One year ago, the four of us were just ordinary people trying to make our way in the world, until our realty was completely flipped upside down. Apparently we were all part of an ancient and dying bloodline that descended directly from Eshara, the first daughter of Cain. The Ordainis, an order of holy knights sanctioned by the Catholic Church were on the very brink of extinction in their fight against Baphomet, a near omnipotent entity that commanded the forces of Hell. In a last ditch effort to stave off the end of days before they were snuffed out, The Ordainis rounded up the very last modern day survivors of The Eshara Bloodline, namely us. Their plan was to perform an archaic ritual that would merge our mortal souls with four powerful demonic spirits...Abbadon, Al-Shaytan, Zeraster and Kara-Thule, the legendary Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. They were successful, but at great cost. The Ordainis has been wiped out by Baphomet's forces, however his plans to unleash the apocalypse have been hampered, temporarily anyway. We four unwitting vessels now find that it is up to us to carry on the fight. We have been tasked to find the Two Witnesses mentioned in the book of Revelation that will supposedly summon an angelic army to wage war on Baphomet. Armed with all the demonic powers of the Four Horsemen at our disposal, we are now all that stands against the legions of Hell. Fighting on the side of good, we find it a tremendous struggle to contain the monstrous demons that now reside within us. In defiance of Baphomet, we now call ourselves The Dire Four. Using these powers, our strength of will and our God given edict, we will stop the end of days, no matter what.

So this will be a modern day RP centered around four mortals that have taken on the roles of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, but who have chosen to fight against the forces of Hell. I as GM, will be playing the role of the Horseman of War, my character's soul being merged with the demon Zeraster. I need three more players to fill the three remaining Horsemen. Anyone else who wishes to participate in the RP after the Horsemen roles have been filled may do so as either Human, Angel, Demon or any combo as this RP will contain a number of different supernatural creatures. First come, first serve for the roles of the Horsemen, which I will post and update below. Looking forward to gaining some interest.
