1. I’d prefer everyone be a fifth year, just to keep everything organized, but if you want extra characters that aren’t focused on as much, characters of different ages are allowed.
2. You can have as many characters as you can handle. If you can only juggle one, then only make one, but if you find having six characters is easy, go for it.
3. As much as I love having characters that are complete idiots sometimes, this isn’t necessarily the place for them. Book smart characters are a must.
4. Keep the drama in rp, no ooc drama should be public, keep it in dms or not at all.

Name: Erik Mikhailov

Status: Son of the leader of the Solntsevskaya Bratva.

Personality: Being raises by a Russian Mafia boss, Erik is often just as cold as you’d expect. Often times his face is void of emotion. He’s analytical and blunt. He refuses to get close with anyone, thus leaving the other students of rosewood to make only the worst assumptions. He can count the “friends” he’s had on one hand.

Despite his thick outer shell, the inside can really glow bright. If someone were to finally break that barrier, they’d see a bright young man with a great sense of humor. Like he’d ever let that happen, he’ll duct tape any cracks in the surface if he had to.

Biography: Erik was always seen as too soft by his father. Since the moment he was born, he was weak, far too weak to be an heir. As he grew it was clear that this wasn’t just a temporary innocence. With the birth of his younger brother, his father could see this second boy was the exact opposite. He resented Erik for being born first. In an attempt to make him more like that perfect boy, his father would beat him anytime he made a mistake. Though it appeared to work, Erik just learned to play the part.

It soon became apparent to Erik that he wasn’t made for this. He had to get out. Fortunately at eleven, Erik found his out: Rosewood Hall. It didn’t take much convincing for his father to send him away. Imagine what he could do with all the time he wasn’t spending beating his idiot son? Moving thousands of miles away was a small price to pay for Erik.

Despite his newfound freedom, the damage was done. He still looked and acted like a douchebag, but at least this way, no one could hurt him. After a couple years, he decided there was no point in going home for the summer. During summer, he attended classes in rosewood’s Japanese sister school, Takeshin Gakuin. It wasn’t often that students willingly took extra classes, but no one in their right mind was going to stop him.

Though it’s been a couple years since he’s been home, and the bruises have faded, light scars still remain that remind him of home. Though it isn’t his home anymore, he’ll never really be free of it.

Personality: Vance is a whole-hearted softie who finds it hard not to worry about other people. He could he considered a parent-friend to those he is close with. Vance often puts himself aside to take care of others who need it, and will often give his own things away to people who want them; because of this, he’s usually especially low on pencils or pens. He trusts everybody straight off the bat and believes that no matter what someone has done, they could still change and become a good person. He is often taken advantage of, falling victim to those who only use him for the things he has. He’s smart and is often willing to help others with classwork. He could be considered emotional over logical, as his emotions usually override his decisions.

Biography: From the moment Vance was born, he was one of the lucky handful of children who got to have two parents in their life. His father works in an office, and his mother a detective. Vance loved to hear the stories his mom would tell from her experiences, and he often tried adding his input. He adored her work and wants to be a detective when he grows up, too.

Vance tries his hardest in each of his classes, and really looks over everything in different perspectives. He’s a very quiet person in class, focused more on his work than chit-chat, but he does try to make the time to make friends. At Rosewood, Vance wouldn’t be considered a popular kid, but he is known; this is because people usually get him to do their work, then spread it on. Vance isn’t too sure of who all his real friends are, but he tries to keep whoever he can close.

Status: The St.Vincent's are the definition of old money, and Eleonora is the heir to their fashion empire. Eleonora's great-great-grandfather was an esteemed tailor who turned his small business into the fashion empire it's known as today.

