Jandra's triple pulse lances out and hits the Shock Trooper, scorching armor but not destroying the target.

In response, Shock Troopers 4 and 5 both fire on Jandra. Unless you have any actions left, they will both hit for a total of 80 MD to your main body.

Shock Troopers 7-10 fire on the pair of Charlie and John, and three of the four will hit unless Charlie dodges.

Seeing the incoming fire, Charlie jerks the stock to the side, to roll the combined fighter out of danger.

In essence, combat is rather simple - you land your hits, and dodge the foes' fire. Thus far, Milo took care of the latter - as the shots come in this time, Jandra takes control instead. "Getting us out of their line of fire, watch the radar for more - over." A slight adjustment to the right, followed by a turn in the opposite direction; as quick as the two combined Veritech can manage, and hopefully enough to dodge the shots.

Two more actions left if I'm not mistaken.

Despite the best efforts of Charlie, the three Invid hit the two of you. Charlie takes a total of 80 MD, and John gets another 20 MD done to his Alpha.

Jandra manages to evade her attackers with ease.

Shock Troopers 12-15 turn and fire at Cyrus, and they will hit unless you dodge.

MrSaturnUL MrSaturnUL is up with Cyrus. You have your attack and a dodge to attempt.

The Shock Troopers that went after him.... They somehow caused a chill up his spine. For a moment, he felt fear tingle his bones....
That or the idea of recklessness would get him, but either way. He would attempt a dodge from the Shock Troops and when the results of that attempt happens, he'd shoot a 5-missile volley of MM-20's at an Invid ship. (Shock Troop 13)

(24 for a dodge, 11 for 380 damage.)

Cyrus' evasion effort is successful, and you are able to avoid all the incoming fire. In return, your missile strike slams into a Shock Trooper and blasts it to bits. Another one down.

Her lips twitch as Jandra avoids the incoming fire, the hint of a grim smile - that's all she can manage before turning right back, gun pods blazing to finish the one she hit prior. The radar shows the Invid numbers dwindle, though there's still more than zero, and thus too many.

As the explosion rocked her hull, she was hurriedly lining up another volley of missiles. Returning fire!

Not much to say or think about his situation.... Other than the fact he has flock of Invid at his neck, he started to think a little more clearly. He decided to continue at that flock (Shock Troop 13-15), shooting 2 MM-16 missiles.

(13 for 110.)

One more down, yet still more to go; some already damaged, at least. The Zentraedian pilot changes course once more, taking aim at Trooper 7; with blazing guns, she tries to finish the job. "Coming in, Charlie - count this one as yours."

The Shock Trooper that Jandra targeted explodes in a bright flash. One less to worry about.

John decides to try another missile volley, and launches four of his HEAP missiles at Shock Trooper 5. "C'mon, Snake Eyes! Lets thin the numbers out a bit!"

He pulls the trigger, but nothing happens! "Shit! Misfire! Give me a second to clear this up."

Sherwood Sherwood , The missiles are still in your launch tubes. You can attempt a percentile roll to clear the misfire and not lose your ammo. Since you don't have Weapon Systems as a skill, your target number is 3x your Iq. This will also take up an action, so it is up to you if you want to do it now or hold off.

If not already taken care of, would it be possible for Charlie to relaunch them? Or would it be either a fix(and not fire) or fire her own type of deal?

It would take a Weapon Systems roll, and if you don't have the skill, it would default to Iq x3 and use up an action.

I do not have Weapon systems. So it would be a 69% (78% if the IQ bonus factors in).

Would the missiles fire on a successful roll?

Not yet. Right now, they have misfired, and need to be reset before they can be used. Right now, Sherwood's payload is effectively down the four missiles until they are 'fixed'. If you make the roll, they can then be fired later on.

You can either try a fix, or make an attack yourself using your own weapons. Up to you.
 
I still have 52 missiles in my payload that are usable. I can wait on getting the missiles fixed up until after this fight is over.
