Sebastian

TheMasked.jpg

It was astonishing how the students that had previously been saved from death, retaliated with such force. Two completely different  warriors, different fighting styles, and they were able to injury the ferocious beast. 'Looks like I was wrong... Maybe I shouldn't underestimate the students here.' Sebastian took off his monocle, placing it in his pocket as the next group was presented.

Unfortunately, his newly turned high expectations were crushed, very much like the bodies of the kids coming up next. It had been a slaughter, and many knew the obvious unfair advantage the monsters had over these fresh students. Everytime someone would be killed, the tension in the crowd got much tenser.

Sebastian's name never came up. So he just sat back, observing the deaths of many and the success of very few. Everytime the new group of students were called, his heart stopped. When it wasn't his name, it began back, painful from the halt. He was nervous, anyone would be, but not scared. Fear was based in loss, and Sebastian had nothing to loose. If his destiny was to die in this arena, then so be it. It was one of the first things his master had taught.

"Ah, here we are..." The place was dead silent. "Takara Kagushi, Tanya Mahagnei, Anne Wickham, and Theriad Hawke. Get down...." Sebastian let out his breath. Not his turn. Watching Smiley release the next monster, Sebastian sighed once more. The towering Golem looked down at the next set of student, whom weren't much to look at either. 'Divine be with you all...' He thought, pulling out his monocle and observing the newest fight.

What Theriad had just seen was not normal. It was not normal how quickly the elegant fighter took the golem down. It wasn't normal how she fought with blood magic, and it certainly wasn't normal that he felt he was just used for... bait.

The entire fight, she had stood, remaining vigilant but not lending a hand. Not until Theriad and Anne had drawn its fire enough to finally lash out and leave itself vulenrable did she begin her advance. It was as if... As if she had meant for it to be that way.

He felt used, like the teamwork he so strived for was just gone, and that it really didn't matter in the end. The efficiency that she killed the monster was absurd, and she did it at the cost of Theriad and Anne's safety.

The more he thought about it, the more he realized how quickly they could have taken out the golem in the beginning, but the group was just that strange girl's test pigs. The bait.

He let out a breath, looking at the crumbled pieces of rock stained with blood and slash marks. Finally, concluding his mental breakdown, he pulled out his cane and began walking back to the bleachers alone.

It was as if she wasn't even there in the first place. Anne was unleashing a volley of flaming arrows, pinging the golem over and over again, peppering it without end. Anne however, was starting to run out of arrows as the various canisters she kept her arrows in. Dashing carefully around the arena, or at least limping with a sense of purpose, she picked up a few missed shots and fired them back.

Though her aim was mostly true, she found it hard to hit the runes when a small blur would cover them. Realizing she had tunnel vision, she refocused, and noticed that the cane user was climbing the golem like a rock wall! She steadied her aim, plunging the arrows into the golem's eyes and head, looking to distract it in any way possible while her ally worked whatever magic he had stored up there. But it seemed to be a futile effort, as he made a leap to avoid being crushed between two hands. Just as he was about to escape, the golem seemed to calculate his landing trajectory, and meet him in the middle with a clenched fist.

She felt the blow as if she was the one who had taken it, and winced in pain for him. She then noticed movement from her rightmost side. The figure that had been standing still had finally decided to move, and move she did. She charged through an explosive volley, unscathed on the other side. She leaped many feet into the air to slice at the golem's knee as she flew upwards, bringing the creature to a kneel. Perfect for her landing, which was on the creature's neck. She placed her hand onto its neck, staving off the blackness that coated it. She leaped just as an explosion bursted from its neck, forcing it to reconcile and protect its new wound. A sort of core opened in its chest, and the deft assassin then leaped for the core, and slashed it, but not without saying a few lines of dialogue and using silly magic.

It was like she wasn't even needed within the effort of bringing down the mighty foe, as if the assassin could've done it all on her own. There wasn't any sense of teamwork here, as she took all the glory for herself in one swift blow. It wasn't right of her to think of such piteous things like 'glory', but she felt like all of it was just stolen from her. Her eyes left the assassin, her hands twitching as she did so, waiting to loose another arrow. She folded her bow, and collected her steel arrows from the rubble, before leaving, albeit painfully to sit besides the sleeping form of Skargrim. She looked quizzically down to the fallen dwarf, but payed no heed to him. She took off her shoes. The forms under her socks were already disgusting to look at, and she wept internally for her broken toes.

