Personal Data

Appearance: (Depict the operator with a picture or written description)

Name:

Age: (Operators who start younger generally develop better control due to greater levels of neural plasticity, so Red Queen occasionally inducts and fields operators as young as 16)

Birth Place: (the nations states of the 21st century largely crumbled under the stressors of the various Resource wars, most people on Earth were born in one of the independent mega cities that dot the planet or one of their smaller resource extraction satellite settlements. You can go into detail on the operator's place of origin if you feel like worldbuilding a bit.)

circumstances of recruitment: (How did this operator come to be recruited by Red Queen Security? What factors in their early life and psychology lead to them accepting the dangerous life of a mercenary HARframe operator? This is essentially the bio section so it should be at least two to three paragraphs.)

psychological assessment: (describe your operator's personality? What motivates them? how do they tend to go about solving their problems and navigating life? At least one paragraph)

Combat Data

Callsign: (Your operator's callsign is a one word code name used while deployed on missions and when interacting with clients. A callsign is partly an advertising tool to make the operator seem more competent in the eyes of prospective clients and build their reputation, so something flashy and cool sounding can actually be helpful.

HARframe model: (Red Queen Security allows its newly fielded operators to choose from a range of reliable, midrange tactical frames to begin their careers with. What is the name of the model your operator chose? Again if you feel like worldbuilding, you could go into more detail about the model's operational history, or the company that built it.

Performance Metrics

(A tactical frame's overall performance is measured through six key metrics. To begin with you have twenty points to allocate here, representing the baseline performance of your tactical frame, over time you'll earn more points, representing modular upgrades you add, or even moving to a new frame with better performance.)
Kinetic Output: (how much strength can the Frame exert? Higher kinetic output means a frame can lift more, run faster and punch harder)
Sensory Suite: (How well rounded and powerful are the Frame's sensory tools? Optical audio feeds are the bare minimum but frames with a high sensory suite make use of a wide range of tools to stay aware and informed in a variety of battlefield conditions)
Fine Motor Control: (How precisely and delicately can the frame be controlled? fine motor control is vital for precision shooting and an array of other tasks that require precise movements).
Processing Power: (How much is the cognitive power of the operator boosted by digital memory and processing? High processing power is most critical in electronic warfare, where it can be used to power through security algorithms and the like, but it can also be used to simulate tactics, predict trajectories and perform a wide array of other important battlefield calculations.
Battery Capacity: (Frames all have generators for sustained use, but high intensity combat operations usually drain more power than can be generated, so good battery capacity allows the operator to fight at 100 percent output for longer and make more rapid use of powerful augments with high power demands)
Durability: (How well protected from damage is the frame thanks to features like armour plating, redundant systems and hardened components. Being able to take a hit and stay in the fight is a critical advantage on the battlefield.

Operator skills assessment

(Before being granted a HARframe, Red Queen recruits are hooked up to full spectrum VR for a gruelling training course. Every recruit is expected to learn the basics, but instructors also work to identify areas of talent and interest in each recruit, allowing them to develop unique skill sets that will complement each other on the battlefield. You can allocate 20 points among the categories here.)
Marksmanship: (How proficient your character is at firing a wide range of firearmsm from handguns up to heavy machine guns and anti material rifles.)
Close-quarters Combat: (How skilled is your Operator at unarmed or melee weapon combat. Thanks to the advent of kinetic barriers melee combat has risen to greater combat, as modern particle edge weapons will punch through barriers and armor quite easily. Operators often train with and wield an array of exotic melee weapons that will give them an edge in close quarters duels.
Field-craft: (how good is your character at moving undetected and navigating difficult terrain)
Electronic Warfare: (How good is your operator at hacking into secure systems, including those of other frames? How good are they at defending themselves from hostile hacking attempts?)
Explosives handling: (How proficient is your character at handling explosive devices and weapons from grenades and plastic explosives up to missile launchers and grenade machine guns.
Piloting: (How good is your character at controlling vehicles and drones?)

