Igneel bashura

On board Haas Delgado's starship.

as the captain slept in the vitolight sheild coming off of saint his fractured mind began to repair itself. He hadn't slept in six days, and it was obviously having its effects. But it was more than that, his neurons were firing signals through his brain at high enough rates that his own brain was producing a small EM field. When he finally was able to organize the vision he found what it was he was waiting for...

The first planets he saw falling happened billions of years ago, the more recent ones were still over a million year prior to the modern day. But the black vessel heading to the milky way... That was very recent, as in three days ago recent. Once he was on the ship again he decided to see what he could find out. He went to its consol in an attempt to decipher the language and was shocked to find that he understood some of it. Not much however, it was the same language that was found in the Martian and lunar surfaces. He was able to decipher the ships name and some of its mission directive however. Tyranex was its name. Vast Energy ********, ******* on target, ********** 100,000,000,000 life forms, Extermination protocols *******.

He finally relaxed into his sleep, at least he knew the when and the where, somewhat. What he didn't understand was the who, why, and what. There would be time for that later however, for now he needed to let saint bring him back to tip top shape. Then he would gather the fury, and put an end to this civil war. Something deep down told him that even if he managed to do all of this, they would likely still not stand a chance. However Igneel was known for being stubborn, and this would be no exception. Finally a look of peace washed over him, his brain waves lowered to normal levels, for him at least...

John walks to the door, standing just outside. "Hey guys. What are you? Gralor? Neat, neat neat. Immune to knock-out gas."

The Brood soldiers barked something at John, he didn't hear. He wasn't paying attention. He was reaching for the fire extinguisher on the opposite wall. When it was in reach, he threw it through the open door, above the heads of the soldiers. He lined up a shot and fired with his pistol. It exploded violently in white vapor and thrown metal debris. The ship was deactivated, so John would have to find another way out. He runs out into the cargo hold of the Brood mothership and stops.

A massive room, full to bursting with combat ships. Hundreds and hundreds of aliens with heavy weaponry. It reminded John of Drax. Drax scared him too. Roughly thirty of the Brood were running right for him.

"Now you see me," he reached for his cloaking device, "Now you don't." And then, he vanished.

Captain George Littlefield of the 3rd Combat Battalion Team

Sirius (Terran Cruiser)

qr_space_cruiser_by_talros-d6sxpdb.jpg

Current Location: Sirius (Terran Cruiser)

Only a few hours ago, the 3rd Battalion Combat Team aboard the Terran cruiser Sirius was sent to the asteroid belt to search for a hidden Coalition base. Apparently those secret police freaks back in the colonies beat the shit out of some dissident after suspecting him of doing crazy shit. This bozo was flying off into restricted parts of the solar system. So what's restricted? Where can't you fly your ship? Anywhere the Empire can't keep an eye on you. Space ain't for free, chumps, and this ain't the final frontier anymore. You've gotta stake your claim first before the Empire recognizes your rights. Pull any stunts like this random asshole and you'll not only land your ass in jail but there's an off-chance that you'd get unpersoned by the Ghostapo, the Empire's secret police.

Well, it isn't so secret. Everybody actually knows about the Ghostapo, but try speaking about them in public and you disappear after a few days. Poof. Just like that. Guess those Ghostapo guys really like to pretend that they're secret even if they're not. Whatever. Afterwards, those Ghostapo boys patched an order to the Terran Armed Forces to go poking through the asteroid belt to do what they're doing now. They were hunting some Coalition scumbags, achieving victory for the Empire, bringing glory back home and striking fear into the hearts of your enemies. It was the usual stuff.

When the cruiser reached the designated area carrying the 3rd Combat Battalion Team there was no Coalition base in sight. Nothing. Job done. Time to tell those Ghostapo wackos to stop wasting the military's time. Now, everyone would have called it a day, but Commander Nowlan wanted a thorough sweep on the area. The enemy could be hiding anywhere and they may be employing countermeasures that would make it hard for us to detect them. Nobody knew what those countermeasures were but people just had to keep checking.

