Caught in a storm
Appearance: Image, things like height weight.
Name:
Nicknames: (If any)

Backstory:

Feel free to bombard me with even more info if you want, I just require that this is the minimum info I need.

Appearance: ((I'lll draw up an image later)) Greyish cinnamon brown hair, dark eyes, stands at about 5'0" and weighs about 99 pounds, has sharp teeth, ears are ratlike as is her nose and her nails are more claws and her feet have the same claws too, and she has a rat tail.

Name: Finley Fitch

Nicknames: Finn, Rat Girl, Rodent

Gender: Female

Alias: Rat Queen

Personality: Upbeat and flirty with girls, she likes to joke around but is actually still insecure because of her looks. She's learned to hide it well and save the sad times for private.

Quirk: Rat

Strengths: Climbing - She can climb up any rough vertical surface, wood, brick, concrete, weathered sheet metal, and many plastic products, enhanced agilty and balance, enhanced bite (can gnaw through things like lead and aluminum sheeting, window screens, wood, rubber, vinyl, fiberglass, plastic, and low-quality concrete or concrete block), enhanced hearing and smell.

Weaknesses: Is color blind, and like a rat if her body is at too high a temperature or she's in an area where the temperature is too high for too long, she begins to get lethargic and her movements slow down.

Backstory: Fin was actually born in America to two parents that have quirks. She grew up happy enough, always seeming to get whatever she asked from her parents so she was a little spoiled. So when her sister was born she had a bit of a competitive streak in her, trying to get her parents attention more than the baby.

When she turned six her quirk began to emerge, a small tail starting to grow from her tail bone (talk about growing pains!), her ears were starting to change shape, as was her nose and face, teeth and the nails on her hands and feet. Naturally looking like a rat earned her all sorts of teasing from her fellow classmates and she used to cry about it a lot. But... her younger sister always seemed to like how she looked. Even when it was a pain when her sister, Flora, tugged on her ears and growing tail, she was innocently delighted by it and Finn found herself growing fond of her sibling. She also learned to make fun of herself and joke around about her appearance as a way to cope with the harsh teasing, the bravado she put on by doing so seeming to turn away most of the teasers.

It wasn't until she was about thirteen and her sister Flora was eight that they learned just why they got everything they asked for from their parents. Their parents used their quirks for crime, they usually stuck to low key crimes, being smart and hitting when they were sure heroes were busy or planning the best methods of escape. However they had gone for a big score, getting away with bags of money from a packed armored truck and they'd successfully gotten home to hide it.

This lead to big time heroes in the area moving in to solve the crime and leading to a showdown between them and their parents. Finn and Flora's parents had been defeated in the end and sent to jail, leaving Finn and her sister to go into the foster care system and be brutally picked on by those that knew them. Finn never forgave her parents for that and unable to take aftermath, had formed a plan.

She'd become a hero and someone that no one could make fun of!

Unfortunately she worried that the hero academy in America would outright reject her because of her parentage, so with a little saved up money and some help, she and her sister made their way to France where Finn managed to become accepted into the Academy there.

Appearance:
tori.jpg
Name: Tori Azure
Nicknames: (If any) None
Gender: Female
Alias: Mesmer
Personality: Tori is abit of a dark person, caring little about others and their wellbeing, not being very keen on making friends.
Quirk: Telekinetic, tori is capable of lifting objects midair and moving them. She is also capable of a mental shield so long as she focuses, she can then release this shield as a wave but doing so requires focus and energy.
Strengths: Tori has a diverse quirk that is combat useful.
Weaknesses: Her quirk requires constant focus and exhausts her energy, making her lose any battle that lasts long.
Backstory: She grew up in a rich abusive family.

I'll fill this out later.

Name: Althea Cohen

Nickname: Thea

Alias: Salamander

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Appearance: Althea is a tall and slender young woman, with pale skin accented by golden scales. These scales run over the outside of her body, up her legs, torso to her shoulders, down her arm and up to her hairline.
They range from a light yellow color to a deep burnished gold. She has a set of horn protruding from the top of her head, the left one is broken at the base. Her tail extends from her waist down to the ground and ends in a triangular tip. She also has a pair of wings, that are typically folded against her back, both her tail and wings sport golden scales as well.

Her hair is a fiery red color and hangs past her waist, she usually has it tied back in a ponytail. Her eyes are bright green.

Height: 5'7

Weight: 140

Birthday: May 15

Quirk: Draconic Might (She has the aspects of a dragon)

Strengths: Her scales provide her with above average durability, her wings flight, and she can breath fire. She's adept in hand to hand combat, and thrives in close quarters combat. She also has above average strength and stamina.

Weaknesses: Thea's biggest weakness is her fractured mind, her impulsive and child like nature make it difficult for her to remain focused and to concentrate on her quirk. She struggles to control her fire breath as well, and can be easily tricked or manipulated. Her fire breath also has a nasty habit of exhausting her stamina, as she doesn't have a lot of practice using it.

Personality: Althea is a bubbly, loud impulsive young woman, who tends to act first and ask questions later. She wears her heart on her sleeve and is a friendly ball of energy with pretty much everyone she meets. Her time in behavioral therapy has helped her with her self control, but at times she still struggles to act within normal social norms. Still, she's friendly to all and is quick to jump into action if she thinks someone is in danger or sad.

Family:

Mother: Viva S. Drushel- A pro hero who aimed to have her daughter follow in her footsteps. After Althea's accident the stress and guilt weighed heavily on her shoulders, eventually driving a wedge between Viva, her daughter and husband. After the divorce, Viva left Althea with her mother, and retired from hero work all together. She now lives a quiet life in an undisclosed location, and hasn't talked to her mother or daughter in many years.

Father: Elliot Cohen- A pro hero who's daughter's accident ultimately drove him to the brink. In the years after the divorce, Elliot moved cities but continued working as a hero. Much like his ex, he hasn't had contact with his daughter in years, though he thinks of her often.

Grandmother: Cheiko Drushal- A former pro who took Thea in as a child after her parents abandoned her. She raised her as her own, honing her combat skills and supporting her during the difficult times throughout her life. Thea likes to call her Nanny, as Cheiko hates being called grandma.

