Lottery Winners
Congratulations!
Congratulations! Your ticket has been picked for this year's Relationship Program. Get ready for a long year of adventure and new connections. Normally we have a full group of strangers, but this year seems to bring something different as a pair of siblings were lucky to be picked out together.

Now, you have a month to get things straightened out before meeting at JFK Airpot. You will be sent another email with your tickets to come into New York City a day before the sendoff. Rooms will be provided for your overnight stay.

On Day 0, you are to arrive at JFK once more between 4 pm and 6 pm. There, a guide will direct you toward the plane and await departure once everyone is accounted for. The location of the first stop will be announced there, along with any rules that need to be provided for the group.

We hope you enjoy what is in store for you.

Day 0 - Sendoff
JFK Airport

Day 0 has finally came. So many reporters have been covering the renewal of the lottery. With the usual business of the airport, it felt worse with the group of journalist holding on the hope of getting a glimpse of the lucky twelve that will be going on the ride of their life. Security officers were holding off the group that was trying to get inside, but the foot traffic was making it hard for others to get access to the airport to do their own travels. It was pure chaos outside.

Getting past the crowd and security officers is the hardest part of getting on the plane. At the entrance, signs with the letter's LC and the phrase Relationship Program Winners directed the twelve participants to the right side of the airport where a small group of guides in Maroon Uniforms where waiting to attend to them. Ahead guide will be there to take their names and assign them a guide to escort the individual to the group of carts waiting to take them to the private plane out on the runway. Taking the side areas and heading out back, the cart parks just outside the stairs leading inside.

The private plane was painted white and maroon. On the side of the plane, the company's name, LifeCom, sat elegantly. On the tail of the plane, the letters LC stand boldly in the evening sunlight as well. Life Communications has a long line of works that leads back to people having the ability to stay connected with people around the world. From providing phones to homes, internet for low salary homes, travel programs to visit family members, the company has been responsible for bringing the world much closer. The Relationship Program was the latest addition to the long list of achievements the company has. All thanks to the Founder and CEO, Mr. Mitchell Stone.

Ascending a set of stairs, the interior of the private plane looks large to house all twelve participants and crew in comfort. Inside, you pass the entourage room, there for the flight attendants to relax. Once in the VIP area of the plane, the director of the Lottery and coordinator of this year's trip are seated, enjoying the luxury of the private jet. They greet every participant as they arrive and direct them to take whichever seat they would like. The flight attendants, in their maroon uniform, they go about the area bringing refreshments. They repeat this with all sixteen participants.

Day of the Email
Charelston, South Carolina
February 1, 20XX

Evalyn was in her office, working on her latest novel. She was falling behind on her writing due to her 5-year-old son taking most of her time. She loved the little guy, and would always drop everything in order to do as he asked of her, but today her mother locked her away to work as she looked over the ball of energy. She was grateful to have her family around to help, even if she nagged her about finding a good man to help her around the house. She wanted to show what an independent mother, Daniel had, that meant working through the bad days without the help of a man.
"Mommy?" Daniel asked from the door.
Looking up from her laptop, Evalyn smiled at her son, "Yes, Love?"
"Is it okay if I read in here?" he asked as he holds up his current book from school.
"Of course, Danny," she motioned him to enter the room, "You know you are always welcome to come in."
Evalyn watched Daniel take a seat on one of the armchairs by the tall bookshelves with her own collection of novels. Daniel didn't say another word as he began to read in a low voice. She just watched him for a moment before she turned back to finish her work. After a few more minutes, Evalyn let out a deep sigh as she finished the chapter she had to finish for the deadline. Turning back on her internet connection and walking over to her son. Perching on the arm of the chair, she brushed back his hair away from his face as she listened to him read. He also finished his book soon after and looked up at her.
"Did you finish work, mom?" he asked. Evalyn nodded and he continued, "Does that mean we can go to the park now?"
Evalyn looked over at the clock on top of her door and saw it was near dinner time. She leaned down to kiss the top of his head and answered, "We can go for an hour and then go out to eat. Do you have anywhere you would like to go?"
"McDonald's!"
Laughing she tossed his hair, "I should have known! Go get your shoes on and we can start heading out."
As Daniel ran out of the room, Evalyn picked up the stranded book on the armchair and turned back to her desk. Wanting to finish up her work by sending off the manual script, she opened up her email. Successfully sending it, she went through her other emails as Daniel was explaining to his grandmother where Evalyn was taking him. Plenty of the email were useless but continued to skim. When she saw the Relationship Program email, she quickly opened up and read through it.
"Mom!" Evalyn called out in excitement.
Outside her office, she could hear her mother scurrying to run over to the office. A look of worry on her face as she exclaimed, "What! What happened!?"
"I got the email, mom!" she explained, "You know that world trip! I got picked!"

Sendoff Day
JFK Airport
March 1, 20XX
She had been gone an entire day, and Evalyn was already missing her baby boy. She was dressed as comfortable, both for the plane ride and for the mild weather that lingered in the air. She carried her carry on, which contained her laptop to continue her work during her trip. Being a writer was a lot more work then some would believe. Her suitcase was moderate as it only took several of her clothes and shoes. She didn't wear a lot of makeup so that took a small portion in her bags.
The crowd outside the airport was intimidating, to say the least. Of course, the participants were kept a secret due to privacy, but how they figured out that the lottery winners were going to start here was beyond her. Following the signs, she came up to the group of eight guides in Maroon. She quickly got through them and she was escorted to the line of carts that took her suitcase from her as she took a seat. Evalyn tried to look around as the driver zoomed by others and taking her to the runway. She was at a lost of words when she saw the private plane.
Thanking the man that drove her to the plane. Evalyn dropped off her suitcase with the guys outside the plane and began to ascend the steps to reveal the interior of the private jet. She continued to stay speechless. She's never been nor seen anything like it. Evalyn was in complete awe about the whole thing as she greeted the director and coordinator, then taking her seat at random. She was so into the interior of the plane. A flight attendant that was asking her if she would like a drink. When she did snap out of it, she answered with 'water' and went back to admiring.

Day of the Email
After the death of David, Juliette felt like time stopped even if she try to move on and continue with her life that moment was like a scar that she would always have even if she tried her best to forget about it. She knew she had to be happy that she could continue being alive that's what David would want, but the weight of guilt that she had on her shoulders due to the accident was bigger that her gratitude of being alive.
She tried her best and focus on school and on her work trying to be away from her home as much as she could she felt like she couldn't breath living there but she couldn't afford living on her own and she couldn't leave her parents just like that.
So one day she decided to apply for the program she didn't had a lot of hopes to be part she knew there was a lot of people that wanted to be part of it so there wasn't any chance she would be chosen but she needed a way to escape from her life and find a meaning to it after the death of David.
She didn't hear anything from the relationship program for a while so Juliette started thinking that she haven't been chosen there was no way she would be that lucky to be part of it. So one day, after a long day of classes and work on the bookstore she just wanted to relax but the sound of an upcomming email make her have a look she thought it was just an offer of a site she was sign or a notification for one of her social media
so she wasn't expecting to receive the email of the relationship program. Juliette couldn't believe she was going to be part of it. She wasn't a big believer of signs that would help you with yur life but maybe she took this was the sign she needed in order to get a closure for herself. So as soon as she finish reading the email she went to tell her parents
"Mom! Dad! I got accepted into the program. Can you believe it? It's like a dream come true. I'm so happy I can't believe I'm going to be traveling around the world and meeting all this amazing places" She admit to them with a genuine smile on her face. Juliette noticed the look on her parents first it was a scare look knowing that they wouldn't be able to see their daughter and scared that something may happen to her and they coul lose her too but that change after they saw the smile on Juliette's face "We are happy for you. You deserve this trip more than anyon" They admitted and she knew her parents were really happy for her.
Day 0 - Sendoff
The day finally arrived and Juliette couldn't believe she was hours away from the journey that could changer her life. After she saw the email she started planning everything she knew the places they were going to visit were secret so she didn't had a clue of what to pack so she make sure to have clothes for the different weather. She make sure she had everything she needed and if not she could buy it during the trip. Being in an airport in New York was abig mess everything was crowded and Juliette was afraid she could get lost and arrived late. Thankfully she could recognize the guides of the program and she was glad she was in the finally on right place. Juiette felt weird by the sudden attention she was receiving maybe she was lucky enough to be part of this exclusive program but she felt like they were treating like some kind of royalty when in fact she was just a college student. Once Juliette saw the private jet she finally understand when the program mention to be experience you could have once in your lifetime she never thought she could have a seat on that kind of plane. It was even better that the ones she has seen on movies she even thought that this was a dream and the alarm of her clock would sound at any minute but once she saw the director and the coordinator of the trip she knew this was something real. She took a place near the window so she could watch the sky while they were traveling. Juliette was glad that she was not the only one that was mesmerized by the plane since the girl which name was still unknown for her but that just asked for water had the same expression as her "Did you know we were going to travel on a plane like this?" She asked to the girl in order to start a conversation besides this was the main objective of this trip.

