"I like tiny stuff!"
(Updated 7-9-25)
Hi, everybody! I'm looking for a few RP's to start, and I have a few ideas I'm going to throw out there! Also, feel free to DM me any ideas you have! (If you're interested, see my General Rules below!)
If there are any other girls thinking about applying, feel free to ask! We'll just have to change things around from a romantic RP to non-romance based, and/or change the male character to a female one.

Here are some of the FxM romantic plots I'd be interested in:
SMALL TOWN!
—Two high school friends from a small town (both liked each other, but never said anything) who are seperated just after graduation, then reunited five years later in said same small town and become roommates, then later something more.
(I think smartphones ruin everything story-wise, but I also like modern music, so I'm pretty interested in either these characters not liking technology or at least smartphones, or this story taking place in an alternate present where smartphones weren't invented.)

—(Note: I was thinking this story could take place in a somewhat vague version of the "Cowboy Bebop" anime universe, or something original we could come up with. I kind of like the slight comedic aspect of Bebop. It's a nice break from the seriousness of bounty hunting.)
—When their home ship is mostly destroyed, along with the other three members of their crew being killed, two bounty hunters (male and female) draw on their friendship and sheer will to survive until their ship can be repaired. Currently living out of a small two-pilot personal spacecraft and a slew of cheap asteroid outpost hotels, they've depended on each other greatly, both working to collect as many bounties as they can to pay for the ship repairs and their dinner for the next few days, growing much closer in the process. With their forced constant proximity and the deepening of their emotional bonds, they soon realize they're becoming more than good friends.
(Note: I already have a character in mind for this one, though the profile and story info differs from the story synopsis I gave for this story idea. I think the characters should be in their early to mid 30's.)

Name: Adelline Marque.
Sex/Sexuality: Female/Straight.
Age: 34.
Height: 5'8".
Build: Sinewy, lean muscle.
Ethnicity: American, Swedish, French, Spanish.
Skin Tone: White.
Hair/Facial Hair: Long blonde hair left loose, but braided when working.
Notable Facial Features: Light acne scarring across her nose and cheeks.
Eye Color: Aquamarine.
Markings and Tattoos: An 8 in. scar on the back of her right thigh from a mild crash landing. No tattoos.
Nervous Tics and Habits: She picks her lips, and hasn't been able to let them heal up. She covers this with lipgloss, but it's not completely hidden and they're kind of rough from the constant scabs.
Personality Traits: Honest, bold, organized, quiet, rude (when she's nervous, or feels the need to be left alone), curious, nurturing, brave, defensive of others.
Personality: She's normally a quiet person, but speaks her mind when she needs to. She enjoys the companionship of working with a crew, and doesn't mind the slow pace of a lack of bounties to hunt. She's probably too companionate for her chosen profession, believing that most people should get a second chance, including a few of the marks she let escape or even set free in the past.
Abilities: Can pilot any small personal spacecraft and multiple of the larger freight types, along with being able to make minor repairs. She's a decent cook, and good at bookeeping, growing things, and has moderately good aim with a plasma rifle.
Background: She was born on the small planet of Phylo, verdent and widely inhabited, almost exclusively by humans, and raised by her loving single mother and her two happy uncles. Her uncles were mildly well to do, so she lived having her needs met. The younger of her two uncles, Maliinn, taught her to fly personal spacecraft, to her mother's strife, and by the age of 14 could pilot any small passenger craft. She got a job at 17 flying freight at a small spaceport that served the upper hemisphere of her home planet. Her mother didn't like it, but knew the money would serve as a good starting point for her future, esp. since Adelline was saving every cent.
When she was 20, her mother became I'll, and passed 1 year and 9 months later. This sent her into a fairly deep depression, and she left the planet that same year to get away from everything, going to Earth. She picked up a job ferrying passengers to and from Earth and the moon. On one of these flights, she saw a wanted criminal caught by a bounty hunter, and before the hunter could leave the ship, she asked to become his apprentice. He was a few years her junior, but had much experiance, and agreed. She flew with him for years, and once shed caught a few wanteds on her own, she left her mentor at age 24 to join the crew of the (insert name of homeship the two Chara are now in charge of). She got on well with her new crew and found she worked well on a team. She soon became friends with The Male Chara of this RP.
