Alex Mercer

'I woke up in a morgue. Now I hunt. I kill. I consume. I become.'

Name: Alexander James Mercer

Other Names: Blacklight, ZEUS, the Monster of Manhattan, DX-1118 C

Gender: Technically genderless, considered male

Race: Sapient Virus

Affiliation: None

Appearance: Being a shapeshifter, Alex can assume the form of anyone he had consumed before. However, he normally defaults to his original human form due to the Blacklight virus recreating his body down to genetic level. In this form, Mercer appears as a caucasian with very pale skin, although this could be the result of the virus as he appeared tanner in his human pictures. His light electric blue eyes also have a sickly grey tinting around him. His usual expression is either neutral or a perpetual scowl. While rarely seen without his hood, he has short curly brown hair slicked back. The ‘clothes’ worn by Alex aren’t actually clothes, but simply biomass mimicking the outfit worn by human Alex the night of his death. He wears three layers of clothes on his upper body: a partially-buttoned white shirt, a half-zipped plain grey hoodie, and a black leather jacket with a red tribal design on its back. It should be noted that the tribal design faintly glows in the dark. On his lower body is a pair of worn blue jeans and black shoes. As his clothes are part of his biomass, he cannot take them off without shapeshifting. Alex stands at a rather respectable 6’1” (1.85m) and has a sturdy and athletic build in his default human form at most times, though this may change due to amount of biomass. He tends to radiate a murderous aura wherever he goes.

Personality: Due to a childhood of abuse and neglect, Alex is cold, paranoid, and borderline sociopathic. He is a cynical and jaded individual who does not like talking and company. Before his human death at Penn Station, he released the Blacklight virus on Manhattan out of spite for those who wronged him. He hardly takes human costs into account as he freely consumes random civilians in order to replenish his biomass. However, he is not completely heartless, as he deeply cares for his younger sister Dana, standing in as a parental figure. The human Alex was also involved in a romantic relationship with his then-girlfriend Karen Parker. Alex is also highly intelligent, obtaining a doctorate and becoming one of Gentek’s top scientists by the age of twenty-nine. As Blacklight, he has the knowledge of hundreds of scientists, soldiers, and civilians, and every single living organism he had previously consumed. Alex also tends to get angry quickly, lashing out at those who displease him.

History:
Alex Mercer was born on July 16, 1979, where he spent his childhood in poverty. He spent his first nine years in foster care, and finally returned to his biological mother when he turned ten, though he was better off without her. He was the only parental figure for his sister Dana, and the two of them would play games and watch scary movies together. It is assumed that Alex practiced martial arts, as he has great combat prowess as Blacklight.

His high intellect and aptitude in science provided him an opportunity to leave behind his troubled past. He trusted no one, had no friends, couldn't care less about what others thought of him, and found solace only in his work. By the time he was hired by Gentek, Mercer was a borderline sociopath. He knew this, and didn't care.

After earning a doctorate degree in genetics at Columbia University, Mercer was hired by Gentek and became the head of the Blacklight project at Gentek. Alex's team was tasked with engineering weaponized viruses from samples given to them by the government. The samples that were provided exhibited curious behavior, including mimicry and retention of genetic information from infected hosts. With Mercer’s help, the team soon engineered a particularly virulent and potent virus codenamed 'Blacklight'. Mercer’s skill in altering genes made him a valuable asset to Gentek; his work was years ahead of his nearest competitor.

Despite his successes, Alex Mercer was considered a potential liability by Blackwatch, an elite army created to combat exotic threats. Over time, Gentek became scrutinized by Congress and investigations were proposed. Fearing an information leak, Blackwatch decided to cover it all up. Mercer, due to his paranoid nature, began to launch his own secret investigation on Gentek. With the assistance of his sister Dana, an investigative reporter, Mercer realized that Gentek employees associated with the Blacklight project were being silenced by Blackwatch; usually with a bullet between the eyes in a dark alley.

When he learned that a general purge was about to be unleashed upon the Gentek scientists, Mercer fled, fearing for his life. In the event he was caught, Mercer had brought insurance—he had smuggled a vial of the Blacklight virus out of quarantine and taken it with him. He also mailed a laptop with classified documents to Dana. But Blackwatch was too quick for him. While attempting to escape the city by train, Mercer was cornered in Penn Station by Blackwatch agents. In a fit of frustration and rage, he threw the vial to the floor, smashing it and unleashing a biological apocalypse. He was promptly shot by Blackwatch operatives. The virus began to spread to everyone in the station.

As he fell, he collapsed onto the viral sample, becoming infected as he died. His body was taken back to Gentek in a body bag. Little did they know, as he was transported, the virus was reconstructing Mercer's body, cell by cell; his biomass feeding the virus as it replicated the still-living matter it had infected.

Mercer woke up in a morgue on a slab just as two scientists were about to cut open his torso with a scalpel for an autopsy. The two men panicked and fled, terrified of Mercer. Mercer didn't understand why they were so frightened and had no recollection of his previous life. He ran after the scientists in an attempt to escape also.

Though Mercer was now an amnesiac, he was sufficiently aware to realize that the Blackwatch soldiers were certainly not friends when he saw them kill the two scientists as they tried to escape the facility. The soldiers noticed him, but his body regenerated the damage caused by their fire instantly. Surprising both the soldiers and himself, Mercer cleared the several feet high fence around the facility in a single leap. After escaping, he found himself trapped in Manhattan, being pursued by the military. He soon discovered that he had the ability to consume others and take on their appearance and memories, along with their special skills. With no recollection of his own past, Mercer decided to track down those responsible for his situation and consume them in order to uncover the truth behind what has been done to him, caught between the Blackwatch Special Forces and an ever-growing population of civilians infected by the virus he released.

On consuming Lt. Charles Perri he learned the whereabouts of his sister. Mercer hoped that his sister, Dana, would have some information regarding what happened to him, so he attempted to make contact with her. However, when he arrived at her apartment, he saw soldiers stationed around the building. He consumed a Blackwatch commander and, taking on his appearance, easily infiltrated their perimeter. When Alex entered he saw Dana being held by a Blackwatch soldier. Dana headbutted the Blackwatch soldier just as Mercer impaled him with his fist. Dana was terrified having witnessed this, but Mercer convinced her to help him.

Dana told Mercer that she knew there was something wrong going on at Gentek. She did not know what had happened to Alex either, but was able to tell him what he had told her prior to his memory loss. She told Mercer that he had her researching the Gentek organization for weeks. When she went looking for him to relay her findings, he had already disappeared. The conversation incited a flashback, in which Mercer remembered seeing the ID card of Dr. McMullen. Dana then lead Mercer to a new safe house, the home of Dana's friends, who were out of town for the year. Dana already had all of the files she could get on Gentek stored in the apartment.

Dana wasn't able to tell Mercer what it all meant, but insisted that the two of them work together to uncover whatever conspiracies were at work. Dana told Mercer that since Blackwatch was waiting for her at her apartment, they must also be waiting at his. Mercer arrived at his apartment and uncovered further hints of his past life. He saw a photo of himself and Dana with a graduate certificate from the University of New York. He also saw a photo of himself with a blonde woman. When he touched the photo he experienced a flashback in which he saw himself with the woman, his ex-girlfriend Karen Parker. When the flashback was over, it was apparent that the onset of these flashbacks was painful to him. As he was recovering, Blackwatch detonated a bomb that had been planted in the apartment, meant to kill him. He astonishingly survived without a scratch, despite having been thrown out of a window and down to the streets several stories below. Mercer hunted down and consumed the man who gave the order to detonate the bomb.

Mercer recognizes the girl. Dana tells him that the file has only two names in it: Alex Mercer and Elizabeth Greene, the girl in the photo. The file also says that she is being isolated in the Gentek building. When Mercer went to free Greene, she cryptically told him that "The time for waiting is over" and threw him across the room. Greene then disintegrated a wall by touch and sent Hunters after him as he escaped. She then took charge of the infected. He also located his ex-girlfriend, Karen Parker.

Dana continued to assist Mercer in locating his targets, while Karen promised him a cure for his disease. She first claimed that he needed to find her different samples of the virus destroying Manhattan, but once he arrived inside a nearby Hive, Mercer was ambushed by Blackwatch specialist Captain Robert Cross who used both the infected and his own soldiers as cannon fodder while he tried to take Alex down. Mercer ended up defeating him, but Cross turned the tables by distracting Mercer by mentioning 'Penn Station' and triggering a painful flashback. He injected Mercer with a biological weapon while he was distracted. Due to the parasite Cross had injected him with, Mercer couldn't use his special powers aside from his superhuman strength and speed. He still managed to escape from Blackwatch.

Mercer returned to Dana who showed him that Blackwatch was keeping an eye on a doctor for McMullen, Dr. Bradley Ragland. Dana then told Mercer that if he finds him, Ragland can help them get to McMullen. Before Mercer left, she showed him what she found about Hope, Idaho and Greene but Mercer said Hope was an experiment. She asked how he could know that, forcing Mercer to admit that he had killed a great number of people and their minds and memories were now within him. Dana was shocked by what her brother has become.

However, with the help of Dr. Ragland, Mercer was cured, restoring his abilities and gaining him the armor and blade powers as a result. During all of this, Mercer was placed as the number one terrorist threat in the entire United States due to treasonous activities against the United States and her allies. During one of Mercer and Dana's meetings, Dana was kidnapped by a Leader Hunter, a larger and stronger version of the normal hunters. Alex pursued this Leader Hunter across the city, but was ultimately unable to rescue Dana. With the help of Dr. Ragland, Mercer located and consumed the same Leader Hunter that kidnapped Dana, learning of her location in the core hive in the center of the city. Mercer was eventually able to penetrate the hive, where he confronted Elizabeth Greene.

Elizabeth Greene told Mercer that Dana was "with us now". During a struggle, Greene seemingly bests Mercer, but he was able to inject Greene with a syringe containing the parasite as it had been extracted from him. Greene's body rejected the parasite immediately and she vomited up a large amount of biomass, from which the Supreme Hunter was born. Mercer defeated the Supreme Hunter and saved Dana. As he left, a sinister clawed hand began to regenerate and rise from the remain of the hunter, showing the Supreme Hunter was far from done. The unknown contact later revealed as Captain Cross. As the conspiracy unfolds, with the assistance of an unidentified contact, the origins of Mercer, the virus and Elizabeth Greene were uncovered.

In 1969, the government had tested a virus codenamed Redlight in Hope, Idaho. This virus was designed as a biological warfare agent, targeting those of a predetermined race. The virus unexpectedly mutated into something far deadlier, infecting the whole population of Hope. Elizabeth Greene was the sole survivor of the incident; her body welcomed the virus rather than dying from it and it had rewritten her genetic code, along with that of her son, who was taken from her by Blackwatch and codenamed Pariah. This inspired the government to continue research into the virus, cooperating with the Gentek corporation. Scientists at Gentek locked Greene in a cell which had been used to research Blacklight, the new virus present in Greene. They continued to study the different strains of the virus that formed throughout her system as a means of accelerating the biological weapons program. Before long, the military began to deploy a new biological agent, Bloodtox, engineered to kill the virus and its hosts.

