Felicia looked towards Jasper blinking a bit at his reaction. Maybe her expression wasn't good? Did she do it too half-heartedly? She had tried her best to express a smile and show an upbeat tone. Maybe it was the wrong way to make a greeting. The books always confused her exactly how it was suppose to work. Did she comes off as if she needed something. It made her a bit uneasy. Then again maybe she was over-thinking it. It was best she just kept a calm head and relaxed. it wasn't really like her to have so many feelings peeking their way up in her mind. It wasn't a very good thing all things considered what she was.

"Oh, I don't need anything I just saw you and... I assumed you were going to the common room and... just wondered how you are." She spoke feeling as if she needed to speak more round about on the subject. She felt like all the things she went through were far in comparison compared to Jasper and the others. It felt as if she might step on some toes if she asked the wrong thing. She knew her own response would of simply been apathy if she had gone through what the others had. It was just in her nature to suppress her emotions. She didn't know what even the limit would be before it might upset him if she tried to bring stuff up.

Oh wait! Her other book! If her more active approach didn't work perhaps taking a lighter appraoch was better.

"You are looking really great today." A compliment, though delivered in a bit more plain way then probably she was suppose to deliver it lacking much enthusiasm. Then again perhaps it was best to be more muted with her reaction.

Jasper watched as Felicia blinked, obviously thinking hard. Apparently his reaction hadn't been quite what she had been expecting. The strange little telekinetic always seemed a bit, off, when dealing with other people. Jasper wondered what kind of childhood the young woman had endured. Her next words confirmed Jasper's thoughts, this young woman didn't know how to interact with people.

"Oh, I don't need anything I just saw you and... I assumed you were going to the common room and... just wondered how you are."

Before Jasper could speak, Felicia got a kind of muted 'eureka' look on her face and spoke again.

"You are looking really great today."

This was delivered with a perfect, deadpan expression and Jasper lost it. He began to chuckle, softly at first, then louder and louder until he was bent over with laughter. It hurt of course, everything hurt still, but he couldn't stop laughing, and the longer he laughed, the less it hurt. Finally, he managed to regain control and look at Felicia, who apparently had no idea what had just happened.

"I'm guessing that you don't actually talk with folks a lot," he said, wiping his eyes and smiling. "And I'm willing to bet that you almost never try to make small-talk with anyone. No offense intended here, but it's almost like you're parroting out of a social interaction manual or something. Haven't you ever just sat down and talked to someone?"

Jasper turned towards the common room, then gestured for Felicia to come with him.

"Let's go scrounge up some coffee and you can tell me what led you to say what you did, and I can tell you why I found it amusing."

Theo sighed. Apparently the 'handsome' label wasn't going to be going away any time soon. In any case, it seemed this wasn't going to be an easy case of 'drop off the drunk' he'd need help. He recalled some of his teammates from the mission into pandora's box drank a lot. Perhaps they knew better how to handle Hermione.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Hermione." He replied, making his voice even and steady as if by acting as not-drunk as he could it would somehow sober her up. "I don't know the direction to your house, but I expect we can find someone who can. If you're willing to come with me, I can bring you to meet them." Slowly, painfully, Theo began guiding Hermione through the building and towards his common room. It was a slower walk than it could have been, but Theo made sure to take less-traveled hallways so as to minimize the chance of running into any officials. Not to mention guiding a drunk satyr wasn't exactly a walk in the park, but Theo managed.

Soon enough they had arrived outside the door for the common room. Something told Theo it was probably better not to have Hermione suddenly pop into the room without warning. Positioning himself carefully, Theo cracked open the door and leaned into the room. Felicia and Jasper were inside. He'd hoped to find Qerres, but at this point anyone who could help him was a person he was thankful for.

"Excuse me, Sorry to interrupt, but I need some help. I've run into a... unique individual who requires assistance." Theo interjected into the room, hoping his cautious tone would be enough of a tip off that he was at somewhat of a loss and could really use some help.

Felicia cocked her head to the side a bit of bewilderment filling her as Jasper broke into laughter, the sound only building up as it went on. Her red eyes focused on him blinking confused as if to try and comprehend what it was he was laughing about. She was pretty sure she hadn't told a joke. Maybe she had accidentally used a pun? It didn't seem like she had though as far as she knew she had recited her words rather closely to what her book told her was a good way to greet someone. Perhaps it was quickly jumping between topics, the book didn't seem to talk about doing that?

