  Emotionally reserved. Remi prefers to not speak about his emotions and he tends to bottle up them. He has this calm and reserved, some would say even cold, demeanor that he uses to hide his emotions behind. He rarely states his opinions and has difficulties disagreeing. If something bothers him he probably doesn’t say it out loud.
  
  Serious. Remi isn’t the most humorous person, in fact he’s quite serious. He doesn’t usually understand jokes and takes sarcasm literally. He tries his best to understand but usually he doesn’t. He has his own sense of humor but people don't usually understand it. He thinks it’s funny to say something absurd or obvious with a straight face. Despite his seriousness, Remi giggles quite easily, especially when drunk.
  
  Strict. Remi demands a lot both from himself and from others making him quite strict. He has strict criterias for people and if one doesn't fulfill his criterias, it's a good bye. He is a real perfectionist and he won't stop trying until he's satisfied with the result of his work. He’s accompanied by overly critical self-evaluations and concerns regarding others’ evaluations.
  
  Idealistic. Remi is idealistic to the point of being unrealistic. He sees the world with this rose-colored vision of what the world should be, ignoring all the negativity which makes him ignorant. It's hard for him to accept that the world isn't perfect. He wants to grow as a person and make the world a better place. He has a great sense of justice and he always tries to make the right decision, even if it has a negative outcome.
  
  Nurturing. Something that may come as a surprise is how helpful Remi is towards others. He is an older brother sort of figure. Even when he was a teen he was always the dad friend of her group, always worrying if his friends had eaten and drank enough water. He has a habit of carrying aspirin with him, in case of someone having a headache. He really loves taking care of others and often puts his own needs after the needs of others.
  
  Emotional. Remi is quite emotional and he tends to follow his emotions rather than his head. However he hates this feature about himself and would like to use his head more when making decisions. Whatever he feels it’s always a strong feeling. Small things are able to influence the state of his mind. It’s like a two bladed sword: Remi becomes easily happy but is able to feel negative emotions just as easily.

  first life

  A soul who faced constant struggle and misfortune. A soul who would pay a huge price for its willingness to live a comfortable life. At first it started its life in the 1700’s as the youngest child of a poor farmer family in the countryside of Edenhollow. The child, known by the name of William, was born as the eighth child.
  
  Life as the youngest child was not easy for William. Because of his small size he often got bullied by the older kids and was the one to be left out without food. He never got anything down, everything was always previously owned by the older siblings. The family already had financial difficulties and one extra mouth to feed didn’t help the situation at all.
  
  William’s parents really couldn’t raise one more child. Last stick was when the year’s harvest got wasted because of bad weather. The parents ended up solding him to a noble childless couple. The couple took care of William as their own son and they really cared for him. He was just like a real son to them and once he grew up he would inherit their wealth.
  
  William’s life was like a dream and he couldn’t even imagine anymore how his life had once been. And when it felt like everything was going perfectly, something unexpected happened: when William was five, his mother got pregnant and gave birth to a perfectly fine baby boy. She and her husband had kept trying for years and doctors had said it was impossible.
  
  William felt like he was being replaced by his new baby brother, he was no more needed in the family. It was clear they favored the brother, Louis, over him. It was clear William wouldn’t be the one to inherit. But that wasn’t his biggest worry: he was scared he would go back to his previous life.
  
  The older William became, the more envious and scared he became. This weird thought started to form in his mind: he needed to get rid of his baby brother. If he was an only child he surely wouldn’t be sent anywhere. So on one beautiful sunny day 15-year-old William and 10-year-old Louis went for a swim.
  
  Suddenly the flow of the water took the smaller boy with it. William was swimming towards his baby brother in an attempt to save him, when a sick thought popped up in his mind. Wasn’t this a perfect opportunity to get rid of him? So William let his brother drown, and swam back to the shore instead.
  
  For the rest of his life William suffered from huge guilt and awful nightmares. It got so bad he barely slept, and eventually took his own life.
  
  

  past lives

  In its first life the soul’s master made a huge sin, which forced the soul to live for centuries. During the following lifes the soul was born as different people of different genders in different time periods. But all the lives had something in common: the soul’s owners were never born with a silver spoon in their mouth.
  
  It was quite the opposite. The soul got to experience different births and deaths but what happened in between was always similar in a way. The soul would face misery no matter where it went. War, famine, poverty, abusive family members and backstabbing friends.
  
  Every occasion formed the soul, who just for once wanted to live a comfortable life. The soul started to gain an understanding of it’s reincarnation. It would suffer from horrifying nightmares in every life. Nightmares where it would repeat its sins time after time. For a long time the soul however didn’t do anything in order to end the cycle of reincarnations.
  
  

  current life

  Finally it was the 21th century and the soul was once again reborn. The soul was determined to make this the last life of the cycle of its endless reincarnations. The soul was born as a young orphan boy known by the name Remington Knight. He was born to a young couple who was unable to take care of him. Instead Remington was dropped in a local orphanage and the parents vanished.
  
  The orphanage had way too many children and not enough resources to take proper care of them all. Growing up Remi was a lot smaller than the other children and unable to stand up for himself. He often became a target for bullying and was usually the one to be left without food. Life felt like constant struggle, but luckily the boy was blessed with an optimistic attitude and determination to make his life better.
  
  The struggles of being bullied and such weren’t the only struggles Remi had to face. He had some internal struggles that took the form of nightmares. In the nightmares he would do various horrible things, but the worst thing was the familiar faces he saw every night in his dreams. They kept asking things like ‘why you did it’ or ‘do you regret it at all’. They were enough to keep Remi awake. Sometimes he even got these weird dreamlike deja vu’s when awake.
  
  Remi spent his whole childhood in the orphanage and he never got adopted. He was able to leave the place at the age of 18. His life never became super easy and comfortable, but he managed to get a small studio apartment and job as a bartender. His life was overall on point. However the older Remi got, the worse the nightmares became. He got to do something.
  
  He started his research: he spent days at the local libraries and nights at his apartment googling different topics that could help with the research. Remi found out about the town’s old beliefs about reincarnation. The more info he read about it, the more surer he became that he had reincarnated in the past and done something horrible. Remi started to talk about his experiences anonymously in different online forums and ended up finding people with similar experiences.
