Serik made another quick glance at the thunder bird in the sky as Marylka commented about the two new comers. She clearly was very cautious about them and questioned about their unexpected encounter. While Serik would normally open up nicely to new people, especially those that are on the same page with him... In this case being targeted by deathborns and willing to lend a hand in the fight against them, Marylka did have a point... Trust would have to be earned, especially with such a risky and unpredictable task involved. However, the group didn't have a cleared lead to where Danubey really was, so trusting this new fellow to guide them could really save them a lot of time.

The group agreed to reform back in the sky so they wouldn't be so exposed in the middle of the endless sand. Serik looked at Marylka and Aldaf who seemed to discuss about cover maintenance again. Those two and Gerel had been handling the cloud that cover them for hours... And although they were much more adept in their magical skill than Serik was, the young man couldn't help but feel tired in their place.

An idea came into his mind and Serik rode Valkyrie closer toward Marylka and Aldaf. "Hey, I just-" Serik was about to speak when suddenly a large figure darted from the sky and slid past Serik and his skybeast from behind, spooking Valkyrie into making a sharp wail... But more importantly, it bumped into Jeff the Kirin and sent the legendary winged horse tumbled on the ground, taking Gerel who was talking with Kari with him... Turned out it was just Falarion the winged panther, seemingly wanting to impress the winged panther owned by one of the new comers. Leandra was seen clinging tightly on the panther's back, clearly not amused by her skybeast's performance...

Serik and Valkyrie stopped to watch shenanigan going on but then snapped back to his business. "...Anyway, You two and Gerel had been handling with the cloud since the beginning. I think I could help taking a shift... Don't want you all to tire yourself using magic all the way. After all, we don't really need a real cloud, right?" Said Serik as he lifted his hands up. In an instant, a tiny little cloud emerged from thin air, floating in front of Serik to proving his point. While it's a night time, the moon light would be enough for Serik to created a large bank of false cloud.

Falarion actually has brightly colored wings that have a rainbow hue in bright lighting. In darker settings, they can seem muted into a dark grey or even black color. He also does not have the golden tattoos spanning his body or the necklace around his neck.

Falarion stood up slowly from his bow and folded his wings in while holding his head high. He looked Selene in the eyes and saw he had most definitely impressed her. Pride flowed through him and Leandra nearly gagged at the overwhelming emotion.
Unfortunately, Selene's companion did not seem to care for this to drag on and Leandra could feel Falarion's disappointment as Selene's companion mounted her and then the two took flight. Falarion watched Selene perform an effortless somersault and Leandra could feel excitement welling up inside of him through their connection.
As Falarion's muscles tensed, Leandra snapped, "Oh no you don't!"
Falarion froze before taking flight and turned his head to try and look at Leandra.
"You had your fun once, I don't want to lose my last meal, Fal."
Chided, Falarion sighed and then took flight, but did not perform any aerial maneuvers. He instead caught up with the group and Leandra began looking around for Jeff and Gerel. Whether Falarion had it on his mind or not, Leandra knew an apology was due to both of them after his antics.
Still though, she felt her own eyes drawn back to the newcomers and while the thunderbird was a very unique addition to the group, she felt more drawn to the panther and her companion. Perhaps it was Falarion's feelings bleeding into her own, or perhaps she herself felt drawn to the newer people. A mixture of emotions swelled through her and Leandra wondered if she could perhaps have better luck befriending the newcomers. Not that she did not already have friends, but she had felt rather disconnected from the old group as of late.

Aldaf blinked and cleared his throat. He turned to Serik, who'd spoken to him and Marylka about the cloud cover.

"Ah, yeah. Thats probably a good idea, Serik. Though I'd ask you not wear yourself out either." He offered a small smile and pat Spica's head.

He turned back to the others and called out. "We ARE still going, yeah? Feels like we've been standing around for months at this point!" He chuckled but stopped as he spoke again.

"But in all seriousness, we have to keep moving. We don't have much time, and only the gods know how much time we have. I understand the newcomers should be told a bit about what's going on, but we should do it on the move."

...

Spica heard Aldaf trying to rouse the others to action and did the same for the skybeasts, growling and speaking to them.

"The man they're looking for is in trouble, threatened by those bony creatures. He needs our help." She said, trying to sway the Skybeasts to at least get a move on.
