Welcome to the section for character sheets! I don't ask for a specific format, as I don't want to limit anyone's creativity. I trust that you know your character/s better than I do, and can therefore describe what you think is important about them. You don't need an image, but you can include one if you desire. I do ask that you include obvious/important information alongside your descriptions, such as devil fruit powers, species (if nonhuman), and eventual role in the crew.

Name:
Sylvix "Orca" Shockt
Nickname/s:
Orca | Vix
Sylvix usually introduces himself as Orca. It sticks, and most people address him by that name.
Age:
19
Sexuality:
Aromantic/Bisexual
Gender:
Trans-Male
Vix was able to completely alter his body's composition by interacting with the current user of the Horu Horu no Mi (Previously Ivankov's devil fruit). He currently possesses the body of any other male.
Crew Role:
Strategist
Devil Fruit:
Mirage-Mirage Fruit | Genso-Genso no MI
This devil fruit allows its user to create hallucinations/mirages that dictate what other people (and the user themselves) see. It does not actually alter the physical world itself, but rather people's perception of it. This ability is good for psychological warfare rather than physical damage.
Origins:
Sylvix originates from a small, snowy, cold island in the North Blue. He grew up hunting monstrous-looking caribou and trapping snow hares. Due to his blunt personality and silence, he was given the middle/hunter's name "Orca," after the silent, ginormous sea-monster killers that lied in wait in the dark waters. After becoming acknowledged as a hunter in his village, Sylvix left his cold and unwelcoming hometown at sixteen and traveled, hoping to find some way to feel more comfortable in the body he had been cursed with. Eventually, he ended up coming in contact with the Revolutionary Army, and met the current owner of the Horu Horu no Mi. The devil fruit user helped Vix to finally change his body, and in return for the tremendous favor he agreed to work under the current leaders of the Revolutionaries. This is where he ended up eating a devil fruit and gaining the powers of the Mirage-Mirage Fruit. He currently works on many different missions across the four oceans, mainly alone.
Physical Description:
Sylvix is quite short, standing only at 5"1. He is leanly muscular, with less bulk and more speed to his compact figure. His hair is fine and snow-white, coming down in messy bangs that hang in his face. Vix's eyes are a cloudy white color-- it's a physical characteristic of his hometown, and does not interfere with his sense of sight. His eyes look dull and half-closed, as if he is constantly bored or fighting off the urge to fall asleep. As for clothes, Sylvix keeps any outfits simple, usually wearing some sort of black, long-sleeved shirt that gently hugs his form. Along with this, he wears some sort of black pants in a similar athletic-type fabric, with shorts and a thin utility belt overtop. He holds useful things in the small pouches, mainly for hunting or fighting (knives, thin rope, etc.). His outfit is a dark contrast to his pale skin, further cementing his hunter's name of Orca.
orcafc.PNG

(I don't have any artistic skill to draw myself, so this is a FC I found that is close to how I imagine Orca).
Personality:
Vix grew up in a body that was uncomfortable for himself to live in, and he felt "othered" from the rest of his peers. He was someone different, and did not fit into strict categories like the rest of them. He has always preferred to complete tasks alone and to learn things through trial and error, rather than asking for help. He was bullied a bit by other kids in his village, and retreated into his imagination as an escape.
As an adult, Sylvix might come off as creepy or rude, as he does not always engage fully in conversations. He may stare off and daydream instead of listening, which may infuriate whoever is trying to give him orders or try to get to know him better. His voice is generally monotone and dull, and his face does not deviate much from neutral. The only time he seems to express noticeable emotion is when he finds something funny, as he will give a tiny grin or chuckle. His laugh is deep yet somehow soft and gentle. He is extremely carefree, to a point where it can become problematic. Whether something good or bad is happening to him, Vix will likely not care.
Vix prefers to live inside of his head rather than the real world, and often creates mirages/illusions for himself with his devil fruit power that depict whatever he wants to see. Sylvix is quiet and dreamy. He doesn't hate people, but it takes a lot of patience and effort to try and get to know him due to his general disinterest in relations. People perceive this as a dislike towards them, when it's really indifference.
Vix does not find interest in many things, and therefore becomes bored quite easily. If he finds a person (or activity) that sparks intrigue, he will stay around them for as long as that interest remains-- because if he lets them go, he may never find that tiny spark in his chest again.
Some people become aggravated with Sylvix, mainly because his capability to experience a wide range of emotions is blunted. People get upset with him because he does not cry during tragedies, or appears as if he doesn't care about something that they find important. Sylvix becomes frustrated and guilty with himself for not being able to experience the emotional range that others can, and that continued feeling of being "othered" contributes to him isolating even further from people.