Day of the Email
New York City, New York

Jennifer sat in the bay window of her shared apartment and worked on finishing up her Psychology research paper. After about another hour or so of vigorous typing, she finally finished up her paper and went to email it to her professor, when she noticed a strange email in her inbox. She read over the email quickly.
"Libby...," Jennifer said confused. "Why do I have an email from those Relationship Program people?"
"Shoot...I meant to tell you about that," Libby walked into the room. "I entered you into the lottery."
"What! Why?!" Jennifer said while moving her laptop off of her lap and standing up.
"Because you do nothing but go to your classes, then work," Libby stated while crossing your arms."And when you're not doing that you're in that window working on homework."
"Maybe I want to do that," Jennifer said while placing her hands on her hips.
"No, you don't. I know you and you would much rather play your guitar and sing," Libby stated.
"Libby those things won't get me far in life. Mamí and Papí said that if I truly want to be successful in life I must....," Jennifer started to say.
"Jenny look. I love you but you need to be your own person. Your 21," Libby sighed. "You'll eventually need to stand up to them. If you want to pursue music then you do that, And if they don't like it then they'll have to learn to get over it."
"It's not that easy Libby. The music biz is hard to get into. I've just been so busy with school and stuff I haven't had time to do anything," Jennifer sighed.
"Exactly. That includes dating," Libby added.
"NOOOOOOO.......Can we please not talk about that," Jennifer groaned.
"Girl your 21, You've only been drunk once and you've only ever had one real boyfriend and he was awful," Libby laughed
"We don't talk about my drunk incident. You swore you'd never speak of it to anyone ever. I'll get you if you do," Jennifer stated quickly. "And Rob wasn't that bad. Sure he was conceited, vain, cocky, a little self-centered, and a know it all.......yeah he was pretty bad."
"Yup. Which is exactly why you need this trip. Go and see the world. Explore. Experience new cultures," Libby said. "And most of all make more friends, meet guys, and work on your music."
"But what about school. My parents aren't going to be thrilled about me taking a year off," Jennifer groaned
"I'll cover for you. Don't worry," Libby said. "I'll tell them it's an educational trip."
"Libby I really don't know about this," Jennifer said unsurely as she flopped back on the bench and looked out the window.
"Jenny, I think you should take this amazing opportunity. You were chosen for a reason," Libby sat next to Jennifer. "It could help you and your music. What did Abuela always tell you."
"She would say, Querida, ve y comparte tu voz con el mundo. Olvida lo que piensan tus padres Sigue a tu corazón, te dirá cuál es el camino correcto para ti. (Translation: Dear, go and share your voice with the world. Forget what your parents think. Follow your heart, it will tell you what is the right path for you.)," Jennifer sighed. "I miss her Libby."
Jennifer hugged her feet closer to her body as she felt tears in her eyes thinking about her grandmother, "She always supported my music and never thought it was a waste of time."
"Oh Jenny," Libby said while hugging her. "I think she would have wanted you to have taken this opportunity."
Jennifer hugged Libby back and wiped her eyes, "Yeah.....I guess it would be fun. To travel the world and not have any worries."
"There ya go," Libby smiled. "Now put a smile on that face and start packing. You're gonna need a years worth of clothes."
"Alright, alright but don't expect me to come home with a boyfriend or something," Jennifer laughed.
"Oh honey the minute those guys lay eyes on your their gonna try to scoop you up so quick," Libby laughed
"I'm good girl. Love isn't for me. It sappy, and clingy, and so terrifying," Jennifer admitted
"You're scared of the concept of love," Libby said shocked.
"I'm not scared of it," Jennifer Denied. "it's just confusing and science can't explain it,"
"Alright Einstein, Just keep an open mind and heart," Libby said while standing up and began to walk out of the room. "You may just learn something about yourself and love.
"I doubt it," Jennifer called out to Libby. She went back to reading the email and began to get excited thinking about the trip and all of the endless possibilities. "Maybe this is where my life begins."

Sendoff Day
JFK Airport

Jennifer hopped out of the car in front of the airport and was amazed by the crowds of screaming people waiting there. She got her luggage from the back of the car and entered the airport. After wandering aimlessly for a bit she eventually found the guides and was taken away from the crowd much to her dismay. They took her 9luggage and pilled it onto a cart and she was taken to the plane. Her luggage was loaded onto the plane minus her carry on and her guitar.
"Woah a private jet," Jennifer said excitedly. "I've only ever seen one of these in my dreams."
She climbed onto the plane and gasped as she saw the interior. "Are you sure I should be here. I don't want to ruin anything."
Jennifer began to feel a bit anxious and nervous about being here but she sucked it up an went and sat down in more of an isolated corner. She gave small smiles to the two other women she saw on the plane and dug through her bag quickly and pulled out a book on different world cultures and began to read. She wasn't exactly thrilled about the idea of socializing due to the fact that she isn't good with new people that will most likely stick around. Customers were one thing. She could chat it up and then check them out and they'd leave but she would be with these people for a year.
"Remember Jenny, this is the beginning step of living my life," Jenny thought to herself. "Just take deep breaths."

Cleo Yeong
Day of E-mail
February 1
Houston, TX

It was late in the morning and Cleo's apartment was cozy and quiet aside from the sound of a daytime talk show playing in the background. She often left the TV on just to keep the apartment not feeling so lonely. She had thought about sharing an apartment with her younger brother in the past to fix that problem, but had decided against it as she figured there would end up being too much company with the females he'd probably have going in and out. Currently, she sat at her kitchen's bar, crunching numbers on her computer and sipping at the last remnants of a martini. She was switching between various programs and documents on her computer as she put together the monthly report for the jewelry store she managed. She was hoping she could get it done before having to open the store at noon. Though, a sudden ding from her email momentarily distracted her.

Clicking over, she expected junk mail and had already checked off the box for deletion, but her eyes caught sight of the sender and she froze mid-glide to the delete button. "Congratulation..." she read aloud in a tone of confusion before clicking on the e-mail to read further. Her eyes scanned the words and she continued to read them in a hushed tone. At the end of the message, her brows furrowed. "What..." She then immediately began looking and feeling around for her cellphone, snatching it up and putting in her brother's number.

"Hello?"

"Jung! What is this?"

"What's what, Cleo?" Her brother's agitation could be heard in his voice as he didn't understand.

"I got this e-mail about winning some trip lottery..."

"Oh. ...Oh, shit!"

She could hear her brother laughing on the other line.

"What's funny? What is this?"

"It's not that it's funny, Cleo. I-- I just didn't think you'd actually win..." He paused for a moment before continuing to explain, "I entered you. ...And since you were lucky enough to get chosen, I think you should make the best of it."

"Jung, it says it's a relationship program... I don't do relationships."

He scoffed. "Ohhh, but you sure dated my friend."

There was a moment of silence before she murmured, "...I was curious."

"Well, sis, get curious again. You're so uptight. I think you could use a nice guy. It'd make mom happy; she's always talking about you starting a family."

The thought of children made Cleo cringe. "But, I wasn't ready for this! What am I supposed to do with--"

"Figure it out. You're the most organized person I know, Cleo." With that, he hung up.

