Welcome to Rapture, a realm that has existed in the void between universe for countless eons. Originally inaccessible and completely cutoff from the rest of the multiverse, an event known as the Transition brought thousands of beings, entities, and even landmasses to the realm, translocated onto the once-barren worlds of the realm. Its new inhabitants began to form functioning societies in the years that followed since their arrival.

Rapture is a single solar system consisting of three planets: Exodus, Egress, and Diaspora.

EXODUS

  • Exodus is a planet located right in between Egress and Diaspora. It is a world that is not overly hostile, yet not overly peaceful. While hostile entities roam the planet, its residents also live in relative peace, and are mostly free do do as they please. The planet is home to a variety of powerful organisations which have managed to establish functioning governments. The planet's geology is very similar to Earth.

NORTH

  • A frigid and frozen region near Exodus' north pole.
  • This region houses the province of Skyrim (The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim), with the Civil War won in favour of the Imperials. The dragon population has generally made peace with the local population as a result of the Dragonborn's actions after the defeat of Alduin.
  • Next to Skyrim lies the small Himalayan country of Kyrat (Far Cry 4). Unlike the province it borders, Kyrat is embroiled in a state of civil war between the forces of the country's egomaniacal dictator Pagan Min and Golden Path rebels.
  • Further down is Chernarus (ArmA 2). This Eastern European post-Soviet country is heavily forested.
  • The Zone (S.T.A.L.K.E.R.) lies next to Chernarus. This area houses the ruins of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant and the city of Pripyat. Reality is warped and twisted in the Zone, with dangerous Anomalies that can either kill you or benefit you in some way scattered around, along with valuable Artifacts. Stalkers call this place their home.
  • The kingdoms of Hoshido and Nohr (Fire Emblem: Fates) are located in close proximity. Peace has been made between the two kingdoms after the conclusion of their war.
  • The newest arrival to the realm of Rapture, the Fortress-City of Naggarond (Warhammer Fantasy) sits on the treacherous cliffs towards the far east of this region. Home to the Dark Elves, the City of Cold is a massive fortress lined with a hundred towers, and its outer walls form an imposing circlet of black stone, in no place less than a hundred feet tall. It is ruled by the Witch-King Malekith.
  • Underneath much of the North is the Skaven Under-Empire (Warhammer Fantasy). This vast subterranean network of massive tunnels, populated solely by the humanoid rat-like race known as the Skaven. A loose confederation of smaller clan-based kingdoms that are only tied together by their utter belief in the Horned Rat, and the tyrannical ruling of the Council of Thirteen. Its capital city of Skavenblight sits at its very core, filled to the brim with ratmen.
  • The land between these locations is mostly barren, though there are several settlements in between, both inhabited and long-abandoned.
SOUTH

  • A forested region with a more tropical climate, though the areas past the equator are more temperate.
  • The Canopy Kingdom (Skullgirls) lies in this region. The vibrant and prosperous kingdom is a one of the many jewels of this land.
  • Bordering the Canopy Kingdom are the savanna plains of Amerish (PlanetSide 2). Formerly a site of constant and unending war, the forces of the Terran Republic, New Conglomerate, and Vanu Sovereignty have entered an uneasy truce since their arrival. This area is rich in the resource known as cortium, which is used by the ex-residents of Auraxis to rapidly construct structures via nanites.
  • The zombie-infested island paradise of Banoi (Dead Island) sits off the coast. The outbreak has mostly been contained thanks to joint efforts of Exodus' militaries, although it is still a long way from being the lush resort it once was.
  • Next to Banoi are the Rook Islands (Far Cry 3). These lush islands are infested with pirates and privateers, along with the deadly native wildlife. Pirates and privateers often venture into the oceans to kidnap civilians and hold them for ransom, if they are not killed by the hostile aquatic creatures first. The Rakyat Tribe lives on these islands, and fight the pirates.
  • Beneath the waves is the city of Rapture (BioShock). Not to be confused with the realm itself, this once-great underwater city is slowly falling apart, maintained by hostile Big Daddies. Crazed Splicers roam its hallways.
  • In the middle of the ocean, supported by a series of struts is Mother Base (Metal Gear Solid V). This offshore oil rig functions as the base of operations of the mercenary unit known as the Diamond Dogs.
EAST

  • An incredibly hostile region mainly consisting of deserts and dry plains.
  • The barren and rocky area known as the Dust (Borderlands 2) is located in this area. Roving gangs of bandits who race around in modified vehicles roam this area. The city-ship Sanctuary (Borderlands 2) hovers above this area.
  • Teufort (Team Fortress 2). This desert city is located right below the Dust. The conjoined bases of 2Fort have been built here. The current residents of the nine mercenaries of Team Fortress.
  • In the middle of the rolling dunes and sandstorms of the Eastern Desert are the ruins of Dubai (Spec Ops: The Line). The grand city home to many oil tycoons has been ravaged by sandstorms and is slowly getting buried underneath the sand. The Damned 33rd Infantry Battalion, the CIA, and Insurgents are at each other's throats trying to survive, with civilians caught in the crossfire.
  • Blood Gulch (Red vs Blue). These curious two identical bases in a box canyon in the middle of nowhere was once home to the Red and Blue Teams of Project Freelancer, but they have since left, leaving their homes (and pointless bickering) behind.
  • The wretched hive of scum and villainy known as Mos Eisley (Star Wars) is located here, a haven for criminals and undesirables alike. This lawless spaceport is a dangerous place indeed, but if you're looking to hire someone to do your dirty work or make some easy money, this is the place to go to.
  • The Wastelands (Fallout). Irradiated ruins of Boston, Washington D.C., and the Mojave demolished by nuclear armageddon, mutant creatures and hostile raiders wander the wastes, picking on honest wastelanders trying to make a living. This area is dominated by the Brotherhood of Steel, the Minutemen, the New California Republic, and Caesar's Legion.
  • The Headquarters (Planetary Annihilation) of Commander Vortex and his army. The location he landed in, his base has grown into a titanic fortress dedicated to the development, production, and deployment of his units. The base is absolutely lined with defenses, with thousands of turrets lining the perimeter, artillery cannons deeper inside, and energy walls keeping intruders out, with anti-nuke launchers protecting the base from nuclear strikes. Below lies a vast network of tunnels, while Anchor defence platforms stay in geosynchronous orbit. Hundreds of factories churn out an endless amount of troops on a daily basis, thanks to Vortex's nanofabrication technology.
  • A fair distance from the headquarters of the Vortex Syndicate is the Cheyenne Mountain (Terminator) complex, the main base of Skynet. The mountain has been hollowed out, reinforced and armoured. The cold, gleaming structure houses Skynet's Central Core Installation. Guarded around the clock by Phased Plasma Arrays and Terminator units, it is incredibly well-protected and nigh-impenetrable. Similar to Vortex, this facility churns out a countless number of troops, thanks to Skynet managing to capture and reverse-engineer Vortex's nanofabrication tech.
  • The area in between the two automated fortresses is a barren and empty wasteland, the battlefield of the war between the two mechanical armies. This area has the ruins of a city, now unrecognisable as its its buildings have been burnt to metal skeletons. Robotic war machines battle each other in an endless conflict. Plasma fire and explosions light up the battlefield at all times, and the sound of battle can be heard for miles.
WEST