Name: origami
Nickname/s:
Ori, centrefold, oni boy
Age:
20
Sexuality:
Straight
Gender:
Purely man!
Crew Role:
Shipwright
Devil Fruit:
Paper paper fruit: (ronbun tongue no mi) this allows origami to fold and use paper to attack. He is much like that of a special paramecia. Allowing him to survive attacks from physical, though haki and fire being one of his major weaknesses.

Anything he touches he can fold crumple and such, can be done as many times. Though not much of a power house, it's much better for him to be guarding the ship, as he could be any piece of paper
Origins:
origami originates from wano, by the age of five he was taken and sold to merchants looking for children to smuggle drugs into other countries. After a brief break on a lone island, he encountered the strange fruit and took a bite out of it. After being traded and sold, he worked for 15 years...forgetting his wano heritage.

Eventually he discovered an ornate umbrella, with the bearing symbol of a wano family crest. And much like a tiger being poked to much, he snapped and lunged at his attackers, grabbing his weapon of choice. A Konabu.

eventually finding a small rowboat, he simply let the waves take him and island, where he dubbed it 'home away from pain'.

Physical Description:
origami is by the time, an 8ft tall masculine lad, hair dark red and jagged teeth like a fishman. His build is slender with defining muscles, and eyes slightly blue. He wears a gold and black kimono, and has a pair of black piercings he dubs as "oni horns" to make him more intimidating.

Personality:
Origami is hopeless with directions, he once was told to sail a boat, and somehow made the boat capsize, on mainland....50 miles away from the Dock.

He is loyal and sees those he trusts as brothers, even picking up one's he cares about by there collar and moving them behind himself. In order to defend him.

He is easily intoxicated if he drinks too much, but still has all his wit and charm. He folds paper cranes when he is on spare time.

Name: Roisin “Crimson Witch” ó Broin
Nicknames: Rose, The Blade, Red Lass, Captain Byrne
Age: 25
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Gender: Female
Crew Role: Captain
Devil Fruit: N/A

Physical Description: Captain Byrne is a sanguine-haired, silver-eyed beauty. Her rippling mane extends passed her shoulder blades. Against her pink, blushed complexion, her bowed lips stand out like flower petals. She has an ample bosom and bottom, an hour-glass figure, and traits that would make her a desirable lady during the pirate age. However, Roisin was never the type to wear stuffy gowns. She always wore what she wanted and gowns were the last thing she’d ever see herself wearing. Roisin likes to wear practical clothing that allows her to move and run if she needs to. She doesn’t like lengthy skirts that could bunch between her legs and get caught beneath her boots. She wears what would be considered masculine clothing. Now days, wearing anything other than a gown was considered masculine.

The captain stands at 5’9” and weighs 145 lbs (66 kg). Despite her pear-shaped hips, she has an athletic build from constant walking, running, and fighting. She moves as lithe as a dancer in combat. Her hair she will often braid into a single French braid, two pig tails, cornrows, or multiple box braids. The rich, red color of her hair is her most iconic quality and has led to many giving her names with red.

On her right shoulder is a brand from her secret, past life being an infamous assassin called “The Blade.” The brand is a red, devilish pitchfork that was actually burned into her flesh when she was betrayed by her guild and given a witch’s execution. Beneath her lengthy pants, her legs up to the left side of her body is covered in rippling, burn scars.

Personality: What makes Roisin a formidable foe is her intelligence. Anyone who lays eyes on her considers her to be nothing but a pretty face. She is beautiful, and it is very misleading. The captain knows how to use her looks to her advantage and can be very deceptive in her mannerisms, playing into the uneducated maiden who thinks Mister is so handsome and strong. Roisin naturally has a friendly and approachable look that for those who don’t know her, they can easily forget or not even realize that she is not only a pirate captain, but a deadly assassin. The fact that Roisin plays into people’s natural stereotypes and prejudice so well is another tactic that makes her dangerous.

