Name:
Jason Riley

Age:
22

Country of Origin:
America

Gender:
Male

Slayer Type:
Armament

Armament Name:
Star Armament Cataclysm

Armament Appearance:
This Armament comes in the form of twin gauntlets that start from the elbow and go all the way down. Rather than looking like armor, these large gauntlets almost look like another beings arms were attached to his at the elbow. They are colored a bright with neon yellow accents. The fingers are all in this accent in there is a clear fire type design to them. They are covered in perfectly symmetrical runes that are also in this neon yellow color. They look oversized compared to his normal arms. The nails, the same neon yellow as the fingers, come to a sharp claw like point. Where his arms meet the gauntlets, the red base of them travel a small ways up the top of his arms like veins or roots. Each knuckle on the gauntlets have a neon yellow circle on them with a line threw them in the same color.

Armament Abilities:
This Armament gives it's user superhuman strength, speed and stamina. The main purpose of these gauntlets is powerful, almost brutal attacking power. Basically, you live by the tactic of punching.

When this armament is used to punch, the force from the punch can take on many forms. The user can designate the shock of these punches to travel throughout the body, causing lethal damage. All of the force can be expanded outward into a massive Shockwave that can hit enemies at even great distances. The smaller the area of the Shockwave, the longer distance it can be pushed. He can also use his Castor Energy to ignite the force, causing a massive fiery wave.

This Fire based attack can be pushed in a few different ways to make it more effective. The user can concentrate the ignition into a single beam of pure energy. This attack would cause Untold damage as it is a concentrated cataclysmic level attack. Not only that, but he has also developed a way to use this fire like Shockwave on an opponent from multiple angles all at once. It is a devastatingly powerful armament that leaves no room for defense and focuses all its power and the users castor energy into raw power and brute force.

Weaknesses:
Despite his ability to turn his punches into long ranged attacks, he is still mostly outclassed when dealing with long-ranged opponents. In a close range fight, there is no one who can stand against him. However, choosing to fight him at a distance gives you a clear advantage over anything he could possibly launch at you.

On top of that, his Armament uses up massive quantities of castor energy. So much so that a normal Demon Slayer could never hope to wield them. The only reason he is capable of wielding them it's because of his massive natural supplies of castor energy. That being said, he is not built for a long battle. The longer you draw out a battle, the smaller his chances of winning are.

Fighting Style:
Go for the face and punch hard. Quick and easy. Don't let it get long and complicated. Sometimes the simplest and fastest methods are the best. Go for win and don't be afraid to make it hurt.

Personality:
Jason is not a straightforward guy. Not in the way he acts or the way he teaches. Everything he does has a reason, but that reason might not always be clear. It takes a very special type of person to be able to handle him. One minute he's complimenting you on a job well done. The next he's telling you you aren't cut out for whatever you're doing. On top of that he has a very kind soul. He might not show it, but he is a sweetheart not so deep down. Everything he does is for the betterment of the people he cares about. He might put up a cold front, but inside he is warm and fuzzy. There aren't many people who could put up the same walls as he does to make sure the people he cares about don't get hurt. However, that's just the guy he is. Strong and stable, able to look brave and distant even in the most heartbreaking situations.

There have been many times where he has sacrificed his own happiness for the sake of the people he loves. This has left him with deep emotional and psychological trauma. He doesn't trust intimacy or closeness, knowing that he would most likely have to sacrifice it for the betterment of others. It's a hard pill to swallow, but he is the only one with the emotional and mental fortitude to not only be traumatized by these situations, but to also be able to stand strong in the face of them. He is a rare and wonderful case of somebody who truly put a higher value on somebody else's happiness rather than his own life. This might leave him scarred and broken, but it also makes him one of the best people to have around. Even if he can be a pain at times.

Backstory:
Jason's story was not unlike other demon slayers. He discovered he had a talent at a young age and was sought out by the Slayer Society. Once he made the decision to actually pursue being a Demon Slayer they tested his Castor Energy and discovered he was a armament type. That being said, his teacher quickly discovered that he was a very rare breed. Most people can only summon one armament, but his Armament came as a two-part set. This made him rare. What also made him rare was his overwhelming amount of castor energy. Castor energy cannot exactly be measured, but it is clear that some people have more than others. You already needed to have a lot of it to even become a Slayer, but Jason was discovered to have an unprecedented amount.

At the age of 14, he lost his family. Not due to any tragedy, but he had to tell them to leave. There was too much danger in his line of work. It broke his heart the things he had to save his family. They had always been there for him and it hurt in a very deep level to have to you make them leave. This event was what sparked his distrust of any sort of positive relationship. He hates the idea of hurting others by saving them from himself. It is his greatest fear.