Personality: Eleonora is one of the most self-assured people you'd ever meet. It's easy to be confident in what you do and what you want in life when it has been laid out for you since birth. She carries herself as if she has never had a care in the world because for the most part, she doesn't. Externally, she's very outgoing and charming. Walking around with her is like walking around with someone who is running for office. It seems like she always knows someone when she's out and about. She strikes up conversations with complete strangers like they're old friends, she tries very hard to never forget a face. She knows how to project a very positive public image of herself. Once she's to herself or with a trusted few, she seldom starts the conversation and prefers to let those around her do the talking. This makes her seem withdrawn and uninterested in others. Eleonora is not without her faults. She's very particular about her self image and is very open about her vanity. She can be critical of others when she feels like they are not matching her energy. Her mother always taught her to act with poise and grace, so she does make an attempt to knock these behaviors off, but she has a long way to go. Eleonora has a nasty habit of manipulating those around her for various reasons. She likes knowing she has people in her good graces should she ever need to call on them for a favor.

Biography: Eleonora's upbringing was the picture of privilege. She is the only child of Simon and Celest St.Vincent, heiress to the fashion brand that she shares her surname with. Despite her parent's very busy lives, they always doted on their daughter and made sure she had the absolute best of everything. They wanted to make sure their daughter was going to be well rounded and ready to take on the business once she came of age. Her early years were spent being 'homeschool' with an intense curriculum that focused on language and culture. They called it homeschooling, but it was almost never at home. Her tutoring was done as the family traveled for business, always wanting to keep Eleonora with them. Eleonora flourished in this sort of environment. The opportunities to meet so many people and try so many things so young were incredibly advantageous and what probably gave Eleonora her well developed social skills. Once she became of age, her parents knew right away that they wanted her to attend Rosewood. It was exactly the right place for someone like her, and they were confident that it would give her the tools to succeed in her higher education.

Status: Princess, second in line to the throne

Personality: Isabella is often soft spoken, she tries not to lay a finger out of place or say a word that would be better left unspoken. She exists only to make the monarchy look good. As a princess, she must act the part. Relaxing isn’t really her style, she’s busy with at least one thing at a time.

Though she may seem uptight, when she’s alone, sometimes she’ll try to enjoy herself. Though it may be hard for her to let go, sometimes she’ll find nice moments to calm down and have some fun. It’s a rare occurrence, but a nice one. These moments don’t last long as Isabella soon realizes her responsibilities once again.

Biography: From a young age, Isabella was trained to be the perfect princess. Of course she was never as treasured as her darling older sister, Victoria, but she was still expected to uphold the kingdom. She got used to this pressure as she aged and just assumed it was normal. When she started Rosewood she discovered it was not normal. So many of these kids got away with doing almost anything. It surely was a strange environment, but she wasn’t going to waver. She’d still be a great representation for her kingdom.

Status: Partizan- an assassin trained since birth to protect one person for the rest of their lives

Personality: Astrid has always been pretty stoic and straight to the point. She’s never questioned her purpose and doesn’t expect anyone else to. She’s ready to do whatever it takes to protect her princess. Although she seems to have no feelings, she’s no less than forgiving. She’s willing to hear out what others have to say and take that into account before making a choice. Ultimately though, she is instinctual and in a life or death situation she will fight.

Astrid is rather loud, though observant, sometimes other people get drowned out by her voice. She’s quite the leader and expects others to follow the decisions she makes. If someone doesn’t listen to her orders, she takes it as a personal offense. Unless it’s her princess. There’s nothing she wouldn’t do for Isabella.

Biography: Astrid was born in Sweden and spent most of her young childhood there. She showed mastery of self defense at a young age and was quickly entered into Europe’s Partizan Program. As her skills improved, she was quickly noticed by nobles from several countries, but Spain took a special interest in her. As she was close in age with their second daughter, she was quickly assigned to her. They weren’t exactly the best match at first, but now they’re practically inseparable. Having your life dedicated to someone else from such a young age is difficult to get used to, but now Astrid doesn’t know what else she could possibly do with her time. As they grew closer, their relationship grew deeper. Though relationships between partizans and their nobles are strictly forbidden throughout most of Europe, they’ve found this hasn’t come between them. Though romance may stay a secret, Astrid will never keep her dedication to Isabella a secret.