Then (six months before the beginning of this story?), the homeship is attacked by a mafia hand leader who's daughter was caught by the crew of the (name the ship!) All but The Two Chara of this RP were killed in the battle, and the ship was wrecked beyond being used as living quarters until it was repaired. The Two Chara of this RP had the main damage repaired, and have been acquiring the parts and fixing the rest themselves since then, catching bounties along the way to buy parts and pay off their now large debt.

MANIFESTATION POWERS!
—Two 19 year olds (or possible older, maybe closer to 30?) begin attending a secret government-sponsored college for people with manifestation(/elemental/psychological?) powers hidden away in secluded forrested mountains. They choose to become study partners because they're both around the same age — both older than the majority demographic at the school of 18 (the minimum age to be admitted), and get to know each other, possibly starting to date. (Note: I already have a character in mind for this one, and I've thought of the male Chara as somewhat of a nerd, but maybe a cool one. Also, there could be attacks on the school, and fights between students, et cetera to add action, along with a possible romantic rivalry betwixt the guy and the girl's childhood friend who's also attending, unbenounced to the girl until a little later. She used to, and kind of still, has a crush on him, but likes the male lead also for different reasons.)
Name: Sam (Samantha) Reilly.
Gender: female.
Age: 19. (Or early-mid. 30's)
Height and weight: 5'6" and 122 lbs.
Appearance: (This girl fits the image in my head, but sans make-up, with shorter hair and less fancy jewelry.)
Image:

Dark brown wavy hair that doesn't quite touch her shoulders, lightly tanned skin, a few acne scars and freckles, light green eyes, doesn't wear make-up, but wears a few rings and necklaces once in a while, and an unidentifiable perfume all the time. Dresses in jeans and skirts, blouses and tank tops, tennis shoes, heels, and sometimes a pair of soft brown leather combat boots. She uses a leather messenger bag covered with comical buttons as a backpack.
Personality: She loves being around people, but hates being the center of attention. She doesn't really like other girls because she doesn't share many of their interests.
Likes: Video games, swimming, reading (books and manga), chess, fire, guys.
Dislikes: Other girls, rain, cold temps., arrogance, texting.
Backstory: (keep it short to allow for future discovery) Her parents are some of the few who know their child has these powers and what the school is. She was going to come with a female friend, but her parents freaked out when they found out and wouldn't let her attend, so my girl is here alone. It's her first time living by herself, and she's nervous and excited. She knows little about the science that will help her use her powers, and that's what she's most excited to learn. She hates math and phys-ed.

WESTERN!
—(Note: Since this is a historical RP, it would be great if you knew somewhat about the Old West — at least as much as you can learn from watching Westerns and playing Red Dead Redemption. What was invented then, some old diction, etc.)
— A cattle farmer on a peaceful ranch in Texas finds a woman wounded on the prairie. He brings her home and takes care of her, only to find out she is the girlfriend of a notorious outlaw who’s roaming the area looking for her. (I would play the female and already have a character in mind for this one.)

Appearance:

(This is the actress Gene Tierney.)
Ethnicity-- Scottish (undecided if she has an accent or not).
Skin Tone-- Fair, but tanned.
Physique-- Thin, light musculature that's hard to see outwardly, but lends her slight strength.
Hair-- Dark mahogany, wavy.
Eyes-- Deep blue, like blue ink.
Prominent Facial Features-- Small nose and mouth.
Piercings, Tattoos, and Marks-- Long scars on her back.
Personality:
—Positive Traits-- Adaptable, Daring, Dignified, Disciplined, Gentle, Good-natured, Hardworking, Honest, Intelligent, Intuitive, Uncomplaining, Upright.
—Neutral Traits-- Conservative, Determined, Emotional, Formal, Maternal, Moralistic, Outspoken, Religious, Reserved, Tough.
