  Anita is a true royal. She is the oldest daughter of the Spanish King and, therefore, the successor to the throne. She has developed a sense of duty but on the other hand, she still feels there are many things in life she needs to experience. Her open attitude is both a blessing and a curse. Her mouth has gotten her to trouble several times and it didn't help that she was her royal highness princess Anita. She is very sociable, attends a lot of parties with her peers and loves underground clubs where she can disappear in the crowd and no one really deals with having a princess in their midst.
  
  There are two sides to her personality, one is the official princess part, where she is on her best behavior, very meek, gentle, smiles a lot, knows what to do, what to say and nods to everything, keeps a polite conversation, basically everything that is expected of the future ruler of the country. But the other side is the real Anita. She hates being bored and if something is not up to her standard or liking, she is not afraid to say it out loud. Despite being born with a silver spoon, she is not spoiled or entitled. All she wants is to be free, enjoy life and have fun before she has to take over the crown.   Anita is the first-born daughter of the Spanish king Cristiano II. Ever since her early childhood, she has been taught how to behave, what to say, what was right and wrong and her parents and tutors were trying to mold a perfect daughter. And it looked like they were successful. At least at the beginning. But the girl was not stupid, she saw that her parents were missing in her life since only nannies and tutors and servants passed her around their home. As a child, she never really gave it a lot of importance but the older she got, the more it bothered her. Anita’s role was easy. She had to look nice, smile, appear at the social events and follow all the rules. But once she hit the teenage years, she was not keen on abiding to the rules anymore.
  
  She was supposed to stay inside the royal family and every time she went out, she was supposed to use her security detail. But of course, Anita wanted to experience life at its best so she was sneaking out on her own, visiting clubs and bars, at first in disguise and then openly, in her won words, not giving two shits about it. That’s when the press started to notice her more and her father insisted on her taking a bodyguard every time she went out. After a heated conversation, Anita had to agree but under the condition of choosing the man herself. He was supposed to blend in so she chose a man close her own age. After some time, they seemed to grow too close to each other and her father fired him. That was Anita’s trigger and the real party princess was born.
  
  Not having any special bond with her parents, only the formal relationship, Anita went on her party tour and made the front page of newspapers almost once a week. There were many excesses but she always made sure she was never seen doing anything considered either inappropriate or, god forbid, illegal. Though she did all that stuff very well. Until the day when her picture from a private room of the most prestigious club in Madrid made its appearance during one of the state dinners…
  
  During the state dinner, a picture of Anita appeared. She had no idea there were photographers in that room when she tested the white powder for the first time. She didn't even like it and it truly was her first and also the last time, but the photo was taken and the future leader of Spain was captured snorting cocaine. It was even bigger scandal since her mother is a face of anti-drug campaign.
  
  After this, Anita became even more cautious of her private life. She has several strikes for driving under influence (alcohol) but always managed to get out of it because of her status) and then there is that bodyguard of hers. She let her father believe that they only gotten close but they actually got involved in a brief but very passionate affair.
  
  She has established the rebellious image in the tabloids since she has always troubles to subdue. Her private life became heavily monitored and the reporters were like vultures, trying to snatch a piece for their most recent story. However, when it comes to official events, she has a reputation of a perfect daughter. It seems as if two people were living in her body. But then, despite her free-spirited nature, Anita knows what's important and would never dare to overstep the boundaries during the social season. Aside from her partying lifestyle, people see Anita as cheerful and optimistic young woman. One would think they would condemn her for her free time activities but the popular opinion is that the princess needs to go through this turbulent period in order to become a responsible and reliable ruler. She doesn't like to let people get close to her, because she thinks they'll just stick around for the dirty laundry and then run with it. She's afraid of being thrown under the bus, and she also fears being disliked. Sometimes she tries too hard to be liked, mostly because she didn't get that sense of love and belonging at home growing up. Her siblings were too busy for her, and her parents... well, they kept busy, too. She was practically raised by nannies, multiple ones because one never stuck around longer than a few months at a time it seemed. She wasn't an evil child, she just wasn't getting the attention she needed from her parents.
  
  She lacks social graces at times. Though she was taught them in lessons, she also became a bit of a wild one during her late teen years and just threw all of that out of the window. She never expected to lose both of her siblings, especially not at one time, and become the main runner for ruling Russia. She curses alot, especially at inappropriate times, both in English and Russian. She also knows German, thanks to the private lessons she had growing up. Languages seem to come to her easily, though knowing what fork to use at the dinner table does not. Impulsive and impatient, she's got a bit of a control streak where if she doesn't like the way something is done, she'll just do it herself.