Personality: Schuyler is a friendly person that comes off as natural and friendly. She is abit brainy and enjoys solving riddles and puzzles. She's good at making friends and being supportive towards others although she tends to dwell on her own problems rather than sharing them with others. She comes off as sociable and quirky, often getting absorbed in situations and forgetting to listen to other's warnings.

Biography: Schuyler's father was a world renowned Archaeologist and Secret Treasure Hunter. She grew up in their mansion often being taught music, history and archaeology by her father throughout her childhood. Her father and Schuyler had a good relationship. He would often go on expedition trips across the world, making sure Schuyler would learn as much as possible while he was away. She would be left alone in the mansion, although Schuyler had been more mature at a younger age and smart enough to take care of herself. Her father's lessons would often go what would be normal expectations for a child in terms of knowledge however she was quick to master them.

Her father eventually however died on a trip to the Bahamas, leaving Schuyler to be raised with her grandparents, who happened to rich socialites within the high class society of France.
They raised her with care, making sure to get her to behave enough to survive in her newfound upper society world and would go to lengths to educate her about fashion and manners.
They tended to be hard at times but in a loving way and eventually enrolled Schuyler in Rosewood.

Status: Singer having a “rebel phase.” His band “The Stars Above” is semi popular with teens

Personality: Xavier is never afraid to stand out. He’s always been pretty loud, but now he’s letting his exterior match the interior, much to his manager’s dismay. He always says what’s on his mind, even if it isn’t so nice. He tries to care about others feelings but sometimes the words just come out. He sees no point in feeling bad about it, what’s done is done. He tries not to think to much about the past. Life is about moving forward.

Xavier often finds comfort in the quiet things. Though he enjoys being loud, the most tender moments are found during a smoke in the cold or the common room at 2 am. These moments give him a much needed break as his life is filled with chaos. He’s too proud to admit that sometimes he needs a break from the star life.

Biography: Xavier always loved music. Even as an infant it seemed to be the only thing that could calm him down. During his childhood, his parents tried to get him to play instruments but none of them ever interested him. He only connected with lyrics and his voice. Though they didn’t see much potential in that route, his current record company saw him differently. He had the kind of boy band voice they were looking for. After recording their first album, the band immediately went on tour. About half way through Xavier began playing with his image. He wanted to see himself as a person and not as some guy on a stage. He started to make himself look like a person he could recognize instead of a different flavor of four other guys. By the time the tour ended, his label was less than pleased. As punishment he’s being forced to take a break and attend Rosewood for a semester.

Joey is very petite; she isn’t taller than 5’1 on a good day and weighs in at 95 lbs. She has short, unkempt, brown hair which she cut bluntly by impulse right before coming back to school. Usually she'll wear it half up, mainly to rid her face of it. Her eyes are big and almond shaped. They’re of a deep brown color with thick, straight brows hovering above them. It's not uncommon for her eyes to be bloodshot from spending so much time in front of a screen and so little time asleep.

She has a snub shaped nose and her lips are usually chapped, despite her efforts to carry around chapstick. Her skin is a medium color with warm undertones. In the summer, freckles will spread out across her cheeks and nose, though she is not very fond of how they look on her.

Joey is a very analytical person, she’s very perceptive and is good at reading others. Sometimes without realizing it herself. Even though she understands other’s feelings with ease, she values logic and the truth above people’s feelings. This has been known to make her come off as mean, but she rarely has malicious intents. Joey is also a very stubborn person, if she has her mind on something, she is likely to succeed.

Furthermore, Joey is a rather honest person and in turn values honesty in the people around her. She isn’t afraid of calling someone out or sharing her opinions. Though she can be pretty cold, once someone is close to her they can expect a very loyal and compassionate friend.

Joey Walters’ upbringing was an average one. She doesn’t have many stories to tell, nor many misfortunes to grieve. Her parents had her when they were still pretty young and actually wanted a boy. Her mother was however not that keen on experiencing another pregnancy, so they settled with naming their daughter a predominantly masculine name; Joey. Now, Joey was never very fond of her name as a child, as it got her a decent amount of teasing, but nowadays she doesn’t really have time to care.