—Negative Traits-- Assertive, Blunt, Cautious, Desperate, Hesitant, Intolerant, Opinionated, Prim, Suspicious, Tense, Vulnerable, Weak, Willful.
—General-- Before the last few years, very open, bold, caring, and joyful. Since the last few years, reserved, argumentative, difficult, depressed, and lonely.
Preferences:
—Likes-- Her children, open prairie, warm fires, fireflies, the sounds of children playing, hymns, the King James version Bible.
—Dislikes-- The heat of the day, sin, Mexicans, sudden loud noises and gunfire, being startled, being held still where she can't move, spurs, the illness of others .
Dreams: To get her children back from her evil bandito husband, and escape to a safe place for them. And to kill her husband.
Greatest Fear: The death of her two living children before she can rescue them.
Occupation: Housewife.
Background: Her father was a ferrier and blacksmith in southern Arkansas, her mother a seamstress. She grew up with everything she needed, spent every sunday in church, nights in her home listening to her father read the scriptures, and had four siblings along with many friends as a child.
Just after turning 17, she met her future husband — a large, 20 year-old Irishman, also a blacksmith by trade, with a sweet nature and a lack of the fondness for drink often associated with his heritage. They were married the next year, and had two daughters, with a son in-between, over the next four years.
Current Situation: Durring those four years, a group of banditos had begun encroaching on the territory, robbing trains, terrorizing towns, and generally taking anything they wanted — including women. Their leader, Ramon Bacilio, was a fifty year-old veteran of The Reform War in Mexico (1857-60), who had complete control of his men via fear and violent punishments doled out immediately upon trespass.
He also had a penchant for beautiful women, having multiple wives by the time he stole Catherine from her husband's arms — and killing him and their children in front of her so she'd know she had nothing to come back to.
For the last six years, she's been living in a large ranch house with her two sons and a few servants — and guards to keep her rom running away. Her husband comes to visit her every month or so, and durring this time, most of the guards leave to give their boss and his wife some privacy.
She's been secretly stashing money away for her and her children's escape, burying it in burlap sacks in the gardens.
One day, a guard catches her trying to bury more gold. When his boss returns, the guard tells him, and Ramon punishes her himself via lashes. He's so angry that day that she decides to leave as soon as possible with her young boys, even if she has to leave the undiscovered gold buried. He'll kill her the next time she upsets him, and that wasn't a challenge. He'd been extremely suspicious of her every movement since that day, even going as far as to restrict her access to their children, usually only letting her take them outside when he was there, and not letting her near them at night.
Then one morning, the children are missing from their beds, and her husband is waiting for her in their room — with a knife. He says he knows she's been planning to leave, and that he won't allow it.
He comes at her with the blade, but she barely managed to dodge, and slices him in the side with a small hidden kitchen knife of her own, and tears out of the room and then the house, grabbing a saddled horse a guard had left unattended.
She rode the horse for hours, until it couldn't run anymore, frothing at the mouth, abandoning it after unbuckling the saddle and began to run.
After another few hours, she came across a ranch, and purchased a cheap horse and saddle, starting the horse at a gallop, but slowing down to let it rest after a while.
(This section is a proposed way for her to end up injured in the rancher's field, but you might have much better ideas.)
After a cold night with inadequate clothing, she caught cold, and developed a fever.
Sometime early in the morning, her horse at a gallop and her consciousness barely hanging on, her mare stepped in a hole, throwing her off and into a large boulder used as a marker for the boundary between fields — though she had no idea she'd ridden into owned territory, thinking herself to still be in the wilderness.

— (Note: Okay, this turned out to be quite a bit more detailed then I'd intended when I began typing it.
But I think it's okay. Also, originally, I was trying not to make this into a romance story -- but that was because almost all of my stories feature romances. But in the case of making it into an RP, I'd be happy to include romance.
The story doesn't have to be like this exactly. We could collaborate on the idea to make it better suit an RP, or come up with something that doesn't require the OC's we could make to be so specific to fit into this exact story. There are more details and plot twists I didn't include because this text was long enough already.)
