    Name:
Jane (Same last name as Headmaster)
    Age:
    27
    Gender
    Female
    Mental Illness:
Not a patient so she is not currently diagnosed with any mental illness. However, she does seem to have an unhealthy obsession with books and denial towards the intentions of the asylum.
    History:
With her father as the headmaster, Jane spent most of her childhood in the asylum. As a child, she was very curious and explored many of the rooms, whether her father wanted her to or not. One day when she was exploring the medical wing, she witnessed a procedure gone wrong on a patient she had grown very much attached to. Through the eyes of a 7 year old child, it looked as if her father was sawing off the patient's head. After several sleepless nights, Jane was convinced by her father and others that she did not see such a heinous act. Simply the crazy imagination of a child against the backdrop of an experimental procedure in a final attempt to save the patient's life. Her father did admit, though, that while the treatment was the right one, the patient was too weak to survive it. After that, Jane did not visit the medical wing again, not even when she was appointed librarian. Jane believed that her patient friend was too weak to survive the procedure because she didn't have the library to give her strength, and so she made it her mission to give patients a place to feel alive and human. Despite the small budget, Jane worked hard to make the library as lovely and welcoming as the medical wing is dark and scary. Both are necessary, she believes, in the battle to finally cure a patient and set them free.

Elina Barbarose

Age:
23 y/o

Gender
Female

Mental Illness:
Pyromania, Histrionic personality disorder

History:
Elina was born on August 4th, 1998 in quite a disorderly home. Her mother was loving but tended to drink most nights while her father was a schizophrenic who spent his days in and out of hospitals. It wasn’t long after her birth when her parents split up, and Elina (along with her mother and four siblings) were on their own. It quickly went downhill, and by the time she was three years old her mother sent her to live with her oldest sibling Diana since they had become homeless. Diana was only 20 at the time and not at all ready to take care of a kid, but she did her best and loved Elina with her whole heart. As Elina grew older she became quite anxious and experienced multiple panic attacks every month. As a self soothing gesture she became obsessed with watching and lighting things on fire. It helped her immensely but grew out of control to the point she almost burned down the house. As if that wasn’t enough, the attention her accident had brought her made her feel better. She had seen her sister do things on purpose to get attention her whole life, and it felt quite validating to see people other than her family care for her and pay attention to her.

Unfortunately her sister had placed her in the asylum against her will when she was 22. Elina’s obsession with fire and her need to be seen became too much, so sending her there was the only good solution she saw. Elina has resided at the hospital for a year.

Damien Jump
Age:
25
Gender
Male
Mental Illness:
Borderline Personality Disorder, OCD, Manic Depression
History:
Seth grew up in a relatively normal home, with your standard issue mom and cookie cutter father. He went to a normal school, played soccer, and ran track. Friends were easy come, easy go, and he was popular in school thanks to his good looks. It made for a picture-perfect life, except when it wasn’t.

In senior year, his father had a psychotic break, stress induced they said. His mom had been cheating with the guy next door, and when his father found out, he snapped. In the middle of the night, with no warning, the sound of fighting broke out. The sounds escalated until Damien couldn’t wait any longer, he went to find out what was happening. In the front room stood their neighbor, Mr. Jackson. Next to him stood his father, Karl Jump, and his mother Susan Jump.

Within moments, hands were shoving bodies, screaming had reached its peak, and suddenly, shots were fired. The sound burst his ear drums, so loud was the noise. Damien almost lost all hearing. Sitting on the stairs, watching in horrified silence, he observed his father gathering the two bodies and dismembering them. When the morning came, and he saw his son sitting on the stairs watching, he said nothing, just walked past him.

Within a few months, his father had been arrested for the murders, but Damien had never been the same. When he hadn’t spoken after months of therapy, he was finally released to the state who put in the asylum. He’s been St. Teresa’s since he was seventeen, now accustom to how things work and how to stay under the radar.

