Hello, I'm seeking roleplay as you've no doubt guessed. Mainly I write adventure and action with some pockets of slice-of-life for cozy character building. Somewhere below are a mix of plot ideas and my incoherent ramblings that could become plots. I can go into more details if any of it catches your interest. Also up for any ideas you might have. I'm not the best at writing ads, but I have been roleplaying for a few years now. I can GM too or at least something close to it.
As for my writing style, it is 3rd person. I am comfortable writing multiple paragraphs at a time. Writing multiple characters is fun for me, and so is playing npcs. Also I favor playing monstrous or non-human characters. Please message if anything catches your interest.
Rules:
No one-liners.
I only rp with other adults so be 20+.

1. A fantasy world has progressed to the modern age. While elements such as magic, divine influence, and monsters are still around, they've become weaker over the centuries. All the most fantastical events have faded to legends and myths. That is until one day, everything surges back. Long-dead figures of history walk the world again. Artifacts that were once dormant flare back to full power. Monsters from the darkest of places start to skulk the lands once more.
For example. A sorcerer king whose realm once reached every corner of the known world strolls into a current nation's capital. He demands supplication as he ruled once, so shall he rule again. As he is speaking in a dead language though. No one can understand him. If he should learn about the concept of democracy, he would laugh. Once he learned they were serious, he would laugh harder.
2. This one isn't exactly original. Basically Forgotten Realms fast-forwarded a few tech levels. An early industrial age bringing new opportunities and no shortage of problems. So here's a few ideas for that. A factory powered by the fires of hells via stable portals. Does it come with obvious and significant risk? Yes, but think of the savings! Kobolds are starting to unionize. As if working for a dragon isn't a reward in itself. They actually want things like fair pay, safer working conditions, and basic dignity. The audacity! Druids and the fae look upon this new era of iron and smoke with growing rage. As the natural world is befouled in the name of progress, they scheme to restore the balance.
3. Long ago an unspeakable evil was unleashed upon the world. A cruel, malevolent darkness that gleefully subjected all in its path. As with most tales like this one, mighty heroes rose up to challenge the foe. ..They all died. Most of them quite horribly at that. After, the evil conquered everything that was, is, and would be. In that victory though, a bitter truth was soon found. Winning was boring!
What was a dark entity made for conquest and villainy to do after total victory? There was nothing left to invade and, there was no point in pure destruction anymore. The evil would only be breaking its own stuff. No great hero was going to emerge again either. The populace had already accepted the dark one's rule. Any dissenters were taken care of before they could become even remotely threatening. Even the usually duplicitous minions of the darkness had given up ideas of treachery. The evil saw only a future of unchallenged rule and wept.
One day however, the evil had a terribly wonderful idea. Why not simply create a hero? The first step would be to find some random commoner, disguise as some gaudy god of justice or whatever, and make up a vague prophecy about them being the chosen one. Then with a helping of its own power, the evil would set them on a hero's journey. A quest that should make them a challenge by the end of it. The dark one would be trailing the hero's shadow. After all, it'd be a waste if they were knifed by a vagrant a few feet from town.
1. The good doctor has disappeared from the world. Not a trace of him has been seen in almost a year. Before the cautious hope that he was gone forever could take hold, twelve Egg Bosses emerged to lay claim to his empire. With the remnants of his vast arsenal, they vie for complete global conquest. Power, greed, ambition, rage, fear, infatuation, desperation. All these and more drive forth the endless mechanical march.
2. You ever want to be a jobber? Then we can have a story about joining GUN. Ever want to be a villain? Then a story about joining up with Eggman or being an independent evil. Being a menace is fun.
3. There's also a Stardew Valley-esque idea I had. Replace the villagers with Sonic style characters and switch the Junimo with chao. Boom! Million dollar game idea or at least it might be a fun rp.
1. "Commander, we have a situation."
It's been years since the fall of Advent and the Elder's retreat from Earth. While the planet celebrates it's hard won freedom, its all too clear that the world will never be the same again. Across the globe are no shortage of issues. Psionic powers have awakened in humanity, landscapes have been altered to alien flora, hordes of the Lost infest the cities of old, and perhaps most pressing are the remnants of the alien forces. Without the leadership of the ethereals, the once domineering forces of Advent have been reduced to scattered holdouts. Then there's the question of what to do with the captured aliens. The Skirmishers who fought side by side with XCOM are hoping for eventual peaceful integration. That seems almost like a pipe dream though. No one is going to forget the horrors committed during the occupation. In any case, XCOM command wants to avoid any situation where the enemy gains a figurehead to rally behind or worse find that there's an Elder left to take back control.
Lately there's been rumors about an exceptionally powerful sectoid managing to gather a cult-like following of disenfranchised psionics. They've been calling him the Apostle. With the general distrust towards psionics, its simple for him to manipulate and mislead. He's got people believing the Elder are gods who generously uplifted humanity to it's true potential. So, he's a strong psionic, makes grandiose speeches about the ethereals, and he's blue.
Intel on the remains of Advent suggests that they're starting to see this so called Apostle as something close to the Chosen. It's not simply raw charisma winning them over to his side either. There's a disturbing implication in his speeches that he knows where an ethereal is. If an Elder is still on Earth then its capture or removal is top priority. One acting with impunity would severely undermine Earth's restoration or could even tip the scales back into Advent's favor. Before planning for the worst though, this sectoid should be taken alive. Hopefully it's a load of hot air if not then we brace for the fallout.
2. Live the life of a scavenger during or under alien occupation in a post-apocalypse world.
No plot ideas for these yet.
Legend of Zelda
Hollow Knight (I do have characters for this one.)