Here's the vague plot: A young (20s-30) roaming small personal spacecraft mechanic fixes a young woman's ship in the mechanic bay of his larger ship (previously a mid-size cargo vessel) while he's docked at a space port on a deep space asteroid (he rents the docks for a certain period of time, a week or two to a few months, periodically to pick up clients when business is slow). The woman is in a hurry, and leaves as soon as her broken navigation computer is replaced.
A few days later, a group of tough guys ask about a woman they're looking for and her current whereabouts -- who matches the description of the mechanic's last client -- but he tells them nothing. The next day, while he's off of his ship on an errand, his ship is ransacked, but no credits or expensive items are missing. He watches the surveillance footage and sees the men from the other day looking for something specific, probably a part, but they leave with nothing. He remembers he still has the girl's old navi-com, and he'd downloaded all of her coordinates into his work computer, so he knew where she'd been and where she was probably going. He wants to be rid of her navi-com, but even if he destroys it and the data from his work-com, the guys who came looking for it won't know that he doesn't have it and will probably be back. Plus, he feels a need to warn her that they're looking for her. He tries to video call her, but she won't answer. After waiting a few hours for her to call back while cleaning up the mess the men made, he pays his docking fee to the space port authorities, and heads off in the direction he thinks the woman was heading in based on her previous heading.
He finds her and forces her to land her ship in his mechanic bay using a tractor beam -- or maybe they just talk it out and she lands voluntarily. The mechanic tells her some men were looking for her, gives her the broken nav. back, and says sayonara. But before she can take off, the mechanic's ship is attacked by a group of 3-4 larger fighting cruisers, who demand he turn the woman over to them or be destroyed. The mechanic quickly asks why they want her so badly, so she shows him the baby in the artificial womb pod in her ship. She says it's a clone of her dead sister (cloning is illegal throughout the universe). Her sister volunteered to be cloned by a company working in an old scientific outpost. When the woman heard that her sister had died and they were going to kill her clone, she broke into the outpost lab and stole the baby (they were going to kill it, before they found out it was viable. Now they just want it back). She's going to take the baby to her home planet and raise her as her own daughter. Not a soul will know she's a clone, aside from the company, who claims the baby is their property, and set one of their trackers on her trail (this guy is a specialist at capturing "company assets" and he's a personal reason for getting this one back alive -- this baby is the first viable clone the company has produced, and they need to use her to make more clones. This guy is responsible if the baby is lost, but also has a dead wife he'd love to clone back into existence once the technique is ironed out. That won't be possible if he doesn't get this baby back, and he would also lose his job if he doesn't succeed).
The mechanic doesn't like the illegality of the cloned girl, but feels bad for the woman and agrees to get her to a safe place to take off from -- after they escape the attacking ships and lose their tail.
So they evade capture and death, and lose the trail for a bit. But they're found again, they lose them again, et cetera. At some point, he decides to help her get to her home planet safely. (There's a plot twist around this point, too.)

JAPANESE LOVE TRIANGLE!
— (Note: Forgive the chaos, please I wrote this as quickly as I could from memory to explain the concept to someone — and it's a story idea I intended to be a book.)
(Beware! My details are fuzzy because I have yet to dig out my writings of this story and the Chara, so you'll have to suffice with the current blurry picture from my memory. Apologies.)
(I'm not sure this story — that I meant to be a book — will work as an RP as it stands. And it might be necessary for you to create your own character, if you want to, which might also change the story — though your Chara could take the name of, possibly, the character of mine that's most like the one you make. This story is pretty detailed, or at least the characters I wrote for it are pretty set, so like I said, the story might have to change based on the Chara you create if you decide that's what you want.)
