Fantasy Second Chance Academy (Open & Accepting)

Galaxy Bear

The best of both worlds
Your life has never been great, you want to do something new, you want another chance. You wish you could start your life over and when you think all hope is lost. But you find a key. This is a key you have never seen before but with it a note is attached: "You have a chance to have all of your dreams come true. Put this key into any lock and step into a world you have never seen before." As you put the key into any door, it opens up and your into a magical world you have never seen before in a beautiful forest. Somehow, you find your way to a castle on top of a hill. A man greets you at the door, "Welcome to the Academy of Second Chances," he says, his voice smooth and soft."Before you, is a world where your biggest dream can come true. But first you need to be taught how the world works and how to live in it, as it is much different from your's. It won't be long, only about six months, but it will require a lot of training. If you pass, your biggest dream will come true and you will have a new life. If you don't pass, you will be sent back to Earth. Do you accept the challenge?"

  • Your character does not know about magic/controls magic until they pass the academy
  • Your character must be based off a character that is from a fairytale, myth, or legend
  • This roleplay will be played in two parts: one part is the academy, the other is going to be more plot based. The second part will be basically your character's biggest dream comes true (but at what price)?
  • You can start out this roleplay in three ways: your character must find the key in the first post or two, they are arriving at the academy doors, or your character has already arrived at the academy (no longer than 24 hours)
  • I expect at least a paragraph (5-7 sentences) with a post within 1-3 day

There was a loud clank as the door closes behind her but she doesn't look over until she hears a distinct clinking sound hit the ground as well. Jacintha sits up from her bed and looks over to the cold stone floor but sees nothing. This was so strange, it sounded like a key. Was a guard so dumb to forget their key in here? Of course she couldn't just escape prison with a key, but it would help her plan something. In the back of her head she could hear her mom saying, "you only have a few more months, stick it out," but Jacintha couldn't help but let a key tempt her way out. She hasn't heard from her mom in years, not until she landed in prison almost a year ago. It was a shock but she was happy to see her mom, after all these years, her mom was finally going to be there for her, it was a shame it took her behind bars doing so. But prison wasn't easy and she had to work hard to get her sentence off. She was stuck here for a year and a half instead of two years.

Jacintha gets off the bed, the guard dropped off a lunch, she picks up the tray, the food was slop but for some reason she was hoping there was a key underneath the tray. Sighing, she sets the tray back down. She was sure she heard a noise. When she looks back to her bed, her eyes go wide as she sees something shiny. Jacintha looks up to her jailmate, not even noticing her walking around, nor did she get her food either. Jacintha looks back under the bed and picks up a key. She couldn't believe her luck, but what was this? A piece of paper attached to it. The paper read: "You have a chance to have all of your dreams come true. Put this key into any lock and step into a world you have never seen before." It even had her name on it. What the hell? Jacintha looks up and catches the eye of her jailmate. Her eyes went wide and she jumped down the bed. "What is that?" Jacintha rolls her eyes and knew she had to act fast. Not caring for anything else, she places the key to the door. "Hey, what are you doing?" Her jailmate shouts and tries to grab a hold of her. But it was too late, Jacintha disappeared right before her eyes and so did the key.

Dellra woke up too tired to be ready for the day. Her eyes hurt and her hair was a mess. She was up late in tears. She went to a bar with someone she knew who wanted to try and help her find a date. Not really knowing her situation of Pre-OP Transition, Dellra was too awkward to say no even though she knew it wouldn't work out. She ended up going and wasn't at all having a fun time but was drinking more than she should have and was now very drunk. Eventually, a man came up to her and asked her to dance and Dellra didn't really think much about it. She danced with him and soon they were in her bedroom making out. She was really enjoying herself for once but soon without her realizing her clothes were off. But instead of what should happen after the clothes come off something else happened. The man looked at her and looked down and noticed she was more so he when it came to biological body parts. He began to laugh at her and soon after walked out still laugh calling her a shemale. She cried after that. When she woke up though there was something different. There was a key on her nightstand with a note that read. "You have a chance to have all of your dreams come true. Put this key into any lock and step into a world you have never seen before." She stuck it into her bedroom door not really thinking of why it fits so perfectly. And soon was not in her room anymore.