An hour later it turned out that there was no countermeasures employed at all. The Coalition base could be spotted in one of the ship's deep space radars but the operator didn't notice it. It was this boy's first day on the job and he wasn't good at it. The Commander and his staff spent one good hour yelling at the operator, hoping to talk some sense into that guy with some good old-fashioned tough talk. All of them wondered who the hell put this idiot up here. If they were in battle and they couldn't see the enemy the lives of everyone in this ship could be jeopardized because of his incompetence. They had a point, but now instead of wasting one hour finding the Coalition bastards they wasted two hours instead if one hour was not bad enough.

The Commander was still scolding the young operator at this point, and the poor kid looked like he was about to cry.

The operator was told to shape up or get shipped out of the airlock. It was legal to use this punishment for incompetent officers, the Commander went on to say that Empire did not need problems, they needed problem solvers. Was the operator going to be a problem or will he fix their problems?  And think about what would happen to his family if he was to be killed in such a disgraceful way. They would be humiliated by the Empire and its subjects. His family will be ashamed of ever existing, the people at work and at school would throw rocks at his family if not outright slaughter them for shaming the Empire. Not only that, he would forever be remembered as a useless deep space radar operator.

Whether this was true or not was not important, the Commander had already broken the operator's spirit. The Commander finally gave the operator a final warning, if he makes another mistake like this again he will be sent to a fate worse than death. As the Commander was finished dealing with the operator, Captain George came to speak up.

"Commander, let's just get this over with." said Captain George who looked like he was pleading to the Commander, "Just look at the kid, he's had enough. He'll learn how to handle the radar well eventually. It's all right for people to screw up on their first day."

"Look, I'm not eager to get blown up in space on our first day." said Commander Nowlan who was still stubbornly holding to his argument, "This ship costs millions of credits and we've got hundreds of souls aboard this ship. I'm not risking all of this for a single idiot."

Captain George frowned. Nowlan had a point but he should consider the feelings of his officers. He had gone too far this time, threatening his subordinate with certain death. That was not the proper way to motivate people. Men and women are capable of reaching their full potential if given the right incentive. This was so typical of Nowlan, he tends to apply more force than what is considered necessary. It gave people the impression that he was an insensitive jackass. Nowlan was also arrogant. So people thought he was looking down at them as if they were less than human. These made Nowlan hate others and other people hating him. And he continued to spread this hatred until the patience of others grew short. Nowlan would get into fights with others, and sometimes he would challenge them to duels to the death.

A dozen men were killed in these engagements and this led everyone to hate and fear him even more. Nobody understood him except Captain George, the century-old soldier who had seen it all. George knew that deep down inside, Nowlan was still a child that needed guidance. And so George tried his best to guide Nowlan through his trials and tribulations. This seemed like the right thing to do, to help Nowlan accept himself and to teach him to be a decent human being that knows how to deal with people. But this turned out to be more difficult than George thought for Nowlan was a notorious hardass.

"Still, try not to be so hard on everyone. Remember that we're all human here and if we're pushed to hard we'll reach our breaking point. Try getting on their good side and giving them praise every once in a while, Nowlan." said Captain George.

Commander Nowlan sighed and then started rubbing his eye. "I may be hard on my men, Captain, but I am just trying to make them better men."

Captain George gave Nowlan a smile. "Sometimes, the only thing you need to change a man is with a kind word."

For a brief moment, Nowlan paused. He allowed himself to contemplate George's advice. The man had always been like a father to him, someone who would help him when the times got tough and celebrated the good times with him. When he was in trouble, George was always there to give him a helping hand. When he was angry, George was there to calm him down. When he was lost, George was there to guide him back to the right path. When he was broken, George was there to fix him. When everything in the world was dead in his eyes, George was the one who gave color back to his life.

"Well..." Nowlan began, "I guess I'll try to give them all the kindness they need then."

Captain George nodded his head, "That's a good start."

"For now let's focus on that Coalition base. We've overstayed our welcome here anyway. The sooner we get this done the sooner we can get back home." Commander Nowlan turned to the rest of the ship's officers, "Ensign, get us closer to the base. We're prepared to face them now."