Smiley watched closely as he flew over towards the area where the teachers were. He landed near his seat before he eyed his sister, who was glaring at him. "What?" He said with a bit of venom in his voice. It was clear he didn't know why he was getting glared at, "What were you thinking, why did you send a parasitic demon towards the last batch of children?" Ette shouted with angry in her voice. Smiley arched a bit, staring at his sister Clowette, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Ette, please come down, I don't think yelling will help." "Well, you aren't going to say anything!" "Oh brother, you really need to get your head checked. I believe you are starting to think someone is acting talking to you." Smiley stated matter-of-factly. He knew the other teachers, well some of them. Most likely didn't like him right now, but they didn't matter. They weren't important. The Headmistress was most likely glaring at him as well, but he would solve that problem later.

The tall man turned his head towards the arena watching the current group of children fighting the corrupted golem he sent out. They shouldn't have too much of a trouble fighting that. He sighed slightly before hearing a familiar voice behind him. He blinked once before turning his horned head towards the sound, seeing it was his friend, Lord Mathias Valinor the miniature giant. He still didn't understand how that worked. It wouldn't be long until he came up to him and Sylvia with a 'small' wolf pup from his pet wolf. His red hues looked towards the magic crystal as Mathias placed it next to the wolf pup. He arched a brow as it flickered on and off. Smiley couldn't help but to chuckle at this, it was interesting, to say the least. A magical wolf, what would be born next. When Mathias offered to allow Smiley and Sylvia to study it, more or less. He was ok with that, it would be fascinating to see how this creature would react to other magic.

"Oh ha ha. I won't torture the damn thing, I'll just make sure it's comfortable as possible. The last wolf was killed by accident." He said scoffing towards his friend, waving his hand about. "But we will see if the magic in this one is natural or a mistake. Only time will tell." He added before turning towards the arena. Seeing the fight between the students and the golem, or the end of it. The students had managed to kill the creature without too much trouble. Smiley puffed his cheeks as he sighed, "Well, that was unsatisfying, I might need to spice things up next time with Golems." Smiley said looking towards Sylvia as she stated he wouldn't in a firm, yet irritated tone. Smiley just arched a brow before scoffing. "Come down woman, they are just children. Humans and certain monsters breed like cockroaches, it won't take you all long to bounce back the number of humans and monsters lost." Smiley stated with his usual grin on his face, it wasn't as scary as it would be in his actual adult form, but in the current form, he was it. It would have to do. "Now, for the next groups~" He chortled before jumping into the air and flapped his wings heading over towards the large area, hovering in the air with his arms crossed, looking at the children.

He landed on the ground as goblins were immediately dispatched to clean up the mess, picking up the large rock formations left behind. The corruption that had plagued the golem attached to Smiley as he just stood there, holding out his hands as the corrupted mass started swirling into his hand, after a while, he crushed it within his gloved hand. Smiley chuckled at the group before gesturing towards the area where The Aura Mistress was. "Go and get yourselves healed, I need to get the rest of the students in the slaughter." He said with his grin on his face. The hat on his head tilted forward as he called a new batch of students. The students came down as he unleashed their monster, a red dragon. He opened his wings and started flying, watching as the students went about trying to outrun the dragon or injure it. The Beastmaster just watched as the group struggled to stay alive. The fight lasted for a while, but soon, all the students were killed.

Smiley flew towards the dragon, gently patting its snout, "Good boy, you are doing just fine~" He said to the growling dragon. "Hey, no growling at me, no one told you to stay up all night. And don't give me that look either, I told you about the entry exams." Smiley glared towards the dragon. The dragon huffed as the goblins cleared the arena once more. Smiley continued using the dragon for the next several groups. While some were able to last the whole five minutes others were murdered through either being eaten, stomped on, or set on fire. Smiley just laughed, his wings flapping to keep his body from falling to the ground. After the last group was killed, Smiley flew towards the dragon's head, patting its head and scratched behind its ear. "You did well, but will be using a different monster for this fight." Smiley whispered before landing back on the ground. The metal bars shot out of the ground and sealed the dragon away as the cage was dragged back into the gated area. the iron gate clanked to a close as Smiley turned to the stands of kids. So far...so good.