HARframe augments
(An augment is a modular package of hardware and software designed to give a HARframe a completely new capability. The most widespread augment type are kinetic barrier systems, which utilise a combination of motion sensors and particle emitters to project barriers for split seconds at a time to protect the user from gun fire, but there are many other kinds of augment as well. Active camouflage systems which render the user nearly invisible; microfactories that fabricate ammunition and explosives on the go so their user never runs dry; drone bays which power and control drones for scouting or new vectors of attack. Augments can offer all these capabilities and more, but they come at a cost: Augments contribute greatly to an operators risk SDD (see worldbuilding page) and so have to be balance out with an SDD counterweight, an augment that is designed to improve quality of life and make the operator feel more human, lowering SDD risk back within acceptable parameters. Red Queen outfits its newly minted operators with a standard kinetic barrier augment because entering any combat zone without barriers is tantamount to suicide, but a second slot is free for the operator to customise to their liking and as operators grow in experience they can safely handle more augments, unlocking more slots over time. )

Augment one:Ascentech Escutcheon 3.1 Kinetic Barrier suite
description: A cost effective but reliable shielding package, the escutcheon offers all of the modern safety features (iff cutouts, 3.57 metre sensor bubble, manual overrides and so on) at price point suitable for mass deployment, albeit without the sheer resilience that truly high end kits can offer.
SDD counterweight augment: Synergen touchweave synthskin:
description: A synthskin is a sheath synthetic material meant to mimic human skin and simulate a sense of touch through an array of interwoven pressure sensors. Synthskins are considered a key SDD counterweight that greatly improves an operator's sense of humanity, allowing them to look in a mirror and see something that looks like a human being for the most part. The Synergen touchweave is an older, budget range synthskin, lacking the dynamic body warmth simulators popular in civilian models and sporting an obsolete touch simulator based on haptic feedback programs from the previous generation. Still most operators will agree that any synthskin is better than no synthskin at all and there are worse models than the touchweave on the market.

augment two:

Personal Equipment:
(This is a list of equipment your character routinely takes into missions with them. You can change up what you take before each mission if you think something else would be more effective and in some missions you'll be outright forbidden from taking certain weapons (blending in with civilians for example would be difficult with a military grade assault rifle) so this is more like your default load out, what your character is assumed to have unless otherwise specified. If you're unsure of what to put here then check out the armoury section of the worldbuilding page for some examples and try to exercise a bit of restraint, there's no numerical system to balance what equipment you take but try to lug a whole platoon worth of gear into the field and I'll have to have a word with you)

Miscellaneous Data
(Optional Section, you can delete any parts of it you don't want to fill in, or even the whole section.)

Personal quarters specifications: (Although Operators need minimal sleep and can easily sleep while locked upright, they are still allotted a small, personal bunk for mental health reasons. SDD counterweight augments that fully organic sleep are popular as well, so many operators end up making use of an actual bed at some point. Whatever they use the space for, most Operators take some time to customise their bunk room to their tastes, making in an interesting window into their personality.

Additional Notes: (any other details about your operator you'd like to include.)

Name: Stella Morris

Age: 18

Height: 5'4

Birth Place: Kwon Fort. The only city-state remaining on the Korean peninsula. During the early years in the resource war the peninsula became one of the first area thet went into full-blown war with multiple superpower nations chipping their interest into it. The result was devastating with almost all lands rendered unfit for living due to high nuclear radiation level. During the war Kuontech built a safehaven for anyone who got sick of the war or think this had been escalated way too much, regardless of where they originated from. After the peninsula war ended Kwon Fort becomes the only place habitable in the peninsula, Kuontech uncontestedly rose in power as they claim to have united both South and North Korea while also assimilating all the foreigners who got stranded there.

circumstances of recruitment:
Stella was born in Kwon Fort but would later joins her parents and their little group around inside their gigantic nuclear-powered armored truck as he goes collecting resources from various extraction sites and bring it back to Kwon Fort. It didn't take long for the girl to pick up skills from her father ranging from things like how to drive a truck and maintain it to how to handle radioactive items. Radiation aside, the trips were usually pretty safe as there's not much people who wanders the Korean wilderness except fellow transporters like them. It really took them off guard when one day another armored truck start chasing them and then rammed their truck until it tilted upside down. Stella was thrown out of the window, which not only broke her bones but also exposed her to the radiation outside, but that might be why she survived it as their assailant scooped the loads before lighting the rest of the truck on fire. It took several hours before reinforcements from Kwon Fort arrived to put out the fire and rescued the battered Stella. Just from a glance it was very clear that the only way to save her was by frame transfersal as her body started melting from the radiation so they did, and against all odds she survived the procedure.