"Yes, sir." said the officer and the ship lurched forward towards an asteroid.

"Ah, we're close now. Someone turn on the viewscreen so we can see them." And so a picture of the Coalition base was shown.

Hoss noticed the FOB ship tractor beaming one of their own ships into the hangar and decided that was the opportunity he was looking for. He idled his ship and stepped into the air lock, "Wolf? Get me in that hangar."

"Grab on sucka." Hoss grabbed onto wolfs chassis, purging the airlock and shooting them both into open space. Wolfs thrusters kicked on and carried Hoss to the FOB's airlock, "Nice work bud, time to say hello." Hoss magnetized his hand to the airlocks metal, using his onmi-tool to cut a hole through the airlock into the ship. Their was a pop and a hiss as the plasma torch began searing through the hull.

A moment later Hoss was inside, re-welding his entry point as to avoid any unnecessary alarms going off due to pressure change.

He looked around the room for a moment, allowing Wolf to re-enter The Den before decompressing the airlock and stepping into the hangar. He noticed the armed guards surrounding the Brood ship, ordering whoever was inside to get out.

Hoss took cover as best he could, trying to hide his massive chassis while he scanned the situation.

A drone flew into the hangar, just at John's eye level. It looked vaguely familiar, like something he had hacked before. It had a plasma caster on it. No matter how tough these guys were, I bet they didn't like plasma to the face. John snatched at it from behind, taking off a panel and hooking a wire from his wrist into the drone. He began hacking as quietly as possible to avoid attracting attention. He had uploaded the trojan, now it was time for a reset. The drone fell out of the air, just barely being caught by John and then surrounded by the cloaking field.

(two things mate 1. Wolf is not flying around, he is in the Den inside of haas's chassis. 2. There is ONE fury member who can see you while stealthed, and that's Haas Delgado, if you steal his drone...He will kill you.)

The chaos of the situation had sent the guards into a frenzy. A few began screaming something along the lines of "Alert the commander", others just started firing wildly. John had an excellent view of this as he grappled to a catwalk above. He reached into one of his pouches for what he lovingly referred to as "the big one". He dropped this parcel into the group and uncloaked. The big one proceeded to start beeping after hitting the ground, soon exploding in a giant flash of light, with a piercing blast of sound. John's helmet filtered all this out, but he was sure that nothing that didn't have robot eyes would be in pain for a very very long time.

General Lucius Martell

As the night skies swept over Mars or at least the capitol city, the stars came out shining and the soft breeze rustling the leaves just outside the manor that belonged to the governor, that lie a few miles outside the city. The sweet smell of flowers that had been planted all around the magnificent manor had filled the air travelling with the breeze. Looking up to the manor upon the balcony would be a man. Both elbows resting on the balcony as he looked out over the area in front of him. a pool to the left, a spa to the right and the open fields that led to the capital at the center. The cities buildings towered over the trees that lay just beyond the fields and the lights would shine brightly as the busy people hurried through the busy streets. Lucius, the man atop the balcony couldn't help but crack a smile. although his day job may be stressful the peaceful nights he spent at this manor were among the best he had in his entire life. Watching the sun set over the tops of the sky-scrapers each and every night, the smell of roses and daisies and all sorts of flowers travelling with the wind, it was all relaxing, peaceful. Of course his day job was nothing like this, Governing the entire planet of mars was a large task and doubling as one of the five Generals in all of the Terran Empire only added onto the loads of paperwork.

Manor.jpg

Not to mention the countless hours spent training, keeping in shape and the constant battle simulations he had to continuously keep up with put not only a mental strain but a physical strain on him as well. He didnt complain though, the scenery, the smells, the peaceful time at the manor were all worth it. He loved this place. He sighed in bliss as he closed his eyes to take in the scents of the many flowers and his smile grew wider.......