She didn't talk to people much? Was it that transparent? She looked quite neutral at him not seeming really respond much physically with just her eyes focused on him being the best sign she was listening. Perhaps it was something she should feel upset about though fortunately for her (or perhaps unfortunately depending on how you looked at it) it didn't phase her outside realizing she must of bungled up her greeting. I mean how did she manage a life tlaking and yet her jokes she had attempted before only got a few chuckles from other people. She reached down as if to grab at her social interaction book to pull it from her pocket only to blink as he mentioned it specifically giving a nod.

"Ah, sure." She spoke feeling a sense of delight being asked to go somewhere to talk. She had hoped it was something she would of had more of though Pandora managed to disrupt that a bit more then she could of imagined. Her head turned as the two began to head towards the common room entering into it just barely getting in. A familiar voice spoke up causing Felicia to turn. Theo stood there poking his head in. She looked on a ting of happiness filling her seeing another familiar face coming up to her. It felt like some sort of strange reunion, one she was happy to get to experience. Her lips quivering as if to put a smile on... not quite making it though the corner of her lips curving just ever so microscopically upward. Progress as one might say!

"Assistance? Unique individual?" She repeated glancing over to him not quite certain what he was talking about. It didn't take long for her nose to pick up a faint whiff of an odor. The smell a bit foul, not something one would need to comment on immediately though that could likely disrupt conversation and be kept at the back of their mind. It was something most would consider a faux pas to bring up. Naturally she was going to not understanding better, and his other inquiry only able to associate with one other thing though with much more childish innocence or more so matter of fact.

"Do you.. require assistance in taking a bath? I might be able to help with that, but I believe an Urologist will be far better suited to dealing with such a personal problem with that portion of your body you might be dealing with. Unless Jasper has access to magic to deal with such a medical ailment?" She spoke completely straight without the slightest bit of waivering in her tone of voice glancing over to Jasper briefly before turning back to Theo. She was learning a lot of new things about social interactions and what people usually spoke like to each other.

"Ah, sure," Felicia replied, and Jasper hid a smile. He wasn't certain anyone would every understand the little esper, but if he could help her out a bit, he would certainly...

Something wasn't right. Jasper looked around, trying to sort out what was setting of his combat instincts, when a wave of warm air struck him, carrying with it a nauseating odor, redolent with the effluvia of sour win, sour beer, and some not quite identifiable odor that made Jasper think of a stockyard baking under a summer sun. He coughed, his eyes watering as a familiar voice spoke.

"Excuse me, Sorry to interrupt, but I need some help. I've run into a... unique individual who requires assistance."

The voice belonged to Theo, the fire mage who had been on the mission into Pandora's box. Jasper hadn't seen him around, but then again, Theo had been greatly affected by the box. Maybe he had been recovering?

"Assistance? Unique individual?" Felicia asked before Jasper could form a response. "Do you.. require assistance in taking a bath? I might be able to help with that, but I believe an Urologist will be far better suited to dealing with such a personal problem with that portion of your body you might be dealing with. Unless Jasper has access to magic to deal with such a medical ailment?"

Jasper turned to see Theo leaning into the common room from on of the outside doors, and a fresh wave of stench assaulted Jasper's nose as another wave of warm air entered from the open door. What in the Goddess' name was going on out there? Rather than call out, Jasper crossed to the door in three quick strides and pulled it all the way open, causing Theo to pull back, and looked out. For a moment, he couldn't see anything as his eyes adjusted, but then movement pulled his attention to a humanoid figure standing, well more like slouching against the wall, behind Theo. The figure was clad, for certain values of clad, in clothes that looked as though they had come directly from the local landfill, so crusted with dirt, dried vomit, and other, less identifiable substances were they. Brown furred, back curving legs ending in cloven hooves and back curled horns, along with large, pointed ears sticking out of an unruly mop of shaggy hair told Jasper that the figure was a satyr, and protrusions in the upper body and a face which might be delicate, if it weren't as caked with detritus as the 'clothing' she wore, identified the figure as female. She was looking at a wineskin with eyes that managed to be glazed and bemused at the same time, as if trying to understand something about it. For a moment Jasper thought his eyes were playing tricks on him, since every satyr he had ever met had taken pains with their appearance, but no, the figure was definitely a female satyr. And one he was mortally certain was NOT a member of SMITED.