He pulled out the list and looked at it. The next ones, he had to do this. His demeanor changed completely, his smile fading enough to where it appeared to be very solemn. He sighed before looking at the list of students and spoke up in a commanding voice. "Now that my dragon has had his fun. I will need the following students: Alexander Hamilton, Sebastian, Cassidie Casterwill, Saikin Osen. Make your way to the arena." He stated as he turned around to face the now closed gate. A shadowy snake slithered around Smiley's arm, its red eyes staring towards its master. "Tell Lyba to put the last monster back." He whispered quietly before the snake leaped off the Nightmare's arm and slither away quickly. Smiley turned around and waited for the would-be students to enter the arena.

Saikin listened in silence to all the fighting. Her body shivering a bit each time she heard the screams of the students in the arena. Her head remained low. She didn't like the sounds she was hearing or the images she was getting. So to block out the sound, she covered her ears, trying to block out the carnage. It was working, but not that much. She tried softly as she heard more and more cheering coming from the crowd. She started shaking. She was afraid now. She was hoping for all of this to end so she would have to see the images anymore. Of course, that must likely wasn't going to happen. But the dagger in her lap, concealed by her hair glowed faintly. As a way to calm her down. She moved her head slightly, turning it in the direction of the dagger.

Saikin removed her hands and gently placed them on her lap, her fingers sliding against the sleek blade. She started to feel a calm come over her. As if someone was there, she knew it was Smiley. Calming her down through his blade. A smile spread on her lips, curling her fingers around the dagger and pulled it close to her chest. Her hair moving out of the way as she lifted her head up, hearing Smiley's voice as he called for more and more students down to the fighting area Some would survive and others would die. She knew it was cruel but it was how things worked at the school. She didn't like them, but it was what had to be done. It wouldn't be long until she heard her own name called. This is where she grew concerned. Not for the monsters, but for Smiley himself. was something wrong? Did something happen to his dragon that she missed?

She turned in the direction she believed Cassidie was and spoke up, feeling her still there. "We-Well, le-let's go." Saikin said with a bit of concern and happiness in her voice The best she could do was hope thinking bad was going to happen. Saikin got up and walked to the stairs, thankfully, there was just enough noise that it started bouncing off the railing in the middle of the stairs. Saikin's fingers gliding against the railing, making sure she didn't miss a step. As she continued, Saikin placed the dagger in its sheath as she walked down to the fighting area with the others. She turned her head about, placing her hands in front of her, clasped together.

Ette just scoffed as Clow finally mattered to keep her calm. She just decided to ignore his presence altogether, just watching the students and listening to what was going on. The fighting going on in the current group was whether interesting. They seemed to be working together, but at the same time not. It was strange. Then again, it wasn't the strangest thing she had seen. Her single black hue shifted from the fighting and turned towards the newcomer. A teacher she hadn't met yet, at least she figured. Her eyes widen slightly before seeing the height of the man. Jesus Christ all mighty, he was tall. A sweat drop fell from Clowette's head as she turned away. 'Now that's just too tall.' She thought to herself, sighing softly.

However, the conversation between the newcomer, Smiley and Sylvia caught her interest. She didn't know what was going on, but it had something to do with a little wolf pup. Listening carefully, Clowette was able to figure out that the wolf pup may have magic since a crystal showed it. Clowette looked at the young pup, smiling softly as she waved at it. "Hello little one~" She said with a smile on her face. The little one was adorable, to say the least. It wouldn't be long until the fight with the Golem was over. That was fast. Clowette turned her head towards the fighting area. The golem was in pieces and the corrupted mass was still in the area. Clowette watched as Smiley went down to take the corruption away and direct the winning students to Nyla. Clowette sighed slightly, watching closely as Smiley had another batch enter the arena. From there, a dragon emerged from the monster area.

Clowette's eyes widened in shock as she watched the dragon being used to kill the batch of kids, followed by the mix of losses and victories. Clowette was more happy with the victories. It was now one of the last few fights, and she was honestly surprised to see that Smiley had sent the dragon away and stood in the arena as the combatants started walking towards the arena. Clowette tightened her fists, watching as she tried to figure out what Smiley was planning.

Another monster down with no casualties. Quite a lucky group, certainly relieved that they lived through it. But as one group leaves, a new one must replace them. There were only a few students left. It got more difficult, the later it got. Hearing the screams and watching the deaths of so many. Some of the remaining fighters looked nervous, scared, and some looked as if they were watching plants grow. But nobody looked happy, as far as Sebastian could see.

