SMALLB.png RULES
Please go over the rules written out here. While many of them are basic roleplay etiquette and common sense, they are listed so all players know what is and isn't acceptable. When you decide to join this roleplay, you are agreeing that you have read, understood, and agree to adhere to them. If you are found violating or ignoring the rules, you risk being removed.

Click to expand a rule section.
Roleplay Etiquette
Absolutely no metagaming, godmodding, autohitting, or powerplay. Please ask if you are unsure what these terms mean.
Activity
Be active. Activity is important for any roleplay.
  • Players should post once per week as the round (should) reset around every week.
  • Players should notify the GM if they are going to be unavailable or wish to leave the roleplay.
  • Players who take too long to post will be skipped over.
  • Players that vanish risk their character being removed and be removed from the roleplay (with little chance of being allowed to return).
  • Schrodinger's Player is in effect.
    • Basically, to save on everyone's sanity should a player vanish during a mission it is continued as they are both there and not rather than trying to write a valid reason for characters flickering in and out of the mission.
Posting
Posts should be understandable and readable.

Posts are important and progress the roleplay, as such please type the best posts that you are capable of. Your posts need to have content that allows other members to respond or write some sort of interaction. Posts should try and do the following:
  • Avoid one-liners. One-liners are not acceptable for any reason.
  • Avoid complex BBCoding as mobile users would probably like to be able to read your posts.
  • Third person past tense is preferred.
  • There are a few additional things you should included in all your posts. These help avoid interaction confusion.
    • Your character’s name.
    • Tagging who your character is interacting with.
    • Your location.
  • Mission Post Rounds/Order
    • Mission posts are completed in 'rounds'. Each new round is started by the GM's post and players may only post once per round. There is no posting order for players within a round.
    • Example: GM > player 1 > player 2 > player 3 > GM > player 2 > player 1 > player 3
Vampire Creation
Vampire creation is restricted.
Due to the nature of vampire creation, it will be made clear here that PCs may not turn other PCs into vampires, except if:
  • The PC is a Mundane.
  • The owner of the mundane PC openly states they wish to have their character turned into a vampire.
REMEMBER
All RPNation rules apply.

Discord isn't required, but highly suggested. You can join the server with this link; Discord Server

Ranking System
SMALLB.png RANKING
Levels and experience are now gone. Instead a ranking system is now in place. This ranking system is to give characters a chance to improve their characters over the duration of the roleplay and missions. How a character advances in ranking is determined through personal story arcs, player participation, and so forth. This ranking system is based on the F D C B A S SS SSS system you find most commonly in Japanese and Korean games.

Characters can over time reach higher ranks and therefore get more abilities.

You'll notice this information on your character badge; a letter ranking and a number ranking. The letter ranking determines your characters total ability amount which you can place in whichever section (physical or magical) you wish. This means you can have a character who can either be more magic focused, physically focused, or balanced. The number ranking determines your rank among your player peers, meaning should a character take on a leadership role their rank would be higher than others.

A character with a higher ranking doesn't have to take a leadership position, but if something happens to the group leader or there is a disagreement, a character can essentially "pull rank". 0 is the highest rank and 10 is the lowest rank.

Letter Ranking

RankAbilities
FTwo total
DFour total
CSix total
BEight total
ATen total
A +Twelve total
S -Fourteen total
SFifteen total
S +Sixteen total
SSSeventeen total
SS +Eighteen total
SSSNineteen total
SSS +Twenty total

Rewards
SMALLB.png REWARDS
There is a reward system in place for dedicated and continuing players within SMITED. Here you will find the types of rewards and outlines of how they are obtained.

Higher Rank + More skills
In order to increase in a rank, players must at least successfully complete two-three missions. Failure of a mission objective will not be rewarded! Additionally, only players who have posted at least 70% of the missions duration will be eligible to be marked for a successful mission. This means players who start a mission but are absent for most of it will not benefit automatically from the progress made by other players.

Additional Characters
The requirement for this reward is the same as for the Higher Rank + More skills; two-three successful missions and post activity being at least 70% active for the duration of the mission. There will only be an allowance for one additional character, meaning the max number of characters a player can have would be two.

Additionally there are restrictions in place.
  • Only one character per player per mission.
    • This means that you cannot have two characters in a single mission.
  • You can only advance one character at a time.
    • If you constantly swap characters it will take that much longer to increase their rank and get more skills.
    • Each character has to meet the required successful mission and post activity in order to gain rewards.
  • If you decide to kill off a character to try and gain a new one when you have two, you will still have to work to gain another secondary character.
    • Basically you can't just kill off a character and instantly replace them with a new one.

Two-Three Missions Requirement
Why there is a two-three mission requirement based on how long a mission is? If agents endure and get through longer missions they will not have to do three long missions, only two. But if they do shorter missions they will have to complete three.

Length of a mission is based on when the first post of the thread for the mission. What counts as long and short depends on the missions compared to each other. For example a mission that goes one for six months and then a mission that goes on for three months would be one long one short. Basically it's subjective based on previous completed missions where there is a planned average to be generated based on completed missions. Anything over average is long another under is short.