(There's a second version with a terribly sad ending. I don't really like this version because it's such a dramatic and depressing departure from my original idea, and I think the story would end soon after one of the characters dies. And as an RP, I'm not sure how to end it. In this version, somewhere into the trip, while they're visiting a city, there's a large earthquake, all of them end up separated into 2 hospitals -- Hisa and Kirito in one, Casey in the other. Hisa only has a broken arm; Kirito is badly hurt, maybe with some unknown internal injuries; Casey is outwardly the most injured, but one of his lungs was punctured. They didn't come to the hospital together, so Hisa has trouble finding Kirito at first. Then she had to call around to find out where Casey was -- they were shopping separately when the earthquake struck. Hisa wants to be with both of them, but since she knows Kirito's parents can be with him, but Casey will be alone, she goes to be with Casey.
One of the guys dies while she's with the other. I want to see which one you think it should be for story purposes, so I won't say anymore.)

General Concept:
Hisa Seimu (? Forgot the last name I gave her) a teenage girl from Nara, (blank prefecture), Japan, having just graduated from high school, wants to go on a roaming tour of Japan with her two best friends over the summer. This has a few purposes: She gets to spend one more summer with her friends before Kirito Inoue (friend since childhood) goes off to college in Tokyo the next year; if Hisa can get them to spend enough time together, she hopes Kirito and Casey (I keep thinking his last name is Jones, but that's the name of the T.M.N.T. Chara, and it's too common) ( American friend she met a year before graduation) will finally become friends (they dislike each other at the moment/ they're rivals); and lastly, she needs to choose between the two of them (Kirito and Casey both love her, she feels a duty toward Kirito but doesn't love him. She's in love with Casey, but is mad at herself for it because of Kirito). Anyway, they would travel all over Japan, visiting landmarks and more off the wall attractions. This one has a fairly happy ending (I think Hisa would choose Casey, Kirito would go off to college, and by the time he gets back, he's made his peace with Hisa and Casey's relationship, and Hisa's dreams come true because her two best friends are friends).(There's a second version with a terribly sad ending. Details:
(I'm ad-libbing a lot of this because I never sorted most of this stuff out.)
Then, when Hisa was 12, her parents were killed by a drunk driver in a car accident. Since she had no extended family, Kirito's parents adopted her and raised her like their daughter. (I was thinking it would be better if this were changed to Kirito's parents becoming her legal guardians, so the awkward situation of she and Kirito now being adopted siblings wouldn't be an annoyance.) She clings to Kirito heavily for comfort and support and he's right there, all the time -- his parents too. She's so grateful for his friendship durring that period after her parent's deaths that she becomes really devoted to Kirito, to the point that after he falls in love with her at age 14 or so, and even thought she doesn't love him that way, she's pretty sure she'll marry him some day. He's such a good friend and person in her eyes that she feels a duty to him, in a sense.
When they're 16-17 (last year of high school. I'm was homeschooled, so I don't know small details like what exact age teens tend to graduate, or when exactly the school year starts and ends. Perdoname), Hisa meets Casey. (I'm pretty sure I decided his parents are dead also, and his sharing of this fact soon after meeting her and learning of her parent's deaths gives them something deep in common, which helps them become such fast friends.) They're best friends in 6 months, and Hisa cares about him nearly as much as Kirito, but minus the duty factor. Their relationship is different. Plus, a month or so before they graduate, Hisa realizes shes in love with Casey. She's really mad at herself about this, because of her self-adherence to her duty to Kirito. She wishes she could just fall for Kirito and can't understand why she didn't. She even gets kind of mad at Casey about it, though it's really only directed at herself. She thinks it unfair and hates that it's out of her control. (This reminds me of the anime/manga Chara Ayu in "Honey and Clover." She's in love with a guy who loves someone else and she hates it. Wishes she could just choose not to love him, and the fact that she can't brings her a lot of crying-level frustration, especially when she meets a better guy and still doesn't get over the first guy by the end of the anime -- though she seems on the path, which I was happy about. I had a terrible beef with the rest of the ending.)
Durring high school, Hisa has been helping Kirito and his parents run their small stationary shop (it mostly caters to tourists, but also supplies the locals and their businesses). She actually meets Casey while she's working, before he starts attending her school. Kirito instantly doesn't like him, and vice versa, though Casey doesn't really care as much what Kirito does.
