir up trouble. She kept good pace with the sprite always managing to be several strides behind it. After chasing the flame through several corridors the chase was brought to a stop. Violet didn't manage to see another student who was walking about the school step in front of its path, causing the sprite to collide with the young man's face. Upon impact Violet reached around the turquoise haired boy's head( Captain Spooks Captain Spooks ), and held itself there. Jaya finally came to a stop in front of the boy, and tried to catch her breath but what came out instead was a large fit of laughter. She slapped her hand on the shoulder of the boy's denim jacket, letting out a flurry of howling laughter.

Yuuki walked into the school, her luggage bag dragging behind her. She already knew what dorm room she was in, and so she walked to it, taking little more than a minute to reach her room, and another two minutes to unpack everything and get the items into their proper places. She sat slowly down on the bed, the first human-speed movement she had made all day. She had ran all the way to the Academy, and her legs twitched slightly from the sudden, slow movements. She pulled a vial full of a dark red liquid from her breast pocket, and unstopped it. She drank it quickly, and wiped her mouth with the back of her hand, once again rushing her movements. Her eyes blinked quickly as well, until she willed them to slow down on the blink thing. Leaning back against a comfy black pillow, Yuuki closed her eyes, and thought of her hometown. And of the long, heavy sword in her luggage bag. Her eyes opened and flickered to the bag, before closing again. No.... it's too soon. Father warned me that I needed to try to socialize before alienating everyone with my sword skills.

Lucia immediately dead in her tracks. She wasn't exactly eager to go back and introduce herself, which was pretty much the exact reason she had been attempting to walk away with being noticed, but if she kept walking away it would probably be considered rude, and she was quite worried that doing something like that would have future ramifications, partially due to the fact that Asura looked quite intimidating, and as much as she disliked making assumptions, she'd still rather not get on the bad side of someone intimidating looking on her first day at this academy. She could try to make a run for it, but if she did there was at least a slight chance that he'd end up following her. This was quite the dilemma. She just stood there, completely unsure of what to do.

Asura took a step closer to the girl who made a sudden stop but did not turn around. "You alright?" He asked as he walked up to her tapping her shoulder. As he moved his arm it creaked again. But he ignored it. "Sorry if I came off the wrong way...my names Asura..whats yours?" As he spoke he walked to take a stand in front of her. Although he tried to smile politely to look kind it had the exact opposite effect making his face look even more intimidating.

Smoke pouted and transformed again. He preferred this form, it was cooler than being a boring human. He hated being ignored but if Asura wanted to be madly in love with some girl (No offense meant to either of you!) so be it. Smoke stormed off in the opposite direction back towards his dorm.

On his way back he saw a girl dragging her bag on the floor. 'Maybe I should help? She seems to be having troubl-' Smokes thought were cut off by a quick look at Yuukis face. 'Oh my God! Shes gorgeous!' He trotted a bit faster but wasn't fast enough. He whimpered before scratching at the tile in front of the door. It left shallow claw marks but enough noise to get attention.

Lucia sighed, trying her best to keep from looking intimidated. "I'm, uh, I'm fine, sorry. Anyway, my name is Lucia. It's, uh, nice to meet you Asura." She says rather awkwardly. This was definitely not a situation she wanted to be in. Lucia was trying to think of some way to distract Asura so she could make a break for it, but couldn't really think of anything. Or at least anything that would actually be likely to work. It looked like she was actually going to have to try and hold a conversation with this guy. Not exactly the best situation for her to be in.
