Eloise
the shy one
Eloise's breath started to quicken as they pulled closer to the dorm hall. Her eyes were wide as she looked out at the suddenly tall building. Oh great, there were so many people. Had the car always been this cramped? She gripped onto the seat belt tightly. She should just do online school, she'd still get everyting done, she's smart, she doesn't need to be in person, she can do the labs online too. Her dad looked back at her and her sibling, Nex, "Alright kiddos, ready for-Elosie," he said shocked, noticing her wide eyes and tight grip. He sent her a warm smile, "Calm down hun, there's nothing to be worried for. You're going to do great here!!" Eloise forced a smile as Ciet turned and looked at her concerned also. Ky unbuckled, probably to try and come console her, but she very quickly unbluckled herself and frantically grabbed his arm, "Don't! Don't, it's fine. I'm fine," she said, more to herself. The thought of people seeing her on the verge of a panic attack and needing to be comforted by her parents made her anxiety worsen 10 fold. "We'll just, be going now."
She gave her parents quick hugs and got out of the car. This was not the first day that she was expecting it to be. She gripped onto her dufflebag straps as her and Nex walked towards the the table. "Hello! I'm Jodie! I'll be your residence hall director, what are your names?" she said with a kind smile. Eloise glanced over at Nex, resisting the urge to shift to be behind them more. "Nex and Eloise Marvale-Wu," Nex told the woman. She nodded and handed them a tie bag, a folder, and a small envelope with a key inside. "Your rooms will be listed in the folder, along with some other important papers. We'll be meeting out here at 11 sharp, see you then!" Eloise only gave a small, tight smile as she walked towards the hall with Nex.
As she was glancing at her folder, she almost dropped her key, causing her to stumble slightly as she gathered her bearings again, "What room are you....in," she trailed off, seeing Nex was already walking through the doors. She sighed and made her way up to room 2D. She was glad that she only had a double. A part of her had been worried that her parents would somehow change it, but hopefully her roomate was incredibly nice. Hopefully she'd see Nex later, but for now, she just wanted to calm herself down and make one side of her room to her liking. I mean, how bad will the rest of the day be?....right??

Lana
the stubborn one
Lana pushed at her brother, 'gently' waking him up. She had been nice enough to let him sleep on her, but he started snoring, plus they were pulling up to the front of their dorm anyway. Callum barely woke up, looking a little confused, but still laying into her. Now, Lana loves her brother, and she also loves cuddling with him, however, she loves to bother him at the same time. Their mom looked back towards them both, again telling Callum that it's time to wake up, but sees Lana smiling and her hair raising with electricity. "Lana-" she warns, but it's too late, Lana touches her brothers ear, causing Callum to yelp and wake up with a jolt, literally. He glares at Lana and rubs at his ear, "Jerk." "Ass." "Lana! No swearing in the car," their dad warns. Callum sticks his tongue out at Lana, causing her to roll her eyes. From her seat, she could see the small smirk of both of her parents, causing her own smirk to appear. The family was soon parked, letting the twins out of the car.
They both hugged their parents tightly, both sneaking glances at the timer on their wrists. "Lana, please be careful when you're out partying," her mom asked. She jokingly shrugged, as if she didn't plan on being careful, and before her mom could voice her concerns Callum stepped in, "She will be," he said and gave her a look. Lana just grabbed her bags and ignored him as she went to greet the person that was sitting at the front. "Hey! It's great to meet you! My name is Jodie, I'll be your residence hall director. What are your names?" she asked. Lana smiled politely, "Lana and Callum Warner," she said and gestured to her twin, who quickly showed up behind her. They both got their keys and a little bag filled with all of the things they needed to know, "We'll all be meeting down here at 11 o'clock sharp, make sure you're here!" Jodie sang. Lana gave her a thumbs up before waving at her parents and looking at her room number. "I'm 2G, what are you?" Callum unfolded his paper and looked down at it, "Oh, nice! I'm 2H," he said and smiled towards her. Lana instantly frowned, "You're next to me?! That's such bullshit! Ugh!" she said, a little dramatically as they walked in and went up the stairs.
They get up to their floor, and Lana is happy to see that Callum's room is across from hers instead, not directly beside hers. "That's great, now I can sneak my soulmate into my room with out you listening through the walls," she jokes and hip bumped her brother. Callum rolled his eyes, "Yea, like I won't be peaking through the door every once and a while," he half joked, Lana knew it was true. She rolled her eyes and went into her room.
She claimed one of the beds with a window near it, she liked being able to look outside. She started unpacking and waiting for her roommates to arrive.

Callum had barely woken up, looking a little confused, as his sister shook him awake. Still really tired from their long drive, he decided to stay laying into her. Callum snickered and went into his room. He chose the bed that was closest to the door, wanting to be able to quickly go to Lana if he ever needed to, and started to slowly unpack his things.