General Personality: Hisa is kind, servile, demure, chipper, unselfish, a go-getter, loyal to people who've earned it (to steal your phrasing), and easy to please.
He tried baseball for 2 seasons before quitting, deciding it wasn't what he wanted to spend his time doing (he was really good. His teammates were really sorry to see him go). He doesn't really have any friends beside Hisa (Casey is not his friend in his mind. Still, he doesn't hate the guy. It more of a rivals thing), and when he's not with her or working at the store, he's usually drawing with some lo-fi playing through headphones. (Hisa's often able to startle him in this position, to her amusement and his embarrassed annoyance. He locks her out of his room for days afterwords -- their rooms are at a 90° angle from each other at the end of a hallway. For a while after Hisa's parents passed away, she'd ask Kirito to come sleep beside her bed on the floor for the nightmares she was having then. Since then, he doesn't go into her room unless he's invited. She goes into his room all the time and he's fine with it).
General Personality: Intelligent, skilled at most things, perceptive, empathetic, healthy, selfish and unselfish (people can be both in different ways), not great with people (ex.: working in his parent's shop, dealing with customers. Hisa is good at this, and he's grateful for that), artful, confident, content with his place in life (aside from the idea of working at the shop. He wants to be an architect, like Hisa's father was).
She died on a Sunday. Casey was only 16. After the funeral and the will were taken care of, Casey decided to go on a trip to Japan (he inherited everything his parents owned with no restrictions), and maybe stay there for a while. Finish school there, and see how he felt about things after that. He'd always loved all things Japan, and despite his father's constant travels, Casey hadn't been many places. He went to Tokyo first, then made his way to Kyoto, and then to Nara (with smaller towns in between). He ended up walking into Kirito's parent's stationary shop (he didn't know that's what it was because the signage wasn't very visible. He learned Japanese when he was 12 and perfected his speaking and reading of it. He has almost no American accent. This annoys Kirito) and met Hisa. So he decided to attend high school in Nara.
General Personality: Chill, confident, humble, philosophical, poetic, slightly rebellious, methodical, athletic, still smokes cigarettes, but quit marijuana.
(I never thought of specific hobbies for him. I'm going to stop here with his character because that's about what I have on him anyway.)

Hisa Seimu:
Hisa Seimu was born in Nara, Japan (Jan. 14th) to her middle-income (or upper-middle?) parents (father is an architect, mother an interior designer). They lived in a small wooden house built before the first world war on a verdent hill. As she grew up, her mother had her classically trained in traditional Japanese arts (flower arrangement, tea ceremony, calligraphy, et cetera) and she taught herself to paint. Her parents were close friends with the family living next door, who had a son Hisa's age (Kirito Inoue), and they were already good friends by the age of 5. They spent most all of their free time together, drawing, reading manga (Kirito used to read the stories out loud with animated voice, changing it for the different characters), going down to the deer park to feed the bowing deer (that never gets old), running around in the woods behind their homes. Then, when Hisa was 12, her parents were killed by a drunk driver in a car accident. Since she had no extended family, Kirito's parents adopted her and raised her like their daughter. Kirito Inoue:
Kirito Inoue was born two months after Hisa (Mar. 27th). He was always smarter then other kids, but his excellence showed most in his drawings (he's not perfect, but his works in pencil are exquisite. He drew Hisa a lot, especially after falling for her, though he keeps those particular drawing out of her sight -- they're not dirty. Well, most of them. Those ones are kept even more well hidden). He did well in school, but elementary was a little boring so he acted out some, and a bit in middle school. He straightened by the beginning of junior high. He's a pretty handsome guy and tall, so the girls at his high school started a fan club for him (apparently this is done in Japan. Pretty sure). (This wasn't the original case, but I think he should have gone to a higher level high school than Hisa and Casey. Then he would have even less understanding of why Hisa and Casey are so close). He never dated anyone, though he was very polite in his refusals. Casey Verlice:
Casey Verlice was born in Colorado to wealthy parents (father was a real estate developer, mother was an actuary). He grew up in a modest mansion (his parents were practical, decent people). His mother worked from home mostly, so he saw her often enough. His father was often on long business trips, but tried to be at home with his son as often as possible. Though he got some attention, it wasn't enough, and in junior high, he started leaving suddenly without telling anyone where he was going, and staying at hotels for a few days before returning. He also started smoking marijuana and cigarettes, and took adderol a few times. His father was stabbed durring a mugging while in Germany and died when Casey was 13. The next year, his mother was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Before her death 2 years later, she rewrote her will to automatically bring into effect, upon her death, the signed emancipated minor paperwork she'd prepared. They didn't get along with extended family and she hated the idea of Casey going into foster care. She also thought this was what Casey would want. When she asked him he agreed, though he wouldn't talk about her death enough to discuss details. She died on a Sunday. Casey was only 16. After the funeral and the will were taken care of, Casey decided to go on a trip to Japan (he inherited everything his parents owned with no restrictions), and maybe stay there for a while. There are just a few ideas! Let me know if you're interested via the DMs or here!
