Appearance: Sam is fairly tall, being just under 6 feet. He is fairly healthy in weight, although not particularly strong, and as such feels comfortable wearing a basic t-shirt and jeans the majority of the time. He keeps his light brown hair relatively short, making his not-particularly-striking blue eyes visible at all times.
Powers: Sam has the ability to turn into a sandwich. Complete with a clean plate and everything. And not just any sandwich - the best sandwich. In fact, it's so good, that just looking at it is enough to make it impossible to resist tasting it for most people. And once they've taken a bite, they will feel compelled to finish the whole sandwich - by any means necessary.
While in sandwich form, Sam is still totally conscious, although unable to move or speak. Once turned into a sandwich, he is unable to turn back into human form on his own. If the sandwich is destroyed, thrown away or otherwise removed fromhis its plate without being eaten, it will reappear on the plate after a few seconds. The plate itself exhibits a similar effect, reappearing on the nearest table or surface if broken or discarded. The only way to permanently destroy the sandwich is to fully eat and digest it. In this case, Sam will reappear in human form a few minutes later, and the leftover plate will lose it's special properties.
Weaknesses: There's apparently a word that will instantly turn Sam into sandwich form if he ever hears it. He refuses to tell anyone what it is, though.
Personality: Sam is largely resentful at his life, often questioning what kind of loving God would give him powers like these. He usually hides his eternal anguish with jokes and sarcastic comments. Apart from that, he's a pretty nice guy, if a little quiet around strangers.
Bio: Sam lived a fairly normal life for the first 15 years, untilhe was bitten by a radioactive sandwich his powers manifested. He first discovered them when he tried to eat a sandwich (that he made himself!), only to find that, in an ironic twist of fate, he had become the sandwich. He soon learned the secondary effects of his powers when his elder sister, despite being gluten-intolerant, walked into the room and proceeded to eat the sandwich, allowing him to return to human form. He was traumatized by the event, but his family - especially his mother, who worked in a sandwich shop - considered it a divine gift. As such, he was carted around the country, being fed to mutants and humans alike for several months. To this day, he is considered a delicacy in many mutant circles. In an attempt to escape this unwanted fame, Sam ran away from his parents, fleeing to the Academy in the hopes of finding a cure for what he considers a curse.