"Sir!" A voice called from within the manor and Lucius's smile faded

"Sir! Hello?" the voice was that of a man, a young man and Lucius stood up straight stretching

"Yes Astur what is it?" Lucius asked in a somewhat annoyed tone, Astur being his secretary, and messenger.

"Oh um." Astur walked onto the balcony "Urgent message from the Chief of Civil Protection." Astur held out a encrypted data-pad for Lucius to take

Lucius took the data-pad from the young mans hands and smiled "Thank you Astur, now go get some rest." Lucius said in a kind tone

Astur smiled and nodded "Yes sir, thank you sir." Then he scurried off into the manor then down the stairs and outside the manor and off to fulfill his own personal duties.

Lucius looked down at the data-pad and he thought for a moment before he sighed and muttered to himself "I guess it was important enough for him to encrypt it...." He then quickly got to decrypting the data-pad, this was a skill he had picked up when working with the Furies, watching some of the members perform things such as this interested him and so he made it a goal to learn, and so he did. Once he finished decrypting it he seen the message. "A murder? Why would they tell me about this?" He said to himself again as he continued reading his confused expression went to that of a concerned one. The victim was of high rank, the Secretary of state. The Terran Empires government on Mars was much like the United states Government from the days when Earth was still the only planet with Human inhabitants. The Governor was at the head of it all. Then came the fifteen secretaries. Each heading their own department, these were Lucius's personal advisers and were trusted members of society. This was a serious matter, the end of the message stated there would be personal Civil protection officers watching each secretary, for their own protection of course, as well as watching Lucius himself.

As Lucius finished reading he sighed and he moved off the balcony inside the manor. He then walked to the master bedroom, one of about 10 bedrooms. There were 9 guest rooms and one master bedroom in this manor. As he entered his room he set his pistol and sword down next to the bed as he always did and he took off his official clothing, which consisted of fashionable clothes mixed with body armor and a moderately protective suit, designed to provide a sense of authority but also to protect him against possible assassination attempts. Once this was off he headed to the bathroom to take a quick shower.

(I just want to let you know that both ships are I atmosphere and that he could have just snuck into the hangar XDD)

Just as he turned invisible Drax's hand grabbed him hard by the back of the neck and pushed him down hard to the ground. The only way drax knew he was there was because he had come up behind him before he had turned on the cloaker. "And who do we have here?" He growled viciously as he slowly lifted the clocked being up by the back of the neck and into the air so he wasn't touching the ground and grabbed his shoulder before turning him around and grabbing his neck once more. "Uncloak yourself before I decide to squeeze." He growled viciously as he stared at the cloaked being

John uncloaks. "You got me. Can I have parlay?" John, very luckily, did not wet his pants.

"And who do you think you are? Attacking my men and stealing one of my ships?" He asked with a viciously cold tone as he slowly squeezed a little to were it would be rather hard to breath but he still could

"Who, me?" John's voice cracks. "I'm nobody. Nobody with a lot of money. And-and ships!" John was more and more desperate to talk his way out of this situation. "I know the Furies! If you hurt me it'll instantly alert them and they'll come for you!"

Drax immediately growled coldly at the mention of fury and how this Weasley was trying to use the name to get out of being killed. Slowly Drax pulled him close holding him level with Drax as he got so close all the human could look at was Draxs burning eyes as he spoke slowly and with a cold viciousness unmatched by any other. "I. Am a fury." He said in a low growl

"...Drax?" John was, at first, relieved, then he remembered who Drax was and gulped. He reached for his helmet and took it off. "Drax, pal, it's me! Meatbag! Remember? The guy who you dangled from a cliff? And threw out of a spaceship?"

Drax let out a small sigh clearly disappointed at who it was and dropped him not caring if he caught him self or not. "Yes I remember you. Why the fuck do you steal my ship?" He growled

coldly as he geadtured for the men to go back to what they were doing

Hoss's eyes stopped scanning and locked on drax.

"Drax? And John? What the hell are they doing here?"

Hoss figured now was the time to reveal himself and stood, stepping into the light and calling out.