Full Name: Ryan Thompson
Age: 34
Gender: Male
Mental Illness: Schizophrenia, PTSD, Dissociative Amnesia, Dissociative Identity Disorder
Location: Floor 3 Room 6
Family: Father: Unknown, Mother: Deceased

Likes: Drawing, music, getting lost in his own head, Having books read to him.
Dislikes: Complete silence, Doctors, Nurses, people getting too close to him, Reading, Ryan struggles with reading due to the voices in his head and the fact that he can't really read that well.
Past-Time Activity: Sitting in either his room or the library losing himself in his own mind.
historyRyan grew up in a generally normal home in a generally normal neighborhood, but it was clear while growing up something was never quiet right. For one, Ryan never knew his father so he grew up with only his mother. Secondly he didn't go to school, instead he was either self taught or schooled by his mother, which would be fine, only if his mother did leave for days at a time and basically barred him into the house. Because of this Ryan never made any actual friends growing up and instead he began making friends with the few toys he had and the people he made in his head. Even by ten years of age he had never met another soul except for his mother. When she would come home, she'd spend three or four days with Ryan clung to her hip. Reading him books, playing games, teaching him basic skills to survive and learn, to again leave for another five or six days, if not longer. It was a continuous cycle.

It wasn't till Ryan was fourteen that his mom had disappeared for about twelve-thirteen days, longer then she was gone before that Ryan's mind pulled him to the outside world. Unlocking the door he went outside to the scorching summer sun. After walking outside for a bit, walking in people's yards and down different streets. He was outside for maybe twenty minutes before a man in a grey uniform with a big badge on his shirt walked up to Ryan asking what he was doing.

Ryan though confused and scared began answering all the mans questions, explaining to him that he was looking for his mother who hadn't been home. The cop took Ryan to the station then to a hospital nearby where they questioned him more and more. At the end of the day Ryan was sat down in a room with a singular table and two chairs, a lady in a white uniform sat down across from Ryan, clipboard in hand.

As the woman began to speak, Ryan's eyes grew wider and wider till soon he had broken down into tears by her words. Even as he cried the lady finished reading her clipboard then got up and left, leaving the clipboard on the table. Ryan was later picked up by two men and taken to Saint Teresa's Asylum, where he has been since.

History: The Lady's Clipboard Notes
Name: Angela Thompson: Deceased
Gender: Female
Age: 42
Reason for Death: Car Crash

Officer Notes: The body of Angela Thompson was found twisted and mutilated at a large intersection car crash 6 years ago. Nine car pile up, her car was one at the front of the event. She was dead when paramedics arrived. There was nothing they can do to help her.

No reports we could find ever mentioned her ever having a child nor is there any birth record on file for him. None of Angela's friends or relatives knew about the child either. Apparently he was a huge secret she was somehow able to hide. The child's blood test did comes up positive as her child so we contacted the child's biological father. The father is not in the picture, didn't even know she had a child either and doesn't wish to be in the child's life as he has a family of his own now.

We sent a few officers to go and look over the abandoned house that the child was living at. Filthy from top to bottom and the walls were basically falling apart. Holes in the upstairs floors, no heating, running water, or lights. No clue how the kid survived in there for so long. There was trash, old food wrappers, bottles, and torn books everywhere. One room was half filled with old moldy stuffed animals, coats, blankets, and pillows, another had old toys and a scary sized pile of dead animals and animal bones in it. We can only guess that he's been digging in the two large dumpsters out behind the house for resources or catching animals for food. No clue how no one in that neighborhood hadn't noticed him till now.

Could put him in Foster Care but the psych evaluations done on the boy came up with some, strange and concerning results. Doctors were concerned with the boys physical health along with his mental state. One nurse expressed concern when the boy starting talking to the wall. Another nurse got scared when she quoted "The boys eyes went blank. It was like he was staring right through me. But his head moved, like he was watching something moving behind me". When questioned about it, the boy said it was "an old friend".

Kid also keeps saying he saw his mother like two weeks ago... but that isn't possible. She's been dead for SIX YEARS.

Should really be looked more into by a professional.
