Damien was born the son of a fanatical reverend who headed up a polygamist cult in the upper hills of Puerto Rico. Damien's father, Dr. Miguel Joaquin Alvarado, founded the Latter Day Prophets, a dangerous fire and brimstone religious sect that focused on polygamy as one of it's main tenets. Dr. Alvarado had over a dozen wives and had fathered at least one hundred children. At the age of fourteen, Damien escaped the cult, making his way to New York to live with one of his uncles. The Latter Day Prophets furiously searched for Damien, but with the help of his uncle, the young man evaded them for over sixteen years. During that time, Damien was determined to bring down his father's dangerous cult. He graduated with honors and immediately went into law enforcement. Within only the span of a few years, Damien joined a prestigious precinct in upstate New York and became a top detective. The culmination of all his hard work resulted in Damien arresting his father and in so doing, finally dismantling The Latter Day Prophets.
Only a few months after he had brought down the dangerous polygamists, Damien was kidnapped by a secret sect of holy knights known as The Ordainis. The centuries old order, had literally dedicated themselves to fighting off doomsday and a near omnipotent arch demon they called Baphomet. The end of days prophecies were set to be fulfilled and The Ordainis had suffered catastrophic losses. Knowing that their annihilation was a foregone conclusion, they set in motion a plan that they hoped would buy the world a little more time. Damien was part of near extinct bloodline that descended from Eshara, the first born half demon daughter of Cain and Lilith. Along with three others they had abducted, Damien underwent an agonizing ritual that would merge his very spirit with the demonic essence of one of the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse. As fate would have it, the ritual was successful and Damien was joined with the demon Zeraster, the Horseman of War. In the ensuing melee, the remaining Ordainis were wiped out and Damien and the others were tasked with carrying on the fight against Baphomet. With his top generals now merged with the souls of four mortals, Baphomet's plans have been sidelined, for now. Damien and the others now must find the legendary Two Witnesses mentioned in the Book of Revelation, for they hold the key to averting the end of days.

Alana is the daughter of two Japanese immigrants who were on the run from the notorious Yakuza Syndicate. Alana's father, Noriyoshi Kenshin, was a top informant for the cartel but who was made a target by The Yakuza when it was determined that he knew too much. Noriyoshi fled to the United States with his wife and young daughter when Alana was only a few weeks old. For the next five years, the family lived deep in hiding when Yakuza hitmen, finally tracked them down. Noriyoshi was gunned down in front of his family, but luckily the police responded just in time to prevent Alana and her mother from sharing Noriyoshi's fate. However from that point on, Alana's life would continue to spiral downward as her mother began to drink heavily. At the age of seven and only two years after her father was murdered, Alana's mother would commit suicide. Remanded to foster care, Alana would eventually be adopted by an Army Colonel named Richard Quentin and his wife.
Taking a firm hand, Colonel Quentin would drastically turn the little girl's life around for the better. He instilled discipline, drive and a strong will and by the time Alana graduated high school, she was the very picture of excellence. Using Quentin's connections, Alana enrolled straight into the prestigious West Point Academy to honor her adopted father in his chosen military profession. She graduated with full honors and was on a fast track to becoming a rising star in the United States Army. Indeed at the age of only 32, she's already risen to the rank of Major and is highly decorated with three tours of duty in Afghanistan, Libya and Oman. But underneath it all a storm was brewing as Colonel Quentin had been secretly battling an aggressive form of cancer. By the time he finally sought help, it was too late. Only ten months after he was officially diagnosed, Colonel Quentin died at the age of 71. As Alana left the hospital, devastated by her loss, she was unexpectedly abducted by a centuries old order of Holy Knights known as The Ordainis. Turns out Alana was part of a near extinct bloodline that were directly descended from Eshara, the first born daughter of Cain and Lilith. In their battle against an evil entity called Baphomet, The Ordainis were facing almost complete defeat in their attempts to thwart doomsday. In a last ditch effort to delay the end of days, The Ordainis managed to track down the last living remnants of the Eshara lineage. Their plan, to perform an archaic ritual that would merge four living mortals with the demonic spirits of the legendary Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. This would rob Baphomet of his top demon generals while at the same time imbuing mortal souls with hellish powers the likes of which could be scarcely imagined. Perhaps it was cruel fate that Alana had her soul merged with the powerful demon Al-Shaytan, The Horseman of Pestilence. Shortly after the ritual was performed, The Ordainis succumbed to Baphomet's forces and Alana as well as three others, found themselves taking up the fight. They have been tasked with finding the Two Witnesses mentioned in the book of Revelation or all Hell will be unleashed upon The Earth.