  Kiravera-- who prefers to go by just Kira-- was born third in the Morozov family. She was never meant to rule, but was a princess by birthright just the same. Her oldest sibling was her brother Alexei, followed by her sister Nina. Both of them were at least seven years older than Kira. In fact, Kira took her parents completely by surprise, because the doctors had informed Kira's mother that after Nina, she wouldn't have any more kids. But the fact of the matter was, she could very well have children. Kira was the product of an affair, a dirty mess that was quickly brought into the publics eye.
  
  Kira grew up being stared at and talked about, only for the longest time, she didn't know why. She was sheltered at their family homes, either not allowed to travel with her siblings or made to travel in separate accommodations. This was something she asked about frequently as a child, but her nannies would always shush her and just tell her that she'd understand when she got older. But she did grow older, and she didn't understand. She wanted the same attention from their parents that Alexei and Nina got. She wanted to prove to her parents that she was worthy of the same adoration.
  
  

  teenage years

  Since crying or begging for their attention didn't work, Kira started acting out. At first it was small things-- not showing up for dinner, or not wearing the outfits provided for her. As she grew older, her attention seeking actions only grew. She was caught at the age of seventeen in a bar, dancing for money while using a fake ID to get drinks since the legal age of drinking there is mostly eighteen. She was taken from the bar by the police, forced to spend the night there before her mother picked her up the next day.
  
  

  entering adulthood

  This act of rebellion only seemed to make her parents-- especially her father-- dislike her more. No one saw the accident coming, the one that took both of her older siblings lives. Since Kira never traveled with them, she was spared. The only problem now is that she is the one in line to rule, only she is not ready, and neither are her parents. She never stopped acting out, and she sure as hell wasn't going to magically turn into the proper heir her parents so badly needed and wanted her to be. So they sent her to the convention, only she has no clue what's in store for her there.

The electricity never came on long enough for the TV to switch channels, the screen flashing a chubby Teletubby face, shutting off just as quickly before her little sister to scrounge up the remote from between the seats of the old, stained couch.

  They had arrived in a large, rowdy group, the letters "V.O.P" slashed in white paint across the backs of their jackets. Her co-worker had wiped the table, trying not to stare at them, knocking over a bottle of salt before a toffee-skinned girl broke from the group, making her way to the counter.
  
  "6 Big Macs, a couple 10 piece chicken nuggets, 3 large fries."
  
  Her name was Aleisha. She had stared at her, chewed on her lip as Kwan typed in her order.
  
  "So what're your thoughts on the income tax?"
  
  That's what had started it. Kwan had poured out her pains, her hatred for the monarchy. It was unfair how they sucked money from her pockets, money she needed to pay the bills with and to put food on the table, money they used to feed their lavish lifestyles and spoil their children under the facade of helping the people.
  
  She had joined that weekend. Put on a jacket, got to paint the "V.O.P" herself. She was one of them, another voice for the Voice of the People, the largest, most connected pro-democracy group in the world.

  Kwan has been always been very reserved. Both calm, and somewhat stoic, she rarely betrays her true emotions, acting as a constant and steady rock for those around her but someone who secretly struggles with anxiety and the loss of parents who seemed to never care about her and her three siblings. Though she may be calm, she does break: the emotions and pains that she keeps bottled within her spill and she thunders and roars, oftentimes throwing this in fits of rage. Kwan is also someone who's very dependable; she never breaks a promise and watches out for those that she loves. She makes it a point to be consistent; she hates what her mother has become and wants to make sure that her siblings have someone in their lives that they can depend on when she never did. Kwan is also quiet highly opinionated, though you wouldn't be able to tell from looking at her. She isn't afraid to voice her opinions, though she will only provide them when she feels the circumstance is right.

  Kwan Suk was the first child of Joo Won Suk, a Korean immigrant, and Emily Chung a Korean American. Though her father had come over as a steel worker, her parents decided to do what many Korean families in California had done; they started a business. But the only available space that was affordable to the already poor family stood in Salinas, one of the poorest towns in California. With the little money they had and whatever her grandmother had loaned them, they had set up the business with high hopes and big smiles. Their American Dream, something they looked forward too in the America that promised them so much. But the increasing taxes on small businesses combined with the lack of profit they were getting drove the business to the ground and that weekend, after they had sold the building her father had killed himself with an overdose of pills. What had been a happy childhood was cut short when she was 10, her 3 younger siblings, the twins Alaina and Soobin, the baby Daniel left fatherless. Her mother was never the same after that; she fell into drinking, which soon evolved into drugs and cigarettes and soon her mother was gone for days on end, using money that had been kept in their savings account to feed her addiction while her grandmother tried to support the 4 children on the little money she had left.
  
