Story Repeated and Reversed Opera of Cognitive Dissonance - Lovecraft x KAITO (Vocaloid) Crossover

It was night, the very essence of life withdrawn. Nothing was above a whisper. The powerline humming, crickets and frogs chirping. Off the edge of a cliff, KAITO took a step forward to the edge. Viewing the city with adoration. The stars were loomy and the skies were clean.

Deciding this is the perfect time, he decided to sing one of his songs "Rainy Snowdrops":

声を上げろ (Raise your voice)
黙った僕の存在意義なんて (There isn't any reason for me to exist)
どこにもないんだ (If I'm silent)

The world heard that. While not very noticeable. KAITO could feel an eldritch presence. As if something happened. The skies got darker for a few minutes. The moon covered for a solid half an hour. His voice echoed throughout the city, it wasn't heard however, almost as if he didn't exist..

The winds carried through, their verdicts final. The city hummed softly.
KAITO started getting suspicious, what's going on? Is this some sort of joke? By who? Why? What? It never made sense. To confirm his suspicions, he decided to sing another portion of a song.

一年に一度きりの冬の魔法 (A winter magic once a year)

And then the world inadvertently shifted... It was suddenly much warmer, the cold suddenly gone. Something was up. There was a sudden gnawing feeling of something incomprehensible in the city. An eldritch presence, so to speak.

KAITO was getting increasingly paranoid, what, was happening? Without any other options however. He decided to go down to the outskirts of the city.

Down on the outskirts, an utmost feeling of rugged familiarity came. Déjà vu, so to speak. A small house, made of broken white wood, dusty. It loomed over the horizon. Once KAITO stepped inside, he could fe the air rancid, it was almost disgusting. The stench of a dead body was constant.

Once in the centre of the house, he began to sing, this time, opera. The air changed, more stiff. KAITO's eyes widened as he overheard something he should have not overheard.
