Well, I do have this desire to join the army myself, but I'd rather join the American army since I believe its much safer. If I try to join the army of my country, I might be sent to the south to fight the rebels.

I believe you only die in the US military if you're really dumb or really unlucky. I bet more people die there due to some freak accident rather than actual combat... SO I'D SIGN UP THERE IF I COULD.

But in the Philippine military, I know much less about them but I will probably be sent to clean up a big mess...