After months of theraphy Stella returned to her work as a transporter following different group. Her colleagues at the time always described her as someone who barely talks and spent most of her free time just staring outside as if she was waiting for something to appear. That's actually what was happening, Stella knew that one day those assailant who raided her family's truck would attack another one. The day finally arrived when Stella saw the same truck speeding behind her group. She couldn't contain herself and immediately went out by herself to engage them. She jumped onto their truck and wrecked havoc on it until the truck went off road and swiveled into a river, killing all the people inside. After investigation turns out those people are a newly formed rebel group who were disappointed at Kwon Fort and were trying to create a new settlement but rebuilding a hidden nuclear bunker. After the ordeal Stella was send off to Red Queen so she could obtains a new frame and gets a new line of work.

psychological assessment:
Stella is a reckless person who would jump into danger without much thought put into it. While she might sounds like a rude adrenaline junkie, a lot of her attitudes stemmed from her desire to prevent other people she care from being harmed. She seemed to embrace her cybernetic self and shows great enthusiasm at modding her own frame.

Miscellaneous Data

Personal quarters specifications:

Stella's personal quarter looks like a mess and really shows her disregard for some aspects of human life. Rather than a bedroom it looks more like a garage with tools and materials scattered and no bed in sight. She's really fond of monster truck and has a collection shelf full of miniature trucks, some were bought but the majority of it she made herself.

Name:
Riley Whitacker

Age:
19

Birth Place:
Delta Green (A chaotic floating city located somewhere in the Florida everglades Delta Green was founded in response to rising sea levels wiping out Miami and most other settlements along the coast of Florida. Refugees pushed back by the rising tides wielded together pontoons and boats into dense network of bridges, platforms and vessels and later more substantial foundations were put down at a raised height to make them flood proof. Delta Green is a net food exporter, controlling a network of farming settlements that use the small sections of the Everglades with low enough salinity to sustain Pre Resource flood plain crops like rice and sugar. These high demand crops can only be grown in limited qualities however so the bulk of city's food production is in algae and insect protein, both of which thrive in the humid, brackish muck. Bogrot, an alcohol made from fermented algae is considered something of a local delicacy.

circumstances of recruitment:
Riley is one of a handful of legacy operators, children whose parents were operators and so grew up on the Elizabeth and upon reaching adulthood took up the mantle themselves. Riley was actually born in Green Delta, the floating city in the Floridian everglades, to a pair of young and desperate farmers. The humid, unhygienic environment was a breeding ground for diseases and shortly after Riley's birth her Mother and later her Father as well were both stricken by a bacterial infection common in the region, colloquially known as "swamp-lung". Unable to afford either treatment, or the time spent in recovery, Riley's parents were forced to take out loans to convert to HARframe operators, leveraging their mechanised labour for the foreseeable future. The Whitaker's had their debt bought out by Hydronica a local agribusiness and were pressed into services as enforcers, sweeping the backwaters of the company's territory for hidden "wildcat" farms setup by drug cartels and runaway indentured workers.

The Whitaker's came into contact with Red Queen Security when the PMC was contracted to investigate Hydronica for illicit nexite cultivation when whistle blowers alleged the company was intentionally exposing injured workers to sorenkoff radiation, turning them into SEROS to harvest for the valuable crystals that grow within them. When Red Queen operators raided a Hydronica compound the Whitakers were forced into defending it and briefly held off the much better equipped and armed PMC forces for a brief time, impressing the mercenaries with their teamwork and ferocity. Fortunately the Whitakers were disabled instead of killed when their position was stormed and in the aftermath a Red Queen officer offered them a job.

The Whitaker's gathered up their meagre belongings and moved aboard the Elizabeth, taking their young daughter with them. After some much needed formal training and hardware upgrades the married couple enjoyed a short but successful career as operators that was tragically cut short when a mission went bad, a client had concealed some key details about expected opposition to lower the price of service. When the Red Queen team was ambushed the Whitakers stayed behind to cover the retreat of their comrades, losing their lives together in the process.

As was company policy in such circumstances, Red Queen took responsibility for Riley's upbringing, keeping her aboard the Elizabeth to enjoy the high living standards and obtain a decent education. Although there was never any obligation or expectation that Riley would have to follow in her parent's footsteps, Riley was totally fixated on the idea, training and studying obsessively and applying for HARframe transferal as soon as she was old enough. That effort didn't necessarily make Riley a lot of friends but it did pay dividends, she graduated Red Queen's internal training program with top marks. Now a freshly minted operater, Riley is determined to live up to her parents' legacy and payback the company she feels indebted to.

psychological assessment:
RIley is, bluntly, a bit of a killjoy. Serious, driven and strongly loyal to the company she works for Riley has little in the way of outside interests and tackles even the most minor aspects of her work with laser like focus and mechanical precision. When Riley's parents died and Red Queen more or less adopted her the company and her parent's legacy became intertwined in her mind. For Riley being a good operator is the way to carry on what her parents started and simultaneously prove that she isn't merely the benefactor of pity or a guilty conscience but a worthwhile investment in her own right. At her core Riley is beset by a sense of inadequacy, that her parents were wrong to sacrifice so much and ultimately themselves to provide a better life for her and her drive to succeed is always partially and effort to silence that sense of guilt.