The captain usually has a plan up her sleeve. If she doesn’t have one at the moment, give her a few minutes, and her creative mind will think of one immediately. The navy even admits that her plans are often ingenious. Roisin taught herself to read and write, when she was with her guild. She has mastered the art of speech and uses it to network, build relations, and deceive enemies. She has a very playful nature as though she considers everything a game. When she was near burned to death by her guild, the trauma desensitized her. She believes she has already died and has become stronger in result. Few things worry her, which makes her reckless.

The assassin is confident in her skills and will only take a few people serious (usually past rivals). Her ashen eyes do more than look. They examine; and if the fight seems too dangerous or out of her capabilities, she will yield the floor to others more capable. It may be Roisin’s reading hobby that has made her so intelligent. In her downtime, she can always be found with a book in her hand whether it be a romance, fantasy, or memoir. Every time the ship docks, she will trade in books for new ones.

Roisin isn’t ashamed of her scars. She doesn’t wear pants to hide them out of humiliation. She wears pants because she finds them to be comfortable and practical. She uses her pockets, compartments, and belts for knives and other tricks to distract her foes in combat. Her primary weapon is a rapier.

Origin:

Roisin barely remembers her home. When she was a little girl, pirates raided her home village, and she remembers being taken away from her parents for her red hair. She was forced into slavery and spent her adolescent years with a collar around her neck. As she grew older, her beauty started to develop. Her captors wanted to use her for profit, but they didn’t get a chance. An assassin named Canary murdered the captain and feeling sorry for Roisin freed her. Having no one else, Roisin begged to go with Canary. The assassin refused and disappeared into the night. What the assassin didn’t expect was for Roisin to find her again. Impressed by Roisin’s tracking skills, Canary brought her to her secret guild known as The Death Swallows. Canary taught Roisin everything she knew. They became like sisters and were never seen apart until Roisin found herself unable to kill one target.

The target was the son of a wicked pirate captain named Zebra. Zebra had been taxing islands in the North Blue, and someone had paid The Death Swallows to assassinate his son out of revenge. Roisin had seen how loving a father Zebra was to his young and oblivious son. She refused to take the hit, which upset Canary. When Canary tried to attack Zebra’s son, Roisin countered her attempts and demonstrated skills she never wanted to show her. For years, Roisin had been holding back in order to keep her relationship with Canary, but she had discovered long ago that she had surpassed her. She had learned everything Canary could teach her and learned more on her own. She feared revealing to Canary her new skills and strengths but wanted to believe that if she ever found out she would be proud of her. When Roisin defeated Canary that day, to her dismay, Canary declared them enemies. All the good moments they shared together became a dream.

Roisin fled The Death Swallows to the South Blue where she attempted to start a new life for herself. The Death Swallows leader and Fish Man, Barracuda, personally sought out Roisin with Canary at his side. The Death Swallows defeated Roisin and wanted to make a show of her execution. Canary revealed that she was always jealous of Roisin’s beauty and was the one to suggest burning her alive like a witch. Roisin was tied to a stake above a bonfire and burned. Before she could die, one of The Death Swallows members, Genji, used his devil fruit powers to save her. A duplicate was left to burn in Roisin’s place and Genji secretly escaped with her in his arms.

Genji fled to the Torino Kingdom and left Roisin there to recover, claiming that she was now free with The Death Swallows believing her to be dead. Roisin spent three years on the island not just recovering from her burns and the permanent mark they left on her, but from everything—The Death Swallows betrayal and the loss of a good friend. Roisin one day was able to get over her slump with much therapy. She decided to start her life over, and in this new life, she wasn’t going to rely on others to give her purpose. She was going to make her own.

Roisin built infamy as The Crimson Witch. She robbed other pirates and evaded the Marines. Her goal was to build up a bounty. Next, acquire a ship and crew.

