Passive Combat Skills

POWER

Description: The POWER skill measures the striking force of ATK DICE.
First-time players will all start with the basic 1 HP damage rate.
Unlocking more POWER increases that rate for each ATK DICE.
Not applicable to Ranged fighters. There are 4 levels of POWER.

SPEED
Description: The SPEED skill measures the distance a player can traverse while in Combat within a single post.
First-time players will begin with 20m per post. Each level of SPEED unlocked adds an additional 20m.
In addition, each SPEED level unlocked grants the player access to get another EVA die.
During Combat, to move a character from location A to B you must use CCA. Every 20 will cost 2 CCA.
Cost: Each level costs 10 TP. There are 4 levels.

REACTION
Description: REACTION skill determines the players speed compared to other players or NPCs.
Higher REACTION skills enable players to see who can strike first in combat. Players do not start off with any REACTION skill.
First strike is determined by higher die roll until REACTION skills are unlocked.
Cost: Each level costs 10 TP . There are 10 levels

JUMP
Description: JUMP allows players to cover a certain height distance in the Roleplay.
All players start off with no JUMP skill. They can jump anywhere less than 1m.
Each JUMP skill level increases the height distance by 5m.
During Combat, to use the JUMP skill requires the use of CCA. 1 CCA will cover 5m
Cost: Each level costs 5 TP. There are 5 levels

RANGE
Description: RANGE skill applies to Artes that can be projected, weapon types such as bows/firearms or objects that can be thrown.
For Bow and firearms, players usually have a cap of 50m. RANGE skill is added on to the weapons range.
Characters start off with a 5m RANGE. RANGE skill limit is 100m/150m for applicable weapon types.
Each RANGE skill level increases RANGE by 5m.
Cost: 5 TP per level

TARGETING
Description: TARGETING skill allows your character to apply combat actions towards a specific target.
There are 4 types of targeting: FOCUS/ AIM / ARRAY/ AREA

Target FOCUS
This skill is meant to augment your targeting of allies for support purposes.
Unlocking this skill allows you to target max. 3 allies in a single post.
Cost: 10 TP

Target AIM
This skill is meant to augment your targeting of enemies for combat actions.
Unlocking this skill allows you to target max 3 enemies in a single post.
Cost: 10 TP

Target ARRAY
This skill is meant to augment your targeting of both enemies and allies for actions.
Unlocking this skill allows you to target max 2 enemies and 2 allies in a single post.
Cost: 20 TP

Target AREA
This skill provides an area of effect to artes only. All targets within your RANGE skill will be targeted for the action.
This skill allows for friendly fire. The appropriate amount of CCA and SE is needed to complete this effect.

Limit Breaker

Elements:

Description: The use of elements you do not possess. Cannot be applied to Non-human Characters
Limit: A character's affinity to elements is limited to 7
Price:
First element chosen will cost 25 Token Points
Second element chosen will cost 35 TP
Third element chosen will cost 45 TP


Arte Types:

Description: Enable the use of Arte Types outside your Characters class. Cannot be applied to Non-human characters.
Cost: 25 Token Points each


Rank Succession:
Description: Once you've acquired all five personal artes you have created for your character you may purchase a 'Rank Succession tech'. This tech allows you to move onto the next set of personal artes you may create. All personal arte lists must be submitted to the GM for review and approval.

Your creation of the next set of Artes will follow the same order as the one in your character sheet. The list will be in ascending order from weakest to strongest. The cost will be the same as the last list you submitted. Here are the Rank Bonuses:

Rank 1: As a bonus for ranking up, your First set of techs are all reduced by 1/3. Thus your points count should be as follow; from 6,12,18,24,30 to 4,8,12,16,20

Your character now has access to unlock a new Set of Artes

Rank 1.5 : Optional. All your Artes from your first list have the current cost subtracted by the Arte lvl. E.G. : Arte level 4 = 16 SE, with the Rank1.5 Arte level 4 = 10

Rank 2: As a bonus for ranking up, your Second set of techs are all reduced by 1/3. Thus your points count should be as follow; from 6,12,18,24,30 to 4,8,12,16,20

Your character now has access to unlock a new Set of Artes

Rank 2.5 Optional. All your Artes from your Second list have the current cost subtracted by the Arte lvl. E.G. : Arte level 4 = 16 SE, with the Rank1.5 Arte level 4 = 10

IC-wise there does not have to be much change for a rank up. However you are allowed appearance changes of some sort if you wish or something along those lines that adds to the uniquesness of your character. A light aura glow, a formation in the eyes, a change of costume, these will signify that you are able to use a whole new set of techs. The appearance change will in no way enhance any of your characters abilities.