History:
If you ask Thea herself about her past, she'll probably frown and complain of a massive headache. This is because of the injury she sustained as a young child. Althea was born to a loving couple who were both pro heroes, Viva and Elliot Cohen. Both hoped one day their daughter would be able to join them in the hero circuit.

Viva possessed a mutant type quirk, which gave her the aspect and abilities of a komodo dragon, she had the scales, tail and toxic bite that make the creatures famous. Unlike these creatures, she could expel a poison gas to incapacitate her foes. Elliot was gifted with the quirk of flight, he had a pair of bat like wings which enabled him to soar effortlessly through the air.

In their daughter, these traits combined and mutated into something new, giving their daughter the golden scales and bat like wings. The biggest oddity was her fire breathing, which is believed to be a mutation of her mother's toxic bite and breath.

For the early years of her life, Althea grew up in a stable, happy home, with two supporting parents who had high, daring hopes that she would rise to be a great hero one day.

But then...came the accident. It all happened so quickly, one moment the bubbly little six year old and skipping down the side walk along side her parents, the next she was darting out into the street, chasing after a cat which was running through traffic.

Nothing her parents could've done would've prevented the accident, the oncoming traffic wasn't able to stop in time, so young Althea was struck by a truck. The young girl was rushed to the hospital and under went several surgeries. Her survival was ultimately attributed to her scales, which shielded her from a small amount of the damage.

In the collision, one of her horns was broken at the base, and Althea sustained severe brain damage.
At first, her parents were just relieved that their child survived, but as the months passed and Althea recovered, the effects of this cranial damage began to show. Gone was their sweet, kind and bubbly young girl, instead she was replaced by an impulsive, destructive and emotional little girl, one who her parents couldn't handle.

Between the stress of trying to help their daughter and dealing with the guilt over the accident, their marriage was frayed to the point of no return.
A year after the accident, Althea's parents split up, and custody of the girl was given to her maternal grandmother, Cheiko Drushal.

Now stuck raising her volatile granddaughter, Cheiko had to figure out a way to wrangle Thea's outbursts and help her to control her power. As a skilled hand to hand fighter, she began teaching Thea to fight, in the hopes of giving her a more positive outlet for her energy.
This coupled with behavioral therapy helped to tame Thea’s wild outbursts and personality, and in time Cheiko came to realize that her granddaughter hadn’t lost her heroic spirit. Althea still longed to help save others, and wished to become a pro hero, just like her parents before her.

The path to being a pro isn’t easy for anyone, but for Thea it was especially complicated. It took some time for her to acclimate to a classroom setting once again, as being around people often proved to be a bit too exciting for her to handle. But with time, behavioral therapy and a hell of a lot of determination, Althea has overcome her traumatic past in order to strive for a better future.
A part of obtaining this dream came in the form of a big move, from the states where Thea was born, to France, where she could attend a prestigious hero academy and accomplish her dream. Cheiko thought the new environment would be a good change of pace for Thea, and she herself has always wanted to travel and live out of the country.
The pair have been living in France for about a year, with Thea finishing up middle school there and now moving on to high school.

Name: Dante De Santa
Appearance: Dante stands at 5'8" with a toned athletic build weighing around 160 lbs
Gender: Male
Alias: Polaris

Personality: Dante can come across as very egotistical, cocky, confrontational, and arrogant. Often times pushing other people's buttons with his general air of superiority. While at other times, he can be friendly, and even kind, able to show great maturity when it's required. However he's always one to make light of delicate situations and has a habit of pretending he's the ultimate tough guy and that nothing fazes him.

Quirk Name: Attract & Repel

Quirk Ability: Dante's hands and feet have the ability to stick to any solid surface, such as walls, glass windows,or even skin, but not surfaces like water or smoke. He also has the ability to propel objects or himself, depending on what he's used his quirk to stick himself to. This allows him to fire himself from certain surfaces like a missile, or even fire objects from his hand like a projectile.

Strengths: Dante's quirk makes him extremely unpredictable in a straight up fight, letting him attack from multiple angles quickly, and becoming that much more difficult to face in an enclosed environment. He's also very proficient in hand to hand fighting and is overall extremely athletic and durable, making him troublesome even without his quirk.

Weaknesses: One of Dante's biggest weakness is that the effectiveness of his quirk drops drastically in a situation without objects, walls, or solid surfaces to use his abilities.

Backstory: Raised in a family of a long line of heroes, a lot was expected from Dante at a young age. His parents, very wealthy from their own heroing and the family fortune spared no expense for their children. The youngest of four brothers, they were all homeschooled using the best private tutors and trained to utilize their quirks as soon as they manifested. Their childhoods were defined by constant education and competition to be the best. And when compared to his brothers during lessons, Dante's quirk was the weakest and when it came to studies he always seemed to have the lowest scores. Because of this fact he was often picked on by his brothers and could never seem to impress his parents no matter how hard he tried... this cycle went on for years until it was finally his time to shine.

He was taking the entrance exams to the biggest hero academy in America. It was tradition, everyone from his fathers side of the family had attended there and the same was expected from him. His brothers were already enrolled and now it was his turn to make it in, just like them.

He passed every test with flying colors, becoming one of the highest scoring participants... before turning down his own acceptance out of spite for his family. He refused to follow in their footsteps, and strangely enough he was rewarded for it.

In the crowd of judges, one turned out to be a scout for an academy in France. Seeing a lot of potential in Dante and not wanting it to go to waste, he was offered a spot in the academy. It wasn't hard to convince him to go, and before he knew it he was on a plane ride to Europe. He planned to become a hero in his own way, without following the path his family set out for him.

kassim_by_acca_heth-d85dmsx.png

Name: Ezekiel Ulysses
Nickname(s): Goes by his first name, but people close to him tends to call him 'Zeke'.
Hero Alias: When it's time to choose? Rá, the Sun Hero. Pronounced exactly how it looks. 'R-ah'.
Sexuality: Bisexual

Nationality: Half Egyptian, half African American.
Age: Sixteen, though he's nearing his seventeenth birthday.
Birthdate: October 27th
Sign: Scorpio

Appearance: Ezekiel is tall for his age - noticeably so, considering the fact that he now lives in France. Standing at around 6 feet, with broad shoulders and a lean, muscular frame that is littered in mysterious scars and tattoos, it isn't uncommon for most people to initially be cautious when dealing with the foreign exchange student. Light brown skin covers his frame, meshing rather well with his deep blue eyes and dusky black hair. Speaking of hair - his has been growing since he was a baby, pulled into a multitude of dreadlocks that he generally ties back in order to keep his vision completely clear. That being said, there are usually a couple of locks that falls over his forehead, annoyingly enough. A little quirk of his quirk is that there is always energy beneath his skin, so his body temperature is always very warm. It also gives a golden tint to his otherwise chocolate-like complexion.

