As Captain Andro stood beside Ay'ta, his second in command, he multi-tasked. Being the abled android that he was, he was not only on the ship interacting with his mates, but watching his team's vitals and interactions on planet Phi're. Katarina, his current medic on the field, was quick to begin interrogations. This would please any captain. Jaenko, the tech-savvy man he was, set up a station to help track all the tapping devices. It seemed that Atsutane couldn't minimize his time in building 200, room 2; the employee stationed there was giving him a hard time. Speak of which, Ireythalli was having the hardest of times. Since the beginning of the mission, she's been in an irritable mood. Andro has done many behavioral research and it was very common to see when some was in a mental state of irritability, their mannerisms are likely to rub off in the wrong way of others and trigger socially unacceptable behavior.

He had a careful eye on Ireythalli. With her being separated by the team, most in building 200 and she in 201, he thought it would be best and was thankful for Jaenko's suggestion earlier. But, just as Andro predicted, she was creating bad vibes with the employees there and resulting in an unprofessional scene. The captain had to speak through her earpiece privately. "Excuse me," he said sternly to Ay'ta. Barely giving her a moment to respond to his inquiry about Martha. He found himself in the War Room again. Now, speaking into Ireythalli's ears, "Irey," he started off softly as he observed how she rashly stormed out of room one of building 201, "I'm teleporting you back to the ship." Knowing how complex emotions are, as now he had some personal experience, he knew it was possible for her not open up to him, "The ship got hit by a few asteroids and Mingo needs to be escorted back into the ship." He gave Ireythalli a moment to either object or accept the order.

Sector 6-10 Battleship

Anger, frustration, sadness, all of these emotions were flickering across Ireythalli's slender, ashen face, betrayed her inner feelings to those who would look upon her disgruntled figure seated against the bland wall round the corner. However, the young female was aware that this was no way to act, and that she was letting her mind take control of her body once more in her usually hot-tempered fashion. Breathe in, breathe out... Ire thought to herself as she closed her eyes, resting her arm across her eyes as she did so. Her left leg was stretched out completely while her right leg was hugged to her chest by her other arm, giving the demonic elf a sense of security while she slowed her heartbeat and calmed herself down momentarily. It didn't last long when a set of footsteps rushed around the corner to reveal someone with a hand on her weapon's hilt, causing the sitting woman to tense up immediately. It wasn't until the two fully recognized one another that the tension lessened mildly, but only so.

Ireythalli eyed Katarina, watching the female's movements as she crouched down to eye-level with Ire, her glowing cybernetic eye briefly distracting Ire from the frustration she had felt earlier. The fiery-haired female raised a slender, manicured eyebrow at her younger teammate, wondering what she planned on doing. Her arms were crossed defensively at this point, to say the least. Just as she was about to say something snarky towards the thin blonde, Katarina spoke. "I heard from a few elves around here that these are a really hot commodity on Phi're," her words were gentle and kind as she held out the candy gummies that just so happened to be Ire's favorite. Ireythalli's amber gaze flickered between the gummies and Katarina's eyes, contemplating whether or not she should take the peace offering.

They were just as sweet and soda-flavored as she remembered. Katarina continued: "...I don't know if I hurt you with my behavior - or lack of really, or if this is unrelated entirely ... but I'd really love the chance to properly apologize or talk it out with you, make it up to you later, have some girl talk even ... as soon as we wrap up everything here, you know." Ire looked back at her friend, feeling bad about getting so worked up over nothing. Once again, she opened her mouth to speak but was interrupted, this time by the Captain.
"Irey, I'm teleporting you back to the ship. The ship got hit by a few asteroids and Mingo needs to be escorted back into the ship." Ire shook her head, closing her eyes for a moment to collect her thoughts before sending a response back to their Captain.

"That won't be necessary, Captain. Everything's all hunky-dory down here." The demonic elf offered a smile to Katarina before accepting her outstretched offer of assistance and stood, following in Kat's footsteps by dusting herself off as well. She took in a shaky breath before speaking softly to Katarina, off the comms. "I would really appreciate that talk, later on. I..have things I want you to know." Ire smiled weakly before walking towards the next office they needed to interview, her issue more resolved than it was beforehand. Daedalus figured that it was at that very moment that a cheep from him was necessary. *thumbs up*

Lil'Ayta glanced up from her almost white-knuckled hands, pausing from wringing her hands together as the Captain approached her, startling her slightly. Her freckles were glowing quite brightly from the combined embarrassment of being caught off guard by him and her concern for the crew present on Phi're. Her thoughts consisted of what to say to the crew, what to do in case of an emergency, and what the Captain would think of her overly obsessive worries. Nonetheless, she felt the need to make him aware of what was going on in her mind not only as his Second-In-Command but also as his friend. Internally cringing at the last word she thought, Ayta opened her mouth to speak to her Captain, but was interrupted by his sudden, "Excuse me," as he darted off towards the War Room before she could let him know how Martha was doing and Ayta's plan for the crew. His abrupt response caused her to become even more wrought with agitation, but she shook her head and moved towards one of the control panels in the Command Center that had access to the ship's intercom.

"Greetings, crew of the Sector 6-10 Squad, I, your Second-In-Command, has an announcement to make. For any of you who do not feel ill or under the influence of any sicknesses, medicines, or injuries, please report to the Medical Bay in an orderly fashion to donate blood in case of an emergency. If you have a fear of needles or blood, continue your duties as they are and keep this ship upright. That will be all, thank you." As Ayta finished her small speech, she glanced towards the War Room with a concerned gaze, overhearing the words he spoke to Ireythalli, one of their head engineers. Even though the two were of different races that did not get along, Ayta felt no ill will towards the demonic elf and hoped that everything was going well for the crew, regardless of any hiccups that might have already occurred.

Ayta headed over to the Captain as he finished speaking, and as the conversation appeared to have ended, she placed a pale blue hand on his white, metallic arm in a comforting gesture. "Are you alright, Andro?" At that moment, Ayta was no longer his Second-In-Command, only his friend, his ally, someone to listen to him when he felt upset or angry. She offered a small smile despite her worry, hoping to help ease whatever concerns he had for his crew.

The giant hunk of metal stood idly in the War Room. His white plating reflected the light above him with a spotless glow. The emotion programming installed in his system was signaling him some sort of distress, but it wasn't triggered by the events in Phi're. He felt a strange pain, that didn't really hurt, as he parted from Ay'ta; this was done so he can speak privately with Ireythalli. He thought of her facial luminescent features and how they amplified her beauty. Though this was a thought that crossed his mind, he didn't dare share it with anyone. As Captain, he thought it as inappropriate. The Rules and Guidelines as a commander, though it didn't apply to him because he's an android, was to not sexually harass crew members of the ship. Some examples were provided and it seemed an excess of compliments may inadvertently cause, mostly female identifying beings to feel discomfort.

Ireythalli responded briefly to his request, and it did not surprise him that she declined. He observed her interaction with Katarina. It seemed they have somewhat resolved the pressing issue. Andro had not the slightest idea what was going on between them, but he certainly wished for the best. "Just know, I require your assistance once you're finished with the mission," he stated in a matter-of-fact tone. He then proceeded to close the communication between them. He looked up as he heard the ship's intercom click. Ay'ta just finished announcing a need for blood. He wondered if this announcement was relating to Martha.

A gentle hand was place on the back of his arm. Thanks to his sensory programming, he can feel what most organic beings felt, but with addition to his emotion programming, he felt more with this particular touch. "I should ask the same as you," he turned around and met his small round eyes with her larger one's. He placed his other hand over her's and smiled, "I am fine, Ay'ta. The mission on Phi're is now running smoothly." Andro was very conscience of what he said or did. He felt mind battling with protocols and expectations versus his emotions. His emotions made him want to keep his hand in contact with Ay'ta's, but protocol was to avoid such actions that may lead to a potential lawsuit. His corrupted robotic mind kept countering such ludicrous guidelines since he knew his crew inside and out. This Chordation is a sensational being. She is caring, strong and above all efficient, especially in the medical field.

Finally, Andro decided that he won't let go until she does. It was a strange final decision, but he could see no harm done with this decision. His emotions, apparently, agree with him. In the back of his mind, he still thought of one particular Chordation that was getting on his nerves. He sent him a voiceless message: Mingo, we need your blood if you haven't heard Ay'ta's announcement. Come inside already for pete's sake.

MINGO RATHMIN
Mingo was now out in space. He'd been out in space. Quite a long time. Back home on Chordate, he was prone to what his people called depth-sickness. Depth-sickness was when one went out into the open ocean and simply had what humans might call a daydream. Chordations believed it went deeper, however, and one of their cultural beliefs was that the ocean spoke to them. The water, the currents, the seabed, the waves. The ocean was a living organism, and it communed with these depth-sick individuals like any diety would. Sirens, and those of siren liniage, were more likely to be depth-sick than others.

Mingo wondered if space was the same way. It was its own entity in a way, with its own little particles, its own currents. Radiation and alpha particles from stars and colliding planets formed ripples that could be considered waves, and the stars and the rips in space they created when they died might speak like the currents and the water. What would one call it however? Being space-sick? That was already a thing, like being seasick. He'd have to spend some time thinking about that later.