GENERAL RULES.
Here's my 1x1 Rules/Guidelines list:
1. — Communication is very important to me. If you or I have a problem with the rp, we need to talk about it. It can only make both of our experiences (and the story) better, so don't hesitate to speak up, and I won't either.
2. — Also, I'm sorry, but I don't tolerate ghosting. If we set a posting schedule and you can't follow it for any reason, just let me know, and I'll do the same for you. However, if you consistently ignore me, or continuously don't post within a reasonable amount of time based on the parameters we set, with no explanation, I'm very likely to want to end the RP entirely, and I won't blame you if you do the same.
3. — Only 21+ will be excepted, and preferably people from 25-39. I'm a 30 y.o. female, so I'm hoping for guys around my age as partners in romantic RP's.
Mature content is allowed (such as language and violence) except for: Torture, domestic violence, etc. (I'll mention anything else if it comes up).
3. — Only MxF romances. I'll always play the female, and I'm looking for guys to play the male half.
4. — (This is just a guideline, but...) Unless specified in the RP description, No: demons, magic, or ghosts.
5. — No controlling my character, except some durring fight scenes, or if you know 100% how my character would react (which I think unlikely).
6. — No A.I. writing. If I suspect you're using A.I in your posts, I'll ask you about it, and depending on your answer and your subsequent posts, I'll likely want to end our RP.
7. — A.I. art, however, is fine. Just make sure the character image you use doesn't have six fingers or three eyes, lol.
Posting Timeframe:
1. — I can almost always post once a day, and sometimes more. It would be great if my partner could match me, but I understand that most people don't have that kind of time. However, I would still like to come up with some kind of schedule, so I'll have an idea of how often I can expect you to post.
2. — I live in the Central U.S. timezone (CST), and I'm usually most active from 3am-5am Tue., Thur., Sat., and Sun. (though sometimes also on the days in-between) and sometimes in the afternoon from maybe 8pm-12am. I don't expect anyone to keep my hours, though. I check all of the RP's I'm playing periodically durring the day, and I post when I get enough time.
Writing Style:
1. — I'm semi-literate, and I generally like one to a few short-to-medium paragraphs, except for when the characters are conversing, in which case I like real-time type short-ish posts -- one or two questions followed by answers, etc. — I think it leads to more realistic and flowing dialogue.
2. — And please don't write in multiple pieces of dialogue or actions your character is taking, all of which my character has to either respond to or I have to choose to ignore. I don't mind two sections of dialogue to answer, but more than that, or more than one or two actions that involve my character causes annoying problems. I'm also okay with lazy lit, as long as posts are a bit more than 1-liners.
3. — I enjoy collaboration on the story, the characters, everything really. I'm not a control freak, and have no problem letting my partner take the lead with the story as long as the groundwork for the main idea is set out (at least vaguely, with edits by me if something comes up that doesn't fit) and followed somewhat, especially if we're using their idea. I also love asking people to throw out their own ideas, which if I like them, I'd gladly agree to use and let them lead.