Quirk: The Sun's Blessing - When Ezekiel was born, his Quirk was immediately awakened - and it was with an explosion of light that he permanently blinded the doctor. To keep it relatively straightforward and simple, Ezekiel's Quirk allows him to generate and store raw solar energy, either from the sun or from his very own body, in a multitude of ways - in what most people has since dubbed 'Light Manipulation'. Much like that of the sun, the energy Ezekiel utilizes is comfortably warm at its coldest, and bone-meltingly hot at its hottest. So far, he has found many useful and creative ways in which to use his Quirk - most of them offensive in nature. Beams, blasts, bangs, you know the drill. Then again, that is what school is about, right? Developing and learning how to use your power for good. Due to the inherently powerful nature of his Quirk, it does come with a downside of being hard to control, and dangerous to the user if not careful.

Personality: Coming across as a stoic and intense on first glance, Ezekiel is, in reality, a cool-headed, independent, and quiet young man with a tough past - a past recognizable by the mere feeling of danger coating his body language. Fortunately, his heart has always leaned towards the 'kinder' spectrum, and so he has always done what was right whenever possible, steering him off of the path of a villain. Though it's a bit difficult to shake his calm bluntness and piss him off, Ezekiel does have a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor that often ends with deadpans and smirks, though it is mostly all in good taste and surprisingly funny - though the darker side of his humor can be iffy for some goody-two-shoes. When he does get pissed off though...well, try to clear out. It's not a pretty sight. At the very least, close your eyes.

With that being said, Ezekiel is very adaptable, clever, and quick-witted, which is partly the reason why he manages to keep his crap together almost constantly. A side-effect, and one of the very few positives, of living his life on the streets. At the very core of his character, past the cool confidence, blunt attitude, stoicness, and sharp humor, Ezekiel's sense of what's right and wrong is extremely strong. No matter what, he would never abandon or ignore his own moral code - and this is what makes him such a stubborn and determined Hero-In-Training. Even if that code isn't synonymous with that of other heroes, it is his code, and one that he'll follow 'till the day he dies. He's experienced with messed up situations and decisions, and has the wisdom and maturity to take responsibility for his own actions and choose his own path. Unfortunately, his heroic will is so strong, that he has problems with failure. Blaming himself is something that he has done, and continues to do, a lot in his life, regardless of if something was his fault or not.

One thing to note is that Ezekiel has a soft spot for naturally sweet and innocent people, and will soften up quickly around them, showing a side of himself that almost no one gets to see.

History: Ezekiel was born to a poor mother within the slums of Cairo, Egypt. His father was never in the picture during the early years of his life, and Ezekiel never saw fit to ask about his absentee of a father again after his mom broke down during the first time. Life....was hard, to be honest - really hard. His mother had a job as a nurse, despite her significant lack of training, but she was a nurse to an illegal street doctor so her lack of credentials was never a problem. Even when he was a child, Ezekiel knew that he had a responsibility as the man of the house, and so he went out into the streets to do whatever he could to help his mother with their survival. Odd jobs - be they legal or illegal - was what he did starting off. The people in the slums...they didn't give a flying care if you were five or twenty, as long as you could understand orders and directions, and your legs worked as well as your brain.

He was a favorite since he had a really powerful Quirk. Sure, Ezekiel was a kid, but considering the alternative was having his mother and him starve to death...well, he didn't really have any choice. Practically raising himself, and always running around - whether it be to the next dropbox, or away from the law enforcement or thugs, Ezekiel learned to grow up fast. And, as he grew up, the young boy began to realize that a life of petty crime...it wasn't what he wanted. He was doing it all to help his mother, sure, but damn if he didn't wanna do something that could help his mom and help others at the same time.

It was around this time where he realized...that maybe he could. Street gangs...they were very popular in Cairo, considering the flaky and horrid conditioning of the slums and the law enforcement within. The decision to make a gang was a tough one, but with other likeminded people...maybe he could do some good. Stealing from other gangs, fighting for their territory and resources...maybe that was better than stealing from other poor people, and delivering drugs to addicts. No, not even maybe - it was, and it would keep his mother safe. So, a boy became a gang leader, and though the gang was filled with other kids and teenagers, they became as close as siblings and practically took over the underground network of thievery and crime - with a cleverness that astounded many, all underneath the leadership of a boy with an unshakeable will.

For years, this was his life. He managed to get his mother into a comfortable spot where she was no longer starving every morning in order to fix him breakfast. Their life wasn't perfect...but it was no longer terrible, and that's all he could ever ask for. She never asked where the money came from - not when he came home during the nights and early mornings, bleeding from cuts, eyes glowing an ethereal golden. Ezekiel was happy for that - happy that she trusted him. And she did, even if her lack of action both disappointed and disgusted her.

Of course, all things eventually come to an end. The visit from his father was surprising and completely random. Ezekiel had been resting at his mother's flat with a couple of his gang brothers. It was his mother's flat, because he had moved into the gang's hideout a year ago. At the age of fifteen, he stood eye to eye with the dark-skinned city man in the expensive Armani suit. And when the man told him that he was taking him to France - fancy smancy France! - in order to join a Hero Course, right after revealing that he was the man who abandoned his wife and child to life in the slums?

Ezekiel attacked him right there.

He didn't win, of course, even with his brothers backing him up. The man had security - a lot of security, and though his 'father' would forever be scarred with a fist-shaped burn mark right over his heart, the man got what he wanted regardless. Chained and shackled, Ezekiel was forced into the back of a car, and taken to a private jet. His mother...she was left behind. That's what pissed him off the most. But he had a lot of money stored away, and his brothers would tell the gang of what happened. His second in command would take over. His mother would be safe. But him? Stuck in Japan...?