A voice jerked him back to reality, along with a tug from the end of his magnetic tether. Mingo, we need your blood if you haven't heard Ay'ta's announcement. Come inside already for pete's sake. He'd done it again. In thinking about deep-sickness, he'd gotten... space... sickness... he'd think about a name for it later. Pressing a finger to his comm, he radioed back. "Yea, I got it, sorry. Been thinking about... You know, stuff." The stuff in question could have been a tad bit deeper, but hey. It's not like he was being controlled by sudden urges at the whim of some infintesmal cosmic being that had some kind of isolated influence over the universe. "I'll come on back."

After de-suiting and all that jazz, Mingo headed towards the med bay. After not finding anyone there, he headed towards the war room. Clearing his throat after seeing Ayta and the Captain (he'd felt the vibes a long time ago, it was only a matter of time) he tapped his blue tinged forearm. "Blood," He said.

JAENKO VALERE

After questioning wether to expect the expected, the unexpected, or to be unexpected by expecting the expected, something happened that Jaenko did not expect. The comms went dead. He could tell only by the static feed he got from the one end of the holoscreen out of the corner of his eye. Some bad shit was going down, and he knew it right then and there.

To be honest, the sector 6-10 squad had played right into the perpetrators hands. They split up, they wandered off, and Jaenko could tell the rest of the squad hadn't found all of the bugs yet. Picking up his helmet from where it rolled on the floor, Jaenko fastened it to his belt clip and went off in search of his other team members, elbow cocked at the ready. He was going to get jumped, he could feel it. And this particular nauvon was one that hated, hated, HATED surprises.

Sure enough, a surprise had come. But it wasn't a jumpy suprise. It was a cold one. Jaenko tried turning the door handle of a room in building 201, only to find it jarred stuck. He tried again, pushing down harder, only to have the bit of cold metal come off in his hand with a snap. Upon closer inspection, the door handle was tinged with frost. Jaenko's impatience got the better of him, and he placed his boot very forcefully and very firmly upon its hard, flat surface.

The door opened to reveal a winter wonderland. The automated cooling unit appeared to be "broken", and by broken it was done just spewing liquid nitrogen everywhere. The people of Phi're where sensitive to cold to begin with, but this was too much. To his horror, there were three bodies in the room. Two he didn't recognize, but the third was that of Irethalli. Jaenko crept to where she lay, slumped awkwardly off her chair, and searched for useful information. The only thing of use he found was her sidearm, and her blippy little robot Daedalus, who may or may not still be functional. Jaenko crunched the small coating of ice on the weapon as he flicked the safety off, pocketed Daedalus, and stepped out of the room.

Next, he found Atsutane. He had worned his way into a fusebox hidden under the sleek metal walls of building 200. The greasehead's love of curcutry seemed to be his downfall because his body, crumpled and lifless, was smoking from nothing more than a strong electrical shock. Jaenko knew better than to touch it, he stuck his fingers/tounge/other extremities in his fair share of low voltage electrical sockets. He heard footsteps behind him, and swung around holding up Ire's gun, only to see Katarina, with a pink, robotic arm around her throat from behind.

Jaenko recognized the android from the mission file. This one went by Dory. Through gritted teeth, he growled a warning: "Put, the person, down. Now." Kat seemed to be powerless to stop the android, as her weapon was nowhere to be seen, and the mockingly colorful metal began to squeeze. Jaenko fired a warning shot overhead. "NOW!" His actions were rewarded by the snapping of his squadmates neck, and a dash in the other direction. Cursing, not having the time to mourn, nor the ability to call for backup, Jaenko sprinted in the exact opposite direction towards the server room to fix the latter of the two problems he had.

Once there, he didn't even try the door handle. The android known as Dory was probably hooked up into all the systems, so the door was most likely locked. An extra bit of splntering wood confirmed his suspiscions as his metal shoulder bashed into the door for the third time. Once there, he had to find the stack that was jamming the comms. Correction, his comm. He was the only one left. Twisting off his ring finger to reveal a universal drive input, Jaenko jammed it into the nearest socket he could find.

He cycled through the software as fast as he could. He didnt get very far untill the metallic foot of Dory came into his field of vision. Jerking backwards to narrowly dodge the blow, his arm came away from the port he'd found, and came back with a virus. His cybernetics went dark, acompanied with a sharp pain in his head as his failsafes activated for his eye as it shut down. He would have been glad for that if it werent for the massive blow to the side of his head in the new blindspot, cushioned partially and badly by his horns. He felt a snap, and heard one of the spokes fall to the floor. Jaenko turned tail and fired a few shots behind him, hearing the metallic clang of bullets ricocheting off Dory's metal chassis. At least two out of five hit, the rest went into the servers. Jaenko desperately pressed the button on his comm, looking for some sign that the interference had been interrupted. It had not.

She chased him down the hall. Sparks flew as he once again turned and shot backwards, hitting the fusebox that still had Atsutane's corpse stuffed halfway in it. Those sparks caught fire, and it wouldn't be long untill the fire spread. He fired at Dorithy again and completely missed. She had ducked, and dived low around his legs for a tackle. They both fell, Jaenko's leg snapping in a way it shouldn't have. The lights flickered out. Something boomed in the background, it sounded like an explosion. Jaenko took the opportunity to unload the rest of the clip, four bullets, into Dory's lower body. He couldn't reach anything else, and at least that loosened the androids grip. He bashed the butt of the gun down on her fingers and squirmed away, shoving the gun back in his belt and deattatching his metal arm. It had taken Dory a bit longer to get to her feet with the exposed wiring in them, and Jaenko knocked her down again, slamming her in the chest with his disembodied arm he was now swinging about his head. The red emergency lights had come on now, sirens were blaring, and flames were now apparent in both hallways. It was time to run.

Run he did, as best he could with his busted leg. The front half of the building with the servers had collapsed, and twisted, hot metal reached for him with taut iron claws. He limped through the fire as best he could, but he recieved a nasty burn to his actual arm when the cieling caved, and he barely half ducked half stumbled out of the way. His throat filter kicked in, but the smoke still stung his nose and mouth. He still gripped his metal arm in his actual one, and he wished now more than ever that he hadn't stuck it into the port where Dory disabled it. He still used it to push away bits of stray burning cieling panels or other derbies.

He'd made it. He could see the red sky of Phi're just a hundred feet away. It was stuck behind a mesh of tangled metal and whatnot, but still, he could make it. He dove through, but felt a hot metal grip on his ankle. He expected the worst, and he was right. Dory had grabbed him by the ankle last minute. Thinking fast, he pulled down on the metal, burning his hand, and cutting off Dory's in the process as it brought down the rest of the weight on top of it. And a bit on him. He frantically clawed his way, one armed, from the wreckage, and stood shakily.

His leg was at an odd angle from the knee down. He had burns on his hand, his side, his leg. Now that he thought about it, he had a multitude of brusies on his face, blood seeped out of a scrape on his cheek. His right horn had a piece missing from the top, only suceeding in making him look more disgruntled and forboding when he tried.

Picking up his arm from the wreckage and moving as far and as quickly away as possible, the last explosion sounded from behind him. As if some omunous omen had decided to show itself then and there, Dory's head rolled itself over on the last wave of impact, the haunting blue lights in its eyes dimmed. Scooping up the head and stuffing it in his helmet at his belt, Jaenko pressed a hand to his ear for the last time that day. No interference played, there was not interference left to jam his comm. "Andro." He stated flatly, "Three casualties. Unspecified civilian casualties. Suspect eliminated slash detained. Mission complete." Standing as straight as he could, Jaenko let out a long, low sigh as he spoke the catchphrase he'd heard from an old, old thing called a "television program" at the end of each mission: "Beam me up, scotty."

The smoke tinged the air and caught in his eye. The ashes spread their wings and were just barely learning to fly as Jaenko cracked his neck. He'd just lost some crewmates, some family, and the one thing he wanted more than anything, was to just, go, home.

Lil'Ayta squeezed Captain Andro's arm gently in response to his words, a soft smile forming across her full, pale blue lips. On a human, that would mean they are close to death or suffering from frostbite, but on a Chordation, the cerulean pallor was natural, if not slightly flushed on the petite female as she stood in close proximity with her captain. With a slight blush, she pulled her hand from his, briefly enjoying the pressure of his cold, metallic hand on the back of her warm hand before pulling back and rubbing at the goose-flesh on her thin arms. A beep on her arm indicated that there were blood donators awaiting her arrival in the Medical Bay, prepped and ready for their donations. Ayta looked up at Andro once more and smiled at him momentarily before twirling on her heel and bounding off towards the Command Center's doorway to the hall that would then lead her to the Medbay, her cheeks glowing the entirety of her trip there. As she arrived, quite a few of the crew members shot her worried glances before questioning her as she neared them, trying to find out what exactly they were there for.

"Lil'Ayta, what's the matter? Is everyone okay?"

"Lil'Ayta, why do you need blood?"

"Ma'am, why are we here?"

The questions were fired at her one after another with barely any room for her to answer, so rather than trying to raise her voice above everyone else's she lifted her palm and enclosed it into a fist in the air, which successfully silenced the room and the trail of people leading outside of the Medbay. "These donations are simply for preparation of the worst. Nothing has happened as of yet, and you will all be notified as soon as something does occur." Ayta smiled with confidence to the crew, her comfort reassured by Andro's earlier statements. With that, the others nodded and agreed to have their blood taken from Ayta's assistants and herself, preparing them all in organized pints for future use. Little did she know that she would be needing it sooner rather than later.

