I wanted to make this one separately because I have a very specific niche of pokemon roleplay I enjoy and I didn't want it to get too wordy. I essentially like Pokemon Roleplays that mirror real life. Pokemon being physically dangerous, the consumption of pokemon being a hot political take, crime organizations running poaching rings with rangers combating them as a hybrid police force and people who rescue stranded trainers out in the wild.
I also really enjoy the concept of pokemon not looking like exact copies of themselves. Be that having been bred to have certain traits for appeal or use, hybridizing with others in its egg groups (or heck chaining egg groups to get the 'ideal look'), delta pokemon, pokemon with unique appearances in general that are solitary quirks of nature, and so on
I also want a roleplay partner willing to create a vast world along with touching on things like Religion and Greek-like Cults to different legendary and mythical pokemon. It doesn't necessarily need to be modern time so if you really want to play something around the time of Legends Arceus then I'm so game.
I do draw pokemon, even the hybrids and unique ones. I enjoy drawing ones we come up with and if I do something like this for you, feel free to use it in any way you would like (like future pokemon game references or more extensive character/sonas).
As for characters, I am very flexible on what niche or plotline it falls into. Of course there are some tropes I enjoy more than others:
Ranger x Poacher
Poacher Leader x Civilian
Two Best Friends Against the World
One character rescuing another from a wild pokemon multiple times until they fall in love
Ranger Leader x Ranger Leader (from two different outposts)
A character forced to help in an underground fight ring x the ranger trying to break the case wide open
Honestly I can play either side of any of these. Although I do have a few specific characters I like for each side.
Now to talk rules:
- I am in my 30s. I have a soft limit on people under 24, just contact me and we can talk about it. No one under 18
- All characters will be 20+ years old, these are romance plots and even if we fade to black, I'm not playing a kid
- All characters are OCs but I will accept using canon characters as face claims so long as they are of adult age
- Not picky on whether its art or real life face claims honestly, you don't even need one if you have a good description
- I prefer pairings that are MxM, MxNB, NBxNB. I will roleplay MxF if they are in a strictly asexual relationship but no more than that due to personal reasons.
- This is more of a slice of life roleplay with pokemon added for lore value and cuz they are cute. We don't need to do logistics in battle details, exp counting, etc. The Rule of Cool will apply as needed.
- I love Angst as much as I love Romance. But my Angst needs to come with some level of comfort.
- I prefer mid to fast paced romances, I just get too excited for a good slowburn