He wasn't looking forward to it. His father spoke during the flight. Rehabilitation. Turning him into a Hero worthy of the Ulysses name. Make father proud. A recommendation into the French Hero School, Scales Academy. Blah blah blah, a bunch of other bull. Though, now that Ezekiel calmed down, he did realize something. Moving past the crap about rehabilitation and the 'Ulysses' name, this did give him an opportunity. The opportunity to become the strongest he could be, and eventually, save his mom from the slums. Shower her with luxury. Hell, he could even clean Cairo from the scum, and all of Egypt! He just had to get through this Academy, and be the best.

Easy, right?

Role: Hero in Training.

Image, things like height weight.
Name: Katja Glinka
Nicknames: (If any)
Gender: Female
Alias:
Personality: Katja is a fairly positive person and friendly, though she can be rather awkward when it comes to others given her rather limited contact with others her age. Katja enjoys things like painting and model war games where she often animates the pieces just for fun to do battle. She also enjoys being a bit over dramatic acting things up at least when it comes to what she called hero stuff. Overall she is an easy person to get along with, only annoyed if people constantly try to give her to much help.
Quirk:
kabbalah the words of creation:
Katja Has the ability to create golems of various sizes depending of the amount of material in the local area by establishing and maintaining skin contact with a surface of the material. The golems abilities are determined by Katja when she makes them and the material that the golem is made from. The abilities are normally at or slightly above human, again depending on the material, though most will have super human strength. No matter what material a golem is made from they will all be around the same intelligence level, being able to understand and interpret commands, but dumb enough to repeat a command until ordered to stop. When fighting a golem is a fairly instinctual fighter and will use its strength and durability over complex strategies unless directed to do so. Commands between Katja and her golem or golems can be either verbal or mental, though spoken are by far more effective given the golem clearer messages. The golems while tough are not invulnerable each has a core in one of three locations that when struck will instantly destroy it.

Strengths: given golems don't feel pain, can't be turned against her, and can shrug off all but the worst wound Katja has a powerful fighting force able to go toe to toe with the strongest of foes.

Weaknesses: Katja is basically wheelchair bound and without it, she can barely walk. Overall Katja lacks mobility and personal defense having to use her golems for everything.

Backstory: Katja was born with a degenerative condition that has slowly been robbing her of her mobility, for the first few years she was fine, but then she started to need braces then crutches, and finally a wheelchair. Still Katja was lucky in a way as both her parents , her father Russian , her mother Japanese actually were both fairly wealthy so she has received treatment from all over the world. This means that Katja has actually spent most of her life traveling to different countries being home schooled to keep up with others of her age as she needed to travel. Still katja has grown annoyed that she can't really make any lasting connection and has decided that France will be the last country she will go to for extra treatment. Having traveled all over Katja as seen many heroes and decided she will join them regardless of the functionality or lack of such in her legs.

Height: 6'3
Weight: 80kgs
Name: Doug Phillips
Nicknames: D-Dog
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Alias: Crisis
Personality: Doug is friendly, quiet yet decisive and determined. He's not very good in social situations but makes up for it on the battlefield.
Quirk: Transformation
Strengths: He can transform into his alter ego "Daimon", a demon who inhabits his body. He must remember to never fully transform until he has learnt to control it. Otherwise he might never turn back. When in full form Daimon can fly, move very fast and is very strong.
Weaknesses: Daimons power are weaker depending on how much Doug transforms, at the beginning Doug will not have much control so he won't be able to use Daimon at his full potential.
parttimer_03_2.jpg
Backstory:
Both Dougs parents are quirkless and no expected him to have any powers, Doug spent most of his early years in hospital and therapy, most people thought his sudden change in character was some sort of split personality manifesting but over time realised it was simply his quirk evolving through age. In this time Doug was able to learn a lot about himself but being continually seperate from others caused him to lose much of his social skills. Infact Doug has often trouble reading peoples emotions leading him to either be hated or loved for what seems like a lack of empathy or understanding. His dream is to find a purpose, he feel that will be achieved attending UA.

Appearance:

Height: 5'8
Name: Jessie Collins
Nicknames: Jude
Gender: Female
Alias: Spirit
Personality: She's aggresive, cocky, hot-headed and competitive. Her aim is to be the best at whatever she does.
Quirk: Reaper
Strengths: Whenever she hits an opponent she can negate a persons quirk for a few minutes
Weaknesses: She's not very strong and tends to rely more on speed
Backstory: She was born in the same town as Doug(Earlier post), they ended up at school together and she remained his only friend throughout the years. Her mother and father died while fighting some villains leaving her with a thirst for justice, she lives with her grandma and pa and attends UA with Doug.

Name: Victoria Laffitte
Nicknames: Vic, Laffy-Taffy
Gender: Female
Alias: Silken
66941623_p10_master1200_by_ray_kbys-dc4001r.jpg
Height: 5'5"
Personality: Victoria is an extremely thoughtful young lady, who's attention to presentation is rivaled only by her desire to better herself. Though she has difficulty communicating in anything other than French, Victoria is extremely social to the point of being quite the Icon. Yes, her kindly nature and inability to hold ones negative traits against them makes it understandable why others seem to enjoy her presence. She's very methodical, and enjoys solving puzzles using unclear methods. In fact, despite her wealthy background and intrinsic fixation on her own appearance, many will find that Victoria is extremely grounded.

Quirk: Clothing Manipulation- Victoria can assume control over most forms of clothing ranging from wool to leather. Once she's physically touched a piece of clothing, she can move and reshape it as she wishes. Forming sleeves into whips and other offensive weapons, levitating her own clothes to imitate flight, even turning the clothing of opponents against them.

Strengths: Victoria's quite the thinker, and is more than capable of seeing through certain plans if their intent is too obvious.
Her Quirk is extremely versatile, providing her mobility, defensive, and offensive capabilities all at once.
Dancer's Physique- If somehow placed into a situation where her Quirk is useless, Victoria is agile and limber enough to still present a modicum of threat on her own.

Weaknesses:
-
Her primary weakness would have to be heavy metallic armor. Her Quirk doesn't effect metal, so not only would she not be able to control it, but even cloth shaped into weapons would have reduced efficiency against it.

-Another problem she has would have to be the division of focus. While she's become exceptionally talented at controlling her entire wardrobe at once, she's unable to maintain focus when dealing with another set of clothes at the same time. And when dealing with multiple opponents she'd almost never risk exerting too much control upon their clothes as it would leave too many holes in her own defenses.