  • By far the most developed region. Most of the intact, functioning, and populated cities were transitioned here.
  • The coastal city of Vale (RWBY) is located here. This large city is home to numerous Hunters and Huntresses, elite warriors with supernatural fighters dedicated to combating the creatures of darkness known as the Grimm that spawn in the surrounding forests. The combat school known as Beacon Academy is located not too far from here, and the giant floating Colosseum known as the Amity Colosseum floats above this location, host to the 40th Vytal Festival.
  • Off the coast lies Tatsumi Port Island. This small island houses several key points of interest such as Gekkoukan High School,
  • Not too far away from Vale is the unassuming town of Suburbia (Plants vs. Zombies). This small town has remained relatively unnoticed for some time.
  • Nearby is the city of Opportunity (Borderlands 2). This immaculate and almost perfect city built by Hyperion mostly to fuel its CEO Handsome Jack's ego may have been a shining utopia were it not for its generally oppressed citizens and brutal punishments for even the smallest crime.
  • The thinking, progressive city of Piltover (League of Legends) is located a fair distance away. This is where art, craftsmanship, trade and innovation walk hand in hand. This thriving city maintains a thriving and world-renowned trading port.
  • In contrast to the booming City of Progress, the economically-failing city of Steelport (Saints Row) is located not too far away. This heavily industrialised and polluted city has slowly fallen into the hands of the criminal organisation known as the Syndicate, their goal being the drive the Third Street Saints out of the city. The city has a large number of skyscrapers.
  • Close by is Dunwall (Dishonored). This industrial whaling city is heavily polluted and infested with the plague.
  • The floating city of Columbia (BioShock Infinite) hangs high above in the sky, shifting from place to place. This patriotic city may look like an American utopia, but it is hiding a darker side underneath its shining exterior. The city produces Vigors that give their users supernatural powers such as the ability to summon a murder of crows or shoot lightning out of their hands.
  • The Liberty Dome (Crysis 3) that covers the ruins of New York which are slowly being covered by vegetation is located here. Built by the private military contractor known as Crynet Enforcement & Local Logistics (C.E.L.L.), this giant dome serves to kill all remaining Ceph in the area. A micro-climate has formed, turning the interior of the dome into an urban rainforest. Inside are large collections of C.E.L.L. troops, wildlife from various dimensions, and surviving Ceph.
  • The Peninsula (The Forest) lies at the very bottom. This Boreal Forest is home to violent cannibals, horrific mutants, and more mundane wildlife. The abandoned Sahara Research Laboratory is located deep underground, where more mutants and ancient supernatural Obelisks.

ABOVE

  • Exodus' moon orbits the planet. On it is the Horizon Lunar Colony (Overwatch), overrun by intelligent gorillas.
  • Orbiting the moon is Helios (Borderlands 2), Hyperion's space station. This orbital installation is capable of launching weapons fire at the planet and deploying Loaders straight into battle.
  • A massive number of satellites orbits Exodus. The Vortex Syndicate operates a massive Shipyard capable of churning out large numbers of orbital units.

EGRESS

Far more peaceful, civilised, and built-up than Exodus, Egress is home to large number of governing entities who oversee the functions of not just the planet itself, but the whole of Rapture. While it is true that this planet is unified, its political climate is incredibly hostile. Egress is slightly smaller than Exodus and has a similar climate and geology, though land covers more area than water.

NORTH

  • Similar to Exodus' Northern regions, this area is frigid and cold.
  • The furthest up north is Echo Base (Star Wars). This fortified military installation has been carved into a glacier, with trenches lined with gun emplacements snaking through the snow outside, and a network of structurally-supported artificial corridors and natural caverns lining its insides. The base is protected by a shield generator, protecting it from orbital bombardments.
  • Not too far away is the icy continent of Easmir (PlanetSide 2). This area contains just fifteen small outposts scattered around the continent. Like Amerish back on Exodus, the three factions have formed a truce.
  • Far away from the frigid poles and towards the frozen tundra are the Misty Mountains (Lord of the Rings). This vast mountain range stretches all the way from the North to South of Egress, and this natural barrier shields the other side from the polar winds.
  • Towards the eastern reaches of the North is the continent of Westeros (Game of Thrones). This long continent stretches all the way from the North to South of Egress, and has a varied climate. This continent is home to numerous Houses.
  • Well-hidden in the moorlands and foothills of the Misty Mountains is the sheltered Elven town of Rivendell (Lord of the Rings). This picturesque settlement is located at the edge of a narrow gorge of the river Bruinen, which flows through the region.
  • Deep inside a snowy taiga is the Schnee Manor (RWBY), a massive palace of a home fit for the billionaire Schnee Family. While rather isolated, this structure is vast enough to be seen from the air.

SOUTH

  • A warmer and more forested region containing numerous forested areas.
  • Close to the equator is the port city of New Mombasa (Halo). This massive, cosmopolitan city functions as a centre for trade across the nations. It is also home to Egress' only working space elevator.
  • The Halidom of Ylisse (Fire Emblem). This peaceful and tranquil country lies towards the cooler region. While it disdains war and conflict, it maintains a small standing army.
  • Hyrule borders Ylisse and shares most of its land with its neighbour after it was transitioned. This beautiful and prosperous land is blessed with deep forests, tall mountains, vast lakes, a barren desert, great cities, villages, and many ancient temples hidden throughout.
  • Next to Hyrule is the Mushroom Kingdom (Super Mario Bros.). This land is filled with grassy plains and rolling hills, along with crystal-clear lakes.
  • Further down is the city of Zawame (Kamen Rider). This large city is very built-up and urbanised, the unmistakable figure of the Yggdrasil Tower looming taller than every other building.
  • Off the coast is the island nation of Altis (ArmA 3). This tiny island nation is home to several thousand people who live in scattered villages and small cities. Its climate consists of particularly strong winds and average temperatures, and mild winters with the occasional seasonal snowfall.

EAST
  • An arid area comprised of deserts and dry plains.
  • The Province of Hammerfell (The Elder Scrolls) takes up a large area of the East. This vast expanse is covered by vast mountain ranges, grasslands, and deserts. The desolate Alik'r Desert is one of Hammerfell's most well-known regions, taking up a large fraction of the province. The Redguards, a race of men known for being cunning warriors and skilled swordsmen originate from here.
  • A sizable portion of the isolated desert planet of Jakku (Star Wars) makes up the rest of the East. This area is filled woth rolling sand dunes and barren rock, along with various wrecks of long-abandoned structures and vehicles. The wreck of the Inflictor, a crashed Star Destroyer, is especially prominent, half-buried in the sand but stretching into the sky. Roving bandit gangs frequently roam the sands.