By the time he turned 18, the Slayer Society offered him a seat in the Council of Ten. This Council was the 10 strongest demon slayers from around the world. They were the pinnacle of the Slayer world. Jason knew exactly why they wanted him there. It became clear that his level of power was frightening to them. If they lost control of him, they would lose substantial amounts just to stop him. Having him on the council would make it much easier to keep track of him. He declined to the offer, choosing to live in a house with his two friends. They converted the house and the land that came with it into a training facility. Now they live together and train the new recruits that happened to be sent their way.

Extra:
Jason has a deep and Powerful wish. All he has ever wanted in life and all he has dreamed about was to find someone to love. He wants the cliche, oversold and sappy romances that you see in TV shows and movies. Despite that, he still has issues trusting intimacy or any sort of romantic situation. He wants it desperately, but openly sabotages himself just to save himself the heartache he believes will come later on.

Name: Desmond Murphy
Age: 16
Country of Origin: America
Gender: male
Slayer Type: armament

Armament Name: Black sun

Armament appearance: one pitch black metal gauntlet that covers his right hand and forearm. His armament has ornate circular carvings in it that swirl around the metal like the ocean, as well as three small protruding spikes on the knuckles, and three larger curved spikes that protrude from the outside of the forearm section. Upon looking at the armament it almost seems to get darker the more one focuses on it.

Armament Abilities: desmonds armament is capable of manipulating the very gravity of things it touches. Making the objects or its user lighter, or heavier as it wishes. Though as a student he can only manipulate the gravity by a marginal fraction. Barely enough to give himself a slight speed advantage.

Weaknesses: Desmond must physically touch his target in order to activate his armaments ability, and must touch them with the armament itself. And so, it can be easily telegraphed to his opponent if they know what it is capable of doing. Desmond’s armament uses a lot of castor energy, and it takes just as much to maintain the gravitational effect on its target, be it him or another. The more force it exerts on its target, the more energy used. That paired Desmond’s hot head and up close and personal fighting style, Desmond is a burst fighter that has serious difficulty in long range or endurance fights.

Fighting Style: overwhelm foes with fast and powerful attacks. Uses boxing/Muy Thai style attacks as well as various weapons he’s been trained in.

Personality: Desmond is a singularly focused slayer student. He eat, sleeps, and dreams training. His goal in life is the complete and total eradication of all demons. He had a zero sum policy of acceptance towards them. As such, his social skills may be a bit.... lacking. Though he wishes to have a family to replace the one he lost, though he knows it can never be so. But because of this, he is fiercely loyal to his teacher as well as his fellow students. Slayers stand on a pedestal of achievement to him. The literal personification of greatness in his eyes.

Backstory: Desmond had known tragedy from an early age. Demons had killed his entire family when he was just seven years old. They had slaughtered his father, eaten his mother, tortured his older brother, and taken his younger sisters. To this day he had never found their bodies. He had been lucky, though perhaps his luck had been a form of bad luck as well...

His mother had been a retired slayer, though none of them had known it at the time due to the secretive nature of the slayer society. However he has since been told his mother had been a somewhat talented slayer, specializing in creation. Though, she hadn’t been talented enough. She’d only been able to save him alone.... she’d created a stag, one that she’d commanded to carry him away through the woods into he city, to safety. It hadn’t made it, dissipating into nothingness only halfway, something he knew now meant her demise. Even with the stag taking him away, he’d seen too much blood and death to ever be the same again. Shortly after stumbling into the nearby city, a fellow retired slayer, one whom his mother had known well, took him in.

He had always told Desmond he didn’t have what it takes to be a slayer, and that if the society ever came to take him, he’d be chewed up and spat out. But with grit and raw determination Desmond has trained himself every single day since then. No breaks, no sick days and no holidays. If he didn’t have the natural ability, he would cultivate it and force the world to acknowledge him.

Finally the day came when the society took him away from the old retired slayer. But not before he’d overheard the praises that the old man, who had become something of a father to him in recent years, had to say.

“His determination is second to none. What he lacks in natural talent, he makes up for ten fold with raw effort. This boy is destined for great things, See to it he gets a teacher who reflects that.”

Extra: Desmond hopes to one day find the demons who killed his family, and take the ultimate form of revenge. Though, he knows he needs companions who are capable in order to do that. He may be driven, but he isn’t stupid.

