welcome to seoul's
love apartments
young love

basics

On the outskirts of Seoul lies a small apartment building full of college students; couples, budding romance, and simple friendships.
This is based on the drama, The Lover. It's the same plot except the drama includes both older and younger couples and I don't think any of them are in college.

owner

The entire building is managed by Kim Se Jun, a man in his mid-thirties who often tries to strike up conversations with tenants.

surrounding areas

- Not too far from the apartment building is a college campus. It's the reason why so many college students reside in the apartments.
- There's a small convenience store a few houses from to the building.
- There's a bar across the street.
- Kittens + mama cat lives behind the building. Tenants have claimed them as their building pets. Each couple/tenant has named the cats different things.

in-depth

So this is an open world about college students and their awkward love lives. Currently, you're allowed as many characters as you like (just don't go overboard, please). This is character driven, so you should really let me know if you'll be busy/dropping out. This is taking place in South Korea, so Korean face claims should be the majority (but not permitted**** there are foreigners in Korea ofc). If you don't want your character to be in love/in a relationship that's 100 percent ok. I used young love as a theme because young love is considered a 'beautiful' thing by old people.

BRING THE DRAMA! Maybe your character is in a relationship just for show and has no real feelings for their partner. Maybe your character catches feelings for their friend with benefits (keep it pg-13 and fade to black). Maybe your character is lonely and hates Valentine's Day with their entire body. Make them unique~

This is a combination of two different rps I made like two years ago. One was a college rp and the other was about couples in an apartment building. Both of them had nice memories so why not combine them?

The owner had thrown another one of his little parties for the tenants. This event seemed to be the worst out of all of them; it was humid out. It just made you feel sticky and uncomfortable. It wasn’t like the yard was large or had pavement; it was just grass. But he could appreciate how the yard was almost completely shaded by the trees and building. The sun peaking through the trees gave it an aesthetic appeal. Norio squinted as he glanced around at the few tenants that had showed up early. It would only be a few more moments before the party would officially start. It was a little awkward how he was one of the only people at the party.

His gaze landed on the large There was a bouncy house, but there were only two children in the entire building. To be fair, it wasn’t the best area to raise a child in. Especially when the apartments were so tiny. He felt kind of bad for the siblings; their single mother was not doing well financially wise, or it seemed that way. Of course, the bouncy house was soon inhabited by the two children. At least they were having fun.

A cold beer was shoved into his hand by the owner. The man smiled up at him before patting his back. No words were spoken, but it was still a warm welcoming. He was probably just happy Norio even showed up. The owner probably wasn’t expecting a big outcome due to the challenging weather. The Japanese male watched as the short male wandered off to greet a few other people.

The coldness of the bottle prompted him to pass it between his hands. He didn’t even want the drink in the first place; kind of just wanted a something like juice or even water. Sighing, he wandered towards the tables displaying all the foods and set down the drink. He wiped his hands on his pants before looking over the food.

“What a waste of money,” He mumbled under his breath. It wasn’t meant to be disrespectful. The party wasn’t necessary in his opinion. Just a small gathering at an apartment would be enough to make everyone happy. Sighing, he picked up the bottle and wandered towards the gazebo.

Gentle purring somehow mixed nicely with Sun's singing, although she was terribly out of tune. She was a woman that loved to sing on her own time, yet no amount of music-loving could increased the quality of her voice. Her voice cracked periodically and she could feel a tightness begin to grow in the back of her throat, but that didn't stop her. People watched both curiously and judgmentally as she walked joyfully down the road, wondering what on Earth could make a person so happy and ear-aching.

"Oi. Oi." Sun san softly as she caressed a little ball of fluff. In her hands was a resident kitten that she had named Oi. She'd noticed the small animal was not eating well and was throwing up frequently, so she took it upon herself to bring it to the vet. Thankfully, her boss was on duty and didn't charge for the check up and medication. He even allowed Sun to keep Oi in the clinic to monitor as she worked that morning.

The gray kitten purred in response and it nuzzled Sun's hand. "Oh!" Sun exclaimed, a small smiling growing on her face. "Are you feeling better already? Your mama and siblings are going to be so happy to see that."

A few tall buildings finally came into sight as Sun continued to walk. She maneuvered her way towards the back of the building to be greeted by a few other felines. "Hello, everyone. I brought your sister back." The slender woman squat down and gently sat the kitten onto the ground, giving a few of the others attention as she did so. It was in that moment that a small breeze whisked through the area, blessing her nose with the scent of different foods and prompting a loud grumble to erupt from her stomach.

Her smile widened as she shuffled towards the entrance, acknowledging the few people that passed by. As she stepped onto the small field of grass and into the shade, she took note of the handful of people that were there early. Sun wondered how many people would attend the event, a part of her feeling sad at the thought of no one else coming because of the somewhat gloomy weather. She also had little time for such things, but the owner was such a nice man and he always seemed a bit lonely whenever she ran into him. Plus there was free food and how could she pass that up?

Sun stood idly for a few minutes as she greeted everyone before spotting a familiar head of hair near the table of food. With a mischievous grin, she crept her way over and poked either side of the man. "No-ri-o," she said almost creepily.

mood: excited, nervous

As soon as Jasons feet hit the Korean soil, he sighed happily, turning to look up at the sky with a big grin. Jason had gone home for the break back to Australia, wanting to see his family and friends but he missed everyone here a lot.

He hailed a cab and gave them the address, crawling into the backseat with his suitcases. He sent his roommate, Jin Soo a quick text, telling him that he was on the way and that he was excited to see him again. It was about a half hour drive too the apartments, so he leaned back in his seat and closed his eyes, deciding to take a quick nap because he barely slept on the plane here, too busy editing photos he had taken.

