Semblance: Siren's Call: Venus is able to manipulate any creature's mind by simply talking to them. This, of course, doesn't always work as effectively as she would like. Some enemies are just more resilient than others and are capable of resisting her voice.

Personality: Venus is a bit of a jerk. She loves tricking people with her Semblance and causing either blossoming romances or fiery feuds to begin. She's also manipulative. She was known for tricking boys into doing her homework or taking it easy on her while they're sparring. Venus does have a good heart buried underneath her snooty exterior. She's protective of her teammates and will hunt you down if you hurt their feelings in any way.

Body Modifications: Eyes -- Ginto underwent surgery to allow her eyes to tolerate the brightness of her semblance when used offensively. When directly exposed to a bright light, her eyes filter it immediately.

Defining Traits: Modified sunglasses. It's to keep her eyes from filtering the brightness and un-filtering it in quick succession.

Weapon Name: Suppresa
Weapon Type: Melee -- Extendable Baton
Dust Type: Lightning

Weapon Description: Suppresa is an extendable baton capable of emitting electricity when its trigger's pushed. When in its miniature form, the electricity is expelled from the tip of the baton. When fully extended, the electricity covers the full length except for the handle. The dust she uses is specially ordered, designed to fit the hollow area within the baton. She uses her aura to enhance the baton so it won't break. She also uses it in conjunction with her semblance.

Semblance: Solid Projection.

In battle, her baton is reinforced with a sharp edge or a blunt end depending on the situation. Instead of having her baton reinforced from the start of a fight, she’d summon it up in the middle of an attack, not only surprising her opponent with a bright light, but also with the reach of the blade. She removes her projection afterward so she could follow-up with the unexpected.

She has a trick she calls “Flash”, wherein she picks a small projectile, coats it with her semblance, throw the projectile, then explode it. There’s really no damage done except for the eyes exposed to the light. She uses it as a makeshift flashbang grenade, only without the ringing in the ears, but most definitely with the temporary blindness. It’s why she has sunglasses on, after all.

Another one of her nifty little tricks is “Shield”. With Ginto’s offensive type of combat, she usually has some close calls. During her time in Beacon, she found that she could call on a small shield that absorbs the force and explodes in a shower of light. She doesn’t like using it since her shield drains the equivalent amount of force absorbed. Then again, that usually only happens when in the heat of battle, and she has no other way of keeping herself alive or, at the very least, relatively unharmed.

Ginto could also form large walls and spiky grounds that covers a huge amount of space. Unfortunately for her, a fourth of her full aura pool is needed to form it. Maintaining it would drain her fully and make her vulnerable.

Outside of combat, she uses her semblance as a faux-telekinetic skill, forming a floating golden hand to pick stuff up. This makes it easier for her to literally multi-task, but if there are more than two hands doing different things, it gets confusing and needs her concentration. She finds it difficult to form shapes without anything solid to anchor her projection, so she counts this as her practice.

Personality:
The cold hatred and hot loathing she feels for the Grimm are still ever-present, only tempered by her times in Signal and Beacon. Instead of hurling all she has against the Grimm in one huge blow, her time in the Academies made her better, laying out careful traps and efficient, yet brutal, strikes. Her times in Signal was focused on a single goal: the death of Grimm. Her interaction with others was stilted, and she's only started to work on it when she was in Beacon. Ginto craves for meaningful and loyal relationships, be it platonic or romantic. She may seem cold and apathetic to others at first, but once you gain her trust, she'll be your staunchest ally and friend. One of the main reasons she remains quiet is because she’s a bit awkward when it comes to making conversation. The accompanying mean look is simply there to dissuade people from laughing at her faux-pas, though it doesn’t always work.

When her friendship and loyalty is acquired, however, take care to never betray her. No amount of affection or sympathy will be given to those who turn their back against her.

History:
Ginto was raised on Vale but outside its kingdom. She lived happily in a village consisting of Hunter families who preferred to be outside of the walls of Vale, being one with nature (and, in her later years, realizing how expensive living within the Kingdoms were). She had friends and, generally, had fun being a child with simple dreams. Unfortunately, tragedy struck.

Her parents promised her that if she did well in her classes and was a responsible child, they would unlock her aura so they can help her train early. When Ginto was eleven, her parents deemed that it was time. She was filled with excitement, wanting to follow in her parents’ footsteps. The day after the announcement, her parents made a show of hiking away from the village, saying that it was a necessary part of the ritual despite the fact that they were simply walking in circles.