Clair O'Reilly

Clair must have been on campus for at least seven hours at this stage, there was no way it could have been any less. You see Clair had seen almost everything already: the bar, the sunroom, the gardens, the kitchen, she had seen it all and it was all mind blowing to her. She had gone from the ghettos of Dublin to a luxurious and modernised castle all with the simple turn of a key. It was too good to be true, far too good to be true. There was most definitely a devil in the detail.

None the less Clair decided it best to just ignore said devil and focus on the positive. And her room was quite the positive indeed! For the first time in her life, Clair had a wardrobe. The thing commonly used to store clothing, excess clothing. Clothing one could change into when their current outfit was dirty! Oh yes, It truly was a good day for Cair. And it only got better when she took a look within the said wardrobe. It was already filled to the brim with the vibrant and elegant clothing she had always seen around the city centre. Were they hers? The wardrobe next to hers was filled with male apparel so surely they had to be hers.....

Yeh, you know what, even had they not of been, she still would have tried them on. There is no denying that.

And so after Clair had tried on every outfit she had assumed was hers, she neatly returned them back into their original positions and proceeded to check out the bathroom. Which again blew her away. And well to cut a long and boring story short Clair proceeded to have a shower, change into one of 'her' new outfits and well eventually she fell asleep atop her bed.

Ravus Senade
Academy: Gateway

His pupils dilated, adapting themselves to the sudden burst of light in their environment. Ravus blinked his eyes furiously. He wasn't standing in the archive as he expected. Instead, he faced a clear green hill, without another soul in sight. Gone the hint of winter coldness that urged him to put on a wool jacket on his way to the library. The summer temperature instead forced him to took off his sweater vest.

After he had enough of the scenery, he turned his back, intending to return to the library. Only, the door wasn't there. In its place, a huge pair of pale white doors on marble walls, decorated with carvings that were at least 500 years old in his estimation. His mind jumped back to the moment he found the queer key, and the note he found with it. Maybe it wasn't a prank after all.

Ravus took a deep breath, and he swung open the door, to what he hoped would be his second chance in life.

Matthias Jameson Wilkes
Another typical day for Matthias. He knew what he was doing today, getting some food for those homeless folks on 7th. He had his cap on so it would be harder to see his face. As Matt walked he was reading a news article on his phone. It was about the things this "Robin Hood of New York" was doing. He knew it was of him, but the title was quite interesting. He put his phone into sleep mode and put it back in his pocket before pulling a key with a small note attached out of his pocket. One of the people he helped gave it to him. The note read "You have a chance to have all of your dreams come true. Put this key into any lock and step into a world you have never seen before." The man said he didn't believe in fairy-tales and gave it to him. He merely chuckled and shoved it back into his pocket before entering the store.

About 5 minutes later, he comes out sprinting with a backpack full of food. There was someone in pursuit as he ran into an alleyway. He knew how to get away too well at this point. He even had scoped out abandoned buildings he could hide in to escape those chasing him, and that's what he did. Jumping onto a fire escape, Matt climbed it quickly before entering an abandoned apartment complex. Surely the employee would be calling the cops, so he needed to move fast. As he moved through the building waiting for sirens, he thought he'd go through some of the rooms. In his usual joking manner, he pulled out the key and shut one of the doors before sticking the key in it. Twisting the key, he said "Honey, I-" as he was stepping through, what he didn't expect was what he saw. "...home?" he finished with a confused tone. In his view was not a run down room, it was a giant castle in the distance. Matt made his way to the castle as anyone would. All he could think was "Where the hell am I?"