Name: Glory “Tiki” Grandeur
Nicknames: Tiki | Sunny
Age: 20
Sexuality: Bisexual
Gender: Female
Crew Role: Navigator
Devil Fruit: Mochi- Mochi fruit (Mochi Mochi no Mi): Users can create, control and transform into mochi. Any part of their body can transform into mochi (thick, viscous, white paste) and be manipulated and formed into various shapes such as fists and spiked clubs. The mochi is edible and can lose its stickiness in contact with sufficient amounts of water.

Physical Description: Tiki is 160 cm tall and has a large scar across her chest and abdomen. She has a small body frame but has gotten a little more muscular after embarking on a journey trying to save her brother. Tiki has a small butterfly tattoo on her ankle that covers her birthmark. She has purple curly hair that tends to get frizzy in the humid environment that she lives in and therefore likes to pineapple her hair, and in some occasions, braid it as well. Her favourite outfit consists of a bright pink short-sleeved shirt and big high-waisted black pants. She usually wears sandals but sometimes steals her older brother’s boots. Her eyes are black and she has thick feathery eyebrows that frame her small and round face in a way that softens and balances it.

Personality: She is agreeable, passionate, wants to believe the best in every person and hates violence. Tiki often tries to negotiate and solve conflicts as peacefully as possible. She has an empathetic, good-natured, kind-hearted and optimistic personality which causes people to often underestimate her. However, she has a hard time forgiving people who’ve hurt her and the people she cherishes. Her brother often calls her “Sunny” because of her warm and positive personality. People often assume that she is the underdog, mostly because of her size and bright disposition, but she proves that she is intelligent and fearless when she needs to be. Her biggest fear is being seen as weak or useless and often needs to be right. This causes her to sometimes not think things through and make impulsive and rash decisions that might put her in danger. Tikis hates confrontations and bottles up her negative emotions and frustration. She often immerses herself in her work in order to avoid dealing with her emotions. She doesn’t like being among other people when she feels anxious or sad. She also feels obligated to only show her positive and happy side to others. Her special talent is her reliable memory and good eyesight.

Origin: Wanting to prove that she is more than her brother, Qibli, thinks she is, she followed three bandits in an attempt to stop them from selling her brother’s location. Tiki and Qibli are five years apart and ever since she can remember he’s been the one raising her. She often thought about who her parents might be and used to tell other kids that her father and mother were pirates with powers stronger than every devil fruit combined. Tiki had many friends growing up, because of her friendliness and wild and imaginative storytelling abilities. Qibli one day disappeared, on her 20th birthday to be exact, and returned several weeks later with a sack full of gold and said that they need to leave immediately. They travelled across the desert and while camping outside the main city, waiting for the officials to finally grant them permission to reside there, Tiki overhears bandits plotting to sell Qiblis location. And that’s when a dangerous and absurd idea struck her. She’s going to be the one saving her brother and become the hero for once. However, tailing her targets was a lot more difficult than she’d imagined and had to learn, with the help of an old sailor, how to sail and navigate. On that boat, Tiki found an odd looking fruit and took a bite so that she could finally end her hunger. She ends up gaining the power of the mochi-mochi fruit and catches up after a few days to the bandits and tries to negotiate with them. That fails of course and she ends up using the powers of the mochi mochi fruit for the first time. Feeling like she still has a lot more to learn about her powers and wants to become an expert at navigating, Tiki decides to stay with the sailor a little longer.

Name:
Marionette "Power Keg" Wasp

Nickname:
Power Keg, Mari, Puppet.

Age:
25

Sexuality:
Unknown, she has not had enough experience in this department to have settled on a decision.

Gender:
Female

Crew role:
Quartermaster (in charge of supplies, money ect…)

Devil fruit:
Bomu Bomu no Mi (Bomb-Bomb fruit) is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to make any part of their body explode, whether it be their limbs, hair, mucus, or even breath, making the user a Bomb Human. The fruit also grants immunity against all other explosions, as well as the ability to evaluate their qualit.

Origins:
Marionette was born into a family that did not love her; she was nothing more than a tool to them, someone who deserved the name Marionette, a Puppet.

Marionette was born for one reason and one reason only: to work. She was born into an extremely wealthy family that dealt heavily in black market trade. Whatever they could get their hands on, from humans to weapons to drugs, the Wasp family would sell and try to make a profit no matter who they sold to.