WEST
  • Generally more temperate and urban than the other regions, the West is the political centre for Egress.
  • The Federation of Osea (Ace Combat) takes up a large amount of the West's landmass. Large cities and settlements dot its landscape. This nation is a major political power with a large standing military famed for its significant air power.
  • The District Court of Osea's capital city of Oured is where justice is dished out a trials are taken. It is where many defense attorneys and prosecutors operate, and functions as the international court of justice for all of Egress.
  • The town of Springfield (The Simpsons) is located in Osea. This town is known as one of the worst in the nation, being heavily polluted and radioactive, due to its nuclear power plant having been built following more lax regulations.
  • The industrial city of Chicago (Crimson Skies) is located near the coast. Tall skyscrapers dot its skyline. This city is polluted with the fumes of heavy machinery, and zeppelins can be seen floating through the air.
  • The Jedi Temple (Star Wars), along with a large amount of the buildings surrounding it, was transitioned to the very heart of the West. Home to the Jedi Order, the Jedi work as peacekeepers and commanders, and hold significant political power.
  • The pristine and spotless but heavily monitored City of Glass (Mirror's Edge) can be found towards the east coast of the West. While appearing to be a shining utopia at first glance, one you get past its vibrant nightlife and shopping districts and notice its massive network of security cameras and law enforcement patrols, it is closer to a saccharine dystopia than anything else. The illegal courier group skilled in the art of parkour known as the Runners are headquartered here, operating across the entire region. They are a popular option of transport for private and sensitive documents and such across the city, being able to completely avoid the intrusion of the government regime.
  • Traverse Town (Kingdom Hearts) is located more towards the more rural areas. This Victorian-like settlement houses three districts: First, Second, and Third. It functions as a trading hub where visitors can purchase goods from a large number of stores.
  • Built in the middle of the ocean are the Cloning Facility (Star Wars) of Kamino. This facility produces a clone troopers for the former Grand Army of the Republic, grown from the genetic template of the late bounty hunter Jango Fett. The clone troopers grown in this facility mostly work as security personnel and guards for the cities of Egress, with most stationed around the Jedi Temple. Other than that, Kaminoan scientists provide much research from their labs.
ABOVE
  • The forest moon of Endor orbits the planet. Heavily forested and dotted with tall mountains and savannas, it is home to the primitive and adorable-looking but deceptively lethal Ewoks, having made settlements among the massive trees.
  • Titan City (Elite Dangerous) orbits the planet. This large space station offers a wide variety of good and services, along with the sale of spacecraft. Some of the highest-quality goods and tech can be purchased here.
  • Hephaestus Station (Endless Sky) is located in high orbit. Like Titan City, the station offers goods and services, and is home to the Syndicated Systems. Although not always the highest quality or most technologically advanced, ship outfits produced by the Syndicate are quite affordable and sufficient for any ordinary pilot's needs.
  • A large number of satellites orbits the planet, providing reliable communication services to the inhabitants of Egress.
  • Egress' defence fleet comprised of warships of various spacefaring factions such as the Galactic Republic, Citadel Council, and United Natiions Space Commands orbits the planet, protetcing it at all times.
BETWEEN EXODUS AND EGRESS
  • The colossal space station known as the Citadel (Mass Effect) lies in interplanetary space between the two worlds. This artificial installation serves as the capital of the Citadel Council, made up of a collection of races. It is home to several million people, and each of its arms, known as Wards, is a city by itself containing a breathable atmosphere. The Citadel functions as a trading port between Exodus and Egress, being easily accessible for those with access to spaceflight. It is rich with stores and merchants offering all kinds of goods and services and is rife with vibrant 'nightlife'. However, it also attracts illegal activity such as criminal gangs and mercenary organisations.

COMMANDER VORTEX
Vortex Syndicate Headquarters
Exodus East

It was the dawn of a remarkably peaceful day on Exodus. The sun was beginning to rise over the horizon of the Eastern Reaches, illuminating the sandy dunes as the sun's rays began to heat up the sand after a freezing cold night. The residents of the East were beginning to wake up, crawling out of makeshift shelters or patched-up ruins of buildings, and proceed with their morning routine. Given that the East was an incredibly hostile region and the area most populated by humans was the Wastelands. You know, the bombed-out ruins of Boston and Washington D.C., and the sparse but intact Mojave Desert. That meant that their daily routine was trying to survive or killing each other.

Of course, that was until the Commander arrived.

He staged a relief effort, sending in large numbers of his units, bringing supplies of all different kinds, from fresh food to medical aid, to raw materials. Along with that, he built refugee camps for wastelanders, protected from radiation and attacks, guarded by squads of troops. At first, the residents of the Wastelands were suspicious, sometimes outright hostile in the case of the Brotherhood of Steel as the prospect of an unknown organisation composed entirely of robots, but eventually began to trust him more and more, learning that he meant no harm to innocents and genuinely cared for the people. And so, the people became willing to trust him, eventually respecting him. Even factions which were slow to trust, like the Brotherhood of Steel.

Except Caesar's Legion. The Commander made sure they were eradicated. Not completely, just enough to send a message and severely diminish their numbers.

That was more than two months ago. The wasteland had gotten used to the sight of the Commander's mechanical legions patrolling the wastes.

Miles away, in his main base, Commander Spatial Vortex watched live feeds from surveillance drones and equipment from all around the world, his advanced supercomputer processing unit making it incredibly easy to watch and process more than a thousand different videos at once. He was doing his usual routine: micromanaging his units, seeing if there were any new arrivals, checking on the market share of the Visionik Technocorporation, catching up on the development of his units, and seeing how the war with Skynet was progressing. Everything was coming along smoothly for the past couple of days, and the Vortex Syndicate was as usual.

All around him, dozens of factories churned out massive streams of units, fabricators moved too and fro as they assisted with the production of those units, and his towering Commander chassis was stomping around, constructing new structures. Thousands of combat units stood guard alongside hundreds of automated sentry turrets as they diligently watched for any potential threats. To one side of the base were more than a dozen teleportation gate, all linked to another location, another base, another outpost. They allowed for the instantaneous transport of his units. Below, massive hydroponic farms growing vast amounts of genetically-engineered rapid-growing crops to be harvested and shipped out to the Wasteland.

A fair distance away a battle was waging between Syndicate Killbots and Skynet Terminators. The two robotic factions had been at war for the past few months, and their ability to adapt and escalate meant that they were effectively countering each other's tactics and weapons. That also meant that Vortex had reverse engineered Skynet tech such as plasma weapons and improved them, and Skynet had reversed engineered Syndicate nanofabrication technology, and so on. Only machines roamed the desolate battlefield, dedicated to wiping the other side out. Vortex had dedicated himself to destroying the genocidal A.I., but he was hesitant to go all-out, as that would have quite a lot of negative consequences, namely causing everyone to mistrust and fear him more than before.

Still, four months. He'd been here four months. Four months since he woke up in the body of a Commander, since he found out that fiction was real, since he realised that he was in a PA SI fic he loved reading. Unbelievable, normally. But he began with one single step, starting with building a metal extractor.

And he did what all Commanders do best: adapt and escalate.

CAPTAIN FALCON
Vale

It had been only a couple of months since the Transition took Douglas, yet he seemed pretty relaxed with it all. He had accepted what had happened to him - and, besides, it was only really the scenery that had changed. He was still who he was, and he was still able to help where he could. As long as he could fight in the name of justice, Captain Falcon was happy anywhere. At the moment, he was more relaxed than usual. The reason was simple - he was meditating. Most people did not know, but his abilities came from the Way of the Falcon - a special type of ki infused martial arts - that required inner balance to work. So, Douglas sat peacefully in his cramped living quarters aboard the Falcon Flyer. Just as he was beginning to feel his ki respond to his meditation, however, he heard a loud alarm blaring through the ship followed by the sounds of tiny thrusters on his metal floor.

Within moments of the alarm, AI sped up to where Douglas was sitting. "Captain! Vale is under attack! A large pack of the Grimm known as Beowulf have been sighted at the residential district!" Despite being little more than a piloting robot, there seemed to be a small amount of urgency in the mechanical, pre-recorded voice. "Get us there, then. Provide aerial support with the Flyer." As he spoke, Douglas stood up and grabbed his iconic red helmet. He didn't really need the helmet now that he was trapped on Exodus, with no racetrack long enough to accommodate for the Blue Falcon, but it was useful. The comm lines were still up, at least, so there was that. As he prepped himself for combat, by equipping his pauldron and donning his gloves, the Falcon Flyer lifted off from the small makeshift landing zone nearby to Vale in a plain under some mountains and sped towards the endangered city - shattering the sound barrier in the process.