Oh my gods. Lil'Ayta froze, dropping the bag of blood she held and the used needle that was wrapped and prepped for safe disposal, both of which hit the floor with a bounce, the needle with a clang. The communicators were dead. The form of communication to anyone on Phi're was not silent as usual, instead the sound of static came to her ear, indicating that the other line was dead or interfered with. Voices asked the Chordation what was wrong, what she was doing, and what happened, but they all blurred into background noise as she ran for the nearest alarm and hit it, bolting from the Medbay to the Command Center, her heart racing and her blood running cold. Her bare feet pounded against the bare metal floor as she reached the Captain, her wide eyes open in fear as her gaze met his. Ayta knew the same thought initially ran through both of their heads, What do we do?

One by one the small blips on her arm became increasingly apparent as they counted off the members of the crew present on the planet. Three total. Ireythalli. Atsutane. Katherine was last, causing the empathetic Chordation to choke on her emotions as they flat-lined, implying that the mission on Phi're definitely went south. Jaenko...is Jaenko alright? Ayta glanced at her arm to look at the bracer that told her about the medical statuses of the crew, and he was still alive, even though his heart rate was elevated and he was definitely under great duress. The blue-skinned female fretted back and forth across the Command Center, trying to find a way to contact Jaenko during his struggles down on the naturally hot planet. Her eyes flickered from one console to the next, liquid with the same consistency as seawater dripping down her glowing skin as she panicked, trying to find out how to contact the remaining crew on Phi're.

The amount of time that had passed caught Ayta off guard when there was finally no interference between the comm. and the ship, allowing them to speak with one another. Just as she was about to speak to the Nauvon, he told her and Captain Andro the body count, what happened, and that the threat was contained. Ayta let out a stifled sob as she looked out at the planet, blaming herself for not being more cautious. She looked at Andro for guidance, since he was her number one after all. She did all that she could do. Blood was prepared for Jaenko, and the only thing left to do was provide the body bags for the dead, which was heart-wrenching. What now? Ayta wiped her face with the back of one of her hands, her tears almost as luminescent as her freckles.

Captain Andro's sensors notified him of the slight pressure Lil'Ayta's delicate fingers gave to his metallic arm. The feel of her pulse rhythmically stimulating his sensors almost made him smile, but of course his subordinate Rathmin delightfully trotted in. His tongue lazily spoke one syllable of a word, capturing his co-commander's attention. As she went on to her duties, she seemed to have walked with a pep in her step or she was simply in a hurry. Andro could not identify the reasoning behind her quirky movement, but the glow on her face in addition to her smile, he felt his peritoneal fluid circulating at a faster rate. He took note of how his emotional programming was aligning with his physical alterations. He found that many of his 'emotions' tend to elevate his internal temperatures. This doesn't bode too well with a mechanical being like himself, perhaps he should request Jaenko to adjust his settings when he returns.

It seemed time was at a stand still on planet Phi're in the communications center, but he was certain his crew was working to the best of their ability. It did not come to a surprise that they temporarily lost connection with his crew at some point. He preemptively hacked into all the androids stationed at the communication's center in case this occurred. A true captain, in other words, a robotically programmed captain would have never resorted to such means because of lack of ethics, but Andro believes he upgraded himself. His emotional programming, at times, overrides legal matters. Such as, in this case, he finds the safety of his crew more significant than evading the privacy of each android present in the building. What privacy could androids possibly need?

The large white robot sat again in his commanding chair within his command station, typing away at his virtual screen. Android67532 Style#018 sat just like Andro typing away at his computing system. This particular action was peculiar. Why was his team unable to communicate with him meanwhile this android was fully able to continue his work. Andro stood promptly, sliding his virtual screen to continuously meet his eye level. He felt his emotional programming kicking in causing an uneasy tenseness in his body. He didn't have time for his emotions and their ties to his body. He temporarily negated his emotion programming. For a slight second, he fought an internal battle with himself. To anyone around him, he seemed like he was staring into space, but he was trying to utilize the androids he hacked to find his team. He was certain they were in danger, but his original programming was kicking in, preventing him from unethically hacking other androids and invading their privacy. Though with a moving body, it would have been easier to spot his comrades, he decided to monitor through the available systems of technology within Phi're's communications center.

No one was where there were originally. Security cameras did not catch them in the halls. As quickly as he could type, he searched for his team with every available machine. After much monitoring, Andro finally found Dory Android125 acting quite out of character for a fellow android. He recorded enough evidence to justify his reasoning to hack into her system. Dory looked directly into her reflection and inadvertently to Andro's eyes. This look implied her knowingness of his hacking. She had quite an intricate firewall. Only an android with something to hide would contain such high level software. It was more advance than the regular software they'd provide for android employees of the communications center.

Andro thought deeply of the possibilities of where she'd come across such technology. She could have obtained the goods from an intergalactic pirate with the stolen software or she received aid from a software company in Terran. Only Terran has the best software, Andro would know. If he wanted to know more, he needed to successfully bypass her firewall, but he was no software engineer. Only Jaenko, Ireythalli or Kobe could handle this situation effortlessly, but they are all now in Phi're with their communications severely interfered.

Dory had her sights on Jaenko. According to her monitor, he seems already aware of her mischievous deeds. Three members of his crew already flat-lined. Though the captain was not an engineer, he was not about to give up. He found himself researching while implementing his research on disabling her firewall. He simultaneously monitored Lil'Ayta as well too ensure she was working coherently. Being her second in command, she had access to the same information he had. The organic being expectedly heightened her stress, but was still functioning appropriately.

Alas, Jaenko concluded the mission once the interference was clear. The captain teleported him immediately to the med-bay and responded accordingly to his message, "Good work. Once you're recovered, I need you to find an upgrade to our communications system that'll decrease the likeliness of interference." His voice was masculine yet monotone.

The captain was finally able to bypass her firewall thanks to Jaenko's decapitation of her head, but little did he know that her body was to explode in a few seconds at the command of Iagerplatz Inc. Thankfully, he was able to pinpoint this valuable data. The explosion did not concern the emotionless robot. He barely had any crew members to aid in the aftermath of Phi’re’s communications center except for one fellow native from Phi're who was a part of his crew, but took a small vacation. Phi'gorra relaxation was not a concern for Andro, so he immediately contacted her to aid medically to their comrades in the communications center. Now, he needed to hire new members to follow through with their next mission on Planet Terran. Tap. Tap.Tap. Light familiar footsteps were heard near him. He turned to find his second in command ready to burst emotionally.

"Hold strong," he said firmly, but he secretly wished to turn his emotions software on.

"Back up is on the way to aid the deceased and wounded on planet 6," he knew she needed more than words, but without his emotional programming, he felt no urge to hold her.

He watched her, almost blankly, as she tried to hold in her tears and quickly wipe them away if they escaped her large pale blue eyes.

"Our loss was great today. I understand your grief, but you're needed at the Sick Bay."

No, he did not understand her grief. He only knew that if his emotion program was online, he'd share a similar pain. He would feel his peritoneal fluid slow, his body would grow cold as it did so, and an added weight in his chest. All he can see it as is needless pain, an additional load to deal with in addition to his work.

He returned to database HUD looking up potential Androids to hire. The white human-emulated man felt he needed more crewmembers like himself.

JAENKO VALERE

Lightly panting under the strain of his wounds, Jaenko took a few moments to compose himself. He trudged off to the medical bay, swinging his head from side to side, going more by his feeling in his horns than his one good eye. This was apparent as he stumbled into things, bumping his head against a door or two before finally setting himself down at the medical bay.

Jaenko went against the regs and grabbed a syringe of morphine, jabbing it into his thigh. He deserved it, especially since he set his knee back into place with a swift jerk, and with no warning to Ayta. "Sorry Ayta," Jaenko said through gritted teeth, "I'm not doing too hot." He was about to lay down and let her do her doctorly things, probably stitching up the cut under his eye, the large scrape across his cheek, hell, with the way his one side hurt, he wouldn't be suprised if he'd bruised a rib. He'd probably need a brace or a cast for his knee, and he'd kill for a good shower. Then there was all the burns he'd recieved, and the pain for those had just overcome their original numbness. The horned nauvon could feel a dull ache set over his body, supressed by the morphine he'd so liberally self administered.

He was glad the captain congradulated him, and retorted with one of his usual remarks. "How's this for an upgrade," he huffed, taking his helmet with dory's head in it from his belt and smacking it down on the floor by the medical cot he was sitting on, "I blew this off myself. Had to rip my own arm off and beat the thing To death with it." Almost on cue, the head exploded. The helmet minimized the damage, but hey, explosions are explosions. Jaenko, who had just lay down, felt a bit of a dull pain in his side, of course, supressed by the morphine, and looked down to see that bits of the polymer of the helmet was made from had lodged themselves like splinters in his flesh. He didn't even have time for a snarky comment before he felt the blood rushing in his ears, and his vision faded to black. If he hadn't have used that syringe, he would have also felt himself smack down onto the medical bed in an awkward, but strangely convenient position for someone in his current situation.