Raised in London by two parents working very well-paying jobs, Joey was an only child. This meant her parents had to work most of the time instead of spending time with Joey, leaving her to find her own ways of entertainment. Her dad eventually bought her a Gameboy at age 8, and she has yet to let it go.

As a child she was very curious, something that has definitely faded away, and she had a fascination with electronics, perhaps due to her parents having this interest themselves. This curiosity followed her throughout her younger years and at 12 years old one of her favorite pastimes was disassembling and reassembling electronics around the house. Of course, her parents weren’t very fond of coming home to find the TV controller broken. Although Joey never had an affinity for academics she always did very well in school and her parents used this interest of hers to coerce her into pursuing an education at Rosewood Hall.

Name: Jaden Malcolm

Personality: At his best, Jaden can be really protective and strong minded. He’s a boy of few words and tends to keep to himself. Perhaps due to how quiet he is people mistake it for him being bashful, but that’s so far from the truth.

The reality is that he really just does not give one flying fuck about people. To him, people (especially girls) are pawns. Toys. Maybe it’s his troubled past that made him this way, or perhaps just his God complex.

Don’t get me wrong. He’s not ALL bad. He has some redeeming qualities. The boy sings like an angel and if he gives you his word — he keeps it. But don’t expect him to be a shoulder to cry on or the person you call when you need someone. He’s only there for a few people and chances are you’re not one of them.

Biography: Jaden grew up in an extremely abusive household. His father left when he was young, leaving him with his substance abusing mother. She neglected him, leaving the child alone for hours on end and bringing strange people home to get high.

It wasn’t long before the proper authorities were informed and he was sent to live with his rich and very successful aunt. But even though he was safe there, it never felt like home. He was extremely envious of his cousin, bordering on hating the other boy. Growing up without the affection and care of a mother made Jaden a cold and frigid person.

Despite this, he’s incredibly bright. He excels at anything he puts his mind to, which is how he got into Rosewood.

Tommaso is a rather tall guy for his age, easily reaching 6'1. With an affinity for working out, his physique bears witness to it. Atop his head is a mess of brown hair, though he does his best to tame it. His eyes are a light green that may shift more to steel depending on the light in his surroundings and accompanying them are a pair of bushy brows. His skin is smooth with various moles sprinkled about.

Tommaso likes to joke around and is a light-hearted person. As of yet, nobody has been able to hit a nerve with him, which is probably a good thing considering his family's history. Tommaso is big on favors; he always holds up his end of the deal and expects the same in return, and it’s usually not in people’s interest not to return the favor. The boy is quite the daredevil and enjoys the occasional thrill of doing something he either isn't supposed to do or something that could end up in a tragedy.

He has always been something of a rebel, acting out because he doesn’t know how else to deal with his feelings. Instead of dealing with them, he’ll find ways to distract himself. He’s the kind of person who will never share feelings with anyone, hating the vulnerability that comes with intimacy. Besides, what good comes with ruining the mood?

Tommaso was raised in a beautiful mansion located on the south coast of Italy, born to two rather questionable figures. They had lots of money, but nobody quite knew where it came from. Regardless, Tom never questioned it. Why would he? The boy had always had everything he could dream of. That is to say, except for his parent’s love.

Tommaso is the youngest of three siblings, though his brothers were so much older that both of them had left the house when Tommaso was but six years old. His mother did nothing but compare him to his brothers and when Tommaso’s rebellious streak started showing it was not uncommon for both of his parents to reprimand him. Nobody questioned the bruises as he had always been a daredevil and therefore got some of them all on his own.

Despite the abuse he endured at home, he could never bring himself to hate his parents. In some twisted way, they cared for him. At least, Tommaso is set on thinking they do.