'' you either apologize or your fired!'' shouted Mira's manager and pointed to the door '' well i quit!! '' Mira shouted back, took her belongings, and went home.
the restaurant's drunk came back again, he always tried hitting on Mira and her friends a lot, and because he gave a lot of money, the restaurant's stupid manager always welcomed him with a big nasty smile. today it was Mira's turn to wait on his table and he was past flirting this time.. he literally tried to hit her for refusing to come back home with him, what did Mira do, you ask.. well she almost broke his hand...
Mira arrived home, closed the door furiously, dropped her key and bag,and sat on the kitchen table, soon the rage in her eyes turned to tears and she started to cry.
remembering the key from last week, she stood up, changed to a black top, flannel shirt and jeans. aand then searched for the key in one of her nightstands drawers. '' found it '' she said picking up the key and the note, she sat on the floor next to her bed, and read the note again.
"You have a chance to have all of your dreams come true. Put this key into any lock and step into a world you have never seen before." she needed to go to another world, she couldn't take it anymore, first she dropped from college, then lost her first job, this morning the house's owner came for the rent, and now this! she just couldn't understand what she did wrong.
bravely she stood up went to her bedroom's door, and closing her eyes she put the key in the lock hoping it'll work. opening her eyes again she saw a wonderfully green forest, '' new life.. here i come'' she said not even looking back to see if the door was still there or not.

"Do you accept the challenge?"

At first, Leena hadn't known what to say. Things had taken a turn at weird earlier in the day when, upon coming home from work, she found a key outside of her door. The key had a note attached that read "You have a chance to have all of your dreams come true. Put this key into any lock and step into a world you have never seen before." When she had gone inside, she'd tossed the key aside, but it had been on the back of her mind ever since. It wasn't until the neighbors started screaming at each other that she'd ventured back to the key, able to hear their voices through the paper thin walls of her apartment. "I wish..." She muttered to herself.

More out of curiosity than anything, she'd inserted the key into her bedroom door that for some reason had a lock on it. When she'd opened the door, here she was, in a forest with a castle nearby on a hill. She'd climbed the hill and been greeted by this person, and now here she was. Realizing he was waiting for an answer, she quickly nodded. "I accept."

She was led to her room, which was empty save for two wardrobes and two beds and some other basic furniture. But it was all grand, and she had to pinch herself to ensure she wasn't dreaming. She was left alone, and although now some time had passed, she was just now leaving the room to venture the castle.

Amelia's life had been almost bearable lately. The mansion she worked in was much smaller than average, her room was the best she'd ever had, and she had enough money saved to rent a 3-star apartment for a week. The other servants had even given up on interaction with her. She was indifferent about life, having finally numbed her heart. Amelia was given a small box of old keys and told to match them to whatever object they went to. After the tedious project was complete, with all the trunks and journals matched, there was one key left. It had a note attached to it that read "You have a chance to have all of your dreams come true. Put this key into any lock and step into a world you have never seen before." "Weird," she thought. "Maybe it's a skeleton key." To test the theory, she tried it on the nearest trunk.
The next thing she knew, Amelia was facing outdoors. Because nature was not something that could be taken away, she let herself enjoy the scenery slightly, before turning back and... That was definitely not her home. Having long ago lost almost all feeling to logic, she assessed the situation. She had been transported to this specific place, at this specific time, and for a specific unknown reason. Amelia opened the doors and strode in.

Harper Loli

640full-liza-adamenko.jpg
Harper sat in her room, alone. Her eyes were red and puffy from crying too much. She hugged her knees to her chest and sobbed quietly, as the familiar voices went quiet downstairs. The silence was deafening. She hated them right now, with every ounce of her being. How could they treat her like that? Treat her like a freak, while every other person they met, they treated normally. She just wanted to be treated normal, like every other human being. Suddenly she heard a loud clanking on the outside of her bedroom door. "Go away!" She yelled. Then whatever was dropped on the floor outside her room, was kicked violently under the door and into her bedroom. She shot up from her bed to the door then swung it open, angrily. No one was there. With confusion, she shut the door behind her as she continued to stay in her room. She glanced at the strange object on the floor. A key. She picked it up and saw a note attached to it. She sat on her bed and read the note to herself out loud.
"You have a chance to have all of your dreams come true. Put this key into any lock and step into a world you have never seen before."
She hesitated and sat on her mattress in long though. Vices ran throughout her head, different voices, all saying different things. "Do it, no one wants you here, pathetic, go away, it's best for you this way." She stood up from her seat and walked over to her closet door. The key in her shaking hands, she slowly put it in the lock, then turned it. It fit and a click was heard from the door. She took the handle and pulled the door open. A bright light blinded her for a moment and once again, she hesitated. She looked back at her room, a place she knew her entire life. A place of solitude. She sighed and turned back to the door. She walked through the blinding light, not knowing what to expect.