Although a lot of the senior operators who watched Riley grow up are fond of her, she has trouble getting along with people her own age, having a tendency to be perceived as (and act like) a bit of a teacher's pet or a benefactor of nepotism, whose connections to higher ups in the company give her an unfair advantage. For her part Riley mostly perceives her peers as competition to be exceeded, or for those who don't conduct themselves with what she sees as the proper level of professionalism and effort, as hindrances to be managed, an attitude that may need to be corrected if she truly intends to rise through the ranks of the company to a leadership position.

augment two: Sky-hook duo, paired mag-ac cable launcher
description: a twin pair of magnetically accelerated grappling hook devices mounted within the forearms of a HARframe. The skyhook system is both a mobility aid: able to launch a grappling hook up to 200 metres away and rapidly retract its cable while bearing the weight of a fully armed and armoured tactical frame and a restraining device, able to pierce and pull in manoeuvring opponents. In a pinch the skyhook even makes for an adequate offensive weapon, able to pierce through armour at close range thanks to its heavy weighted grappling harpoons, which travel just slow enough to avoid tripping the sensors of most kinetic barriers, though that does mean an opponent with sharp reflexes can manually trigger their barriers to deflect it.
SDD counterweight augment: Lucidia dream engine
description: A software package and life support plugin designed to allow HARframe operators to experience true sleep cycles and dreaming to promote their mental health. The lucidia is an accelerated cycle model dream engine, meaning it is capable of running the human brain through an entire sleep cycle in just under an hour. Critics argue that these accelerated cycles are less effective and restful in the long term, but for some people there are too few hours in the day to spend more than one of them dreaming.

Personal Equipment:
name
Luska Expeditionary
description: a machete patterned particle cutter, the Expeditionary is popular in regions with dense plant growth such as jungles, swamps and the like where it can be used to blaze a trail or separate a head from a neck just as easily. Riley's expeditionary belonged to her Father.

name: Leona arms KA Vanguard, marksman variant.
description: a full length heavy assault rifle, of the kind that are becoming more popular recently due to the good anti barrier performance they offer. The vanguard was designed with HARframe operators in mind, so weight was largely discarded as a design constraint in favour of ruggedness, reliability and relative compactness. This marksman variant has a variable zoom optic, an extended barrel and side mounted laser range finder for improved accuracy at long ranges. It should be noted however that anti barrier performance drops at long ranges, as a multiple round burst generally needs to make contact to punch through barriers.

name RQS mk37 fragmentation grenade x5
description A high quality fragmentation grenade designed and manufactured aboard the Elizabeth to save on procurement.

name Ascentech Silkscreen Obfuscation grenade mk8 X5
description A modern smoke grenade, it releases both chemical smoke and tiny, reflective shards of metal that confound a variety of sensory devices in addition to simple optic feeds.

Miscellaneous Data

Personal quarters specifications:
Mostly spartan with a few odd knick-knacks inherited from Riley's parents: a battered guitar; a hideous rug; an automated aquatic terrarium hosting a patch of Green Delta algae.

Additional Notes: Although otherwise perfectly well coordinated and sensible most of the time, Riley is for some reason an absolute menace to herself and others behind the wheel of any vehicle. Her 1 point in piloting was awarding only after hundreds of attempts on the simulated training course and she only succeeded by dint of rote memorisation of the course and all its possible variations and obstacles. For some reason Riley has not really internalised this deficiency and will merrily attempt to drive anything when given the opportunity. Do not allow this.

Or.. rather.. what was one... head is still there.

Name: David Darner, D.D

Age: 26

Birth Place: Arctic Resource Extraction Platform #3 (Colloquially ARP 3) is a site for one of the more larger industrial mining platforms placed on the newly(in comparison) uncovered lands of the receded Arctic. While having it's moments of being retaken by the frost due to the sudden... Cataclysm, the infrastructure remained in place and prepared for the return of frosts that slowly encroached out once things started to cool again. Since then, ARP 3 remained the most northward placed REP in the Northern hemisphere!

