Robotech - The Invid War - IC

[Still here, I just work this week.]

Mike still not used to managing the arsenal of the beta opts for the EU 13 laser of the Alpha, leveling it at Enforcer one, checking his shot vector and pulling the trigger.
 
The Eu-13 barks out a deadly spray of bolts and it hits the Enforcer hard, doing solid damage. Its armor is still holding, even with the hit.

Jandra adjusts the flight path ever so slightly, waits for the target system to do its work; takes patience to not fire right away, as soon as the Invids are in sight, but three guns hitting at once should be a decent payoff. "Milo, I'll try to keep us out of danger; shoot them down when you find an opening."

22 to hit, 90 damage if it lands.

Jandra's triple blast hits the Invid Enforcer hard, but its armor is thick and is holding strong.

Enforcer 1 lines up a shot at Jandra, but Milo is able to take control of the dual fighter from his Beta and dodges, keeping you out of the line of fire.

Enforcer 2 fires at Mike, but its shot goes wide and to the left. (rolled a 3)

Shock Troopers 1-5 decide to target Charlie and John, and will hit unless you dodge.

Shock Troopers 6-10 fire on Mike. They will hit unless you dodge.

D. Rex D. Rex and Sherwood Sherwood are up, and you along with Rykon Rykon have a defense to declare.

Seeing the incoming fire, Blackjack calls out, "I got this, Snake Eyes. Hit those bastards with some serious missile action, and I'll keep us clear of the fire." He works the controls of the combined fighters to get out of the way of the Shock Troopers attacks.

Michael attempts to dodge by rolling in a spiral to maintain his aim while linking the beta cannons for a triple burst.

"Serious missile action." Charlie repeated, sighting the trackkn computer on the invid bundle, trusting Blackjack to keep them safe.

With a flick of a switch she armed the pods on her hardpoints range. "Eight small. Launching." She pulled the trigger, and as Blackjack weaved through the fire, the missile bays opened to fire off a volley of mini missiles at the Shocktrooper cluster.

The eight mini-missiles fly out towards the Shock Troopers and slam into one, blowing it to pieces.

Shock Troopers 11-15 fire off a spray of plasma disks at the pair of Charlie and John, and they will hit unless someone dodges.

Rykon Rykon is up, and either D. Rex D. Rex or Sherwood Sherwood need to post a dodge.

With how much damage these Invids seem to take, missiles might be the way to go; a volley of eight of them is sent on its way, aiming for the second Enforcer.

Typo in the damage thingie: 8 times 2d6., damage total 610 if they hit.
 
The eight short range missiles fly out and slam into the Enforcer, shattering its armor and blasting it to pieces quite nicely.

Shock Troopers 2-5 take aim at Charlie and John, and they will hit unless you dodge.

Milo decides to try his luck with four of his HEAP short range missiles against Shock Trooper 6 and scores a direct hit, destroying the Invid.

In response, Shock Troopers 7-10 turn their attention to the pair of Jandra and Milo, but Milo is able to dodge out of the way.

John sees that the four missiles launched by Milo took out the Shock Trooper, and says, "It looks like the smaller ones take a lot less to kill. Let me give it a try!" With that, he locks on with a four pack of his missiles on Shock Trooper 11.

On the outside of the battle, more specifically inside the Arwyn, a black haired Caucasian male could be found outside the infirmary, with a slightly bloody bandage wrapped around his waist, maintaining a soft pink color toward the side, but the rest of it having a boney white exterior to it. Having an exasperated sigh, he, who was known as Cyrus Adams, started wagging a finger around like a metronome, and started singing to himself as he walked around the ship to get a better feel for the place.
"And in the new day, I know I'm A-OK...."
In his thoughts, he didn't recall where it was he was supposed to meet his crew, or if he would still be stationed there in the first place, and quite an amount of the team were on a mission, one of which he couldn't participate in due to his recent injury, which was just a simple gash. In the meantime, after his fancy was taken by a somewhat interesting view outside, he would make his way to his quarters, keeping an open ear for anyone who would try to speak with him.