A new world, fields of green, a large castle. Everything that seemed almost... Fairytale. She approached it with caution, but she didn't feel hesitant anymore. She felt at peace. She could feel that everything here was, good. She gave a small smile to herself then entered the castle, exploring the few rooms. After giving herself a personal tour of the place, she decided to let herself rest on one of the couches in the livingroom.

He watches the colorful bird that was on his hand and gently places it back in her cage. "My lovely Fiona, I think it's time," the bird squawked and rubbed her neck against his hand before he closes the door on the cage and locking it. He loved most animals and couldn't but admire the beautiful creatures of this world. No matter how long he has been here, he could never tire of the colorful ones. Mr. Baron picks a piece of candy from his candy bowl, it was simple and chewy. He had briefly met a few students and directed them to their rooms. But the majority of the students were arriving now. Mr. Baron goes over to his desk and presses a button. "Welcome friends," he lets his voice travel, knowing it would reach all around the Academy and the grounds. He lets his voice soak, making it sound silky and warm. "Will everyone head to the main entrance, including teachers?" He lets go of the button, grabs his cane, puts his hat on top of his head, and walks towards the main entrance.

Blare laid in park, staring at sky, wondering where her life went wrong, and remembering the horrors of her past. She gazes as the twilight brushes over her. Now, homeless, cold, and hungry. She stands, up and pulls out her wallet from the back pocket of her jeans, only to be met with the last 5 pounds to her name. Rumors started around that she's turned to a life of drugs and prostitution, but that was far from the case. As she's about to put it back in her wallet, a strong breeze indicating a storm brushes by and nabs the bill from her hand. Too unmotivated to grab it, she sneaks into an ally way near a warm restaurant, and settles down there for the night. Lonely, huddled, and tired, she then slowly falls into a deep sleep, beside the restaurant. Shielding herself from the rain by hiding underneath a dumpster lid She is then awoken by a strange man, in a trench coat, his face cloaked by the darkness. Blare stands up alarmed. "Reveal yourself!" She says intimidatingly. The man stays quiet, and smiles mysteriously. He hands her a key with a note attached, and walks away. Blare goes to chase him, but when she gets to the outside, he has vanished. Confused, she looks at the now soaked note. "You have a chance to have all of your dreams come true. Put this key into any lock and step into a world you have never seen before." She laughed at the note, figuring it was some sick joke. She went back to huddling under the dumpster lid, and kept eyeing the key in her hand. "Well, even if this is a sick joke, what could possible go even more worse than it already is?" She thought. She then stood and walked towards the back exit of the restaurant and finds an odd hat. A hat of that of a witch. Even more bewildered to what's going on, she inserts the medieval looking key into the modern lock. Her eyes widen as she carefully turned the key, and pushed the door open.

Her bewilderment continues and she walks into a forested area. The warm sun shines on Blare's face, and she still has the hat in hand. She puts on the hat, if only to not lose it. Blare wonders around the forest, scared of what's going on. She looks back to where she entered, only for her gate way to be gone completely. "W-what the hell is going on? What kind of sick person drugged me?" Blare looks quickly around and sees a tall castle. "There, I will find answers" she thought. Blare then decided to make her way to the castle for answers. On her way, she walks across a bridge, there a sprite flies in front of her face. Startled, Blare backs up on the small bridge and ends up falling off the side, and landing in the shallow river.

Mira arrived to the castle just in time to hear a loud voices asking for everyone to gather around near the main entrance, she went there. and waited while everyone gathered around, she was impressed by the castells view, and couldn't wait to get inside ' better then my apartment anyway' she thought glad she didn't lose the key when she thought of it as a joke.
while Mira was waiting she couldn't help but think ' why me? what is so special about me', i mean yes, she did the best she could and still wasn't able to keep two jobs, her school, and apartment,so why be interested in her? then she started thinking that maybe she tried to hard, didn't leave time for herself ' this time, it'll be different' she thought.