With on sight refinement and mining operations the extension into heavy industry wasn't too much of a stretch for the ARP, given the fact they were heavily isolated, and now currently with the nexite fueled world they had to become a tiny little island of industry in the middle of an ocean of snow, ice, buried resources and whatever horrible monsters existed out there that managed to survive the first two. Due to the type of work, HARframe are more common than one might expect, especially for miners. Security Core focuses more on outside threats while the Resource Expeditionary Force tends to keep an eye on the issues down below, due to the old organic material down below, beneath the ice or simply from the Arctic ocean that broke through by digging... oddly, the local populace is less an issue, when procedures are a party of your daily life since you were born, things tend to be safer than our of immediate necessity.

The ongoing culture of the ARP 3 is that of a tight community, when danger is so close by it puts certain things into perspective, even if you hate the guy next to you, it beats having to deal with the crap around you alone.

"Invention through necessity, and we sure as hell are in need." - 3rd Platform Manager Robert Reid

Circumstances of recruitment: "Hey yo, its yea boy D.D here with, ta da, storytime. You asked for it and now i'mma give it to you, largely because the runner up on the poll was a frame bathtub stream and i don't think the consors will like that. Last time I allow yea to put in custom poll votes. Anyways so, I was living up in ARP 3 at the time, only place I ever lived beyond the Red Queen's bountiful bosom here. Ma worked out in the grow zones for what food we grow in the Plat rather than trade for, underground farming with sun lamps type of thing, some of ya'll know it.

ARP 3 call out to ya'll in chat, don't let your asses freeze off.

Anyways, Pa was a frame operator, you'd be surprised how many folks go into that stuff there, he worked refinery for years till an accident took his legs and arm, but, long story short he Plat loves nothing more than covering for good folks. And my pa? he was one of the best damn workers yea could ever see. Still there, old coot probably still showing off too. Course you might be thinking "Hey DD don't HARframes have no bits?" well I'll tell yea a secret...

...I would tell yea anyways but again censors.

Anyways, out I came, crying, squealing, breathing fire, all the nonesense. Lived pretty easy life like all kids, till it came time to start choosing what i wanted to do with my life. Folks learned quick the problems with forcing people into something they don't wana do, learn a history lesson or two about the 4th Plat manager and you'll see what happens to folks who abuse the power. You've probably played games based off it, Call of Battle 15 Frozen Dragon? Bit of a call back to an oldie but hey.

..Where was I?

Ah yea so I went into Frame Dev. Yea might know the company Iron Frost? Yea, I helped around there getting my licensing and figuring out the ins and outs of the things. IF was good to me, but... something out there just calls yea to it... And that something for me...

Was a Nexite containment canister leak.

Whew boy i saw pics of me after the fact, I was out cold in a coma and infected like nobody's business. But, given I was a damn good engineer, the legal accountability and all put on company... And the fact apparently my ma threatened to kill the fuckers and insurance is killer. I ended up getting in a metal box. Now this handsome face wasn't always like this see, had a chunk missing here or there and metal in it's place, didn't do well for the mind yea see. It's one thing to have a scar, another to be reduced to a brain, face, melded skull and what organs/bits were still acceptable to keep, again, censors.

But... i'm doing good. still smoke despite being told not to. But... a guy has to feel human.. And we are still human. Keep that in mind folks, even if a fellah is stuck in a metal machine... he's still got a heart and mind. treat them well, and treat your fellows well alright?

...Wait how did I join Red Queen? well shit I was recruited after I jumped to REF for some experimental stuff I can't talk about. turns out i'm good at what i do anywhere, it's hard containing all this talent yea know?"

Psychological assessment: Jovial, put simply he is an optimist to a large degree. His life before and after being put into the frame is one of laughter and jokes. he may come off as brash from it, and really he does often say abit more than he should... But he truely wears his heart on his sleeve and never takes it off. his principals are locked in stone and bound in several centuries of permafrost. DD seems to focus on trying to remain human despite his metal casing, reefering to the various parts not so much as parts of a machine but parts of him.

"Accept yourself, whats you is you, we all hate parts of ourselves inside and out but it don't mean it ain't you."

Callsign: Hard Knocks

HARframe model: Rook MK I, a relatively heavy front-line support model with more intention to provide a hardy long lasting frame capable of withstanding frontal assault and providing support of various assignments but is very rarely ever sent in alone. Hosting a suit of strong armor with plentiful batteries for it's class alongside a standard array for sensory, proce4ssing power and just straight up muscle. This lumbering frame is more about holding fast and holding hard. it takes a calm and careful minded opperator to understand that the best place for this frame isn't in chasing an enemy.

But already being where they want to be.