When the chemical was deployed across the city, the infection went underground to escape it, and subsequently amassed beneath the surface. The anonymous contact told Mercer to aid the military in pumping the Bloodtox directly into the ground. They hoped that it would drive the virus to the surface, allowing Blackwatch to fight it directly. Elizabeth Greene, now embedded in Mother a new viral organism, came to the surface and engaged Mercer in combat. Mercer killed Mother and consumed Greene.

He then attempted to confront McMullen, the Head of Research and founder of Gentek. After a grueling battle with Marines and Blackwatch between him and his target, Mercer confronted McMullen and moved in to consume him to find out what he knew. McMullen committed suicide before Mercer had the chance. It became apparent that General Randall planned to nuke Manhattan to destroy the virus. The mysterious contact, revealed to be Captain Cross, then guided Mercer to consume Colonel Taggart, who was attempting to flee the city. Cross had been ordered to capture Taggart and had Mercer impersonate him in order to get onto the USS Ronald Reagan where the bomb was being held.

Cross betrayed Mercer once on the ship, and was revealed to be the Supreme Hunter having consumed Cross at some point and taken his form. It battled Mercer on the deck of the Reagan and was subsequently decapitated by Mercer. Mercer boarded a helicopter and dropped the nuclear bomb into the Atlantic Ocean, allowing it to detonate at sea but leaving himself well within the blast radius. His remains washed up on the city shore as lumps of red tissue, but he was able to take human form after consuming a crow that attempted to devour him.

Mercer walks off thinking to himself, "What have I become? Something less than human, but also something more..." Later, Manhattan is seen in a recovering state, with the virus almost completely destroyed. After stopping the nuclear threat, Alex, having lost all faith in humanity as a result of his actions, leaves Manhattan and travels around the world in order to find true purpose and something to believe in.

Powers/Abilities: Alex's shapeshifting powers grant him superhuman physical abilities well beyond that of a normal human.
  • Superhuman Strength: His incredible strength allows him to lift cars, trucks, the destroyed remains of tanks, APCs, and helicopters and throw them great distances. He is far stronger than any normal human or most basic Infected, able to kill a regular human with a single, glancing blow and manhandle the infectious residents of Manhattan. Mercer is capable of punching holes through almost anything if necessary, including a two-foot steel door.
  • Superhuman Speed: Mercer's speed is likewise enhanced. He can achieve running speeds surpassing any vehicles including Helicopters. Alex is also able to break the sound barrier when jumping, and is able to dodge Greene’s Crimson Shockwave, which is done when Elizabeth projects small amounts of biomass fast enough to shatter buildings. He can run up skyscrapers and reach their tops in seconds.
  • Superhuman Agility: He can perform amazing parkour feats such as flips and rolls and maneuvers over and around vehicles and debris with little trouble. His leg strength allows him to leap nearly ten stories into the air. Mercer can run up sheer vertical surfaces and cling to walls for an indefinite period of time. Mercer is also capable of gliding, by ejecting small amounts of mass for further propulsion.
  • Superhuman Durability: Mercer's endurance far exceeds that of a human's by leaps and bounds. His body no longer possesses weak bones or vital organs, rendering him immune to otherwise debilitating injury. This biological change allows him to survive falls from any height completely unharmed. Bullets of any caliber will pass through his body, causing very little damage that heals instantly. He can withstand direct hits from rockets, hellfire missiles and tank shells, which cause only moderate damage. The superhumanly strong blows of the various type of Hunters and super soldiers cause the most damage of any type of attack. His superhuman stamina allows him to be physically active at all times without tiring. Mercer's body is greatly increased that he can survive extreme blunt trauma, he can survive through collapsing buildings fall on him and walk out of the rubble as it was nothing. Mercer can take shots from a rocket launcher and can only be push back a bit by the force without blowing to pieces like a normal human.
  • Passive Regeneration: Mercer's body has vast powers of self-regeneration. So long as he is properly nourished, Mercer can restore his health and heal any wounds within moments. He can heal a small amount of his health even without consuming any creature. Examples include regenerating bullet wounds instantly after being shot, regenerating a massive hole in his face after being shot point-blank by General Randall, and reconstructing his entire physical form from nondescript piles of biomass and the biomass of a crow within minutes of being blown apart by a nuclear explosion. Mercer also seems to have a robust immune system. Though unable to counter a parasite which had been introduced into his body without outside help, he gained a growing immunity to bloodtox with repeat exposure.
  • Superhuman Senses: Mercer's vision and hearing are enhanced, allowing him to see beyond the visible spectrum and hear across great distances even with physical insulation. He has thermal vision which allows him to locate heat signatures, and infected vision which can detect large concentrations of the virus and tap into the hive mind itself.
  • Adaptability: The Blacklight Virus is capable of adapting itself to certain elements after a continuous exposure to said element. For example, in the comic book, after being inhibited and slowed down by more than 10Gs of gravitational force, he then walked away from it as if the force never even existed.
  • Consumption: Alex can consume living beings in order to replenish his biomass. He also assimilates their memories in the process, and gains the ability to take on their appearance.
  • Disguise: Disguise is a defensive ability of Alex. This ability allows him to "disguise" himself as the last human target he has consumed. This ability allows Mercer to alter his exterior to resemble the consumed, also gaining their memories and abilities.

Weapons/Equipment:
  • Claws: Claws are the primary antipersonnel and an offensive ability evolved within Alex Mercer. When activated, the biomass of his arms shifts into three-fingered, one-thumbed talon-like appendages that can be used to effortlessly shred flesh and bone, allowing dismemberment of human-sized enemies with ease. Alex can lunge with these claws to quickly get to targets. Groundspike is an upgrade and an extension to the Claws. It is highly effective for short or longer-ranged area attack. The biomass from the Claws is channeled into the ground to erupt and impale a targeted enemy or a tight group of enemies.
  • Whipfist: The Whipfist is one of many abilities Alex has at his disposal. It consists of an extendable, elongated appendage with a blade at the end. Given its unique status as a ranged attack, the Whipfist is usually the weapon of choice when opposed by the recurring Helicopters or distant enemies. Mercer can grab distant targets with this ability. The Street Sweeper ability helps in dismembering multiple foes surrounding him with an eccentric 360-degree swath.
  • Blade: The Blade is an offensive power employed by Alex Mercer. Mercer gained this ability along with the armour power, once the parasite was removed from his body. When Mercer activates this ability, an elongated double ended blade forms from the base of the right elbow, turning hid arm into a giant razor-sharp cutting weapon. The Blade is extremely effective in close contact, and although the area of effect is very localised, the blade's basic attacks dish out higher damage than those from any of the other powers. While this power may be utilised against basic infantry units, its true destructive capability is in attacking vehicles and large infected creatures such as hunters or brawlers.
  • Musclemass: Musclemass increases Alex's melee damage twofold and increases the speed at which he strikes. At its base level, a charged attack will turn any human enemy it strikes into bloody chunks; once upgraded, even a glancing blow will cause this. Objects thrown with Musclemass will hit harder, fly further, and move faster than objects thrown at Alex's normal strength; upgrades will augment the speed and distance. All of Alex's Combat abilities, save for the Devastators, will be enhanced by Musclemass.
  • Hammerfists: The Hammerfists are Alex's anti-vehicle ability. By shifting large amounts of biomass into his fists, Alex Mercer is able to create massive, hammer-like hands to crush his enemies with. Hammerfist Smackdown is a slow but highly damaging slam attack. Capable of destroying early armoured vehicles with a single direct hit, but at the cost of attack speed. While charging the power, Mercer is susceptible to being interrupted by attacks. Otherwise, a fully charged attack has the effect of delivering two shocks upon anything within range.
  • Armour: The Armour consists black plates of hardened biomass; formed all around the body. While in this form, Alex Mercer is equivalent to a humanoid tank. This ability increases damage resistance overall, at the cost of movement and the ability to parkour.
  • Shield: The Shield power is incredibly useful defence ability. It soaks up damage automatically until it shatters and regenerates automatically. The Shield can be left activated permanently but will disable the ability to perform parkour.
  • Devastators: Limit-breaker attacks that the Alex can initiate. It causes a massive area damage to his surroundings at the cost of using up a portion of his critical mass health to execute.
    • Tendril Barrage: The Tendril Barrage causes barbs made of hardened tendons to erupt from Alex's body in every direction, impaling everything around them for a fair distance. The ground version has a certain quirk of causing additional "vacuum" damage, that is nearby objects and enemies sustain another round of damage when the tendrils retract. This is absent in the air version.
    • Groundspike Graveyard: The Groundspike Graveyard is similar to the Groundspike power granted by the Claws. When used, it causes massive spikes of biomass to erupt from the ground, creating a deadly circle of spikes in close proximity to Alex. It is highly effective against hardened targets like Armor and buildings, but less effective than the Tendril Barrage against larger organic enemies due to its shorter range and smaller amount of spikes.
    • Critical Pain: Critical Pain fires a mass of hardened tendons from Alex's hands to crush a single target. It is Alex's most damaging move, but can only be used to hit a single target. Anything that happens to be between Alex and the target will also be affected by the area air pressure caused from it

Jerome-092
1539349856469.png
"Jerome-092, reporting for duty."

Name: Jerome-092

Other Names: With the rest of the Spartans, Jerome can often be referred to as "Spartan", "Sierra", or "Sierra zero-nine-two".

Gender: Male,

Race: Augmented Human

Affiliation: UNSC, NavSpecWep.

Appearance: Out of armor Jerome has an extremely pale complexion due to his armor keeping his skin from getting sufficient sunlight. His hair is close cropped, but other than that, nobody has seen his face. Jerome is 7'2", and weighs 290lbs outside of armor. In armor this changes to roughly half a ton.

Personality: As a child, Jerome was a hardened survivalist who put himself first. As he grew older, this was tempered into a sense of leadership which was utilized in his Spartan training. Jerome is a Spartan and a soldier at heart, but is willing to go above and beyond for his comrades.

History:
Jerome Cable was born on May 8, 2511 to a poor family in the infamous Palaikos borderlands, an undeveloped portion of the human Inner Colony of Minister, a tough world that forced him into an early childhood of crime where he also realized his capacity for violence. He was of a genetic make-up that Doctor Catherine Halsey regarded as desirable for the SPARTAN-II program. After being selected as a suitable candidate for the SPARTAN-II program in 2517, he was abducted and sent to Reach, where he was specially trained to be a soldier by Chief Petty Officer Franklin Mendez and the artificial intelligence construct Déja. Although he initially attempted to escape from his training facilities several times, Jerome soon transformed from a self-centered survivalist to a competent leader, honing the speed and agility that kept him alive back on Minister. Jerome quickly proved himself to be one of the program's top candidates. Both Dr. Halsey and CPO Mendez identified him as one of the four emerging leaders of the group, along with Kurt-051, Fred-104, and John-117.
In 2525, he and the other candidates underwent a series of augmentations to improve their physical and mental abilities. Jerome was one of a number of "washouts" whose bodies initially rejected the augmentations, but he was able to be retrained and re-augmented separately. During the process, he was partnered with fellow augmentation washouts Alice-130 and Douglas-042, with the three being organized into an incarnation of Red Team with Jerome as a team leader.