As Harper was just getting comfortable, a loud voice echoed throughout the halls. It made her jump. She didn't expect a place like this to have an intercom system. After hearing the man's voice saying to meet up at the main entrance, she sighed and stood up from her comfy spot and left the living room. With her hands in her pockets and made her way over to the main hall. There was already a few people there but she didn't want to interact with them. Instead, she stood behind them, far enough away that she could see and hear everything, but not been seen or approachable. She really did not want to meet anyone.

Clair O'Reilly

Clair stirred slowly to a wake and upon doing so she quite literally leapt up from her bed, face covered in a mixed expression of both shock and confusion. It wasn't until minutes after that she came to recall the events that had previously transpired. "That's right.... the key. This is my new room, my new bed and that creepy is voice echoing around the show is that pale old fellow that I met at the gate....". Having summed everything up Clair's facial expression quickly dropped to that of relief and she immediately fell back upon her bed face first with quite a loud sigh. "I just got comfy! Come on!"

After yet another few minutes Clair reluctantly composed herself and left the room, slamming the door behind her with quite some force. After walking for quite some time Clair eventually stumbled upon a familiar face, the principal himself. The very man that both welcomed her to the school previously and beckoned her to the main gate. Upon seeing the man Clair's face immediately began to draw a smirk. And in time she was walking side by side with the man. In fact, it happened quite quickly, one minute she was trailing a few feet behind him and the next she was wearing his top hat and inspecting his cane as they walked "Hmm, is that mahogany? You know mahogany is a very poor choice for a cane..... You'd be best off using strong Irish oak. Oh and by the way I'm digging the cape and hat, as the kids would say 'shits lit fam'. Any chance I could borrow them when you're not using? Say why'd you call everyone anyway? Are you planning on reviling the reason as to why we're here? Oh cool! Come on let me in on the secret ahead of time. We're like best mates right? I won't tell promise". Perhaps Clair may have been a bit too excited for the principal but hey, that was her, take it or leave it.

As he was walking towards the main entrance, the clicking and tapping of his dress shoes could be heard in the hallways. As well as his cane hitting the ground repeatedly could be heard. He walked with pride and confidence. This was not his first class nor would it be his last class. Every year, he tried to change it up, even add small details to the Academy. At the end of the 'school year' he would ask the students and teachers of what he could improve upon and took their feedback seriously. There had been so many students, but it was only six months long and six months off. He only reached out to a small groups of students at a time. He believed in a small teacher to student ratio to get the best out of the education. If he was lucky, Mr. Baron would pick a teacher out of the group of students. But he isn't expecting to get a student considering his newest teacher, Mr. Sandford, hasn't been recruited for very long. The new thing he has added is the class of Forbidden Magics, and he was the one teaching it too.

As he was walking along with his thoughts, a student came up to him. He turned his head and gave her a smile. She was one of the very few that were early to his Academy. Clair O'Reilly was her name and he knew everything about her past, including how she got her key. But he knew the past of all the students and even teachers her, after all, he only picked his students he thought deserved it. Mr. Baron wanted them all to succeed but they had to have potential first. After letting Clair inspect his cane, he switches it to his other hand, away from her. "I advise you to never judge something by its look," he says with a wink about her comment about his choice of cane. He then takes the top hat off her hand and vigorously shakes it. The hat started to get bigger until it made what seemed like a carbon copy of the hat before placing it on her head. "The goal is to greet everyone as to why they are here. But, what is life without mystery and patience?" Though he answered her question and admired her enthusiasm, he would not say anything else of the sort. By that point, they had reached the main entrance of the school. He outstretches his hand, indicating that she should stand in front of him with the other students that was gathered about.

She was completely blown away when she turned the key into her jail cell. She looks around and was awestruck. The forest was breathtaking and she was completely away from everywhere and everyone. She turns around, thinking this was just her imagination, but behind her was also more beautiful scenery. Where am I? Is this my second chance? She thought to herself and begins to walk around. As she gets deeper into the forest, it opens up to a field. In the middle of the field was a huge building. She looks around once more, expecting people to be after her, considering she technically just broke out of jail. Jacintha takes deep breaths, trying to calm herself down. She couldn't go anywhere but forward and starts to walk up to the castle.