-She has to physically make contact with an enemy's clothes to exert control over it, as in touch it with her own skin.

-Nudity

Backstory: The Laffitte Clothing Conglomerate is one of the mainstays of the French Fashion scene, as such it was practically fate for Victoria to follow her family into the limelight of all things cloth. She was an icon from childhood, growing into the attention her family's name got her with finesse and grace. Most of her classmates marveled at her aptitude for presentation, rivaled only by the air of scholarly maturity which others would associate with her numerous times in her life. When she began manifesting her quirk, everyone had assumed she would use it to craft various ensembles that her Family's company would then spread to the masses.

However, that all changed when Victoria used it to single-handedly stop a robbery at her home. Seeing the potential of her Quirk, Victoria began considering the idea of becoming a hero. This curiosity grew over time as she began using her Quirk to benefit the lives of her peers through shows of capability. It was during this period of time that Victoria began testing the limits of her Quirk, going from simply using it to shape beautiful clothes to pulling others from danger, shaping materials into weaponry and using it to enhance her own movements. With the support of friends and family behind her, Victoria quickly realized that her quirk was actually quite formidable. With this knowledge under her belt, the Fashionista applied for Scales Academy with full intent to spread the Laffitte name into the Hero Business as well.

Name: Milo Jacquard
Nicknames: Miles, Jack
Gender: Male
Alias: QuickBurn
maple_blazer_blunt_by_ray_kbys-daku6ir.jpg
Height: 5'9"

Personality: Milo is draining to be around, if for nothing more than the fact that he seems to carry an aura of general negativity around him. His constant smiles and almost lackadaisical looking nature may not portray it, but Milo's got a real talent for getting on people's nerves. Not that he does it on purpose, its more like he doesn't really have a filter when it comes to spewing his thoughts, even if those thoughts may paint him or others in a bad light. Yes, Milo spends just as much time trash-talking himself as he does others, as he seems incapable of being impressed by anyone. He seems to actively discourage taking pride in anything, and is more than willing to treat most things as some kind of game or joke. Most things, as Milo does seem to put stock in the position of heroes in society. In fact, the only thing Milo seems to truly believe in is what heroes represent to the common people. He believes in it so much that it can actually be jarring watching someone like him go from a general jokester to die-hard believer.

Quirk: Combust Teleport- Milo can perform a type of teleportation by completely combusting into thin air and reappearing up to a block away. The most dangerous thing about his quirk is that he can teleport most things in a similar manner through physical contact. His teleportation does seem to be based on sight, as there are no recorded cases of him actually teleporting through walls. While the range he can send other people is much less than when using it himself, only about thirty five feet, Milo has found many ways to showcase just how annoying his quirk is.

Strengths: Milo's Quirk makes it extremely annoying to fight him, as straight forward attacks that don't span a wide enough radius are easily outmaneuvered for him. It also puts pressure on opponents to avoid contact less they be teleported into unfavorable positions.

Milo utilizes a bastardized version of martial arts seemingly aimed to disorient and overwhelm opponents through quick and unnatural movements and evasion.

Weaknesses:
-Milo is an absolute Glass Cannon who relies on his Quirk to avoid attacks, since he has no physical means of withstanding even the simplest of strikes due to his limber frame.

-Milo is susceptible to unexpected attacks or quick changes in strategy, which is why he tries to keep his opponents agitated and focused on defense through consistent harassment.

-Milo actually needs oxygen to combust, so he can't teleport through solid ground or bodies of water.

- Milo's greatest threat is water and cold in general, as he can't combust if soaked to the bone, rendering his Quirk useless until he can dry off and ignite. Similarly, in snowy climates it gets harder and harder for him to combust, greatly increasing the time between teleportation.

-Milo has to finish recombining and extinguishing before he can combust again, keeping him from successively teleporting. On average it takes about 5-10 seconds for his fire to go out, and gets longer the more clothing he wears. Similarly, if he's facing an opponent who wears many layers, it means he has to wait longer and longer to be able to teleport them. Its these intervals where Milo has to rely on his own physical ability to avoid attacks.

Backstory:
Milo's childhood was overshadowed completely by his brother, Maurice, whose Quirk had actually landed him a gig as personal sidekick of the Bulwark Hero: Lock-Up. Though most would've shriveled under the success of their sibling, Milo indulged in it. As a child he would brag endlessly about how awesome his sibling was, and let that confidence eventually turn him into an all around pest for any and all of his classmates. Though his own Quirk was nowhere near as powerful as his brother's, Milo started putting it to use early asserting the pride his Brother's accomplishments had inspired in him.

That all came crashing down when it was discovered that Maurice had actually been feeding information to a villain while working for Lock-Up, leading to his incarceration. With the big tough image of his sibling he'd built up falling apart seemingly overnight, Milo was shaken to his core. It had stopped him from bragging, but many would contest that his next iteration was somehow worst. Ashamed and distraught by how much of a pedestal he'd placed his brother on, Milo seemed to develop an internal disgust for the notion of pride itself. Now unable to see the special aspects of himself or others, Milo began training to enroll in a hero academy. Many who'd had the misfortune of knowing Milo during this time would hypothesize that the only reason he's aspiring to become a hero is to spite his brother by becoming what his sibling was supposed to be.

Name: Silas Rees
Gender: Male
Alias: Hat Trick
Personality: Silas is calm, cool-head and analytical...or at least he aspires to be, in truth he has a tendency for showboating and becomes flustered when a plan goes awry and unbearably smug when they do.
Quirk: Magic Hat - Silas can use any hat as a portal to a personal 'hammerspace' capable of storing a theoretically infinite number of objects and recall them at will or portal himself either partly or fully between them as long as the hat is big enough to fit through.
Strengths: If it fits through the inner circumference of a hat he can hold onto it no matter how long it is lengthwise.

Can choose whether to preserve or cancel the momentum of objects stored.
Weaknesses: May as well be quirkless if there are no hats within fifty metres.

Wearing random objects like hats does not a hat make.

Any hole larger than 10% of a hats inner circumference renders it unusable.

Currently only usable with at most four hats simultaneously.