When his mother, in an attempt to make something out of her son, suggested he attend Rosewood Hall he reluctantly agreed. His father did not object as he was quite keen on ridding himself of his son. Tommaso didn’t look forward to leaving the luxuries of his home, but at least he’d be free to do whatever he wanted while he was away.

Name: Malachi Robel (Born Owen Flaherty)
Age: 15 as of recently

Nationality: Irish
Status/History: Malachi was launched into fame by being abducted as the chosen prophet of The Congregation of the Nine, an infamous German cult. What started out as a disorganized rabble of lunatics quickly became a dangerous and highly sensationalized group with Malachi, at the time an unknown child, at their head. Several films emerged from the cult's inner circles of Malachi's brainwashing-induced scripture, as well as the cult frequently anonymously contacting news networks to claim responsibility for various crimes. The cult demanded allegiance from several high-powered government officials, and infiltrated communities with propaganda. Several local people went missing and were later discovered in the aftermath of the cult's fall.

An unnamed missing child for six years, he was finally identified only days after instigating a third mass murder of members of the press, The cult, fearing collapse if their young leader was taken from them, trapped themselves in their secret hideaway and set it alight. Of their one-hundred or so members, only seven escaped the blaze. The other six are now serving prison sentences for their roles in the cults many crimes, but Malachi was identified as being a very young and heavily brainwashed captive, despite his prominent position in the cult, was taken into Rosewood as a compromise for his safety.
Personality: Malachi is a quiet, serious, and very peculiar boy. He speaks seldom, and with a noticeable stammer. Still recovering from his time in the cult, he only answers to the name the cult gave him and is known to ramble to himself and have occasional unexplained breakdowns. His hands are always shaking and he often refuses to eat. It's said that no one has seen him sleep more than an hour at a time. Socially, he is very shy, lies often, and has a fidgety and nervous demeanor around him. He does, however, interact with people on his own and seems at least a little curious about the lives of others.
Habits - talking to himself, fidgeting with his hair and hands, meticulous adherence to rules.
Fears - Blood, being trapped in small spaces, fire, heights
Appearance:
Malachi is small at only five feet and six inches, with a delicate and almost effeminate frame. He has an unusual posture caused by his injury, leaning to take weight off his disabled leg and more often than not he stands hunched over his crutch, craning his neck as though his head were too heavy for his shoulders. He dresses simply, in mostly neutral colors, and tends towards a slightly shabby and vintage vibe that sets him apart from his outrageously wealthy classmates. In his own way, though, there is something commanding about him. Maybe it's his wide, owl-like green eyes. Maybe it's his leg. Who knows, really.

Other: Malachi was wounded in his escape from the cult, falling from the burning building and permanently damaging his right leg. He now walks with the use of a crutch. Bec is the best!

Personality:
Samantha has several aspects to her personality, ranging from her kindness to the fact that she'd risk her life to make sure that everyone is safe. Because of this, she's often founding pulling people up off the ground and showing them exactly what life has to offer, even when she herself feels down and worthless. She knows how that feels, which is why she's so ready to defend others.

Maybe it cliché how she wishes to protect everyone even though she knows she can't and maybe that's why she's looked down upon by others. They make it seem weak, and she knows its not. She hopes that others know this too, for everyone's sake. Because the moment that someone forgets is the moment all will go to hell.
Biography:
Samantha comes from one of the higher families. Born to Joseph and Emily Jones, she was often the center of attention, even when she didn't wish to be. When she was younger, she found herself drifting farther and farther from her parents, never becoming interested in whatever it was they were doing. This disappointed her parents greatly, but even they knew they couldn't make her just like them. Instead, she sought out the poorer kids, giving them food and water, blankets too, just to make sure they were okay.

Several other actors told her parents during that time that she was gifted in a different way than them, in possibly a better way. She could help out those in need, make them feel wanted and needed, and her parents noticed this as well. They couldn't shape who she was and every attempt to do so failed. Perhaps that's why they sent her away, because they knew deep down she'd do better somewhere else than with them.