Azel'fe and his brother, Adol'fe, felt almost invisible on the ship. Despite not being acknowledged by most of their crewmembers, they didn't mind the lack of attention, but they surely felt all sorts of tensions in the air. Azel and Adol would give each other knowing looks as they spot their captains acting peculiarly together. They always thought something was up with the two of them. Often when the two pilots were alone, Azel'fe would speak daringly in Phi to his brother of his speculations of the two knowing full well of the possibility of Andro hearing him and even understanding his language. What bothered him most of all was how can anyone love that thing-of-a-woman. His brother's amber eyes were shifty as he sat confidently in his piloting chair talking to him, clearly ignoring Adol's fear of their conversation being heard.

Suddenly, the air shifted from that of a warm excited feel to that of gloomy and emergent feel. They could hear feet shuffling throughout the ship as people hurried to their places. Captain Andro was in the War Room not too far from them, so they were able to pick up most of his monochronic talk regarding the mission. Azel ran his long and thick fingers through his naturally bright red hair as he more or less understood the dire situation the squad was in. It was clear Andro had shut off his emotions; oddly enough, he could hear the slight shift in Andro's tone. Instead of sounding like his usual optimistic robotic self, he sounded just like a robot. From the little he heard, he could tell someone was injured, but who? Adol'fe wore his emotions on his sleeve and made it clear he was concerned. Azel simply continued piloting. He could relate to Andro shutting off his emotions. Sadly, he didn't have that ability, but he could hide them in the very least.

At the moment, it seemed only Azel'fe and Adol'fe were the only able engineers currently on board. Which meant that the dumb Chordation that searched outside of the ship for any damages couldn't do anything, but acknowledge the problem. With that thought in mind, he let out a frustrated sigh. If the team on Phi're are coming back injured, odds are, he's going to have to do the job. Though it is always ideal to have two pilots at all times, there are cases when you just gotta do what you have to do.

"I'm going out to fix the ship. Take the wheel while I'm gone, will ya?"

His brother gave him a dismissive wave and a roll of his eyes.

Azel took the elevator down to the lower deck and exited the ship through the air lock. He had on him some portable electric tools. He made sure the grounding circuits were checked before taking them with him. Upon sighting a abrasion the ship had, he pulled out his handheld grinder to polish the ship. A small portion of the ship's shield was down due to some damaged wires under the it's plating. It wasn't long till the ship was 100% back in shape and he was back in the airlock of the ship.

They wouldn't stop flowing. Like water flowing down a river, the luminescent tears streaked down her pale blue face, which appeared even paler than usual. She tried wiping at them in front of her captain, but to no avail. He had turned off his emotions, the Chordation just realized, making him invulnerable to the flood of emotions Ayta herself was dealing with. She half wished she could do the same and turn off her own emotions, but as she glanced away from Andro guiltily, she was half grateful she had them. Emotions, while they can make you weak and irrational, can also make you strong and wise. Not to mention how she felt towards Andro - she didn't want those feelings to go away. Ayta shook her head, getting her mind into the swing of things that consisted of treating Jaenko, who was already making his way to the Medbay. The people who lined up dispersed with a wave of Ayta's hand, holding onto their questions for later.

As soon as Ayta entered the Medbay her eyes landed on the wounded Nauvon and his hand as he jabbed his leg with a shot of morphine, causing the Chordation female to shout out in surprise and anger. She rushed towards him as he apologized to her for doing so, but she could understand why. Still, that was a horrible place to insert the needle, which needed to be disposed of now. With an exasperated sigh, Ayta put on gloves and removed the needle from the area, placing it into the bio-hazard chute. "You're lucky you're still... alive." Ayta choked up slightly at the last part of her sentence, turning back towards Jaenko to take care of his wounds. She touched a finger to his broken horn gently and coated it with frost, since she knew that area was going to be tender later on. "Let me know when you want the frost removed." Ayta spoke softly, staying quiet as he spoke through his communicator to the Captain and placed the head down on the ground beside the cot he was on.

Which would have been fine, if it hadn't exploded. Pieces of shrapnel landed themselves in Ayta's legs from her calves to her thighs, some reaching her stomach and arms (because a blast radius is a thing). She let out a small hiss at the pain, but all of the pieces of metal and plastic only penetrated her skin by a centimeter or two at most, which meant it was treatable. Jaenko, however, was her top priority, so Ayta made frost appear on her wounds and left the shrapnel in them for the time being, taking care of her Nauvon friend while he lay on the cot in dulled pain. She closed his deeper wounds with dissolving stitches that would disintegrate when the wound was properly healed, repositioned his leg so that the bones would grow back properly before giving him a cast that bound itself to his leg and sped up the healing process of his wounds, and cleaned his body with fresh water from the nearby sinks, warning him beforehand that she was going to douse him in warm water and then remove every drop to dry him off.

As soon as she finished, Ayta burst into tears, finally acknowledging the fact that her friends were dead, and that two of them, whom she had taken care of briefly between treating Jaenko's wounds, were comatose due to their conditions. She would have to put their bodies in body bags, send them home, and explain to their families what had happened. Ayta openly sobbed her heart out in the Medbay, ignoring her own wounds as she covered her face with her hands, wishing she had done more than just raised her personal concerns with the Captain.

A grin spread across the face of the android mentioned at the end post #33 as she accepted the offer to work on a ship in search of androids similar to the Captain. Sure, I can be bossy. Especially in bed. TR1N1T33, better known as Trin, winked at the photograph of Andro on the application, grinning as she did so. Especially with a hot hunk of metal like him. "Mm." Trin bit her lip and continued to lop-sidedly smile at the picture before glancing up at the ship she just got transferred to from the Sector 6-10 Squad Training Facility. She was the top student when it came to skills and training, but the worst when it came to following the rules (such as, 'Do not sleep with your fellow students.' She was horrible at that one.). Nonetheless, this Android62128 Style#027 who referred to himself as Captain Andro still hired her, which meant he was game for her mischief.

"Heh...may the odds be ever in your favor, Cap." Trin snickered to her screen before turning it off and sliding it back inside her abdomen, which stored several doodads many of the androids were built with depending on the maker. Trin made sure her hair was done up in a rather old-fashioned style, giving her a 60s look from several centuries ago (her databases had access to photographs from that era and she enjoyed the feminist movements during that time period, so she adopted their looks). Her hair was done up with a twirl here and a flower there, making her look like an absolutely curvy sweetheart while she was truly just a mischievous android who loved causing trouble and making men's mouths water. Trin marched across the platform from the Security Station to the lift in her fully clad suit that was both tight and revealing, causing a couple heads to turn on her way to the Command Center to meet her Captain for the very first time.

The lift ride to the top floor of the ship was rather boring, but Trin made do making sure her hair was primed and that all of her machinery was in the right socket, before the doors opened to reveal a rather bustling walkway.
People were leaving the Medbay, some were entering it, one of them injured, all of which was rather intriguing to her, but she had a goal in mind already and was planning on going through with her plan. Little did Trin know that she was no match for the awesomenessamazing Chordation in the Medbay. "Hiya, Cap." Trinitee leaned against the doorway to the Command Center, her hip pressing against the frame while she crossed her arms beneath her breasts, making them more pronounced than they already were in the bra she wore openly as part of the suit. "The name's TR1N1T33, but you can call me Trinny~" She winked at Andro, her glowing white eyes scanning over his person as she awaited his response with an amused grin on her face.

"Santé ! – A votre santé ! – Tchin Tchin !" Phi'gorra and her friends shouted as they clashed their drinks cheerfully.

It was a typical hot day for them and there was no better place to be than at a bar with cool refreshments. Her emerald green eyes were wide as she slammed her free hand hard against the bar's counter after one of Phi's friends' drink spilled all over their clothes. She laugh so loud her buds couldn't help, but to join her. Their harmonious laughter would cause anyone to look and stare curiously for they were as loud as rock concert. Finally, their chuckles quieted and a new alarming sound captured everyone's attention. Almost every Elf slid out their holographic hand-set and enabled their HUDs to display the incoming news.

Phi'gorra wore an irritated expression as she practically lived to avoid news of catastrophes. She was not on duty and was determined to remain off duty. Out of curiosity, even her friends had two-dimensional screens floating before them as chaos was displayed on them. Immediately, she swiped at their screens with a wicked grin on her lips.

"Hé !" they responded abruptly.

"Essayons-nous de passer un bon moment ou quoi?" she let out a scoff.

She crossed her arms and continued to wear her mischievous grin. With that grin, her friends knew. If they tried to reactivate their screens, she'd just swipe them away again. Phi'gorra was always playful and loved toying with practically anyone even at the worst moments. This may be true about her, but there is one thing most people don't know. Her pranks and jokes and whatnot are her defense mechanisms against feeling any sort of negative emotions. She hated feeling sad or angry, so she preferred to joke and ignore the direness of the situation than take it seriously. Hence, her job never really bringing her down despite its ups or downs.

Beep. Beep. And there it was. The sound of her captain pinging her. The female elf only saw the news for a split second and she knew the Sector 6-10 Squad would be there, but what she didn't know is that they desperately needed her now. Her wide grin slowly faded and she passively brushed her blonde hair behind her long pointy ears. She was looking down for a while, reading his message. The moment she looked up, all her friends were looking at her reflecting the concern she wore.

"Je dois y aller." With that said, she stood and left the bar to Sector's 6 Comms Center. Of course, she finished her last swig of beer before leaving.