Watching another newly formed team head out, Sebastian took this time to meditate. His test would be soon, and he needed to be prepared. He thought of his family, his master, all the monsters he wanted to end. The roar of a dragon came soon after, along with death. This one was shorter than the rest, the team not standing a chance against the full sized red dragon.

Smiley stepped back into the arena. He shared words with the dragon before the creature made an exit. It hadn't even been touched. Sebastian was surprised the beast was going away, he could clearly be used again. But fighting a dragon didn't appeal to him, so he wasn't about to complain. Presenting himself yet again, Smiley Called another four to their fate. Sebastian felt shocked to hear his name, although he didn't know why. He knew it would soon be his turn, yet it made him nervous. Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, the masked man exhaled, clearing his mind.

Sebastian stood, and readjusting his hood. Looking toward the arena, paying no attention to anything else, he walked down the stands and across the arena towards Smiley. He wondered, usually the monster was already out and warming up, and this bastard would fly away, but that was not the case this time. Confused, Sebastian took out a bottle. He also took out his dagger, taking the liquid within the potion, and smearing it onto his blade. Looking up, he watched as the rest if his forced team made their way to the middle. Sliding his newly poisoned blade back in his sheathe, Sebastian then took the bow off his back and waited for the test to begin.

Alenhiem watched as the trials passed. He had a look of concern when the parasitic demon was brought out. He was clearly impressed by the one that survived and since he didn't know the skill of the school's healer he agreed that it was actually a kindness to slay the child. He frowned as he noticed something off about the golem and looked at Smiley. "Odd he cares so much for the creatures but not that.... interesting." He said and watched as the giant man came in with the wolf pup. "I'll make sure you don't kill the little pup." He said to Smiley before watching the trials continue as a fully grown dragon was brought out. His grip on his axe tightened a bit though he did not protest. He heard the odd girl with the little dragon on her shoulder gasp in awe and chuckled. "I wonder how that thing would react to finding he has a fan now?"

He continued to watch as the dragon seemed to be only doing enough to kill the ones that were foolish and cocky but only chasing the ones who took the trial seriously. He chuckled a bit every time those that already passed cheered. Though he did still have a bit of unease as he glanced between the headmistress and the other teachers specifically the two voiced girl and the giant man as Smiley waited in the arena for the group he called. "Is he going to fight them himself?!" Alenhiem asked as he looked at the headmistress. "If he is this cannot be allowed he's clearly a higher rank than any of the beasts."

Cassidie watched the fights with the parasitic demon and golem with chills as she saw just how difficult the tests were. She didn't move to leave though as she felt this school was her only option. She felt for the students who died and cheered every time some passed. She hadn't noticed that at times she was actually holding her breath. She started to dread coming here until she saw that dragon. She almost jumped over the railing as she saw it. She watched in awe at how it moved and fought making mental notes as she glanced at her tiny dragon.

With every fight she had glanced to the blind girl next to her worried if she would be okay or if she would be called. When it came down to Saiken, herself and a few others left she became even more nervous, though also excited. She couldn't wait to get closer to that dragon. When it was taken away and they were called she felt an odd tension in the air especially since the instructor stayed in the ring. She got up with Saiken and the guy in the mask. As they made their way down to the arena she was nervous about what they'd face.

Sylvia Rowen

View attachment 247363Sylvia would her a familiar voice and feel the tremors that came with the nineteen-foot tall hybrid. What was a small wolf pup to him was around the size of an adolescent wolf to normal people. One of Sylvia's brow would arch in curiosity and surprise as the wolf displayed magical prowess but of what capacity was to be seen at a later date. Smiley then mentioned having to spice things up the next round. "No" she firmly states with extreme agitation in her voice. The hand with the infused gem would begin to twitch with anger; Her left hand would cross over her lap and firmly grasp the hand, her thumb pressing down hard on the gem.

Several teachers made sure that they would help supervise Smiley, to make sure he doesn't inadvertently kill the wolf pup. This made Sylvia happy, despite Smiley being powerful they had something he didn't, strength in numbers. "We shall deal with the wolf pup after the exams have been completed."