Marionette was the youngest of six children and the last child that the family's heads, Francis and Elizabeth, decided they wanted. The other six of her siblings were treated with love and received whatever they desired, but Marionette was different.

Marionette was taught a variety of subjects from a young age, including calligraphy, etiquette, cooking, cleaning, bookkeeping, and even how to fight and shoot. To Marionette, this was the norm, and she was assigned to work as an assistant to her family, obtaining whatever they required. This was her destiny in life, to assist her family in whatever way they saw fit; her father had instilled this in her from the start, with the ultimate goal of making her his personal assistant and bodyguard.

For the first 15 years of her life, she mostly helped around the house and looked after her older siblings in whatever capacity they required. Hungry, she cooked for them; wanting new clothes, she shopped for them; and when someone looked at them improperly, she made sure they didn't do it again. One of these occurrences persuaded her father that she was ready to join him in his business.

Rikko, the family's oldest daughter, had left a note stating that she was fleeing to be with the man of her dreams and that she would never return home. The man in question was Captain Davis, a low-ranking pirate with only a 3000 beli bounty to his name. Marionette handed the note to her enraged father. "Did you happen to hear about this?" Marionette nodded; she was aware that Rikko was seeing this pirate, but she had expected her to first seek permission from her father, which was clearly not the case. Marionette was slapped across the face quickly. "You know we had her planned to marry, so get her back right away." Marionette nodded once more, saying, "My apologies, father; may I use any means necessary to get her back?" Francis simply nodded and handed her a pistol and ammunition bag. "Prove to me that I was right to give you all that training, and I'll lavishly reward you." This was the first time Marionette had been offered a reward for something, and despite the fact that the young girl usually hides her emotions, she couldn't help but smile.

The young 14-year-old girl went straight to the island's port, where she saw the Davis pirates, or at least one of them, standing guard outside, assuming the rest were inside. They were only a small crew of five men, and while this would be Marionette's first experience with real combat, she had been getting beaten up by grown men since the age of four, and it had been called training. Marionette approached the lookout, who only raised an eyebrow at the young girl. "You seem so familiar." The man said that he received a nod from Marionette. "Please allow me to see my sister." The man burst out laughing. "Ahhh, you've come to say goodbye to your sister, that makes sense why you look so familiar, go right in." Marionette nodded, thanked the man and walked in. It was clear from this interaction that Rikko had not been forthcoming with the Davis crew about who her family was, which was all to Marionette's advantage.

When Marionette entered the ship, she was greeted by a large open dining room-style area, with 5 people seated around a table, including Rikko and the rest of the Davis crew. Rikko was drinking and having a good time with the crew. She seemed happy to be there until her gaze fell on Marionette and her face turned white. "Sister, our father would like you to return home, and I've been assigned to accompany you." The cheerful mood abruptly vanished, and all eyes were drawn to Marionette. "Please Marionette, just leave; I don't want to go home because I love Davis." Marionette scoffed at the word love. "Love causes people to do foolish things, but you know as well as I do that father's orders are absolute, and I'm sure he'd forgive you if you came home now." Marionette extended her hand to Rikko, who was on the verge of tears when Davis intervened. "She's not going anywhere, so I think it's time you left." Marionette sighed and shucked her head, saying, "Have it your way."

Slate, Davis's second in command, took the first step, getting out of his chair and approaching Marionette, expecting to simply pick her up and throw her out. He approached with little caution until Rikko's voice warned him, "Don't go near h-" but it was too late. Rikko was one of the few who had watched Marionette train, and she knew what she could do to even the most seasoned fighters. Marionette ducked low as Slate approached, and Rikko helped her out by speaking up and distracting the man. A quick punch to his private parts sent him bending over in pain, but she wasn't done yet. With her gun in hand, she used the handle to smack it around his head, knocking him to the ground, before finally bringing her foot down directly on his temple. The other three men were star struck for a split second, not realising what had happened. Marionette took advantage of this and fired a shot at the man standing next to Davis, the bullet hitting its mark and striking him directly in the shoulder. "Captain Davis, you have a choice: surrender my sister back to me while you still have time to save your men, or these two will perish." Before Davis looked at Rikko, the remaining two exchanged sighs. "I'm not sure what's going on with your family, but I'm not losing anyone on this backwater island, so go back home I'll be back for you I swear it."