As he approached the scene of the battle, he suddenly dashed to the exit cargo bay door to his ship and jumped out. This was a classic Captain Falcon move, though, so AI didn't seem that worried. "Be careful, Captain!" The robot shouted after him, as it began to power up the Flyer's weapon systems. During his fall, Douglas saw small green blasts come from the bounty hunter's ship and bombard a group of the assaulting beasts. With a grin, he shouted - at no-one in particular - as his foot began to ignite with powerful fiery ki. "Falcon Kick!" He sped towards the ground, far faster than terminal velocity would allow, and landed explosively with the ground sending rubble and pavement scattering in all directions. There were still a few gasps from the public at his arrival (nowhere near as many as the first time he ever set foot in Vale about two months ago, of course), but at this point Vale knew who he was and that he was a valuable ally to the Hunters. Only a few Hunters had made it to the scene on time, since most don't have access to intergalactic spaceships, so it was up to Douglas to lead the first assault. Which he was fine with.

He rose slowly, assessing the situation with his keen eyes, before running in to beat up the first Beowulf he could see. It was safe to say it was quite a one sided fight.

Parasoul Renoir
-Canopy Kingdom-

The sun rises over the beautiful metropolis that is the Canopy Kingdom, run by the princess Parasoul. Within her kingdom is the Glass Canopy, a castle where she resides, as well as the place of power. When the sunlight entered her bedroom windows, she wakes up with a quiet yawn as the rays kissed her fair face. Off from her royal bed, she then hears a couple of knocks on the door. "Your Highness, breakfast is ready." A maiden spoke through the wooden door of Parasoul's bedroom. "I'll be there, thank you." She responds and then she goes into her bathroom to have herself prepared for a busy day as per usual.

A few minutes passed and Parasoul is now set for her day. She exits her bedroom and walks down the elegant halls of her castle to reach her destination; the dinning room. Another few minutes have passed and the princess has made her appearance. A very long table is presented and on top of its surface is the amount of breakfast food, not too little, not too much. After being greeted by her servants, she goes up to one end of the table and sat down. On the other end of the table is her little sister; Umbrella. "Good morning sis!" She says with a bright smile on her face while she gobbles down the amount of food she gets. "Good morning to you too as well, Umbrella." Parasoul responded before beginning her feast.

While the sisters are feasting, Umbrella begins to ask "So...I was thinking; if Banoi is free from zombies, can we take a vacation in there? I want to take a really big dip after all this heat." Parasoul paused for a moment before looking at her little sister and say "I'm sorry, but the island is far from being free from zombies. But rest assured that once that crisis is over, we may take a vacation on there." Umbrella slumped back, disappointed by this news. Parasoul then added "Don't worry, we are putting all of our efforts into recovering the island, just you wait." A couple of minutes in and the sisters are done with their breakfast. "Hey, sis..." Umbrella says "You'll be going to that camp again?" Parasoul looks down at her and replied "You know me, Umbrella. I always want to make sure that my military's performance is on top condition. No slacking, no cowering." She turns away from her sister and then she walks away, leaving her all alone with her servants.

Josuke Higashikata
-Tatsumi Port Island-

It has been months since the worlds have been transitioned, but not his own. Josuke has been living in peace alone in an apartment complex within the Japanese port town. At least this place would reminisce him of Morioh Town. He was sleeping finely in his bed until his alarm clock begins to sound, prompting him to press the snooze but to get some more sleep, only for him to realize that he has school today. He quickly jumps off his bed and rush into the bathroom to get a very quick shower. Afterwards, he gets out of the room and goes down to the kitchen to cook breakfast. It ain't easy being the only person in the house. After whipping up his breakfast and eats it, Josuke grabs his things and goes out of the apartment to make a rush to Gekkoukan High School. This is where he is currently studying, and as for fees, well, he basically steals money by his Stand. What else can he do?

After a few number of rides, he makes it to the school just before the bell rings. He enters the premises and walks down the path like the average student he is, although in a very flashy school uniform. He few minutes passed and Josuke enters his classroom. He gets to his seat and sits down. He settles his belongings and looks out of the window to see how beautiful the town is. "This place may not look the same, but at least it has some similarities." Josuke thought.

Meanwhile in Columbia...
2B-

She cut the thrusters to her flight unit finally touching down on the paved streets of Colombus.2B glared at her GPS "wow I am really lost!" she barely remembers her orders from the base"what was it again?Find new information on these series of planets, was it?.she dismissed her flight unit and set off wandering the streets. Its been several days since the people back at the Bunker had discovered this place although originally she was part of an expedition team of 10 although most of which had been destroyed from flying too low when they were passing over the East." idiots, all of them, for leaving me alone with backup around 4 months away.Stupid robots and their cannons.first things first I need to find someplace to stay" she looks at the local citizens "great.they remind me of those kids that would go to a private school, stuck up fools" she walks slowly down to a shopping plaza snooping around the shops "hopefully I can find some information here".Turning into a store she sees several bottles lined up "Vi...gours? What the hell is a vigour?" she asked the lady crudely. The lady scoffed at her"don't you know dearie?" she chortles briefly "a vigour is a drug that gives humans the abilities of gods and if you like ill give you one for the low low price of 100 silver eagles" "ill pass, thanks" 2B hurries out of the shop and into the street where a man that is grinding on some railings is fighting with another man who seems to be at least part machine unfortunatly for 2B there were two and the second one was charging straight at her.

Alpha and Bravo
Location: The Dust

"I HAVE A SHINIEST MEAT BICYCLE!!"
*SPLAT*
It was your typical day in the wastelands, bandits were roaming about, prying on people who did or did not have guns, you know, being your typical scummy, low-life bandits and all.
Today, they picked on the wrong group of people with guns.
"SON OF A BI***!" That man over there, with the yellow mask, cocking his shotgun as he took cover, that man's name is Bravo; and he can be a little antsy at times, especially when he's getting shot. "WHO THE HELL ARE THESE GUYS!?"
"How the hell should I know?" The other one? His name's Alpha. He's the calmer on the two, you could see that they way he's talking, as well as the way he's popping out of cover to open up on the bandits.
You see, the two had signed up for another mission for T.W.O after the entire Mexico debacle, which entailed operations against a terrorist cell somewhere in Eastern Europe. It was no suprise that the both of them were able to take care of the terrorist cell, what was suprising was when the two vanished after the main terroist facility was destroyed.
Least, this was surpising to those on the outside.
What happened on the inside? Well, the only thing both Alpha and Bravo saw was a bright flash, and the next thing they knew, they were falling.
Didn't take long for the two to land, stright into what seemed the side of a desert, which, surprisingly, did not hurt as much as they thought.
It was then the locals decided to come out and introduce themselves, and that's where the two found themselves today: hiding behind a rock as a bunch of psychos that were screaming about murdering them and taking their stuff...while trying to murder them and taking their stuff...also, meat bicycles.
Alpha was currently returning firing, managing to hit one of their attackers in the process, before taking cover as another hail of gunfire assaulted their position.
"Dammit"
There was about five individuals who had tried to kill Alpha and Bravo, three of them were dead: A half-naked man who was on the ground with multiple wholes through him, another dead man slumped over in the technical's gunner seat that the bandits had arrived in, and the individual standing in the open that Alpha had shot in the head multiple times. The other two were taking cover behind the technical, and were now firing at Alpha's and Bravo's position.
"Got any ideas!?"
"One! Go around and flank them! I'll cover you."
"That sounds like a shitty plan!"
"You got any better ideas!?..."
Alpha said, quickly reloading as the assault rifle as the bullets ricocheted off the rock. The bandits suddenly stopped firing, loudly announcing that they were dry and needed to reload.
Now!
Alpha
leaned out of cover, taking aim at the bandits as Bravo leaped over the rock and quickly sprinted for the technical.
A bandit with a pistol tried to peer out of cover to see what was going, but was hammered by gunfire from Alpha and quickly went back into cover.
Bravo on the other hand was able to make it to the technical, sliding into cover at the rear of the truck, he quickly moved to the opposite edge of the rear of the truck, peering over.
The other remaining bandit was just jamming his last clip into what appeared to be his SMG and was just looking up, just in time to see Bravo raise his shotgun at him and
*BAM*
Sent him flying backwards, filled with lead.
The remaining bandit with a pistol quickly began to back away, trying to put some distance between him and Bravo, and backed stright out of his cover...
*SPLAT**SPLAT*
Bravo watched as two bullets penetrated the bandit's skull, causing him to collapse dead.
Letting out a sigh of relief, Bravo cocked his shotgun, watching as the shell fell to the sand below.
Bravo moved to the other side of the technical to see Alpha moving towards him.
"You alright?"
"Still breathing..." Bravo said, before turning his head about to take in the scenery, a moment later turning his body around to take it all in, his jaw had dropped behind his mask.
borderlands_2___the_dust__by_cyndaart-d7wlrr6.jpg
"Where...W-Where the hell are we?"
"No clue..."
Alpha said, looking over to the corpses currently bleeding all over the sand, before moving over to search them.
Bravo was still taking in the scenery, trying to make sense of it all.
The one one thing that caught his attention was...a floating H in the sky?
images
"Uh...Alpha..."Bravo said, slowly backing up, but kept his eyes glued on the space station and the...moon?
"What?"
Alpha
said, getting up from where he was and walking over to his partner.
"...You might wanna see this..."
Noticing his partner was staring at somthing, before turning his head to look at the same...floating H in the sky.
"The hell?..."
"...We're not in Kansas anymore..." Bravo said, looking over to his partner. "...Did you find anything useful?"
"Aside from some bills and some weird looking ammo..." Alpha said as also looked at his partner. "...nothing; no identifications or any sort of indication of where we are."
"Greeeat..." Bravo huffed, looking back up at the floating H in the sky. "...what now?"
"I guess..." Alpha said, also looking back up at the floating H in the sky. "...we look around...find someone who isn't trying to kill us...and then ask them...What the hell is going on...problem is..."
Alpha looked down, staring ahead at the sand dunes and various rocky terrain.
"...it's going to be a looong walk..."
"Who said anything about walking?..."
Bravo said, backing up and pounding the back of the bandit technical. "...they ain't going to be needing it."
Alpha
smirked under his mask.
"Awesome."
tenor-gif.435842