  

  teenage years

  She started working when she was 14. There were plenty of jobs to do around Salinas; they didn't care if you were 16 or 5, all that mattered was that you could work. Besides her school work, Kwan worked various odd jobs, pulling money for her sibling's field trips and to buy school supplies. Her grandmother had enough to feed them but for these things? Kwan had to find the money herself. It was during this period in her life that Kwan had stumbled on Mr. Grove's forge. She had been walking home from helping clean the Pawn Shop windows when she heard the clang of a hammer on metal and went to investigate. Mr. Grove was an artisan blacksmith, though in the dying town that Salinas was, he was making barely any money off of it besides the occasional out of town order. She would come in every day to peek in and watch as he shaped the metal with the force of his hammer, sculpting the metal rods into elegant curves, spirals that were smooth and delicate. Humored by the young girl, Mr. Grove had taken her in as an apprentice, even offering her a meager salary from his own poor earnings to help the girl. Soon Kwan was assisting him in the forge, getting fresh water and maintaining the fire, passionate about the craft. But she never truly was able to pursue it. So she remained his apprentice, while juggling odd jobs and school work.
  
  
  

  entering adulthood

  Kwan was able to enter community college after high school, though throughout the school year she was constantly busy, working at McDonald's and taking her siblings where they needed to go before she herself could sit down to finish her studies. But, once her grandmother got sick and the taxes somehow got heavier, worse, she dropped out for a year, only finishing school the a few months before her 23rd birthday. Her mother seemed to come back increasingly looking worse, only returning to look for money and slapping her when she didn't cough up the money to feed her ever-present drug and alcohol addiction. Her siblings often hid when her mother was home, sleeping over at their grandmother's while Kwan dealt with her mother at home. it was during this period that her angry outbursts grew more frequent, many of the glass cups they had owned shattered in her rage. But she made sure to do it behind the house, away from the curious eyes of her siblings, so that she could seethe alone. It was this anger and anger with the ever worsening control of the monarchy that led her to join the Voice of the People, a rebel group who worked towards a democracy through protests, though the occasional riot happened. People in town gave her dirty looks when she wore her jacket, the old woman across the street threatening to call the police and Kwan soon realized why the V.O.P hid and so she did, helping hide members the police searched for, masked during protests to not reveal her identity. It was this and blacksmithing that kept her going, the smiles of her siblings and her weakened grandmother that pushed her on. And moving on she did.

  dalia is best known for her "chameleon" personality. she is a highly adaptable young lady and, therefore, is very good at blending into her the variety of different environments she is placed in. she is neither extroverted nor introverted, but rather an ambivert of sorts. she is both a great conversationalist and an excellent listener. to those who do not know her well, she can be quite an alluring or mysterious subject. in simplest terms, dalia is quite the actress, but she is not a bad person by any means.
  
  though the jordanian princess might wear a few different masks, the true dalia has quite a compassionate soul. she enjoys helping others or lending a hand to those in need whenever she can (though she tends to quietly do so). not only that, but she is a fiercely loyal individual to those she trusts and cares for. she is also open-minded and is not quick to judge, regardless of their background. however, that does not mean that she is trusting of everyone she meets. in fact, the beauty has a tendency to be a skeptic and is not one to easily fall into someone else's trap.
  
  dalia is definitely an intellectual. she is curious about the world and is not afraid to challenge new ideas. at the same time, she knows her limits and is not afraid to admit them. she is the quick-thinking type and has a lot of passion for the things that interest her. she is also a witty young woman, who always seems to have a comeback for everything. even if one cannot fully trust her for whatever reason, she makes for an interesting companion.
  
  but the princess is far from perfect. some find her unpredictable nature to be unnerving and deceitful despite dalia's usually good intentions. she is also prone to experiencing periods of loneliness and indecisiveness due to her ambivert personality. she also has a tendency to strive for balance, which can either leave her feeling emotionally exhausted at times or could possibly stir up some rebellious ideas depending on the context of the situation.