"Ya! Jung! ...Jung? Hello?" She pulled her phone from her ear and frowned down at it. "He actually hung up on me..." She went on to murmur about more of her displeasure in Korean. Finally, with a sigh, she cracked her knuckles and got back to work on the report. She really needed to make sure she got everything squared away now. This called for another martini. She had never had two drinks before work before, so she didn't know how well she'd function with them in her system, but in this moment she didn't really care. She wasn't as uptight as her brother thought she was...
Day 0 - Send-off
March 1
Queens, NY ~ JFK Intl. Airport

Cleo almost felt guilty that with everything going through her head at the moment as she headed toward the airport in the back of a taxi, none of it had to do with home. She was more anxious than anything as she looked forward to this getaway-of-sorts. Maybe her brother was right...about the needing to unwind part. She hadn't been so relieved of her responsibilities in a long time and had lived with dialing back on expressing herself for a while. Her mind then shifted gears again. She wondered what the others would be like... Would they get on her nerves? They would all probably be so different. Would the "romance" concept feel forced and become overwhelming? How far did this program-thing even span? Did they only select from America or would there be people from other countries? Well, technically she was from another country herself, but she couldn't tell you much more about South Korea other than what the average tourist knew and stories from her parents. Most of the questions running through her mind were trivial, though, and she guessed them just a product of her anxiety. In reality, she had never done anything remotely like this and just really didn't know what to expect. Perhaps, the easiest thing would just be to focus on enjoying the travel. Then, whatever happened, so be it.

The taxi stopped at the airport drop-off area and the driver helped to unload her luggage. She gave him a brief 'thanks' before wheeling her things inside. As she spotted signs, she also noticed commotion, so much so that it almost made them hard to spot. If she hadn't recalled reading about the maroon uniforms, she just might have missed them. As soon as she found a guide, she let them bounce her between one another until someone finally led her on, she jumped through the necessary hoops, and then was directed the rest of the way. Her baggage had been taken to be loaded underneath the plane and she kept her carry on, holding it strategically for balance as she made her way up the stairs.

Just through the entryway, she was already awestruck. She had flown first-class before, but this was very different. She glanced back at the cockpit before continuing down the aisle through the entourage room and then entering the VIP area. She never imagined that a plane could look so much like a hotel...and a 5-star one at that. Already, she saw the face of those who had made it there before her, most seemingly quite young and so far all female. She forced a smile for any of those who may have been looking at her, then went ahead and made herself comfortable, finding a seat and definitely indulging in the refreshments. This was going to be great.

If things continued going as well as they were now, she just might have to actually do something special for her brother when she returned.

Day of the Email

Conner, or more often referred to, Sheriff Wilkins was more then ready to enjoy his day off. They tended to be rather rare as he almost always got called in to either cover for one of his deputies or because a job came in that was too big for them to handle. Of course, 'too big' for them to handle just meant it was Mr. Ferguson demanding the Sheriff to come and investigate his neighbors because he was as certain about their thievery of his hens as he was that his prize hen, Ms. Henington was the 'purtest' bird this side of the Colorado. It was nonsense, of course, just as nonsensical as his idea that 'those dang commies' had abducted his once prized heifer and that was the reason she no longer acted the same, of course, if he was actually talking about a cow or his wife was always beyond Conner. But his cellphone and landline had both stayed, mercifully, silent and Conner was hoping today would be a day he could kick off his boots, pour himself a nice cup of coffee and read the paper on the patio something he had been dying to do since he built the thing last summer but had yet to use.

As he poured the lovely black liquid from his percolator, the aroma of perfectly brewed coffee bringing a small smile to his face, he almost wanted to bask in the moment. That was until a very shrill shriek of 'Dad!' pierced the tranquility and caused more then half the contents of his cup to spill on his boot, steaming but not quite making its way to his much more sensitive foot.

"Katie, are you okay!?" Conner said, putting his cup down on the counter, his mind running through the various things that could have happened to his eldest, but the second he turned he was nearly knocked off his feat as a thirteen year old girl flung herself in his arms. As he struggled to regain his balance and hold her up, she was already rambling into his shirt in a language he was only half sure was English, "Oh-my-god-dad-we-won-the-lottery-oh-my-god-I'm-so-happy-dad-you-are-going-to-have-so-much-fun-maybe-meet-a-pretty-girl-and-" the rest of it seemed to disintegrate into something even less resembling English, how she had managed that was almost impressive.

After a few minutes of struggling with her and some lessons in deciphering teenager, he had the story and Conner was at a lost, "You created a fake email and used my credit card to purchase a lottery ticket?" He asked, staring down at his daughter who had the decency to fidget uncomfortably as her father starred her down, "Um, but we won."

Conner opened his mouth about to head into the long speech he had about trust, fraud and how she should ask before she ever does anything like this even if he knew that he would have rejected the idea if she had spoken it with him, it was the concept was the issue, but before he could dig into his speech, his phone went off and almost in-sync, Katie visibly perked up knowing that his phone going off meant she was getting out of a lecture, at least for now, and Conner's chest fell as that meant work which meant he would get to deal with the Fergusons again.

733243.png

"Can you believe her, Tam?" Conner said into his phone with a heavy sigh. It was a long drive to the Ferguson who lived on the edge of the county and the least his secretary, Tammy, could do after ruining his day off was listen to his complaining and she was one of the very few people he could complain to and it wasn't like she didn't have the time, the last of her kids having moved off to college.

"She was just trying to help," came the ever placating tone in retort.

"I don't need help and what am I going to do with that much money?" Conner asked as it just seemed like more of a hassle then a reward.

"Its not that kind of lottery," Tam sighed into her phone, "Instead of money you go on a trip, its like... a vacation, cruise and whatever all in one."

Conner's brow rose and if his hand wasn't on the steering wheel, he would have stroked the coarse hair that stretched across his chin, "So a less annoying version of the lottery? No long lost relatives hounding you for a handout?"

"Pretty much," Tammy said and he could almost imagine the older woman shrugging at her computer desk, the dog bobble heads shaking their heads in unison.

"Its not like one of those reality tv shows is it? I can think of a better way to spend a vacation, like shooting myself in the foot," Conner almost growled. The very idea of being stuck in such a thing was a nightmarish concept.

"No, nothing like that, and you should go. It would be good for you, I'll even watch the youngin's for you!" Tammy said, her enthusiasm almost palpable and Conner voiced his suspicion, "Did you help her?"

"Yes," came the quick response, almost oozing smugness, "You realize that is fraud?" Conner said as he ground his teeth.

"Going to arrest me? No? Then go. You need it. I'll hold the fort down, plus Adam has been chomping at the bit to prove himself," Tammy said, as annoyingly shrewd as always.

"I'll think on it a spell."

Sendoff Day

Conner was having second thoughts, third thoughts and even a few fourth thoughts, he was rethinking this entire thing. But, he was already here and the flight to JFK was tedious enough that there was no real reason to turn back now although he had the distinct feeling in a few days, when he was on the phone with his kids at night, he was going to wish he had just turned around and gone home. But he promised his daughters, although his boy had been less fond of the plan, that he would try to have fun and had even let them dress him for the first day which was rough as he felt if he bent down to far or lifted anything too heavy, he was going to split this shirt, but he was fond of the vest. Having already dropped off the only trunk he brought already and his duffel bag was carry on, he approached the private plane which only made him more worried about the situation. Conner didn't exactly have a history of experiencing the 'finer' things in life and he was going to stand out no matter what, he just really hoped this wasn't one of those reality tv things.

Conner walked onto the plane, although he had to bend down a bit in order to not smash his head against the door frame, but once on, he let his sea green eyes bounce between the people on the plane. The need to observe his surroundings and the people in it beaten into him from work, first going to a woman examining the interior of the plane, which he had to admit, was nice. With a quick scan, he noted her slightly taller then average height, interesting choice in pants although if he was asked what kind of pants they were, he would have said of the stripped variety and she was uncomfortably pretty. He examined the woman who, appeared, to be talking to her. A shirt that showed enough stomach to make him a little wary of staring and some of those pre-ripped jeans his eldest was so fond of that he still hadn't figured out why anyone would want them, and just like the other, she was almost uncomfortably pretty. He examined a woman apparently more interested in the book she was reading then everything going on around her which Conner assumed meant she was used to it, from the angle, he couldn't see the title but couldn't help but feel that familiar curiosity raising in his chest. Just like the other two, she was uncomfortably pretty. Finally he looked at the last of the four already on the plane and he knew before he looked at her that she was going to be beautiful to an uncomfortable, almost disconcerting way, as it seemed to be the trend. He wasn't sure if she was Korean, Chinese or Japanese, but he was also fairly sure it wasn't really any of his business nor all that pertinent.