"Theo," Jasper said carefully, "Where did you find this, individual, and why haven't you introduced her to Agent Griffon at Security?"

Hermy shook out her head with a sniff as Theo spoke evenly like a text-to-speech AI. Why did so many people talk like that? Granted, Hermy knew for a fact that she made no sense to people either but at least her voice had some kind of inflection. The Satyr rolled her shoulders before slowly following the man down the halls. "Urgh... this shit looks too perfect. Feels like 'The Island'. Y'ever see that movie? About the asshole cloned from another asshole and he frees all the other clone-assholes? Eh. At least Ewan MacGregor is pretty hot." She stopped talking at that point, not that she wanted to or she didn't have anything to say, it was more that her voice was sore from screaming. At least she thought she had been screaming, it could be something else.

So there she went to follow Handsome down the hallways. If you could call weaving from wall to wall, grumbling obscenities under her breath 'following'. It was at this point that she only just started to wonder where exactly she had wandered into. Everything was so organised it was quite spooky. The last time she had been in a place of organisation was the orphanage... so needless to say Hermy was not a fan of organisation. People who needed this kind of order tended to be uptight windbags who kick around little Satyrs for daring to be born with goat legs rather than in their precious, perfect image.

The walk was long (at least it felt long) until they came to a door. While Theo poked in his head, Hermy hummed aimlessly against a wall, nibbling on her nails. All she wanted at this point was to just get out of here and get home. There was not much of a goal for the Satyr outside of this. Be sent on her way to continue wandering aimlessly. As they walked, the Satyr still made several attempts to get whatever last drips she could get out of her wineskin. The gods loved a trier. Eventually they came to a door and Theo poked his head in to speak to two people she could not see. Not that the Satyr wanted to. What did they expect to her to do? Bust in with a "WHAT'S UP YE WANKAHS?!" or something? The last time reaped... not-pleasant results. So nah, she wasn't going to be doing that. Let Handsome do the talking, that should work.

However, in her wandering mind, two words slipped through into her wine sodden skull. The Satyress was jumped out of her drunken daze, slightly frozen. A bath? With water?! There was a sudden flash in Hermy's dull eyes as the one sharp side of her mind surged back to being trapped, unable to breathe, move or even blink. The Satyress did realise that the voice in the door seemed to believe that it was Theo who needed a wash, maybe this could work. She'd risk being around a little water to see that hunk undressed. But then there was the image of an Urologist working on him and that interest faded. Puffing her cheeks in a suppressed belch, Hermy darted her eyes a little and took a couple of shaky steps backwards. If she was quiet enough, maybe she could find her own way out of here...

"Where did you find this, individual, and why haven't you introduced her to Agent Griffon at Security?"

"
BWAAH- NO!" With a panicked bleat, she could only make an attempt to run. However, hooves, a slippery floor and drunk senses was a toxic mix and Hermy did not quite know what happened in the next five seconds, but there was a loud clang and the Satyr found herself unable to move. There was a ringing within her right horn, closest to the wall. Everything could move apart from her head. "Bwaah-?! What the Underworld-!? Horn stuck! HORN STUCK!" Even with her boozy mind, Hermy knew she had been licked. "...skatá."

Jasper groaned internally as the satyr took exception to his suggestion about her meeting security, and tried to turn and run. Her hooves went out from under her, and her head made sudden and violent contact with the wall. Her limns thrashed about wildly for a moment, then she sagged against the wall, supported by one horn that appeared embedded in the tough composite.

"Bwaah-?! What the Underworld-!? Horn stuck! HORN STUCK! ...skatá."

"Calm down!" Jasper said forcefully, trying to penetrate the drunken haze the satyr seemed to be in. "You brought this on yourself, now hold still while I get you out of it."

