Where they are from (Cataleya, Alexandra, Eden)
Their life when they were younger.
Their time at the Academy (optional)
Their motivations or goals.
How long they've been a part of S.O.H
You can add extra things I want you to enjoy making your characters, if you are not sure about something you may have wanted to add just PM me.
⚔Strikers ⚔
They spend most of their time on the frontlines destroying the beasts. They are very skilled fighters and tend to be very resilient and strongwilled. This is one of the most dangerous as they come face to face with the monster almost on a daily basis. The chance of survival for strikers is low and most don't make a year.
The type of beasts strikers are expected to kill depends on their ranks.
Rank 1-2: are sent to kill S class and A class beats. Strikers who are rank 1-2 have a lot of experience and have been members of S.O.H for quite some time. They tend to be in their late twenties to early thirties. (4 spots)
Rank 3-4: are sent to kill B class and C class beasts. They tend to be very experienced however they are just not good enough to be in rank 1-2. There are some who choose to remain in this rank as they view it as being safer than rank 1-2. Members of this rank are of varying ages, it consists of those in their early twenties, late twenties, and early thirties. (6 spots)
Rank 5-6: are sent to kill D class and E class beasts. They tend to be inexperienced and fresh out of the academy. They don't tend to live very long due to how inexperienced they are. Members of this rank tend to 19-21. (unlimited spots)
🛡Defenders 🛡
It typically consists of those who thought being a striker was too dangerous or those that weren't strong enough to be strikers. They protect the different barriers and walls. When the barriers and walls are being attacked they are expected to defend them until the strikers arrive. This is why their job is dangerous, the higher the beast's rank the greater the danger.
Rank 1-2: protect the barrier of Eden where the upper class resides. They are very skilled fighters and their strength is equivalent to the strength of rank 2-3 strikers. (4 spots)
Rank 3-4: protect the wall of Alexandra where the middle-class people reside. They aren't as skilled as the fighters of rank 1-2 but they can hold their own against the beasts. (6 spots)
Rank 5-6: protect the wall of Cataleya where the poor people reside. Out of all the walls, this is the weakest and for that reason, many defenders are stationed here. Members of this rank tend to be fresh out of the Academy. (unlimited spots)
Healers
There are a variety of healers each with its own role. They are vital to the success of missions.
Poison Specialists:
They are healers who spend years studying the anatomy of captured beasts to craft poisons that can kill them quickly or inhibit some of their abilities. They spend some of their time in the lab crafting new poisons, most of the time they are on the frontline utilizing their poisons. Because there may be cases where they are required to be on the frontline they have to have some sort of combat background. (3 spots)
Emergency Medicine Healers:
This is one of the most dangerous fields a healer can specialize in as they are required to be on the frontlines aiding injured strikers or scouts. Just like poison specialists they are also required to have some sort of combat skills.
Surgical Healers:
They do not spend any time on the front lines out of all the healing specialties this is one of the safest. After emergency medicine healers ensure that the person is stable enough they are transferred over to the surgical healers who complete the job.
Trainees:
They are healers who are fresh out of the academy and don't yet have a specialty. Those who wish to be poison specialists or emergency medicine healers will have to go on the frontline or remain in the lab and assists wherever they can. Those who wish to be surgical healers will train directly under a full-fledged surgical healer.
Scouts
This is by far the most dangerous job as they travel to uncharted territory to try and see what land they can reclaim for humanity. Scouts have one of the most important jobs and they normally travel in groups consisting of at least ten people.
The scouting group consists of:
Leader:
The leader of the group usually experienced, skilled with weapons, and is a combat specialist.
(1 spot)
Co-leader:
In case the leader is incapacitated they'll take the lead to ensure the mission is completed.
(1 spot)
Emergency Medicine Healers:
The scouting group has two emergency medicine healers that heal injured team members. (2 spots)
Scouts:
They follow the orders of the leader, they need to be agile, flexible, and able to adapt to different environments. (6 spots).
Trainees:
They are fresh out of the academy and have recently joined the group. (unlimited spots).
Rules:
This roleplay has enough roles so that everyone can take part in it, however, there some roles that have limited spots. For roles with limited spots I'll choose the character I think will fit the role best.
I will be roleplaying as most of the NPCs this included the monsters, teachers of the academy, the leader of S.O.H, the government, etc. If there is an NPC role you would like just message me and we can discuss it.
I expect everybody to be respectful of each other, I want this rp to be a fun space where we can all feel comfortable expressing ourselves.
No godmodding, you wouldn't like it if someone did it to you so don't do it to others.
Be active, I understand that life gets busy and we all have plans but it would be greatly appreciated if you can post once or twice a week.
If you are unable to post for a while please try to tell me beforehand.
I would like for each post to be at least 1 paragraph long.
When making characters please do not make them too overpowered, if I think your character is overpowered I will ask that you change it before I can accept the character.
You'll know if your character has been accepted if I like the post. All the characters that I plan to accept should all be accepted two days before the roleplay begins, so do not be alarmed if your character isn't immediately accepted.
I plan to begin the roleplay around the 30th or 1st of May (the date can be changed if people are unavailable).
You can make multiple characters but please note that not all your characters may be accepted. For limited roles like the 1-2 rank Strikers I'll be accepting the characters I think fit the role best.
If you are making multiple characters note that you cannot make more than one character per limited role. For example, if you want to make four characters and you want two of those characters to be strikers only one of those characters can be a 1-2 rank striker the other characters will have to be a striker of different ranks. Another example a person can have three characters who are all healers but out of all those characters only one can be a poison specialist, and the others will have to be an emergency medicine healer, a surgical healer, or trainee.
You will be able to make characters after the rp starts but there is no guarantee that there will be spots available for roles that have limited space.
I'll be making a discord for plotting, OOC talk, etc.