  princess dalia bint idris, house of sassan, was the first born of the king idris bin zaid and queen consort eliora idris. despite being the firstborn, dalia was never destined to hold the throne due to the fact that she was a woman. instead, the next line to the throne was passed to her younger brother, amir, when he was born three years after her. the two of them, well, would never grow close with each other due to mutual distrust.
  
  though she was no heir to throne, dalia was permitted to obtain a very good education, which she took full advantage of as a child and adolescent. however, like most royal women in jordan, she was expected to be submissive and was encouraged to stay out of the spotlight, unlike her brother. she mostly followed her parents' wishes to an extent as a child and an adolescent. she played the role of the "perfect and docile" princess while her parents were around but when they were not around? dalia had her own agenda, even as a child.

  when she was twenty years old, her brother was diagnosed with a terminal illness and died not long after being diagnosed. a woman had never ruled jordan but with no other male relatives (at none that were known) to take her brother's title of heir apparent and her father refused to select someone outside his bloodline; therefore, it was decided that dalia would take the crown until her father was to produce another heir or until dalia had a son of her own. in other words, she would reign as a queen regent of sorts if something were to happen to her father. but, of course, that arrangement did not go smoothly.

Bio:
Aeda was pretty normal for most of her life, a picture perfect normal italian girl raised by normal italian parents. She excelled in basketball in highschool and was the team captain for 3 years of Highschool starting from the Sophmore year to the end of her time at highschool. She never typically hung out with that many people, she was never girly enough to really hang with the popular crew and aside from a few friends that were more popular than her she was otherwise abit reserved and shy.

A surname bestowed upon her family long ago by the Emperor of where her ancestors came from. Her Mother's and father's side of the family and their origins somehow lacks the information in the historical records yet within the family itself all these events are all known and retold every new generation a very detailed description of their history- not only their families but also of the land they came from. During the time her mother had birthed her, the sky had turned to an unusual shade of bright red. Yet no one could clearly tell whether it was a curse nor a blessing due to this phenomenon. She had her life smooth-sailing until she began school. Without herself being aware, she was pressured by the adults in school and her peers. Wanting to do well, she studied and went for her usual tuition classes. In her final year, she was trying to do her best and just focus on her studies but her classmates did not allow that and her life got a bit messy, too. Personality: At first glance, Alina comes off as a bright bubbly girl. After all, as the Crowned Princess, she must be loved by all and loved in return. "Nothing good comes from a quiet ruler," as her parents say. Behind the "perfect princess façade" however, is a very shy and awkward girl. Background:

There was never supposed to be a Crowned Princess of Ukraine. Queen Sofiya was unable to provide an heir. As far as the Royals knew, their next in line would be a nephew. And then one rainy day the young rulers announced the arrival of baby Alina. The country was thrilled with the news, going as far as to celebrate the Princesses birth for an entire week. Some questioned the sudden birth though, for the Queen had never showed signs of being pregnant. However, with no other explanations the suspicions were dropped over the months.

It had a lie of course.

An infant Alina had been found crying on the side of the road one fall night. A palace worker had been on their way back from town when they heard her. With nothing else to do, she was taken to the palace and presented to the Volks. The idea of her being adopted among the young maids had been passed around briefly. Until King Maxim had suggested the impossible. If they adopted the young girl, there would be no need for their family to give them an heir. No one would have to know she was not of royal blood.

And so Alina was raised as a Princess. As she grew older though, she noticed the small differences .Why didn't she look like her parents? Why did they get anxious when guests stared at her for a moment too long? Why was she never allowed to go out and explore the country? When the questions got to be too much she finally confronted her parents. It was then she found out the truth. Her adoption had been kept a secret as to protect her families name. After all, what would the people think if they found out a regular girl had become a princess over night. Worse, what would neighboring countries think. No one would take a second glance at Alina if they found out her identity. With no other choice the young princess simply accepted the lie.

Hiding the secret was more work than Alina had originally thought. Once she hit her teenage years, the resemblance to her parents was few. Alina showed up in the media less and less. She spent her days listening to lectures, reading books, ballroom dancing. Anything to be the perfect princess her parents, and country expected her to be. On the rare occasion she was in the media, Alina tried her best to be bubbly and warm. Whenever a reporter would ask about her appearance Alina would simply say genetics, after all, her grandmother had red hair ( they got lucky there) and no one was willing to argue.