Jerome was the leader of Spartan Red Team during the Battle of Arcadia. On February 9, 2531, Jerome and Red Team were tasked with stopping the Covenant long enough to evacuate the civilians of the planet. Afterward, he and Red Team linked up with forces from the UNSC Spirit of Fire and assisted in a counterattack on a Covenant outpost. Once the plan to infiltrate a large Covenant shield dome was passed down from Captain James Cutter, he and Red Team remained with the crew to assist with the assignment. He helped prevent the destruction of several prototype M145D Rhinos while the tanks ensured that the shield was destroyed. After Sergeant John Forge's forces triumphed over a Scarab, Jerome, Douglas-042, and Alice-130 searched for Covenant survivors in the jungles on an M12 Warthog.Upon hearing that Professor Ellen Anders had been abducted by Arbiter Ripa 'Moramee, Forge and Red Team boarded Spirit of Fire, which jumped into slipspace in pursuit of the Covenant destroyer carrying Anders.

After Jerome recommended destroying 'Moramee's ship and killing Anders rather than let classified information fall into Covenant hands, Forge confronted the Spartan. The altercation resulted in a broken chair, a seal malfunction on a bulkhead, and a stern interruption from Serina. From then on, Forge and Jerome always ate together in the mess hall.
Upon arriving at the Etran Harborage on February 23rd, Jerome assisted the Spirit of Fire's crew in neutralizing Covenant and Flood forces. Once Jerome assisted in destroying a proto-Gravemind, he and Red Team became stranded on the surface of the shield world. With the Spirit of Fire being dragged inside the megastructure, Red Team was assisted by Sergeant Forge and his forces and successfully withdrew to the ship. Red Team then assisted the crew in scouring the Flood forces from the hull of the Spirit of Fire. Soon, the crew repelled Covenant boarders and successfully repaired the ship's power core when after it was damaged by Covenant forces.
Once Anders was rescued, Jerome was tasked with ensuring that the Spirit of Fire's slipspace drive arrived at the teleporter that would take it to the Apex Site in an attempt to destroy the shield world's sun, denying the Covenant access to a fleet of Forerunner warships. Atop the Apex Site, Jerome, Alice and Douglas engaged a large force of Stealth Sangheili while Forge engaged 'Moramee. Once the area was clear, Jerome volunteered to take the damaged drive in and ensure its detonation. Forge, believing that the SPARTANs would play a bigger part in the war than he ever could, took his place. Jerome, Douglas, Alice, and the Spirit of Fire's crew were then charged with opening the gate which allowed the Spirit of Fire to exit the shield world. Red Team returned to the Spirit of Fire before slipspace drive detonated and, after the Spirit of Fire escaped the destruction of the shield world, Jerome, as with the rest of the crew, entered cryo-sleep. The loss of contact prompted the UNSC to conduct a search of the vessel for the next three years, and eventually, in 2534, declared the Spirit of Fire "lost with all hands". Thus, Jerome was declared MIA.
On January 1, 2537, six years after the events on Shield World 0459, a Flood outbreak was initiated aboard the Spirit of Fire by a Pod infector that had managed to remain hidden aboard the ship. As the Flood threatened to breach quarantine, Serina awoke Jerome, who, with the aid of Professor Ellen Anders, was forced to exterminate all infected crew members, ensuring the survival of the Spirit and its remaining crew. After all traces of the Flood parasite aboard the Spirit of Fire were erased, Jerome returned to cryo-sleep.

In 2559, after 28 years of drifting in space, the UNSC Spirit of Fire found its way to the orbit of the Forerunner Installation 00, also known as the Ark. Awakened from the cryo-sleep, Jerome and the rest of Red Team were tasked with investigating a UNSC distress signal coming from the surface of the Ark. There, inside the abandoned UNSC outpost they encountered Isabel, a logistics AI, who warned the Spartans about a grave danger. Jerome extracted Isabel and Red Team continued investigating the outpost. However, they were soon ambushed by the Jiralhanae warlord Atriox, the leader of a mercenary organization known as the Banished: Atriox defeated the Spartans, severely wounding Douglas by crushing his left shoulder. Red Team was forced to retreat, and Atriox ordered his troops to hunt them down and capture them, in order to learn where they came from. It was not long before the team was in a Warthog and being pursued by Ghosts. In order to escape the pursuers, Jerome requested an orbital bombardment from the Spirit of Fire on their location. Reaching the landing zone, Alice decided to stay back and provide cover for Jerome and Douglas' safe evacuation to the Spirit.

Aboard Spirit of Fire Jerome and Cpt. Cutter were briefed by Isabel on events that had occurred on the Ark, as well as on strength of their enemy. Soon after, Jerome was tasked with running an assault on Banished salvage operations. Strike One, a unit of eight Marines led by Jerome, cut through enemy lines, capturing and destroying the Banished bases on their way while evading bombardment by the energy projector of the Enduring Conviction, the Banished's CAS-class assault carrier. Their main target was Decimus, Atriox's right hand, who led the salvage operation. Once cornered, Decimus managed to escape via portal network. In the ruins of Decimus' base Strike One recovered an encrypted piece of data, which pointed to the Ark's Cartographer. After that Jerome led a small, experienced unit of Marines on a mission to capture and access Forerunner Control Towers so that Anders could activate the Cartographer's elevator. On their way they discovered that the Ark's sentinels were not fond of Banished presence and destroyed their mining equipment. After eliminating all Banished forces around the Control Towers and capturing them, Anders was able to gain access to the elevator and transport the Marines up to the Cartographer. After reaching the Cartographer, the UNSC forces discovered an energy shield was preventing them from accessing the central chamber and the map room. Moving up, Jerome and the Marines attempted to take down the shield. Before they could, however, the Ark's self-preservation protocol sent sentinels, forcing the Marines to retreat. Fortunately for the UNSC, EMP devices were launched down from the Spirit of Fire onto the sentinels, successfully neutralizing them and allowing Jerome and the Marines to disable all of the conduits powering the shield. Accessing the Cartographer's data, Anders discovered that the Banished were using the Ark's network of thousands of portals to move around and reported her findings to Captain Cutter. Intending to cripple the Banished's portal network and strand most of their forces, Cutter deployed Jerome and a handful of the Marines near the network's control hub with orders to destroy it. As they advanced on the hub, the Marines destroyed portals along the way to prevent being overrun and discovered that the control hub was guarded by Decimus. On this mission Jerome was joined by Douglas, who had just recovered from his injuries, and together they successfully terminated Decimus and destroyed the device. Once the unit was informed that the Spirit of Fire was under attack, they had to return to the ship immediately.

Soon after Red Team participated in a mission developed by Isabel to destroy the enemy's flagship, Enduring Conviction. According to the plan, Douglas and his team had to capture a Forerunner particle cannon, which the UNSC would use against the carrier, immobilizing it and disabling its shields, allowing Jerome and Isabel to infiltrate the carrier through its gravity liftwhile Alice and her artillery units cleared out a Banished base around the lift. However, en route to their destination, Jerome's Pelican was shot down. Jerome and Isabel managed to survive the crash and soon they rendezvoused with a sniper team led by Sgt. Allieri. Reaching the Banished base below the carrier, Jerome noted that the grav-lift was guarded by the anti-air turrets and requested Alice's assistance in dealing with them. Alice positioned her Kodiaks on the edge of the cliff near the platform and ordered them to fire on the Banished ordnance. Once the particle cannon finally managed to break through the Enduring Conviction's shields, Jerome was notified that he was clear to board and all remaining UNSC personnel underneath the carrier were extracted immediately. Arriving inside the carrier, Jerome made short work of the Sangheili in the area before inserting Isabel into a nearby holotank, allowing her to access the vessel's firing systems. Once Isabel managed to fire its ventral beam on the surface of the Ark, the installation's sentinels, in a desperate attempt to stop the destruction, launched themselves at the weakest part of the carrier. As the sentinels cut away at the vessel, Jerome held off Jiralhanae reinforcements, protecting Isabel. With the sentinels having done enough destruction to the carrier, the energy projector shut down and the front section of the vessel began to separate. Retrieving Isabel from the holotank, Jerome proceeded to jump out of the newly-formed opening, dodging debris as he descended toward the Ark's surface.

Once the Enduring Conviction had been destroyed and a new Halo ring emerged from the Ark's Foundry, Jerome was ordered to lead an offensive operation against the Banished on the Halo in order to beat them to the control room. Jerome was joined by Douglas and Alice, who just prevented the arrival of additional Banished reinforcements. A reunited Red Team led Marine forces to Alpha Base and defeated the Banished forces there. As the battle proceeded, a Retriever Sentinel suddenly appeared, wreaking havoc on the UNSC forces before the Marines could send it into retreat. After Red Team secured three Control Towers, Prof. Ellen Anders managed to take control of the massive sentinel and use its main weapon to gain access to the control room.[31] As the professor descended to the control room, the Spartans and Marines stayed behind to defend the structure. With support from the Spirit of Fire, Red Team and Marines held back heavy Banished reinforcements long enough for Anders to disable the Halo's weapons systems and plant a distress beacon to the UNSC. After the Banished forces on the ring had been dealt with, Red Team evacuated to the Spirit of Fire immediately before the Halo entered slipspace and departed for the Soell system.

Jerome continued to serve during the Spirit of Fire crew's ongoing fight against the Banished. At Isabel's insistence to better align the ship's impromptu command structure with the regulations of the UNSC at large, Jerome, then a senior chief petty officer like his teammates, was conferred the acting rank of commander by Captain Cutter.

Powers/Abilities:
Occipital Capillary Reversal

Surgery is performed on the occipital lobe of the left cerebral hemisphere of the brain; the occipital lobe is the visual processing center of the brain, containing most of the anatomical region of the visual cortex. The surgeon performs a procedure on the capillaries, the smallest of the body's blood vessels, to reverse the direction of blood flow in each capillary to boost the blood flow beneath the rods and cones of the subject's retina. The rods and cones of the eye are light-sensitive receptors located in the back of the eye. Together they are able to detect movement, light and color, and relay that information back to the brain. This procedure produces a marked visual perception increase.

Carbide Ceramic Ossification
The candidate's bones are exposed via surgery or procedurally sequential surgeries. An advanced carbide ceramic material is grafted onto the skeletal structure to begin assimilation into the upper layers of the each individual bone. This results in the bones being virtually unbreakable. The coverage of this procedure does not exceed 3% total bone mass due to significant white blood cell necrosis: effectively, the carbide ceramic can only comprise a thin outer "shell" bonded to each bone without interfering with bone functionality as organs.