Alpha moved for the drivers seat while Bravo moved over to the side where the turret of the technical was located.
Alpha climbed into the truck and started the ignition, while Bravo was pulling out the dead bandit in the turret and then climbing in himself.
"Ready?"
"Hang on a sec..."
Bravo said, trying to get his bearings on the controls of the turret. "...yeah..."
"Let's do this."

Inventory: Nothing but the keys to his late-boss' Hyperion Bolt 4600 S

A yellow and white color-schemed metal box was fired from outer space (within the location of Helios, to be exact) in which was going at around the speed of a plane in "cruise" (around 110 knots = ) and once it came into the orbit, the speed could be said that it was increased to 125 kts or more (144+ M.P.H.) and then fully decreased to the average freeway speeds (65 M.P.H.) in which the metal box decided to tear apart and have our Hyperion worker in control of the car, this means stepping on the gas first, then the clutch and shifting into gear, let's just say that our employee had landed in the outskirts of the city of Opportunity [where we dropping bois} This municipality could be seen as the perfect place to live on, if it weren't for the classical "Death to litterers and verbal-littering people" kind of bullshit and just to fulfill with another of the late CEOs of the company known as Handsome Jack... I mean sure, he could've landed on somewhere else like Prosperity Junction or Sanctuary, but the odds of death to him for being a member of the Hyperion Corporation were obviously from 0 - 100 in the nick of time.
"Well, I hope I ain't getting killed by some people who have a hideous face or no face" Rhys shrieked and tried not to puke remembering that he had Vasquez's (his "former" dead arch-nemesis) face skin for a moment there as he talked to himself, not knowing of what the HECK could go down at any given point of time "Why did I mention that?"

Sure enough, it may not be creepy, or it perhaps is, who knows or who would be concerned about that? ugh, where was I [flipping pages] ah yes, ehem; Rhys decided to park the car at the nearest spot and take a stroll around what would then become "The perfect city for everyone" to even find someone who he could recognize from his own workplace or anyone new he can try interacting with.
And that's how the story of how someone who's trying to forget he had a holographic version of his corporate megalomaniac boss in his brains begin

TIME: APPROXIMATELY NOON

"Urrrgh," an adolescent inkling groaned as she awoke. But it wasn't quite the warm and cozy bed she had gone to sleep in. In fact, it was quite the opposite. She found herself shivering in the intense cold, while the familiar hum of cityfolk was mysteriously absent.
"Callie, turn off the AC!" she complained loudly, internally confused by the situation, "Hello? Callie? Did you hear me?"

No response?

She tried opening her eyes, but obviously the morning light was much too intense for her wildly dilated pupils- Oww! Something had flown into her eyes. That's... peculiar. Shielding her eyes this time, she managed to crack them open. She began shivering more as the world resolved itself into a harsh wintry wasteland. The inkling was having serious trouble understanding what was going on. Where was she? Where was Callie? Were the others okay? "CALLIE?" she tried one more time...

No response.

Her throat choked up a little. Where was she? Where did all this cold come from? She had to reach shelter fast, before the cold started affecting more than just the protective coating of ink she was wearing. Standing up, she tried to get a bearing on her surroundings. She reached to feel on her back, and felt somewhat safer, knowing both her ink tank and the Hero's Charger miraculously followed her to wherever she was now. She heard an ominous crack, and looked down. The inky outer layer had frozen, and standing up began to break it apart. She'd better find shelter from this fatal cold very quickly.

Thankfully, there happened to be some kind of abandoned shed just... out here. But she wasn't complaining. She quickly huddled inside, pulling the ajar door shut behind her, and using snow to plug the remaining holes.

Now that the immediate danger was staved off for a little while, she just had to figure out how to get out of this frozen wasteland. Rubbing her hands together, she could create a little bit of heat. But without any wood or flint, she couldn't start a fire. And a fire would cause a breathing hazard very quickly in this enclosed space.

She took a shaky breath, and exhaled. She could see her breath, which meant it was still relatively dangerously cold, for an inkling. She decided, one more time, to call out. Opening the door, Marie shouted, "HELLO? CALLIE? ANYONE?"

...

No response.

Luariëeccaira

Luariëecaira had been traveling home when it happened. She had just made it to the Withywindle, and was camping there by the river for the night. When she awoke the next morning, she was not in her camp. She was wrapped up in a bedroll in a desert like area. None of this was okay. She couldn't see any bodies of water near her, which was just excellent.
Luckily she kept her knapsack in the bedroll with her or she wouldn't have any supplies.
It seemed there were no people near her, which she supposed was a good thing. Who knew what kind of people inhabited this area.
She had heard of people suddenly disappearing, and it would seem that she was now one of them. Lauriëecaira scrambled out of her bedroll, grabbing her knapsack and blade out of it before hurriedly removing her cloak from the knapsack and packing away her bedroll. She fastened the cloak around her and put the hood up before strapping her sword to her side. While she was confused and slightly afraid, she realized that she couldn't just stay in one area forever. That was like asking to be ambushed.
She set off, trekking silently towards an unknown destination, fully alert. Her first priority should be to figure out exactly where she was, and then how to get to an area with more bodies of water. She had no qualms about traveling, but it was a bad idea for her to be away from water for a long period of time. Not to mention there wasn't much plant life around here, either. Her magic was basically useless here, although she supposed she could grow some things. Still.
After walking for a relatively short period of time, she heard a strange sound that was a bit like roaring in the distance. It made the ground rumble. She turned around and her eyes widened as she saw a large...thing...moving in her direction at a high speed. It was an earth-shaker, or at least that was what she was gonna call it. There appeared to be two masked...she assumed men, within the truck. There was yet another large...thing only this was in the air. Luariëeccaira's hand found her blade before she decided that there was no point. What could she do against those things?! She immediately turned and ran, her cloak billowing out behind her.
What kind of place had she ended up in?! It was terrifying!