On reflex, Conner reached up to tip a hat that he wasn't wearing, "Mornin'," he said as he made his way down the alley, offering a simple excuse me as he made his way past the two women to find an empty seat. Finding a spot that was free and gave him a nice range of vision to keep on eye on new arrivals as he had the sinking feeling they were all going to be extremely good looking and he was starting to wonder if this wasn't one of those reality shows, what were the odds that everyone, besides himself, looked like they popped straight out of a magazine? Opening the overhead compartment, the momentary fear that he was going to split his shirt filtered through his mind as he gave it a single, hard shove and jammed it in. Having conquered the compartment and not caused a scene, something he was hoping to avoid, Conner dropped into his seat crossed his legs at his heels and fought down the urge to pull out his phone to check for any messages from his kids, instead, opting to play with a lock of his hair that had escaped from its binds.

DAY OF EMAIL...
NEW YORK, NEW YORK
FEBRUARY 1

Chris finally finished all his classes for the day and all he wanted to do was go home and sleep, "Aye, Chris wait up!", one of his friends said as he was about to enter the train station. He turned around and his friend started to catch up to him. "Chris my man, how you holding up?", he asked. "Nothing really, after that 5-hour test all the fuck I wanna do is go home and sleep".His friend shook his head and started to laugh and says "I have no idea why you were stressing about it, it was just mid-terms.".

Chris rolled his eyes and says "Yea mid-terms, I hope I don't drop out before spring semester Josh.", he said as they both got on the train together. As they walked home Chris used his key to get inside his apartment and once he opens the door him and his roommate Josh looks in shock. The shirk in her voice and her running to me was the cutest thing I've seen from this little girl. "CHRISSYYYY!", his niece applies. "Anabelle, what in the name?".

"Christin? YOU SEE HER TOO RIGHT?", his other roommate Justin looking scared as hell and then he adds "This girl tried to kill me, she was just there sitting on the couch and I asked who her mummy was and she flipped and tried to chase after me.". I bent down to look at her and asks "Where is she?". "Mummy went down to get food.", I took a very very deep breath and stands back up looking at my roommates and says "She's my twin sister's daughter. I have no idea why she is even here. Anabelle, go sit on the couch and wait for your mummy, I'm going to call her in the meantime."

After finally about to reach her she was coming back just in a few minutes. His niece was only 5 and yes does that mean his sister had a baby and 16. His parents disgrace her of it and demanded to get rid of it but she kept it and she raised her child into a beautiful little girl that looked just like his sister. "CHRIS YOU BETTER GET IN HERE ASAP!", Justin and Josh yelled in unison.

"I swear if you two did something stupid I'm going to hurt you both!", Chris says with an annoyed town. "So a couple months ago we signed you up for something like as a joke, you know and uhhhh we didn't think you were going to get accepted you know, and....", Chris looks at them with a death stare and they continue saying "Looks like your going on a trip my friend". I looked at them confused and starts laughing his ass off and says "You got to fucking kidding me let me look at this email.". After reading this email, he looked at the two of them like fire was in his eyes.

"ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS!", He yelled and adds "I don't need this, I wanted to spend my break in my apartment and partying every night with you two bitches and smoke as much as I FUCKING NEED TOO BUT YOU TWO BITCHES sign me up for this shit SERIOUSLY!". "What's the big problem here, god I haven't heard Chris yell like that since we were 5.", his sister says looking concerned.

And that's when he knew after his sister was beating him up senseless, he had to go on this getaway and made she it was no joke or prank that the next day, he received the plane tickets in his email with all the other information. As much he was upset with his two best friends he thanked them for knowing that he needed this long vacation.

SEND OFF DAY

Chris woke up from his bed knowing that today was the day that he was being shipped off to who knows where to. After his two best friends Justin and Joshua, sign him up for this thing he was pissed at first but after his twin beat him up and a lot of convincing from his niece and two best friends he finally gave in. Chris was able to pack every the night before lucky him and he knew his flight was between 4 and 6 so he had enough time to hang with his sister and his friends for a bit.

"Are you ready for tonight big bro?", Jessica said to him as they drunk some coffee and Chris was having a smoke. "Yea I guess, I mean I always wanted to travel and I love doing it and I speak only 3 languages so why not right?". Jess rolled her eyes at him and says "You do know it's an RE-LAT-ION-SHIP trip right?". He rolled his eyes as she looked so giddy about it. Chris was never a relationship guy. he doesn't stay in them long because he is too busy with school and has no time for them or the girls tell him to chose between them or his best friends. "Tell me you are going to bring a girl home!?".

"Just get in the car and start driving to JFK please", he said in annoyance dropping his smoke on the ground and stepping on it so it doesn't burn. As they were driving in the long traffic to the airport, He was able to make it there by 2 so he can go through scanning and security which was the worse since it's such a long line. "Well I'm going to get going, Annabell is most likely giving your friends a hard time. Facetime me when you land yea?". I nodded at her and after giving her a final hug she whispers in my ear, "Bring a chick back home you cracker.".

After going do all the security, I started walking and saw some people in a uniform so he started walking in that direction. He gave them his name and they lead him towards the runaway outside to get in this huge plane. Private plane sounded so cool that he was actually excited to be a part of this trip. He walked up the stairs and realized two females and a guy was already there. He gave them a small wave and walked to an empty seat which was the window since he does like looking out of it. After he settled down he took out his laptop and gets it set up from himself. He just hopes that nothing bad happens is drama was going to be caused.

Day Received E-mail:
Mei: She was glad she was able to work from home today since she wasn't feeling that well. It wasn't often that she was allowed to work at home, but when she was, it might as well be a 'day off' for her. She was able to work in her own space and wasn't distracted by the chitter chatter of regular day life in the office. The only distraction she got now was from her cat, but she didn't mind that. Her cat in fact made her work more, and kept her going when she got a blockage. The lights were off in her home office, nothing but the small computer light shining. Mei had the blinds closed even though it was way in the afternoon. She takes a sip of her coffee, and frowns when it was almost gone. This was already her second cup that day. There was a loud knock at her door and she jumps before checking the time--right, that must have been the mail. She had recently ordered a new piece of furniture off of Amazon. Mei looks down at herself, of course, she was still in her pjs, and had no make-up on. She was going to look atrocious. Mei quickly runs a brush through her hair before going to answer the door. Better something than nothing at all.

Even though she wanted to finish her report for the day, she decides to take a break. She signed off on the delivery and maybe she could set up the new rug she just ordered. Perhaps she should take a shower and look presentable even if she wasn't planning on leaving for the rest of the day. Dressing nice would make her feel better, which would ultimately get her brain functioning more. After making a salad for lunch, putting down her new rug, hopping into the shower, and getting dressed, she was finally ready to start her paper once more. She makes sure the cat has enough food and gives him attention as well. There was only a little bit more to do, but before she could do so, there was a flux of e-mails. She scrolls over them, about to hit delete all, when she spots something from the Relationship Program. She won? She actually won something? Mei takes a moment to call up her friend, asking him to check out the e-mail. But when she does some thorough research and the e-mail is not a fake, she squeals in excitement and calls her parents next.

Send-Off Day:
There was a lot of preparations she had to make before she could take this trip. She made sure to get an international phone as well as an international credit card so she could continue going shopping and keep in contact with her parents. Then she had to notice the landlord and set up so that someone checked on the place every once in awhile, so none of her stuff got stolen. Mei would still be working while she was on this trip, though not as much. Luckily, her boss was alright with her doing online projects and if she checked in at least once a week and made progress on them, she was able to keep her job while she was away. It was no big deal to her, Mei liked to work. She did have to inform her private clients for training that she couldn't be there, but she did give them great recommendations. She would probably lose her clients when she got back, but this trip would be worth it in the end. The hardest part was going to be missing her cat the most. Her parents took in her cat while she was away.

Mei had just spent the last week at her parent's house, she had spent a lot of time with them and said her goodbyes to her cat, who she would miss very much. In fact, only a hour before, she had just gotten off the plane from Kansas, and now she was about to get on another one. She took her time, made sure her luggage was checked in and on the new plane now. She wanted to stretch before getting onto another long flight. Finally she was ready and finds the helpers in the maroon outfits. She had to admit she liked the color on them. Mei takes a moment to look outside the window to see the plane. It was gorgeous, she had never been on a private jet before. When she entered the airplane, she saw that there were two guys and four other girls here. Though the plane was great inside and outside, she wanted someone to chat with. Mei noticed the one girl reading a book and the one guy on his laptop. Everyone else seemed to want their own space. She was glad that there was someone else from Korea as well and is tempted to talk to her. Instead, the other man on the plane catches her eye. He seemed a bit out of place but friendly enough. Mei had her carry on with her and makes her way over to him."Can I sit next to you?" She asks, even though there were a ton of empty seats, she wanted to be able to talk to him properly.