The rites rang in her ear, the feeling of power suffusing her body. Yet, when she opened her eyes, hushed warnings welcomed her instead of warm praise. Her mother was talking to someone with her scroll while her father was keeping a lookout, his large slingshot loaded with explosives ready to be unleashed. Dropping the call, Ginto’s mother spoke the dreaded words of everyone in Remnant.

“The Grimm attacked.”

Everything exploded into motion as her parents ran towards the village to help evacuate those in danger. Ginto lagged behind slightly, never having seen this kind of side of her parents before. She helped with the evacuations, did as told, yet the worst happened. While retreating to safety, a large pack of Beowolves led by an Alpha blindsided them with their ambush. Her mother engaged the pack without hesitation, while her father followed to assist.

Ginto was left behind, torn between helping her parents and wanting to escape. The decision was made for her when one of her neighbors dragged her away, hauling her on his shoulder as they ran. The last memory she has of her parents were their backs, where they were slowly swallowed up by the unrelenting Grimm.

She didn’t remember much of what happened after. In fact, when she came to, she was safe within the walls of Vale and was enrolled in Signal Academy, her time in Vale's orphanage an indescribable blur. While hatred and loathing fuelled her to be the best that she could in the Academy, Ginto made a promise to herself. She would never let herself feel so useless ever again. She would not leave behind those that she cares for. And she would not let herself get left behind.

Weapon Description: A set of basic, kunai style daggers. They are all made from dense metal, cast into the same century old mold by Serise herself. The mold itself was purchased by her mother decades earlier, and given to her as a gift on her 15th birthday. A soft fabric is wrapped around the handle, and a ribbon is tied around the pommel. Aside from being durable and easily made, the daggers have but one special quality: a slot for raw dust crystals. Although there is nothing preventing any specific kind of dust from being used, a natural mixture of fire and wind dust has the most useful effect on the daggers and their use.

Semblance: Feupaume, a manifestation of aura for primary use in melee combat. Feupaume is an name given affectionately, as Serise personified her semblance at a young age. Feupaume is a natural blaze that burns bright, but warm. The blaze jumps from Serise's right palm on impact during a punch. It's incapable of starting anything on fire, and incapable of leaving burns. The blaze jumps through its victim, lasting but an instant. It stings like a bee's bite during its journey through the victim's body, leaving an uncomfortable feeling behind. Feupaume can be summoned for warmth or comfort on command, though it only does any damage on activation. It's harmless outside of combat.
Personal
Personality: Serise has a very independant mindset. She likes straying from the crowd, acting on her own and trying to stand out. That being said, she has a soft spot for people who can't fight for themselves. She helps as much as any other huntress, though you wouldn't expect it from her. She tends to 'learn' from her mistakes in a destructive manner; she beats herself up over small things. Although Serise enjoys working alone, she knows when to accept help, and understands that company isn't the worst thing in the world.

History: Serise was raised in Mistral, born to two poor parents. She was an accident, and her parents couldn't afford to raise her right. Despite this, Serise never got put up for adoption. Her parents loved her like any parent loves their child. As she grew, Serise and her parents became close friends. She was even put into a proper school, albeit a little late into her life. She was quick to adapt to schooling, and worked hard to keep good grades. She made friends with the popular crowd, and was on the fast-track to valedictorian.

That was when she got a letter from Atlas, at the age of 16. She was selected for a prestigious combat class at Atlas Academy. Her parents spent their remaining life's savings on sending Serise to Atlas, where she finished her schooling as fifth in her class. To this day, she regrets giving up her life for a better education. Nonetheless, she didn't let the fancier school change her. She remained the wild child her parents raised, and was hellbent on being the new hero of Remnant. Her life ran job-to-job, kingdom-to-kingdom. She works as a freelance huntress for the entirety of Remnant.

Weapon Description:
The Final Words is a mechanized longbow that has a length of 5 feet. At full draw, the Final Words has a maximum range of 300 meters. An arrow fired at full has enough power to punch through steel and concrete, though its speed and power will fall once it breaks through. Arrows fired from the Final Words are imbue with wind and lightning dust, improving its speed and sharpness.

With a flip of a switch, blades will appear on the bows limbs, allowing it to be used as a melee weapon. The bow can also be split in half, allowing it to be wielded like dual swords. The blades can also be combined into a single long sword, its length increasing two fold.