Notable experienced users:

Callsign Benkei, a man whose name has long since been lost but used as a symbol for the staunch steadfast protectors against the horrible monsters that want to take out the last good humanity has still on it's feet. Standing between SERO monsters and a escape vessel struggling to take off with a cargo of civies, the Second Standing Death of Benkei is seen as a reminder of the reason HARframes are used to protect, and a honored sacrifice.

Call sign Stinky Pete, used self as a plug for a underwater craft that had a breech saving life of the crew and self.

Still most operators will agree that any synthskin is better than no synthskin at all and there are worse models than the touchweave on the market.

augment two:witchlight sorenkoff projector
description:
The witchlight is a "hardlight" particle emitter able to project constructs of organised sorenkoff particles in a variety of simple shapes and configurations at short to medium ranges. Most often the witch light and similar devices are used to produce temporary cover at short notice, but its versatility allows it to be used for many other purposes
SDD counterweight augment: Narcissus Hair Mod
description: Have you missed having to deal with the slow encroach of the eventual hair stylist visit? Now you can relive that part of your life with Narcissus! Don't let the name fool you, this mod allows one to relive the feeling of growth through technology. Grown at a rate of your own choosing, the hair mod simulates constant growth of hair upon most if not all Simskin brands! Beards, moustaches, bangs, ponytails you name it!

Personal Equipment:
Ascentech Adjudicator 300

A flat field emitter built into the more conventional form of a nightstick or baton, the adjudicator series is most notable for variable strength field, making it ideal in enforcer work, where the weapon might be used to "gently" disperse an angry mob or blast away a rampaging SERO. Responding to complaints about the Adjudicator 200's "dystopian" and "oppressive" aesthetic, the 300 is now also available in arctic white

1340 Spitfire

With its easily concealable form factor and blistering rate of fire, the spitfire is a favourite of cartels and other groups where accurate fire tends to fall by the wayside although the same advantages make it attractive to security details, who can lay down oppressive hails of fire to hold back attackers until a vip can be safely removed from danger. In military theatres the spitfire's voracious consumption of ammo and limited penetration make it a less enticing proposition, although customised calibre conversions to more modern cartridges like the 2300 are reportedly becoming more popular.

NIKO Arms 2311 Sidewinder
A compact and reliable sidearm chambered in the needle shaped 2300 calibre, widely touted as the smallest cartridge effective against kinetic barriers. Marketed primarily towards enforcers and personal defence, the sidewinder is of limited use against military grade barriers, but repeated, accurate shots with it can still sometimes disable them often enough that the Sidewinder sees use as a fallback weapon in those scenarios. The Sidewinder also touts a high degree of modability and is compatible with popular additions like high capacity magazines, improved holographic sights, an effective sound suppressor and NIKO arms proprietary explosive tipped 2300s, which improve performance against barriers and armour

Name: Keena "Shion" Sutherland

Age: 22

Birth Place: Exalt

Exalt is a city state located on south-western coast of what was once the United Kingdom. Named after the mega corporation that founded its conceptualization: Exaltis Industries. Being one of the most recent additions to the world after the resource wars ended, Exalt prides itself on its technological prowess. A number of modern breakthroughs in HARframe and Nexite technology have been discovered here thanks to their top of the line research and testing programs.

The city itself is split into 3 districts. The Analytics Sector, the Pleasure Quarter, and The Vale. The Analytics Sector (Colloquially known as TAS) is the city's claim to fame, hosting a number of industries ranging from HARframe R&D, to weapons manufacturing, to everyday technologies. It's essentially the cities industrial center, though a number of areas are sectioned off for political and civic purposes.

The Pleasure Quarter is the city's entertainment center, filled to the brim with theaters, restaurants, casinos, and just about anything else you can think up. This area is rife with tourists, and makes up a surprising amount of the city's total economic value, though most of it gets pumped back into TAS.

Lastly the Vale is where the majority of the city's working class live. It's namesake was derived from the hills and valleys that compose it. Though even this is divided further into segments depending on your monetary value. The wealthy typically either live in the Pleasure Quarter or the highest hills in the Vale. The less fortunate live further down in the Vale, where any intervening forces are less likely to be found and crime runs rampant.

Circumstances of Recruitment: Keena grew up in the High Vale of Exalt born to Anais and Marshall Sutherland. Her parents were both researchers working under a subsidary of Exaltis known as Amano Technologies, so they were quite wealthy. She had a picturesque childhood, at least as much as you could have in the current hellscape of the world.