She would watch as Smiley flew off into the arena and landed, whispering something to a little snake being that would scurry off into the colosseum. Alenheim would speak up, a tinge of concern in his voice as he questions Smiley's intentions of facing the next group of students. The headmistress would then stand, her blue-eyes narrowing at the monstrosity that stood in the sands. "This is not a part of the exam!" Sylvia's hand would rip the stone ledge, the gem in the palm of her hand glowing brilliantly. Her right hand began to layer with stone, creating a claw-like gauntlet; she was ready to fight for the safety of the students – too many have died today. Sylvia had had enough of Smiley's antics, she vaulted over the railing and into the arena. "Give them a fair test or you will force my hand." As Sylvia spoke, chunks of the earth would rise, splinter, and turn towards Smiley.

The woman would wait for his reaction, ready to defend the students and herself if the Nightmare refused to obey. She may not have enough power to take him down but that didn't stop her from challenging him.

" Aleinheim! Pleasure, to be sure." Mathias said, before looking towards Smiley, shaking his head slightly. "That's what you said about the Basilisk.....and vampiric half dragon tarrasque lich, which I still question where on this green world did you get that.....and the Spider demons....do I need to go on?" Mathias said, laughing quietly to himself. He enjoyed Smiley's dark humor, It took a strong sort of person to laugh in the face of so much despair. He may be held back by a mask, but in Mathias's eyes, Smiley was more free than any of them.

As the Trials continued, Mathias watched as the students failed to kill the Ruby-Scaled Dragon, which was honestly very sad. One dragon, a young adult even, was not that difficult to kill. A well placed spell, arrow, or even a throwing weapon, could capitalize on it's weak points and bring them down easily. Hell, if you were brave enough, you could immobilize it with a strong sword arm to the underbelly! These students wouldn't last a year if they didn't understand the basic principle 'Know your Enemy'. As the trial began again, this time Sylvia got in the way.

Mathias would pinch the bridge of his nose, a sign of frustration for the calm man, before standing. He would then step down gently onto the arena, before placing a hand on Sylvia's shoulder. "This is a part of life for mankind now....you know we cannot be soft-hearted about this.....but for your sake, I will give them a task of my own making." He said, before looking towards Smiley, and signaling for him to walk back to the stand.

Once the students had arrived, Mathias would look towards them, before whistling. Soon, Lazarus would set her litter down, and the 20ft tall and 50ft long she-wolf would jump down to her masters. Mathias would then speak up. "Lazarus has fought with me for years, and is my most trusted companion.....She will fight to kill, and I expect you to do the very same." Mathias said, before kissing the head of Lazarus. "Okay girl, this might be it....If today is the day, die with honor big girl." Mathias whispered, as the she-wolf affectionately licked her face. He would then send a cold look towards Smiley.

One of the things they agreed on? This world was unkind, and they had to either fight to stay alive...or die. For him to show preferential treatment, for whatever reason, was hypocritical.

"Alistair, you know the way this world works....Either you fight for the right to survive, or die. These are supposed to be the next defenders of the world, we cannot coddle them." He said to him. He liked Smiley, he was one of his closest friends, but Mathias was a man of conviction, and you couldn't let sentiment cloud judgement.

When the teacher came down, and started ranting to the masked male, Alex would just scoff. "Come on woman, we're here to fight monsters! I can assure you, I am more than capable of handling anything that masked sub-creature can throw at us. " Alex said. When the wolf came down, Alex would hold up his hand, as the four dynamo's made their way above him. Alex would have a cocky smile on his face.

"Dynamo's? Check. Heh, this mongrel shouldn't take long. " He said, as they began charging.

Smiley stood in the arena, waiting for the small band of students to make their way there. He blinked his purple hues as he watched them. Saikin and Cassidie made their way down the stairs while the other...what the hell did he just do? Smiley turned his attention towards the young man he assumed was Alex as he started walking down the strange floating devices. They weren't stairs he knew that. His hand was placed on his hip as the students stood before him. The Nightmare eyed them, taking in each detail about them. Aside from the weirdo, they all looked normal. Smiley looked at Saikin, lowering his head slightly as his bangs covered his face before pulling off his hat. He dropped his arm, letting it dangle before looking up towards the children.

However, before he could even say anything, he felt a presence coming from the teacher's observation area of the large arena. He whipped his head in the direction, following it as the person landed in between him and the children. It was Sylvia. His purple eyes narrowed slightly as a soft growl left his throat. 'Slowly, but surely. I might end up getting an ulcer from this woman.' He thought to himself. Large chunks of earth were hoisted into the air by Slyvia's power as they were aimed towards him. Smiley's quiet growl only grew louder, his claws sharpening before hearing another voice. A male. He blinked once and looked over to see Mathias speaking to Sylvia. Preaching to her they shouldn't be so soft-hearted. Honestly, Smiley did it because he found it funny, but Smiley decided to keep that thought to himself.