Semblance: Phantom Quiver - Narissa is able to create arrows from her aura, effectively granting her an unlimited amount of ammunition. Each arrows are 30 inches long, just the right size for her longbow. Due to it being made from aura, her arrows fly straight and is unaffected by gravity and wind. The downside is that, due to it being created from her aura, her defenses are lower than other Hunters and Huntresses since her aura is being consumed as ammunition.

Personal
Personality: Narissa is a perfectionist and is a neat freak. She hates it when things are out of their place or when her surroundings are messy and chaotic. She can be a bit overbearing, and highly annoying, due to this, but she certainly means well. She is a good person at heart and is actually quite nice and friendly, if you can get past her snooty and overbearing upper layer. She one of those friends that fusses over your appearance and always has a comb on her to fix her friend's messy appearance.

History: Narissa is from a fairly wealthy family in Atlas, her parents being one of the biggest Dust distributors in Atlas. Narissa grew up in comfort and luxury, which she is very much thankful for. Narissa fell in love with archery at a young age, seeing it as an act of beauty and elegance. All in all, Narissa had a privileged, if somewhat sheltered, childhood.

When she came of age, Narissa enrolled in the Atlas Academy in order to become a huntress. After an accident during one of her earliest missions, Narissa underwent surgery to add cybernetic implant in her eyes in order to improve her performance and to avoid another mistake that may cost her her life.

Red Havoc is a two part weapon. The first part is the sword which uses dust cartridges to form its blade. The color of the blade corresponds with the type of dust. The second part is the hilt that can change into a pistol the fires armor piercing bullets.
Semblance: Crimson's semblance is called "Shadow Bend", which allows him to control nearby SHADOWS. If there are no shadows his semblance is rendered useless. Crimson is able to travel through shadows and create constructs out of them as well. Crimson's semblance doesn't allow him to travel through nor control other human beings shadows.

Personal

Personality: Crimson is a blunt, rude, snarky, yet calm, nonchalant, and skilled. He’s known to be a functioning alcoholic. There’s only a slim chance that Crimson, won’t have a flask filled with liquor inside on him. He holds little to nor respect for the Atlas military and their ways. At times Crim can be a bit cocky, even when the odds are against him. Crimson’s rude and alcoholic image hides his true self which is a skilled huntsmen who strives for peace.

History: Crimson grew up within the lower levels of Mistral. He grew up around, thieves, assassins, and other unsavory individuals. He’s time he spent there was spent training by those very unsavory people. Their goal was to forge the young Crimson into what they are in order for him to join them when he becomes older and that he did. At the age of 9 Crimson joined the thieves and used his semblance to sneak into the homes within the upper levels. For years Crimson pulled of thieving jobs, increasing his control over his semblance and his skills in fighting. One day Crimson and other thieves snuck into the house of a huntress. Little did he know that decision changed his life forever.

Moments after entering the home, they were noticed and the huntress retaliated. The elder thieves she made quick work of but when it came to Crimson she was surprised in his skills for a simple 10yr old. After she finally caught him, she gave him two choices. To go to jail with the others, or stay with her and train to become a huntsmen. Crimson never really had the desire to be a huntsmen, but she made it sound very convincing with her soothing motherly voice, something Crimson hasn’t heard since his mother died. So of course he chose to stay and he trained. He skills increased but his manors could still use some work. After years of training he enrolled within the academy and graduate within the top 5.

Weapon Name: Diplomacy
Weapon Type: Melee and short range.

Weapon Description: Diplomacy is a set of two handaxes. The bottom of the haft is attached to 8ft long metal chains which are then attached to and spun around devices on his forearms. These devices are able to pull the chains and thus, the weapons, back to them. This allows him to effectively throw the weapons, without having to worry about retrieving him and also to swing them at a much longer range than normal.
Semblance: Sticky Fingers - Using his aura, he can cause his hands to be outlined by a dull auburn color. This, as the name suggests, makes his hands extremely sticky until either his aura is competent drained, or he ends the effect.

Personal
Personality: For the majority of his life, Auburn was an angry, bitter person. A racist who would do what he wanted and take what he wanted - he thought the world owed him.

He likes to think he's gotten a lot better since then. Though he is still a very free-spirited individual, he does his best to channel that in a more positive way than he used to. He is quite independent and feeling as if he has no control over a situation frustrates him immensely. However, he is, of course, no stranger to working with a group and considers himself a good team player. He despises racism in any form and greatly regrets his time spent in the White Fang.

