Intro: Edom was a parallel world in the Shadowhunters universe that contained it's own Shadowhunters but was at much disadvantage without Iron Sisters, Silent Brothers, and the help of the Downworld. Assiah, is another one of these parallel worlds that contain Shadowhunters and have to fight off a demon incursion. They have their own Silent Brother, Iron Sisters, Clave, Accords, etc. So they were not doomed to fail like the inhabitants of Edom. However, that may soon change with recent events taking a dark turn in the world of Assiah.
Assiah is a very Eastern fantasy like world, they say the stories like Journey to the West was actually written about Assiah. The very name of world reminiscent of the continent it seems to heavily favor. Except, Assiah hasn't advanced much beyond the middle age Asian infrastructure. They have vehicles, electricity, and somewhat modern fashion. They do not have computers, skyscrapers, and anything that can be seen as truly modern. They say the Shadowhunters of this world are much better for it. As martial arts in this world have developed further for the lack of modern forms of fighting such as firearms.
About: So basically this RP takes place in an eastern fantasy parallel world called Assiah which is another world that Raziel created Nephilim, it resembles pretty much the the world seen in Into the Badlands where there are some modern elements and some feudal times elements. The demons that assault this world will fully encompass all belief systems not just Judeo Christian belief systems. So expect to see Greater Demons like Zagan just as much as Great Demons like the Nurarihyon and Angra Mainyu. Our characters will be Shadowhunters and Downworlders within the realm of Assiah but do not have to be natives of Assiah. If the RP goes on long enough maybe some it can take place on Earth.