As she gets closer, she spies some other people heading up. Jacintha freezes, but they don't notice her. Oh god, please no one see me, she begins to panic in her head. She looks down, she was wearing a jumpsuit, and had no idea how everyone would think of her. She steps inside and hears the announcement. She stays at the entrance and hides against the wall, it only took a few moments before a man in a suit stood in the middle with a young female. Jacintha was frozen, hoping that no one would actually see her. She had no idea how to explain the outfit if anyone asked. She simply waits for more instructions.

He was drinking black coffee, one of the few favorite commodities that he admired and had an acquired taste for from his previous life that he couldn't give up. There were not that many things he had missed about Earth and refused to ever go back. Though he was not fond of Mr. Baron or anyone else, really, he at least enjoyed this life better than the last one and appreciated what Mr. Baron had done for him. He was happier than he ever was. Well, as happy as he could be for a man that simply didn't enjoy life that much. Kohana could express who he really was in this world and his culture that very few people remembered.

He was looking forward for classes to start, as he did every year. It was when he was the most happy. He was able to teach others what he was really passionate about: nature. It was something he was always fond of but in this world, it came with a few twists, all that he didn't mind. Finally, he heard Mr. Baron's voice through the intercom system. He finishes his coffee and puts the rest down the drain. No one else was in the teacher's lounge, at least from what he could see. He doubt he had missed anyone coming in here though. Kohana assumed the others would hear Mr. Baron's announcement and without further due, he heads to the main entrance. There were a handful of students here and he stands with his hands behind his back near Mr. Baron. He waited for him to talk some more.

Clair's face lit up with pure glee as she watched the principal clone his hat right before her eyes and she couldn't have been made any happier when said copy was gifted to her. Now she had a dope hat to go along with her fancy clothing. This second chance at life sure was amazing. Now all she had to do was not mess it up, and well that was more than commonly easier said than done when it came to Clair. Heck if left alone for long enough Clair could quite possibly drown a fish. Which of course is impossible but you get the point.

Anyway! with her new hat placed fashionably upon her head and with her question answered Clair gave the principle a warm smile and wave goodbye before joining the rest of the students assembled "Thanks, Mr B. Let's have some tea later okay!". Of course, with Clair being Clair, she left the poor man without any time to decline. She simply carried on her way with her dapper new hat.

Dellra woke up from what seemed like a very long nap. She gets up and looks around noticing that she is not anywhere near her apartment, or her city, or probably her country. "What the fuck is going on here." She mumbles to herself. She looks around and sees a castle. and has a sudden urge to walk to it. As she walks towards it a loud voice is heard telling everyone to meet at the front entrance of the castle. Dellra walks to it and sees people there already one of the was in a prison jumpsuit. "What the hell." She is absolutely confused.

Doran was woken up by Mr. Baron's voice sounding over the castle he looks to see if Arielle was still asleep but hears her singing in the shower. he gets up puts on some deodorant and puts some ragging clothes on. Arielle walks out of the shower and notices how terrible Doran looks. "You are not wearing that trash, Sandy." Doran makes a face at her. "Who gives a damn what I wear." Arielle rolls her eyes and goes to Doran's closet and pulls out an outfit. "You're wearing this." Doran sighs and changes. The both finish getting ready and head to the main entrance.

It didn't take long before Matt heard a man's voice call for everyone to go to the entrance. He was already on his way there. He saw more people approaching the entrance. Something else he saw was a woman in a prison jumpsuit. That bright orange made her hard to miss. At least he wasn't the only criminal here. He was coming up to a bridge where another woman stood. She too seemed a little baffled by what was happening. Then something had flown right in front of her face. Clearly surprised, she jumped backwards, only to be met by the railing of the bridge. She had fallen off and landed in the water. Matt adjusted his cap so it didn't hide so much of his face. He then dashed over to the water and walked to where she lay. Thankfully, the water was shallow enough to the point where the water was flooding into the top of his boots. They were waterproofed, so that was another plus. He reached down and pick her up onto her feet. "You alright miss?" he asked. There wasn't too much concern in his voice, but there was enough to tell he cared.