"Drax the destroyer? And John the meatbag? It's me! Hoss Delgato! Your ole hunter!" He wasn't too excited to see his old fury buddies, but figured at the very least this meant they could avoid bloodshed.

Hoss swapped his omnitool for his Argentum fist as he stepped forward slightly cautiously.

"Don't tell me you're the leader of this attack on Mars? Cause that'd mean I've either got to stop you.... or kill you. And I ain't keen on killin old friends, no matter how much they've changed."

Lisadoa closed the door behind her. She was finally back home in her apartment. Yes, it was small, but it met her needs, so size was not a priority. She kept her jacket out as she moved to the living room, flopping and laying down on the couch. She released a breath as she stared up at the ceiling, thinking about what to do. In her eyepiece, she watched the digital clock, watching the seconds go by.

1.....2.....3....4....

She quickly sat up and got off the couch. She moved to her bedroom, moving to a desk that was against the wall. It was completely bare, but Lisadoa seemed to ignore that fact. She pressed her hand against the surface of the desk and suddenly, it came to life. Holographic screens appeared all over as Lisadoa's personal computer was turned on. She took a seat in the chair as she opened up a game, blowing some time off.

"Why do they have to call me meatbag?" John mutters, grabbing for his throat. "Nice to see you, Hoss. I'm not a part of this whole... thing, So I'm just gonna grab a ship and go." John begins to stand up.

"Yea, yea, you're never a part of it are ya meatbag?" Hoss chuckled to himself, waiting for drax to either stand against him or stand aside for him.

This raid stops now.

Hoss's eyes stopped scanning and locked on drax.

"Why the fuck are both of you on my ship!" He growled in rage as the mission finished up and all the ships came back filled with loot and soilders. "Yes this is my operations. I am the leader of the broods." He said casually before he grabbed meat bags shoulder tightly. "You touch a ship I rip your guts out and wear them like a necklace." He said sternly as he deathglared the meatbag

(idk)

Hoss wasn't surprised by Drax's response.

"That's all well and good partner, but you and I are gonna go round for round unless you take all this shit back."

John fingers a cybernetic shutdown grenade. He won't survive it if Hoss and Drax duke it out, and he has better odds surviving if he knocks out Hoss by turning off his non-essential implants than if he were to take on the Brood. He remains silent, for now. @akumashioni

"I'd advice you to rethink this Hoss. You know it wont end end well for you." He said coldly before speaking more. "Your one fury, versus the titan of the furies and an army." He said in a growl. "Recognize when you won't win Hoss." He said as the supplies and weapons were being unloaded from the ships as the FOB started back up to the main ship. Turning back to john he growled again. "Remember john. I'm a gralor, Hoss is an android. That little grenade will do nothing against us. It will just nock your ass out." He said before once more turning to Hoss. "I'm not gonna fight you either way. But I can't say the same for the army I have at my disposal. None of this is going back to that base and I'm definitely not gonna listen to you. Your welcome to both tag along for a little bit but I forbid any violence on my ships. Despite the rumors of the brood the big ship we are going into is a home for many families that have lost everything to the war. I offered them a home and they agreed." He said to them as he geastured for them to follow

"Sounds good to me. You know what's funny? I had a talk with Lisa just five minutes ago and now I see another two of the Furies. What, that's four out of eleven in just one day? What are the odds?"

John begins walking in the direction Drax indicates, putting his helmet back on. "We should have a reunion."

Hoss smirked, knowing he was making the wrong decision, but what the hell?

"you're gonna fight me, trial by combat, here and now. I kick your ass? You return the supplies. You win? I hide my tail and crawl back to the Terran empire and tell em you gave ole Hoss a real lickin. You refuse? And I self destruct my core, blowing this whole motherfucking ship to space dust."

Drax knew he meant it too, Hoss was never one to make light on his word.

@Daniel reaving

(sorry bud, Hoss is allied with the Terrans and you raiding them means he has to stop you. If Drax truly cared about all the people on his ship, he wouldn't let Hoss self destruct.)

"Hoss, do I have to hack into your legs again? How about we do what the gralor says and talk this out some other time?"