This was actually pretty fun, if it wasn't for the fact that they had been seemingly dumped out in the middle of nowhere, Alpha and Bravo might have been able to fully enjoy speeding through the desert.
Of course, there was one thought that lingered in both of their heads that prevented them from doing so:
Where the hell were they!?
"Alpha, you see that!?"

After a bit of driving, Bravo seemed to have spotted somthing and was now pointing at it, which caused Alpha to squint a bit at what he was pointing at.
It seemed to be a lone figure with...a blue cloak? Out in the desert?
"You seeing that!?"
"Yeah!"
"Should we go check it out!?"
"I dunno! It might be dangerous!"
"Yeah, but we got this."
Bravo
patted the machine gun that was currently mounted next to him.
"Alright, let's go check it out."
The bandit technical roared over another sand dune, speeding directly towards the cloaked individual, who seemed to have turned around and spotted them; no big surprise there, they were an obvious target, considering the noise of the engine and the fact they were surrounded by nothing but jagged rocks and sand.
Thing was, she started running...really fast, after she turned around and saw them.
"She's trying to run!"
"Well, go after her!"
"That didn't sound rapy at all!"
"You know what I meant!"
Bravo
held onto the frame of where he sat as Alpha was closing the distance between them and the mysterious figure. Instead of running her over (like some maniacs would have) Alpha drove stright passed her, turning the wheel quickly, as he brought the truck sliding to it's side, blocking the clocked figure's path.
Alpha opened the door, before leaning out, using his right hand to grip onto the frame of the technical as he leaned out of the truck, looking directly at the clocked...women?
"Hey! You! Hold on there!"

COMMANDER VORTEX
The Dust
Exodus East

The sound of a Kestrel Gunship's multiple engines rang through the barren sands of the Dust, its signature roar unmistakable. It was soon followed by the appearance of the aircraft itself, emerging from a large and jagged rock formation. Its engines each produced a stream of blue fire, matching its double blue and grey colour scheme. Its metallic body shone in the sunlight, though it was clearly worn and slightly damaged. The gunship, like many others operating in the area, was tasked by the Commander with hunting down and expunge (read: kill) hostile bandits. They were incredibly effective, as the gunship was tough and durable yet cheap and fast. That made them ideal for fast gunships able to loiter around AOs. Its dual plasma cannons were able to reduce any lightly-armoured vehicle to scrap and molten slag in a few shots.

The gunship had just expunged a group of relatively well-armed bandits and was on its merry way when it detected another technical speeding through the badlands. Having rather simplistic artificial intelligence and the orders to expunge any bandit it could detect with extreme prejudice, it quickly closed the distance, its plasma cannons warming up as it closed in for the kill, tailing the armoured offroad vehicle.

She heard and felt the earth-shaker speeding behind her causing her to run even faster, but it was to no avail. She was incredibly panicked as the earth-shaker came to a stop directly in front of her, blocking her path. She swiftly withdrew her sword and pointed it at the masked man who leaned out of the car, still not lowering the hood of her cloak.
"Who are you? What is that...thing that carries you? And why do you chase me?" Her voice was mostly even but there was a trace of panic that she was clearly trying to hide. She wasn't holding the blade close enough to touch him without her taking a few paces forward, so it was clear that she didn't actually intend to fight them. t as more so a warning not to come any closer.
Ordinarily she wouldn't be so openly hostile towards strangers, but she was absolutely terrified. She had no clue where she was or how she got there, and people in masks had chased her in a metal monster.
It was then that she heard yet another monster, and she turned her head with wide eyes. This metal beast was flying.
"What in the Valors' name is that?!"

The moment the women reached for somthing on her belt was the moment Bravo directed the barrel of machine gun turret at her.
"Woah! Woah! Woah! Hold on Bravo!"
Alpha yelled, swinging himself in-between the women and the machine gun.
"But she's got a!...sword?..."
Bravo trailed off from his sentence, staring at the women holding what looked to him like a medieval sword that looked like it belonged in the Lord of the Rings movie then out here in a waste land!
"Who are you? What is that...thing that carries you? And why do you chase me?"
The women yelled at them, sword still pointed directly at Alpha.
Alpha and Bravo looked at each other for a moment, before turning their attention back to the women.
"Um...my name is Alpha..." Alpha said, lifting his mask to reveal a human face. Bravo did the same as Alpha thumbed at him. "...This here is Bravo, and we're...in a truck...tr-u-ck..."
"Actually, I think this kind of truck is called a technical."
"Whatever! Look, we just wanted to ask you what the hell is go-"
"Uh, Alpha...you might wanna look up..."
Bravo said, tapping his partner's shoulder as he pointed at somthing...loud.
Alpha looked up to see some sort of high tech flying vehicle in the air...heading stright towards them...
"What in the Valors' name is that?!"
"We're just as clueless here as you are, lady."
"Oh, for the love of...maybe it's friendly."
As the ship approached there was a clearly bright light that seemed to illuminate from a tube that looked very much like cannon.
"I don't think it's friendly."
"You think!?"

Alpha turned to shout at Bravo, who just shrugged. Alpha groaned, as he flipped down his mask, Bravo did the same.
"Lady, no time to talk! Get in the back!"
Alpha yelled, thumbing the back of the technical as he swung back into the drivers seat.
Bravo, meanwhile, was bringing the turret's gun to bear, focusing on the incoming vehicle, but he was yet to fire.
"Don't shoot unless we know for sure they're hostile!"
"Might be a bit too late when that happens!"

He looked really out of place but i want to go to salvage the remains of the force that crashed into the dust.Hmm, what to choose" she called her flight unit and got into it " Alright I better set a marker this time so I don't end up like 9S" She finally set off for vale heading there at Mach 3.

Luariëeccaira

Luariëeccaira watched the two men's interaction with a raised eyebrow before she found herself smiling slightly. They were funny. 'Alpha...and Bravo? They are...human...but with such strange names.'
Of course their interaction was interrupted by the metal beast chasing them. After weighing her options Luariëeccaira jumped in the...truck. They didn't seem to mean her any harm. She had made the split decision to trust them. As she took a seat she sheathed her sword.
"You have my gratitude." She said in a panicked tone. She wasn't overly excited to be in the "truck" but it was the only option at the moment.
"Do you think it will respond to speech?" She asked the men who at least must have had a better understanding of these things than she.
She needed to calm her mind. She had to stop panicking. She was of no use to anyone in her current state. She closed her eyes and endeavored to calm her racing thoughts.

As the Kestrel continued to close the distance, its plasma cannons were primed and ready. However, before it could fire, it received weapons fire from up ahead. Scanning for the assailant, the Kestrel's advanced sensors detected a group of four Technicals, several bikes, and a pair of buzzards. Pritorising them as a greater threat, it disengaged and overtook the Technical operated by the two mercenaries. It sped forwards, towards the priority threats.