Cannot close the portal while an object is partway through.
Backstory: Hailing from the Welsh capital of Cardiff both of Silas' parents held posts at the local university giving him a fairly well off childhood. As a child he was initially thought to be functionally quirkless as the rabbit ears he inherited from his mother were undersized and mostly superficial and he lacked his father's quirk of accessing a hammerspace via his pockets until he attempted to imitate a classic magic trick and was found looking like he had lost an arm in a tragic hat related accident.

Silas' interest in becoming a hero was aroused by the exploits of a local pro-hero that was also a close friend of his father who encouraged him to develop his quirk leading to the discovery of it's additional traits and sponsored his entry into Scales Academy.

Name:
Gilbert Toussnint

Nicknames:
Gil, Bert.

Age:
40

Gender:
Male

Alias:
Mr.Drunken/The Drunken Hero

Personality:
Gilbert, like many heroes, believes in working incredibly hard to get things done. He likes to work incredibly hard and rarely takes the 'easy' route when going about his day to day activities, only breaking this trend when absolutely necessary. He is known to always finish what he starts, and often goes well out of his way to see things done, and will even cause this way of doing things to extend to others around them, picking up their slack and finishing whatever they were doing. Of course, this doesn't extend to his enemies trying to kill him, or anything so ridiculous, but many would say he may be obsessed with 'completion'.

Unlike many heroes, however, he is prone to lying. In fact, he has a habit to lie about things that he otherwise would not need to, sometimes even hindering many people around him. While he's not exactly stuck on lying, regardless, the sheer volume of lies he does spout happen to make those who have heard of him consider him a hard person to believe about anything, even simple things like his own name. However, when he does choose to tell the truth, it is typically in situations that are important (as he sees it), and so he isn't completely impossible to believe or depend on...just very hard to.

Gilbert is also fairly laid back, despite his normally hard-working demeanor, causing him to not take many actual jobs that are offered to him (or at least wishing he could avoid them) and spending a lot of his free time simply relaxing. This part of him simply means that he's calm and cool in most situations, and even allowing him to remain perfectly calm in ever the worst sort of situations; it allows him to think through circumstances easily enough, and even fight past grief in order to see the real answer to what he should do.

Gilbert is, naturally, incredibly obsessive; when he likes something, he obsesses over the thing continuously, never wavering from what he wants to do with it, but also to the point that he will put all of his effort into it, often leaving him drained and exhausted. Or often to the point where he finds himself unable to complete tasks that the had set out to do prior to obtaining a new obsession, often leading to him obsessing over the thing he had forgotten about in order to obsess over the thing he finished. This has a constant trend of making him fairly odd in a relationship, and he often ends up coming off as slightly 'crazy' to those who don't know him all that well.

Despite his faults, however, Gilbert is not a bad person; he does not wish any ill will on anyone other than his worst enemies, and will often do what he can to help inspiring individuals along the way. He tends to be very helpful indeed and tries to help others as much as he can without making it hard for himself, which he often fails at due to his inherent nature. Much time is spent on others, despite the way he acts, and he often takes on burdens that could be seen as far too much for a single individual, much less an entire group.

Quirk:
Alcohol:
Gilbert's body consumes alcohol differently than most people while most people alcohol just has mostly negative effects such as reduced coordination, warped thinking, poor judgment, impaired memory, and impairing motor functions to Gilbert it has positive ones. When Gilbert drinks and the more he drinks he becomes much stronger than he was originally to the point where his movements become nearly a blur to the untrained eye, lifting 400 pounds becomes relatively easy, and he gains quite a high pain tolerance his movements also become incredibly hard to read. While using his quirk he does still suffer from the usual effects of alcohol however of years of experience he has gotten mostly used to fighting with it...so long as he doesn't drink too much.

Strengths:
Hard to read attacks.
Fast movements.
Super-human Strength.
High pain tolerance

Weaknesses:
Normal alcohol-induced weakness.
Substance dependent.
His drawback.

Drawback:
Due to his quirks nature his body process alcohol much faster than most, while many would see this as a good thing it means Gilbert has to constantly drink to keep his quirk working. After his body has run out of alcohol his body faces a rather brutal recoil depending on what he used his quirk for. This is because his quirk only grants those supernatural abilities while under the influence of alcohol. Once his body runs out it and if he has been in a rather rough fight he has the effects of massive fatigue along with very likely muscle, bone and tendon damage and while drinking again can stop this he would have to be constantly drinking which would just cause the drawback to rack up more and more injuries waiting for him.

Backstory:
Gilbert was born 39 years ago to Sofia Jacalyn and her husband Abel Toussnint, who lived in a large house in the countryside of northern France. For the first few months of his life, Gilbert's
family seemed complete. His mother would stay at home and take care of him, while his father goes on various jobs as a Hero in order to provide for the family. Hanka was a Pro Hero, and because of the dangerous nature of his occupation he couldn't care for his son and make money at the same time. This led him to call on the help of Saul Toussnint, his father and a fellow Pro hero. The two would alternate hunts so that Gilbert would always be supervised as a small child, by someone other than just his mother. As Gilbert grew older, he began to see the work of his family as something he would like to pursue as well when he grew up. Abel and Saul gave full support to Gilbert interest in heroing, and began training him in the basics by the time the boy was six years old.

Unfortunately, after returning home from an especially difficult job, Abel fell into a deep depression and completely lost interest in both hunting and teaching his son. As this behavior went on Gilbert watched his father's health slowly decline, and within two years Hanka was dead. While he was greatly affected by his father's death, Gilbert did not let this stop him from striving to become a hero himself. Saul continued to train him to become a hero, to his mother up most displeasure.

Gilbert grew up a very isolated child, with Sofia dictating the majority of his actions and interactions with other people unless Saul was around. He knew very little about his father other than what his mother told him and what he could vaguely remember. This caused him to develop trust issues with most people besides his mother and Saul, which unintentionally worked out in Sofia's favor in her efforts to isolate her son. One day, Gilbert explored the attic of his home. This was a place that had been off-limits to him practically since he was born, but with his only company ever being his mother and Saul, one has to find ways of entertaining themselves. While digging through some old documents in a chest of his mother's, he found something he'd never expect; letters from his father to his mother.