Name: Alexander "Lex" Ashburn

Nationality: American

Status: Son of the (in)famous American playwright, Silvia Saracho (now Silvia Ashburn), who is lauded for her play "The Wake of Lady Liberty".

Personality: Lex inherited his father's talent as a thrill-seeker and his mother's flair for the dramatic. He is the type of person who latches onto an idea and devotes his whole being into it until he accomplishes his tasks or fails gloriously at it. Lex likes to think he has thoughts on everything worth talking about, and makes it known what he beliefs are if prompted.

Biography: Due to his mother becoming famous (or infamous in other circles), Alexander Ashburn spent most of his lifetime sheltered by his parents in San Francisco. Lex was homeschooled for some time, however he fell behind his studies due to a mob of people that razed the Ashburn Mansion to the ground. The political climate in America was heating up at the time, and extremists targeted Silvia and her family for the views expressed in her play which was recently used as a talking point in debates. Lex was sent to the UK with his nanny until the heat died down in America, and was promptly enrolled Rosewood Hall to continue his education.

Status: Old money family who's been around for generations. She's very proud of her heritage.
Personality: Calista frequently finds herself in the deans office. She is bold and fiesty, often not knowing when to bite her tongue. Growing up as the youngest of 5 brothers, she was was always rough housing. Callie is opinionated and head-strong, never afraid to back down from a fight or debate. She thrives in public speaking and engineering courses, as she's very good at building/figuring out how things work. She's also a people person and being the center of attention doesn't bother her one bit. She can be quite the talker sometimes and needs to be reminded to take a breath. Her accent isn't super thick, but once she gets very excited about something and starts rambling it comes out full swing making it hard to understand her. Same thing goes when she's angry.
Callie is a smart girl, as all those at Rosewood are. Like mentioned before, she excels in engineering, loving the hands-on aspect. She is definitely a science and math girl over english and history. The latter classes bore her to bits. She's not very arsty and prefers logical ways of going about things and following specific sets of instructions opposed to creative freedom. She is task-oriented and doesn't like to leave jobs half-finished unless they just have to be. She lives in her own organized mess and doesn't take fondly to people messing with her things.
Cal is a loyal friend through and through, probably one of the main reasons she was placed in Conch. Once you earn her trust it's quite hard to break it and she will always have your back through thick and thin. She is athletic and enjoys kickboxing and MMA. Biography: Calista was born and raised in Perth, Scotland. She was born into the well-known Murphy family who has been around for generations. She was the 6th and final of the Murphy children, the only female amongst her older brothers. Her mother, Tasha, was loving and kind. The nice tender break from her rambunctious brothers. Her father, Gideon was a hard-working and stern man who expected the best from his children. Though he could be brash he had a warm heart and treated his kids well. She had a good life, and loved her brothers very much. Though it was often argued they loved her more and still do. She always roughhoused with them, and played their sports. No one dared pick on Calista growing up, cause she had 5 boys backing her up. Her siblings names are as follows from eldest to youngest: Edmund (24), Sebastian (22), Quinton (21), Cedric (19), and Oliver (18).
When she was 14, her and her families worlds were rocked. They had been contacted by social services about a boy in need of a home to go to since his father was sent to jail. That boy was Fortitude Jones, a product of her mothers drunken affair. Though most might have resented this sibling, the Murphy household was anything but that. They welcomed Fort with open arms, Calista most of all. She was thrilled to have another brother. There was an undeniable rift in her parents marriage but they handled it all behind closed doors and are currently in counseling, not wanting to burden the children with their marital problems. They also had to keep the entire situation under wraps in order to avoid a media scandal, as being one of the wealthiest and most well-known families in Scotland came with some downsides.
Calista and Fort clung onto to each other almost instantly. Cal made it her goal to reverse the damage from his father. Ced and Ollie were also quick to welcome Fortitude but they did not seem to have near the connection him and Cal shared. The other Murphy boys were out of the house at this point, but made visits to welcome their new brother and play some traditional family rugby in the fall. While Cal and her siblings were the most welcoming, it was evident both parents cared about their new addition as well. Tasha was gentle and loving and overwhelmingly apologetic for leaving him with such a monster. Gideon was hesitant to be so loving, but only because he was aware the abuse Fort dealt with at the hands of his father, and being a father figure himself he didn't want to trigger him. So Gideon loved his new son from afar but treated him as his own, never once alluding to the fact he wasn't his blood. Once they got closer and more comfortable around each other, Fort would be the subject of many scottish dad jokes and praises like "that's my boy" and so on.