Name:
Erika Fischer

Age:
18

Country of Origin:
Germany

Gender:
Female

Slayer Type:
Enchantment Type

Abilities:

1 - Increase the hardness of the skin of either the user or another person (Needs a constant flow of caster energy to maintain)
2 -
Enchant an object to be extremely sticky (Small amount of caster energy)
3 - Connect two objects or people which allows the two to switch places (Large burst of caster energy needed for the switch)
4 - Using a combination of caster energy and her own vocal cords she can lure demon's to her position and away from her allies (Medium level of caster energy needed)
5 - Expand and Contract objects (Each time she does either, requires a significant burst of caster energy)

Weaknesses:

While Erika has many abilities that pertain to taking attacks and shrugging them off, she struggles with a group of enemies much more than the average slayer. Groups of enemies without actual support will cause her major trouble as she is used to using her raw strength in overpowering demons one at a time. Along with her great physical strength, unfortunately, comes her lack of speed. She often believes herself to be the slowest slayer there is, usually just barely able to dodge out of the way of normal attacks. Her reaction speed is the only thing that saves her during those close calls. She is also not the...smartest when it comes to battle (or just regular life). She would not make a great tactician and therefore relies heavily on orders from those above her. She is definitely a follower and not a leader.

Number of Enchantments at a Time:

Three usable at a time unless it is large enchantments. Then Erika is usually only able to maintain two or sometimes only one.

Fighting Style:

Her fighting style mostly centers around herself becoming an unmovable object. With a sword in one hand and a shield in the other, her attacks are slow but extremely heavy and powerful, able to cleave demons in half with one blow. Each attack is considered a kill shot from her and you'd be a fool to dismiss her strength.

Personality:

Erika is a very cheerful and naive girl. She is often loud and boisterous and can see the good in anything. Some might consider her soft and not fit to be a slayer because of the way she acts inside and outside of battle. Her abilities, however, speak for themselves and Erika never hesitates to slice her enemies in two. A force to be reckoned with personality-wise, many people find it hard to keep up with her excitable nature. She can be seen as tomboyish and many guys just see her as one of the boys, something she loves.

Backstory:

Erika grew up with two brothers and only a father to look up to. Her mother died giving birth to her little brother, leaving it up to her older brother and father to truly support the family. She led a fairly normal life for a couple years. She would go to school and then hang out with friends at the parks or swim in the local creeks. When she would get back home, she'd ignore her homework in favor of playing some silly games with her friends once again. Erika never did have the top grades but managed to scrape by with effort (though she didn't like giving it). One day however she was suddenly approached by the slayers, a group of people dedicated to slaying demons that infected her world. Apparently she had randomly started releasing caster energy during her daily activities. Unable to control it, it wasn't a surprise that she was found quickly by the organization. After a long and difficult talk, Erika decided to pursue and hone her ability as a slayer. She had no personal vendetta so instead, her determination came from others. She wished to make others' dreams come true and for that to happen, Erika would happily deal with the demons that cloud society.

Extra:

Erika has actually yet to tell her father or brothers that she would be disappearing. Instead, she made up a lie about studying abroad to give them hope that they would see each other again. She secretly mails them letters every now and then to let them know she is fine and well.

MEREDITH VOLKOV

Age:
31

Country of Origin:
Ireland (Irish/Russian)

Gender:
Female

Slayer Type:
Creation Type

Abilities:
Meredith’s Creations were honed in her early days, so they often take on very dark and twisted shapes. Her signature Creation is Hellfire, a bright and terrible fire that saps at the demons’ being and essentially suffocates them to death. She utilizes this Creation most times, as it is perfect for attacking from a distance and by surprise.

Meredith has also been known to Create beings to fight alongside her, that take the shape of demons themselves. She can maintain about two or three demon Creations at a time without much trouble, though it does sap her energy quick and she usually only utilizes one or two in order to conserve her energy.

She has a variety of weapons she Creates on the regular, though she prefers long-range weaponry like Hellfire-laced arrows or bullets. Meredith can comfortably maintain two weapons at a time, and has been known to lend a weapon to an ally in need.

Meredith’s defensive-based Creations are unique to her own style and upbringing. Creation-type Slayers are not normally relied upon for defensive Creations, being considered more as offensive-only Slayers. Never one to fit anyone else’s mold, Meredith has made a point to develop defensive Creations that take the form of barriers between demons and herself or her allies. These Creations require more focus and energy than her offensive Creations, and they are also less refined. While maintaining a protective dome or barrier, she is unable to make any offensive Creations, and so she only relies upon her defensive Creations as a last resort, or as a retreat.

Weaknesses:
Meredith’s Castor Energy is not limitless, which influences her fighting style. She plays the long-game, tailoring her Creations so that the energy-sapping is at a minimum, allowing her the ability to stay in the fight longer. If she is forced to exert too much energy into defensive Creations, her offensive Creations are often limited in their variety and endurance. She is a slow-and-steady fighter, which can be difficult to maintain against more aggressive opponents.

Having focused her early training on long-range Creations, Meredith’s close-range Creations are unrefined and limited. She has a few tricks up her sleeves, but often relies more on physical training than Creations when in such a predicament. She caries two long knives for such occasions.