Catalytic Thyroid Implant
A platinum pellet is implanted in the left thyroid gland; this pellet contains a human growth hormone that is released into the body to boost growth of skeletal and muscle tissues. As the hormone is released into the body the pellet dissolves and is absorbed. The hormone targets and stimulates the growth of fast and slow twitch muscle fibers, effectively producing significant gains in muscle mass. The hormone also targets osteoblasts to help boost bone tissue formation and effectively strengthen the bone structure.

Muscular Enhancement Injections
In addition to the growth hormone catalyst, a protein complex is injected intramuscularly that targets the muscles' intracellular molecular machinery to help increase muscle strength and endurance. These injections target the muscles' molecules increasing the density of the connective tissues and fibers, the more visible result being the muscles quivering and contorting over one another, making connecting tendons stronger and decreasing lactase recovery time.

Superconducting Fibrification of Neural Dendrite
Alteration of bioeletrical nerve transduction to shielded electronic transduction. 300% increase in subject reflexes. Anecdotal evidence of marked increase in intelligence, memory, and creativity.

Weapons/Equipment:
MJOLNIR MK IV (Commander Variant)
-Plated with several layers of starship plating, with a metallic-liquid-crystal under and a bodysuit under. The armor is capable of processing an A.I. due to the base armor being a prototype for Shields and A.I. integration. Unlike later iterations, the MK IV lacks the shield recharge time and the further enhancements to strength and armor that the MK V, VI, and GEN2 armors possess.
Jerome's commander variant is up-armored with a personalized backpack module, with the ability to coordinate with his personal mantis, Theseus.

-Command Mantis (Theseus)
-Upgraded mantis with much higher armor and shielding. It is equipped with a battlenet module that would allow it to command a large force in the event Jerome is separated from the Spirit of Fire or the Spirit is destroyed. It is armed with twin laser turrets and two long-range rocket pods. The mantis can be automated, but in its automated state it can only fire the twin lasers.

-Hydra MLRS
-Miniature rocket launcher firing down-scaled rockets from a revolver-style chamber. The missiles are able to independantly target different opponents each. The Chamber holds six rockets.

'You see reality, as reliable as it seems, can be manipulated. I have discovered this cruel fact and have embraced it. And now I face a battle, one that will truly test how much control I have over my own reality.'

Name: Zack Zakkory

Other Names: Lathos

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Affiliation: Defense Agency, and I suppose you could say the city he protects as well (Varstech)

Appearance: He stands at 5’11” with an average build, that I’m pretty sure isn’t well portrayed in the picture. He is Caucasian, has blonde hair and red eyes. He typically only wears that specific suit when a conflict arises but due to his current situation this is what he wears almost everyday.

Status: Alive

Personality: Zack holds one idea close to his heart, “We’re all going to die someday so why not enjoy the time we have.” For most this would be time with the family or doing things you’ve never done before but for Zack this means having no fear of death and supporting the actions of criminals. This twisted view of morals is also shared with reality, to him it’s just a tool that most people don’t know how to control and that it is temporary and holds no real power over you. He also carries a smile through all of this, he says he just enjoys everything he does but others wonder if this hides something more. Lastly is the effect Lathos has on him, Lathos acts like an imaginary friend, Lathos stays nearby offering advice and being a good “person” but this is just one side, the other asks for insane requests and contradicts Zack at every turn.

History: Zack had a relatively normal life for some of his early years, he went to school, had a home, sister and parents, and went on vacations. However at the age of 10 Zack’s parents where abducted, police had little success in finding any clues as to where they were taken or who took them so the case was declared inconclusive. Zack and his sister had fled their home in search of someone who would take them in, it seemed like would be a fruitless search until they met Storyteller. This strange fellow took them in and began teaching them, Zack’s sister took a more traditional root looking to study politics and such, but Zack was more interested in some of Storyteller’s stranger lessons. From time to time he would ask questions that were way beyond the expected mental scope of Zack but he was able to debate his views on these concepts with ease. Storyteller felt he was ready for the next level and so at the age of 12 Zack began learning about magic. They stayed with Storyteller for about 10 years before finally going off by themselves. Zack did a bit more training for 2 more years while his sister began on a few political campaigns. In that time of training he learned more about his family, he met Lathos and learned of a terrible prophecy. He made his way to Varstech where he told its leader of the coming dangers and asked to form the Defense Agency (an army made up of super powered and magical beings). Once formed they fought back Savage (the living and insane leftovers from the creation of Lathos). Zack spent the next 6 years settling down, as a final act before disappearing he passed down Lathos to his son.

Powers/Abilities:
. Fire magic (He knows about other magic but prefers this one)

Weapons/Equipment:
. Lathos - A being trapped in a mask, for most putting on the mask would instantly break their minds and corrupt their souls, but Zack’s lineage has been given the ability to tap into the masks powers. These powers are typically just a bit of a magic boost but at times can create a power feared by even the gods of Zack’s world

. Battle Ready Suit - The suit he wears practically everywhere is specially made with a flexible yet decently strong fabric. It also has access to nanobots that can be used to make this suit into a much more viable armor.

Wall-Knight
View attachment 444544
“I like blue crayons”
Name: Wall-Knight

Other names: none

Gender: Male

Race: Genetically modified Wall-Nut

Affiliation: The Plant Heroes

Appearance: As a Wall-Nut, Wall-Knight without his armor looks like any other Wall-Nut. He is a head shorter than the average man. His hard “skin” shell is a orange-ish brown, and his eyes are comically big. He doesn’t have a nose, but he does have a mouth. Other than his armor, he has no defining physical features other than these.

Personality: As a Wall-Nut, Wall-Knight possesses a innately desire to protect others. This trait was not diminished as he became a hero. He is fiercely loyal to his friends, is very protective, and will almost always put his life on the line to protect others.

History: Wall-Knight was just a regular Wall-Nut before the Zombot Hero-Tron detonated, giving Wall-Knight and other plants (and some zombies) superpowers. (OOC: From here on I’ll use fan lore because there is virtually no lore for Wall-Knight other than how he got his powers.) Wall-Knight initially showed no signs of powers, unlike the rest of his team, but when he was captured by Dr. Zomboss and held hostage in a garbage dump, he engineered a suit of armor that allowed him to escape Zomboss’s clutches. Upon returning to the Plant Base, he built another, more powerful suit of armor that he has been modifying and improving to this day.

Powers/Abilities: (Also Fan-Lore) Wall-Knightls suit of armor contains a variety of weapons, gadgets, and surprises of all kind, including but not limited to:

* Four heavy energy cannons: These four energy cannons are Wall-Knight’s main offensive ranged weapons. They have varying power settings, and multiple attack types, like energy beam, rapid shot, explosive pulse and more.

* Two laser swords: These are Wall-Knight’s main close range offensive weapons. They can be combined to form a single, more powerful laser sword.

* An energy absorbing dish: This is one of Wall-Knight’s defensive weapons. With it, Wall-Knight can absorb energy attacks and rechannel them back at the attacker.

* Mechanical Arms: Wall-Knight mainly uses these for everything you would use arms for, but with an added attachment, he can also use them as melee weapons.

* Jetpack: Allows for Wall-Knight to fly.

* Rocket hammers: These hammers, with the help of the rockets on the back, allow Wall-Knight to rapidly spin, delivering huge force.

* Advanced Shielding system: Helps Wall-Knight with his defense. Can be overclocked to grant Wall-Knight complete invulnerability for a short period, but this completely drains the remaining shield power.

* Grabbing Claw: Allows Wall-Knight to grab and swing around things too big for his normal arms

* a bunch of other gadgets.

Weapons/equipment: See above

"Everything that lives is designed to end. We are perpetually trapped in a never-ending spiral of life and death. Is this a curse? Or some kind of punishment? I often think about the god who blessed us with this cryptic puzzle...and wonder if we'll ever get the chance to kill him."

Name:2B

Gender: Female

Race: Android

Affiliation: YoRHa

Appearance: A female android in black attire standing at 168cm (5'6) (including heels) brandishing swords

Personality:
As a combat android, she does not encourage idle chatter on frivolous subjects and is generally reticent towards others. She also has high respect for the chain of command and rarely questions her orders, unlike her partner. However, 2B occasionally expresses a notably sardonic wit in the face of certain situations and can even be hot-headed at times.

History:
2B was created an unspecified amount of time before the events of the game as part of the new line of YoRHa androids. She was given the designation of 2B as a cover by the Commander, who gave her orders to observe one of the new Scanner models in action during YoRHa's operations against the machines.

2B's role was to ensure that 9S would not discover the true nature of Project YoRHa by executing him in case he dug too deep because of the natural curiosity programmed into him. Over the course of hundreds of operations, 2B was forced to kill 9S and wipe his memory countless times, an act that she came to hate for the pain it caused her after bonding with him over that time

Powers/Abilities:
  • Primary Attack - Basic light attack, does less damage, but is faster and has a higher combo potential.
  • Heavy Attack - Basic heavy attack, does more damage, but is slower and has shorter combos. Holding the heavy attack button will charge the attack up to two levels, the second of which will have an extended attack if it connects.
  • Aerial Attack - Primary attacks in the air will keep 2B in the air as long as the combo lasts while using a heavy attack will result in a ground slam.
  • Dash & Evade - Dash around and can evade attacks when dashing just before an enemy attack connects.
  • Self Destruct - 2B has the ability to self-destruct, dealing immense damage to herself and those around her.
  • Finisher - Pressing the action button on a downed enemy will do a special attack that does a fair amount of damage.

Shinji 'Hiiro' Kamipon
images

'This is my destiny...'

Name: Shinji 'Hiiro' Kamipon

Other Names: Almighty One, The Uberhero, Heropon

Gender: Male

Race: Evolved Patapon(Patapons are small creatures that have one big eye for a head that grew arms and legs.)

Affiliation: Patapon Army(Leader)

Appearance:
The Uberhero has a much more humanoid appearance compared to the rest of the Patapons. However, he retains the same one eyed nature that the Patapons had underneath that mask. His head is adorned with a cyan bird-like mask with wings sprouting on the side of his eye along with an antenna of sorts. Like most Patapons, Shinji appears be black in color except for the white Diamond on his chest. He also rocks a pink scarf.

Shinji appears to be over 3'9 feet tall.

Personality:
Shinji Hiiro Kamipon is somewhat strong-willed and hot headed, but has the heart and composure of a great leader. He makes sure that his army(at least, the remainder of said army) are all safe and sound. He mostly acts as an arrogant, ignorant and selfish prick to his enemies to those whom he doesn't trust. However, he seems to care enough about his allies that he would try to protect them from harm no matter what. In fact, in the hideout, he acts like any normal Patapon -- Cheerful and ALWAYS hungry for meat.

History:
Hiiro Kamipon started off as a simple Wakapon who had a somewhat strong relationship with the Patapon Princess during ancient times. When his love was taken away by the Karmen Tribe's leader, Ormen Karmen, he shattered the World Egg in hopes of bringing her back. However, this only caused the demons of the underworld to leak into the mortal world, leading to the Ancient Patapon Tribe's defeat. Filled with guilt and shame, the young Wakapon donned the Shubabassa Mask, a magical mask that takes away one's memories in exchange for grand power.

