She did struggle in school due to learning disabilities, but always had friends.

Background: From a broken home, Elijah lives with his mother and younger sister. While his relationship with his sister is pretty good, he and his mother don't get along very well. He was there to see his dad abuse his mom. Saw his mom get hooked on drugs after finally leaving his dad. And as a result Elijah developed a smoking habit to help relieve his stress. He also uses alternative music and working on old junk cars to pass the time between school and working a part time job at a grocery store. He dreams of going to college and furthering his education so he can provide a brighter future for himself and his sister.