Rikko and Marionette walked home mostly silently, with Rikko saying only a few words. "I truly hate you, you heartless Puppet." Marionette nodded, "I appreciate the feedback, but how you feel about me is irrelevant; I was only doing my job."

Marionette did receive a reward when she returned home; her father gave her a strange fruit. "I heard what you did, and I'm proud of how you handled it; eat this and master its power from now on, and you'll work with me." Marionette didn't just eat this strange fruit, which she later discovered was known as a Devil fruit, and while she lost her ability to swim, she gained abilities that increased her strength to an entirely new level.

Marionette worked alongside her father for the next nine years, until she was twenty-three. She did everything he needed, from assassinations to bookkeeping, while he did the talking she did whatever he needed her to. People eventually became aware of Marionette's abilities, and many attempted to purchase her from her father, who eventually succumbed to the most unlikely buyer, his father, her grandfather. Marionette didn't expect anything to change; she expected to continue doing the same things, but he took her home, bought her some new clothes, and gave her one simple order. Make your own path in life.

She was perplexed at first, but it turned out that he had been watching her her entire life, had been disappointed in her upbringing, but had never had the power to intervene until now. He gave her enough money to live comfortably for the next few years, and she did exactly what he asked. She left her home island and has since been travelling and learning the ways of the world, which she found difficult at first, and even had some run-ins with the navy, which resulted in her amassing a small bounty. Limiting her options in life, she decided to become a pirate; all she needed to do was join a crew, and her goal was to experience all the sensations she had missed growing up the way she did.

5-11.png
Physical description:
Marionette stands at a rather tall 5'10" height. Her body is quite muscular as a result of many years of brutal practise, and it's clear that she has put in a lot of effort to get it that way. She has no scars or birthmarks and naturally pale skin that does not appear to change no matter how much she is exposed to the sun. She has long black hair that contrasts beautifully with her skin tone. She frequently leaves her hair flowing and unkempt, preferring not to do much with it and only wearing a mostly covered up headband to keep it out of her eyes. Her eyes are a piercing emerald green.

She is mostly seen wearing a long flowing blue and white garment that, while flattering on her body, does not obstruct her movement during combat. Many seemingly empty vials can be found on the inside of the garment and in the pockets.

Personality:
Marionette is usually expressionless, and she rarely expresses surprise or enthusiasm; when she does, it's usually at a low level. Marionette is astute and analytical. Her emotions are simply skewed in one direction, with one aspect becoming especially sensitive. As a result, she can easily and quickly divide people into two groups: hostile and non-hostile. This comes in handy for her day-to-day life and anything involving conflicts. She finds the concept of hatred difficult to grasp, and strong emotions such as fury, fear, despair, envy, hatred, disgust, gluttony, lust, sloth, and love appear to perplex her. Marionette, contrary to popular belief, has emotions and can be kind and caring to her friends, even if she is frequently irritated by some of them. She is also concerned about her reputation and has a sense of pride, despite the fact that she does not seek attention.

She undervalues her own abilities and constantly looks down on herself, finding it difficult to accept praise and understand the meaning behind flirtatious words. She has an inferiority complex, especially when it comes to everyday things that others recognise or can handle well. She also has a 'unexpected flaw,' according to her friends, in that she is quite slow in comprehending others' goodwill or attraction towards her, as she can only interpret them logically and frequently wonders why people would think positively of herself.

In a nutshell, her lack of emotional understanding and experience. Marionette has no memories of other feelings since childhood, so she has no idea how to respond to people who express their emotions to her, such as praising her for her personality. As a result, she may feel awkward, surprised, or unsure of how to respond. Normally, she can deal with praise for tangible accomplishments; however, when it comes to anything personal to her, she suffers from inner turmoil about how to respond and may ignore the matter if given the chance.

Surprisingly, she has a childish side to her, and while it doesn't often show, it can be seen when she discovers something new and interesting to her, in which she briefly becomes overjoyed, much like a child receiving a new toy.