History:
Auburn's story starts first with his mother, Jade Folcey's. After divorcing his half-brother's father, she settled down by herself in a small, predominately Faunus village on the outskirts of Vacuo. It was there she was taken prisoner by a group of human slavers one night alongside many of the population and dragged off to their slave pens. One of her captors, Russet Ieovos, a human male of some wealth began to take a disturbing, almost obsessive interest in her. Though his mother protested, Russet purchased her from the slavers and dragged her away from her duties in the mines she had been sentenced to, to his home in Atlas. She had hoped that it would at least be a chance for some freedom, despite how disgusting his advances toward her were. Jade quickly found she was all but imprisoned again, only in a slightly nicer environment. She was only allowed out of her room on Russet's behest. Somewhat ironically, she preferred being locked up to those horrible experiences.

Eventually, Lana gave birth to Auburn, with no celebration on her end. She had never loved Russet - and what he felt for her probably wouldn't be called love either - and was not thrilled to have given birth to his child. Jade rarely got to see the child, after all, she was still a Faunus and in the eyes of the people around her, unfit to even raise her own child. As Auburn grew, he often snuck away to visit his mother, looking for the parental love his tutors and father did not give him. She began to turn him against his father and Humans as a whole, teaching him to hate them and that they were despicable creatures. Auburn, for the most part, agreed. He had witnessed first hand the evils of the humans around him - the only care he had been shown was from his faunus mother and Auburn was easily swayed to her side. Jade, in her time as a slave, had become quite angry and hateful towards humans as a whole, though in other ways she was still a good influence on him. She taught him to be a good person, to be kind and caring and to be better than his human heritage.

Auburn, growing increasingly spiteful of his father and his half-kin and wanting to help his mistreated mother, began sneaking out of the house quite regularly, it was during this time that he picked up some of the skills he'd use later in life.

Eventually, he and his mother devised a plan to escape. It did not go perfectly, though he was able to flee the city, his mother was caught on the way out and dragged back to his father's home. Auburn, with tears in his eyes, left the city behind, though he promised to return when he was strong enough and free his mother.

Unsure of where to go from there and more angry with humans than ever, he turned to the White Fang after a few months of barely scraping by on the streets. Auburn was eager to bring retribution to the humans and frequently joined the more violent activities of the Fang. After some time, during a particularly violent event orchestrated by the White Fang, Auburn was badly injured. Though he was able to limp away from the fight and avoid capture by the authorities, he eventually succumbed to his wounds and fell unconscious on the ground of some alleyway. The next day, he awoke in an unfamiliar place surrounded by unfamiliar people.

They informed him that they were Huntsman and Huntresses in training. After some bonding together and a lot of convincing, he was persuaded to occasionally accompany them for sessions of combat training and other, more social events. Though Auburn eventually became quite close with the group, he considered the only other faunus in it to be his closest friend. He spoke often with him, discussing his dislike of humans and the general relationship between humans and faunus, ultimately ending with him ridding himself of his racism towards them.

Some time later, after honing his skills in combat and straightening himself out as a person, he applied to and eventually graduated from Haven Academy.

His time after that was mostly spent attempting to find his mother. Unfortunately, complications arose very quickly. He paid a visit to his old home and quickly found out that his father no longer resided there. Since then, he has been trying to dig up information on his father and the group of slave traders he associated with. So far, he has found practically nothing that would lead him to his mother or help him bring his Russet and his colleagues to justice. Auburn has yet to give up hope, though he has come to accept the fact that he may never see his mother again and has begun to spend a lot less time attempting to find her.

Weapon Name: Grauis magna
Weapon Type: Long and short ranged
Dust Type: Wind and Fire
Weapon Description: Grauis Magna is a guitar with two razor sharp blades going down the end of it. This makes the guitar function and look like a double sided axe allowing Tanner both up close combat and the ability to play his music. Grauis Magna also possesses a secondary form which turns it into a rapid firing, but highly inaccurate tommy gun.
Semblance:
Let's Rave: Tanner's semblance allows him to grant stat boost to either himself or to a teammate once Tanner plays a certain set of notes on an instrument. Tanner can only grant these said stat boost to other people if they are willingly to accept it as he can not force the usage of his semblance on just anyone. While at a first glance these stat boost seem rather useful but unfortunately comes at the cost of having another stat lowered. Because of this he was to perfectly time and choose which boost would be perfect for certain situations. These stat boost at max can only be raised by two times their original value (EX: If you could only lift 100 pounds then with the strength boost you can now lift 200 but now are much slower in the process) meanwhile another stat will be halved in the process.

