When they meet, he gives your character the name Hugh Mann because he’s pretending to be human and it’s the only thing he can think of.

Name: Vanessa Cloverson
Personality: Easy going, people person but generally shy, strong moral compass, soft spoken and not one to bring attention to herself.

Samael was not happy about being sent to Earth. It was a task they knew they had to undertake since their Father Himself had ordered it, but it didn’t mean they had to be happy about it. Earth just wasn’t their forte. Some of the other angels absolutely adored it, cooing about humans and how adorable they were and how primitive and cute and how curious they were when they did things that were so clearly not the best for them. They were celestials and obviously they understood more than these mere mortals they had watched grow from single-celled organisms did.

But little did the single-celled creations know that their very lives were in Samael’s hands because God Himself was debating whether or not he should scrap the project. It was Samael’s job to scour the Earth and determine whether or not it was worthy of being able to continue on with its life. If they determined it worthy, then the earth would remain. If they determined that it was useless, than poof, and the Earth and everything on it was on.

Samael hoped this wouldn’t take too long. They had never needed to use a glamour before since they seldom left heaven so they weren’t sure how long they could keep one up as they would have to the entire time they were on Earth. Their glamour must be alright, they thought as they travelled down the street with a human notepad and pen held tightly in their hands. They weren’t drawing attention. That was good because Samael wanted to know what life was really like and they could do that best if people weren’t trying to impress them.

Their hopes werent high. Maybe, they thought, they’d be back in heaven soon.