Her mother was tasked with leading over a top secret project within the main Amano lab named Project Saber. Nothing was known about it outside of the name as no information was permitted to leave the facility. Her mother began coming less and less frequently, sometimes not seeing her for months at a time while she was spearheading the project. One day however, she seemed to vanish. Amano security personnel quickly began investigating into the dissapearance of Anais, starting with her husband and daughter.

Questions turned into demands and demands quickly turned into violence. Amano knew that word could NOT get out about Project Saber, so they decided to contain any threats to their security. Keena and her father managed to escape by the skin of their teeth thanks to the help of a family friend. Though all of a sudden everything had changed. They were on the run. No home. No money. Nothing left. After calling in some favors with old friends, they managed to make their way out of the city's grasp, moving to a much more secluded satellite settlement on the outskirts of New Rome where Keena spent most of her young adult life, working various odd jobs with her father to make ends meet.

Though the weary never get time to rest.

Adiantum as the settlement was known, was a water treatment facility made with the purpose of providing potable water to the city state, stationed further inland. Though no one would blame you if you didn't know about it. A shard of nexite involving one of the processes for water purification wasn't properly shielded causing a slow spread of Sorenkoff particles to anyone nearby. While this had only caused some minor debilitating effects across those affected, it eventually lead to too many of the personnel getting sick, leaving the area unattended for too long and causing a pipe to burst resulting in a large break in the shielding. Sorenkoff particles shot through the air, creating SEROS in the process and resulting in the inevitable downfall of the settlement.

By the time Red Queen had arrived, Aduiantum had all but fallen, save for Keena, who had only barely managed to survive long enough for Red Queen to find her due to her father drawing away the Seros from her location. She was badly wounded and had already fallen victim to a rapid progression of SERS, forcing her to leave her flesh behind and inhabit a HARframe.

She never found out anymore about Project Saber, nor what happened to her mother, but perhaps Red Queen can be an opportunity to seize back the life that was wrongfully stripped from her.

Psychological Assessment: Despite her past (or because of it) Keena has the demeanor of a happy-go-lucky fox. She doesn't take things too seriously and rarely gets upset (unless its a competition. Godspeed to anyone who challenges her). She is however, incredibly fickle, constantly swapping from one interest to the next and never setting her sights on any end goal in particular.

What she lacks in discipline though, she makes up for in almost annoyingly upbeat positivity. She's rarely seen without a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. Astute observers can see a pained twinge beneath both of these however, but she'd never admit that.

HARframe model: Liddel Engineering GC5-1

This 5th generation model is a front-line scouting model, specializing in reconnaissance and hit n' run tactics. It's heavy hit to durability decreases it's weight and allows power to be amplified in other metrics of the frame. It's lithe build lends well to hitting hard and fast, and it's sensory and processing capabilites allow it to accurately and efficiently relay information to the main unit.

The orginal model was designed for roving and exploration of the post-war wastelands, it quickly found its place on the battlefield after an operator under the callsign "Canvas" was able to showcase its abilities in what was deemed a suicide mission, being able to map out an entire SERO Basecamp after the rest of their squadron had already fallen and making it out alive. All generations were henceforth named in honor of them with the moniker GC. G standing for Golden, coming from his mercenary company Golden Parade, and C being their callsign Canvas.

Augment Two: Wildcat Vector Thrust System.
Description: A series of linked jet thrusters positioned at the shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and ankles of a HARframe, The wild cat system can be used to accelerate dashes, dives, jumps an even punches, kicks or other close quarters tactics to blistering speeds. The system is not capable of full flight or even hovering, though it can be used to change trajectory in midair, or boost regular jumps into gravity defying leaps.
SDD counterweight augment: Sensera Olfactory Soft Sim
Description: An olfactory simulation system allowing the bearer to render smells in real time, though as it's a low end model the precision of the simulation is dulled compared to luxury models.

Personal Equipment:

Amano Technologies Ryuten Mk. 2

An older generation model of Amano's Ryuten line of swords. This wakizashi is a smaller curved sword suited to indoor fighting and parrying, though there has been a recent rediscovery of the Niten Ichi-Ryu style of dual swordsmanship with which this particular model was built in mind. Sorenkoff particles are infused into the blade itself, rather than surrounding it which cause this model to become much more durable as a result.

Kanazawa Industries Namikiri Vx50
The latest in the line of Kanazawa's popular "particle katanas" the Namikiri leverages the wisdom of hundreds of years of martial arts tradition on the modern battlefield. Featuring an improved hilt design, with a magnetic attachment option for those with metal hands, the Namikiri also fields a newly introduced bi-directional particle cycle that senses and moves with the swing of the user rather than fighting against it. An elegant weapon for a thoroughly uncivilised age.