It was her early adult years that Alina had finally had enough. She was sick of being stuck within the property, not allowed to talk to anyone except the workers. Alina was able to enlist the help of her lady in waiting, Marie, who felt bad for her. It wasn't like she asked to be adopted into royalty, so it wasn't fair she had to tip toe around everything. For months, Alina explored all the wonderful places her country had to offer. She visited the small towns, woods, fields, wherever her feet would take her. What she hadn't expected was for them to notice the little things. Her locking herself in her room for hours on end, sleeping well into the day. Not wanting to talk about the responsibilities she was set to inherit. They felt they were losing their daughter, that she would want nothing to do with the path in front of her. Their image would be ruined should the Crowned Princess suddenly decide she doesn't want to rule, worse, she could come clean to the country about her identity.

Alina is called into her parents room late one night where it is announced she will be shipped off to another country for a conference. There, they told her she would be tested. What that test involves? They refused to say.

  Biography

  
  Cal was blessed with a relatively normal, suburbanite upbringing as an only child to Hank and Linda Durand. His childhood years were filled with team sports, video games, and rounds of man hunt with his neighborhood friends. Unfortunately teenage rebellion struck him hard, leaning him into a stent of mild drug use and petty thievery. Caught red-handed as a newly turned seventeen year old with a bag of marijuana and the newest gaming system he’d acquired with a five finger discount, the judge had given him the choice of jail or the military.
  
  Once in the military, he quickly decided to straighten himself out for his mother’s sake. Learning discipline and working out to the point of regurgitation became his new normal until his deployment to Baghdad, Iraq. About 2 months before he was set to return home and end his military career, he’d ended up on the wrong side of an Iraqi bank heist. Unfortunately for Cal, his previous criminal history and the robbery he was unable to prove he’d had no known involvement in, turned his happy homecoming into a prison sentence. Now, after a few years in a federal maximum security prison, he’s been given another chance.
  

  Cause of Imprisonment

  As a private stationed in Baghdad, Iraq in 2007, Cal was amongst a fair few selected for guard duty to the Dar Es Salaam Bank. This bank housed millions of dollars in U.S. currency on hand. Having received conflicting commands from the unknown Staff Sergeants assigned to transport the notes, he did as any good soldier would and followed orders. Unaware, at the time, that the bills were not actually supposed to be moved from the bank (and into the hands of an Iraqian gang leader), caused him trouble with the United States’ federal government once they’d learned of his involvement in the great heist. Cal was unable to identify the never before seen Staff Sergeant in command that day, thus earning him a ticket to prison for the entire operation.

  Andrei is a very guarded person, mostly because he's had to be his whole life. His mother chose drugs and men over raising her son; honestly, he was lucky the woman didn't get an abortion. Or unlucky, depending on how you looked at it. His father was not a kind man, and he was pissed that Andrei's mother left him alone to raise him, and he took that anger out on Andrei. This led to Andrei having to be guarded, but also gave him anger issues of his own. As a kid growing up in Russia, he didn't even have a great chance to begin with, and he was constantly picked on for anything from his shabby clothes to the fact that his mother left. As he got older, he started fighting back and even put more than a few kids in the hospital.
  
  As a young man, that anger only grew. After leaving home, he was on his own on the unkind streets of his home country, stealing to survive. He looks out for himself above all others, which can make him selfish in the eyes of others. He does have a loyalty streak, but only to those he feels deserves it, which in his mind isn't alot of people. There are a few people who helped him out a time or two, whether it was a long term thing or otherwise. He's stubborn, prideful, and independent, he doesn't feel as though he needs anyone in his life who doesn't want to be there.

  Andrei was born to a woman who never wanted him and a father who didn't expect to have him. The pregnancy was a surprise to his father, and pretty much as soon as he was born, she left him behind at his father's. After months and months of lying to the man, saying she wanted to be a family, she just disappeared one night. Andrei's father woke up to his child screaming in the other room, and his bed empty. Though he searched for her, she'd completely fallen off the grid, and he was stuck with Andrei. He was angry and took that anger out on Andrei all throughout his childhood. Andrei was never good enough for his father, only he would find out later that he was never given a fair chance. He tried running away a few times as a child, but Andrei's father always found him and dragged him back, beating him bloody for it. He was constantly bullied as a kid as well, so he pretty much got it from all sides.
  
