Futuristic Reach for the Stars CS

ok guys the story has begun. Be sure to check the lore so you know what world your in lol. All further chatecter are going be Non-Fury characters.

yes all of the furies are taken for now.

as for specialties that can be whatever, space pirates, the emperor, just a part of the Terran military.

(though keep in mind, the furies are legendary warriors, any non fury would be hard pressed to match their combat prowess, and any campaigns led against them are destined to fail, as they have plot armor.)

Well Im thinking of a Terran Soldier or runaway terran soldier xD, but would there be a specific division that would work with any furies? Such as TESF (Terran Empire Special Forces) or something of the sort

Yeah I was thinking like runaway SF member or something

Also Runaway as in, was in the military for a while, then the war started, stayed for a few years, seen how cruel the empire had become and then left

the furies were a branch if special forces yes... But they were the best by far. No one really worked with them because they're only mission besides cleaning up the mess left behind by the binarians, was the thirteen year campaign they ran against the deamon attack fleet.

You could be the Ex director of the fury program if you want... While he/she didn't participate in their missions he/she would've gotten most of the rewards by now they might even be governing a planet!!! Or even be a general at this point (that would give you command over up to 200,000,000 troops!!!)

@ThatOneLunatic

Hmmmm, sounds interesting, would he be a well trained fighter? xD Thats all I really need. A skilled fighter who can somehow fit into the plot xD The director sounds cool, is it cool if I say hes still young, like mid thirties?

@Jefferson

yes he'd be a skilled fighter... But no 30 is far to young. The two other officer chatecters we have are 90+ and 120+

you can go with the runaway special forces if you'd like I've got no quarrel there. (ten years ago is when fury disbanded, they ran for 15 years so if he was only thirty that would mean he was five at the time the group started...)

that would work but people don't look old anymore. The Oldest living man is 249yrs and he looks thirty. Humanity has mastered most of the ravages of age, but for some reason at 250 the brain simply shuts down. (give or take a few years its different for each person.)

that's up to you to decide my friend. If you do the director then he would have the ability to call orbital bombardments, and lead entire fleets to combat.

if you go with SF then they would have access to Argentum weapons and armor (The stuffs rare AF since it can only be made by destroying a planet with the Zeus cannon.) Argentum is the most energy resistant metal mankind has, a quarter inch plate can withstand a concentrated plasma beam for up to a ten seconds which is unheard of. The only thing that gets through it easily is ALOT of force, or antimatter.

so it depends on if you want personal power (SF) or Political power (director) though I must say we need at least one political figure. So id recommend the director, it would also allow you to know all of the furies instead of just having heard of them.

Yeah ill do the director. My question was more doesn he have any special capabilities? Or is he just a highly skilled fighter? Basically does he have abilities to match the furies or is he just skilled enough to give them a run for their money?

@Jefferson

(sorry for so many questions btw)

unfortunately not, no one can match the furies. That's kinda their whole point.

he could still be one of the best in the Terran military to date. But 1x1 with a fury is tantamount to suicide. It's one of the main reasons the Terran empire hasn't sought them out to reenlist, they simply don't have the capacity to stop them should they decide the Terran empire is wrong.

the director would likely be one of the main ones saying this.

and no problem with the questions I like when people ask questions, it helps me to develop parts of the world I may have neglected.

By no means was I suggesting he be able to beat them, only to contest them, give them a run for their money but ultimately lose. I would never try to change plot or make my character op xD Anyways ill get started with the CS

the plutonian coalition is very happy that they disbanded, they waited two years to make sure they would not get involved. They dont approach them because they fear that their ties are still with the terran empire

no worries mate. He could likely survive an encounter with them and likely even Achieve whatever goal he had set with proper planning. The greatest fear of both empires right now is the furies getting involved in this conflict and picking a side.

Well if the furies ask their old pal the Director he is likely to desert along with his armies of 200,000,000 troops and assist them xD

It was my plan from the start, seeing how corrupt the Empire has become and having to carry out despicable inhumane orders would drive anyone to desert the army, along with the soldiers under their command

@Jefferson

yep. Add in the fact that most of the soldiers would view the furies as celebrity heroes and would be fiercely loyal to the director and you have a recipe for an imperial collapse.

Alright I'll get to making the CS, although Im gonna have to find a way to IC get me some of that special armor and weapons xD Also, the director would now be a General or what?

@Jefferson

pick a planet

Mars, Venus, or mercury. There are five generals for the Terran empire. Earth and the asteroid belt are off limits because I have plans for them. The Terran military doesn't have branches like the modern military. They are one large unit with a wide range of specialists