Garda Frontier Osmanthus Flier V4
A scout drone equipped with high quality A/V feeds and a carbon steel shielding that improved its durability from the last generation. While it trades for this in speed it more than makes up for it with its customizable UI to fit any mission.

Exaltis Industries Paladin EX-57
A submachine gun rated highly for its ease of use among new contracts. Its rate of fire is low compared to the standard, but the lower recoil and higher stopping power makes sure that each bullet counts.

-Streams regularly, usually games, but also does karaoke streams under the name Shion. Her main content though is livestreams of missions she gets deployed on. It's unclear as to whether her superiors don't know that she does this, or just don't care. She hasn't taken the initiative to check.

-She loves old fighting games, at least old in terms of the current year. She claims her fighting style is based off of all the "broken katana characters". Has a custom arcade stick that she's lovingly dubbed "Mallory".

Name: Jack Hollow

Age: 18

Birth Place: Novella York

circumstances of recruitment: (How did this operator come to be recruited by Red Queen Security? What factors in their early life and psychology lead to them accepting the dangerous life of a mercenary HARframe operator? This is essentially the bio section so it should be at least two to three paragraphs.)

psychological assessment:

A bright mind in a young body, Jack Hallow surely is a witty and absolute smart ass. He loves to poke at others trying to get a reaction out of them constantly, especially targeting the serious friends he’ll make in the future.

He absolutely thinks their reaction to his constant annoyance is worth his head getting out into the ground. Or if that’s what you call a head. Once again, Jack is a smart ass, and a witty one at that, able to remember something ages ago and bring it back up just to poke at someone to get that reaction he craves for his own comedic sense.

His opinion on rule followers is that they are constant mood kills and always wants to lighten up the situation and make everyone happy and enjoy themselves, even if they’ll hate him for it- but hey! That’s Jack Hollow for you!

description:
a light sensitive skin sheathe able to change colour in real time to match nearby scenery, producing a pseudo invisibility or active camouflage effect. Rapid motion can result in the system being outpaced, producing a blurry silhouette instead of seamless invisibility, but paired with proper stealth tactics the Jaguar can be highly effective for eluding visual detection.

description:
A software package and life support plugin designed to allow HARframe operators to experience true sleep cycles and dreaming to promote their mental health.

Name:
Khaliuna Bayanbold

Age: 21

Birth Place: NonobaCo Research and Production Space Station

Circumstances of Recruitment: Khaliuna was the first child to be born on NonobaCo’s Space Station, and the youngest child of the Nonoba family. However, she never met any of her siblings a single time in her life. She spent the vast majority of her life aboard Nonoba Co’s Research and Production Space Station, while her siblings were somewhere on the planet Khaliuna had read so much about.

Khaliuna quickly grew tired of the confines of the space station. Everyday was more or less the same, and her father was rarely around to spend any time with her. However, one of the Nonoba Co. engineers gifted the young girl a VR system to help her experience that which she would never get to otherwise. She quickly began to spend the majority of her time in virtual worlds, and she loved it. Once she was 17, she began to broadcast her VR adventures.

Oddly enough, tons of people tuned in. Khaliuna became relatively well known, primarily in a popular shooter VR game commonly used as basic training for brand new Nonoba Co. ‘bodyguards’. She took the high score in in every category, ranging from long ranged marksmenship, to short distance engagements. Much to her audiences amusement however, she was laughably bad at any sort of hand to hand combat. It was fun time for Khaliuna, and one she looks upon fondly.

However, peace came to an abrupt end when explosions rang out across the space station. While the damage wasn’t catastrophic, the containment in the Nexite based research had been annihilated, and Sorenkoff particles were rapidly spreading throughout the space station.

Khaliuna and several other higher ups in the company were able to escape, but they were unable to escape the sorenkoff particles. The escape shuttle crash landed somewhere off the coast of what used to be Iceland. It was there that she was discovered, and recruited to become an Operator. With her body slowly being consumed by the sorenkoff particles, the only way to save her was to out her brain into a harframe. Oddly enough, one had been sent to the Red Queen Operators specifically intended for her.

When she awoke in her new metallic body, Khaliuna vowed to use this second chance at life to explore the world alongside the Red Queen Operators.

Psychological Assessment: Without much knowledge of the world, Khaliuna tends to be very naive and gullible. However, she has a fierce determination that ensures that she never gives up until her harframe can no longer move.