  

  teenage years

  As a teenager, Andrei started growing into his body and started fighting back. Both the bullies and his father. Eventually the kids at school learned to leave him alone, but his father never would. At sixteen, Andrei dropped out of school and left home for good, old enough and smart enough now to know how not to get found. He lived on the streets mostly, doing odd jobs that would earn him enough money to eat or find temporary shelter. He got in with all kinds of people, only meeting a few decent ones during this time. Mostly they were shady and cruel, but as long as Andrei kept his head down he would be okay.
  
  

  entering adulthood

  He was in and out of jail starting at seventeen, usually for petty things like stealing or fighting or getting drunk in public. The most recent time, though, he was twenty two and arrested for murder. Though he claimed self defense, no one would believe him with his track record even though it was true. He was thrown in prison and the key was thrown away pretty much. He would supposedly die in there. But recently, he was approached by someone claiming to be an advisor to the king. The man said that Andrei could go free if he agreed to go on a quest of sorts and be a bodyguard. There was some hesitation before Andrei agreed, figuring that if shit went wrong on the quest he could always just run.

  One can never exactly predict their child’s future and so when little Max was born, his parents saw a small bundle of joy that was going to make them both proud. He was born after a long time of trying and Liliana McPherson was basically bordering that age when having a child was more of a risk than a blessing. But Max came to this world all healthy and strong and his parents were ecstatic that they finally managed to conceive an offspring. As a kid, Max was very observant and clever, he learned to read and write pretty early and once he started the school, he was quickly one of the smartest kids in his class. Teachers loved him and he was a joy to teach. The young boy was making his way through his studies easily and soon made it to the top of his class.
  
  The McPhersons were never considered wealthy people. Sure, they had a nice home in the suburbs, a white picket fence and two dogs chasing each other in the backyard but with mom being a housewife and dad working for one of the construction companies as an accountant, they had just enough to make the ends meet. Charles, Max’s dad, took a few extra jobs sometimes to bring some extra cash in though, especially when Max needed new books and clothes for school. But the young boy never complained or threw a tantrum. Basically, the family lived extremely boring life of a middle class standard.
  
  No one was surprised when Max made a valedictorian of his class at high school. However, he never made any scholarship happen for him. Considering his family could not afford sending him to college, there were not exactly many options for Max what to do and he was not ready to join the blue collar world. An idea struck him and while his parents were not exactly thrilled, Max still enrolled in the police academy. Being almost an academic prodigy, his journey there was unproblematic. The physical part was way more challenging than he expected though but soon the hell would freeze over than Max McPherson would admit his defeat and he knew he needed to step it up. It was the time he got a bit more buffed, gained his strength and made sure to handle any challenge posed to him.
  
  Mom and dad were extremely proud to see their boy graduate in the dark blue uniform and join the force. But being nothing but a traffic officer was not what this boy had in mind. His way headed up and he was determined to lose his uniform in order to become a detective. If he was not going to have the degree he wanted, he was at least going to be the best in what he did. It took some time. No days, weeks or months. It took several long years full of hard work, long hours, sweat and blood even to finally get the badge but it happened, the shiny little thing was proudly pinned to his belt.   Until the day he was hit with the greatest tragedy of his life. One day he came home from work only to find the house way too quiet. It was almost ominous and the young detective immediately reached for his gun. And he was right to do so as upon entering the living room, he was hit by a shadow. Max fired a few shots but to no avail. The shadow disappeared and only then Max realized his parents were lying there in a large puddle of their own blood. It was the day Max’s world as he knew it crumbled into the dust.
  
  Ever since that day, Max couldn’t eat, couldn’t sleep and his mind and heart darkened. He swore to bring those who took his parents away to justice but there was never enough evidence. The case became cold and no one wanted to deal with it. Max himself was banned from touching it ever again, considering it was too personal. Not that he ever listened. And since his boss kept telling him no, Max decided to find other sources. This was the turning point when the good boy became the darkest version of himself. Not sleeping enough, changing his healthy diet to whiskey and cigarettes, Max became obsessed and sold his soul to the devil of the local underground. He even went as far as trading the classified information for cheap hints and fragments. Until he finally managed to find the petty criminal who brought Max’s fairy tale life to an early end.
  