Akira
the loud one
Akira was practically bouncing in her seat as their car pulled into a stop in front of her soon to be new home. She let out an excited, but quieter, yell as she quickly unbuckled and threw the door open. "Oh my god we're actually here!!" she giggled excitedly. She had barely been able to sit still and stay quiet the entire ride here, only stopped when her youngest brother-Austin-had grown tired and falling asleep. Even then, she had been nonstop texting Jay about her excitement. If there was death by spamming messages, Jay would've been dead hours ago. She helped her brother out, giving him a tight squeeze as he looked around excited at all of the new things. "You're sure you have everything?" her mother asked her worriedly. Akira laughed and kissed her cheek, "Yes mom, you went through my bags like 6 times before we had left. I have my pc, I have my school bag, I have my clothes, I have my decorations, I have my clothes we wore during the roadtrip, I have everything, I swear!" "Aki! Your charger!" Austin bounded up towards his sister with smile as he handed her the charging cord. Akira let out a sheepish smile as her mother had a mixed look of worried and slightly irked. "Now I have everything!!" she tried to joke, letting out an awkward laugh. She hugged her mom tightly and then hugged Austin again before waiting for the Alvarez family to finish talking with Jay to say goodbye to them also. The roadtrip had been a blast, and while she wished it could last for forever, she was also incredibly excited to start college. Would her and Jay's room be close?? Would they annoy their roommates?? She glanced down at the broken timer and let out a small sigh, this would all be so much easier if it wasn't broken. She could only hope she'd hear or feel the timer go off whenever her soulmate came around. Maybe then Jay wouldn't take up all of her thoughts.

Seth
the angry one
The man sighed as he got out of the car, it had been a long drive to Ravenwood, but he was a little excited to start up college again. Cordelia still made a big deal about his 'first day of college', but he figured that she did it on purpose now. He grabbed his two duffle bags and put them on top of his suitcase, leaning them against the handle as he put his packpack over his shoulders. By now, he knew what he needed and didn't, and would just go buy something if he needed or wanted it for his room. Which is what he was going to do this weekend for decorations, besides a few pictures he had brought. He stood in line, passing a...really big family before meeting the person at the desk, "Hi I'm Jodie! I'll be your hall director, name?" "Seth Burns," he told her, she was really cheery. How? He couldn't stand being like that for hours with all of these people. And she probably had to say the exact same thing over and over. "Alright Seth, here are your things, your room number will be in the folder. We'll be meeting out here at 11," she informed him. He only nodded and nodded in thanks as he walked into the hall. He should just start getting his own apartment near here, but he also enjoyed dorm rooms...most times. First floor, that's nice. He went to room 1G, staying away from others on the way. He walked into his room and noticed he was the first one there, sweet, bed of his choice. He chose the one furthest from the toilet, as you never know with boys, and glanced at the timer on his wrist. He'd be lying if he said that he wasn't nervous. 160 years and his timer is finally less than an hour. Holy fucking shit, in less than an hour he'd be meeting his soulmate. He was definitely freaking out now.

August
the kind one
August smiled as he hugged his mom, even thought it was his fourth year, she still worried over him, "Look after Damien dear, Niqui is a little nevous about him." He smiled again and kissed her head, "Don't worry mom, I will." He thanked her as he was handed the bag of cookies and went to hug his father. "I'll tell you all about the new things I learn in my labs this year. Hopefully we can use them for the sanctuary." He was picked up and hugged. August smiled bright and hugged his father back before being put back down. He went towards the Grave parents, as much as a part of him didn't want to. He was still embarassed about...everything. Niqui was busy with Damien, so he walked up to Atlas, who smiled and pulled him towards the side a bit. "Now I know you're probably still embarassed, but I need to be Graces father and tell you that you still need to use protection." August's mouth fell open as his pale face lit up in red. He tried to speak, but was unable to form any words. He hadn't thought about that!! Especially not in a college dorm!!!! Atlas started laughing and pulled him in for a hug, "I'm joking-don't tell your mom. Or Niqui. I'm afraid that she'd try to kill me," he joked. He only nodded and hugged him back before making his way to Niqui. She was very obviously crying, maybe he shouldn't have gone after Damien. But he smiled nonetheless and gave her a big hug, "I'll make sure to look after him," he reassured her and laughed as he heard Damien cheer, rather loudly, about the cookies his mom had baked for them all. He went and stood next to Grace, should he grab her hand? He wanted to...

Damien
the...dumb one
Damien had been excited all day. More than ready to start college and meet his roommates and start college sports!!! He hugged his father tight, "I promise to go to Grace with any school help," he said before he was able to say anything. Atlas just laughed and said, "Tell me about all of your games, we'll definitely try to be there. And try to call once a week, even if it's with your sister. And please stay out of trouble." He smiled and nodded, "I will!" He went towards his mom, who was crying...pretty hard, and started crying more as he pulled her into a tight hug. He was a very proud mommas boy, so he'd definitely miss her, and will probably text her every day. "You've grown up so fast, my baby," she said and started to squish his cheeks. He didn't mind, and just happily stood there as she had her fun. As much as he didn't want to, he was definitely on the verge of tears. He hadn't expected her to react this much. "Don't worry mom, I'll tell you all about my day everyday," he smiled and kissed her cheek. He hugged her tightly one last time before moving onto the Vega family and quickly jumped up and gave Oornal a hi-five before being picked up for a hug. He then hugged Dahlia, who told him how proud she was and that she'd do her best to come to his games. He smiled, and then smiled brighter as he was handed a bag. A bag of cookies!! Vega cookies no less!!! He let out a loud "WOO!!!!!" not caring in the slightest of any looks that he'd get and quickly grabbed a cookie to eat, "You're the best Dahlia! Thank you!" he smiled and grabbed his bags. He'd definitely be chowing down on these before he'd get to his room. Sadly, he doubted he'd be able to convince anyone else to give him their cookies...maybe Grace.