Unfortunately he was slowly getting irritated. He lifted his hand and placed his hat back on his head. His eyes lighting up as a purple spark swirled around him. It wouldn't be long until his own form started shifting. The bright colors he had started shifting and became darker, duller. His hat fused with the coat he wore before it turned into a hood. The jacket fused together and turned into a hoodie. His hands became flesh as a tail sprouted from his back, two large blades sprung out. The green accents on the tail glowed brightly as small spikes popped out of the hood followed by a large portion of brown hair. His eyes glowed the same green color his tail was as his clothes became long and slightly cloak-like. There was a large hole in the side, revealing the interior of the clothes was nothing but grayish white bones. Most likely damage he had from Sylvia whenever they got into a fight.

CfniP0ZW8AEG2U5.jpg

Smiley placed his newly formed fleshy hands on hips and spoke with a different tone, one which was more grim sounding. A combination of a demon speaking and a person who was possessed. "Mathias, thanks for volunteering, Lazarus, but I can handle a small batch of children. Besides, it would be unfortunate if I had to use Lazarus for one of my little experiments." Smiley said before turning his attention towards Sylvia, one of his claws tapping on the hipbone. "Fair test? Really? You wanna talk about fair. I threw a parasite demon and a Red Ruby Dragon at the children and you did nothing. Now that I want to see what the children can do myself, you want to say something. Listen, I'm only doing what human traditions are telling me. When you cut down to the basic, you are basically slaughtering children for the amusement of others. If you and the others had such a big problem with it then you, little Ally(Alenhiem), Clowette-to whom I'm still questioning why she is here-, Cat boy(Ryosuke), and healing chick would have stopped me a long time ago. And yet, you didn't. You standing up against me would go against the traditions you and the humans before you decided. So, I will ask, would you and Mathias, as well as Lazarus, kindly get out of my arena." Smiley chuckled evilly, gesturing with his hand towards the observation area for the teachers.

Smiley's shrouded head soon turned to face Alex, his eyes narrowing towards him once he heard his comment. Seeing what he was doing before huffing a bit. "I was not going to kill the students here, but I might get rid of one." He hissed as he glared towards the young lad. His claws sharpening, his tail swaying left and right. 'Now, I just need to figure out a way to get Saikin out of the fighting.' He thought to himself, blinking his glowing hues once as he waiting for Mathias and Sylvia to leave, but knowing Syl, she most likely wasn't. But, it's worth a shot to see what will happen.

Saikin stood there with her hands clasped together. She didn't hear the monster come out, she didn't hear the door. She turned her head upward in the direction of the gate, noticing from the noise bouncing off of it that it was closed. Smiley was still standing in the arena with them. She wanted to run up and hug him, but she didn't want to embarrass him or herself. She lowered her head, suddenly feeling the ground tremble, Saikin wobbled about as she looked towards the ground then back up, hearing the woman from the beginning of the trails speak up, and she didn't sound happy. Saikin placed her hands on her chest, very confused why she jumped into the arena until she heard her say to give them a fair fight. The blind girl looked around a bit, trying to see if there was a monster out that she didn't see. Nothing.

Saikin looked ahead, hearing the conversation escalate until she heard another male voice. She turned her head slightly in the direction of the sound. Her body shivering due to the size she was envisioning as she moved away slightly. It wouldn't be long until she noticed the other one, a large creature with the other male. A wolf? That is a very big wolf. Saikin gulped quietly as she remained silent. Of course, when she heard Smiley's voice, she had calmed down a bit. But she did hear how upset he was. She shivered a bit in fear. Smiley sounded as if she wanted to kill them. Preaching about the traditions of Scholomance, saying how there were alternatives but death was chosen. The dark skinned female shook before hearing a young man speak.

She turned her head slightly, looking in the direction. Saikin stared for a moment hearing his tone. He sounded very arrogant. He had the same kind of tone as someone she had to deal with before. She shook her head to get rid of the unpleasant memory before looking towards the ground. Remaining silent and fighting the urge to run up to Smiley and give him a hug.