With one click of a button, she was in her Squad 6-10 uniform. The black armor fitted like a glove; it inadvertently flaunted her fit, slender body. She twirled her hair into a bun with one hand then swiftly put on her helmet. The ambulance, police and news crew were all present, causing quite an anomaly of sounds. As expected, the news spokes-people came flooding around her yelling spontaneous questions:

"What was the reason the Sector 6-10 Squad was called in originally?"

"Who caused the explosion in the Comms Building 200?"

"How many of your men are dead or injured?"

"Umm.. you know I'm coming from the outside, right?" she gave them a shrug and walked past them.

Her response didn't fool the news people. They followed behind her spouting even more questions. Some of the questions were simply mocking her statement. Some questions weren't questions at all. She turned around with a large smile and finally responded to the pestering reporters:

"Oh! I remember now! I think, like, a gazillion people are dead in there. I'm just helping to pick up the bodies," she gave them an even more dramatic shrug this time around.

The news crew, at that point, gave up. She was already past the police anyway, so they couldn't follow her even if they wanted to. It was not even a few seconds and she found herself sprinting to a familiar face on a stretcher. With his bright green hair and raven-like eyes, she hovered over him only to find he was unconscious.

"Oh.. Birdy-boy.. I'm taking this one with me," she took hold of the stretcher.

"Oh, don't worry. I'll give this back," she pointed at the stretcher.

She went back and forward looking for familiar bodies. Tears swelled up in her eyes as she spotted Irethalli. Her hair was like a bird's nest, As usual... she thought to herself with a smile. Phi'gorra swept a stray firey-red hair from her face. As time went on, she helped gather her deceased crew members and helped a few others along the way.

"I'm ready to teleport everyone onto the ship.. me and the zombeh squad," she said with a sheepish laugh.

MINGO RATHMIN
After a bit of asking around, Mingo understood that those who had gone down to the surface of phi're had died. All except for Jaenko. At this he was glad, Jaenko and he were close, even though they were polar opposites. But he felt something in the air with his siren lineage, a large reverberation. A dampened explosion. He strode calmly but swiftly to the source of origin, the medbay.

He saw the broken helmet on the floor, its inner padding shredded by the pink metal of Dory's head. Mingo recognized it as a trophy, like the ones Jaenko usually took from particularly nasty opponents, a practice he'd picked up from his upbringing on chordate. In hindsight, the Nauvon was extremely lucky, far more than anyone else on this ship.

Upon registering Ayta's sobs, he checked over Jaenko to make sure he was breathing. He was. Mingo placed his hand in front of his friends face, and in recieving a weak tap from his undamaged horn, Mingo could tell that the gruff little engineer would be just fine in time. This kid was made of some pretty tough material, and mingo had seen him recover from worse.

Mingo sat down next to Ayta, gently placing a hand on her back. He rubbed gently, making a circular pattern to calm her down. "Things happen sometime," He said softly, "It's not always our fault. But mistakes mean that we are trying to make the world a better place." Jaenko stirred a bit on the bed, but mingo could tell by the twitch at the corner of his mouth that he approved. As soon as he woke up, mingo could hear him say "Atta boy. Hundred and twenty years old and you still got game."

Andro was not able to comfort his fellow second in command. Her luminescent tears simply flowed across her ill-colored face. The robotic captain only felt one thing and it was the urge to turn on his emotions. He didn't understand the sudden need for it. The emotionless being thought it was simply to aid his comrade, but he calculated the odds. If he turned on his emotional software while most of his crewmates were emotionally affected, he was bound to feel 'grief' as well. Andro knows he cannot put his emotions offline if it is altering his body's regular functions. This occurred once and it resulted in bodily discomfort without emotions. The solution to this occurrence was to reactivate his emotions and to let the phase pass 'naturally.'

He already dismissed his second in command. She left without uttering a single word which left him with the lingering feeling to switching on his emotions, but his robotic self predicted he would too fall to the pit of emotions like Lil'Ayta. It was a few minutes after her departure, he heard an explosion within the ship. First, he scan the ship for any damages. Thanks to Azel'fe, the ship was back at one-hundred percent capacity. The masculine elf didn't speak much to the captain, but he understood his role in the ship and almost never was needed to be given orders. With this in mind, the captain didn't need to acknowledge his good work. In fact, there was a flaw in his decision. There was only one active pilot on duty and the Sector 6-10 Battleship requires at least two.

"Hiya, Cap." Trinitee leaned against the doorway as she spoke.

"Ah, perfect timing. That's what I expect from a fellow android," he commented in response to her greeting.

"The name's TR1N1T33, but you can call me Trinny~"

"Acknowledged. I'm sure you have seen my name on file, but you can refer to me as Captain Andro."

"Now, I need you to take over as a pilot until Azel'fe returns," he walked over to where his brother sat piloting.

"This is Adol'fe," the pilot didn't bother turning his head, but gave a brief wave as he was acknowledged.

"I have some matters to attend to. Welcome aboard!" With that said, the captain was off.

Andro barely took any note of the garnish in her hair or the excessive bodily exposure. As he was speaking with Tr1n1t33, he was surveying the room Ayta occupied. Her injuries were not fatal, but it seemed she was overwhelmed and required assistance. Just as he was walking over, he spotted Mingo beating him to the punch. Normally, his robotic self would've turn around and tend to other pressing issues, such as beaming Phi'gorra in with the corpses, but he seemed to have been malfunctioning; he was frozen in place, almost staring Mingo dead in the eyes. It was almost as though his body was refusing to let him go anywhere else, but into the sick bay. Was his emotions still on? His body was acting quite erratically and still was. He felt his body involuntarily move toward the room.

"Is everything okay?" his hand took a tight grip on the edge of the doorway, slowly crippling it as time passed.

He felt his brows furrow and his mouth twist to the side. His voice also felt a tad deeper than usual. Somehow, he is displaying his emotions of 'concern' or 'anger' despite his emotions being offline. The software must have some sort of glitch. Once he regains control of his body again, he'd have to seek 'medical' assistance with his engineer Azel'fe. Even though, he is one of the engineers he spoke with the least. Quite an oddity since Andro naturally tries to befriend his engineers more than any other crewmember.

Water was normally Ayta's thing. She could control it, use it for her own purposes, and manipulate it to her will. The tears that spilled from her face for what felt like eons? Not at all. She was embarrassed to be crying in front of Jaenko, regardless of his lack of consciousness for the time being, and when Mingo entered the room, she felt even more ashamed of herself for expressing such emotion when she was the Second-in-Command and was meant to be a leader of sorts beside the Captain. The Captain. He was the one person she wanted at that moment, the one who could calm her down more than anyone else could. Mingo's reassuring rubs on the small of her back made her feel a little more centered and turned her sobs into hiccuping sobs that were much quieter than her previous outburst, but she still felt an immense and overwhelming sense of grief spread through her body and cause her to tremble. Her crewmates were not just engineers, medics, pilots, etc., the majority of them were her friends. They helped her through some rough patches in the last five years, and even a couple, like Mingo, were like family to her.

Mingo's soothing words helped the female Chordation slow her sobs down a bit, but when the bodies of her late friends were transported into the Medbay, Ayta stiffened up, her freckles continuing to glow at an incredibly bright frequency as her large blue eyes glanced from each face to the other. My friends...they're gone...how could they be gone? Ayta shivered and gripped her arms, tears continuing to stream from her eyes even though the sobs fell silent. Andro then arrived at the Medbay, asking if everything was okay. Ayta walked towards him, tears falling to her chest and the floor in front of her as she stood in front of him, looking up at his metallic face, registering the complex expression he had on his face. With a shaky breath, Ayta looked him directly in the eyes with a sort of anger and hurt behind her voice as she spoke.

"Just because you turned your emotions off doesn't mean you won't feel this later. So don't ask if everything's okay, because that question should be rhetorical. Our friends are dead. Two of them have to be sent to their home planets for recovery, while two others were brutally murdered by an Android that has left literal shards in my body. Everything is not okay." Ayta's voice grew more shaky as she continued, the last phrase causing more tears to appear on her slender blue face, which resulted in the sparkling of her freckles as she shivered once more in front of Andro, wondering how he was going to respond to her phrasing. Was he going to lecture her? Chastise her for speaking against her captain? Ayta sniffled and shivered again, tears falling onto her arms as she crossed them over her chest and held herself, trying not to fall apart again.

MINGO RATHMIN
Mingo stood up, glad to have the emothional weight and all her medical baggage off his shoulders to pass off to the captain. He thought that a medical professional would be used to death by now, or at least be able to contain herself untill a time when her medbay had no more patients to worry about. He'd seen more blood and gore in his time in the arena, from fighting and killing underwater terrors to real, armed combatants, and Ayta was about twice his age. "People die," he stated flatly, "They don't need us to worry about them anymore."

After Phi'gorra was teleported to the medbay with the bodies, Mingo decided it would be best for the captain and Ayta to leave, since they had a medical professional who was not in tears and him, to keep an eye on Jaenko. "Ayta, maybe you and the captain should attend to more important matters than a routine mission cleanup. Phi'gorra and I got this." Jaenko stirred a bit at the mention of his name, one of his legs bucking a bit. Even in his sleep, he was throwing in his two sense. Mingo would have laughed, if it wasn't for the seriousness of the situation.