Fighting Style:
Meredith fights smarter, not harder. She is a strategist, and tailors her style to her opponent. She believes there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ strategy when it comes to demon slaying, and will often study her prey for hours, if not days, before striking. She prefers to fight from a distance, something she became comfortable with in her assassin days. That does not mean she is incapable of engaging in hand-to-hand, only that her strength lies in long-range combat and her close-range Creations are not as refined.

Personality:
Meredith takes no shit, nor does she tolerate it. She is a strong and confidant woman with the experience and power to back it up. She is known to push her students, never one to hold back or sugarcoat things. Demons don’t hold back, demons don’t sugarcoat. It is not uncommon for students to leave her classes in tears, and perhaps she can take it a little too far sometimes, but her personal experience with the demons they fight is what has developed this teaching strategy. She would much rather have a student run home crying and hating her, than going out into the field with false hopes and meeting their end at the hands of a demon. She challenges her students because she cares, and though they may not understand her tactics most times, she knows they will all be the better for it. Demon Slaying is not for the feint of heart, and she has little interest in lying to her students about this fact.

Meredith can come off as arrogant and callous, but she would do anything for her students and fellow teachers. She maintains an open-door policy, and ensures that all students have her personal cell number should they require anything off-hours.

Backstory:
Meredith’s past is a rocky one. Some might call it dark, but she has never viewed it as such. She carries no regrets or shame, for shame and regret are the enemies of progress. Her past is her past, and without her past, she would not have her present. She does not dwell, her conscience is clean, and her thoughts lie only on her future.

Meredith was an intentional child, the first of three. Her mother chose her suitor carefully, hand-picking him for his strength, smarts, and his overflowing Castor Energy. Being the child of a Demon Slayer herself, she was well-versed in demon and slayer lore, and knew exactly what to look for. He was an Armament-type Demon Slayer, one of the best in Ireland, renowned across the world of slayers. Meredith’s mother seduced the Slayer, and once the child was born and confirmed healthy, she killed him while he slept. Meredith’s mother was no stranger to using others for her own gain, and had come to lead a group of powerful demons, promising them blood and the freedom to pillage Ireland at their leisure in exchange for their undying loyalty.

Meredith was brought up into this environment, and eased into it without much thought for anything else. It was all she knew, and as she developed her Creation-type abilities with her mother’s help, she did so alongside demons. As a child, Meredith was sent ahead of her mother and her mother’s demons, tasked with scouting out Demon Slayers and reporting back so that the Slayers could be taken out before they were aware of the demons’ presence. As a young woman, she would scout ahead and deal with the Slayers herself, often attacking them while they slept, or earning their trust as a fellow Demon Slayer and taking them out when they least suspected. Once the Slayers were dealt with, the demons were free to ravage the town unchallenged.

Meredith spent the first twenty-four years of her life in her mother’s service, and racked up a death toll that became infamous. No one knew who she was, only that no one who ever crossed paths with the Harbinger lived to tell of him. Some thought she was a demon, others a demon-man-hybrid birthed from Hell, and still some told stories of a wayward Slayer who had turned on his own kind and joined the very thing he had once fought, and now walked the earth a grotesque monstrosity of a man, deformed by the dark evil that he now served. These stories allowed Meredith to work unabated, for she was neither male nor deformed.

About seven years ago, Meredith was nearly killed by one of the Slayers she had been sent to assassinate. It had been a trap, and she was ambushed by five of his fellow Slayers who had been lying in wait for the Harbinger. Meredith managed to handle the unpleasant surprise, but not without a cost. She was close to death, though she had managed to drag herself back to her mother before collapsing into a coma. Upon awakening, she found that her mother had made a deal—the allegiance of a massive and powerful faction of demons pillaging through the UK in exchange for her daughter’s dying corpse promised to their leader. Her mother had accepted, and Meredith had been nursed to health and handed over to the demon who had been promised her body as a vessel. Meredith, rightfully upset by her mother’s betrayal, fought off and killed the demon, which upset the demons who had promised their fealty to her mother. Meredith managed to escape with her life, going on the run, ending the terror that had been the Harbinger’s Reign.

Meredith spent a year reinventing herself, utilizing her Creation abilities to mask her scent (which the demons undoubtedly had) and spent another two years honing her skills with the intention of one day being strong enough to seek her mother out and take her revenge. It was in these years that she was noticed by the Slayer Society for her growing success as a Slayer. As there was no record of any official training, they sought to bring her into the fold, to indoctrinate her into their way of thinking. It was obvious they merely wished to muzzle her, and Meredith had no interest in being muzzled. She continued to operate outside their laws, but was left alone due to her success and growing popularity. She found an older Demon Slayer who was willing to accept a significant sum of money in exchange for going before the Council and speaking on her behalf, assuring the Council that he had trained her himself in accordance with the Society’s doctrines. They finally left her alone.