Years had passed, and the young Patapon was found by the Almighty's resurging tribe, stuck underneath a boulder and was about to made dinner by a dinosaur called 'Dodonga'. Upon being rescued, he doesn't seemed to be too keen at joining the army's cause on taking down the Karmen Tribe, but he reluctantly agreed thanks to the persuasion of the Patapon Priestess, Meden. On that day, the Almighty named him...'Hiiro'(Who knew that God had shit taste?). At first, he was disappointed at the name given to him, but it grew to him as time went on.

Time flew by, and the young Hiiro led the Patapons to victory with his great power and the Almighty's Guidance, allowing the tribe to overturn the Karmen Tribe and slay their demon lord DettanKarmen.

For nearly three years when the Almighty left his tribe once more, Hiiro led the Patapons onto uncharted lands where they met a terrible fate. Opening a sealed box, seven demonic spirits known simply as the Archfiends were released from the box, and turned every single Patapon into stone. Hiiro tried to fight the Archfiends himself, but his power were proven to be useless as he himself was turned into stone. Alas, marking the end of the Patapon Tribe...Or so it seems.

When the Almighty returned, he fused himself with the stone cursed Hiiro and became one. However, this caused his memories to be erased once more. After reviving three more stoned Patapons and dragging the Priestess' statue along the cold hard ground, the remaining Patapon Army followed a Silver Star to what's known as the 'Hideout'. From there, he leads his squadron onto one last journey to end the Archfiends and reach Earthend.

Powers/Abilities:
Hero Skills -- His mask grants him immense magical power that allows him to imbue magic into his equipment and use said magic depending on what he has. As such, this enchants the user's equipment, further enhancing it's strength. However, he must chant four words in a 4/4 time signature utilizing either--Pata, Pon, Don or Chaka in a rhythmic fashion in order to maintain the enchantment.
Healing Construct- By utilizing magic construct, Shinji is able to heal him and his allies within the vicinity of the construct. However, if the construct were to be destroyed, Shinji will feel immense mental strain and will be forced down until he recovers stamina.
Elemental Magic - Self Explanatory
Explosive enchantment - He can imbue his spears with explosive properties to further damage his opponent.
Clone Stampede- When utilizing one of the Hero Skills, Shinji is able to.summon a clone of himself to charge headfirst into danger, ramming over everything until it is forced into a halt.
Protective Energy Projection - When Shinji raises his shield, he is able to project one MASSIVE shield in order to protect both himself and his allies. He is also able to will several smaller light shields to reflect bullets and the like.

Weapons/Equipment:
From Swords, to Spears, to even GIANT ASS HOWITZER-CANNONS, Shinji has acquired the skill for them all. However, he only carries two vital weapons. His Holy Golden Halberd and a red round shield.
He also carries his Charibassa Mask which he never seems to take off no matter the occasion.
Four Holy Drums -- Four Sacred Drums of the Almighty that led his tribe to victory, each bearing four different symbols. Circle, Square, X, and Triangle--The Pata, Pon, Don, and Chaka Drums respectively.

Sakura Kasugano

'Training is fun if you set your mind to a specific goal to work toward! '

Name: Sakura Kasugano

Other Names: N/A

Gender: Female

Race: Human

Affiliation: N/A

Appearance: Sakura has short brown hair and brown eyes. She wears a navy blue vest with a pink trim, a white long sleeve button shirt underneath, a pleated skirt with frills at the edge, black mid-length socks and black short (possibly Docs) boots. Her bolero tie is long and the color are pink and white and is tied at her midriff baring top. Like Ryu's, her headband is red along with matching gloves with a stylized written on the white lines. She also has a head microphone at the left side of her ear.

Personality: In many aspects, Sakura is very outgoing and respectful in personality, as she is most of the time happy, energetic, cheerful, positive, hard-working and focused in combat. She has a noble spirit and a very determined attitude, either in studies or in martial arts training. She sees Ryu as an idol and teacher, rather than an opponent, since she always watches him fight and mirrors herself on his philosophies in battle.

Although her techniques may seem somewhat "rustic" in comparison to Ryu and Ken, she manages to balance her school work with her training in hopes of being accepted as Ryu's student and prove herself by fighting worthy adversaries. In a clean match, Sakura is a very patient and disciplined warrior. She is the embodiment of innocence and is acknowledged by many fighters to have great potential that may one-day match Ryu and Ken in strength when she gets older.

History: Refer here

Powers/Abilities: She can successfully manipulate ki, and is subsequently able to perform the Hadoken energy attack; however, due to her lack of training, she cannot throw it the full length of the arena like Ken or Ryu can. Unlike Ryu and other fighters from the same style, however, she can control the size of her Hadoken and throw larger Hadoken projectiles that sacrifice range and execution speed for size and power (up to 3 times larger).

Nathaniel Renko
WIP

fight_the_past_to_save_the_future_by_redvampire120652-dbu6r0p.jpg

"Renko, stop! Don't let Demichev live!"

Name: Nathaniel Renko

Other Names: Captain Renko

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Affiliation: US Marine Force Recon

Appearance:

Personality: Due to his lack of characterisation in the game itself, Renko is about as interesting personality-wise as the charts he is named after. Despite his general lack of personality, since he seems to take the rather insane situation of a radically changed timeline in stride, he seems to be incredibly adaptable. He also continues his mission despite everything without any complaints. Since he also managed to learn how to use the new weapons he picks up despite never seeing them before and even being able to easily grasp his Time Manipulation Device, he appears to be very analytical.

History: During the '50s, at the very start of the Cold War, it seemed that the Americans would always be the dominating power, thanks to their knowledge of the atomic energy. So, the USSR leader Joseph Stalin ordered his scientific staff to begin experimenting in that field. Then on a small island near Kamchatka, named Katorga-12, the scientists found the mysterious "Element 99" or E-99 for short, which, despite its inherent instability, was an incredible power source. The studies continued until 1955, when the island was all but destroyed by a mysterious incident. The government erased Katorga-12 from the maps and hid every piece of news about E-99.

In 2010, a sudden electromagnetic surge from Katorga-12 damages an American spy satellite. A military black ops team is sent on the presumably uninhabited island, but a second surge causes their helicopter to crash. Captain Nathaniel Renko, one of the two survivors, enters the abandoned scientific complex; he's then exposed to a strange energy wave, only to find himself in 1955.

While in 1955, Renko saves a man from a deadly fall, carrying him out of the burning complex. On his way from the building, a man shouts at Renko to stop and let him die, before he is crushed by debris. This scene turns out to later have a big effect on the game. A group of survivors refers to the man as "Demichev", just before Renko is abruptly returned to the year 2010. Renko discovers that the island has somewhat changed and encounters strange and violent creatures. He is forced to fight through a school and regroups with Devlin, the second survivor. Both soldiers are captured by Russian troopers. The Russian commander starts to ask them for a "TMD"; when Devlin declares that their actions are not legal, the Russian shoots him in the head.

Renko is saved by a woman named Kathryn. It is revealed that she works for an organization called MIR-12. MIR-12 revealed that two scientists helped study E-99. They were Viktor Barisov and Nikolai Demichev. Barisov was claimed dead due to a accident in a lab so only Demichev was left to work on the new found element. Barisov had created a machine called the Time Manipulation Device or the TMD. It was also revealed that MIR-12 discovered a journal saying that only one can save time and that person was Renko. Kathryn tells Renko to find the TMD and use it to go back in time and save Barisov. Renko succeeds and returns back to 2010 with Barisov.

Barisov and Renko plans to fix history by reversing the singularity with an E-99 bomb at an earlier time before the accident transformed most of the residents into mutants. Renko used the TMD to raise a ship called The Pearl for it had a E-99 bomb in its cargo bay. Renko recovers the bomb and returns to Barisov, who informs him that Kathryn was shot and killed while providing a distraction.

The bomb was missing its most important element (the E-99 core), so Renko has to carry it to the Cooker: the giant structure where in the past isotopes of E-99 were created. The 2010 Cooker is destroyed, so Renko had to travel to an earlier time to charge the bomb. Renko charged the bomb in 1955, overloading the Cooker systems: he returns to 2010 seconds before the Cooker exploded. He and Barisov fought into the heart of Katorga-12. Renko traveled back in time and destroyed the facility with the fully charged E-99 bomb. It is implied that this explosion triggered the destruction of the Singularity and mutated the island's population.

When Renko returned to 2010, he finds the facility still the same as if nothing happened. He finds Demichev holding Barisov hostage behind him. Demichev revealed that he rebuilt the facility after the bomb was detonated (presumably at another location). Renko shoots Demichev with a nonlethal shot, freeing Barisov in the process. Barisov figured out what was wrong, believing that the facility wasn't the problem. The real problem was Demichev. When Renko saved Demichev at the beginning of the game, he rewrote history. Demichev also revealed that while Renko was saving him from the fire, another Renko was there trying to prevent himself from saving Demichev's life. This was the man who yelled at Renko to let Demichev die before being crushed by debris. Demichev gave an offer to grant Renko unlimited power if he gives him the TMD. Barisov protests and tells Renko to go back in time using the Singularity to power the TMD, and kill himself to turn history back to normal.

Powers/Abilities:

Weapons/Equipment:
  • Time Manipulation Device (TMD): An experimental E-99-powered device constructed in the 1950s by Dr Viktor Barisov. The device can manipulate an object's time state, aging it into disrepair and dust or reverting it into pristine condition. The TMD grants its user a variety of powerful abilities:
    • Ageing: Rapidly ages objects and living creatures, and can age enemies into dust. Can also revert the ageing process, restoring things such as health kit containers.
    • Reversion: Transforms enemy humans into highly aggressive blind mutants known as Reverts. Typically only useful as a distraction when fighting large groups of enemies. Ageing a Revert will cause it to charge towards the nearest target and explode.
    • Impulse: The TMD emits a short-ranged pulse of energy that knocks back enemies. Works as a melee attack.
    • Chronoping: Shows the user a path to the objective.
    • Deadlock: Creates a sphere of chrono energy that freezes all objects in the affected radius in time for a short duration. Anything that enters the field is also frozen. Renko himself is unaffected.
    • Gravity Manipulation: Allows the user a telekinesis-like ability. Can grab projectiles out of the air and launch them back. Does not work on organic material.
    • Time Rift: The TMD can be used to enlarge time rifts to travel through time, although it cannot create any.
  • Centurion: A heavy handgun that fires E-99 bullets. Low ammo storage, low fire rate, and low damage.
  • AR9 Valkyrie: Versatile assault rifle. Lethal combination of firepower, range, and accuracy.
  • Volk S4: Semi-automatic shotgun. Extremely effective at close range, ineffective at longer ranges.
  • Kasimov SNV-E99 Sniper Rifle: Semi-automatic sniper rifle. Features a time dilation mode that slows down time for the user and allows for the user to have superhuman reflexes.
  • Spikeshot: Railgun that fires an E-99 spike that sticks to targets and explodes seconds later.
  • Dethex Launcher: Grenade launcher that fires regular grenades and controllable explosive balls.
  • Autocannon: Gatling-type weapon with an extremely high fire rate and ammo capacity.
  • Seeker: Semi-automatic sniper rifle. This rifle fires E-99 charged shells that alter time and allow the operator to control the bullet.
  • RLS-7: Single-shot rocket launcher that fires high explosive guided rockets.

