Help Receiving app alerts for content unrelated to my account

I've downloaded the app, but I'm getting alerts through my phone that I've been quoted or someone has posted in a thread I'm watching. However, two things - one, I haven't received these alerts on my computer, and two, neither of these things has actually happened. I'm watching no posts other than threads I've posted in the past and I haven't been quoted.

Is anyone else encountering this issue? And is there anyways to stop it?

The app can get very weird. We are working on both fixes and alternatives.