Jason felt his eyes droop as he relaxed his body and let himself drift into sleep. He was woken up 30 minutes later, a hand shaking his shoulder an telling him to wake up. He looked up at the cab driver who looked slightly annoyed and gabbed his stuff, making sure to pay him and give him a big bow, "Sorry. Thank you sir." He told him before grabbing his luggage and dragging it up the stairs and to his apartment, slamming open the door and yelling a loud,

"I'm home!" His shoulders drooped though as he got no reply and figured Jin Soo wasn't here yet. He set his bags down and then headed back outside to see what was all the big commotion in the back. He noticed the apartment owner first and waved happily, though he was quickly distracted by the bouncy house. He didn't even notice Sun or Norio, just kicking off his shoes and climbing into the bouncy house with the kids.

He happily bounced around with the two kids, picking one up and swinging them around as he jumped. The apartment owner watched with a pained expression, since bouncy houses weren't really made for hyperactive teens but just let him have his fun, shaking his head.

After bouncing for five minutes and swinging around small children, he was exhausted and collapsed on the floor of it, trying to crawl his way out, but the two kids started to tug at his pants, making him stay. The mom watched in amusement as the two jumped on top of him, and he turned to her with pleading eyes but she just walked away, smirking into her drink.

Song Hee-jin
She regretted studying so much. Honestly, her hair was a mess piled on top of her head and her glasses were perched on her nose as she stared at the number filled papers before her. "Yah! Why can't you solve yourself?" She complained for a few minutes before she laid down with a heavy sigh. The shop had gotten closed for a bit due to issues with the pipes and the owner was terrified of the store flooding while her new clothes were in there so it was down for work. Which meant that Hee-jin was bored either at home or at the college. The fan blew gently which created a nice breeze for the woman to relax in. She really needed to go out and see the light of day again, but honestly she didn't know what she'd do.

Hee-jin had been ignoring invites for awhile because she just wasn't in the mood for hanging out or going to bars. The last time was bad enough as she almost got dragged on stage to sing. Not a fun time. Still, it was summer outside and she was probably the only person in the complex being a hermit. Well there was that fashion designer, but the older girl was convinced the designer was nocturnal and only came out at night. She didn't really consider her normal, rather gifted because her clothes were great. Shaking her head, Hee-jin proceeded to drag her tired body to her bathroom and eventually took a shower to clean up. It was a process alright. She complained a bit during and after the fact, but still she got ready.

It took her awhile, but soon enough she slipped into her shoes and left her apartment. The air was humid even inside the building. It almost made Hee-jin retreat into the comfort of her own messy apartment. Still, she knew that the owner of the place was assembled some form of a party for everyone to meet each other or whatever, and it'd be way too rude not to show up when she was at the location already. The girl silently cursed her good manners. She hopped down the steps, one at a time, her bangs falling in front of her eyes as she wandered through the building. She was rather cute, with her two messy braids and bangs that made her look unique compared to most.

It took her a bit, but she was out walking on the grass and looked around with a bright smile. Naturally she went to talk to the short, old owner and had a smile that rivaled the sun that was beating on everyone. Once she finished greeting everyone, Hee-jin looked around at everyone that had gathered. There weren't too many people that she knew that had showed up. Though she found herself looking for a specific person as she grabbed herself a bottle of water, brown eyes practically trained on the entrance of the 'party'.

She was a bit of a confusing person, especially since she actively avoided people. Still, she wondered if he was going to show up, especially since she hadn't seen him for a long time. Sure, she had heard about him from friends who were at the same bar as him, but she didn't see him. It was her own curiosity needing to be satisfied that caused her to look around. Just a peek of him would satisfy her. She didn't need to talk to him, for if she did it'd only end up with her half-assed excuse and then her leaving the area. It always ended up the same, yet Hee-jin felt restless as she stood in the shade of the building.

What better way was there to spend a work-free day besides lounge around? Jun Hee had spent his day laying in the living room and strumming his guitar, occasionally taking a break to check on some morning dramas and cartoons. He'd thought about going out and doing something but there were many factors preventing him from doing so. For one, the weather wasn't entirely the best, with it's gloomy rays and a-bit-too humid weather. He periodically checked what the status was outside by opening the living area's window, sticking out his hand, and acting as if he could sense even the slightest temperature change. Of course, the (late summer?) heat was pretty constant and a guy like him was insensitive to nearly on temperatures. He was even the type of person that wore layers throughout the entire year without breaking a sweat when summer came around.

Secondly, the owner was hosting some type of event and what kind of tenant would Jun Hee be if he didn't go? Things like that were normally a hassle for him but with a boring day and empty stomach, of course that was where he was heading.

From where his apartment was, he was able to peek down at the festivities below. Arms crossed on the thin window sill, his hair lightly covered his face as his eyes scanned who all were and weren't there. That proved fruitless, however, because he was nearsighted so instead of seeing people, he saw blurbs of moving figures.

Scratching his head, Jun Hee questioned why he thought that was a good idea without wearing his glasses or contacts. Nevertheless, he let out a deep sigh before putting on actual clothes. Normally, he'd wear a jacket or long-sleeved shirt as a second layer, but gloomy and humid days were when he stuck with his short sleeves. He hated when his skin got hot and sticky and the feeling of being unable to breath.

He descended down the stairs pretty quickly, hands in his front pockets and his hair naturally waving with each motion. The softness of the grass underneath his feet sent an odd feeling throughout his spine since he wasn't used to it. The only places in Seoul where someone could see grass were the parks and he hadn't visited one in a while for personal reasons, nor had he taken any trips outside the city in the last few months.

