Just to share; I’m currently going with an Alchemical of the Starmetal caste that is primarily a swordsman. Does anyone want to be the one to find me in stasis from the First Age and wake me up?

My current thought is to go with a Solar thief with a loose set of morals on the possession of other people’s stuff. Perhaps I broke into the spot where you were snoozing and you came to?

I am making great progress on my character, but I would like to know, just how set in one area are we? I have the idea of making my character an information broker with the Guild, running her operations from a tavern that I run. I have followers purchased to help out, but can we use the place as our base of operations, or do we travel too much?

I would want to somewhat do a grand tour of the South, but there are technically a lot to do in each major locations and usually won't be solved in one short story. You can have someone or a base operation in an area, if you want, due to training times, downtimes are basically inevitable and will happen. So it is quite possible for your circle to backtrack somewhere in between stories. Something worth considering in particular with the Guild, It's common for them to use caravans and the likes for transportation and do their businesses across the region.

I have a rough draft of my character up. I have a bit of work to do on her, but you can see what I have got going on right now.

I have most of my character done, just need to add my Background and Intimacies. Psychie , are we still going with the idea that you found me in stasis and revived me in this Age?

Yes. That is still good for me.

Also, I have a working draft of my Background up, but I'm still polishing my sheet. Protege and Sherwood let me know what you guys think of it, and if there are any issues with it.

It's nice but Lytek is the scribe of the chosen in 3e, while he is indeed the god of exaltation, he mostly just chronicles their deeds and has nothing to do with the exaltation process anymore. He sends reports to the Celestial Incarnae who he thinks might be good candidates but has no idea, if his reports influence their choice but is very happy when one of them become an exalted.

If you want to say Lytek sent an emergency report, and she was chosen is another way to do it. If you really want to involve Lytek of course or could just say UCS chose you.

Besides that, sure sounds good.

If you’d like, I can offer up some assistance. What kind of character were you thinking of playing? What speaks to you? A hard-hitting swordsman? A nimble archer? A nasty knife fighter? A heroic spell caster/sorcerer? Or are you interested in the diplomatic approach to a conflict? Or a sneaky spy?

Each one is easily accomplished in Exalted.

Definitely a classic Dawn, a more elegant and dextrous swordsman. I'm split between pure melee and maybe trying out Single Point Shining Into The Void.

I ahve Exalted 3, Dragonblooded, and Miracles of the Solar Exalted. need to make a char tho, and i'm not too familair with the combat rules for this edition