Mario

"It's-a me! Mario!"

Name:
Mario Mario

Other Names:
"Jumpman", "Bro" (By Luigi), “Super Mario”, "The Great Gonzales"

Gender:
Male

Race:
Human

Affiliation:
Mushroom Kingdom

Appearance:
Mario's appearance is timeless- his unique, yet relatively simplistic outfit combined with his unmistakable physical appearance has only served to contribute to his status as an icon. He is a short, stocky young man- his height ranging in the lower end of 5 feet tall. Despite his athleticism, agility and endurance, his overall physique is still rather pudgy. Though his moustache makes him look middle-aged, in reality, he is only around 25 to 26 years old. He has a large, round nose and a full head of brown hair, with three short cowlicks in the shape of a sprout near the back of the top of his head (on the rare occasion you see him without his cap).

Mario would simply not look the same without his moustache, being large, long, bushy and well-kept, pointed upwards at the sides and styled into what appears to be a semi-circular pattern. He wears his trademark "plumber" outfit almost everywhere he goes, consisting of light blue overalls with yellow buttons over a bright red, long-sleeved shirt, tucked underneath a pair of white gloves with a notable collar at the neck. On his feet, he wears a pair of light brown work shoes. Last, but not least, he wears his classic red cap, completed with a white circle in its centre, emblazoned with a red "M" insignia.

Personality:
Mario is a kind, cheerful, courageous and playful man- though, indeed, sometimes he can come across as cocky or even headstrong, depending on the situation. Generally, however, he is a man with an iron sense of justice and morality who stands for what is right, and a man who has a passionate love for food; especially Italian food. Mario has proven himself to be a competent fighter, all-around sports player, and party lover, showing good sportsmanship for his wins and losses, even complimenting his opponents if he fails to come in first place. This does not mean he likes losing, however, and will not take losses lightly- he is still fiercely competitive and a very determined man.

When faced with failure or dire odds, Mario is never one to give up- without fail, he will follow through until the end. He has proven himself on multiple occasions to be an impressively resourceful and intelligent man with a tendency to turn near-impossible situations around, such as when he and Luigi navigated Bowser's body by exploiting changes within, coming up with moves such as Drill Bros., or even from Mario and Luigi's incredibly extravagant yet just as effective Bros. Attacks. Finally, it is shown that Mario has a love for animals, and enjoys music, particularly opera and new-wave Europop, though he seems to have a soft spot for jazz, as well.

Mario has been shown on a few occasions to have an overbearing attitude towards his brother, Luigi- however, this is mostly good-natured teasing between the two brothers, with Mario's outgoing, "big-brother" personality perhaps rubbing against Luigi's more timid, introverted nature. Additionally, Mario is much more impulsive and aggressive than his brother and is willing to enter dangerous situations all alone, often aiming to solve problems quickly with his actions. While Mario welcomes help and partners during his adventures, at times he might resent the implication that he needs help in the first place. Despite this, he enjoys their company. He and Luigi have an unbreakable brotherly bond- though Mario has gone on adventures alone in the past, Luigi will, most of the time, accompany him- they make an excellent team, and will stop at nothing to help each other. When Mario retires, it is revealed that he plans to hand full control of his plumbing business to Luigi. Overall, he is an excellent brother and role model- even if Luigi does, at times, feel jealous.

History:
Powers/Abilities:
  • Extreme Agility/Jumping Ability: Mario is incredibly nimble, able to cover distances, reach areas and perform feats that anyone else would find to be absolutely impossible. He can jump incredibly high, many times his own height. He is capable of many acrobatic manoeuvrers, such as his Long Jump and Spin Jump- though perhaps his more well-known moves include the Wall Jump and the Ground Pound- which, when used, will seemingly increase his weight dramatically, causing him to hurtle to the ground at incredible speeds. His agility and jumping ability make him difficult to hit in combat and serves him well in attacking.
  • Expert Vehicular Driver: Mario is experienced in driving and handling all sorts of vehicles, and has mastered the quad-bike, motorbike and other traditional racing vehicles.
  • Skilled Combatant: Mario has his own style of martial arts, revolving mostly around jumping. This mostly came to fruition after defeating the martial arts master, Jinx- combined with his agility and his proficiency in hand-to-hand combat, he is truly an opponent to be feared when in battle.
  • Bros. Attacks: The Bros. Attacks between him and Luigi are attacks that make their enemies shiver in their boots. Though extravagant and incredibly tiring to use, when executed correctly, they can wreak devastating damage on their foes together. Mario does need his brother Luigi to perform these, obviously.
  • Enhanced Durability/Stamina: Despite his less-than-optimal physique, Mario has been shown to take quite the beating and still stand up and fight afterwards. Similarly, he has been shown to run and jump non-stop and perform other such explosive actions for a very long time, and still come out okay at the end of it. Whether this is due to physical training or due to an innate ability or power he possesses is unknown, but it is an admirable quality of his- nevertheless, he is still a human being, and will feel pain and suffering as a human would.
  • Enhanced Strength: In spite of his small size, Mario is able to pick up and swing incredibly heavy foes, such as Bowser. Though this causes him strain, he can lift objects and enemies multiple times his own size.
  • Hand-To-Hand: Mario possesses immense skill in the art of hand-to-hand combat, displaying many powerful techniques of his own when in battle. Despite being more of an all-rounder when it comes to combat, his hand-to-hand skills are something to be feared along with his jumps.
  • Firebrand: Mario has the ability to create and manipulate fire, thanks to the teachings of the Fire God and the Jellyfish Sisters. Though this usually comes in the form of fireballs, he can sometimes manipulate it into something more, such as when using his Fire Bros. attack, where he can throw many fireballs in one place to store it as one massive fireball, or, as a more drastic measure, his Mario Finale move, where he can dish out an awe-inspiring blast of fire. However, he cannot use this all the time- the more he uses these sorts of attacks without taking time to cool down, the weaker his other fire attacks will become. Moves like the Mario Finale, though devastating in their own right, will render him unable to use his fire powers at all for a period of time.
Weapons/Equipment:

  • Hammer: A large, sledgehammer-like apparatus, the hammer is and has been a very reliable tool for the Mario Bros., able to break through certain objects, cause damage to their foes, and even knock back certain attacks.
  • Super Mushroom: Mario has two of these in his possession at present. When ingested, the Super Mushroom's mystical healing properties take effect on the individual who used it- though the mushroom is not a miracle product, it is a wondrous healing item.

Luigi

"I'm-a Luigi! Number-a one!"

Name:
Luigi Mario

Other Names:
"Green 'Stache" (Mostly by Bowser), "Bro" (By Mario) "Sonny" (By Professor E. Gadd), "The Green Thunder"

Gender:
Male

Race:
Human

Affiliation:
Mushroom Kingdom

Appearance:
Luigi's appearance, though definitely notable in its own right, is quite similar to that of his brother, Mario. Though Luigi does not, perhaps, get the same level of attention and recognition as his brother does, this is unjust- and Luigi's appearance is just as iconic as his brother's. Though still standing on the lower end of five feet tall, Luigi is a few inches taller than Mario. Additionally, he is notably slimmer physically, with a thinner face, slightly longer neck, and with eyes a lighter shade of blue than his brother's. He, too, has a large, round nose. His hair is more of an auburn or dark maroon colour, with two short cowlicks at the back of the top of his head.

Luigi's moustache, too, is part of what completes his appearance. Like his brother's, it is long, bushy, and well-looked after. Unlike his brother's, however, his moustache is less ragged- a dark brown colour and pointed at the top, neatly smoothed into what appears to be a single semi-circle at the bottom, before continuing to the other side of his moustache. Luigi, too, often wears his trademark "plumber" outfit, consisting of notably darker blue overalls with yellow buttons, over a bright, long-sleeved green shirt tucked into his white gloves with a collar at its neck. He wears light brown work shoes on his feet. Finally, he wears his green cap on his head, completed with a white circle in the middle emblazoned with a green "L" insignia. The "L" stands for "winner".

Personality:
Luigi is often portrayed as rather timid, and, in extreme cases, as a little bit of a coward. He is extremely worrisome and considerably self-conscious, and despite him gaining considerable popularity in recent years, he often feels he is overlooked in favour of his brother- especially after having lived in his shadow for many years. This is untrue, however- Luigi has entire fan club led by Toadia (who claims to be his biggest fan), and many other Mushroom Kingdom residents. Luigi has very strong emotions, and strongly appreciates any kind gesture towards him and those who he cares about- sometimes shedding tears. On the other side of the coin, he is very sensitive when someone insults or takes a jab at him. Like Mario, he has a soft spot for animals, and is horrified by animal cruelty.

Despite his fears, concerns, and hesitations, there is one thing that cannot be disputed- that Luigi is a refined, thoughtful, incredibly kind-hearted individual- he holds the same morals and has the same sense of justice as his brother, and, in spite of danger and initial overwhelming fear, he will usually proceed regardless, as long as he feels what he is doing is right. Luigi is physically proven to be a large-hearted person, as shown when he hits the Aurora Block, a block with the ability to match the size of the person who struck it, the block grows to massive size and flattens him. Even though he may be scared, he will always step in to help others. Luigi is often reluctant to act with violence, preferring to work things out diplomatically- and, unlike Mario, he seems to think things through more thoroughly before diving in.

In spite of his fears, Luigi is able to overcome them and act as a hero when necessary- especially when others are in danger. He has saved the Mushroom Kingdom along with his brother many different times, and will not stand for injustice of any sort. One of his biggest fears seems to be his fear of ghosts- or phasmophobia- however, this has been shown to lessen ever-so-slightly over the course of his many adventures, and has, in fact, adopted a polterpup- a ghost dog. Luigi seems to have an eye for art and is a slight neat freak, and enjoys gentle, smooth music.

Luigi looks up to his brother. They share an unbreakable bond together- though there is occasional sibling rivalry between the two, and though Luigi occasionally feels jealous and overshadowed by Mario, he laments that he wishes to be a "great hero like my brother Mario", admiring him and his actions to a great extent. He has saved Mario on multiple occasions, mostly from King Boo and his forces. They make an excellent team together, with Luigi viewing Mario as an important role model. In summary, Luigi can be described as timid and cautious, yet kindhearted, brave at times, and willing to protect what is right.