It was not much later that she met Jason Riley, and finding him of like mind, she decided to align herself—she knew the path that lay before her was not one she could walk alone for long. And when the opportunity to raise up the next generation of Demon Slayers presented itself, Meredith gladly took it, seeing it as an opportunity to both eradicate demons more efficiently with her own group of eager students, as well as a chance to further her knowledge of the other two Slayer-types. Anything that would give her an edge against her mother, Meredith was eager to try. Unbeknownst to her, her mother holds her own dark secrets—not everything is at it appears.

Extra:
Although Meredith’s past and her alter ego is known only to her fellow teachers, her students are likely to have heard stories of the ‘Harbinger’. Meredith has even been known to bring the myth of the Harbinger into her lessons, urging her students to utilize caution at all times, and to never trust anyone but themselves. Their closest allies could be working against them, and though she does encourage trust among her students, she instills upon them the importance of keeping an open mind and listening to their gut and instinct—everyone is a potential enemy.

She attempted to erase her Irish accent during her reinvention, but failed miserably. It is a part of her and if her accent is what gives her away, then so be it.

Raising demon slayer.jpg

Name:
Cassiopeia 'Cass' Beaumont

Age:
Seventeen (17)

Country of Origin:
United Kingdom

Gender:
Female

Slayer Type:
Armament

Armament Name:
Raijin
meaning God of lightning and thunder

Armament Appearance:
For now her armament is black in colouring, it is considered to be rather intricate looking compared to others. The armament itself starts from her middle finger, a thin band securing it in place, as it then circles her wrist, wrapping around her forearm and stopping just before her elbow and circling there (Almost like how a vine wraps) . With her fingers free to wiggle and move, it is a perfect match for Cass

Armament Abilities:
Cassiopeia's Armament allows her to become one with lightning, embodying it in her very nature. To be seen as an unstoppable force, with a speed that grants her to close the distance in mere seconds, applying her momentum and lightning that dances under to skin to be outputted to create a powerful attack. This means that Cass can be considered to be able to use the attack from a distance should she wish too. As a result, the armament also enhances her legs to be able to withstand the initial set-off. With her speed, it also enables multiple attacks in one go as she can dance around her opponent not stopping for long to disorient them.

Note: As a student, Cass cannot output lightning properly managing sparks that leave burn marks feeling it predominantly within herself, and gets close to feeling rather sick if attempted, still needing to build up her caster energy. Meaning that she only has the speed element to hand, which while is considered to be faster than enchantments can go, is not at its full potential.

Weaknesses:
Endurance - while Cass can maintain a high output of speed, this is not for battles that require for long distances to be covered and can only be used in short bursts. Even then Cass still needs to train more on her body. If overused Cass will find herself looking for breath and finding that she will need support to keep attacking.

Multiple attacks - At the moment Cass is wielding a lightning attributed katana, and as she can't output the energy inside her just yet it requires her to take multiple attacks and back up to ensure she deals considerable damage - this is so she does not flat out her endurance with one single attack. Meaning it takes longer for her to kill an opponent (if demon) + Hand to hand combat is limited to her legs.

Group fighting - Cassiopeia has a one-track mind and it not equipped to attack multiple enemies, her back is often left open if she is not careful and has to have a backup at all times. This and she doesn't have the skills to yet deal with crowd control.

Fighting Style:
Cassiopea is silent and graceful with her attacks, preferring to step back and watch the situation before stepping in and attacking. Preferring to initially stalk her opponents before the attack, like a coiled snake waiting to strike. In fact, she also isn't even the first to launch an attack letting others so so first. Deploying her katana to slice her opponents apart, sharpened to death its whispered to even cut through the air. If in the event of a lost sword, the girl can use her knowledge of taekwondo to knock her opponent unconscious as a last resort.

Personality:
The girl is rather sweet to others when she's really faking it - this girl will stop at nothing to get what she wants, preferring to do things for her own goals, not someone else. Truly the only time she makes a statement about herself is when she's fighting or training, that's where her true personality lies, giving her the encouragement to keep ongoing. In addition to this, Cassiopeia can be considered cold with her short responses and Stoney facial expressions outside of her training, trying to distance herself as much as possible. For those that are close and do know her to know that Cassiopeia refers to not rely on people due to her past.

Backstory:
This is the story of a girl who was recruited into the process by a complete accident.

Cassiopeia used to be very well known for her remarkable sword demonstrations, it being her one true passion and love. While she has not lived the full experience like her parents have done yet - now old in their years. Her father was a demon slayer and he kept it a secret from all of them. Her older sister was also a demon secret and she kept it from them. Them being her mother and herself. They were never meant to know.