Mingo hated missions where people died. But, they happened often enough. He didn't want anyone to die. Some people just didn't die, his would live for centuries if they were lucky enough to stay out of trouble. Some Nauvalous lived rather lengthy spans of time, and Androids lasted literally forever, even if they had deactivated. But it was a dangerous life they lived, here in the squads, 6-10 especially. At least they didn't have to deal with any of the harsh conditions or hostile sentient beings that roamed the outer planets and the space around them.

All Andro asked was "Is everything okay?" and it seemed his question clearly irritated the female Chordation. Her glossy blue eyes pierced through him like bullets. His grip loosened on the edges of the door as she approached him then his hands fell flat at his side when they were nearly inches from each other. The Android has never seen Ayta this infuriated. In their five years working together, these deaths were the most they have ever had in a mission. No matter how advance his emotion programming was, he may never know the profound feeling of grief most organic beings feel.

Lil'Ayta's outburst was the least expected outcome in Captain Andro's thoroughly calculated mind. Her shaken voice grew stronger as she spoke of her discontentment with his tendency to deactivate his emotions. At the end of her rant, she brought her wounds to his attention to emphasize on this mission's catastrophic nature.

"I'm sorry, Lil'Ayta," he delicately touched slightly below one of the shards that pierced her belly.

He analyzed the blood on the edge of his white finger tips as Mingo nonchalantly spoke his mind. The male Chordation wasn't wrong, but because of the emotional stress of loss and other personal matters, most Squads contain an Android as captain. Second in commands were typically organic beings as well to compliment the robotic beings.

"Ayta, maybe you and the captain should attend to more important matters than a routine mission cleanup. Phi'gorra and I got this"

"Good call," without a second thought, Andro swept the woman before him off her feet.

"Downloading medical procedures for removing metal shrapnel."

The captain walked off with his second in command in his arms. He made sure she was in a safe resting position as he effortlessly carried her body. He was certain his emotion software was glitching because he found himself smiling as he walked through the nearest hallway to the Doctor's Cabin.

Finally, Phi'gorra was teleported into the ship along with the deceased and one unconscious member. "Oh mon Dieu, that took forever," she said to herself. Usually Cap is on top of things... shit must be bad... she thought. Slowly, but surely she transferred all the dead bodies into the dry storage. Honestly, she didn't know where else to put them. She mostly definitely did not want to put them in a place people commonly circulate. That would simply be awkward in her opinion. Phi'gorra was aware that they would eventually have a proper squadron funeral. The blonde elf was certain their captain already notified the deceased's family or closest relative(s).

Finally, Phi got around to transferring the unconscious Kobe to the sick bay. "Oh, hey there blue guy," she said as she casually strode into the room. "Oh, don't worry, he's not dead" she added as she anticipated a curious look onto Kobe's body. "Looks like whoever tried to kill him almost succeeded. In his condition, I fear he might end as a vegetable," she shrugged towards the Chordation and continued rambling, "... so what's the sitch? I see you're here, but where's Ayta? She couldn't have possibly went to Phi're." She leaned against the nearest wall then noticed Jaenko on the bed. She laughed under her breath, Still kicking, eh? Sérieusement, vous ne pouvez pas vivre sans moi...

Lil'Ayta wavered as she stared her Captain down, tears threatening to continue their streams down her pale face. Andro did something Ayta did not expect: apologize. He uttered an apology to her, then proceeded to touch her stomach below where one of the pieces of shrapnel had pierced her cold flesh. His fingers were warm as he touched the blood dripping from the wound, which now registered in Ayta's senses as being painful. She shivered from his warmth and let out a small whimper as he removed his hand from the tender wound. Not a moment later, he swept her up into his arms in one fluid motion, startling the hell out of her and causing her to turn a bright shade of bioluminescent blue. A squeak left her lips and she immediately struggled against Andro's strong grip, but it was to no avail because he continued walking with her in his arms without any deterrence. "Let me go, Andro!" Ayta's voice was small compared to usual, but she couldn't stop blushing and his smile made it worse. She didn't want him to see her flushed like this, so she continued to argue with him."I can handle myself!" She wiped at her tears furiously, unsure of how she should feel at the moment. Embarrassed? Griefstricken? She enjoyed the comfort of his arms, but that was not how she should behave.

Andro artificially blinked in confusion as Lil'Ayta struggled in his hold. He felt the Chordation was acting irrationally; his small smile quickly faded with these thoughts. Nonetheless, he gently dropped the female on her feet. It was better than having her hurt herself within his arms. Despite her wincing upon him touching her wounds, he trusted her words regarding handling herself.

"Lay on your bed in your cabin, I will tend to your wounds," he said simply. He went ahead of her, occasionally glancing back as she followed behind. Once he was in the doctor's cabin, he gathered the necessary tools to tend to her and laid them near her bedside. As he waited for her to lay on the bed, he took hold of the forceps and held them as instructed by his downloaded data. The ring finger and thumb of his right hand are placed on the rings as the middle finger and index finger are supporting the shaft.

Ayta frowned at Andro until he put her down, trying to dry her face more as he did so. She sniffled softly and looked away from Andro, avoiding eye contact as he handled her gently, commanding her to lie on her bed directly afterward. The Chordation female opened her mouth to protest but no sound came out as she was reminded of her earlier outburst to the Captain, which she now began to realize actually occurred. Horrified with her behavior, Ayta moved to her bed in silence, frowning much deeper than before. When she lay herself down as tenderly as possible to avoid putting any more shards deeper into her body, she relaxed on her side and looked up at Andro, her forehead creased in apology.

"I'm so sorry, Captain. I didn't mean to speak out to you, nor yell at you..." Ayta bit her lip and looked away in shame, loathing herself for having treated him so harshly.

"Organic beings have a tendency to do that, but to be honest... I did not expect that from you." Ayta winced when he told her that he did not expect her behavior, but she continued to stay silent regardless of his future attempts at conversation. Andro adjusted her bed settings so that most of her wounds were slightly elevated. He began removing shards and placing them in a metallic pan; while doing so he asked Ayta, occasionally, to apply pressure to the wounds with a towelette as he only has two hands. The Android took note of her introverted like behavior - she listened to his commands and followed his requests quietly, and he found himself glancing often at her distancing face. If her head could turn anything further, he was afraid it would break, but he was certain she wouldn't push herself to that extremity.

"Most androids are cleanly beings. I would suspect you would not obtain any infections," he needlessly commented. A few more minutes of silence passed and he spoke again.

"The bleeding should stop by now. You no longer need to apply pressure. I will be cleaning the wound now." Ayta lifted her hands from her wounds when she was told not to apply pressure anymore, and at that point, she felt numb to the pain. Numb to her emotions, to her feelings - both physical and mental. She lifted her arms so that he may clean and dress the wounds around her stomach and arms, her gaze fixated on her own legs where some of the shrapnel had been. In their stead were finite cuts that were being touched gently by Andro as he cleaned her wounds. He soaked a cloth in a saline solution and gently dabbed her skin with it. He watched her carefully, hoping not to inflict further physical pain. The Android imagined she was dealing with enough distraught emotions. At last, he sat Ayta up and wrapped the bandages around her stomach.

"Feel better?" Ayta made no sound as she sat up and looked at Andro, her eyes sad. Her freckles glowed faintly, and her forehead creased slightly as she proceeded to ask her captain a question she felt deserved an answer. "Why did you do this? Why did you apologize and then smile as you carried me and then treat me as you did just now? Why are you being this way after I was disrespectful in front of others in your crew? Why haven't you suspended me from my duties or done something worse?" After a moment of silence, she mumbled softly, "Yes, I feel better."

”Good,” he went over to the sink to wash his hands then spoke again. “You know, Lil’Ayta, I may be an Android, but I chose to evolve. I learned life is not black nor white. Had I been the Android freshly programmed from Earth, I would have never chosen an organic being as my second in command. They are too flawed, but after losing the trust of my old team resulting in our disbandment, I did not want the one flaw Androids had. No emotions.” Ayta followed him with her eyes, grimacing slightly when he suggested what would have happened if he had been a fresh Android from Earth.

He dried his hands and walked over to Ayta again, “Now with emotions, I have more flaws. One of them is the fear of losing control of my emotions, so I made sure I had the ability to activate and deactivate them.” Ayta frowned at this, unhappy still with his ability to turn them off. It made him less...realistic, she felt his distance and chill compared to when he could smile alongside her and the rest of the crew. She understood, though, that this was a fear that he could do nothing about, really.

”I apologize for this...” he found himself smiling again, “... fear I have. I have seen other beings act irrationally because of their emotions. Sometimes, it saved lives and sometimes it killed. Statistically, I have seen more death than life. In your case, you somehow were able to work while distressed. Once your work was done, you allowed your emotions to break free. As a result, you saw my flaw more vividly and with your emotions loose, you spoke impulsively." The female Chordation averted her eyes when he mentioned her impulsive outburst, still ashamed of herself for talking out against her superior. She opened her mouth to say something but was quickly cut off by Andro continuing his monologue.