Arden Sanders

The biggest news and a bundle of nerves

How ya feeling?: Nauseas and excited
Outfit:x

The biggest news:
Arden blew a strand of her out of her face and then heaved a sigh. She has been working non stop for five hours on the new shipment of books her Mother order for their bookstore. Three shipments of books all late came in right as she was about to end her shift and hang out with one of her friends for the day.

“This day couldn’t get any worse.” She muttered to herself. One shipment logged into the system and labeled, just two more to go. Arden grunted as she picked up another box of books, each box seemed heavier than the last one. Her arms started cramping and her fingertips burned from flipping through the books to make sure everything was in order. Ok so maybe that was a little dramatic but Arden was exhausted so she opted to take a little break, that lasted longer than she wanted.
~
Arden awoke to angry italian lady frowning in her face. It made her heart leap out of her chest into her throat. “Ma, you scared me,” She sighs. Arden let her head hit the back on the loveseats’ armrest. The frown on her Mother’s face deepened.

“Get up Arden. Get up right now. We have customers! You’re supposed to logging and labeling. Do you know how this makes me look? How this makes my business look? Why do you ha-”

“I’m sorry I didn’t mean to-“

Ping! The sound of her email notification made her stop mid sentence. Her heart kept into her throat and pounded in her ears. This could be it. Her ticket out of this town. Disregarding her mother completely she ran over to her computer but it wasn’t there. Just spam. Arden sighed and slouched back into her office chair and swivels towards her mother. “I’m sorry ma, I’ll get right back on it.” She smiles weakly at her mother. Her mother didn’t say anything except a you better and then went on her merry little way. Arden busied herself with logging and labeling to distract herself from the feeling of hopelessness.

“Who am I kidding right?” She dejectedly chuckled. “Why would I, all of people, get pi-“

Ping! Arden lazily looked up from her work and clicked the refresh button and there it was, the very email that would change her life.

A bundle of nerves:
Arden almost chickened out twice. Once on the ride to the hotel and again on the ride to the JFK airport. Arden had only been on an airplane twice in her lifetime and that was when she was really small so needless to say, she was scared out of her mind. She read about planes crashing for no reason at all, all the time. Who was to say that, that wouldn't happen today? Ardens palms grew sweaty and she wiped them on her thighs.

The car ride to airport had been agonizingly slow. She just wanted to get in there and start having fun and meet new people. People who she wouldn't even think about meeting back in her old town. This was beyond exciting but at the same time being thrust into a culture shock was going to prove to be a bit more than Arden could handle but she manages to push through.

The reporters and the cameras flashing in Arden’s face made her self conscious. She knew that this was a huge deal to people all around the world so she smiled and waved to the cameras as best she could. The driver handed her, her carry on and placed all her other luggage into a cart that was sent to the plans cargo hold. She slung her backpack over hse shoulder and made her way into the private jet. The private jet was the most expensive thing she had ever even seen, or even been in, in her entire life. She was overjoyed that she even got this opportunity in the first place. She wasn’t going to let herself hold her back from a possible relationship and the trip of a lifetime. Once she got into the plane her eyes lit up. People had already boarded and were talking and getting to know each. This put a smile to her face. It looked like everyone was getting along.

“Would you like something to drink?” A flight attendant asked her.

“Can I have a glass of red wine, please” She said cheerfully to the flight attendant. The flight attendant nods and smiles then walks away to fix Arden’s drink. Arden then made her way to the seating area. The seats were already almost filled up but she didn’t want to sit alone so she opted to sit next to someone. She wakes through the aisle until she spotted an empty seat next to a boy with dark hair.

“May I sit with you?” She asked him with a slight smile.

On the Plane

Jennifer put her book down and noticed more people on the plane than from we she got on. It intimidated her a little but she had to become social or else the rest of the trip would be hell. She put the book back into her bag and stood up while adjusting her glasses. She roamed around the plane looking for an opening to talk to someone. She found that just about everyone was talking or at least trying to interact with each other. She eventually gave up and went over to a flight attendant.
"Hi, May I please have some mint tea with honey?" Jennifer asked shyly. "If that isn't to much trouble of course."

The flight attendant went to make her tea and she sat back down in her seat and proceeded to pull out her songbook and her guitar and began quietly strumming a few chords and writing them down. After playing for a few minutes, the flight attendant returned with Jennifer's tea. "Thank you," Jennifer said as she took a sip of the tea. She returned to her song and got lost in the chords and began quietly humming along to it. She proceeded to finish up her song and just began strumming some basic chords as some mood music and waited for someone to be remotely interested in talking to her.

Nanook Ochoa
Day of E-mail
February 1
Phoenix, AZ

Laughter overflowed from the living room as Nanook and the 10-year-old Sergio sat on the floor playing a video game and simply enjoying each other's company.

"I'm gonna beat you!" Sergio shouted competitively as his little fingers swiftly pressed buttons and twiddled knobs of the controller.

"Sure. We'll see about that," Nanook retorted, his fingers moving just as quickly on the controller and biting his lip in concentration.

The blue and red cars on the screen raced each other, nearly neck and neck as they curved along the track until they passed the checkered finish line. In bright gold letters, the results immediately popped up on the screen: Blue Player Wins!

"Yesss!" Sergio shouted as he jumped up and began dancing in victory.

Meanwhile, Nanook only chuckled. "Good job, Serge... It was close, tho! Next time," he said, poking the boy who only giggled.

"I bet you let me win anyway, Nook."

Truthfully, Sergio had won totally on his own accord, but Nanook didn't have to let him know that. "Maybe, maybe not... You'll never know," he said as he wiggled his fingers mystically.

Sergio laughed and was just getting ready to say something when he heard a voice call, "Boys!" Then, his mother, Nikki, came around the corner. "I heard you boys in here having a lot of fun... I sure hope that homework is finished, Sergio."

The boy made a sheepish smile and rubbed the back of his neck as he looked down at his feet. Nikki smirked. "Get it done, Serge. You know the rules: no more games until you can show it to me completed. They're no different just because Nanook is here." She then turned to her friend with a slight frown. "Nook, I expected you to be more on top of that," she scolded.

He chuckled uneasily. "Sorry, Nik...I thought he might have done it already."

Nikki couldn't help smiling; she could never stay bothered by Nanook. "I'm going to go start on dinner. Please just help him get set up, get started, and make sure he finishes."

"Got it." He gave her the thumbs up before she left for the kitchen.

Sergio grabbed his bookbag and seated himself at the dining room table, pulling out his books to do his homework. Nanook made sure the boy got started and glanced over periodically from the living room to be sure he continued working. He watched TV on low as to not disturb the grade-schooler, but still keep himself occupied. Although, he wasn't actually paying much attention to the television. He had pulled his phone from his pocket and was doing his rounds of checking apps before finally checking his e-mail. He needed to check for the conformation e-mail that made sure the article he submitted had been received. However, something else caught his eye in the process.

'Congratulations,' he read and immediately perked. Is this what he thought it was? He opened the e-mail and began to read, his grin getting wider as he read on. By the time he finished, his mouth was agape in awe and disbelief. "Nikki!" He called as he scrambled to get up from the sofa. He nearly ran into her as he rounded the corner into the kitchen.

She stopped abruptly. "What, Nook? Is everything okay?"

"I got chosen!"

"Chosen?" She cocked her head to the side.

"I entered this sort of relationship travel lottery thing and I won! I got chosen!" He said ecstatically.

"Oh. Nanook, that's great!" She said, holding his hands as he did somewhat of a happy dance.

"I gotta call Nizhoni...and mom and dad! Naira's gonna be so excited!"

Distracted by the commotion, Sergio popped up in the kitchen beside his mother and Nanook. "What are we excited about? Is Naira coming?" His face lit up at the idea of a playmate.