Amelia had taken to cautiously scoping out her new environment. She found the place to be much more elegant than her employer's home, yet not reflective of a haughty attitude. As she was walking past what seemed to be dormitories, she observed that each name-plate was written differently, some were even in different languages. Suddenly she stopped, emotionless, and stepped back to inspect a familiar scribble. One of her brows rose, and the other soon followed as she whispered "Impossible." There was her name, in her last sister's hand, in a calligraphy that no one but the two knew. Knowing it was her room, she entered. Amelia felt an emotion that she had not dared feel since before she found her sister, hope. She hoped that whoever had acquired her dead sister's handwriting had also acquired something, anything, else. To her shock, the room was filled with many nostalgic mementoes, most of which were practical. Immediately, she chose to put on her late sister's death outfit.

That's when everyone was directed, via intercom, back to the entrance. Upon arriving, she fluidly and silently made her way to a corner that was close enough to be considered part of the group, but too far away to warrant interaction. She waited. Soon, a bubbly red-head entered wearing a top-hat that matched the man's beside her. She wondered what to do when the red-head finally decided to approach her. knowing that she should be polite, Amelia decided that she would listen and tolerate everyone at first meeting. The space beteen her and the group was filling up too fast for her liking, so she pulled further away, almost bumping into someone. "Please excuse me" she said. It was then that she noticed the woman's attire, a prison outfit.

As the students were filing in, he gets a feel for the room. Most of them were not interacting with each other and tried to stay away. Some were more nervous than others. Mr. Baron expected this out of the students, they were in a new place with complete strangers. But they all had a past, they all had reasons for being here. Whether they knew it or not, they chose this lifestyle by putting the key into a lock. Even if it was simple curiosity, they still agreed to come here. Now it was up to them. If they succeeded in learning how to live in this world, they would stay, if not they would go. After all, this was a second chance, it was not a guarantee. Mr. Baron turns around, seeing that Mr. Cochise was the first teacher to arrive. Good, he would wait a few more moments before starting his greeting.

One girl did stick out however, the girl in the jumpsuit. He could tell that she was quite nervous and was trying to hide. Mr. Baron walks over to her, a smile on his face, and his cane clacking on the ground. "If you hurry, you can change," he speaks quietly as so not to draw more attention to the girl. He leans in some and whispers to her the directions to her room. Mr. Baron winks before taking a few steps back to stand in the middle of the room once more.

She was desperately trying to make sure she wasn't seen but she could feel eyes around her. She brushes her hair, trying to pull it in front of her face. When someone almost bumps into her, she was mortified. There was no way this girl wouldn't notice her prison jump suit. "It's no p-problem," Jacintha stutters and moves out of the way, hoping that she wouldn't say anything else to her. She was looking around frantically, waiting for this meeting to start. To her horror, who she assumed to be in charge, came straight for her. Please don't come to me, she thinks to herself. But he kept coming closer to her. He spoke quietly to her and her eyes widen. She nods her head vigorously but he was already walking away.

I can do this. She took a deep breath and slowly inches away from the group. When she was out of the way from everyone, she begins walking at a brisk pace to her room. She remembers the directions that the man gave her and finds her room. The room was decorated nicely and she could almost cry, it was so much nicer than what she was used to. But to her horror, she notices the two beds, desks, and wardrobes. It looked like she had a roommate. With a gulp, she opens up one wardrobe. The clothes didn't seem to be her style or size so she goes to the next one. It was filled with clothes, all to her liking.

"You alright miss?" he asked. There wasn't too much concern in his voice, but there was enough to tell he cared.

Blare gave the man an embarrassed and surprised look, before going back to her hard ass state. "Yeah, I'm fine." She says in a pissed off tone. Blare stands up, from the shallow river. Her pants and the bottom of her tank top are soaked. She wrings out some of the water out of her top and glares at the man. "You don't look like you're around here? You have any idea where the hell we are? It looks like something from Lord of the Rings." Blare thinks to her self "If this bridge is real, maybe this isn't some acid trip. Could I have been teleported somewhere?"

When she stands up, she sees an orange blob in the distance. What looks to be a prison uniform. "Nope, I'm definitely high and I'm in prison" She thought to her self. Blare then lets out a nervous laugh to try and play it cool. "I-I'm assuming you are my warden? I-I think we have a mistake here officer. I was drugged, I swear I don't have any drugs on me. Here I'll show you." Blare then empties her pockets. She pulls out: A now ruined, pack of cigarettes, and her wallet, then pulls out her pockets to show that she does not have anything else. "See, no drugs" She lets out another nervous laugh "I think I'll be seeing my way to the hospital now" She then gets up and starts walking away backwards, getting ready to make a break for it. There she bumps into something.