The bandits made the first move, with the vehicles attacking with small arms fire. The fired munitions only seemed to scratch the Kestrel's progenium armour. In retaliation, the gunship opened up with its twin-barrelled plasma cannons. Streams of blue-white plasma thousands of degrees hot. The bolts of excited molecules melted through the armour of the Technicals like they were nothing and ruptured vital components, and igniting fuel, causing the vehicles to explode in a violent fireball.

Within the span of just a few seconds, every bike and three out of four Technicals had been reduced to burning and broken husks. The last Technical had been damaged to the point of no repair.

Above, the Buzzards launched their missiles at the Kestrel, which was currently sweeping by. The homing missiles detonated once they were close enough. This time, the explosive weapons seemed to do much more damage, blowing several chunks out of the Kestrel's body, though the damage was rather minor.

Soaring past, the Kestrels three turrets suddenly swivelled around and fired. The plasma bolts promptly swatted the Buzzards out of the sky utterly demolishing them. The debris rained down as the Kestrel turned back, now heading towards the hijacked Technical, and opened fire.

Alpha and Bravo
Location:
The Dust
To both Alpha and Bravo's sunrise, the flying vehicle up in the air zoomed passed them from up above...and started open firing on a convoy of people that looked like the psychos from earlier...and it's fire power was...deadly, to say the least.
"Phew, that was a close one..."
"You could say that again." Alpha said, as he watched the Kestrel absolute obliterate the incoming bandit convoy. "Looked like they were friendly after all..."
The moment he said that, the airships turned back around, and started flying in their direction, but this time...they actually did open fire.
"Not friendly! Not friendly!'
"Shit! Hang on!"
Alpha
slammed his foot on the accelerator and the technical lurched forward in a roar, just in time to get clear of an incoming plasma round.
At this point, it was pretty safe to say that they were not exactly friendly, as the three of them were now fleeing from the flying death machine.
Alpha at the wheel was performing evasive maneuvers, driving in a unpredictable zigzag patterns in an attempt to dodge the incoming fire.
Bravo on the other hand was now opening up on the Kestrels with the machine gun turret, but like the bandits that tried before, it seemed that they were hardly putting a dent in it.
"F**k! This piece of crap ain't even denting those damn things!"
"Shit! I know!"
Alpha
was just swerving out of the way of another plasma round when suddenly he noticed some buildings in the distance...somthing taking off.
Then he had an idea.
"Hang on!"
With that, he made a sharp swerved to the left, flying over another sand dune, heading stright towards the buildings.
"What are you doing!?"
"A bad idea!"
Alpha
continued to take evasive maneuvers, some how manage to dodge the hail of plasma rounds leveled against them.
As they approched the buildings, dozens of more figures seemingly took off from the buildings, and they seemed to be flying stright at the three run aways.
Upon closer inspection, it was a few squadrons of bandit Buzzards and badass bandit buzzards, and they seemed ready for the Kestrels... like this was a planned ambush or somthing.
"BOOGIE ON THE RADAR, BOYS! LET'S SMOKE THESE ANTS!"
The lead badass yelled, rallying a collection of hoots and hollers, as well as the insane ramblings and manic yelling.
The bandits flew stright at the Kestrel, flying over the technician as if it wasn't there, firing away with their gatling guns and missile launchers while the passengers of the Buzzards fired off their weapons as well.
Truth be told, Alpha didn't know how long those pieces of scrap would last against the flying monstrosity, but he did know they would at least by the three of them enough time to get the hell away.
They would have too, had someone not parked their car in the middle of their path.
Alpha saw this all too late as he tried to swerve out of the way, but the technical collided with the car so hard that it flipped. Had the technical not been an open topped vehicles, it probably would have crushed the three passengers. Instead, it threw the three of them out on the sand on first flip, before flipping a couple more of times before flipping to a stop, on it's head.
A moment after they were thrown out of the vehicles, Alpha and Bravo began to pick themselves up.
"What the hell happened!?"
"I don't know..."
Alpha said as he pushed himself up, before grabbing his rifle that was a few inches away from him, before looking around for the cause of the flip.
Meanwhile, Bravo had also pushed himself up, but he was looking around for the lady that had been riding with them.
Spotting her a bit ways, Bravo pushed himself up and ran over to her. Taking a knee next to her, he first checked her pulse at her neck, before placing a hand on her shoulder and shaking her gently.
"Hey, sleeping beauty, time to wake up... or else we're going to get blown to bits."

Lauriëeccaira had been calming herself throughout the entire hectic car ride before she was jolted from her reverie by it flipping. Her eyes had opened briefly from the shock before she closed them again in anticipation. She felt the hood of her cloak fall off her head, actually revealing her features.
Under normal circumstances she would have endeavored to land somewhat gracefully, but in this circumstance it was almost like being tossed by a large beast. After she landed on the ground, hard, she gasped for breath. She swiftly got her breathing under control, and was trying to chill out when one of the men approached her and began shaking her in an attempt to wake her.
Her eyes snapped open. "I was not asleep...Im will ú oiale ceri i-ad." (I will not ever do that again.) That being said she quickly stood up despite the fact that her body screamed in protest. She probably should have had some injuries but she was nothing if not durable.
She glanced around, swiftly spotting the truck that they had been in before, completely destroyed. They had crashed into another truck.
"I'm afraid that I'm completely useless in the desert." She said with a frown. "Unless you would like to hide in the ground I suggest we all run." Luariëeccara informed them. She would have to make sure to keep pace with them. It seemed like in this land they were more capable than she.

No? Really? No response?

Great.

Marie's survival instincts slowly kicked into action, trying desperately to save her from a frozen grave. But where to go? How to warm up? She could scarcely leave the shed for fear of her ink coat freezing solid. Perhaps the bast plan of action was to try to make her way south, to a more livable climate. But that could take months, and in the mean time she would surely freeze solid at some point.

And what then? Would anyone care enough to take her quasi-corpse and heat it until she could move again? Would anyone think of doing that?

Right right, plan of action. She thought long and hard, finally deciding to bundle up with the limited supplies here, and try to find some kind of civilization outside of this worn-down shed. Marie sifted through the dirt and grime, and eventually found some materials she could use to keep herself relatively warm in the harsh blizzard outside.

Wrapping herself in old cloth, she looked scarcely like the pop-star she was just before she had awoken here. Instead, she looked more like a vagabond. Hey, at least she had a weapon. An ink-based one.

Stepping outside, Marie could instantly feel the effect of the new clothing diminishing the cold of the snow. She might also have to consider getting out of here to avoid "taking water" as well. A particularly strong draft blasted through the immediate area, threatening to tear her new rags clean from her grasp, but she soldiered on. She decided she might as well continue calling out, perhaps the powerful wind would carry her voice far and wide, "CAN ANYONE HEAR ME?"

Alpha
said from his standing position, as he turned around, watching the chaos in the air unfold in the background, before looking down at the lady and Bravo getting up.
"There's a couple of buildings that are a few clicks from here; if we run, we might just be able take shelter in one of those buildings, or find somthing that can bring that bird down."
"Are you nuts? That place is probably crawling with crazies!"
"Ya? At least we can hurt them."
To prove his point, Alpha raised his rifle and cocked it.
"Fair enough."
"Alright..."
Alpha nodded to Bravo, before looking over to the lady. "Think you can keep up with us? Things are about to get extremely hairy in a couple of minutes...we just don't want you getting killed."

--Ruby Rose // Banjo Ryuga--
Skyrim, Freezing Tundra.
Ferociousfeind Ferociousfeind

It's been around a few days since Ruby found herself in this freezing climate. Her only company is an older man who seems to remind her of Yang, clad in a blue jacket and a red flannel wrapped around his waist. His name was Ryuga Banjo...She just calls him Banjo since his first name was hard to pronounce.