"Not quite, bud. I'm going on a trip for a while...and I might even bring back a friend." He ruffled the boys hair with a grin.
Day 0 - Sendoff
March 1
Queens, NY ~ JFK Intl. Airport

Two flights in 48 hours was definitely killer. It was hard enough dealing with the airport once in that time span, but he'd be doing twice. Regardless, Nanook was mostly unphased as he was too eager to get this trip started. He was excited to meet everyone and about the places they'd travel. He'd never been out of the U.S. before, let alone traveled with someone other than his family. Speaking of family...

Both of his sisters had definitely been excited. Nizhoni was always trying to set him up with somebody and Naira was just at that adventurous age where the traveling sounded fun and she was in love with the idea of love... And both of his siblings imagined being aunts would be great. He didn't know about any of that - Sergio was enough right now and he wasn't even really his father - but it wasn't out of the question. Although far more subtle, his parents were on the same page. They weren't necessarily eager for him to have children, but his mother especially liked the idea of him getting into a relationship. Nanook had to admit that it had been a while. He wasn't needy or desperate for a relationship to any degree, but it was getting about time for him to try again. It would be... nice.

Arriving at the airport, he immediately noticed the crowds. Of course, there was the typical hustle and bustle, but this seemed excessive. Was the extra because of the program? He didn't know they'd have some sort of pseudo-celebrity status. He stepped out of his ride and gave a quick adjustment to his appearance, brushing over his hair that was slicked back into a low ponytail to make sure all hairs were in place and tugging at his shirt and pants to alleviate some of the tightness he felt from them riding up. Though, the shirt continued to bother him and he reached up, giving in to popping one of the buttons open just below his neck. Much better. He thanked the driver who had already begun unloading his luggage. As he reached for it, his hair swung around to slap him in the face. Of course, he held back his dismay in front of the other man and attempted to act as though nothing happened while simultaneously spitting strands of hair from his mouth as discreetly as possible. He didn't think he had moved so suddenly to be assaulted by his own hair, but apparently he thought wrong. He took the handle of his one large suitcase and slung his backpack over his shoulder by a strap before proceeding into the building, hoping things went a lot more smoothly than it appeared they would.

Through the crowds, he followed the signs and maroon uniforms, finally making it to the person who would take his luggage for storage beneath the plane and him to board it. With more thanks to the staff, he stepped off of the cart with his backpack in hand and made his way up the step. He was lost for words, but wide eyes made his shock obvious. Coming from a more rural background to middle-class at best, he had never experienced, let alone seen such luxury... and this was only the flight attendants' chambers. As he gradually stepped down the aisle, descending through the plane, he made it to the VIP section where he saw the others who had made it there before him already living it up.

Nanook wasn't particularly one for cursing, but he couldn't help muttering, "Holy shit," at the sight as a hand went up to his mouth. How much did this all cost? He didn't even wanna know how many number places that price tag crossed. If it were anything in the ten thousands - and he already knew it was if not beyond - he'd have never been able to afford it. For a second, he felt just a little more fortunate to be here. He was sure he wasn't the only one, even if some here were quite well-off. He pulled his ponytail over his shoulder and began subconsciously slicking his hand over the hair as his eyes surveyed the area. He seemed to only be the third guy to arrive with the rest of the plain being full of a diverse group of women. He thought that in itself was great; variety was the spice of life. A brown girl with curly hair particularly caught his eye. Her aesthetics reminded him somewhat of his sisters. He became curious about her, but she seemed a little indulged in her music. Still, he went to take the seat beside her.

Nanook placed his bag down in front of his feet - he preferred that his things be readily available to him as opposed to stuffed in the overhead bin. Closer, he could now see more details about the woman. She was very pretty, but young. He hoped she wasn't so many years apart from him that he felt like a creep for even noticing her appearance. As she fiddled with her guitar, he could tell she had talent and assumed she was holding back due to the atmosphere. "It sounds good," He offered the compliment with a friendly grin and hoped he wasn't interfering too much. The way she focused on the instrument in her hands, she seemed to have a passion for it. He admired people with passions.

Evalyn took a sip of her water trying to distract herself with her phone, holding onto the call she was waiting on. Locking and Unlocking her phone, the image of her 5-year-old kept appearing and desapearing. She stopped her figititing when someone took a seat near her and began to pick up a conversation with her.
"Oh no," she offered her a smile as she nodded to her comment, "I was expecting your normal commercial flight, but I guess they don't play around the word luxury."
Evalyn took the time to look at her current distraction from her expected call. She was gorgeous to the point she felt inferior beside her. It was hard for Evalyn to bounce back to her old weight after Daniel, but even then she doesn't feel like her old self. Seeing the top she was wearing made Evalyn lower her own a bit, trying to hide her own stomach. She had somewhat of a flat stomach but the mark left behind was ever so present.
"I'm Evalyn," she snapped out of her internal struggles and extended her hand toward her, "It's nice to meet you."
As soon as she introduced herself her phone went off. Her screen showed the caller ID, Mom, on the screen as I excused myself, "Oh, I need to take this."
Answering the video call she beamed with happiness at the sight of her little boy. She glanced toward the front as more and more people were arriving, but she just nodded in greeting as she began her conversation with Daniel.
"Hey, love! How are you doing? I hope you have been good for your grandma while I'm away," she spoke in a low tone out fo respect.
"Hi Mommy!" the tiny voice came through the earbud she had on, "I'm doing okay. I missed you but grandpa took me to the park!"
"That's good to hear. I'll call you every chance I get okay. Be good. Love you, Daniel."
Saying their goodbyes, Evalyn ended the call and turned back to the people around her. She noticed a man, not much older than herself talking with a woman, and further down the area, a few new faces appeared. A man busied himself on his laptop, a woman read away on her book, and another female was putting her things away in the overhang compartment. Returning to her previous conversation she smiled and asked, "Where do you think we are heading?

Day of the Email
San Francisco, California
February 1, 20XX

Plates clattered, banging through out the house, and a very familiar voice was heard through the closed door to Henry's bedroom. To say he was annoyed was an understatement. Taking a single look at his phone showed it was 9 am in the morning. It was way to early for this. He had been up all right in his dark room developing his new pitures, and got into bed five hours ago. Five hours was not enough for Henry. To be woken up by someone going through his house was even worse.
"HENRY!" the voice called out.
Henry just grunted as he pulled his covers even higher and covered his face with a pillow. He knew what was about to happen. His adopted sister was about to barge into his room, open the curtains and try to get his out of bed. Try is the key word here.
Like that, she entered the room exclaiming, "Come on Henry! You have things to do!"
"Natalia, I just got to bed... Have mercy and let me sleep..."
Natalia was Henry's adopted sister, who has been kind enough to assist him in his endeavors which also included cleaning up for him, even if he told her not to. Being a part of the Miller Family was interesting. Living with a house full of ladies, his two moms, and two sisters. it was never a dull moment.
"Henry, if you don't get up soon, I'll call for reinforcements."
"I'm not afraid of mom."
"I wasn't talking about mom."
That got Henry took look from under his pillow and at his sister, "You wouldn't dare..."
Natalia presented him her phone which was blurry to him. He motioned her to bring it closer to see what was on the screen. With a roll of her eyes and a sigh, she came closer. There on the screen showed their older sister, Gloria. The sight of her in any away brought a cold chill through him.
"Fine..." he sighed, "I'll get up, but why am I getting up for again?"
"You need to go look for a new place remember. I found a few we can go look at."

Five places later, Henry was about to crash from lack of sleep and fun. Natalia was going through her phone looking for the next place over late lunch. Finishing the last bits of both their meals, Natalia let out a gasp. Henry swallowed before he asked her what was happening.
"Okay," she started, "Don't get mad..."
"But..."
"I kind of got you into a lottery..."
"Natalia get to the point!"
"You won! You are about to go on the trip of your lifetime! Now we need to find a storage rental for your stuff."
"What?"
"Well, your lease is up at the end of the month. The trip starts at the start of next month, which will be a year-long trip, so you won't need to worry about an apartment!" Natalia beamed.