In these letters contained evidence of not only Abel's status as a hero and his fate (something Gilbert already knew), but they also told of his obsession with tracking down a notorious thief known as "The Iron Ram". His father had clashed with the thief several times and devoted a half-decade of his life to capturing The Iron Ram, but finally gave up the obsession after meeting Sofia. But most shocking of all was that Gilbert found evidence that his mother had in fact been the true Iron Ram, and had initially pursued Gilbert father romantically because he was close to bringing her true identity to light. Shocked by what he'd found, Gilbert confronted his mother with all the letters and documents, hoping she would deny them and explain. Instead, Sofia met him with fury, even striking him across the face for digging up those papers.

Feeling a new, deep hatred for his mother, Gilbert ran away from his home, declaring he would follow in his father's footsteps and become a Hero so he could put his mother in prison for her crimes. Following these events, Gilbert began training extensively to become a hero and he surely did that. For the next ten years of his life, Gilbert spent doing various jobs and putting away an impressive amount of villains ranging from weak ones to some that were extremely strong. He never however managed to arrest his mother, 'The Iron Ram' since just as he finished his training she passed away.

As the years went by Gilbert found his body changing his drawback becoming more and more painful and deadly and while it took him away he figured out it was a heroes worst enemy...age the one thing no matter how strong the hero they just couldn't defeat. He decided to step off the front lines for a while and got an offer to do something he never saw himself doing teaching. It took him a week to decide but he ended up accepting the offer, he decided that he may as well do something productive with his time while hopefully giving his body time to rest.

Name: Jane Dorethy Delacroix
Nicknames: JD, Deadline
Gender: Female
Alias: Undecided

Appearance:
Height: 5’ 2” Weight: 120lbs
On the surface Jane often appears as a quiet, dark and solemn individual with their feelings locked behind a passive face. Though it is her eyes that appear to captivate, always looking and almost burning with intensity it is often difficult to truly grasp the girl staring out like twin sapphires in the night. Loose locks of golden blonde hair are a stark contrast to the pale marble like skin, seemingly absent of any blemish as it wraps around athletic albeit short frame that barely passes 5 feet. Despite this she still holds a deceptive amount of muscle and although a times can com across as tomboyish or delinquent, it is still clear she places exceptional care into her appearance.

Normally clad in dark colors that contrast with her skin, they are never the less well made with many custom designs often with some form of cross or skull involved, never seeming to wear the same outfit twice and a good number of them appearing as if brand new. Jane carries herself with care and purpose, displaying a great deal of confidence in their stance each step and movement seemingly well placed and with thought, efficient and simple. The same can be said with her speech, a low yet firm tone with little obvious emotive inflection, though there can be found small undercurrents of curiosity, annoyance or interest depending on the topic in question.

There are a number of abnormalities clearly visible if someone would take the time to look, most notably the absence of any particular breathing, the coldness of her skin and should her mouth open a large number of sharper teeth than would be normal.

Personality:
Coming across as a delinquent to some, Janes words often carry a cold bluntness to them that can be jarring in their straightforward manner and lack of subtlety, some believing them as overly prideful or haughty with the amount of confidence they tend to display. While mostly passive and observant, they nevertheless show a almost inhuman determination for anything they put their mind to locked beanther there usual demeanor. This is most obvious in times of adrenaline, seeming to come alive such as when carrying out heroics, pushing herself or devoting themselves to a task they care deeply about.

Towards others they can be somewhat anti-social, mostly due to misunderstanding several emotional cues, though they do seem to want to help in their own way if somewhat haphazardly. It can also happen to come across as lacking respect as many of her prior teachers would often state, confronting them as a challenge and a refusal to back down when their mind was put to something.

Jane has had a number of philosophies deeply ingrained in her by her childhood and parentage, many that shape the way she behaves and drive her. A example would be from a few simple word she has taken a great deal ““Don't be sorry, Be better”, seeing be how a Failure only seeks to drive her onwards and her belief that the only true goal to overcome should be herself. Though this has been taken to a extreme degree such as her habit to purposefully confront her many of her dislikes as perceived weaknesses to overcome.

Despite all this, deep down Jane is deeply conflicted about her purpose, struggling to put thoughts to feelings and often questioning why she carries out some actions or feels the way she does. The emotions are clearly there to her, yet she lacks a clear understanding at times. The two strongest connections she holds is to her parents but for differing reasons, looking up to her father most of all despite many seeing them as the weaker of the two.

Likes: Biology, Flying, Falling Martial Arts, Music, Meat, Obstacles, Parkour, Puzzles
Dislikes: Cowardice, Bullying, Excuses, Flowers, Salt, Strawberries

Quirk:
Zombie, a curious mutation quirk that has given Jane many of the qualities and capabilities of a Zombie, with wounds quickly healing with a muscle like fibre before being restored to normal and even coming back from what seemed like the impossible.

Strengths:
Lacking many of the typical physical weakness or requirements has allowed her to constantly push her body beyond its limits in a self destructive if effective manner when combined with the raw willpower possesed.

Unlike a normal person she can keep function with what would otherwise be fatal wounds, and shrug off a great deal of damage, all while performing feats beyond the normal capacity of a human by taking advantage of their healing and breaking through the self imposed limits a body normally places on itself to prevent damage. The lack of rest required to function has also allowed her to devote significantly more time to her studies and conditioning.

Given its nature as a transformation quirk, it is fortunately unaffected by negation as each appears to be a natural ability of her body. It has been theorized that the thread like healing she possesses may hold further applications if correctly trained. In combat her style can often be seen as suicidal, leaving purposeful openings to take advantage of such when exploited, taking full advantage of her durability to soak neccessary hits to allow them to strike back easily. This combined with unnatural twists and her sheer levels of endurance makes any prolonged fight ill advised.

Weaknesses:
Outside of the social implications of her abilities and the distress such injuries or feats may cause observers, the primary weakness of Janes quirk is it does not actually prevent feeling pain for actual damage and while possessing remarkable endurance, sufficient pain or damage will slowly degrade her mental faculties and enough outright damage will incapacitate as her body goes dormant to heal her. Should sufficient damage or trauma be delivered to her brain, their tactical ability drops significantly becoming set on the single focus prior to the injury and operating more on instinct than logic, this can pose a extreme danger for those around her as all sense of morality or ethics are lost in favor of the purpose that can often result in them becoming more of a liability in the collateral damage caused.