Moving carefully around the satyr, staying out of range of a kick, intentional or otherwise, Jasper studied the point where the horn went into the wall. Thank the Goddess the drunken, person, hadn't managed to hit any of the electrical or water lines inside the wall, or the situation would have been a whole lot more complicated, and messy. The horn appeared to be held in place by a combination of the curvature of it, and the satyr's own body weight. The awkward angle meant there was no way she was going to free herself. Jasper actually considered leaving her there and calling maintenance and security, but then he thought better of it.

"She'd probably panic and break her fool neck trying to get free," he thought grimly. "Best to get her up on her own... hooves before exposing her to anyone else."

"Hold very, very still," he said to the satyr, blue-white fire beginning to run along the glyph's tattooed on his body. "This might hurt, but you won't be stuck anymore."

Grasping the horn near the base, he didn't want to snap it off after all, Jasper put one foot up against the wall and tugged. The horn didn't budge. Grumbling to himself, Jasper pushed more power into the tattoos and tugged again, feeling the horn shift and start to emerge from the wall. One more tug, this time with the full strength of his enhanced muscles, and the horn came free with a sickening screeching sound. Jasper felt his hand holding the horn turning slick with something, and he looked down, finding a deep gouge in the horn welling dark blood. It seemed that a rough edge had gouged out a furrow deep into the horn itself.

"Well, that explains why it was tough to remove," Jasper thought.

"Sorry," he said the the satyr, keeping a firm grip on her to prevent thrashing. "Let me fix that before you bleed over everything and everyone."

Reaching into his belt pouch with his free hand, Jasper's fingers went unerringly to the right compartment, coming out with a carved disk of wood and metal. He pressed it to the injured horn and concentrated, invoking the spell he had so laboriously packed into the Trinket. A flood of golden light erupted from the disk, bathing the injured horn in light. Jasper watched in satisfaction as the healing charm knitted the ragged gash in the horn, leaving behind a thin line just a bit paler than the rest of the horn.

"There," he said. "Good as new. Now Theo, please escort your friend here to the Administrative Center. She needs to speak to someone with more authority than us, and since she seems to panic over the idea of speaking to Agent Griffon, perhaps one of the administrative assistants would be more her speed."

Every was a fuzz as one of the people from the room came out to assist her. The Satyr kicked in an attempt to free herself from the wall, but her horn was stuck pretty damn good. Somehow. Honestly she did not understand how she managed it herself. Everything she did was an enigma even to herself. However, Hermy did stop as she noticed the sudden glow from the man's tattoos. The only time she had ever seen that was that one guy who got his tats from a back alley artist. Everybody was impressed by his glow-in-the-dark-tattoos... except for the guy himself who was unaware of it. She never heard about him again. Sometimes she did wonder what came of that guy.

The shock of this was too much for the Satyr as, with a short yelp escaping from her suddenly constricted voice box as she felt all of her muscles suddenly stiffen and become rigid. "Urgh Mitéra tou Pan-! " she managed to squeak out before the paralysis took over her body and the Satyr became stiff as a board. Inwardly, the Satyr groaned. Why the Underworld did her body do this? It was a rare enough of a occurrence that it was not too much of a bother, but even those rare situations was still too many. The worst by far was that experience at the pool, but thankfully all it caused for now was for her to go limp which would probably be more helpful than a hindrance. Still, that didn't stop them from telling her to hold still. All the Satyress could do was just allow it to happen. That seemed to be a running theme in her life; just let things happen.

Unable to talk, the Satyr internally cursed everybody in this hallway as the man managed to remove her horn from the wall. Now there were mentions of blood? Maybe it was the level of inebriation or some kind of whacked-out pain tolerance, but the Satyress was totally unaware of any kind of injury she had. All the flashing lights hurt her eyes and this whole thing was just so confusing and out there, when the feeling finally began to return to her body, her legs kicked a little instinctively but once she regained her subpar-motor skills, all the Satyr could do was sit upright on the floor, befuzzled. She looked between Theo and Jasper, then back again, a bit lost on what to do or say. "Uh...efcharistó?" And, almost as if the last few minutes hadn't happened, she grabbed her wineskin and gave it a shake, as if that would magically fill it. There had to be something in it to help her figure out what on earth had just happened. This pink-elephants episode was taking some very wild turns. "...So if either of you hunks could show me to the exit I'll be outta here like a fart in the wind."