Jun Hee's eyes flickered upwards to a familiar face, his gaze wavering for a second before he turned away. He didn't know why he could always sense her presence. It was a if she were a magnet that drew his attention whenever they were near each other. A part of him wondered if he still cared or if it was an innocent curiosity towards someone he thought he knew, but the questions always hurt his head so he never went too deep into it. Besides, it wasn't like it really mattered anymore. He was positive he was just feeling what any neighbor would feel: worry towards another's health.

A few awkward seconds probably passed as he stood there ruffling his hair. Thankfully, the owner came over with a wide grin to wave the tension away, offering the young man a cold beer. Jun Hee smiled and accepted it, opening it rather skillfully to the surprise of the older man. They had drank together a few times but the owner was always surprised to see Jun Hee's drinking skills.

Bae Chae-yeon
The alarm was beeping again. It had been for around an hour. It continued to go off every eight minutes that passed without it getting snoozed or stopped. It was annoying, but sounded muted to the girl who was sleeping soundly on the floor. Yes, the floor was her bed most of the time. In all honesty she didn't know the last time she actually slept in her bed. Maybe when she moved in? In all honesty she didn't know and she doubted that she ever would. She was far too busy getting things ready for the fashion show to care about anything else. She still needed to find male models that were taller than her female models but it was proving to be difficult.

A groan left her lips as she eventually dragged herself up into a sitting position, eyes closed as she tried to make herself realize that she needed to be a person. It took around five minutes before she was scratching her head and wandering into the bathroom to brush her teeth. Various fabrics and boxes were scattered about the 'studio' and her table had been converted into a fabric cutting table. Chae-yeon only had two rooms that could be considered living standards. That was the spotless bedroom and her slightly cluttered bathroom. Her kitchen was rarely touched, and honestly she had no idea what even lived in her fridge. With her toothbrush hanging outside of her mouth, the girl walked back out into the studio area and began to clean up whatever she could. Various mannequins were clothed with her finished outfits and current works in progress.

Once it was up to her standards, Chae-yeon returned to the bathroom and spit the toothpaste out of her mouth and rinsed it out twice. "Clean teeth means happy teeth. Alright, now to tackle my hair" She had cut her hair practically all off so that she didn't have to hassle with styling it. Instead she just brushed it and it was done. Simple as that. She liked looking presentable when she went out to town, especially if she was wearing one of the pieces that she created. It gave her a sense of pride. She hummed as she got dressed in her outfit, grabbing a signature lavender colored top before she was ready to be out in public.

Honestly she felt that dressing up was overrated when you were at home, but the owner of the building was hosting a small party if you will, which meant food and potential customers. Plus, if there were new tenants then she could snag one as a model. Her department was going to be putting on a 'fashion' show and she was one of the designers who was having a difficult time finding male models. She liked the tall model aesthetic and had even convinced one of the foreign exchange student to model for her. It was pretty good. Still, Chae-yeon was a bit stressed about her male clothing line. Oh well, she'd find a model eventually.

The heat was gross as soon as she exited the building and she could feel sweat starting to form on her back. It wasn't pleasant at all. Still, the smell of food and the sound of beers getting opened was enough to make Chae-yeon ignore it. She saw people she knew, but instead of conversing with anyone, she headed straight for food. Okay so maybe she grabbed a beer as well, but she liked to eat her meat with a good beer. And that's what the owner always bought. Good beer.

Norio found himself humming some foreign song while holding the beer up to his mouth. He took a quick swing of the beer. Before he could finish swallowing the alcoholic beverage, a close friend of his spooked him. He coughed loudly into his fist as he twisted around to face his friend. “Ah, you scared me,” he forced out as he tried to hold in the coughs forcing their way out. It only took a few moments before his airways cleared up and he was able to speak properly. “Ah… You can’t scare me like that. I almost died.” He placed a hand on his heart to add onto his dramatic behavior.

His gaze wandered back to the bouncy house. The interesting sight caused him to let out a soft chuckle. “Seems like the kids have found a playmate,” He joked as he looked back towards Sun. Laughing softly, he took another sip of the drink. He could really only pity Jason as he was attacked by tiny hands. “They get the bouncy house all for themselves.”

“They have the cheap desserts,” He grinned as he glanced back towards the food table. “A nice chemical taste?.” Cheap desserts had proved to taste below average, but at the same time, they were comforting. When he turned to retrieve a dessert, he got distracted by another figuring getting food at the table. “Oh, hi.” He greeted the young woman with a friendly. Rather than carry it out into small talk, he slid down the dessert section. If it was any normal encounter, he’d probably stay and chat a lot longer.

He opened the thin plastic container to reach the artificially flavored treat. The dessert wouldn’t make your mouth water. The texture made it look more like the fake cakes they decorate on cooking shows. “So appetizing, huh?” He popped it into his mouth. It tasted as expected; sweet with a hint of bitterness. He washed down the odd flavor with his alcoholic beverage.

No matter what he did, his gaze always ended up on the bouncy house. He didn’t want to admit that it looked fun since that’d be childish of him. Sighing, he dragged a hand through his dark locks. It reminded him of all the adult responsibilities he needed to attend. It wasn’t like he despised being an adult. In fact, he loved it because he was in control of his life and didn’t need to rely on people to live.