If pushed beyond her limit, a large amount of heat will be generated as her biomass restores itself, to the point of steam and then straight up combustion requiring her to put herself out as the damage threatens to outpace her regeneration and will become fully incapacitated once enough damage is done.

It is also noted they hold a extreme aversion to Salt, slowly corroding her on contact and inducing vomiting if enough ingested, stunning her while it is purged. The corroded areas are far slower to heal than normal, repairing at a more natural rate. Lesser issues though minor appear to be a distinct lack of smell and numbness of touch, or the fact her outfits are incapable of withstanding the same punishment she can, raising concerns with the lack of modesty she seems to possess.

Skills:
As a result of being trained from a early age, in combination with her own efforts Jane has become quite proficient in a array of martial arts, most notably Savate. This was initially at the behest of her mothers desire to ensure she would not be at risk or taken advantage of, yet the passion and natural talent has had them support and encourage such further. To further this, has been Janes natural athleticism and desire for adrenaline that lead her to a number of extreme sports, though a preference for self taught parkour stating a fondness for the sensation.

Achieving high grades academically much to the annoyance of her teachers, she seemed to place little interest in the topics covered yet did so out of necessity. The exception of this has appeared to be a deep interest in biology, most notably medical fields. Holding a good aptitude and understanding of the topics, with sufficient training and study it is very possible she could become a accomplished doctor, yet her current focus remains set on the path of a hero.

Backstory:
Janes childhood was different to say the least, growing up a single if sickly child there would be grave concerns regarding her health by her parents. Born prematurely and anemic, she would often be treated like a porcelain doll, her parents worried she may break if they were not careful, more so her father than mother. This would come to the head with the emergence of her quirk being one of the scariest parts of her parents lives as they feared the worst until clarification was given by the hospital doctor. While changing her deeply, their quirk allowed them a new sense of freedom, but also new expectations as her mother's approach to them changed substantially, not wanting them to ever be as they were before now the option was available.

While some would assume her mother would drive them towards the path she took, Melissa was surprisingly firm on not given her daughter a direct answer or suggestion instead encouraging them to find their own way, yet the shadow of her parentage would linger with many faculty seeing her as a Villain in the making, the attitude seeping into the children from either them or parents. Though rather than submit to it, Jane would attempt to drown it out and focus on what was ahead of her….yet it was maybe the feeling this caused that sparked her desire to be a hero in the first place as well as shaped who they would become.

Fast forward several years and despite all beliefs, there application would be accepted and gain access to the Scales academy, intent on forging the path forward onwards.

NPC’s:
Melissa Delacroix, Janes mother is a fairly cold if successful business executive at the FCN Network. While she shows pride in daughters accomplishments, it always quickly follows with constantly expecting more from Jane next time. This has had a large impact on her views on how to advance in her life. Prior to career in business she was however known by her villian alias "Madam Mono" who flourished for half a decade, though this eventually ended with her capture, however rather than face jail time the quick thinking and abilities of her Lawyer managed to have her avoid such much to the dismay of the arresting heroes in a landmark case setting precedence to this day.. Melissas quirk appears to allow her to create various prehensile threads from beneath her fingers which she has trained to terrifying effect.

John Delacroix, Janes Father is a fairly cheerful if meek lawyer at a large firm. Mostly supportive of his daughter efforts wanting them to find what they enjoy though still wishes they could slow down to socialize more. Perhaps the most understanding of her parents and this combined with other reasons is perhaps why Jane relationship with them is what it is. He was also the Lawyer who happened to get Diane off on several technicalities. Unknown to most he also holds a power himself, capable of manipulating his own blood when outside his body, yet his low pain tolerance combined with fears of needles and sharp objects has lead to such rarely being used. Despite a somewhat fearful nature at times, he can always be relied upon to do what he needs to do but usually while shaking the entire time.

Name:
Catherine Tsvetok
Nicknames:
Catherine, Chief.
Age:
35
Gender:
Female
Alias:
Some people know her by her unofficial alias "Russian Cyka"
Personality:
Catherine shares many personality traits with other pro heroes, such as a desire to do good and a calm methodical mind. But unlike other heroes, she doesn't strive to become a symbol of peace like her peers. No, she is the kind of person who wouldn't mind participating in almost villainous behavior if it meant that the world would become a better place, the ends justify the means if you will. But even she has a rule that she won't break no matter what, she won't kill any more people.

In every day to day interactions, she might seem standoff-ish and blunt making her seem more like a gangster than a pro-hero but so far no criticism has made her change the way she acts. However, due to the nature of her quirk, the temper that comes as expected with people of that nature isn't there or it's shown very limitedly.

Quirk:
Opposite Hulk:
As the title suggests, the calmer Catherine is the stronger, tougher and faster she gets. Fully calm and focused she's as strong as Japan's trademark hero, capable of incredible feats of strength and speed. Not only that but her senses get increased as well, almost getting an animal like 6th sense that allows her to better defend herself.

Strengths:
Superhuman speed and strength
Increased senses and awareness
Tank-like durability

Weaknesses:
A bit too straightforward.
Vulnerability to ranged attacks and no real way to close the distance other than running.
Her drawback.

Drawback:
Unlike the Hulk, as you could've guessed, the angrier she gets the weaker her powers to get. When fully pissed off she's only a bit stronger than an average woman and is easy to kill as any other mundane.
Backstory:

Born to Vladimir Tsvetok and Maria Tsvetok, Catherine was raised in a nationalistic and traditionally Russian home. She grew up with a deep love and admiration to the government and its president, soon after discovering her quirk her parents enrolled her into the military academy. Over the next years as she left the academy she was sent to serve on two different tours lasting 8 years, before being sent on the third tour she was assigned to a new position in Moscow.

She was directed to lead a new experimental unit that would ruthlessly hunt down and track down any gang activity that only raised after the rise of quirks. This was obviously made a secret to the public in order to protect the image of the government and all of the arrests and raids that were successful were credited to the official heroes.

Due to an incident that is only known to the board of directors of SCALE and herself, she was granted asylum in France and she could only act as a superhero under the direct order of the board of directors and in self-defense.

Fun Facts:
She is happily married to a man four years her junior, who works as a stay at home husband.

She wears the fancy colored shirts because she thinks they're pretty.

Role:
Teacher