Tanner's stat manipulation ability is based around the three basic attributes of speed, durability, and strength. Stats like endurance, stamina,and etc are not effected in anyway making Tanner's semblance only fully useful if he knows his team. Granting speed to someone who possesses low stamina or giving someone durability while they have really low endurance would be great examples of a bad use of his semblance. Another limitation to this is that he can not remove or switch to a different boost until a total of ten seconds have passed in the meantime.

Now to firmly explain which stats effect which after a specific boost Tanner often explains it in a very simply but understanding way.

Tanner is a cheerful, outgoing, and sometimes obnoxious guy who has a great passion for music and Grimm hunting. While Tanner scored extraordinary on his test back at the academies his common sense severely lacks often leading him into bad situations with both friend and for. Tanner loves to portray himself as a hero of justice often making cheesy speeches he got from his comic books to make himself look heroic and to spread courage through his allies.

Tanner is kind hearted and often tries to find the best in everyone even if certain people have followed down dark paths. He is also a strong believer that words are more effective then violence and will often try to use words to settle a dispute. This often leads to conflict with his own allies as he will also try to settle fights that do not concern him.

History:

Tanner is what one would consider a celebrity baby due to his appearance on commercials, performing alongside his parents at concerts, and even voice acting for little cartoon shows when he wasn't performing onstage. Tanner is a back up vocalists and upcoming guitarists in his parents worldwide famous band in which in Tanner's words has the absolute worse name ever. Because it is indeed a family band they gave it the name "The Sterlings" which often has Tanner cringing at the name from time to time whenever someone mentions it. Because of his lifestyle Tanner didn't make too many long lasting friendships as he was always on the move making it extremely hard to actually create a bond with anyone he wasn't performing with. While Tanner was happy and pretty much got everything he could have wanted there was something missing in his life that left a hole in his chest that could only be filled by a different kind of excitement. Ever since he was little kid he would often find himself sucked into the world of fantasy as he would be constantly be reading different kinds of action comics and novels. The thrill from the adventures these nonexistent characters went on had always intrigued Tanner to the point where he would even dress up as these same heroes just for fun. He never told his parents how he actually felt about taking over the band as he wanted to do something completely different as his true dream was to become a hunter. He had even already unlocked his semblance while practicing with his parents so he believed that he was already fit to be a hunter despite their other standards, but being of a lifestyle where everything was handed to you would often result in overconfidence and a lack of practice.

Eventually, he confronted his parents about the ongoing issue on his fourteenth birthday as he begged his parents to allow him to attend one of the academies. His parents were at first against the very thought of their son joining a profession that could lead to him being seriously injured, but their sons constant begging eventually got the best of them. Excited to start his new life he found that going from a simple life such as entertainment to something like becoming a hunter was way more difficult then he ever would have thought. Physically he was the lowest in his class and his combat skills were utter garbage compared to his fellow peers even with his semblance ability. While book smart he wasn't exactly a genius in common sense and situational awareness which led to an incident when he accidentally set himself on fire after knocking over some red dust. Even though this is what he had wanted Tanner was almost about to just give it up as the life as a hunter was too much for his entertainment lifestyle. In fact, even his own teachers explained that it would probably be best if he dropped out to prevent a fatal outcome of any circumstance. Tanner even thought about quitting and was prepared to fill out the paperwork to have him removed from the academy until he found an old book he used to read while packing up all his stuff. The story itself reminded him of himself only the main protagonist came from nothing while he had everything handed to him. He read the story once more realizing how hard the protagonist had worked to overcome all his weaknesses and faults. Tanner knew that he wasn't going to be handed the title of Hunter just because he wanted it and that it would take some serious overtime on his training if he was going to make it through his academy. After that night Tanner began to push his body's limits everyday to where he couldn't even move due to how sore he was. He ran till he couldn't breathe and lifted until he couldn't feel his muscles anymore. Tanner even found himself actually gaining a distinct appearance change after his first month of heavy training which caught the attention of his peers and teachers. Tanner continued training himself everyday until he body felt as if it was going to break, but for some reason Tanner no longer found the pain unbearable, but actually found it quite exhilarating instead. Tanner was of course no where the top of his class, but after a few months of hard training he found himself no longer at the bottom and was performing above the usual standards for sparring sessions.