Sa Hee frowned as she rolled out of the chair she had fallen asleep in, looking at the floor with a sigh. She sat still for a few moments, before heaving herself up and looking around. Her apartment was a mess and art supplies had been scattered where she had been working last night, a half-finished canvas sat on the small desk she had. She wasn't in the mood to clean, but in the end, she started putting art supplies away and checking the time. The sound of children's laughter and voices of the other tenants caught her attention and she remembered that the owner was throwing a party for everyone, she quickly headed for the door, catching sight of herself in a mirror and stopped. Almost laughing at her monster appearance, she headed for the shower and scrubbed the paint off her face and arms. She threw on a simple white button up shirt and opted for blue skinny jeans with rips in the knees.

After managing to get her hair into two braids, she slipped on her white tennis shoes and headed down to the party. She noticed a lot of the tenants had arrived already, and just smiled. The owner greeted her and she kindly accepted the beverage as it was handed to her. She noticed people she was acquaintances or friends with and kindly waved, not invading anyone yet as she checked the gathering. Sa Hee nodded to herself as she spotted Jason. Seeing the kids tackling him made her laugh a bit as he pleaded for escape. She walked over to the bouncy house and grinned. "Having fun in there Jason?" She asked, trying to keep a straight face, but her grin couldn't be contained long. Her eyes lit up with amusement. "I'll trade you places if you want." She offered, after all, she had a lot of energy and believe it or not was actually really good with kids. Probably cause inside she still was one. "Or I could leave you here to your fate and watch as these little ones end you." Sa Hee joked. "It's good to see you again." The young male lifted his head and immediately felt the pain on his cheek from laying on the hard carpet. Sung-gin winced as he placed a shaky hand on his face, feeling the imprint of the the hard fabric on his skin. He must've fallen off of the bed the night before.

He got up and pulled down his pajama pants before walking in the direction of a mirror. Seeing how ridiculous he looked, he chuckled to himself and ruffled his hair a bit; Attempting to fix it somehow.

The man left for the party, looking like someone's short uncle. When he stepped out of the building, he was overwhelmed by the sudden heat that approached him. He decided to quickly rush back inside and grab a hat before coming back out again and arriving at the party area.

As he was walking towards the food he was greeted by the building owner. He wrapped an arm around the man despite being a bit shorter than him and teased the male about the way he looked. Sung-gin let out a light chuckle. He was used to this kind of treatment from older people. They always wanted to put a smile on his seemingly sour face.

The two of them exchanged good-byes and Sung-gin was happy to have some time to himself. Not long after his eyes landed on the bouncy house and his eyes lit up. He awkwardly walked towards it and quickly took off his shoes. He took a short moment to look where he was landing before throwing himself into the inflated castle and laughing. He had a feeling that Jason must've been near since he was suddenly so happy. He looked around and saw his friend being attacked by small children. He laughed obnoxiously and pointed at him, "Having fun there?"

Hyun Woo hated the summer, to be more specific the temperature. He preferred the cool temperatures of autumn and winter. However, he saw no benefit in complaining, after all, no one could just change the weather. He hated that the humidity made his formal shirt stick to his skin and making him more uncomfortable as he walked home from the last day of his summer internship. He had enjoyed it and didn't want it to end, however, it had only been for the summer. Despite being at the apartments all summer, he hadn't been home much except to sleep and change, so he decided to pick up some stuff to cook for an actual meal since he wasn't sure what was left of the food in the apartment.

After purchasing the things he wanted, he walked back to the apartment complex quickly, wanting to get out of the summer weather as soon as he could. As he got closer he heard the sound of chatter and laughter. He mentally cursed himself for forgetting about the event, not that he blamed himself he had been busy throughout the summer. Hyun quickly slipped into his apartment and put everything away, then changed into something that had fit the weather a bit more comfortably. He walked outside and frowned as if going inside would have changed the weather.

Irritated, Hyun made way to the party was. Upon entry the owner greeted him offering a beverage he respectfully declined. After talking to a bit with the owner, Hyun scanned the crowd. It seemed the bouncy house was not only a hot place for kids, but a few young adults as well. He chuckled at the sight of the kids tackling one of his neighbors and witnessing his friend jump in as well. He threw a wave in that general direction, turning his attention to others. He instantly spotted Jun Hee, walking over with a small smile as he watched his friend. "Drinking already are we?" he joked, waving at the same time as he neared. Had it not been so hot, he might have hugged the other, but the weather was a constant annoyance and he didn't want to make it worse with close contact. "How was your day?" he casually asked.

Hye Rin was exhausted. She hadn't slept last night because of the last minute online tutoring session she agreed to do. Thankfully, it put some money in her account. After falling asleep somewhere around three AM-ish, she woke up at seven and had gotten ready for her library session with a few highschool kids and a middle school girl right after. While she had time in between the sessions, it wasn't very much and she spent that time studying herself. Sitting comfortably in the library, she hadn't bothered to check the weather and was wearing her oversized hoodie and sweatpants. She adjusted her glasses and looked at the person across from her eating, all she could see was the meat and quickly grabbed her stuff and pretended to browse the shelves. She rather not puke before her last session. Hye Rin sat back down at another table and greeted her student with a smile. After all, to her science was easy to teach.

Later, she thanked the girl and her parents for coming, and hurried off without another word. A little richer than what she walked in with. She nearly gasped at the temperature outside. She quickly found her bike and slid her bag over her shoulder as she pedaled home. As she neared the apartments, she parked her bike in the usual place she always did, before walking quickly inside to avoid the weather. She took off her shoes and put the home slippers on as she put her bag on the counter and sighed, frowning at how sweaty and sticky her clothes were. She quickly hopped into the shower and changed clothes.