Spirit Force
History: Spirit Force is the strongest known ability on Elegos. It is said that all of ones spirit energy is gathered into a single burst of power. Undodgeable, Unblockable the miracle of the greatest ability ever known.

Description: The downside to using this powerful yet forbidden technique is that it drains the life of a person. The immediate effects render your character dormant so to speak for a few days. Because of this, the attack is undodgeable, it cannot be defended against, nor countered in anyway ( exceptions are made according to storyline and the GM.

Requirements: 50 SE Energy Reserve / Achieved Rank 1 Succession / Human Character
Price: 100 points ( Must be approved by GM )

Energy Sensing

Energy Sensing is a useful mechanic.

All character Classes can reach up to Energy Sensing lvl 3

Levels above that need to be taught by a specified Character in the RP

Non-Human Character cannot go above 5


Energy Sensing lvl 1
Description: The ability to sense Spirit Energy in a very general way. In essence allows you awareness of spirit energy in your surroundings. Your max range is 20m.
Price: 10 TP


Energy Sensing lvl 2
Description: The ability to sense Spirit Energy. Aside from what you gained with lvl 1, you are now able to determine if spirit energy is coming from humans. Your max range is 40m. You gain 1 points of energy reserve when you execute a spirit arte in your post.

Energy Sensing lvl 3
Description: The ability to sense Spirit Energy. Aside from what you gained in the previous lvls, you are now able to recognize differences of the amount of spirit energy around you. Your max range is 60m.
Price: 30 TP

Energy Sensing lvl 4
Description: The ability to sense Spirit Energy. Aside from what you gained in the previous lvls, you are now able to recognize the energy signature of your comrades. Your max range is 80m. You gain 2 points of energy reserve when you execute a spirit arte in your post.

Description: The ability to sense Spirit Energy. Aside from what you gained in the previous lvls, you are now able to see how much spirit energy remains in your allies and how strong an Arte your opponent uses. Your max range is 100m.

Description: The ability to sense Spirit Energy. Aside from what you gained in the previous lvls, you are now able to recognize temporarily ( 1 day ) the energy signature of strangers and others. Description: The ability to sense Spirit Energy. Aside from what you gained in the previous lvls, you are now able to recognize the energy signature of others and it will not vanish overtime. Your max range is 175m. You gain 4 points of energy reserve when you execute a spirit arte in your post.

Description: The ability to sense Spirit Energy. Aside from what you gained in the previous lvls, Your max range is 200m.

Energy Sensing lvl 10
Description: The ability to sense Spirit Energy. Aside from what you gained in the previous lvls, you gain the ability to use the spirit force ( You must purchase it from the shop ) and not become exhausted from it's use. The power requirements are now 75 points. Your max range is 300m. You gain 5 points of energy reserve when you execute a spirit arte in your post.

Description: A personal item you have or will obtain that is imbued with a special ability
Cost: 20 TP
Must be approved by the GM

Items:
Items can be used during Engagement Scenarios. When engaged a character has to set items to use in battle. The maximum items characters can carry is 3, which can be increased latter on. Characters have a minimum of 1 item slot to use an item. Additional slots may be purchased with a characters maximum slots being 4. Once you reach the maximum number of item slots you can continue to purchase any items, however you will not be able to use all of them at once. You must switch out your item slots items to use any others.

Description: Stiking Stars were made famous by Asakaze Village's great warriors; Shinobi (30)
How to Use: These projectiles are thrown in batches of 3. Each Batch uses 3 CCA and does 1HP damage per striking star. Roll 1D6: 1,2= 1 stars / 3,4= 2 stars / 5,6= 3 stars

Description: This weapon originate from the indigens of the Western Empire. (5)