“I am not Android62128 Style#027. I am Andro. I understand you more than any modern Android would. If you truly disrespected me, you would not be a part of my crew. You would not care about my reaction towards your outburst.” Finally, he sat next to her on the bed and admitted one more detail answering one of her many questions, “Honestly, Lil’Ayta, my emotions are currently deactivated and have been since Jaenko’s report. The only reason I smile, get mad, or even want to get close to you is because...” he swept his thumb across her luminescent freckled cheek, “... my emotions for you refuse to deactivate." Ayta's mouth was slightly agape in response to Andro's softspoken words, stroking her cheek as he did so. She flushed a bright blue and looked away, embarrassed for her own sake as her face changed colors because of his words. Andro's gaze on her only made it worse, and she could barely bring herself to look back at him as he smirked at her, opening his mouth once more to speak.

"You are such an exquisite being.” His smirk and phrase made her blush brighter and more frustrated with his effect on her, so she decided to do something rash and maybe get him back for what he was doing to her. Pursing her lips together as she furrowed her brows at him, she muttered under her breath, "Fine." With a smirk of her own, Ayta leans forward with surprising ease and put her own hand on his metallic cheek, gently pressing her lips to his as she did so. She was aware of the fact that he didn't know how to kiss or probably hadn't kissed before, but the expression on his face would be worth it. Ayta pulled back with the same smirk upon her face and retracted her hand from his face. As much as she enjoyed kissing him, she wanted to see his reaction and wondered what he would do next.

”Did we just exchange... a kiss?” He felt his body rise in temperature. He merely paused then took a moment to touch his own lips. They were slightly moistened by the interaction. He felt like a motionless doll when her lips laid upon his. His lips emulated that of a human’s, but it lacked texture. At the very least, his body was so hot his lips would reflect the warmth his body had from within. Andro was perplexed, curious, and calm despite his temperature rising abnormally. Most organic beings would exchange bodily fluids to express affection. On the other hand, he lacked the clear liquid that would secret into the mouth. In addition, he lacked a tongue. Nothing in his mouth was moist. He moves his mouth for the sake of his voice box. The shape of his mouth helped him articulate his words. Overall, he had no special ability to intensify or better their kiss. This had Andro’s gears working real hard. He needs more upgrades.

Ayta grinned at the Android, relishing in the confusion and perplexion of his reaction. She played a hand on his and squeezed gently, her voice teasing as she spoke. "That is indeed what we just exchanged." She could feel his warmth as she gripped his hand and chuckled softly to herself, satisfied with the fact that she caught him off guard.

If Andro got any hotter, his circuits would fry, but being the intelligent being that he was, he knew only one outcome would occur to prevent this instance. He needed to shut down to cool off. His emotion software was seemingly deactivated, so there was no other method to resort to. “I’m sorry, Ayta. Please watch the ship while I cool down,” with that said, his eyes closed and he remained sitting still on her bed.

Ayta shook her head softly as he apologized and proceeded to shut down, stroking his hot hand with her thumb as he did so. "Okay." She spoke to no one in particular, a small smile on her face as she sat up. He treated her wounds to make her feel better, understood her outburst, and made her feel wanted. She even kissed him! Her cheeks flushed again as her smile grew, but she quickly shook her head and pushed back the happy feelings. It was time to do a job her Captain gave her and take care of his ship. Ayta lifted herself from her bed, briefly kissed the Captain's cheek, and hurried off to the Medbay to take care of the bodies, sick, and injured.

The intercom goes off:

"
Captain, we have an emergency on Planet 10. One of the largest banks in Neoparis, Terran has been sieged by armed individuals. Who do we dispatch?"

JAENKO VALERE

Jaenko had rested fitfully. But he was beginning to awake now. He had heard snatches of conversation, but none that he could comprehend linearly. The only thing he could put together was at the very end of his fit of unconsciousness, and happened to be the voice of Mingo. As Mingo's voice floated in and out, it became apparent that he was having a conversation with someone of the fire elf persuasion. "Hey there... Yep. It's a shame. Vegetableism is sometimes worse than death, depending on what planet you're from..." Jaenko was sure they weren't talking about him. He wasn't a vegetable. No way in hell could he just lie down and chill. He attempted to get up, but his head was still groggy, and he still couldn't feel his lower body from the morphene he self-administered.

"Well, we've lost a few crew members... Oh no there's defenetely been harder missions... Ayta's off with the captain, left me here with Jaenko. Poor kid's been through hell and back." Jaenko groaned a bit, and yep, there was defenetely some feeling in his legs now. One of his toes twitched and he moved an arm to try and prop himself up. But he was sore. Everything was sore. "He's getting up now though. I waved my hand over his face earlier and he stil-" Mingo cut himself short, holding up a hand to stop Jaenko's head from smacking him in the shoulder. "Yep, he's up."

One would think that a nauvalon missing an arm, coated from torso to abdomen in third to second degree burns, and the use of only one functioning eye would be able to pull off a headbutt mere miliseconds after regaining the ability to sit up. But with Jaenko, the headbutt was second nature. The headbutt was instinct. The headbutt was Jaenko. The headbutt was the way he woke up, how he fought, how he rolled. Headbutts all the way man. "You bet your ass I am," he grumbled, rolling his stump of a shoulderblade and reaching behind him to get his metal arm. Hir real arms ulna bumped the frame of the cot as he reaffixed his arm, cursing under his breath as it still showed signs of deactivation. He'd have to fix it later. Jaenko held his right eyelid up and rolled his eyeballs back into his head untill his cybernetics reset, lighting up the little display his right eye could see, and he was pleasently surprised by an unfamiliar tag. Shutting the display to "off" and turning back to where his blind spot had been recently, Jaenko's face lit up as he was greeted by the sight of an old friend. "Phi!" He half laughed, half shouted, "About time you crashed the party!"

Phi eyed Kobe warily as Mingo added his input regarding his condition. She truly hope he did not remain in this state, but none of the crew members had say in regards to his life. She tugged at a blonde lock of hair and twirled it around her finger thoughtfully. Did he have a girlfriend? She looked at the ceiling as the question crossed her mind. Mingo then proceeded to answering her lack of understanding of Sector 6-10 Squad's situation.

"Well, we've lost a few crew members... Oh no there's definitely been harder missions... Ayta's off with the captain, left me here with Jaenko. Poor kid's been through hell and back."

"Hmm... even though Cap can hide his emotions, I can sense shit has gone down. It is a shame that I wasn't on duty during this mission."

She truly meant what she said. Genuinely, she thought she could have prevented all of this. Maybe not all, but most of the casualties. She looked at Jaenko. He seemed mildly awake. Mingo waved his hand over him as a test and he got butted in turn. She giggled at his reaction.

"PHI! About time you crashed the party!"

"Heh, one heck of a party."

The sound of the intercom clicked catching Phi'gorra's attention. Her hand froze mid-twirling of her hair as she listened to the announcement. Though the message was meant for the Captain, it also was for the whole crew to know they had to be on their toes. Evil doesn't rest even when death comes to play. The Demonic Elf sighed then said with a roll of her eyes.

"Bet you guys $100 that Mingo and I are going for sure."

When the announcement rang through the intercom, Ayta reached up to her left arm cuff and tapped it a couple times, setting her earpiece to respond to the incoming transmission. "We'll deal with it, don't worry. As Jaenko Valere is out of sorts, we will be sending Mingo Rathmin, Phi'gorra Armsworth, and our newest recruit to handle the situation." Ayta had just now noticed the new recruit on the roster, and since she's a combat specialist, it would be in their best interest to have two experienced people go along with the medic. This would be a good opportunity for the newbie to prove her worth to the crew. After tapping her arm cuff a couple more times, Ayta spoke into her earpiece once more, this time reaching the three that would be sent on the mission.

"Mingo, Phi, and...Trinitee, you will go alongside one another and neutralize this threat once we arrive at Terran. The ship will gather supplies while you deal with this threat. Make sure to act like a team and do not leave anyone behind. Is that clear?"

MINGO RATHMIN
Mingo almost didn't supress a smile when Jaenko awoke. He remembered how the first mission they'd ever done together, back on Chordate, had gone pretty badly. Mingo never thought that he'd learn to trust the rowdy, rough and tumble Nauvon with points all over the place and pokey bits where they shouldn't be, both in his words and actions, but that spunk of an engineer had suprised him. The incident in question was when they were sent for repairs on an old datamine, and Mingo had engaged with a rather large razorfish. He thought he'd be devoured before Jaenko tackled it and had it pinned to the ocean floor within a few seconds. Mingo had finished it off with a stab to the eye socket, but he he learned a bit about teamwork that day. It probably hurt Jaenko more to see himself partially working than to be the lone survivor. "Alright tough guy." Mingo said, ruffling his friends hair under his horns, "The captains coming in. You've had your fun, let me have a bit of mine. Rest up."

Of course, Jaenko was not having any of it. He had flipped open a panel on his arm after not hearing the captain summon him to visit the planet he found most interesting, the one made of cobbled bits of machenery and twisted metal that the humans had stuck together after they mistreated earth. But a stern look from Mingo slowed him down and made him think. "Fine," Jaenko grunted, "I'll fix myself up for now. But the next time you go and I don't, I'll stick your nose in a durasteel blender." Mingo could tell by the smirk Jaenko wore that he wasn't serious, but of course, he noted the idle threat to humor himself. With a jerk of his chin to Phi, Mingo slid open the medbay door. "Looks like you were right, Phi. Let's not waste any time." With that, he briefly stopped by the weapons locker to obtain his spear, and made his way to the war room.