Hye Rin headed outside, after she had fixed her appearance of course and she greeted the owner happily. Unlike everyone else, she wasn't offered a drink. But it was obvious her distaste for alcohol. She smiled and walked around, trying to find someone she knew. She hadn't really had the time since she moved in at the beginning of summer. She was always trying to stay busy so she could afford to live in the apartment and afford her fees. Her father refused to pay them, insisting she study abroad. That wasn't her style though. She frowned as everyone she recongized was talking with someone she wasn't familair with and she didn't want to interupt anyone. Frowning, she slowly made way to the food.

Sun jumped slightly at Norio's sudden, loud cough, although she should've expected what was going to happen. The young woman smiled and laughed as her hand reach behind him. "Sorry, sorry," she apologized, patting his back lightly before forming two guns with her fingers and pretending she was about to poke him again.

Her attention followed Norio's voice to the jump house that was now filled with both adult and children. She recognized the blond hair through the mesh wall, biting her lower lip to keep from laughing. It was obvious that he wanted to get out, but the children's mother clearly didn't want him to as she walked away without a word. "Are you having fun, Jason?" Sun shouted, offering him a look of sympathy but not taking a step forwards to help.

With a slender hand, Sun reached for one of many desserts and sniffed it. She silently agreed on the chemical taste of cheap desserts, however, she took a bite of the pastry anyways. Food was something she could never complain about or ever say no too. It was honestly a little pitiful. "I miss Hyun Woo," Sun muttered with emphasized sadness. "His desserts are always good."

Hyun Woo was another one of her neighbors and someone Sun probably relied on a bit too much. He would practically cook for her any time she came over or would have food waiting in the refrigerator to be devoured. Unfortunately, he was too busy over the summer so she didn't get to see him much.

"Oh, hello!" Sun said as she looked straight into the female that had approached the food table. "I've never seen you around. Are you new?" She was normally one for small talk and enjoyed meeting and learning about others, however, someone else caught her attention. Her face and eyes seemed to lighten tenfold as she began walking towards that direction. "Ah, sorry," Sun apologized to the female as she both walked and bowed, before waving at Norio at the end. "Don't forget the premiere episode is tonight, Norio!"

The woman dashed the short distance towards her target, jumping at the very end, and somehow latching onto his back like an overgrown monkey. "Chef-oppa! The food god has answered prayers." Sun sang until she realized it was hot and humid, so he probably didn't appreciate the physical contact. Hopping down and clumsily landing on her two feet, she bowed. "Ah, I'm sorry. Bad habit, I know."

She noticed Jun Hee standing near and she unconsciously took a step closer to Hyun Woo, giving the singer a stink eye jokingly.

Song Hee-jin
Hee-jin hadn't noticed she was staring until she had brief eye contact with the male. Immediately she looked away and eventually moved from where she was standing. She didn't look back at him because she knew it'd only make things even more awkward for them both. She cleared her throat and found herself greeting a few of the people who were at the party and she wandered over to the food table. Her gaze wandered over the various desserts and the people who were gathered around the table. Hee-jin bowed to some of the older tenants that she occasionally conversed with when she wasn't heading to her college classes. Laughing softly, the girl ended up taking a strawberry that was on a fruit platter. Of course food out in the heat wasn't ideal, which was why it took her around three minutes to pick a suitable one. It was a bit sour, but she didn't mind all that much.

Once the slightly sour fruit was finished, she looked around for someone familiar to talk to. She had lived at the apartments for awhile, but she still seemed to meet new people all the time. Her classes tended to be at odd times and her work kept her really busy so she often didn't see the tenants all that much. Other than the ones who were up pretty late at night. Hee-jin was practically lost in thought when a pair of hands were placed on her side, causing her to jump and let out a surprised noise. When she turned around, she found the dimpled smile of the male she had recently been going out on dates with. "Yah, Oppa you really scared me" Her smile was almost instant as she lightly hit the male's arm. "Why are you here anyways?"

His light colored was casually styled and he had the perfect boyfriend style. "I was on my way to visit you since I got a call from Soo-hyun that you cooped yourself up in your apartment again. Then I saw that everyone was here, so I figured I'd find you as well" In all honesty, she felt comfortable around him, but not like he was her boyfriend or anything. They had been close friends before she even agreed to go out on a date with him, and they have a caring relationship between them. Sometimes it was difficult with Hee-jin's tendencies to avoid talk of dating, but mostly they were fine. "So... can I visit with you? For a little bit? Or go on a date...?" He trailed off a bit, hopefully gleam to his eyes as he lightly held her hand for a moment.

It was almost as if she'd been shocked as she pulled her hand away. "Mm I'm sure you can hangout here for a bit, you should just talk to the tenants, especially the older ones. It'll be nice for them to have someone as fresh as you talking to them" Hee-jin smiled a bit before she led Cheol-su over to a group of tenants, and introduced him. She liked talking to people and being friendly, and it just got easier when she had someone she knew very well. She didn't know what she had planned for the day so she figured the most likely thing to happen would be her going on a date with Cheol-su and get her away from her stress and apartment.

While they all talked, Hee-jin looked around again, squinting slightly whenever the sun reemerged from passing clouds. It was a nice day, just a little too nice for her. The idea of going to a cafe sounded really refreshing and nice, but she figured that she'd stay at the party for a bit longer, that way she could enjoy the festivities and just being around her neighbors. Everyone seemed to be having a decently good time, which was good and she was glad that the owner was happy while drinking beers and just chatting with the tenants. He was really nice and she did enjoy having conversations with him whenever he wanted to talk.

When he saw Sa Hee, he grinned up at her, waving happily, before disappearing under the two small children. "Save me!" He yelled dramatically, reaching for her jokingly.

