Personality: Ran is a bad liar and a bad actor. He tries his best to be serious and mature, but can't help that he's a child at heart. He gets quite huffy and embarrassed when he notices he failed at being the stereotypical noble. He sometimes goes to sit by himself and sulk until he realises that doing so is pretty childish. He is always trying to help, for various reasons. He is surprisingly gullible and has often gotten in trouble thanks to false information.
History: Born and raised as a noble in Chaski, his family was closely connected to the royal court. He was raised in a rather haphazard way. As servants came and left, so did his caretakers. Since his parents were busy most of the time, the servants filled that role. Each had a different approach to raising a child, so Ran had difficulty understanding what he was meant to be.
In the end, his childhood was mostly spent training how to carry on as a noble like his parents are. The few caretakers that let him actually be a child caused him to greatly desire those times. However, he wants to make his parents proud and be the mature adult that they expect.

Powers/Abilities: He is light on his feet and a fast runner, aided by high endurance. He has a heightened sense of hearing and slightly better than average scent. He is proficient with a sword, trained by well known swordsmen.
Weaknesses: Ran doesn't have a very powerful strike, so is really bad against people with high defense. He relies more on tiring out his opponent. While he has been trained by the best, his techniques are all very textbook. He probably wouldn't be great in a street brawl.