Ravus Senade
Academy: Main Entrance

As much as he hated to admit it, the crackling sound, followed by the announcement, startled him. His already tense shoulder stiffened, and immediately relax after the announcement was over. No one could blame him, really. It was a completely foreign place for him to be. Assuming himself to be one of the people mentioned (teachers?), Ravus made his way to the main entrance with nervous but resolute steps. A promised second chance... it was like something straight out of fairy tale. Unrealistic. The world wasn't as forgiving as the realm of story. But who was he to complain? He had observed something equally impossible a few minutes before.

The room was already filled with numerous people when he made his entrance, the majority of them displayed a similar expression of confusion and bewilderment to his... if he didn't hide it. Yet among the group, two people attracted his attention specifically; An old man in an old-fashioned top hat (which he approved himself) and a woman who he surmised to be in her early twenties. The man was unusually calm and the woman was unusually cheerful. Were they familiar with this situation? He raised an eyebrow when the man somehow dropped a second top hat from his top hat onto the head of the woman. Was it a trick?

When the woman walked away from the man with an attitude that signed the end of the conversation, Ravus decided to take his chance before anyone else could. He strode toward the woman and called her before she can turn away. "Excuse me, but can you help me for a moment? " He unconsciously folded the collar of his coat as he talked, a nervous habit.

"You seem to be.. calmer than the rest of us. Do you have any idea what is going on here? "

Clair O'Reilly

Once Clair had finished with the principal a rather bewildered and confused man called out to her. It seemed as though he, much like everyone around her, was at a loss for words as to their summons. 'Where am I?' a common thought Clair was now hearing from a multitude of sources around herself. Had no one read the note? Who in their right mind turns a creepy ass key without fully reading the note associated with it? Well, apparently quite a number of people.

With a soft smile now replacing that of glee Clair approached the man who had addressed her. Once she was stood next to him she began to play with the hat she had been given. Almost perfectly mimicking the movements the principal had made in the hopes she too would be able to pull off his magic trick. After trying numerous times she let out a sigh and returned the hat to her head before turning and addressing the man's question. " Nope, sorry I haven't got a clue". With that said Clair let out a laugh and pointed up towards the principal "Surprised huh? Well, It's the truth. I know we're here for a second chance at life but beyond that, all I know is that that old guy is the boss around here. So sorry to disappoint you but I haven't got the answer you were hoping for. The name's Clair by the way and yours?" With everything said and done Clair shot the principal a harmless wink before offering her hand for the man to shake.

Ravus Senade
Academy: Main Entrance
Interaction: Clair ( Uasal Uasal )

Her answer did surprise him. She looked so perfectly relaxed for a stranger in a foreign environment. In fact, the obscurity of everything that struck him as... remarkable had no further reaction from her apart from the additional expression of glee. For a moment, Ravus thought that she was in the same position of the old man. It turned out he was wrong.

"My name is Ravus. A pleasure to make your acquaintance," his gloved hand shook her extended hand firmly. While his mouth curled upward to make a hint of a smile, he stared at her with a growing curiosity. Although her physical body was clearly those of an adult, her behaviour reminded him of a child; Not a single care for the world and irritatingly optimistic. Yet if the key told the truth, she wouldn't be here unless she was desperate for a second chance in life. Curious.

He found his key inside an old encyclopedia, tucked neatly like a bookmark. It wouldn't be a problem if the book wasn't 200 years old. The frail pages of the relic could be damaged by its weight, so he carefully extracted it. Of course, like everyone else, he read the message, but he dismissed it as a prank, much like the key. Then why did he use it? The key had a unique shape, and when he found that he could insert it to a keyhole with an obviously different shape, he thought it was a skeleton key.

"Do you really believe about the second chance? Life is not a fairytale. I admit the circumstance that took us here is a bit weird, but... " he shrugged. He never believed in magic or spiritual beings. Childish, he thought to himself.
