School Regulations

1. Students may reside only within the campus of Hope's Peak Academy
   
2. Leaving the school area is regarded as an unacceptable use of time and will be punished accordingly.
   
3. "Night-time" is from 10 pm and 7 am. Some areas of the school will be locked and the water supply will be turned off.
   
4. Sleeping anywhere except the dormitories will be seen as sleeping in class and will be punished.
   
5. Boys are expressly prohibited from entering areas designated for girls and vice-versa.
   
6. Otherwise,with minimal restrictions, students may explore the school by their own discretion
   
7. Violence against the Headmaster Monokuma is strictly prohibited, as is destruction of security cameras and monitors.
   
8. Students can only exit the school if they kill a fellow student or find out who the spy is and report to Headmaster Monokuma.
   
9. If a student murders another student,they will be considered the 'Blackened'
   
10. The Body Discovery Announcement will play if 3  or more students find the body.
    
11. After the Body Discovery Announcement, 'Investigation Period' will start.
    
12. During the 'Investigation Period', rules 3 and 5 are null.
    
13. After a certain time,the 'Investigation Period' will end and a class trial will begin. Attendance by students is mandatory.
    
14. During the trial, students may vote on who they think the Blackened is. The vote is decided by the plurality rule.
    
15. If the Blackened is exposed during the trial,they alone will be executed.
    
16. If the Blackened is not exposed, all the other students will be punished.
    
17. A student can reveal the Spy's identity to Monokuma by reporting to him. If he provides enough evidence that there is no doubt that the person accused is the Spy, the student may leave the school and only the Spy will be executed.