I can't believe I'm actually doing this.
After a long month of packing for this trip and packing up his things into a storage unit, he was a bit over it. All he really knew about the trip was that it was all paid for and will take him across the world. So not that he was before the sign that Natalia had told him about, he was not happy. The word, Relationship, was the cause for his unhappy mood.
He had never really had luck with the ladies since he was always busy being behind a camera. Really he thought he would just continue to be alone for as long as he could, but it seemed that his sister had other plans for him. As much as he wanted to call her up and yell at her, he didn't want to go on another flight back home. Well, he would have to go back to his parent's since he has no place at the moment.
Letting out a sigh he just followed her signs. Arriving at the group of guides, he gave his name and they took him to the next available cart. Having his carry on and camera bag with him, he looked around as the driver took him to the plane. He expected a normal commercial plane, not the private plane before him. Cautiously he climbed the stairs. Once he entered the plane, he was impressed at the interior.
There where already groups forming as he entered the VIP area, as he was told. There was a seat at the back, which isolated itself from the other seats. Even if it made him look like a loner, it was better then interacting with people as he was not prepared for this trip. He was expecting it to be a casual trip around the world, not a trip to look for love.

"I think you are right, I'm still thinking if I'm not in the wrong airplane" Juliette reply to the woman she was talking to she could see she was just a couple of years older than her and she even thought she was really pretty but somehow the woman felt kind of shy while looking at Juliette.
She thought the main reason she seem like that it was because they were still strangers but Juliette didn't wanted to think about that a lot "Juliette, nice to meet you too" she reply while she shake the hand of the girl which name was Evalyn "Go ahead don't worry" She added with a smile.
Juliette was caught by surprise when she discover that Evalyn had a kid since she mention the word "grandma" For Juliette she still looked young to have a kid but some people are ready to be parents at a young age and just by seeing the smile and her excitement Juliette knew that Evalyn wouldgive up her life in order to make that boy happy.
In fact she was curious to know about her son but Juliette didn't want to seem so curious when they were just starting to know each other "I don't have a clue, I'm guessing we are going to start on a place that is warm and sunny. Maybe we are going to a place that has a beach or something but I would love if we could travel to Europe or Asia I have always wanted to go to those countries. Where would you like to go? She asked Evalyn but as soon as she finished asking her she saw how a new guy arriving and he went to sit alone. Juliette took a look around and notice that somehow everyone was already having a conversation, she knew she could regret her decision and make a fool of herself but she at least could give it a try "Hey lonely boy, why don't you sit here? I promise I don't bite and I'm sure Evalyn doesn't bite either" She told him.

It was interesting, the people that were coming on. More and more ludicrously attractive people, some were breaking off into pairs to start talking. Conner was a little glad to see more men go onto the plane, for a moment, he had been worried that he was going to be the only one and he was sure many men out there would have loved to be in his position, he couldn't pretend he would have been completely comfortable with that turn of events. He was even more surprised when one of the women from earlier started to strum her guitar which, well, he wasn't sure what to call that. It reminded him, a bit, of when his eldest sat at the table and started drawing or sighing, wanting someone to pay attention to them but didn't want to ask or get it themselves. It was adorable, in its own way.

Conner eyes snapped to the new arrival, yet another disturbingly pretty woman, was there an assembly line out there somewhere just pumping out ludicrously good looking people? There were plenty of empty seats, he knew that, but perhaps she just wanted company? Or she had a vested interest in him which he dismissed instantly as that was beyond unlikely. His gaze fell onto her carry on and the manners beaten into him as a child had him rising out of his seat, "Of course, may I help you with your luggage?" he said pointing up to the overhead compartment above the row.

Day of the E-Mail
Puffs of flour flew across the early morning rays that shone through the kitchen windows, as Addy dusted her hands off. She wiped her brow on the sleeve of her plain while t-shirt. "Well that's the first batch of the day". She untied her apron as she walked out of the kitchen going to get a bit of fresh air. Though it was early morning, she could already feel how hot it was going to be today. Ah, how lovely it was to live in Florida during the summer. Nothing like sticky heat to make you feel alive. Pulling her pack of smokes out of her back pocket, she lit one up and watched the smoke rise up into the air. She was one of those types of people that liked watching the shapes the smoke took on as it wafted through the air. As a car drove by she could hear a voice coming from it. It was a radio personality talking about this new "dating lottery". She chuckled and shook her head. "People will fall for anything now a days huh?". Little did she know, her mother signed her up for it. And about five minutes from now, she was going to find out.

Addy, put out her cigarette and turned to walk back in through the back door. While she was out there, some of the other employees had started to pile in. She got along with most of her coworkers. Well for the most part anyways. They mostly left her alone as she wasn't really much of a talker. Let alone being friendly this early in the morning. She waved to one of the delivery drivers, Matt as he walked past her to put his things in his locker. "Hey Addles, (his nickname for her), how's it hangin'? You hear about this new wave lottery thing? Gonna sign up for it or have you finally realized you love for me?" Addy rolled her eyes. "Matt I'd rather get my eyeballs pierced that date you". Matt put his hand to his chest and made a face. "Oh Addles, how you swoon me with your words. Keep that up and I'll start to think you want to have my kids next". She flipped him off and walked back into the kitchen. She was painfully reminded why she liked to drown herself in work. Just about that time, her cell phone went off. She pulled it out of her back pocket and noticed she had an e-mail from a place she didn't recognize. Opening it, her eyes grew wide as she yelled out, "MOTHER!!!!!". That's it. She was going to kill her mother.

Send off Day
With a heavy sigh, Addy got into the cab and shut the door. She couldn't believe she was doing this. Actually she could. She was doing this based on the promise that her mother would leave her alone for the rest of her life if she decided to do this. She made her mother promise, that even if nothing came out of going to this, she was to leave Addy alone. She hung her head as she thought back to their argument. She loved her mother to pieces, she liked to mettle too much in Addy's life. She was a grown woman and when Addy was ready, she would settle down. She just didn't want to right now. She was happy with the way her life was going right now. She had absolutely no complaints at all. But parents would be parents. She ran a hand through her hair as they were coming up on the airport. "Well let's get this painful experience over with already." She grabbed her things from the trunk of the cab and made her way to and up into the plane. Addy looked around at all the people that were already there. Great, was she the last one and they've been sitting here this whole time waiting on her? Shaking her head, she bit her lip and found an empty place to sit. She tried to keep her eyes down as she didn't want to stare at anyone, or seem like she was staring at anyone. Not to mention, she was feeling a little over crowded as it was. Though she had to admit, there was a lot of beautiful people here. She put a hand to her forehead as she thought, "What am I doing here? Mother, why did you do this to me? Dear lord let this be over fast".

The Badboy

As Chris was setting himself up with his computer trying to get himself comfortable for the long ride he looked around a bit seeing more and more people joining the plane seeing who will be sharing this trip with. He knows there are different personalities in here and that's what he likes to see, not some bored people he has to deal with all break long. Chris noticed the flight attendant comes over to his side and she asks "Would you like a refreshment sir?". Chris nodded and adds "Yes please, I'll have a beer".

She nodded and walked away towards the female who just gladly walked in the plane and most likely asked her the same question. The girl who just walked in looked beautiful, long light brown hair and a nice smile why the hell not, she looks like a cool chick to hang out with. As he was just about to unlock his laptop he noticed the chick that was at the front and as she kindly asked to sit next to him, he studied her smile. "Yes you may, I'm Christin", Chris said as he offered his hand out to the female in front of him.

While Jennifer was playing her song, she felt someone sit next to her and she stopped playing since she was startled by the person. She looked up and saw a very handsome looking guy.
"Oh, Thank you," Jennifer said while breaking into a smile. "But it wasn't anything special. Just me playing around."
Jennifer put her guitar down and moved over so he could have some more space. He looked very attractive but she couldn't focus on that. Her nerves were going a mile a minute, her stupid anxiety over relationships and the concept of love were getting to her. He seemed relatively young to her but she couldn't put her finger on how old he was. He has a nice smile and his hair is amazing. This made Jennifer self-conscious of the lion's mane she called hair, so she moved it behind her trying to get it under control. He seems genuinely interested in her music which was weird to Jennifer. Most people aren't interested in it.
"Sorry I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Jennifer Blane," Jennifer said while holding her hand out. "And you are?"

New friendships:
The smile on Arden’s face grew bigger, making her cheek hurt when he extended his hand towards her. Arden’s face grew hot when she noticed him studying her smile. The smile on her face lessened due to the embarrassment of him studying her but it did not go away completely.