History:
Powers/Abilities:
  • Extreme Agility/Jumping Ability: If Mario is nimble, then Luigi is even more so. He can jump an awe-inspiring height; marginally higher than Mario, even, and certainly many times his own height, being the best jumper in the Kingdom. He is capable of Mario's acrobatic manoeuvrers and then some, such as his Long Jump, Spin Jump and Wall Jump- he can even perform the Ground Pound- which, when used, will also increase his weight dramatically, causing him to hurtle to the ground at incredible speeds (though with perhaps not the same strength as his brother). His agility and jumping ability make him difficult to hit in combat and serves him well in attacking- perhaps too well, as Luigi is rather clumsy, and will often find ways to slip or hurt himself when moving at fast speeds or performing intense acrobatics.
  • Expert Vehicular Driver: Like Mario, Luigi, too, is experienced in driving and handling all sorts of vehicles, achieving mastery with the quad-bike, motorbike and other traditional racing vehicles.
  • Skilled Combatant: Though Luigi is hesitant to fight in the first place, when he does, he should be feared just as much as his brother. He is experienced and a competent fighter, possessing many secret techniques of his own- his flexibility and agility make him a very tough opponent to fight, especially in hand-to-hand, and especially when paired with his brother.
  • Secret Techniques: Luigi is not one to be underestimated- he is capable of many difficult to execute, yet extremely effective, secret techniques. For example, he can perform the Super Jump Punch, where he channels his energy into one devastating, explosive uppercut. Luigi needs to be very close to his enemy for this, however, otherwise the attack will merely scuff the opponent and leave him vulnerable. Though this causes slight damage to himself, he is capable of the Green Missile attack- as well as many more.
  • Bros. Attacks: The Bros. Attacks between him and Mario are attacks that make their enemies shiver in their boots. Though extravagant and incredibly tiring to use, when executed correctly, they can wreak devastating damage on their foes together. Luigi does need his brother Mario to perform these, obviously.
  • Enhanced Durability/Stamina: Despite his less-than-optimal physique, Luigi has certainly been shown to take quite the beating and still stand up and fight afterwards.
  • Enhanced Strength: Despite him not being as strong physically as Mario, Luigi still possesses considerable strength, and is able to pick up and swing incredibly heavy foes and objects. Though this causes him strain, he can lift certain objects multiple times his own size.
  • Thunderhand: Luigi has the ability to create and manipulate electricity, thanks to the teachings of the Thunder God and the Jellyfish Sisters. Though this mostly comes in the form of thunderbolts (an orb of electricity) and lightning bolts, he can manipulate this into something much more, such as through his many Bros. Attacks, or being able to fire a massive beam of electricity, similar to the Mario Finale. Also like Mario, this attack becomes weaker the more he abuses it- firing devastating beams to match the Mario Finale, for example, will render him unable to use his thunder powers at all for a period of time.
Weapons/Equipment:
  • Hammer: A large, sledgehammer-like apparatus, the hammer is and has been a very reliable tool for the Mario Bros., able to break through certain objects, cause damage to their foes, and even knock back certain attacks.
  • 1-Up Mushroom: Luigi has one of these in his possession. When ingested, the 1-Up Mushroom can revive a fallen or unconscious comrade. It is unknown if this has any effect on the dead.

Sento Kiryu and Ryuga Banjo
7e7ff2e0712cd214e4e7ec95ad13729a.jpg

Rabbit! Dragon! Best Match!

  • 'Let's begin the experiment.'

    Name: Sento Kiryu

Other Names: Kamen Rider Build, The Narcissistic, Conceited Hero of Justice, Katsuragi Takumi, The Devil's Scientist

    Gender: Male

    Race: Human

    Affiliation: Independent

    Appearance:
Sento is a young man with a black hair and brown eyes. Whenever excited, a huge lock of his hair rises up. He has a lean build, and sports a longcoat with a green hoodie-shirt underneath it. His shoes are usually mismatched in color.

As Build, he is clad in a black undersuit with red and blue body armor. His helmet is bichromal, sporting a red and blue color scheme. The left side of the helmet is colored blue, and it's visor resembles that of a Tank while the right side is colored red with a visor that resembles a Rabbit's ear. RabbitRabbit and TankTank had a single color scheme of either red or blue armor onto of a black armor and undersuit that resembles a rabit or a tank
    Personality:
Sento's outstanding traits are his intellect, narcissism, and sense of justice. A genius by all standards, Sento has repeatedly displayed advanced knowledge in physics, mathematics, chemistry, engineering, and cryptography.
Sento's polymathism is accompanied by an inflated ego and sharp tongue: he likes to praise himself for his works, and often mocks Ryuga for his comparatively lower intelligence. Sento often relies on his own skills to solve problems and never expects sudden assistance from others, so when it happens, he tends to either be surprised or turns them down. Also, Sento can be easily caught off guard when he accomplishes anything or witnesses something unexpected and new which excites him, because of his reliance on his intellect. In this state, he is vulnerable to any surprise attacks.

Sento can be easily attracted to anything that is mysterious and interesting, such as new innovations and anything that brings him closer to uncovering his past, and will relentlessly pursue it. This will continue until either he reaches a conclusion or someone forcibly stops him during progress. When Sento gets excited (usually due to a discovery or breakthrough), a part of his hair sticks up.

Sento's greatest trait is his sense of justice. A firm pacifist, he believes that science should be used for the sake of humanity, and harshly opposes using it for war. His selflessness and sense of duty causes him to try and shoulder the burden alone rather than involve others, whether he can carry that burden or not. This altruism intensifies the guilt he feels for his role in creating the Smash and escalating the war. While generally calm and composed, Sento is prone to making poor judgement during emotional turmoil.

    History:
    kamenrider.wikia.com/wiki/Sento_Kiryu

    Powers/Abilities: Superpowers, all that.
Hazard Level - Altered Human genetics due to the absorption of Nebula Gas to the Human body dictates a change in strength and genetic properties.
Fullbottle Augmentation -Can utilize Fullbottles' traits just by shaking them. Different bottles vary in effect
    Weapons/Equipment:
Fullbottles -Transformation Trinkets utilized by the Build Driver.
Gold Rabbit Fullbottle - Formerly the Rabbit Fullbottle. It changed after Sento gained Hazard Level 7 due to their compatibility. It's best match with the Silver Dragon Fullbottle
FullFull Bottle - A Special Transformation Trinket that grants him access to RabbitRabbit and TankTank Forms with the help of the Hazard Trigger. This'll summom a mech depending on the chosen side. If RabbitRabbit, a mechanical Red Rabbit will aid Sento before breaking apart into armor pieces. If TankTank is chosen, several small tanks will roll towards the enemy and open fire until the user is finished cranking the Build Driver's lever.
Genius Fullbottle- Sento's Magnum Opus and his most powerful transformation trinket, granting him the power of all Fullbottles combined and the ability to neutralize foreign alien traits from a person's body. However, if the user is overwhelmed with negativity and wrath, the Genius Fullbottle will refuse to work. At the moment, the Genius Bottle appears to be broken.
Build Driver - The Rider System that requires two Fullbottles or the like to encase the user's body in armor.
Hazard Trigger - The Beserker Tool that grants him immense destructive power. Using it for too long will cause the user to go beserk until the trigger is removes from the driver or when then user is forces out of the transformation.

Agent 3
Splatoon_148799_5579146.jpg

"..."

Name: Unknown

Other Names: Agent 3

Gender: Genderless

Race: Inkling

Affiliation: Agent 3 is loyal to peace and justice, but harbors a bias for their native home, Inkopolis, should it still exist somewhere.

Appearance: Agent 3 is actually a little younger than their fellow agents, Callie and Marie. They have long, naturally yellow-green tentacles which coincidentally mesh well with their equipment. At the tips, the coloration changes from their rare hue of yellow-green to a bloody red. Their irises are naturally brown, and their pupils are circular, unlike the cross-shaped pupils of Marie and Callie. Their ears are more rounded than most inklings, and their nose is very small. They often look judgemental, due to frequent squinting and scowling. When not wearing their Squidbeak Splatoon outfit, they can be found in a loose-fitting, short-sleeved blue shirt, dark grey shorts, and an orange cap.

Personality: Agent 3 is often very reserved, keeping to their self most of the time. They are most comfortable taking orders and insight from a trusted Agent through their headgear, however they can solve issues perfectly fine on their own, should the need arise. They refuse to take any leading role, mostly due to them not wanting to talk. Outside of (one-way) communication through their headgear, the don't very much appreciate accompaniment, and Marie thinks the Agent merely tolerates their headgear.

History: Agent 3's past is shrouded in mystery, mostly because they speak with no one. Not Callie, not Marie, not even to their self in private (Marie's already tried that).

Powers/Abilities: Inklings do not have superpowers, however Agent 3 may be an exception. Their superior strength, agility, and impeccable luck were aptly demonstrated in the battles against the Great Octoweapons, along with DJ Octavio's Octobot King.

Weapons/Equipment:
Hero's Splattershot- A rather generic ink-powered weapon with a high firerate but a relatively low range.
Hero's Headgear- A multipurpose suit which helps protect the Agent from damage, and lets them communicate with others across almost any frequency. The headpiece is merely to most critical part, and representative of the entire outfit.
Hero's Ink Tank- A tank of ink that sits snugly onto the back of an Inkling. Can collect excess ink generated by the inkling, for use in their weapons.

Bandana Waddle Dee
Bandana Dee.png
"I'm more than a pretty face!"
Name: Bandana Waddle Dee

Other names: Bandana Dee, Waddle Dee, The next Smash Bros Character

Gender: Presumably Male

Race: Waddle Dee

Affiliation: Bandana Dee formerly served King Dedede, before befriending Kirby. Bandana Dee generally works for the well being of Dreamland and Pop Star, helping Kirby on his many adventures.

Appearance: Bandana Dee looks like most other Waddle Dees: a orange colored orb with stubs for hands and yellow feet. They also have a beige face with two eyes and no mouth. Bandana Dee's most defining feature is his striking blue Bandana, tied in a knot around his head.

Personality: Bandana Dee is fairly easygoing, usually relaxing with Kirby and others when there isn't an apocalyptic threat looming over the planet. When there is, however, Bandana Dee will defend his home to the best of his abilities. When he served King Dedede, he even fought Kirby himself, despite being outmatched and given permission to leave, showing his undying loyalty. Afterwards, he was seen as the lone figure cheering his King on.

History: Bandana Dee was first seen as King Dedede's loyal servant, staying by his side as the King sent his legions of armies to fight Kirby. As Kirby neared the palace of his majesty, King Dedede's manpower dwindled, as Kirby defeated his army. Fearing for his highness, Bandana Dee made the choice to stall the pink orb, despite the King's orders to save himself. Bandana Dee was easily defeated, but not before King Dedede was able to prepare his ultimate weapon. In the ensuing fight between Dedede and Kirby, Bandana Dee watched from the sidelines. Some time after, Bandana Dee competed against Kirby in a tournament of megaton punch, though he was easily defeated. Even later, Bandana Dee assisted Kirby, King Dedede, and Meta Knight in repairing the Lor Starcutter, and then killing Magolor. Since then, Bandana Dee has been a steadfast ally to Kirby.

Powers/Abilities: Bandana Dee is exceptional with a spear, capable of swinging it fast enough to cause afterimages, hard enough to hurt eldritch abominations like Void Soul, and can spin it so fast, he is capable of flying. He also wields a parasol capable of blocking all but the most powerful attacks. Bandana Dee also has a beam whip, which can emit devastating blasts of energy. He also has super strength, capable of punching a crack in the planet large enough to be visible from orbit.