The girl was considered to be a rather friendly person with extremely good grades, and getting all the boys she could have wanted. Well-liked by all her teachers, and the talk amongst peers when she did a good deed. It was where she allowed herself to be in her element. To interact and blissfully enjoy life.

There was an accident, before her 15 birthday her older sibling and father were slaughtered right in front of her very eyes. Demons. Cassiopeia had been dared to follow them. Distracting them in the process. The girl watched, unable to move, unable to think. There was blood. It changed her forever. Walking away with a scar running underneath her left shoulder blade, where a demon attempted to take a chunk of her.

The one who saved her was the one who recruited her. She looked like her sister after all.

Extra:
There's a strength inside of her, that she knows not of yet. Forcing herself to be cut off from the life she once had, even her mother.
Her Katana is her prized possession and relies on it too much.

Zion Avramadi
1582956610135.png
Age: 18
Country of Origin: Greece
Gender: Androgynous
Slayer Type: Creation

Creation Abilities: Can maintain a wolf familiar. They can also shoot magic-infused arrows, which singe it's target.
Weaknesses: As expected for a Creation Slayer Type like them, their familiar is their main sense of power—without them, they'll be instantly put into an disadvantageous situation. There's also the main issue of teamwork with others; not only is there trouble communicating with others, this means coordination can be a hassle. However, most notable of all is that with certain triggers, Zion will enter a rage-fueled rampage against any demons nearby them. There's no boost in power, or suddenly enhanced performance. Their bloodlust for demons leads to a destructive fighting style with caution thrown to the wind, reckless and dangerous. This can get in the way of those around them, even hurting them in the process. And if it's left unstopped, it either leads to all the demons around them dead or them running out of energy mid-battle.
Fighting Style: Despite a bad sense of coordination with their peers, Zion is synchronized with their familiar. This familiar is near the size of a bear yet takes the form of a wolf, and this wolf is Zion's main offensive. It's a weapon all by itself; able to tear through, take blows from, and evade around demons. This familiar can either work independently or directly under Zion's control (the default being the former.) It's not uncommon for the two to fight apart as a pair, protecting each other's backs—but it's also just as common for Zion to be seen riding the familiar, using a bow to create openings for the familiar. Zion themselves is a skilled shot with this bow, featuring their own set of precision, aim, and agility. Though their wolf is undoubtedly the power of a Creation Slayer, it's nothing to scoff at.

Personality: Zion is...not quite entirely cold, but definitely not warm. The type to only speak when they believe it's necessary, one might think that they're just composed or even cold because of their seemingly cool-headed attitude; but the truth is just that Zion is emotionally distant. They don't feel a particular connection to their peers or teachers. Their well-kept nerves is simply because the feeling of fear, along with other emotions felt muted. Of course, Zion doesn't look down at those around the people around them or thinks they're all bad people—they appreciate those around them for their qualities, but they just see other people as untrustworthy. This adversity to creating new connections makes Zion feel isolated from the company and environment around them, a feeling which they think is normal. To them, it really is just them and their familiar. To Zion, they are alone, and to Zion this is how it should be. Perhaps over time they'll overcome this distance, and tear down the walls they've put up. But until that day comes, the walls remain up, and wariness seeps into their very soul with every interaction.

Backstory:
Elitism is prominent in every faucet of life. This extends to the Slayer Society, where it flourishes perhaps even more than in the regular world. In the Slayer Society there existed two particular Demon Slayers; one was an enchantment Slayer known for their high pool of castor energy, and the other was a powerful armament Slayer. The two, both from prominent families known for long lines of Slayers, would marry. They would have children, and these children were to be brought up as slayers who took the best of both from the two. With new powerful Slayers born into the world, the world would be just that much safer with more demons being slain. The world would be just that much better, and life would go on. To these families and to the Slayer Society, it was a sound plan. But of course, reality is never that kind. They gave birth to children who simply "didn't make the cut". They didn't have the castor energy—they didn't have the strength—they were simply lacking. They weren't good enough to the families, and that was all they needed to know. "Would the demons spare them just because they were born weak? How can they possibly be the hope for our future?" they would say, as if a person could control the innate nature of their existence. There were thoughts of even disposing what were viewed as faulty products, but that would make these people as bad as demons themselves. Yet their solution was anything hardly better; it would be to train these "lacking" children and push the limits of whatever they did have.