She knew exactly where they got the money from and it disgusted her to all means possible. How dare someone beat another just for riches? What did they believe they had to gain but a small fortune?

She watched this happen, sometimes forced by both parents to see what they did to keep her so well fed and dressed. This scared her, and when she was ten she fled. Ran as far as she could, and never looked back. She found Rosewood a few months later, starved and half on the brink of death. However, she had lived, and she had survived, no matter the cost.

Biography:
Fort's father is a famous televangelist (those priests on tv) and sees his son as someone to carry on his legacy. he viewed fort in a twisted possessive way, limiting his friends and rarely letting him leave the house. In his father's head he saw him as a copy of himself, and when fortitude would shatter that delusion, his father would get enraged and would pummel fort while screaming nonsense. After those episodes he'd go back to being the "perfect father" albeit a bit creepy. He grew moody and often lashed out, hating his father and at times himself. He lived like this until he was 15, when he came out to his father as gay. This was the straw that broke the camel's back, and led to his father attempting to beat fortitude to death. Their neighbor heard the screams and called the cop. After that, his father was sent to jail and it was discovered that Fort's biological mom was alive, unlike what his father had always told him. He moved in with her and meant his half-sister, becoming instantly attached to her. His time with his father shaped a large part of him, but Calista made it her goal to reverse the damage.

In an attempt to do some damage control and get him to be more civilized, his father was advised to send him to rosewood. Rune unlike many other royals or nobles, doesn't think of himself as any better than common people. In fact he's often most comfortable among those of "lesser" status. Wealth and titles mean nothing to him. All he cares about is, are you fun and will you go cliff jumping at 2 am with him.

Also a fun fact he was fascinated by viking culture from a young age Bc it was frequently mentioned in history there and one of his ancestors were Vikings. Got his father to let him join an academy in Norway that taught Gilma. The academy had training in sport and unarmed combat (Glima), as well as sport and combat with weapons: Swordfight (Sverdkamp), Axe-fight (Øksekamp), Stickfight (Stokkekamp), Spearfight (Spydkamp) and Knife-fight (Knivkamp). It also taught survival, such as bushcraft, with regular weekends out in the Norwegian forest and hills.

Personality: Keith actually does not give one singular shit. Staff at Rosewood really hate him for this. He doesn’t follow their rules and refuses to do anything their way. Regardless of his less than stellar reputation, he’s really nice. No, really. Just not to members of authority. Maybe that’s why his file in the office paints him like the actual antichrist. He doesn’t take it personally, he knows he’s a prick.

For the most part, the other students seem to like Keith. Maybe they are just being nice, but Keith likes to think all people act the way they feel just like he does. He’s very honest with everyone except himself. He doesn’t like to admit that he has a problem, rather it be his drug use or eating disorder. He acts like he has it all under control. He doesn’t.

Keith really does care what people think about him. He wants the staff to think he’s a force to be reckoned with, while he wants the other students to think he’s a good person. These can often conflict. Sometimes the staff will catch him being sweet to another student, or a student will catch him physically fighting staff. He tries to manage this as easily as possible, but it’s hard. He really wants people to like him, but the staff fucks that up frequently.

Biography: Keith grew up in one of the nicest neighborhoods in London. However to afford this his parents worked nonstop, his father busy representing his country while his mother did anything but take care of her kids, leaving Keith neglected. He never really got attention as a kid from anyone except his older sister, whose bad choices rubbed off on him, leaving him to start drinking at age 11 and smoking weed at 12. Not like his parents noticed, they were busy. In his time at Rosewood his drug addiction escalated into acid and cocaine.