Arden shook his hand as she sat down next to him. She was grateful for not having a window seat, that was another reason why she didn’t want to sit by herself. This was only her third time ever flying on a plane but the amount of people her and the staff combined helped her to calm down. They were trained professionals and this was a VERY expensive private jet. They probably had them triple check the engines so nothing would happen to them. The thought calmed Arden down a lot. “Nice to meet you Christin, My name’s Arden.” Arden had always hated her name because it was so weird.

Arden thanked the Flight attendant when she handed her, her wine glass. She took a few big sips before lowering the glass.

“What are you hoping to find here?”

Evalyn listened to Juliette as she voiced her locations she would like to go to. Many of the places she was talking about, she was nodding along, agreeing with the locations being interesting to visit. When she brought up Europe, Evalyn smiled, clearly excited as well.
"Oh! I would love to go to Europe as well. It would be fun to visit Germany where my family is from," she told her.
Soon enough, Evalyn followed Juliette's diresction as she talked to young man to join them. Evalyn couldn't help laugh a bit at what Juliette said and smiled at the young man to join us. He looked like he had just got out of college but was still young looking. Where or not he was, he was still attractive, well mainly cute in a way. Not that she would say that outloud since guys don't like being called cute.
Henry looked over to the two ladies on the couch as they motioned him to join them. He couldn't help blush a bit at the thought of two beautiful women asking him to even be with them. But he didn't want to be rude with the invitation and agreed to join the two.
"I thought since you two were having a conversation together, I didn't want to interrupt," Henry began as he took a seat beside Juliette, "By the way, I'm Henry."
Henry extended his hand toward Evalyn first and she took it, "Evalyn, nice to meet you."
Evalyn noticed his hands were a bit calloused. Maybe from his work, but it was a surprising feeling to feel from the young man before her. Henry turned his hand to Juliette next as he sent her a charming smile at her.

"Really? Your family is from Germany? My brother would be so jealous if he knew I could go to Germany... or even knew that I was here" She admitted a little bit sadly feeling a guilty that she was there after what happened to David. Juliette try not to show her emotions in front of Evalyn she didn't want to have people that was still strange for her pitying her and she also didn't want to be the person that ruin the mood of the trip due to her mixed feelings of her being here.
That's why she decided to make that joke to the new guy to avoid the conversation about David and make Evalyn not noticing how she really felt.
In fact Juliette wasn't expecting that the guy would come to them she didn't thought about what could happen if he really came to sit with them. The guy seem younger than Evalyn but older than Juliette maybe a year or two that's what she thought.
Juliette wasn't going to lie the guy was attractive more than Juliette really wanted to admit even though she kept those thoughts to herself. Juliette wasn't sure if she saw a light blush on his cheeks, she thought it was because he got embarrassed because some random girl talk to him out of nowhere and told him to sit with her but she decided not to give it a lot of thought "Yes we were talking but the more the merrier don't you think? We were trying to guess where would go first and what places we would like to visit and we both agree we wanted to go to Europe and Evalyn is really excite about going to Germany. So any specific place you would like to meet?" She ask him before he introduce himself. Now she knew his name, after he introduce himself to Evalyn. Juliette got embarrassed when Henry talk to her with that smile "Definitely he has a nice smile" She thought and was hoping that her face wasn't turning red even though she felt her cheeks a little bit warm "Juliette, nice to meet you" She said while she took his hand.

Queens, NY ~ On plane @ JFK Intl. Airport

Nanook could tell in the young woman's body language that she seemed slightly frazzled, but she otherwise played it off well. Maybe he'd caught her off-guard or she was uncomfortable. He scooted over a bit in his seat so maybe her space wouldn't feel so invaded. However, she sounded very friendly when she spoke and then introduced herself.

Extending her hand for him to shake, he took it and did such, noting the difference in size and the softer nature of her skin compared to his. "Hi, Jennifer." He smiled lightly. "I'm Nanook...Ochoa," he added in his surname at the last moment, deciding to match her level of formality. "Sorry if I caught you off-guard," he stated before turning his attention back to her guitar. "Do you play often?" He asked with a nod toward the instrument.

As the girl in front of him shook his hand he smiled a bit as she said “Nice to meet you Christin, My name’s Arden.”. 'Arden, what an interesting name, he thought to himself.' At getting a closer look of her she looked more beautiful then she was just walking into a plane. "That's a very unique name, Arden, unlike mine", Chris said in his strong English accent. When the drinks finally came from the flight attendant he took a deep breath knowing that's exactly what he needed.

"Thank you", he said to the flight attendant as she gave him his beer and Arden her red wine. He took some of it leaving only a little more than half in his glass and as he placed it down in the cup holder he heard one question that shocked him that it made him freeze for a second. “What are you hoping to find here?”, he heard her say. 'What am I looking for' he said to himself trying to find the perfect answer. Once he found it he smiled and says "Well, I am actually looking to settle down a bit from the party life, I might be 25 but it does get old. My roommates both have girlfriends and I'm just the partier who wants to settle down, to be honest". Chris had to dig deep in his mind to think of something. Yea he wanted a long vacation away from everyone but it's true he did want to settle down and he's tired of being with multiple girls on different nights. He just wants one to stay with him until the end.

Chris looked up at her and asked the same question she asked him, "Well, What are you hoping to find here Arden?"

Arden Sanders

To new friendships

How ya feeling?: Stupid

Outfit:x

New friendships:
Arden nodded thoughtfully while listening to Christin speak. She got the vibe that he was supposed to be the “edgy bad boy” and what he was telling her confirmed her suspicions. Arden was never that party girl. Arden’s parents kept her coddled like she was still a newborn but she was almost 25. She didn’t learn to drive until she was almost 20 because of her parents wanting to get her sheltered. That was one of the main reason why she worked with at her mother's bookstore but there comes a time in every girls life where she needs to be on her own. That’s why she was on this trip.

Arden took a few more sips of her glass of wine before setting it down. She pulled her long hair the from of her, sweeping it to the back so that it was out of the way.

“Well, what are you hoping to find here. Arden?”

She had to find the right words to say to him. She cold easily lie and tell this bogus story about how she was a crazy party girl too but the truth was she hasn’t even kissed more than 3 boys in her entire life. Arden brought her bottom lip in between her teeth and started chewing.

What’s the point if you started a relationship with a lie? So she opted for the truth and that’s what she told him.

“I’m trying to find myself, honestly. My parents kept me sheltered my entire life. They don’t even know I’m on this or they would flip their shit. I’m looking for my person. I thought maybe if I could find my person I couldn’t find myself along with it.”

Arden smiles sheepishly then take a couple more sips of her wine, downing the rest of it. " Is that stupid? Am I here for the wrong reason?"

JFK Airport
Jennifer smiled as she heard his name, "Hi Nanook...Ochoa," She slowly said his last name hoping she didn't say it incorrectly. She saw him scoot over a little and got a little worried, that she was scaring him away. She tried to calm herself down in case she was giving off an uptight or tense vibe.
"Oh no, you're fine," Jennifer said quickly. "I just got lost in playing and zoned out." Jennifer laughed a little and nodded. "Yeah, I tend to play whenever I'm stressed out or when I have time. So I guess I do play a lot," She said awkwardly as she looked down a little.

Queens, NY ~ On plane @ JFK Intl. Airport
Cleo had gotten comfortable in her seat and sipped jasmine tea as she waited for them to take-off. More than going through airport security, this was the part she hated the most. She had chosen a window seat but - although she glanced out of the window from time to time - she felt it was useless as long as they were on the ground. Perhaps, though this was the universe's way of telling her to work on her patience. The warm tea definitely helped.

The buzz of chatter began to fill the plane as more people boarded. Sitting up in her seat, she looked around and further observed her travel-mates as most seemed to be chatting away and getting acquainted. She wondered briefly if she appeared unfriendly, but then decided she didn't mind the solitude. It gave her more time to finish wrapping her mind around things and to focus on enjoying all this had to offer. --Which reminded her she should take pictures. Her family would ask plenty of questions and want to see lots of pictures. She reached into her purse and pulled out her phone to begin snapping pictures of the luxurious accommodations. She had brought an actual camera along and knew it would take nicer pictures; however, she didn't want to possibly make anyone uncomfortable or give them the idea that she was trying to snap pictures of them. She'd save the digital camera for their destinations.

After taking a number of plane pictures along with a few selfies, she began to go through them, her finger tapping and whisking away at the screen of her phone.