Zion is one of these children.
After coming of age, their conditioning began. It was what they spent both childhood and adolescence on, and is the majority of Zion's memories. This training was harsh and unforgiving: weakness was unacceptable. Their bodies would have to be high-maintained, molded for the demands of being a Slayer. They would have to fortitude themselves mentally, to cut themselves off from fear and hesitation. It pushed them to their very limits—and if they couldn't take it, it just meant they truly were the faulty product that they had been labelled. Every day was another struggle against the heavy expectations set for them, and every day was another test. There was family, of course—Zion was always surrounded by family. But there was no familial love, and there was no friendliness. Their other siblings would never seek each other out for comfort, because that was a sign of weakness. Unacceptable, undesirable weakness that was to be conditioned out of them. In the end, Zion emerged from this training with their single bond...being with their familiar. By the age of 18, Zion understood their role to the family (and consequently, the world): they would become a powerful Slayer meant to kill demons. They would have to become a powerful slayer, because that was their single purpose. It was also by this time that the families had decided that they were finally ready to take to the next step. It was time for formal training under a true Master Slayer to develop their capabilities as what they could now acknowledge as a Slayer. And so Zion would be forced to leave the family, and to enter an entirely foreign world to continue this training.

Truthfully, Zion didn't know what to expect. Because for all of the pressure put upon them to become a Slayer, they were never taught how to be a person.

Extra: Their voice is both soft and soothing (when they choose to speak). It has a Greek accent to it. They're not exactly nonbinary, but their complete relegation of gender and refusal to answer what it is makes it hard to determine what to call them. They accept any sort of pronouns. Stands at 5'9.

Name: Nanako Mitsuru

Age: 15

Country of Origin: Japan

Gender: Female

Slayer Type: Creation

Abilities:

Nanako is able to Create a large, golden hawk and a silver wolf. She is also able to create twin katanas with a blue hawk hilt design, to replicate her mother's.

Weaknesses:

Nanako is only able to mantain one Creature at a time. Mantaining trying to mantain both takes a lot of Castor Energy out of her and she would pass out from the strain and pressure. Her curiosity is also a huge problem, as it makes her disobey orders and it goes against a plan and has multiple times almost gotten her killed. Although fast, Nanako doesn't have much physical strength, as she mostly relies on her weapons to fight and her speed to quickly finish things off. If she were to fight unharmed, she would be at a great disadvantage.

Fighting Style:

Nanako likes to make a quick kill, so she might let someone attack first as a distraction or use one of her Creations, then sneak in and finish off. Can also hit the enemy in different directions really fast to confuse them.

Personality:
The first thing someone were to tell you about Nanako, is that her curiosity exceeds limits. She is a kind of person who likes to question things, wants to know why this is this or that is that and would not stop until she found out. Her determination is also a notable trait, which, combined with her curiosity, makes her seem stubborn most of the time. Despite her stuborness, Nanako is very loyal to her fellow students and still hold a hatred for demons for what they did to her mother.

Backstory:

Nanako lived in a small house close to a hill in Japan and was occasionally far away from the city, only going there to go to school or to visit relatives. She was an only child who lived with her parents, Aoi and Takeshi, the latter worked in the city while his wife would stay at home. She would spend most of her days exploring and having small 'adventures' with her city friends. Her mother liked to take what she called 'night walks' in private. Neither Nanako or her father could follow her, but were convinced she just needed to clear her head after a long day.

One night, Nanako was up doing some homework when her mother stumbled in, injured. She quickly went to assist her mother in tending her wounds. When she asked what happened, her response was wild animals and made Nanako promise to not tell her father about this. This ignited her curiosity: What actually happened during those night walks?
Nanako started following her mother around and saw nothing, except sometimes when she would have a katana with a blue hawk design on the hilt. When she asked her mother about it, she said it was a blade from her ancestors and Nanako was satisfied with that.

Months after that, Nanako's house was attacked by Demons. Aoi told Takeshi to take Nanako, get away from the house and go to the city. Her father didn't know what was going on, but obeyed her orders and took his daughter away, but Nanako managed to slip off her father's grip and rushed back to the house. She watched as her mother fought with her 'ancestral katana' and unleashed power against the demons. She was strong, but they were too many and overpowered her and killed her. When the fight was over and the demons were gone, Nanako walked over to the only thing left: A katana with a blue hawk design on the hilt, her ancestral katana. That was when everything made more sense.

After the attack, Nanako was sent to live with her uncle, Hiroshi, who was Aoi's brother. He was a Creation Slayer, in contrast of his sister's Armament type and trained his niece the way of the blade before sending her to get recruited.

Extra:

Nanako loves food and clearly isn't picky!

Her father thinks their house was attacked by thieves or something of the sort.

Nanako, despite being an only child, treats other students as the siblings she never had.

Nanako's most prized possesion is her mother's katana and only uses it when she really needs to.

Name:

Lilith Winchester

Age:

15

Country of Origin:

America (American/Scottish)

Gender:

Female

Slayer Type:

Creation

Abilities:

She can summon a wolf and a fairy, the fairy being more of a healer. She can also summon a sword with a phoenix on the hilt and the pattern of a phoenix on the blade and a regular handgun.