"Please come help me with them, I don't know how long I can take this. Also, It is good to see you too!" He grinned up at her before swinging the younger child around. He nearly dropped them though as the bounce house rocked with sudden force as someone jumped inside. He lit up instantly when he noticed who it was and waved happily. He pouted though when the male pointed and laughed at him.

"Attack him!" He told the children, and then ran at him, but ended up tripping on his own feet and rolling straight into him. He burst out laughing, "Nice too see you again Sung-Gin." he patted his head and sat up, one of the children plopping down in his lap, squishing his cheeks and he sighed, pleading at Sa Hee with his eyes for help.

He might've taken a couple sips of the cold beer in his hands before deciding he wasn't really feeling it. Jonny was normally the guy that could never say no to a drink, but there was something bothering him. He didn't know what it was either. Maybe it was the abnormally uncomfortable weather. Yeah, maybe it's the weather, the twenty-three year old thought, his skin literally feeling like it was becoming mush.

"Drinking already are we? The familiar voice brought a rare smile to Jonny's face as he turned around to face his close friend, Hyun Woo. They hadn't seen each other much over the summer due to their conflicting schedules, especially since Jonny was rarely home in the first place.

The shorter male brought his free hand to ruffle the side of his hair as he let out a loud sigh, unable to hide the curve of his lips even if he wanted to. "Boring. I didn't have work today, so I've only done house chores and lounged around." It was a rare occasion for Jonny to not only have a day off from work, but not have any scheduled gigs to attend. He usually had one or the other regardless of the situation.

A rather peculiar individual soon made her appearance, to which he wasn't surprised. The woman was always nearby if Hyun Woo was around. It was as if his friend had some kind of tracker on him.

Cringing, he watched Sun stick herself to the taller male. The thought have having someone else's body heat in addition to his own sounded awful. Jonny offered Hyun Woo a look of sympathy, one that he always gave when Sun was with them. How his friend tolerated her quirkiness? He'd never understand.

"Yah," Jonny began as he took a step closer, pretending as if he were about to snatch Hyun Woo away, "I already told you Hyun Woo's becoming my husband so you shouldn't be doing stuff like that." He watched in amusement at Sun's response, her face seeming to always express her emotions vividly.

"Your husband? Wow. Wooow." She had pretended to sound offended, but clearly she was enjoying the topic. "No. Hyun Woo's going to be my husband."

"You're only saying that for the food." Jonny responded, grinning as he saw her expression change.

"Aren't you?" Sun retorted, crossing her arms but taking a half step to the side so Hyun Woo was like a human shield.

Jonny shrugged as he took a sip, his lips curved slightly as he said nonchalantly, "Who knows."

Hyun smiled as he got Jun's attention, He pretended to widen his eyes in fake surprise. "You no work? doing house chores? I think I might faint." He joked, letting out a small chuckle. "I wish I had been home, it's been awhile since I been able to actually hang out this summer." Hyun Woo said, upset he hadn't been able to spend time with his friend. Unable to stay to his thoughts for long as he felt the weight of someone jump on his back.

He nearly toppled over, as Sun had surprised him. He met his widen eyes with Jun, seeing the sympathy. Hyun kept mouthing "Off." and "help" as he looked at his friend. Finally, when Sun got off he sighed in relief as some of the heat was gone, however, his clothes were a bit more sticky due to the sweat. "Its fine Sun, next time a warning would be nice though." He muttered the last part and watched as she stepped in front of him and glared at Jun Hee. Hyun Woo merely watched as the two had a small stare off and Jun Hee finally spoke. Amusement showed on his face as Jun Hee stepped closer to him while talking to Sun. He wasn't sure whether to choke or laugh as the two bickered. "Alright, Alright you two can stop now." he said as the conversation came to an end.

He looked at Sun as she stepped a little behind him. "It seems you missed me a lot huh?" he asked, not really sure what answer he was expecting. Hyun turned to Jun Hee. Leaning over so Jun and hopefully only Jun Hee would hear. "I bought some food to make one of your favorites tonight, if you will be home to eat?" he half stated, half asked.

Sung-gin quickly scrambled over himself in an attempt to escape the children's attack. He eventually caught himself and turned to see that the kids fell into his friend's lap. He let out a sigh of relief before deciding to leave the bouncy house. On his way out he lightly jabbed one of the children to make them laugh, "So cute." He turned to Jason and pretended to pinch his cheek, "Cute."

Normally he wasn't a fan of playing with children; He found a lot of them to be loud and annoying so he didn't bother with them. Somehow, Jason just being there made him want to be a part of the fun too. But now, he was already started to become exhausted from jumping up and down. He really was someone's short uncle.

On his way out of the inflated house, his first thought was to sit somewhere around the food table and sample everything. The young man walked over and tried to grab a beer but almost immediately put it down again when he felt how cold it was. Sung-gin pulled the sleeves of his cardigan past his hands and picked it up again, walking towards the gazebo nearby.

He leaned against the fence and took a sip of his drink, taking a moment to survey his surroundings. Upon looking around, he saw Norio, who was only about a few feet away from him. He quickly became unreasonably shy and nervous, trying his best to "keep it casual" despite the fact that he wasn't planning to approach him. The two of them only really talked once and it happened to be at the campus library. He pulled his hat over his head, hoping to conceal his nervousness while leaving himself to imagine all the possible scenarios that could play out from him making a move.

It was finally the day where he’d officially move out of his mother’s house. To say he was nervous was an understatement. It was a big change from isolating himself. His mother gave him a lengthy lecture about how he needs to make sure to look out for himself and not rely on those surrounding him. Independence was key in moving on from his life at home.