Tanner graduated from signal and even moved across the world so that he could attend Atlas Academy where he was thought immense knowledge about dust and teamwork. Tanner studied every night making up cool combinations and team moves which earned him the title of the team strategist. He often took notes on not only the Grimm and his rivals, but his own partners as well learning their strengths and weaknesses to develop way more cunning strategies. After graduating as one of the top students in Atlas he began his life as a full fledged Hunter in hopes of becoming a symbol of hope just like the story book characters he read when he was just a boy.

Weapon Description:

Fenrir is a small black tomahawk that can easily transform into a one handed shotgun. Charles uses this weapon not only for it's incredible versatility, but for it's ability to control the opponents movements through grappling. The alternate shotgun mode is useful not only for ranged combat, but also for propulsion when you need a little kick in your step.
Jormungandr is a small twelve inch knife with a thin yet very strong cable attached to the hilt. The other end of the cable is connected to a reel on a gauntlet that goes halfway down the forearm and doesn't cover the fingers. This can be used not only as a melee weapon but to retrieve far away objects or more often than not, to propel him swiftly and decisively.

Charles is able to sense his surroundings using his aura. This allows him to not only be keenly aware of exactly where and what he's doing at all times, but also makes it harder for surprises to pop up. It also allows him to essentially see through walls. However, this does interfere with electronics. Anytime he needs to drive a car, call someone, or even use a microwave he needs to turn off his semblance, which can be uncomfortable to do, like wearing shoes that are three sizes to small. The ability is also not absolute. It's like using a searchlight rather than a radar. It's always pointing a certain direction allowing things to slip by.

Personality: Charles can be a bit difficult to work with. He can be severely blunt although not entirely honest, despite having a knack for exposing secrets. His extreme paranoia only matched by his sarcasm made him a hard candidate for huntsman. While these seemed to be large obstacles in the trials he faced at Atlas Academy he eventually overcame them through his own severe scrutiny. During his time there he developed a sense of comradely he'd never known before. Once he took that oath of protection he might not have changed, but simply been added to. He was more caring, and more protective. He felt an obligation to people, because if he wouldn't watch over them, who would?

History:
Charles was born in a small shack in the woods. He was raised on fishing and hunting for himself and his small family of five. Every other week it was him, his dad, and his sister stalking through the woods, looking for their next meal. It was a hard life, but a simple one. A life that you could enjoy without the hassle other people tend to bring with them. But like everything in this world, walls can only hold so long against grimm.
A particularly cold Autumn day left the hunt barren and their rations as exhausted as their feet. It didn't matter how much food they had that day. They came home to see claw marks as large as boats marking the walls of the cabin. The father was frantic searching for his missing family. They had to be somewhere, anywhere. They were. When Mr. Darragh found the cellar doors folded in he couldn't stop his legs as he strode down into the broken bunker. A women with a kid wrapped in her arms laid beaten in the corner, covered broken jars that used to be the little food they had stored for the long winter.
They didn't have much of a funeral. It was a burial of a body to keep the grimm from doing further damage. Their mother was already gone. With how much they'd lost, they had no choice but to head east to Vale. At the very least they needed to somehow resupply for winter.
They started the long trek, but along the way constant attack from grimm kept them at bay. The father was the first to go. Then his sister. The only reason Charles seemed to be able to avoid them, was by somehow... anticipating them. He could feel where they were. He knew where to hide. He even had a close call with a beowulf, somehow managing to cut it down with faltering strength and a small hunting knife. After three long months of eating squirrels and berries he finally arrived at Vale. A faint knock on the first door he saw was all he could muster before collapsing on the porch. The family that lived there gladly rushed him to the hospital. With the kid barely able to speak while he was suffering from starvation and cold, they were able to find out he was obviously from the woods. When they asked how he survived the grim, he simply stated that he could see them.
A few weeks in intensive care and barely a word out of him made him an adequate applicant for foster care. He only spent a year there before a passing soldier from atlas caught wind of rumors circling a strange could he mysteriously appeared from the woods years ago. While he was already recruiting huntsmen for the academy he decided to pay the foster home a visit. He found Charles beating the crap out of another kid. The fight was stopped, and while both of the caretakers assured him he was nothing but trouble, the recruiter saw something in them. He was hastily interviewed and sent to Atlas academy to be trained as a huntsman. There he learned how to be part of something again, no matter how much he disliked the notion. Soon he graduated and left to watch and protect.