Weaknesses:

As with any Creation type Slayer, their primary use of power is the familiars. Take that away and they wouldn't last long. In the case of Lilith, you could take one away and she'd still be at least half as capable in a fight, but still at a disadvantage.

When it comes to her other weaknesses, her emotions are a big one. If she sees an ally or a friend or anyone close to her get injured or killed, her emotions will fuel everything she does. This weakness will lead to some life-threatening stuff, like getting herself or others injured or even killed, so proceed with caution if you try to calm her down.

The other big weakness she has is probably her willingness to rush in head first most of the time. Now while she is capable of hanging back and observing before making the decision to fight, most of the time, she'll run into a fight, which isn't the best idea. Especially if it's fueled by her emotions, seeing an enemy that she has a grudge against.

Fighting Style:

Lilith plays combat a few different ways. Without using any of her summons, animals or weapon, she's sort of capable, knowing hand to hand as well as kickboxing. However, due to being a Creation type, this wouldn't last her long which would probably cost her a win and maybe even her life.

With her animal summons, she uses the wolf as a way to attack for her, giving it orders to attack or keep someone in place with a bite or even using it to distract someone. The fairy on the other hand is her way of supporting others, using it to heal as it flies around them. Using these two allow her to keep her distance, having time to think of an idea or look for a weak spot.

Her weapons on the other hand, these come out when she's done using one or both of her summons. With the sword, she could keep the fairy out and keep it focused on healing as she runs in to attack. Her style with the sword makes sure that she can get hits in while staying aware of the surroundings. The gun on the other hand, when used with the wolf, allows her to be able to attack from afar and slow down enemies, given that she can get a hit on them.

Personality:

Lilith is what you'd call the chill girl. Normally a calm girl, she's calm most of, if not all the time. She's capable of thinking stuff through and watching her surroundings. However, when her emotions get involved, it's a different story.

When her emotions get involved, she stops thinking things through, preferring to let the emotions do the talking and dictate the actions. She's very much an emotional girl, which is to be expected with a fifteen year old girl. Emotions would be a part of any girl at that age unless they were a robot.

Besides all of that, she's kind and caring, especially to those younger than her, making her like a mother. To those older than her, she obviously treats them with respect, something that is rare in teenagers. Really, she has qualities that not very many teenagers or most people have these days.

Backstory:

A completely normal girl till recently, Lilith Winchester was that one girl in class that was just kind of there. Sure she had maybe a few friends, but for the majority of the time, she just kind of existed. Born to her mother and father, Lily and George Pines, she and her very older sister, named Angela, by fifteen years spent the next three years happy and getting along for the most part. Sure, there were the occasional arguments between her sister and their parents, but for the most part it was a happy time.

And then their parents died during a robbery at home while Angela took Lilith out to the grocery store to get her candy.

Her sister, who was about to go off to college and wouldn't have time to take care of her sister, dropped her off at a family friend's, Wendy Winchester's, place and took her last name. From there, Angela made sure to come visit from time to time when she could and Lilith lived relatively a normal life. Of course, she still missed her parents, but she tried to not think about it too much.

Fast forward some years and one day, when she was fourteen, some of the popular girls dared her to spend two nights out in the creepy woods near the school or they'd spread some pretty nasty rumors about her. Lilith, not wanting them to spread the rumors and then lose her only friends in the process due to them, accepted. This was a pretty bad idea all things considered and she knew it. Yet, the need to want to keep those friends she had made her go through with it.

That first night, she was about to sleep but then heard a noise. It sounded... inhuman. Footsteps got closer and closer and eventually, it turned out to be a demon. She freaked out, panicked, and ran. It followed and eventually slashed at her leg, creating a very nasty scar on her right calf. As she fell and closed her eyes, waiting for death to come for her, it never did. Opening her eyes, she saw a ghostly wolf bit it's arm and keep it in place and in her right hand, a handgun.

Wasting no time, she shot at the demon and then both things disappeared as a fairy and a sword where the handgun was appeared, the fairy healing her a bit to give her enough strength to get up and stab the demon. After that, she passed out for the remainder of the time she was suppose to stay in the forest, these new abilities taking a lot out of her.

After returning from the forest, life continued as normal as it could be. Of course, she couldn't tell anyone about what happened, they'd thing she was insane. She did start taking lessons with self defense to make sure she was ready for a fight. Around this time, her sister had started to plan to get married to her boyfriend, so she came around more so that Lilith could help out with the wedding as a flower girl.

A year later, Lilith received mail from a group calling themselves the Slayer Society, saying that they found out about the incident in the woods and due to her age, they'd need to take her in and teach her. With Wendy who had died a few months ago after she turned fifteen and not that long after the wedding, she had no choice but to go to where the letter said to go, leaving her life behind and becoming the student of a Creation type Slayer.