Commander Vortex
y9QRlCO.jpg

'The best diplomats are the ones who carry the biggest guns.'

Name: Commander Spatial Vortex

Other Names: The Commander, Commander Vortex, Supreme Commander

Gender: Male programming

Race: Commander

Affiliation: Vortex Syndicate

Appearance: Commander Vortex is a massive bipedal war machine. He stands at a height of fifteen metres and has an incredibly bulky frame. He uses an Imperial Visionik chassis which is painted steel and Dodger blue, with his emblem painted on his chest. His left arm contains a fabricator, which can be used to build and repair structures an extreme speed, while his right arm houses his Uber Cannon, a weapon that can fire powerful energy projectiles, but needs to be recharged after every shot. His cannon arm also contains a plasma cannon which has a decent rate of fire but low damage. The central optic in the middle of his torso can be used as a headlight in dark environments. His upper body can swivel a full three-sixty degrees. When needing to meet with people outside his main base, he often inhabits the body of one of his units, and also controls a custom-made avatar body often.

Personality: Largely cynical and jaded, Commander Vortex has a rather negative outlook on life. Bitter and snarky, he has quite a sharp tongue. Though calm most of the time, he has a tendency to get agitated and annoyed easily, commonly taking his frustration out on his troops. Has an obsession with military tech, always looking to claim more 'shinies' for himself. A lover of dark humour, he tends to be socially awkward at times.

History: A regular teen on holiday who found himself in the body of a Commander from Planetary Annihilation, one of his favourite games, plummeting towards the ground from space in a drop pod after a good night's sleep. He then found himself surrounded by characters he once thought fictional and soon discovered that yes, the PA SI stories were indeed true. Stranded with no way of returning home, he decided to do what all Commanders were built to do: adapt, expand, and escalate. He established a base and built an army, establishing a foothold on the world of Exodus, eventually forming a large and powerful organisation. With the newly-formed Vortex Syndicate, he began to expand, forging alliances with other organisations willing to cooperate with him. Eventually, the Syndicate rose to become a major player on Exodus, slowly beginning to spread to the neighbouring world of Egress.

Powers/Abilities:
  • Progenitor Tech Bullshit: Commanders are built with Progenitor tech, which includes super durable alloys that can shrug off nukes, ridiculously fast construction, and incredibly accurate sensors.
  • Adaptation With Extreme Prejudice: Vortex can assimilate technology into his own databases, upgrade them, and reproduce them. He can also design his own units from scratch.
  • Reverse Engineering For Fun and Profit: Like above, Vortex is able to quickly reverse engineer stolen recovered tech.
  • Escalation is the Name of the Game: Like other Commanders, Vortex's constructs tend to get more and more powerful as he acquires more tech.
  • Combined Consciousness: As an artificial intelligence construct, Vortex can control and command each of his units individually. His artificial nature also allows him to easily tap into computer networks and take over.
  • Metaknowledge: As someone from our reality (or the real world), Vortex has the knowledge of certain universes, though it is limited to only the ones he knows of, and even then, his prior knowledge is limited to what he is aware of.
Weapons/Equipment: As a Commander, Vortex's body isn't meant to be a frontline unit, but has several weapons on it.
  • Fabricator: A device mounted to Vortex's Commander body that sprays a constant stream of nanites that construct structures at a rapid rate.
  • Uber Cannon: A cannon that can fire a large beam of energy, though it takes a while to recharge. It can also fire less damaging projectiles at a slow but constant rate.
  • His Army: Vortex can build vast armies in minutes, and can control each unit individually.

Parasoul Renoir
__krieg_and_parasoul_skullgirls_drawn_by_lack__893c65bf15c675e40cf44841c8ffcfdf.png

'For my kingdom.'

Name: Parasoul Renoir

Other Names: Princess, Your Majesty, Sis (by Umbrella)

Gender: Female

Race: Human

Affiliation: Black Egrets

Appearance:
Height: 5' 10"
Weight: 156 lbs.
Measurements: 34DD-24-38

Personality: Parasoul, unlike her deceased father (who was a complete tyrant), is a firm, fair, wise, and diligent leader who vows to protect the kingdom with the Black Egrets by her side. Her childhood was centered around becoming a warrior that was worthy of her father's legacy. Underneath her serious personality is a noble leader who is thinking about what is best for her kingdom and her family. She attacks with grace, poise, and cunning to defeat her opponents and complete her missions. She prefers to take action over doing paperwork. Although she maintains a solemn demeanor, she tends to be furious whenever someone puts her loved ones in danger. For example, when Double and Valentine kidnapped Umbrella after realizing she has a unique bond with the Skullgirl, she was very determined to get her back.

When seeing the pain of others, Parasoul shows sorrow toward those who are suffering. This is evident during her quotes against Painwheel. She will notice her horrible disfigured body, saying to her "You poor girl... I never authorized this!". When she defeats Painwheel in battle, she will either apologize to her or states that "No one deserves this...", showing that Parasoul is a very caring leader and a kind ruler.

History: Few know the terrors of the Skullgirl as intimately as Parasoul does: seven years ago her own mother became the Skullgirl that nearly destroyed the world. This tragic past has made her fiercely protective of both her country and her family, and these two priorities frequently come into conflict. Parasoul is now the crown princess of the Canopy Kingdom and leader of its elite military squad, the Black Egrets. Wielding the living umbrella, Krieg, she fights with grace, poise and cunning to defend her family honor and destroy the Skull Heart so no one can repeat her mother’s terrible mistake.

Powers/Abilities: While having possessed no powers, her skill in her Living Weapon Krieg and her strategic intelligence can compensate this. She is also skilled in guns. She utilizes fencing in her main fighting style, though with the addition with some kicks and summoning her soldiers to battle. She also knows how to ride a motorcycle.

Weapons/Equipment: Krieg, an umbrella-shaped Living Weapon passed down throughout the Renoir family, currently wielded by Parasoul. Using its many eyes, it can shed Napalm Tears that can float in the air and can be detonated. In conjunction with this, she also has a Luger.

Vent

'I'll be a Mega Man that can protect everyone!"

Name: Vent

Other Names: E.g. The One They Fear, Anticitizen One, etc. Can also include nicknames.

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Affiliation: Guardians

Appearance: Vent is a young tall young man with long, brown hair and emerald green eyes. He had a mechanical headphone cap in place of a human's ear. He wears a blue jacket and white pants over a black skinsuit.

Personality:
Vent is quite kind and determined, but also reckless, hot-headed, and easily volatile. Because of his disposition, he got in trouble more often than not (such as his rapid change in attitude when someone talks about Slither Inc. or when he attacks Prometheus). He also possesses a desire to protect those around him, due to losing his mother right in front of his eyes, always saying, "I'll protect everyone!" or "Give me the power to protect everything!" He had a deep bond with and respect for Giro, calling him "boss" ("Senpai" in the Japanese version), having a sort of mentor-student relationship with him. According to Giro, he was a pain; having grown up as a lonely child, Vent seems to be always rude to the clients. When he is angry, Vent tends to be reckless, such as the time when he launched himself into battle to save the Guardians and Prairie, and at the same time merciless to some point (as is evident when he tells Purprill that, "Now there's nothing stopping me from taking you out!" after learning the latter's role in his losing his parents.); despite this, however, Vent tends to control his actions and ends up maturing with each battle.
History:
Vent

Powers/Abilities:
Sword Handling
Blaster Handling
Athletic Skills
Weapons/Equipment:
Biometals Model Z and Model X - Two small Mechanical Devices called Biometals that seems to have sentience of their own. Only Vent can hear them, but they can actively be seen floating around him whenever they communicate. Vent utilizes these Biometals to enact a protocall called 'Mega Merge', where the User and the Biometal become one, forming armor around the user and utilizing what's known as the MEGA system, thus, forming a MegaMan. Using Model Z and Model X gives rise to MegaMan Model ZX, the first dual Biometal Megaman to exist in his world. Here he gains a Laser Sword that boasts to cut through any metal. This Sword can turn into a hand blaster, which fires of hyperconcentrated plasma shots.

Shaddai Prejean

Other Names:
Shadman, The Controversial Artist

Gender:
Male

Race:
Human

Affiliation:
Founder of Shadbase

Appearance:
Shadman is 5'12" and just by a glance you notice that The Controversial Artist is kitted with a punkish attire drenched in black and white, covering a huge section of his body only revealing a few parts of his regular white skin. He has glasses that cover his eyes also modified suit and tie and jeans that is again, drenched in black and white as if he's trying to look intimidating giving him a gloomy, borderline goth look that kind of fits well with the guy's personality especially that strange face mask that just covers half of his face making it impossible to see his facial expressions, overall he looks like he's cosplaying some kind of character because of how other-wordly his fashion sense is.

Personality:
Despite his really, really sickening art and extremely crude sense of humor, Shadman is a pretty decent guy. He just likes to throw sociopathic jokes around for kicks but he's just a normal person trying to get by and have a good laugh, you might even consider him as a good pal if you hang out with him enough since he shows care to those who respect him or people he sees as comrades, he's confident and reasonable but kind of a dick to those who strike him as sensitive and frail and is a bit of a bully to them and will mock the kind of people that show too much weakness and vulnerability.

Shadman is the kind of guy who's the rebellious type, crossing the line is what he does and breaking taboos is his thing and he wants people to respect the fact that he's a risk-taker, a total madman of a person but he understands if people get offended by him, he kind of finds it funny every time he sees somebody lose their shit while ranting about him instead of minding their own business but he mostly doesn't care and only takes criticism to those he finds cool.

History:
Shadman does not have much information about his past other than he got arrested in Switzerland for drawing erotic art of underage characters and he's had a pretty tough life on the internet with people constantly bashing him and calling him a pedophile but this did not faze him and he quickly adapted to it and decided to use this to get more fame and notoriety, that's pretty much all we know about the guy. He does not give much information about himself, maybe he has more to him then he wants us to believe.

Powers/Abilities:
Powers? Shaddai is just a normal person trying to live life to the fullest but he does have a few pros up his sleeve like being a tricky guy with a resilient mind but other than a few pros, his body is just on par with the average human being, nothing really special about him other than his slightly high intelligence and charisma which he can use to lie and trick people and some good drawing skills.

. . . Okay, he does have one power. He can turn into a hulking, gigantic skeleton around 7'0" with his physical capabilities greatly increasing except the speed, he actually slows down but that simple side-effect does not stop him from being a worthy foe, but he can only use this form 10 minutes every 1 hour which means you can just try to survive for 10 minutes and he's all yours, there is no way he can fight back with his regular frail body other than a few tricks that will help him escape

Weapons/Equipment:

  • Notebook and Pen: Just a regular black notebook and pen so he can draw to pass some time, he might even get too into it and draw all day.
  • Pepper Spray: He brings this around in his pocket all the time in case some crazy fucking psycho notices him in public and attempts to attack him
  • Luger Pistol: This pistol of his is mostly just for show but it does have ammo even if its just a few and he knows how to use it, its also stored in his pocket