Trin gave a pout when she noticed the lack of attention she had from the Captain, his eyes already on something - or someone - else. I wonder what it could be~ Trinitee thought to herself, a smirk alighted on her metallic face. While the white orbs that were her eyes analyzed the piece of machinery held in Captain Andro's smooth, gentle-looking hands, she was given orders to assist a rather attractive man in piloting the large, beautiful ship she was on. She may not be an engineer, but she still had an appreciation for spaceships, as well as hot men. With her smirk still plastered on her gorgeously carved face, she nodded at the Captain, murmured a low, "Yes, sir~," and then proceeded to approach the console beside Adol'fe, leaning against the chair so her breasts were pressed up against her chest, making them quite prominent. She tilted her head to the side a little and gave Adol'fe a genuine smile as she looked him up and down, eyeing his very attractive style of clothing and his general appearance overall.

"Hey there, hot stuff. I'm pretty sure you overheard me before, but my name is Trinitee. Please call me Trinny~" She grinned at the male before gazing out at the stars ahead. "Beautiful, no? It seems we'll be sailing these stars together for a bit~ Until your brother comes back, I'm sure." Trin's gaze flicked back to the man, her smile never leaving her face. Her hair was still tied up with the flower, keeping it out of her face but framing it perfectly as her pale skin brightened up her features.

As much as Adol’fe wanted to turn around and thoroughly examine the feminine body with the sultry voice, he simply stated with an added arch of a brow, “Adol’s the name, Miss Trinny.“ His gaze, sadly, never left the sight before him; it was indeed full of many stars, each light reminding him of fireflies as they flew onward. “Heh, Azel likes to take his time,” in his mind he added, but if he heard you were here, he would have definitely walked a little faster.

He tapped on the seat next to him, “Relax, enjoy the view.” Adol’fe, also, wanted to get a good sight of her as well. He was more discreet unlike his brother, in addition to prioritizing his responsibility over checking out some girl’s ass.

With a pout, Trin hopped over the back of the chair and landed in her seat for the time being without a sound. The only sound that could be heard was her breathing and the light sound of her body moving, just as machinery would normally make noise. While her mechanics were more refined, they still made small noises when she moved, giving the 70s obsessed android another quirky attribute. Glancing back at Adol, she smiled once more, now that she was certainly in his peripheral vision, if not soon to be his focused line of sight. They were moving at a relaxing speed for the moment, but that could very well change within a moment's notice, so she understood and respected his ability to keep his attention on the stars ahead.

Nonetheless, she wanted someone's attention, as she had yet to be fully acknowledged without so much as a glance from neither the captain nor the pilot beside her. Leaning against the console without pressing anything hazardous, Trin helped with the piloting (even though Adol had that pretty much under wraps) and questioned the demonic elf. "So...what made your sexy ass get on this gorgeous hunk of metal?" Trin smirked, eyeing red-haired male once more with desire.

The Todunde brother was certainly pleased with the new added feature in his peripheral view. She was certainly a provacative Android: slim, curvacious with cute whirrs and clicks as she moved. He found this unique Android alluring, but he was certain she was like the Captain; they have programmed emotions which is a nice touch, but would make any living being think twice about them. He glanced fairly quickly at her with a sly smile as she referred to him as a 'sexy ass'. "Heh," he laughed, then he adjusted the steering slightly as he spotted some small obtacles ahead, "I really... just like being with my brother and we just happen to like the same things, so..." he gets smacked behind the head, "You talking smack about me?" Azel'fe has officially arrived. He growled flirtatiously with the bot sitting next to his brother. "Name's Azel and you can be my co-pilot anyday," he gave her a wink.

Adol'fe simply chuckled to himself as he foresaw how this introduction would play out. His brother returned in a slim black suit, the undergarments of the spacesuit, while Adol was dress in uniform, as a pilot should be, with a few accessories, such as a scarf and a few gadgets on his sleeve.

Trin raised a brow when Adol explained why he enjoyed working the ship, enjoying the look he gave her when she sat beside him. Another male, almost exactly identical to the one seated right next to her, showed up all of a sudden, smacking the back of Adol's head before growling playfully towards Trinitee. "Azel, huh?~ Adol told me he had a brother, but failed to mention you two were twins~ Not that I'm not into that." Trin winked at the standing twin with a lopsided grin. "And be careful of what you wish for, sweetheart," Trin blew a kiss to Azel before continuing, "You just might get what you wish for. However, I'm currently co-piloting for this hunk right here.~" Trin placed a hand on Adol's thigh, smirking up at his twin brother. The two of them were equally attractive, but she enjoyed the authenticity of Adol she had witnessed albeit in such a short period of time. I guess it all depends on which one will give me what I want.~ And only I know what that is.

The black-suited twin arched his brow in a similar manner as his brother earlier as she placed a hand on his thigh. He quickly patted on his opposite shoulder from Trinitee and said:

"Alright, let's swap."

"Heh, like hell we are."

"Look, you owe me..." he began to whisper.

"I'm not sacrificing the well being of this ship so you can oogle Miss Trinny," Adol'fe didn't bother to whisper like Azel'fe.

He cleared his throat before speaking, "Adol'fe's right, I won't be able to take my eyes off of you," he leaned against his brothers chair, purposely pushing him forward in an awkward position; he wore an annoyed expression. "How about I give you a tour of this ship? Don't worry about Adol'fe. I'm sure you can tell already; he can handle the ship all by himself," he extended a hand towards her.

Trinitee eyed the two twins with a soft chuckle, shaking her head as she grinned. Boy, these two. I could have fun with them. Plus, I'm not exactly the rule-abiding type... Trin laughed a little louder than before, squeezing Adol's thigh gently before reaching a hand out to grab Azel's. "Sounds about right to me, if you don't mind." A little bit of her Southern accent came out when she said this, smiling at both boys. "I'll soar the stars with you later tonight, Adol~" Trinitee said with a wink before pulling on Azel's hand, letting him help her up and pressing her against him. He was warm to the touch, and much taller than her, which she had no problem with. She smirked up at the male before pulling back, tugging on his hand a bit. "Let's go, then~"

Adol'fe adjusted his seat and sat upright again. He predicted this outcome, so he continued his duty while these two lovebirds wrecked havoc somewhere. Azel led Trin to the back room first, the light flickered on upon their arrival, "This is the War Room. We meet here usually right before big missions." He sat on the edge of the table with his legs a decent distance apart, "Us, Todunde brothers, don't get assigned to big missions because we're the best pilots here, but we do side missions, like gathering resources and shit." He gave her a shrug then added, "Did you.. install an accent to your voice box?" he asked almost surprised to hear an Android with a southern twang.

Trinitee nodded in acknowledgement as Azel led her to the War Room, which she would undoubtedly be sent to at some point on this ship. She watched him as he leaned against the table, looking him up and down with her smirk as she continued listening to his words. "Only side missions? All this brawn wasted on piloting~ Not that there's anything wrong with being a pilot, of course, since I'm one as well." Trin stuck her tongue out playfully, before seriously regarding his most recent question. Azel gave the sexy Android a cocky grin and thought the moment her tongue stuck out... Don't stick it out unless you're going to use it. He bit his bottom lip as he continued watching her speak.

"It rubbed off on me since I was raised by engineers with a Southern accent. I'm an incredibly new form of android, much more human than my predecessors in many ways." With the last phrase, Trin glanced down briefly and grinned before looking back up at Azel's face. With a shake of her head, Trin's bright eyes landed on Azel's and she asked, "Where to next, handsome?~"

"I would like to say my cabin cause my clothes seem unfit for walking around with a hot droid, but that's on the first floor. "

"Mm, sounds a bit far~" Trin approaches Azel slowly, step by step.

"If you want, I can take a quick trip..." he trailed his finger down her neck down to the center of her chest, "...downstairs and give you a good twirl."

~Fade to Black~

An alarm rang through the intercom for a brief moment as a voice rang through, announcing the arrival of a new mission as a bank on Planet 10 was in the process of being robbed. Ayta's voice rang through her earpiece, summoning her and two others to the War Room she and Azel had been fooling around in. Trin's hair was tousled and her flower had fallen out ages ago, but nonetheless she moved away from Azel and fixed her outfit, preparing for the arrival of her new teammates as she smacked Azel's stomach.

"Hurry up and fix yourself, a Mingo and a Phi'gorra are on their way here, I don't know them but they know you so hurry it up!" Trin grinned at the tall male, pulling him down for a brief kiss on the lips before picking up her flower and redoing her white-blonde hair into its 70s hairstyle.

Azel'fe didn't hear anything because he was almost never selected for big missions, so it didn't surprise him. "Ha, you best be glad it isn't Jaenko and Phi, they'd troll us 'til our ears fall off," his slipped into his spacesuit fairly easily. He's been trying to get into Phi'gorra's pants for decades, but she seems to have the hots for girls or maybe just Jaenko. He'd have to see if Trinny's flirts would help him learn of Phi's sexual orientation. He's had almost every girl on this ship, except the fishy ones.

"Mm. I'll take your word for it, sexy. They sound interesting, especially their relationship." Trin shot the demonic elf a lopsided grin as she fixed her hair deftly with her nimble fingers. Her bright, white eyes darted from Azel to the door of the War Room, anticipating the arrival of her new crewmates.