The two were walking on the tundra when Ruby noticed how calmly Banjo was taking it along with his pet Mechanical Dragon box while shaking a small, charcoal looking bottle.

"B-B-Banjo, a-aren't you..." Ruby sniffed as she rubbed her shoulders due to the cold. "C-c-cold?"

"Nope. Not this time." Ryuga shrugged as he continued shaking the bottle. "I have my heater right here."

"A B-b-b-bottle?" Ruby asked in a confused manner, "I-is the heater shaped like that?"

"What, no! The bottle just heats up when you shake it." Ryuga explained as he tossed the bottle at Ruby. "Here, you try it."

Ruby managed to catch the bottle. All the heat that has been produced due to Ryuga's shaking was passed onto her palm, and naturally, it was as warm as a bonfire.

"It's so waaarrmmm~..." Ruby sighed in relief, letting out a warm and content smile as she shook the bottle a few times with her other hand. "It's like I'm having a mini-campfire in my hands~."

"Oh, trust me girl, it's MUCH hotter than that when you get to use it's full power." Ryuga chuckled as the Dragon box perks up.

The two hears a muffled scream in the distance.

"D...Did you hear that?" Ruby asked Ryuga as they both stop in their tracks.

"I think...It's something..." Ryuga gulped as the Dragon box enters Ryuga's jacket and takes the Dragon Bottle away in it's mouth. "Wha-?! Hey!" Ryuga called out as the Dragon Box dashed ahead of them before Ruby can react. "Get back here, you damn box!" Ryuga chased after the sentient machine box dragon with Ruby following closely behind, still enjoying the warmth of the charred Magma bottle.

The Dragon Box found the source of the earlier scream, a strange, squid creature wrapped in a blanket. Appearing to be freezing to death. The Dragon box flew around the freezing squid as if to analyze her. It's programming concluded that she wasn't a threat.

"GROOOAR!" The Dragon Box's high pitched grunt as it tossed thr blue Dragon Bottle up to it's spine, slotting it in. "Cross Flame!" A random person's voice can be heard from the box as it spat out a large blue flame in front of the shed the squid was staying, acting as a pseudo bonfire. "GROOOAR!" The Dragonbox's high pitched roar as it flew around the fire. As if inviting the Squid to warm herself.

Luariëeccaira

Luariëeccaira looked over at him with an amused smirk. "I made a vow of sorts, Master Alpha." She said in response. She was using the word master in place of mister.
Her two companions swiftly made a plan, which she did not offer any input to. It was only when they addressed her that she said anything.
"Think you can keep up with us?" Alpha had asked.
Both of Lauriëeccaira's eyebrows shot up in surprise before she began to laugh. "You're human! You should be worried about keeping up with me!" After a second of laughing, she became slightly serious.
"I'm certain that I'll be fine. I'm accustomed to fighting, though not usually with...flying projectiles." That being said, she started running in the direction of the buildings, making sure to run at a pace that she figured they could keep up with.

Alpha
and Bravo instinctively looked at each other, before looking back at the strange women.
"She's going to get herself killed."
"Well, what are we waiting for?"
Raising their individual rifles into the ready position, the quickly trailed after the lady...

Didn't take long for the three of them to reach the bandit outpost.
At the entrance, a couple of bandits were lazing around, doing nothing much but being bored.
"Hey! Lady! Wait a minute!"
Bravo
called out, hoping the bandits didn't notice his call out...or notice that the three of them were approaching.
If the lady would have turned and see, she would have noticed the two were slowing down into a crouch run stance, they're weapon appeared to be pointing upwards...

AGENT: MARIE
LOCATION: SKYRIM, BARREN TUNDRA, FAR NORTH
NEAR RYUGA AND RUBY

As the wind died down, Marie practically couldn't believe what was staring her in the face. A... kind of-- some sort of dragon, almost as if it popped out of a children's book. Except it was definitely real, as it flew back and forth. The dragon, living up to its name, spewed flames in front of the abandoned-looking shed, creating something of a blue-tinted bonfire. She got down onto her knees in front of the fire, practically soaking up the heat. That felt much better. She could practically feel the frozen ink thawing in the heat.

Over the horizon approached two people. They were of seemingly enormous stature - much taller than Marie herself. Sure, Marie wasn't the tallest of inklings, but these people were massive. They looked like they were at least twice her height, and pretty intimidating. This was building up to be the most confusing day she had ever experienced. Through chattering teeth, she asked the two strangers, "I-Is this y-your dragon?"

COMMANDER VORTEX
The Dust
Exodus East

The Kestrel was taken by surprise. It's simplistic A.I. lacked the ability to predict these things. As a result, the overwhelming firepower was simply too much for the light gunship to handle. The missiles and high-caliber ammunition took out its engines and knocked out its processing unit, sending it into a death spiral, spewing a combination of smoke and fire. The burning aircraft then crashed into the jagged rock that dotted the landscape and exploded. Glad that they had successfully eliminated the aerial menace, the bandits immediately broke out into cheers and whoops.

Until the lot of them were taken out by a flight of four additional Kestrels which came swooping down, their plasma cannons blazing, having received the distress call the lone Kestrel had transmitted before its untimely demise. Most of the Buzzards dropped like flies or exploded into a million pieces. Now demoralised, the surviving bandits attempted to flee, but were swiftly cut down by the relentless machines.

However, they seemed to pay no attention to the two mercenaries or the immortal daughter of two Maiar as they loitered around the area, expunging every last bandit.

COMMANDER VORTEX
Skyrim
Exodus North

Argus Unit 721 was performing its usual sweep of the province of Skyrim, flying high above the mountain peaks. The sleek recon drone was a construct the Commander had designed/copied after his arrival, deciding that his default Fireflies weren't effective enough. The Argus was created to solve that problem. Being much faster, efficient, and advanced than the default Firefly, it was the Commander's go-to machine when he needed some place scanned quickly. While they lacked the hypersonic ability of his Firehawks, they were equipped with far more advanced sensor systems, and had much better A.I. as well. Like most of Vortex's scout units, it was completely unarmed, and relied on the protection of his combat units.

So far, nothing interesting had happened, and the frozen tundra was just as barren as ever. If it had the capacity to experience emotions, it would likely be very bored. But it didn't, and diligently continued scanning the land.

On its fourth sweep, it finally detected something different: two figures who clearly didn't belong in this frozen landscape, one male, one female. The male seemed to possess a strange little box with what appeared to be a creature resembling what the Commander called 'dragons'. There was also an odd squid-like humanoid creature. The Argus' algorithms deduced that they were New Arrivals, and finding it rather curious, alerted the Commander of their presence, and promptly went back to merrily scanning the province.

--------------------

The Commander was alerted immediately. Deciding to take a break from micromanaging his units in the battlefield of the Machine War, he brought up the alert, wanting to see what his Argus found so interesting. Upon scanning the data, his brows would have furrowed in frustration if he had any.

He didn't recognise the young Asian man and odd squid humanoid, but he definitely recognised the cloaked silver-eyed girl.

Ruby Rose.

Which was impossible, as Penny had literally just finished a conversation with her, back in Vale. She couldn't have somehow teleported to Skyrim in the span of several seconds. However, upon closer review, the Commander noticed that she had the appearance of her Volume 4 incarnation, after the Fall of Beacon. Quickly working out that it was possible that she came from an alternate version of Remnant from after the Fall while the Vale that had appeared along with the other characters on Exodus were pre-fall Volume 3, he dispatched a Heron transport from his main base in Skyrim to their location, and at the same time, contacted Penny.

"Penny, this is Vortex." He began as usual, his voice young yet rough. "We have a problem."