The only way Keith could impress his parents was through school work. This lead him to be the top of his grade throughout primary school. Although he caused trouble, he kept up the work for the ultimate cocktail of attention. His parents finally decided they needed to curb his delinquency and sent him to boarding school at age 12. He got into Rosewood on his first try, but still despised the place. Just because he was qualified to be there didn’t mean he wanted to.

Throughout the past three years, he’s tried his hardest to get kicked out of Rosewood. It never works. The staff has been trying extra hard to fix him for his parents sake. If he hadn’t been sent here for behavioral problems specifically, it would be different, but now he had dug his own grave and he needed to lie in it.

PERSONALITY: Lisbeth is very mature for her age [at least she likes to think so] and believes in taking the highroad. She has established morals and has adopted many of said morals from her parents. Its not uncommon for her to adopt a stoic persona when she considers herself “on the job” and develop some stone skin. Nothing seems to bother her and her focus is unbreakable. While she violence tends to be a last resort for her, if you mess with Rune, or anyone who she considers under her protection, you won’t get more than one warning. Despite this stone-cold demeanor, once you get to know her outside of her “duties” [or in one of her moments of weakness] you learn that there is more to her than the law abiding/enforcing mom friend on the surface.

Liz enjoys spending time with Rune and is at her absolute happiest with him. While she does her best to steer him away from dangerous activities, a part of her finds glee when her words fail and she is “forced” to engage in tasks with him. With a smile so intoxicating, when you finally crack her its hard not to grin with her. Her sense of humor is sarcastic and witty; and don’t be surprised to catch the middle finger in her presence. Her sense of adventure may seem to be lacking but instead it is just suppressed, a girl already stuck inside a system she isn’t really even a part of yet. This girl’s tongue is sharp as a tack and, even if her English is extremely poor, she isn’t afraid to argue with you about just about anything.

BIOGRAPHY: Lizzy had a rather strict upbringing. Growing up in a household run by two HMKG members turned this girl into the obedient, pre-cop character that she is today. Due to her parent’s status with the Norwegian royal family, and the need for a good example in the young prince’s life, the king was quick to introduce the two children. Ever since this event, Rune and Lisbeth have spent nearly everyday together. They are best friends and care for each other in their own, uniquely expressed ways.

Ren has an artistic streak and quite enjoys both drawing and looking at art. Being born to two diplomats influenced his way of dealing with conflicts, though most times he'll just try to avoid them all together. He wouldn't admit to being scared of conflicts — and maybe he isn't — but much prefers people to get along and would rather leave things unsaid than say something he later regrets.

He's quite emotionally intelligent and was taught at a young age how to deal with his feelings, though sometimes they still get the better of him as he is a very emotional person. Regardless, Ren makes for an excellent shoulder to cry on and he always tries his best to make his friends feel at ease.

Ren spent a large part of his childhood living in Japan with his grandparents, not moving to the UK until he was ten. It didn't take long for him to become fully fluent in english but he's still working at chipping away the little accent he does have. His grandparents made it a big deal to teach the boy how to best handle his emotions, something that Ren values to this day. Sometimes he'll get a terrible feeling of home sickness despite having lived in the UK for close to six years.

He doesn't have many bad qualities -- he does tend to be fickle about things, he's clingy, obsessive, tends to over think a lot. But other than that he's a pretty good kid.

Biography: Cosmo grew up in a family of successful people. It's almost like success just runs in his blood. Brains, charms, looks.. his family has it all . Except for Cosmo. The shortest, skinniest, and shyest of his siblings, he's the runt. His parents often forgot about their youngest child, seeing as he never really did anything extraordinary while in public school. Never got the highest marks, or the best awards. Cosmo doesn't speak up and stand out like his three older brothers, and because of this, his parents tend to pretend he just doesn't exist. Perhaps this is why they sent him off to Rosewood.