  However, it didn’t matter anymore that he managed to solve his case. While doing so, he got so deeply involved with the mafia, that he could not claw his way out of that pit. He kept selling the information but now, it was for real money. Anyone who knew Max before the untimely death of his parents would never recognize him now. His muscles grew even more, his face was covered in a three-day stubble and there was always a cigarette hanging from the corner of his mouth. His vocabulary became less SAT and more dirty street and while he still had results in the force, he was more loyal to the mafia boss than the justice system. He stopped caring about anything because why care about the system which does not care about you? And eventually, his attitude was what broke his neck. Max stopped being careful, he stopped paying attention to the little details and numbed the pain with alcohol and narcotics. Personality : Always the philosopher in his own mind, Etienne is certainly not as smart as he thinks he is, but he is still wiser than his years and a very intelligent young man. He enjoys learning, whether that is from his studies and books, or the world and people around him. He is always watching and collecting little details, and his impeccable memory always serves him well in being able to recall those details and use them to his advantage at later times.

Beyond his intelligence, which is the most notable personality trait once you start talking to him, Etienne is also a reserved, quiet type who likes his space. He loves being alone, and is extremely selective of who he allows in his personal space when he is able to make the decision for himself. Indeed, he has spent much time in the public eye, and he's not terrible at it. He is no great speaker, but he is charismatic enough to get the job done without offending anyone.

Alone, Etienne is truly himself. His mind is allowed to wander to all those places he is otherwise always holding back from, and he gets to utilize his time to do things he enjoys. He doesn't hate everything about being a prince, but he cherishes the time he does get to be himself.

Etienne is nothing if not honest, another reason he likes to keep his own company, as over the years his honesty has gotten him into certain social blunders. He isn't rude or ill-behaved, but a lot of what he has to say can be difficult to digest. As he gets older, he has just learned to say less and listen more. He supposes in time, one way or another, the people who are meant to be in his life will come into it and stay, regardless of his rather contrary nature.

History : There is no doubt that Etienne deserved to be the prince of France even if he often felt, growing up, that he did not want to be. Being raised as a prince was not the only reason he so loved his country, but he in fact had always found it a beautiful and magical place that extended to him nothing but happiness in his childhood.

He was not then, nor is he now, perfectly matched to his position. Always a few steps behind where he needs to be, Etienne struggles with meeting the standard of every aspect of royalty. While he is especially skilled in some areas, they're not always the ones of importance. So much has been true his entire life, and his parents and tutors have spent twenty-one long years struggling to get him on track.

Even then, he never acted out of rebellion, Etienne has always desire to be good at what he was born to do, which has made it all the more frustrating when he has failed at things which were expected of him. Years of quiet, little resentments had built up to a breaking point when he was a teenager.

There was a period of time just before his adulthood that Etienne had, or so he thought he had, accepted that he was never going to be perfect or live up to the incredible expectations of his birth, and he stopped putting out effort. He never had it in him to demonstrate true rebellion, but he quickly learned that being passive might have been an even worse way of acting out.

He had no siblings, so the threats from his parents that he would be removed from the family lineage and inheritance for his incompetence meant nothing to him because he knew they were just that, threats. Empty ones, at that.

During his period of ambivalence toward all things prince related, Etienne regularly evaded anyone who was meant to be keeping him safe, his quiet and reserved nature tricking them every time. He even had a brief, romantic relationship with a less than desirable suitor. His parents found out about it, and kept it from the public. A commoner? A commoner boy at that? They would not have anyone finding out about it.

Etienne was so discreet that, even though they were aware of his relationship, they were never quite able to prove it, and he ended up breaking things off on his own after some time had passed without any intervention from his parents. He had grown up some, and finally decided to return to truly caring about his responsibilities.

He still cared for his ex lover, and would occasionally contact them in some way to make sure they were doing alright. At some point, they altogether stopped corresponding with him, and when he finally looked into it he discovered they were the victim of an extremely violent crime.

This disturbed Etienne so much that he threw himself into his responsibilities even more to distract himself. He had multiple conspiracies going through his mind all the time concerning what happened, all of which he kept to himself. He felt that he was somehow to blame for the incident, but never voiced that fear to anyone.

Even though he had started working hard again, he was emotional and distracted more often than not, and has not been doing exceptionally well at his job as a prince. He is aware of his parents very apparent failing confidence in him, as they are always trying to get him to comply with "help" from mental health professionals. His refusal has kept him on their bad side, but they have so far not forced him, unwilling to make their family look bad in the public eye. Thus far they have been able to keep Etienne's troubles a secret from France, and the world.

Recently he was informed he was attending a conference of sorts, and he's learned by now that he has little choice in matters concerning his parents wishes.