He stepped out of the uber, and onto the sidewalk in front of the building. Sin Yang had spent the fast few days bringing his belongings to his new home. The last item to be brought there was him. He had the chance to move into the apartment much earlier but decided to stay at his mother’s house until the very last minute.

The male was planning on heading into the apartment building but stopped himself when he noticed the backyard seemed populated with people. He assumed his social friend was back there and considered going there to find him. But his dislike towards crowds made him rethink his options.

Before he knew it, his legs were carrying towards the back of the building. He kept his hands in the pockets of his white hoodie. He stood there for a few moments as he tried to spot out his friend. Before he could continue further, the owner of building walked over to him with a second beer in hand. The man handed him the cold beverage and said a short greeting before walking off to speak with some other people. Sighing, he glanced down at the beer before setting it down on the nearest flat surface. He wasn’t a big fan of alcoholic beverages due to their bitter taste.

The other place that he could really check was the bouncy house and it appeared to be occupied by children. His assumption changed when he watched an adult come out of the bouncy house. He took a closer look at the bouncy house and noticed there was someone that could be Jason. Sin moved closer to the bouncy house and looked through the net material. A smile appeared on his face as he spotted his friend and quickly waved towards him.

Jason started to pout as his cheeks were pinched and he swatted at Sung Gin, huffing something about how he wasn't cute. When Sun gin left, Jason played a little longer with the children and Sa Hee, bouncing around in the house.

His eyes started to wander around the yard, looking for a specific person. when his eyes finally landed on him and the male gave him a wave and a big smile Jason felt his heart burst, the male was just so cute. "Sinnie!" He called, crawling out of the bounce house and running over to his friend. He pulled the male into his arms and hugged him gently, then pulling back to examine his face. "Hey! I'm so excited!" Jason let go of him and practically wiggled as he beamed at him.

Before he could continue, a beer was slipped into his hand by the owner and given a rough pat on the back and the older male walked away. "Oh..kay." He shrugged, looking down at the beer and then opening it, taking a quick sip. He made a face at the strong taste, his whole face scrunching up but continued to take sips.

"What is this in Korean?" He whispered in English, looking down at the beer, deep in thought before just shrugging and setting it down next to them and gently putting an arm around Sin's shoulders. "I'm so happy we're living together."

Mun Ji-Ho

Once again, for what seemed like the fifth day in a row, Ji-Ho was awoken to his brother, Tae-Ho, waking him up with a pillow hit. The younger Mun brother had again fallen asleep at his writing desk. He whined into his arms. He definitely didn't want to be awake. Tae-Ho said that he'd be going to work. For Ji, that meant he'd have the place to himself for the day. He liked it this way as his brother couldn't read his imperfect work over his shoulder. He hated it. Just because he was blind didn't mean he couldn't sense the presence of people around him.

His brother left and Ji-Ho stood, stretching his sore muscles and making plenty of bad bone cracking noises whilst doing so. He heard the bark of his dog, Dubu, and immediately realised what the time must be. He must need his walk. If he wasn't awake early enough, his brother tended to feed Dubu but walks were always down to Ji-Ho.

He got washed and dressed into a simple baby pink button down and black jeans. He put on his simple slip on shoes and slid a pair of his fancy glasses over his face, his purple ones to be exact. After that, he packed up his writing things and found Dubu's everyday supplies bag. He clipped on the blue leash to his dog and grabbed his walking stick before walking out and down to the apartment complex's main entrance. They were right on time according to his phone. Man, this dog liked to keep him to schedule.

The second her back hit the firm leather seats of the car, she basically melted into the seat.
"Ah, I'm.....so tire-"
She was interrupted by the sudden movement of the window rolling down. Bora was with the rest of the group as they had just finished up a music festival in Busan, and they'd finally managed to escape the small crowd of press that always awaited them after a promo like this. Or so they thought.

"Asylum! Asylum! Who is the leader of your group? Moon Sul, fans are hinting that you pull the strings but with your newest member Solars appearance people are calling this a Solar Eclipse. Can you tell us if this power struggle is reality or just a figment of our imaginations?"
So many microphones attempted to cram themselves inside the window that Bora felt like she were in a zombie apocalypse - and she didn't have any weapons.
Well, maybe she did. Maybe it was the fact that this was her 2nd consecutive day without sleep and all she wanted was to go home and lie in bed or maybe it was the fact that rumors like this make her feel alienated and sorry for being part of the group, but what Bora did next was out of character - even for her stage persona Solar.

"Everyone thinks,
theres someone pulling the strings behind the scenes
when in re-al-ity , it wasn't me
Its not you, her, her-her or her
So don't look so disturbed
as I throw you to the curb

As-sy-lum is the rhythm, the beat, the heat, the Chief
We will not be discreet -

but we just want some sleep."
There were a few stunned moments of silence before they erupted into a frenzy of questions and every camera surged in to get a good view. Bora scowled and rolled the window up, signaling for the driver to go.

Moon Sul, Edge and Mina all looked at her with impressed smirks, knowing exactly how nerve-wracking and scary talking to the press was to her. As she looked around, her cheeks flushed with color, laughter started bubbling up amongst them and soon everyone was giggling and all the tension there had been had dissipated. Not long after that, they all fell asleep as they were driven home.
Bora was gently shaken awake by Moon Sul who pinched her cheek before she left and ruffled her short blonde hair in an older sibling type of way. Bora smiled and staggered sleepily out, her bookbag hanging off one shoulder and her sunglasses firmly in place on the bridge of her nose. The smell of food and chatter danced in the air and although she was tired, she was also starving having eaten only a coffee cake and a piece of jerky in the last day or so. She fiddled with the hair that was poking out from under her hood on her forehead before walking towards the gathering.
The owner of the apartments greeted her with a big hug and messed up the hair poking out of her hood right after she'd fixed it. With a shy nod, she anxiously yet frantically made her way to the food; Bora grabbed a handful of the little deserts and proceeded to stuff her face while hoping she wasn't recognized. Which was to no avail since the sweltering summer heat and humidity threatened to suffocate her in her oversized hoodie, hat and sweatpants. After 15 minutes of suffering, she broke down and stripped the unnecessary layers off to reveal the last outfit she'd performed in(outfit in gif).

Norio waved goodbye to Sun and saying something about how he couldn’t miss the premiere episode. He glanced around at his surroundings and didn’t notice anything too interesting. After taking another swig from the beer bottle, he took another look around. A somewhat familiar male popped up into his view, but couldn’t remember where he knew him from.

He stood there for a few moments, trying to figure out where he knew the short male from. Occasionally his gaze would flicker to the person standing a few feet away from him. His brain hurt from the amount of thinking he was doing, but he was adamant in figuring out how he knew him. After putting his mind through frustrating thinking, he figured out who the person was.

“That’s where I know you from!” He grinned and he turned towards the male. "You work at the library, right?" The pair had met once before when Norio took a trip to the library to study. Usually, he studied at home but he needed a certain book to complete his homework and he didn't own it. He ended up having to rent out the book because he got distracted by talking.

"I didn't know you lived here... Small world, I suppose." He shrugged before attempting to take another sip of his beverage. Much to his surprise, the bottle was empty. "It's already gone?" He questioned with a slight frown. Sighing, he let his hand drop and the bottle swing loosely between his fingers.

Sin Yang was surprised when Jason crawled out of the bouncy house to welcome him. Nevertheless, he was still excited to see the close friend of his. He allowed the male to hug him, but make an effort to hug back. Frankly, it was a little too warm outside for him to be making physical contact; a pretty conflicting statement from someone who wraps himself in multiple blankets even in the prime of summer. "I'm excited too," He replied with a faint smile. Sure, he was excited, but he was also nervous about the big move. Thankfully Jason's bright behavior was able to suppress the nervousness.

He got distracted for a few moments by the children jumping in the inflated house. They began to hit each other in a playful manner, which confused the male. Maybe he didn't understand because he was an older child; he never found the appeal of beating family members or friends up. He glanced back over to Jason when the male spoke. "Mmm, it means we can hang out a lot more." He paused for a few moments. "We may start hating each other from spending so much time together," He joked as gently lead against the other.

The male was confused about his relationship with Jason. They were only friends but he didn't feel just "friend feelings." It made him feel guilty for liking the other. Confessing would probably the last thing he'd do. The last thing he'd want to do was destroy their relationship. He didn't want to lose one of the only friends he had to stupid choices. Sin Yang found he spent most of his time in his head; talking to himself because it was a coping mechanism. It made him wonder if other people did the same. People could be so impulsive and not think, while he talks him through every little interaction he'd take.

The thought of the bunk beds popped into his head and caused a smile to form back on his face. He found bunk beds to be really childish; at the same time, it was cute. It reminded of elementary school days when he'd sleep at his cousin's house. "Bunk beds were the best choice for the sleeping situation, huh? It'll be like we're still in grade school. Which bunk do you want?" Sin preferred the bottom bunk because it wasn't far from the floor. It felt safer to be closer to the ground.

Sun had said something about missing Hyun Woo's cooking or whatever, but he didn't really catch it. Jun Hee kept finding his eyes wandering across the yard, catching a glimpse of two people he felt bitter sweetness towards. It was wrong of him, of course, to feel the negativity he did. He didn't really understand why he felt that way anyway. It'd been about two years since they separated so him feeling whatever he did was a bit immature.

"Huh?" Jun Hee responded, the only thing bringing him back to the present being Hyun Woo's voice. "Oh, right. Yeah, I'll be here tonight." He half smiled, half sighed at the thought of eating decent food. While he could cook for himself, he was far too lazy and there was always something delicate about his best friend's cooking. It brought a sense of comfort and familiarity that he would never be able to imitate.

"Be where?" Sun asked curiously as she leaned in between the two, her eyes matching the innocence of a young doe's.

Jun Hee shook his head and grinned, thumping her head to which she made a loud 'ah'. "None of your business, Kid." He was positive he was only two years older than her, but her childlike nature often made him forget. She was far to happy and outgoing, which made him wonder what kind of life she had while growing up. To be completely honest, being curious about Sun was weird but in a sense they were kind of similar. Both of them didn't really talk about their past or anything personal that was happening to them, or at least to his knowledge.

"Tch." Sun grumbled before her phone made a quiet ding in the back of her pocket. Her small hand reached for the silver device, fingers wrapping around it like it was the last remaining holy grail. The woman's eyes seemed to light up slightly, a gentle smile on her face as she read the text someone had sent her. Realizing that she might've looked odd standing there in silence, she let out an awkward cough.

"Well, I'm going to leave this party early. I'll see you later, Oppa!"

The singer-songwriter watched with relieved eyes as the woman walked away in a rush. He let out a scoff, lips curling up as he made a humorous remark. "I didn't think she had any friends besides you." As Jun Hee was speaking, he sat down in a chair and laid back lazily. Taking a swig of the beer, which had lost its iciness, he teased Hyun Woo. "Yah, you should lay down some ground rules before Sun starts liking you. I can't have a high school crush floating around our place."
